Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's a Thursday. Let's get this thing going. Week four.
The NFL is here. We still have to talk Taylor
Swift for some reason. Monsey absolutely, yeah. I don't understand it.
I don't get it. We are broadcasting live for the
Tirech dot com studios. John Ramos is here, Jason Stewart's here,
Isaac Lowincron is here. I'm sitting your standing and I

(00:38):
almost stole your line.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
I am standing, But I don't think people could tell
we look like we're the same height right now, Isaac,
you couldn't tell, right.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
No offense, Monty, I could not tell it all.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
Yeah, I figured to see we look the same. I
just like standing. I'm ready.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
This is because we're I'm ready to like throw it down.
I feel like we're gonna disagree with hot.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
So do you see the clips after the show, try
to Heifer that this is also on the heels. Monty
and I did a show a few weeks ago. I
saw she was like a foot taller than me on
the chair, like it was all the way up that
it was so high you were hitting the vents, or
maybe I was.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
So low, but yeah, I have to be tall when
I can.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
We're on equal footing today we are.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
And I'm wearing a heel. We're still equal.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
She's wearing heels and I'm wearing a backwards baseball cast.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
I mean, if this isn't cool, and I don't know
what it is.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
I think the problem I had with that video was
that your hair wasn't as long as Monce's. So that's
where I got mixed up with yes job, sorry, yes,
yet we are broadcasting life from the tirec dot Com studios.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Tyrec dot Com will help you get there an unmatched selection, fast,
free shipping, free road hazard protection in over ten thousand

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Tirec dot Com the way tire buying the way tire
buying should be.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
They're a little curveball there a little bit, and.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I need tires, y'all. Like that's a real thing. I
need some tires. This show is also brought to you
by Progressive Insurance. Progressive makes bundling easy and affordable. Get
a multi policy discount by combining your motorcycle, RV, boat,
ATV and more, all your protection in one place.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Bundle and Sava Progressive dot Com. I was not ready
for that. Well, I'm also not ready for Jets talk.
My goodness, why are we still talking about the New
York Jets. I cannot understand this. There's so much going on.
We're gonna get to Giannis and Damian Lillard and Milwaukee
and more on that. From the reaction in the trade yesterday,
we've got some Travis Kelcey Taylor Swift opinions that. Again,

(02:33):
I just am not sure on why this continues to
be a story, but there seemed to be some now
haters coming out about this relationship. We dive into that.
Plus we go so far back that Moncey will hear
a story about something that happened in sports when she
wasn't even alive. And I think that if you're Manzie's age,

(02:53):
you'll want to hear it. If you're my age, you'll
know exactly what I'm talking about but it was a crazy,
crazy time in the NFL. But we start where it's
a crazy crazy start to the season to the New
York Jets. And here's my problem with the New York Jets, Manzi.
Aaron Rodgers was the story of this team. This team
knew that they needed to have it get a quarterback

(03:14):
in the offseason because Zach Wilson was not going to
be that guy. And with Aaron Rodgers and his dissatisfaction
in Green Bay, the first couple of months of the
offseason when the regular season ended, speculation where does Aaron
Rodgers go? Does he retired? Does he play? What does
Green Bay do? And then he comes out of darkness,
finds out green Bay wants to trade him, and he's like, well,

(03:35):
all right, then I want to go too. I'm ready
to move on. I want to be a member of
the New York Jets. And then that took off. I
know it's a nice reference to a jet taking off,
but the Jets hype took off. But I'm sorry it
came to a quick end when he blew his achilles
on Monday Night Football in Week one, four plays into

(03:55):
his Jets tenure. And I just don't understand why it
continues to be a conversation. I get what Joe Namath
is talking about it because he's on a New York
show that there's a conversation. You're a lot of Jets
fans are there. But this is a one and two
team right now that doesn't have a quarterback that we

