fs are you're listening to Fox Sports Radio Doug Gotlip Show,

(00:27):
Fox Sports Radio. I hope you guys are having a
great Uh can't. I hope you guys having a great day.
Just great day. I'm sitting here, and I mean sports
utopia right wherever you are. October is generally the best
weather month of the year. It just is. It's amazing. Plus,

(00:48):
you got NFL football, college football, college basketball is kicking off.
I was actually just texting a friend about about something
coming up. NBA basketball tipped off last night, and you
got Official League Baseball playoffs, which you know included all
the best teams, not name the Padres. Just kidding. That's

(01:09):
because Daniel Jeremiah joins us on the Doug Gallup Show
on Fox Sports Radio. What do you think that anything?
Last night? You besure being I was driving in the car,
I was listening to the radio broadcast and they get
two runners on and I'm sitting there going this, this
joker who has not done anything all year long is
gonna hit a three run home run? Like this is

(01:30):
this is gonna happen. And I mean it was just
like it was clear as day that was going to happen.
And and even on the radio call, they're like, he
expect the high fastball here. I mean, I hasn't caught
up to a high fastball the whole season, hasn't got
up to a high fastball in two years. That's that's
the time. That's the time he gets around on a
high fastball. And so, um, yeah, I don't know if

(01:51):
it's harder being a Podre fan or a Dodger hater
that both roles are really difficult. Um, how old are
you DJ? I'm three, Okay, so you're old enough. Um
do you remember where you were when Gibby hit then run? Um?
I don't remember. I remember the whole run obviously. Um
I don't remember. I know which house I was, and
I don't remember what was you know what I was doing?

(02:13):
Multiple multiple house? House? Did you guys have? Like? What
was going on? House? I was I was in the
senior year of high school. Okay, well it wasn't high school.
It was a nice you're a little kid because because
I was Miles Simon, who of course is assistant with
the Lakers and was a star player at Arizona and
played in the NBA. So I was at Miles Simon's

(02:36):
late mother's house and we were both big Mets fans
back in the day. And we're watching the game, and um,
I had tickets to Game two. Kid named Carl Doutcher
was our teammate on our AU team, and they had
they went to Game one. He gave us tickets to
Game two. Anyway, Game one we're watching and you know,

(02:58):
Gibby comes limping up to the plate and Miles turned
and he had a feeble swing at one point in time,
and Miles like, Betty hits one out. I was like,
se can't even walk and he hit one out even walk.
So I've said, I've seen I know people who have
called those big ones before let's get to let's get
to some football stuff. There's a John McCain who's he's

(03:19):
covered at McClean who's covered the Houston Texans forever since
really they were created and covered the the oilers before that. Um.
His story is that there's expectations Deshaun Watson will be
moved to the Dolphins this week. All right, let's let's
start with the Dolphins. UM, I didn't see the wild
last year from Tua. It doesn't appear to have gotten

(03:42):
better this year. But I don't watch film the way
that you watch film. Give me your assessment of of
two A tongue of Ioloa a year and a half
into his career. I thought watching this game against Jacksonville
was about as good as I've seen it. I thought
he was looked like he had a little bit of
his twitch back, a little bit of his urgency, the

(04:02):
things that you know I liked about him coming out.
I thought you saw some of that. Now. He just
doesn't have a huge arm. He's not gonna make those
wild plays the reference to give you those wild moments. Um.
But I thought that was the best version of NFL
to A as good as the version as we've seen
the other day. So that's why that took me a
little bit off guard that this was you know that
this is gonna go down right now. I know they

(04:23):
were very much in on Sean and I thought that
would you know, could be likely to happen once we
got to the season. Um, but clearly to me, this
is John McLane. Doesn't say anything unless he's locked in.
He's as respected as it gets. So I believe that
it U you know, this thing could be going down. Honestly,
I don't. I don't like the timing of it for
either team. I don't like the timing of it for Houston.

