My goodness, why are we still talking about the New
York Jets. I cannot understand this. There's so much going on.
We're gonna get to Giannis and Damian Lillard and Milwaukee
and more on that. From the reaction in the trade yesterday,
we've got some Travis Kelcey Taylor Swift opinions that Again,

I just am not sure on why this continues to
be a story, but there seemed to be some now
haters coming out about this relationship. We dive into that.
Plus we go so far back that Moncey will hear
a story about something that happened in sports when she
wasn't even alive. And I think that if you're Manzie's age,

you'll want to hear it. If you're my age, you'll
know exactly what I'm talking about. But it was a crazy,
crazy time in the NFL. But we start where it's
a crazy, crazy start to the season to the New
York Jets. And here's my problem with the New York Jets, Manzi.
Aaron Rodgers was the story of this team. This team
knew that they needed to have it get a quarterback

in the offseason because Zach Wilson was not going to
be that guy. And with Aaron Rodgers and his dissatisfaction
in Green Bay, the first couple of months of the
offseason when the regular season ended, speculation where does Aaron
Rodgers go? Does he retired? Does he play? What does
Green Bay do? And then he comes out of darkness,
finds out green Bay wants to trade him, and he's like, well,

all right, then I want to go too. I'm ready
to move on. I want to be a member of
the New York Jets. And then that took off. I
know it's a nice reference to a jet taking off,
but the Jets hype took off, but I'm sorry it
came to a quick end when he blew his achilles
on Monday Night Football in Week one, four plays into
(03:57):
his Jets tenure, and I just don't understand why it
continues to be a conversation. I get why Joe Namath
is talking about it because he's on a New York
show that there's a conversation. You're a lot of Jets
fans are there. But this is a one and two
team right now that doesn't have a quarterback that we

knew wasn't the quarterback. Aaron Rodgers is no longer there,
and I don't know why we're still talking about the
New York Jets.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I'm like, on the other side of this stand, I'm
still talking about the Jets.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
I still want to see what happens. There is one
thing I'm sure of.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Destiny for Zach Wilson is to be the Jets quarterback.

And after Week one, they won.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
They won that game after Aaron Rodgers went down, and
all I wanted I was rooting for Zach Wilson. Nobody
expected this to happen, Nobody believes in him, and I
am the one that wants to watch this that is
rooting for him to just I don't need them to
be perfect, it's not I just want to to feel
okay being the Jets quarterback and he doesn't look great

out there, but I'm still interested.

I am Are you interested because he was the second
overall pick? Are you interested because he was supposed to
be mentored by Aaron Rodgers? These are the things that
like this. This is his third year. Now we have
given other quarterbacks a much shorter leash in determining their
value and their future with the organizations. Zach Wilson has

now started twenty five games. It was played in twenty
five games in his NFL career. That's we're approaching a
season and a half on those numbers, and that is
enough for me to draw the conclusion. And it's not
even the number of games wantsie. It's the time within
the building. It's the time that he has done. It's
(05:51):
supposed to be this offseason or this preseason where he
took the preseason snaps a majority of until Aaron Rodgers
played a couple of snaps in that preseason game again
the Giants, but it was all Zach Wilson. And now
when you get an opportunity to take over in the
first quarter, to play against Dallas, to play against New England,
I know those are tough defenses, but I think that

the jury has reached its verdict and it said Zach
Wilson is not the quarterback. And that's not even a
hot take. And that's why I just wonder, like, then,
why do we still care if the guy that we
cared about is laid up in a bed in Malibu
because of his achille surgery. Why are we still talking
about the New York Jets? I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
So you make an excellent point that we have definitely
given a shorter leash to other quarterbacks. But I actually
think because of the entire story coming into the season
about Aaron Rodgers and the Jets and then losing Aaron Rodgers,
I'm still interested in what the Jets are going to
do without him, and I'm interested to see how Zach
(06:50):
Wilson can maybe come out of it.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Now, don't you know? Don't you know though, Like, don't
you know how it's gonna end? Like you're just hoping
for a happy ending of the Zach Wilson era in
this turnaround, that's all that you're hoping for. But in reality,
it's just not It's that's not reality based.

So why does it? Why does it have to be?

Why can't this be a Cinderella story that I'm rooting for.
I hear everything you're saying, and everything you're saying is
really logical, but maybe I just don't want to think
of this in a logical way, Like there's other stories,
but this one, I'm just intrigued by it.

You spent I don't know how many months with Aaron Rodgers,
and I thought I really thought that Zach Wilson was
gonna come out and play, especially after pulling out Week
one and winning that game. I really thought he was
gonna come out and just be a good manager of
the game. Like it's like, you don't need to be
a star, you just need to be able to manage
the game and help your team win.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
You know, you have a good defense.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
And so maybe it's like all the hate he's getting that,
it's like I am still rooting for him.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
I don't care that I may be already know the answer.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Maybe you're Robert Sala, like that's the that's the point.
And because and it's now it's starting to divide the
locker room, just like it's dividing this show. There are
reports that players don't want Zach Wilson as their quarterback
and and this is this is actually part of the problem.
And I think that I think that Robert sala is

sticking with Zach Wilson because there are people like me
and other people are saying this thing's done with, this
thing's over with, and I just don't think that that's
good business in the National Football League. I mean, there's
Trevor Simeon was brought in this week and he's not
even the backup. Tim Boyle's there as well, and there
are people who fully believe Trevor Simeon will take first