(04:15):
knew wasn't the quarterback. Aaron Rodgers is no longer there,
and I don't know why we're still talking about the
New York Jets.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Ugh, I'm like, on the other side of this stand,
I'm still talking about the Jets. I still want to
see what happens. There is one thing I'm sure of.
Destiny for Zach Wilson is to be the Jets quarterback.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
And after Week one, they won.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
They won that game after Aaron Rodgers went down, and
all I wanted I was rooting for Zach Wilson.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Nobody expected this to happen.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Nobody believes in him, and I am the one that
wants to watch this, that is rooting for him to
just I don't need them to be perfect, it's not
I just wanted to feel.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
Okay being the Jets quarterback.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And he doesn't look great out there, but I'm still interested.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
I am Are you interested because he was the second
overall pick? Are you interested because he was supposed to
be mentored by Aaron Rodgers? These are the things that
like this. This is his third year. Now we have
given other quarterbacks a much shorter leash in determining their
value and their future with the organizations. Zach Wilson has

(05:28):
now started twenty five games. It was played in twenty
five games in his NFL career. That's we're approaching a
season and a half on those numbers, and that is
enough for me to draw the conclusion. And it's not
even the number of games wantsie. It's the time within
the building. It's the time that he has done. It's

(05:49):
supposed to be this offseason or this preseason where he
took the preseason snaps a majority of until Aaron Rodgers
played a couple of snaps in the preseason game against
the Giants, but it was all Zach Wilson. And now
when you get an opportunity to take over in the
first quarter, to play against Dallas, to play against New England,
I know those are tough defenses, but I think that

(06:11):
the jury has reached its verdict and it said Zach
Wilson is not the quarterback, and that's not even a
hot take. And that's why I just wonder, like, then,
why do we still care if the guy that we
cared about is laid up in a bed in Malibu
because of his achille surgery. Why are we still talking
about the New York Jets. I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
So you make an excellent point that we have definitely
given a shorter leash to other quarterbacks. But I actually
think because of the entire story coming into the season
about Aaron Rodgers and the Jets and then losing Aaron Rodgers,
I'm still interested in what the Jets are going to
do without him, and I'm interested to see how Zach

(06:48):
Wilson can maybe come out of it now.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Don't you know? Don't you know though, Like, don't you
know how it's gonna end? Like you're just hoping for
a happy ending of the Zach Wilson era in this turnaround,
that's all that you're hoping for, But in reality, it's
just not It's that's not reality based.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
So why does it? Why does it have to be?

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Why can't this be a Cinderella story that I'm rooting
for I hear everything you're saying, and everything you're saying
is really logical, but maybe I just don't want to
think of.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
This in a logical way.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Like there's other stories, but this one, I'm just intrigued
by it.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Like you.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
You spent I don't know how many months with Aaron Rodgers,
and I thought I really thought that Zach Wilson was
gonna come out and play, especially after pulling out Week
one and winning that game. I really thought he was
gonna come out and just be a good manager of
the game. Like it's like, you don't need to be
a star, you just need to be able to manage
the game and help your team win.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
You know, you have a good defense.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
And so maybe it's like all the hate he's getting
that it's like I am still rooting for him.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
I don't care that I maybe already know the answer.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Maybe you're Robert Sala, like that's the that's the point.
And because and it's now it's starting to divide the
locker room, just like it's dividing this show. There are
reports that players don't want Zach Wilson as their quarterback
and and this is this is actually part of the problem.
And I think that I think that Robert sala is

(08:20):
sticking with Zach Wilson because there are people like me
and other people are saying this thing's done with, this
thing's over with, and I just don't think that that's
good business in the National Football League. I mean, there's
Trevor Simeon was brought in this week and he's not
even the backup. Tim Boyle's there as well, and there
are people who fully believe Trevor Simeon will take first

(08:41):
team snaps at some point this season. And Trevor Simeon
wasn't even good the last time he played. That's how
bad it's gotten with the Jets. Is maybe a romanticized on,
you know, a couple of good games Trevor Simeon had,
but it's also the fact of that things are so
bad with New York that you would still rather start
a guy who was just brought in during Week four