(04:44):
Uh quite frankly, I just I think you wait until
you get to the off season. Um. I think that's
when you're going to maximize the value of what you
can get and it will be fixed in terms of
knowing where these teams are picking. There's nothing fixed right now. Um,
well where the six are going to be? I agree,
let's let's see one if it gets consummated, to what
it looks like when it gets consummated. I but the

(05:06):
thing that I think is crazy that it destroys the
Dolphins season this year, right like your toa you're out.
You know you're out, whether you're out this year or not. Yeah, yeah,
I mean, I don't know. It's it's it's weird. It's
a weird time in committity. How does the league handle
how does the league handle that? And how does the
league handle that? Where you're he's you know, has these
civil charges against civil civil suits against him and and

(05:32):
has the league? Is the team decision though, right? I
mean for with him not playing right now? Is a
team decision? I don't think that it's a league decision, correct, Like,
do you think they can really tell him out there? No,
That's what I'm wondering, Like, you know, are they are
they comfortable if you're comfortable making that trade? I don't
know if you're gonna are they gonna sit and wait

(05:53):
for all this to get to its completion before they
put it out in the field. I don't know. I mean,
it's um the that's that's information I don't have. But
one of the things, Um, I'm just looking at this
at this next offseason, Doug and we came up with
legitimately probably ten teams that could be changing quarterbacks next year,
and spoiler alert, there aren't ten quality options to fill

(06:16):
those those seats. So you have, if everything gets cleared
up with the Shawn Watson, you have the ultimate ultimate
lottery ticket to cash in if you are going to
trade him. Baker Mayfield is not going to play tomorrow night.
But how much of it, Like, look, they're completely banged up,
no offensive tackles, no Jarvis Landry. But um, you know

(06:39):
this is this is a year in which he's trying
to make a case for a big contract. How's he
actually played. He's been fine. I mean I don't think
there's you know, I thought there was a little bit
of drop off after the after the shoulder, but he's
I think he's pretty well established with who he is.
You know, he's a solid, solid player who's a you know,

(07:00):
my opinion, probably like a you know, thirteen to sixteen
quarterback in that range. So if you have the rest
of your team loaded up, you can you can go
on a run, you probably win a championship. But they
are so beat up, um, and then you know, obviously
with him being not as good with the injury that

(07:20):
he's dealing with, it's it's it's it's difficult. I don't
I agree with some of the sentiments of sentiments out
there though about how I don't think you can pay
him what he's going to want because you're not a
QB centric team. And if you're not a QB centric team,
you need all the other pieces to be in place,
and once you pay that play that money out, you're
not gonna be able to have all those pieces in
place for a long period of time. So it's going

(07:42):
to be a fascinating contract, the negotiation with those two. Um,
you got a chance to see Dan Jeremiah joining us
move the six of the podcast. You can see it
on NFL Networking and download it with Bucky Brooks. Of course,
he's also the radio analyst for the l A Chargers.
Chargers kind of beat down at the hands of the
Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore. I chant see Lamar in person. Okay,

(08:04):
So the discussion we had last yesterday was like, I'm
not gonna go crazy, go Lamar is an elite passer.
He's arguably, maybe even in arguably the greatest running quarterback
of all time, and he's become a good enough passer
where you have to like, there's things that he's doing
better now, but like he's not Rogers, Mahomes or Brady

(08:27):
or you know one of the one of those guys,
right like Russell Wilson throwing the football. Is that a
Is that a fair perspective on it? Considering how much
you've studied, what you've seen in person. Well, I think
he's he has gotten better, he's improved. I think um
as a thrower, he's always been a you know, a
great quarterback because of everything that goes into it and

(08:48):
defending him as a player, and the running is a
big part of that. The extending plays. I saw close
this last week. He had to you know, two picks,
one of which wasn't his fault, but one which is
a really really bad read. Um, But he didn't Outside
of that, I don't think he really missed many throws.
And he's done a better job of realizing teams are
scared to rush him, so he can afford to sit

(09:11):
back there and be patient. And like there's instances where
in the past I think he might try and fit
balls in the in the first window and you'll see
arrant throws and you might see you know, an interception
or kind of get away from you. And then now
he's realizing, you know, I'm in no hurry. I can
wait till he gets to the second or the third window,
because everybody's scared to death try and rush me because

(09:33):
they know I can take off and run. So He's
done a nice job of kind of slowing himself down, um,
which has led to more accuracy. So I definitely have
seen improvement from him from from year one to where
he is now as a passer. And it's just a
unique it's a unique experience to watch those games because
you literally see fear in a pass rush, which is bizarre.

(09:53):
What happened to the Chargers, Well, I mean, like you
can say they're flat, which is totally accurate that he now,
they didn't have any energy. I think it's the wrong
team to play when you're missing two starting linebackers and
the starting defensive tackle. So those are issues. But I
even coming into that game, I thought, okay that the
Ravens might run the ball down their throats. That wasn't
a surprise. I was shocked at offensively, Um, they were

(10:16):
as incapable as they were justin probably you know, you
make a case that was his worst game, that game
or the New England game last year of his career.
Miss some throws, timing was off, Mike Williams didn't practice.
They just they weren't on the same page and they
had some opportunities for some reason. Um, he won it
at Marlon Humphrey a number of times, who I think
is really the only good cover guy they have in

(10:37):
the secondary right now for the Ravens. So we just
totally out of whackfully out of sync. But in the
seventeen game stretch, you're gonna have a couple of clunkers.
Um and that was a clunker in all three phases.
The Dallas thing with Mike McCarthy and managing a game,
I just feel like it hasn't bitten them yet, but

(10:58):
it's gonna and it's probably gonna end big spot, Like,
is this how do you fix that? How do you
fix the fact that here's the guy, he's not the
o C is not, the DCS not call him plays,
and yet he can't seem to manage a game properly. Well,
the good news is as an organization you can. You
can give him help. You know, so that to me
at some point in time and say, Okay, he's not

(11:19):
he hasn't figured us out. Let's stop waiting for him
to figure it out. Let's get somebody in that role
who is an expert in that field, put him up
in the box, put him on a headset, and let
him make those decisions. I mean that seems like it
would be a pretty easy solve to fix all this stuff.
I would I would think they're super talented team. I
mean really really talent, explosive, dynamic. Yeah, they are really good.

(11:44):
I'll stick by what I said though last week when
we talked if healthy and man are they not? I
still think the Cleveland Browns are the most talented fifty
three man roster in the NFL. It's crazy considering how
banged up they are. I mean, they might have their
they might be down their starting quarterback, their top two
running backs, their top two receivers, their top two tackles,

(12:05):
and not to mention the defense adventures. Outside of that,
Mrs Lincoln, how is the show? Yeah? No, that's that's brutal,
absolutely positively brutal. What do you make of the Raiders
playing so well last week? I picked them to win.
I mean I thought, you know, even around sports forever,
how many times have you seen it? The teams kind

(12:26):
of they rallied together, and they draw close in in
turbulent times and it's kind of us against the world mentality,
And they were so flat and so off the week
before with all that stuff swirling. I think just having
some finality to it, I think, uh, I think that
was good for them, and now we'll see if they

(12:46):
can keep it rolling going forward. But I wasn't surprised
to see them come out and play really well last
week stug Otlib Show here on Fox Sports Radio. Daniel
Jeremiah is our guest Move the Sticks podcast. Go see
him Eliott on the NFL Network, and of course he's
the radio analyst for the Chargers games. Have you. I
know it's really in terms of quarterback stuff in college,

(13:09):
but what do you make of Spencer Rattler losing his
job at Oklahoma? Well, I mean it's not really a
huge surprise to me. I mean I watched him over
the summer and I didn't think he was in the
same class as those other Ou quarterbacks they've had the
last three that they've had going to the NFL um
so I thought he was still very much a project
who was very raw. And then I hadn't seen this

(13:31):
kid that came in there. I didn't know much about him,
you know, coming out of out of high school. But
I know, like Jim Donnan, who's a former coach at
George's as a friend of mine, and he had some
connection to him or had seen him throw um and
uh he He texted me and said, way do you
see this kid at Oklahoma brought in? How good he is? Like,
he's incredible? Um And sure enough you know that guy

(13:53):
got on the field. That was a rap. I mean,
un unbelievable, unbelievable. I off week, off week, no game
for you this week. Oh it's glorious. It's glorious. But
by the way, you asked me earlier about so I
remember where I was with the Dodgers moment. No, But
I can tell you my earliest sports moment where I