(09:02):
of the season than to have the guy who was
the second overall pick and has been with the organization
for three years.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
You just said it.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
We're barely going into week four, so what are the
Jets supposed to do? You can't just bring in a
quarterback to learn an offense. I mean, I've never had to,
but that sounds difficult. That sounds like you can't just
do it overnight. So there weren't other options. What else
is Robert.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
Salaz supposed to do except instill.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Positivity into Zach Wilson like that. He has to do that.
It's we're approaching week four. He may be changing his tune.
Like you said, there are stories that the locker room
is not happy. Understandably, I get that, but what are
what were the Jets supposed to do the last two weeks?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Yeah, they didn't have any other.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
There was no other option, and so you have to
stay positive and you have to be that guy.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
I just I think there's still a story because of
Aaron Rodgers, which is crazy because you and I did
a bunch of shows during the summer. In sitting here
in the studio, I proclaimed that the Green Bay Packers
were actually going to be America's team this year. And
the reason why I said that is not because I
thought everybody would like the Packers, but I thought you

(10:07):
had this clear divide of Aaron Rodgers against his former team.
The Packers played tonight against the Detroit Lions in a
big NFC North Divisional game, even though it's only Week four,
and I don't think people care one bit. I don't
think people are tracking Jordan love I don't. I mean
Jordan Lovin a great comeback win against the Saints. I
did not see that those waves take place nationally across

(10:30):
the landscape. And it's because there was no Aaron Rodgers
to go up against like I thought you would have
this Belichick, Brady Brady's in Tampa. How are the Patriots
doing comparison throughout the year with the Jets and Packers
now that Rogers has gone, I think that the Packers
on a national scare scale have kind of Beny raced,
which makes me then wonder, why the heck are we

(10:50):
still talking about the New York Jets if he's also
not the quarterback of the actual team that he's on
right now. And that's where it's just the Rogers injuries
was so decimated to the Jets, but we've completely forgotten
about the Green Bay Packers. But for some reason, we
think that Zach Wilson is going to turn things around,
and we continue there to talk about It just doesn't
make any sense to me.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
I really never thought that the Packers and the Jets
were gonna be like a Bill Belichick, Tom Brady.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't think that.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
I don't think people thought that, just because I don't
think people knew exactly what Jordan Love was. We knew
Bill Belichick and we knew what Tom Brady were and
I think that that was a little different.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
You bring that up, and it is interesting that maybe you.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Were onto something and now the Packers aren't getting the
attention that maybe they would have if Aaron Rodgers was
still healthy. But because of all of the anticipation coming
into the season and we're only going into week four,
I think that's why we're still talking about Zach Wilson.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
I mean, come week ten, maybe we're not and you're
gonna be, like I wish we were talking still.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
About Jack Wilson, Trevor Simeon, it'll be starting there. That's why.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah, right, So it's it's still early on and I
think that's why it is. And I get hopeless romantic
me and Robert sala over here.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
I'm sorry. A team puts seventy points on another team
well four or five days ago, and like and by
the way, that team that puts seventy has an enormous
game this Sunday against Buffalo. Yeah, and we're still talking
about the New York Jets and they're ten points they
scored against the Patriots.

Speaker 7 (12:16):
Well.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Also, I think it's just the comments that have been
recently made, you know, and Aaron Rodgers addressing the comments.
I think that's why we're still talking about it, honestly.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
But I am I am roading for Zaq Wilson, not
the Jets. I am rooting for Zaq Wilson.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Get her a jersey, No, I want a jersey.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
No, no, no, you get me your shirt though you all
wear a shirt. I woar a Zach.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Wilson's shirt, Jets T shirt jer Z.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
Yeah, but I need Yeah, that's I would hear.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
That.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Is that what they're called? I'm sure. Yeah, I've had
one or two of those.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
I mean I can't wear a real jersey.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
No.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
I'm a big Joe Burrow fan.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
And my friend from Cincinnati who I play volleyball with,
he almost bought me.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
A jersey and I was so glad he didn't. He
bought me like a Joe Burrow shirt and I was like, yes.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
I can't wear a Bengals Jersey can't do that, but
I'll wear a Joe Burrowscher.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I didn't know you were friends with the Less Nestmen?
Is that you? Did you know that? John? Did you
know that she's friends with the Less Nest Man? No?