(14:15):
remember exactly where I was. I was ten years old.
It was seven when Keith Smart hit the jumper to
win the National's championship. I was on my I was
on a green couch with my brother. My parents were
not home, and me and my brother were jumping up
and down on the on the green couch when that
ball went to the hoop. The Hoosiers win a national championship.
That was in the Superdome. That was that was the

(14:37):
radio call to three seconds, two seconds one. The Hoosiers
have one national championship, and there's pandemonium here in Indiana's wonted.
I had a picture with the shot where you pushed
the button and it played that radio call in my room.
Derek Coleman Mrs free Throw front end of a one
in one, nineteen year old freshman d c and was
on that team. Ran cyly Sherman, Douglas eighteen, Stevie Thompson Yep, yep,

(15:03):
great stuff. Dude, thanks for joining us. All right, that's
Dana Jeremiah joining us. Be sure to catch the live
edition of The Doug Gottlip Show week days at three
p m. Easter noon Pacific. Dude A dude, ude, dude,

(15:25):
all right, stop what you're doing because I'm about to
ruin the image and the smile that you used to
I look funny, but you are making money. See how
was that? It really was? It really was? I've actually
thought it was the singer shot recently shot dresser Adder.

(15:54):
I would I would encourage you if you're a hip
hop fan, Okay, that's Digital Underground and um Underwater Rhymes
is the album. Obviously. Now you don't have to go
out and buy a whole album, but download that sucker
and listen to it. There is a freaks out. The
industry is one of the dirtiest, nastiest, best songs ever
recorded in rap or hip hop music. Um, Underwater Rhymes

(16:16):
is also really cool, really inventive, and uh, it's neat
and generally their stuff is feel good you know. Um so, yeah,
that's a sonic. And then came did You undergrad? Yes?
What I mean you know about this rapper. He was
a part of that group and he was a solo
guy too, because there's a there's a great documentary on

(16:38):
Tupac where he's featured throughout me. He's very very good
on on Tupac and well spoken about the whole rivalry
and stuff. Well, shock g um. I think he was
born in New York, but he he became he was
an Oakland rapper. Um so when he moved out to

(16:59):
Oakland and after I think he went to like junior
college or whatever, I forget what the so he he
kind of bridged both, yes, but he was definitely he
was Tupac wrapped on their stuff like Tupac was Oakland.
Tupac was part of He wasn't part of the Digital Underground,
but he was. Uh, he was on I Think to
Do What You Like album. So yeah, I mean he

(17:20):
obviously he was an interesting guy, really really really talented guy.
And um uh yeah he he died what in April,
I think of this year, April this year of a
of a drug overdose. So, but they were in a
they were in a movie. Do you remember the dan
ackroy movie Nothing but Trouble, Yeah, with John Candy and

(17:43):
um Chevy Chase, yem me more. Yes, terrible movie. It
was horrible, terrible. They were in that movie though, And
and they had the soundtrack to it, which was the
same song came from that All around the World, same song. Yeah.
And then there was also a no not his Job
one that was that they had no nose job was
a fun song too. They had mostly fun songs, mostly

(18:07):
fun you know. Anyway, it's funny that you bring up
that dan Ackroyd movie, Um, Chevy, that was a movie
made in the nineties. I want to say, chevy Chase
stopped being funny around what So it doesn't surprise me
that that was a bad movie. It was a bad movie.
You know what's funny is chevy Chase really not funny anymore,

(18:28):
really kind of uncomfortable, not funny. It seems very angry
now nobody likes him Nobody likes him. Literally, nobody likes me.
You look back, you're like, yeah, you know, all that's it.
Didn't don't like him. Yeah, Chevy Chase is kind of
sad and bitter, whereas Bill Murray is like America's guest.
Say Bill Murray and people start laughing. Like Bill Murray.