Speaker 6 (13:10):
I didn't. But that's a good friend to have.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Yeah, Yeah, Isaac knows he's a Buckeye Award winner, wasn't he.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
I'm looking up into the sky for flying Turkey Thanksgiving promo.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
This can be categorized in the section of things that

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio. I'm Dan Byer, that's
Monty Bolanos. Isaac Lohencrown here with us in a bit
to give us the latest of what's happening on this Thursday.
Jason Stewart's here, so is John Ramos. All right, Manzi's
feeling her groove.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
I love this song. I haven't heard it in forever.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Who is it? Oh?

Speaker 5 (14:15):
And I'm assuming this is about Zack Wilson and the Jets.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Well, it could be that. It could also be. You
mentioned about the happy ending for Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
And John's ears perk up when we talk about happy endings,
and so that's why I pulled up this song.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
My brain is moving at one hundred miles an hour
when it comes to music.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
So I was gonna say something and I'm not.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Guys, so you were hoping for a happy ending for
Zack Wilson and the Jets. Correct, that's just not gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Well, maybe come on, not gonna happen?

Speaker 7 (14:44):
Come on?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey have a happy ending
in their relationship? One person ESPN anchor l Duncan said
on our podcast, she thinks that this is all a stunt.
I am listen, I don't I don't love this relationship
talk that has somehow taken over the entire world, but

(15:07):
it is there. Jason is up in arms on who
leaked the news last night that what she was going
to attend the game on Sunday.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
That's that's yeah, what Jordan Schultz had at first, Okay,
that she's going to be attending the game on Sunday,
And my mind automatically went to where did he get
this information? Who's feeding him the information to leak? And
then it gets into how genuine is this thing? And
it kind of feeds into what's her name?

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Elle Ye?

Speaker 7 (15:37):
I mean, I've kind of said fraud from the very beginning,
but I mean, just that kind of stuff just kind
of feeds into my theory on.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
That she was taking the body language of the video
that Jarrett Payton took of Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift
walking by in the in the tunnels of Arrowhead Stadium
is the reason why she did not think that there
was any chemistry between the two and feel that this
is a fake relationship, this is a full relationship.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
That is so dumb. This is so stupid.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
First of all, just because they weren't holding hands in
that five second video, you saw you are coming to
the conclusion that there's no chemistry there.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Okay, that's stupid.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
I don't like that.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Also, what what is Taylor Swift getting out of faking
this relationship?

Speaker 5 (16:22):
Absolutely nothing.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
As I went around asking everyone I could in here,
who's more famous, Lebron James or Taylor Swift, Almost everybody
said Taylor Swift.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Taylor Swift right now is the moment. She is everything.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
She does not need anything that Travis Kelce can bring
to the table or the NFL. If anything, she's helping
the NFL. And her history, Like the one thing people
like attack her on is that she's dated a lot
of guys, but she's not married, has no kids, and
then she writes songs about it. Why would she fake
a relationship and then write a song about it? That

(16:57):
makes no sense. There is no reason she would be
Are they going to be together forever?