(18:50):
I love that guy. When it's all sudden done. Like.
Bill Murray's career has been fascinating. I mean, he was
the comedian that did S n L and then did
all the comedies in the eighties and then has found
this like niche as a like a Wes Anderson regular
doing the serious kind of straight comedy roles. Yeah. No,
he's he's an amazing He's one of those guys where

(19:13):
if you could do anything, what would you do? And
he's like, yes, it's there's a little you know, there's
a little like it's a little like um Darius Rucker,
you know who's a friend and Darius obviously they ruled
the world with Hooting the Blowfish. Then he actually did
an Our Our and B album, which is really good,
and then he went to Turn the Country and now

(19:34):
he's one of the biggest country artists in the world
and I think he's got one more show coming up.
I think he's in Tampa coming up before he heads
over to I think he's going too our friends. Huh,
you two are buddies. We got to put him on
the show. I've asked him. I said, let's let's talk
to him. We should have mom about the dolphins whatever.

(19:55):
But he come hop, come on, he's the best. He's
a sincere god guy. David just tweeted at me sex packets.
That's that's the that's the album with um uh, that's
the album with Freaks of the Industry. Anyway, let's get
to Dan Buyer, who is a huge Freaks of the
Industry fan. Dan, did you know I used to my

(20:15):
insiders in sports, we used to call them freaks of
the industry. A little double on Tundra. But not enough
people know that song. Have you ever heard that song?
Um no, I don't think so. Yeah, you have iTunes?
Can I send it to you and then you can
listen to it? I asked that you don't, but that's okay.
It's okay. Just send me a YouTube link so it's

(20:36):
not on my phone. It's bad. It's like being on
this group text. By the way, I wasn't on the
group text. It was somebody else at Fox. For the
longest time, I said, I'm fine with not being on
this Dodger group text. It is awesome actually to not
be on it. And Jason last night put me on it.
Not only did you put me on and he spelled
my name or on in one of the texts. That

(20:58):
was funny. That was awesome. That was funny. Oh, this
has become such a good, such a fun show. Sorry,
I just man, and it's been really good. And by
the way, I'm laughing at the joke and the damns
there not at the braves. I have to distinguish now
when I'm laughing. You know what I love about the

(21:18):
Dodger room that's across the way, Doug, is that they
are polar opposites, like like really, but they come together
with their frustrations, like I feel like Jason is glass
half empty and Johnice glass half full. But as the
game plays out, they just get closer and closer to
each other as as it happens, and it's it's it's actually,

(21:40):
you know, pretty pretty unique. I just tweeted this out
by or have you seen this video of the Chicago
sky victory parade. Oh boy, I did I saw one.
I saw and I went, I looked, and they were
there were other there there were other camera angles or
other places along the parade route where there were more
people in a ten dns but they may have been

(22:03):
in line for something like come on. There there were
other spots where there were four or five deep, maybe
down Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Listen again, My brother coaches
women's basketball now Grand Canyon. Okay, Molly Miller, who's their
talented coach. By the way, happy birth birthday to coach Miller.
She came on my podcast. She's fantastic, She's amazing. Okay,

(22:25):
those women, Um, I mean, I really think that Candice
Parker's re emergency star. It's a great story. So in
no way am I trying to fame like these are
those women are great players, the talent that that league
has gotten better and better. But like trying to tell
us that we care on an anywhere close to equal level,

(22:47):
Like I can't make people care about it. You know,
there's there's there's no metrics there that tell us you
should talk about w NBA basketball. So I mean, I
guess I think the problem is in professional sports. Collegian
sports is different, right, and professional sports. The leagues that

(23:09):
survive are the ones that make the most money, and
they make the most money because they're the most popular.
This one's been able to survive and and in many
ways thrive. But that is that was our that is
damning video. That is like yea. Then then the question
Dug I would ask, is how do you make it grow?

(23:30):
Because it then it sounds like a bit of a
chicken and the eggs sort of can't you can't listen.
I'm just gonna tell people the honest to guys, this
is like the G League conversation. People won't watch minor
league sports. They don't. It doesn't matter that the G
League has better talent than college basketball. Why is that.
It's because the branding on the front of the jersey,

(23:53):
and it's because of the bracket for March Madness and
the years and years and years of history. I can't
make people care about women's sports. You know, the Olympics
a little bit different, but I just I can't. It's
not not not enough people watch the NBA. You think

(24:13):
they watch the w n b A. They just don't.
So I it's how do you grow it. You know,
you've had people say, well, you put it on TV
more like women's basketball. Actually got in this discussion on
my podcast with Molly Miller. She's like, well, it should
be in prime time. I was like, but Molly, nobody watches.