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Probably not. They're probably just hanging out and having a
good time and going on dates.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
You yeah, you know you are onto something because sometimes
there may be stuff that has publicity stunts for someone
who needs a push. Yeah, someone who needs to step up,
as you said right now, of where her level is
and where that tour went. I mean there's a movie
coming out, right, Yes, you go.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Watch it's probably sold out. Yes, I'll probably go watch
it again.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Yeah, it's so like that. There is something to that
of does Taylor Swift really need this? I will say
there is, and I think that we've all been there.
There is nothing hotter and more romantic than the tunnel
of a football stadium. So why they weren't all over
each other making out right in front of the elevator
that goes up to the suites where you drop off

(17:48):
the food to the suites. I have no idea, but yeah,
it's also awkward when there's everybody standing and you're making
your way through right exactly.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
They know they're being watched. Everything they're going to do,
somebody is watching. That video was seven seconds long. You
barely saw them. They turn a corner. Yeah, they weren't
holding hands. Okay, they also walked out together. Would you
have said, oh, they didn't leave together.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
They left separately, Like they can't win, They can't win again.
Are they gonna be together forever? I don't think so.
It'd be great if they are. I just think that
they're having a.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Good time and they're dating one of the things that
was brought up. And I do believe El Duncan made
this point of how quickly this has all happened, And
I know other people made the point of would you
be in the suite with you know, your significant other's
mother immediately? Like this, This does seem to be it

(18:41):
does seem to be pretty quick. For how long? How
quickly you would go to meet your parents?

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Meat I mean, I mean, I mean it's a LaCOSA
You and I as normal people. Sure they're not normal
people like Taylor Swifts could go online and find out
the things that you find out when you first meet somebody.
What's your favorite color? What do you like to do?
They're past that even though they may have never met online.
I could do a quick search and get an idea

(19:09):
of the type of person that Taylor is and Travis
kelce is so like they're already on date ten even
though it's date one.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
But I think it is fair to say, like who
benefits more from this? And your point about Taylor Swift,
it may be real for her, it's the Travis Kelcey
portion of it, because he is getting the bump, Like
there is a bump to Travis kelce which, by the way,
he doesn't have anything to lose. He's a two time
Super Bowl champ coming off of a season where they're

(19:41):
trying to go back to back, but there's not a
lot at stake when it comes to his future and reputation. Yeah,
so if she's saying that it's a stunt, it doesn't
mean that both PR departments have gotten together. It may
be a stunt just from Travis kelce side of things.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
I hope not, because if then that comes out that sucks.
I hope not. I really think.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
I just they're both famous people, they're both attractive, and
maybe initially it was a joke that Travis kelcey wanted
to hand her his friendship bracelet with his number on it,
you know, and then she was like, oh, did you
hear this guy said this? And all of a sudden
they started talking. This is what happens when you're famous.
You get to all of a sudden talk to another
famous person like you've been friends forever.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
That just happens.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
And maybe it didn't, and maybe it was all a joke,
and then they were like, oh, no you are yeah,
you're cute.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Yeah, no, let's hang out. Let's see if this is
something we can do for a couple of days.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Something just you struck a struck a chord, a light
bulb in my head that went off that I can see. Yeah, no,
thank you. I do appreciate it because they aren't like us,
and I do think that relationships are different. This may
start quickly, but it can also just end quickly. And
I think that, you know, and I'm completely sick of

(20:59):
the story. I'm so over it. But but there is
the point of where I think like there has to
be an endgame for it instead of let's just have
some fun for a couple of months.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
I'm making it very light on the situation of just
having some fun. Obviously there has to be an end
to it. But I'm saying right now they're probably just
getting to know each other. And she's on her a
break I think from her tour, because she's still on tour,
but I think she's gonna head internationally now she's.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
On a little break, and so she's like, let's let's
see if there is something here.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Let's see if we're more than just two attractive people together.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
John Ramos, Yeah, I do think wants to write about
the famous part because I would drop off tons of
friendship bracelets in high school and college to girls and
they never talk to me after that. Again, so that's party.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
Yes, it's different. Yes, it's different for us normal people.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Are you talking about ninety one Ramos? You like nine ramos?

Speaker 6 (21:57):
This was a little earlier than that.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Time sheets then in classrooms, so this hap to be
like ninety Ramos.

Speaker 6 (22:05):
This is ninety yes somewhere in there. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
I couldn't walk around the University of Laverne without without
the ladies being drawn to them. All right, John, I
just look at look. I don't think they're going to
get married. I actually just now that you say it,
she wants to dip her toe into the NFL waters.
He wants to get a little taste of that fame.

(22:30):
Maybe I'm using really really bad phrasing and talking about
this relationship. But it doesn't have to be anything big.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
It doesn't, and it also doesn't have to be fake.
Why can't they it's just because of how big she is,
who he is.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Super Bowl champion.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Like everyone's dissecting this and trying to tear it apart,
whether it's good or bad, and it's like, guys, just
let them hang out, let.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
Them date whatever. Why are we phyxiated on it? I
know Aline because she's the biggest pop star ever.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
But I think part of that, part of what comes
with that relationship is all of this is showing up
at games in suites in New York in being like
if they're dating, she's not like I'm just gonna stay
home and watch the game because I don't want to. No,
that's not that's it's part of the deal, right, Like,
like part of the deal is her attending these things.

(23:26):
It's not like I'll wait till week nine. Like the
fun of it for her is to be, Oh, I'm
dating a player and I get to go and sit
in the suite and have fun and and you know,
beyond TV and that stuff like yeah, like you wouldn't
You wouldn't just sit at home if you were reading
the right.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
And also again like she's on her break, I feel
like this is why she's there right now because she can't.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
And it's like she couldn't have gone anywhere else. If
she was sitting anywhere.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
In that stadium, somebody was gonna find her, So might
as well be in a suite. If she was sitting anywhere,
somebody would have been like, this is Taylor Swift, she's here?

Speaker 5 (24:04):
Is that you know?

Speaker 7 (24:05):
Yeah, so monster, your opinion is that they're both of
them have genuine intentions and they're just having fun.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I think they genuinely like each other and they're trying
to see if is it more than just like you know,
I genuinely think that.

Speaker 8 (24:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I disagree with that, but that's no big deal.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
But well, you know you're wrong.

Speaker 7 (24:23):
I don't know if well, I don't know if either
of us will ever to be proven right on us,
but but I do I do find this interesting that
that story that we read today from the ESPN anchor uh,
that kind of stuff is something I read, like as
I'm buying groceries and I look over at all the
tabloid magazines and it's on the on the front, like

(24:44):
how far is Travis Kelsey gotten? Like and and to
me what annoys me about just my day to day processes.
It has seeped into into my workplace, the tabloidish lifestyle
thing that I typically can just ignore, but I'm forced
to read now because I don't want to be the
guy that misses out on the fact that Travis Kelcey

(25:06):
has gotten the third base with Taylor Swift or with
what I heard it, And that's what kind of annoys
me personally about this.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
And I understand that I completely one hundred percent. If
anyone told me I'm annoyed by this story, I don't care.
I get it once I understand obviously I care.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
I love Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
I don't care about Travis Kelcey necessarily, but I don't
dislike the guy. I another reason, sorry, light bulb, another
reason why I don't think this is a fake or
pr relationship. Apparently Travis Kelce's ex has said some stuff
on social media that is like attacking Taylor, and so
it's like, all right, you're jealous of Taylor Swift and
you're getting involved. All of that to me does not

(25:45):
make it seem like it's a publicity stunt.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Do you think Taylor Swift know? Again, this is just
a question. Do you think she knows football and stuff?
You think she just enjoys like the atmosphere, like when
she was banging again, it was all about just him
in that moment. You think she understands, like what's going
on out there?

Speaker 9 (26:02):
She's bang in the glass, right, John, Yeah, that's what
you're talking about. Yeah, yeah, what did I say? No,
you just said she was banging. I just wanted to
put some context. I bet she was, yeah, hitting the glass.
I'm sorry, Yeah, I feel it. Not that she has to,
that's my boy.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
It is just do you think she she knows football
and she's into football, and therefore she knows that type
of im He's obviously she's obviously into her music, so he.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Knows right right.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
I am gonna guess that she is a fan of
football a little bit just in general. You know, she
knows that you have four chances to move ten yards.
Maybe that's as far as she knows. But you like sports,
and I think she likes you know, sports, and is
like having a good time and they.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Get their rocks off on the same thing. Like she's
like trying to she's excited to see her man get
in the end zone and score a touchdown, and just
like he would be excited to see her walk out
on stage.