(24:33):
There's just a limit. Nobody watches. How do you say pages?
Last name page? Uh, isn't it Becker's page backers? I
go with page backers? Who's she's a sophomore to the Yukon.
She's amazing, She's amazing. But like, you put Ukon women
on against whoever, Like I think it's gonna get a
number because Yukon but one, It only get a number

(24:54):
of a Yukon and then to that number of pales
in comparison to Duke and Pablo Ben Sharrow's a star
freshman there. It's just I mean, that's what we say
this like, Well, sports is a business. Okay, it's a business.
You never put it on TV. You gotta put it
on TV. You're telling us you're not running it like
a pure business. We got a lot to get to here.

(25:16):
The Doug Gotlip Show, Aaron Rodgers um got a little
shout out from Tom Brady. Remember Tom Brady. I'm seeing
Aaron Rodgers scored a touchdown against the Chicago Bears, and
then when people in the stands were giving him the bird,
he said, I own you. I still own you. Tom
Brady said this on his Let's Go podcast Actually before

(25:37):
we get started, I wanted to say congrats to Aaron
now was a great quarterback. But I guess he's now
a shareholder of the Bears. I saw a clip of
them really enthusiastically telling the crowd how happy is to
own Soldier Field, and that's really great stuff. He owns
the Bucks now part owner of Soldier Field. So he's
he's got a great career beyond football. That's great. That's
good stuff. That's good stuff. That's awesome. Like, look, that's

(26:05):
how you do that's how you do trash talk. Right.
You don't have to go up in the stands. You
have to give the finger back. I own you, I
still own you. And the truth is he does actually
own the Bears. Aaron Rodgers record against the Bears, Okay,
is amazing, amazing, It truly is. He has this is

(26:30):
I was looking through this actually before the show because
I was talking to a buddy about it and his
record against the Chicago Bears, I believe is twenty three
and five. That's not ownership twenty three and five. Yes,
Jase too. I think the juxtaposition here is interesting just

(26:50):
because it's like Brady I don't know if he does
trash talking directly on the field that we don't hear,
but his trash talking is like, let's go. It's almost
like it's just like to nobody in specifically right unless
I'm thinking of I'm not thinking of something for him
to like shout out Aaron here for something that was
just blatant, like I guess a lot of people are saying,

(27:13):
maybe even disrespectful, but like it was cool to see
Brady like not only acknowledge it, but to commend it,
you know, because Brady just seems like a glass half
full of positive dude, Am I am I getting the
wrong impression on this one. I don't think the let's
go is that. I think he talks trash. I think
he's gotten into guy's faces. I think he's complained to officials.

(27:33):
I think you said all that. I think that was
the part. The part about the Aaron Rodgers thing is
so oftentimes the only clips we get of these guys
is when they're miked up, and so we're trying to
figure out, like, is he saying that because he's miked
up or he's just saying that because he says that
Aaron Rodgers thing was. That's him in a game, getting
the bird, feeling good, hopping up, talking trash, running back

(27:56):
to the huddle. Yeah, Romo's Do you think it has
something to do with the fact that what he did
during the before the season started and maybe, okay, so
you think Green May fans demon would worry about that
that they don't need him to like go, look, man,
this guy's on our team now. He owns a screaming
You don't think he needed to like solidify his Green
bayness by shouting out to you know, I got the Bears,

(28:19):
I own you guys have Green May fans like, yeah,
you gut Aaron Roger Dude, you think he's good with
them no matter what? Okay, yeah, I mean, like, look,
I think I believe that he kind of did that
during the week when they asked him, and you can look,
you can pull up the you can pull up the
sound um ramos check to look for real quick where

(28:40):
somebody asked him, would he ever play for the Bears
and he was like no. It was it was like, well,
you know, I mean they have a quarterback and I'm
under contract and he's asked him. He's like no, now,
which I actually completely get. I mean it's interesting you
remember it when far retired then came back, he wanted