Speaker 6 (26:56):
Yeah, And like there's vallid points, the.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Confidence, you know, the you know you know it, and
this is with anybody, like it's so attractive to see
somebody do what they do at a high level. And
so you're brought in You're like, oh wow, that is amazing,
And that's where I think that is. Yeah, yes, but
it's also like I would bet if you gave a
roster of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelcey is not

(27:20):
the hottest guy in the Chiefs, Okay, I would. I
would almost guarantee it, Like there's no way I'm Team Paco.
Like I think that there are other probably better looking
guys on the team, but nobody's Travis Kelcey. And that's
the thing about it as well, is it's not like

(27:41):
she's dating the long snapper or the you know, the
safety and the dime package, you know, like you know
the other dB. It's it's Travis Kelcey. And because of
who he is and because of who she is, and
that's brought them together. And that's why I just don't
think that it's like I think they're just having fun
and it's just going to go away at some point.

(28:01):
But to say that it's fake, I don't know. I've
heard of fake relationships out of necessity, they're out of
publicity and they go actually go on longer than people
probably realize. But I don't think that it's entirely the case.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
And it's always to push something right, it's to push
something she doesn't need to push.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
For her tour. The Kansas City Chiefs just want a
super Bowl. They don't need that.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
If anything, in the NFL is the one that's getting
something out of this.

Speaker 5 (28:26):
And the last thing I'll.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Say is it is quite interesting because Travis Kelce looks
nothing like the men she's dated.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
All of the men she's dated are like very artistic,
very slim.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
I would say, simple, even though or sometimes not simple
because Harry Styles is a little bit of a fun
cuckoo bird there.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
Travis Kelce is like like a lumber jack, you know
what I mean. Like he's like a big man.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
And so it's just like different than who she's dated
in the past that we know of, that we know of.
She maybe has other, you know, men that she's dated
that we don't know about.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Michale tweets in just stop with the Taylor Swift talk.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
Please never never.

Speaker 8 (29:04):
Be sure to catch the live edition of The Doug
Gottlieb Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio. That's Monty Belano. So
I'm Dan Beyer sitting in for a Doug Today on
this Thursday. Today's show's brought to you by Discover. At
the end of your first year, they automatically double all
the cash back you've earned. That's right, everything you wear double.
The cash back from trips, restaurants all doubled. Seriously though,
see terms. Check it out for yourself at discovered dot com.

(29:32):
Slash match. It's twelve forty nine here in southern California
means it's three forty nine on the East Coast. It
also means it's time to play a game.

Speaker 8 (29:43):
This is game Time, Game Shah. On the Doug Gottlieb Show.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
It is two forty nine. They changed the name to
the Central Time Zone and it is now the Dane
Time Zone after Amane Lillard dealt to the Bucks yesterday.
We'll get to that in about ten minutes or so.
A little bit more. Isaac Longcron, what's going on.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
We're gonna have some cold responses to this particular one.

Speaker 8 (30:07):
I feel a draft.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
The quintet will now draft the teams. We do not
want to win a World Series, so it doesn't necessarily
have to be a team that's in contention this year
it can just be in general the teams we do
not want to win a World Series.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
That stipulation was not included. So I know Isaac has
a team that he definitely doesn't want to win a
world title, but they are out of the playoff. Picks
are right now.