(29:01):
to go to Minnesota straight away he went to the
Jets because they're like, we're not giving you a Minnesota.
I don't think Rogers would played for Minnesota. I don't
think he played for the Bears. I just don't. Why
do you think he said still own you? Like? Why
was still that was the greatest line after all of
Like is it even after me not wanting to play

(29:22):
and then now wanting to play? So it does have
a little with what John is. If that's what John
was getting to of. Is that what you think he meant? Yeah?
I think I I think so. I just think he
meant no matter how I keep getting older and I
keep kicking your ass, I think that's what he meant
about it. What would you think Jays too? No? I

(29:43):
found the words still the best part of the smack,
because not only do I own you, but I still
own you right now? In this moment um. I don't
I don't think it has anything to do with that
whole packer thing. But yeah, I don't need to let's
let's let's here all more time actually before rack him

(30:08):
good night now, good night. Now. Remember remember Brady in
the super Bowl though about him talking trash? Remember him
and Tyron Matthew, Remember that whole Uh you could say, well,
there's also the right Richard Sherman. Yep, yep, that all started.

(30:28):
Yeah you mad bro? Yeah, yeah, so he does, he
does talk. I do like though, how Brady found like
like Brady's take on on the humor of because I
actually think in a way he's also not he's not
laughing at Aaron Rodgers, but it's something that you would

(30:49):
do to a good buddy and make, you know, make
fun of something that they did in that moment of
even being the the part of ownership sort of thing
like very good, that's very well delivered. Yes, no, Brady is.
He's not Peyton, but he's pretty good with the with
the lines right, like he's he's getting good. He's getting

(31:10):
really good. His problem is, I don't know what's going
to Does he have veneers? What's the story with the
teeth because it feels like he has trouble talking with
the teeth. It just does. Don't let age beat You

Heart Radio a app Doug Gotlip Show, Fox Sports Radio.

(31:56):
My that's my romis. You know that's my favorite album
of all time, The Chronic or Chronic. No, that's the
Dog Dog Out. Yeah this is yeah, that's the one
after the Chronic. Right, well, this is Snoop Dogg's first
solo album. The Chronic was Dr Dre, which Snoop dog
appeared on. So clearly this is going to be part
of the halftime show, right Oh yes, yeah. In fact,

(32:16):
I'm sure you can write down all the songs that
will be at a time show. I mean you probably
know each one of them what they're gonna do. Yeah,
those ones will not be making yeah, well yeah, not
those ones, but the more the more radio friendly ones probably, yes, yes, yes,
I mean I think they come out to still dre
don't they? Do you know who wrote still Dre do? Not?

(32:41):
Without looking j stu, do you know who wrote still
dree yest buyer? I mean, by do you know? I
do know because I think that you actually may have
put this on or it was on Twitter within the
last week. Yeah, it was jay Z right, yeah, and
that crazy. Yeah, it's really crazy, right because he would

(33:03):
think it's all East coast versus West coast, right right.
You don't think you don't you just don't think of that.
What year was it think? I think it was recorded
in the late nineties, It was like, because I remember
two thousand was what it felt like it came out,
But that's what I thought. I thought it was two
thousands or two thousand and one actually, but I could
be wrong. I do not. I just looked it up.

(33:24):
It says dropped November two nine, which basically is two thousand.
It was after the kids had it and the cool
kids had it Christmas time. The rest of us had
it in two thousands. And if you're wondering what still
Dre is ramos that was not still Dre. Do you
have still Drey? I do not. You don't, well I
may if not. He's got yes. Electric Light Orchestra my

(33:53):
fo one of my favorite bands. It's a it's a great.
I thought it was an evil woman for a long time.
It is woman. It's medieval woman. No, no, it's it
is evil woman. You're right. The first time you were
always right was never medievil woman. I know. I thought

(34:15):
it was medieval woman. It is not. It is not
present your woman. But no, it's just evil woman woman. Yeah,
you're right. Electric Light Orchestra, that is that is correct? There.
I think jeff Lynn jeff Lynn right, and Richard Tandy,

(34:38):
Richard Tandy and and Bev Bevan, I think be Bevin
there you good? Yeah? So your your favorite yellow song
is what? Uh my um turned to stone turned off
the out of the Blue album seven? Are you find
that one? Let's get to the press the press? Oh

(35:04):
my favorite still e l oh, that's my favorite. All right,
that ju sucked. I saw what you did there. He's
a dad. It's oh they talk about pregnancy brain with
with the mom. It has to happen to the dad too,

(35:28):
because this week has just been I mean a complete
mass and the kid's ben here gonna be six months
this weekend. But it's uh, we've got some breaking news.
The FDA has approved, uh two of the different shots
I think Maderna and see here Maderna and Jane Jas.