Speaker 7 (30:36):
Just behind the scenes, just a little bit behind the
scenes here, Isaac was like, hey, that's a good idea.
When I told him about this, and he's like, why
don't we just do all sports? What teams? Don't you
want to win a championship? Like, no, let's just let's
stick to baseball, And then he goes on the air
and he makes that stipulation.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
In the middle. That is what he did. Yeah, it's compromise.
We all could learn from that.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Yes, it was in in one point funt in the
fine print. So here we go. No worries about trading
up this time. We're going to start with Monsey. Jason
Stuart will get the second pick, Dan Byer third, John
Ramos fourth, and then lowenkron is fifth here with the
number one pick. Teams we don't want to win a
World Series Monsey Bolognos.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
Oh, you know, guys, this is a real tough one.
Not the Astros.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Next, next, Oh, the Astros are bored? Did you have
your jersey already printed that you could bring to the
draft and said, Astros zero, World titles.

Speaker 7 (31:34):
Zero, Jason Stewart, I want to know what's the leading
reason why you do not want them to win?

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Obviously twenty seventeen is a big part of it, a
big part of it.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
But then they still keep doing stupid things, even last night.

Speaker 7 (31:50):
Even last night, and they're so darn good. That's a
problem too, right, They've been so good the last eight
years that that seeps into this conversation.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Totally, because if they sucked, it'd be a little different.

Speaker 7 (32:04):
Because I have to and I can't Tuesda the Astros.
I'll pick the team that I think is gonna win
the World Series. That's the problem. But I don't want
the Braves to win just because I have a feeling
they're gonna have to beat They're gonna beat the Dodgers
to win the World Series. So I'm gonna say the Braves.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
Has anybody taken the Savanna bananas.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
Free as a bird? For number three?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
They go on the road now, they're right that I
think they are like the Traveling Show, like theirlem globetrotters.
I know this is gonna hurt the years of many
in here, the Elie Dodgers. Yeah, because you're always in
the playoffs. Know, it's a better story when you just
continue to not win. So it is a much better story. Listen, listen.

(32:49):
I was gonna pick the Cubs, but they will find
a way to not win anyway. So just like they
have this this past week, give me the Dodgers.

Speaker 7 (32:57):
Something to that, Dan, because I there's a part of
me that understands that as a Dodger fan. And every
year that Friedman doesn't win a World Series that wasn't
that kind of freak Covid year, I think his his uh,
he's got a little taint on his legacy, you know.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Yes, And now I've also risked John Ramos being mad
at me for the rest of this show.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
I don't think he've risked it. I think he is.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
Why would I be mad?

Speaker 7 (33:23):
Now?

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Is this contenders?

Speaker 2 (33:26):
I literally get here, I know, I'm very obvious. So mad?

Speaker 6 (33:31):
Is this contenders or just anybody in general base?

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Apparently?

Speaker 4 (33:33):
Anybody say the Milwaukee No, I'm I am joking.

Speaker 6 (33:39):
Do you like the Brewers? How about the team that
just botched Baseball one hundred the La Angels. I mean,
talk about running a team into the ground in one season,
they did it this year. So no, no World Series Championship, championship,
which I don't think they're going to get ever again,
but none for you, my friends.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Fine, I'm sad they're gonna go with the Baltimore Orioles.
This pains me because there's there's such a great story,
they have such a great fan base and tradition in
that city. I just can't get over their ownership and
the Kevin Brown suspension earlier this year. I mean that
kind of told me all I need to know about
what's really going on behind the scenes there. So if

(34:20):
they ever sell the team, I'd be happy for them
to win it. But I'm actually gonna go with the
Baltimore Ros.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
That was out of left field. That's rude, Yes, so
I was.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
I'm the rude one around here when when Dan doesn't
want the.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Dodgers to win, I literally have put my friendship with
John Ramos and peril. However, I think I've probably strengthened
it with Jason Stewart, so there's there's at least that
part of it that's game.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
That's game.

Speaker 8 (34:45):
This is game time on the Doug Gottlieb Show.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
That's Monsei. I'm Dan in for Doug Gottlieb today. We
joked at it's dametime now in the Midwest. It sure
is in Milwaukee, but what has this trade done for
Damian Lillard himself? We'd talk about it next