(35:48):
It was already approved. You can and you can mix
and match, alright, so with shots you can do like
the Nike shoes and Audida's pants and the Underarmoor top.
In real life you can't do. No, you can't. Uh no,
you can't. Doug, I got the J and J. But
then I got the Maderna and I went in fiser two. Okay.

(36:09):
Houston Chronicle the first to report that a deal to
sent Texans quarterback to Shaun Watson to the Dolphins could
get done this week, and then there were other reports
alongside that report saying the same thing. Now what we're
hearing Aaron Wilson, who covers the NFL based out of Houston,
saying that a third team was involved as well as

(36:29):
in a possible deal, and the completion of that trade
could have an effect on this Dolphins Houston deal, and
what we're hearing a lot of this is not me
reporting it. This is what we're hearing is to A
could be possibly traded in that separate deal. That's what
we're hearing right now. Washington was a team that was
thrown out there that people in Denver are saying they're

(36:50):
not involved. So the Broncos aren't involved. But those are
some of the rumors, UH swirling about this Deshaun Watson
impossible other deal that could send to out of Miami. Okay, wait,
so what's the hold up? So the Texans and Dolphins
they're talking about a deal, but before maybe that deal
is completed, the Dolphins would need to trade to us somewhere,

(37:11):
and two is not going to go to the Texans,
So there would be a third team involved or two
separate trades. So to his status of leaving Miami could
be holding up what is going to be done with
the Watson Dolphins deal? That makes sense. Who would So
what you gotta find is you gotta find somebody who
was infatuated with to Uh to begin with and wants to,

(37:33):
you know, give him another shot. Um, well it's me hard.
That'd be interesting, Yeah, Washington was a team that was
was put out there, but again just not not reporting that,
but that was one of the rumors. And I feel
like this interesting Patriots to be an interesting would they
I'll tell you why. I mean, one, look, you're again
you're dumpster diving if you're getting him, you know you're

(37:56):
you're getting him here and maybe you could. But but
but remember like who's he closest with. He's close with Saban,
and Saban may say like, look, you know, have him
as he's quality backup. You know where I think, actually, Pittsburgh,
you could be better than Rudolph or Dwayne Haskins. And
if you need to move on for Big Ben this

(38:16):
season gives it gives you an option that would be
excellent or I got one for you Seattle. Yeah, Russell
Wilson's still the guy. She a guy now he's better
than Gino the Seahawks. Yeah, that I would actually think. Two,
it could be involved in a Russell if Russell Wilson

(38:38):
wants to move on at the end of this year. Yeah,
well that's where I think that that if the Dolphins
didn't do this deal, that they'd be in on Russell Wilson,
and that too, could go to Seattle in the off season,
but Packers are gonna be facing the Washington football team
coming up on Sunday. Green Bay is gonna be wearing
their throwback uniforms from nineteen from the nineteen fifties. So
it's an all green look with the p pckers in

(39:00):
a yellow helmet. So it's a and it's not like
they're it's it actually. I think looks kind of sharp,
but something to to look for this weekend. I like
the all green look. Yeah, I think it's kind of cool.
I think it's they're doing. They're taking the decal off
the helmet, right, Yes, that's correct. You can't change the
helmet color, but you can take the decal off. Yes.
And uh finally, dug NFL m v P Pyramid is

(39:22):
going to be released today. I will tell you this.
There is a change at the top Kyler Murray back
number one. You can see the rest of the pyramid
at Fox Sports Radio and of course I'll be retweeting it.
That was the press the yellow for it. You got
the latest line of the World Sports Better Sports Book,
bet Rivers, d Trust the name and online sports betting

(39:43):

Pennsylvania to play gamily problem called one It under Gambler.