team snaps at some point this season. And Trevor Simeon
wasn't even good the last time he played. That's how
bad it's gotten with the Jets. Is maybe a romanticized on,
you know, a couple of good games Trevor Simeon had,
but it's also the fact of that things are so
bad with New York that you would still rather start
a guy who was just brought in during Week four

of the season than to have the guy who was
the second overall pick and has been with the organization
for three years.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
You just said it.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
We're barely going into week four, so what are the
Jets supposed to do? You can't just bring in a
quarterback to learn an offense. I mean, I've never had to,
but that sounds difficult. That sounds like you can't just
do it overnight. So there weren't other options. What else
is Robert Salaz supposed to do except instill positivity into
Zach Wilson like that. He has to do that. It's
we're approaching week four. He may be changing his tune.
(09:32):
Like you said, there are stories that the locker room
is not happy. Understandably, I get that, but what are
what were the Jets supposed to do the last two weeks?
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, they didn't have any.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Other There was no other option, and so you have
to stay positive and you have to be that guy.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
I think there's still a story because of Aaron Rodgers,
which is crazy because you and I did a bunch
of shows during the summer. In sitting here in the studio,
I claimed that the Green Bay Packers were actually going
to be America's team this year. And the reason why
I said that is not because I thought everybody would

like the Packers, but I thought you had this clear
divide of Aaron Rodgers against his former team. The Packers
played tonight against the Detroit Lions in a big NFC
North divisional game, even though it's only Week four, and
I don't think people care one bit. I don't think
people are tracking Jordan Love. I don't. I mean Jordan
Levin a great comeback win against the Saints. I did
not see that those waves take place nationally across the landscape.
(10:32):
And it's because there was no Aaron Rodgers to go
up against like I thought you would have this Belichick
Brady Brady's in Tampa. How are the Patriots doing comparison
throughout the year with the Jets and Packers now that
Rogers has gone, I think that the Packers on a
national scare scale have kind of Beeny raced, which makes
me then wonder why the heck are we still talking
about the New York Jets if he's also not the

quarterback of the actual team that he's on right now.
And that's where it's just the Rogers injuries. It was
so decimating to the Jets, but we've completely forgotten about
the Green Bay Packers. But for some reason, we think
that Zach Wilson is going to turn things around, and
we continue there to talk about It just doesn't make
any sense to me.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
I really never thought that the Packers and the Jets
were gonna be like a Bill Belichick Tom Brady.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't think that.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I don't think people thought that, just because I don't
think people knew exactly what Jordan Love was. We knew
Bill Belichick and we knew what Tom Brady were and
I think that that was.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
A little different. You bring that up, and it is
interesting that maybe you.

Were onto something and now the Packers aren't getting the
attention that maybe they would have if Aaron Rodgers was
still healthy.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
But because of all of the anticipation coming into the
season and we're only going into week four, I think
that's why we're still talking about Zach Wilson. I mean,
come week ten, maybe we're not and you're gonna be
like I wish we were talking still about Jack Wilson.

Trevor Simeon will be starting. That's why.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
Yeah, right, So it's it's still early on and I
think that's why it is. And I get hopeless romantic
me and Roberts all over here.

I'm sorry, a team puts seventy points on another team, well,
four or five days ago, and like. And by the way,
that team that puts seventy has an enormous game this
Sunday against Buffalo h and we're still talking about the
New York Jets and they're ten points they scored against
the Patriots.

Also, I think it's just the comments that have been
recently made, you know, and Aaron Rodgers addressing the comments.
I think that's why we're still talking about it, honestly.

Let's get into this trade because now I think we've
got an opportunity to take a step back hearing what
the people are saying listening on the deal that Damian
Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, and now you
get a lot of a lot of content on this manci,
(15:58):
a lot of people coming up with their own thoughts,
their own ideas of what's what it's going to mean
for the Milwaukee Bucks. I thought it was interesting in
the side of how we now look at individual players.
But I do want to start out because you weren't
behind this mic yesterday when this deal broke down. You
(16:20):
hear the trade Damian Lillard not going to the Heat
going to the Bucks. Sons are involved, They ship DeAndre
eight and out, they get a couple of pieces, Portland's
gets their restart. First thing that popped into your mind
when this deal went down was what so the first thing.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
I saw didn't include the entire trade with the three teams.
All I saw Damian Lillard going to Milwaukee, and I.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Said, what the how did this happen? Where did this
come out of?
Speaker 3 (16:47):
That's my initial thought. Then I saw the other teams involved,
and I was like, Wow, the Sun's got a good
deal out of this, not just the Milwaukee Bucks, but
the Suns too. That's initially what I thought, and I
don't think anyone fixated on that. I think everybody was
just like, Dame is going to Milwaukee, which is great.
So happy for Dame that he's gonna actually have an

opportunity to contend for a title.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
But I think the Suns really came out on top
in this strait.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
You know, Dog Doug hit it on the head yesterday
and in saying like in all of this, you know,
the Miami Heat were the biggest losers, and I think
they were the actual team that everyone truly focused on
right at the outset because we thought it was a
done deal that he was going to Miami. I don't
want to be biased as a Bucks fan, so I
kind of take myself out of it. I obviously thought
(17:36):
of my team's you know, luck in getting this done.
Now they're good fortune. But then there's also other steps
that come after that. And that's where I think we
now are twenty five hours after this deal was announced,
is Okay, what are the real steps? What's going on here?
And I saw something that just kind of took it
(17:58):
back because I don't you how this trade is being
done and it has to deal with Giannis and Tetakunpo,
and that's where I want to dive into manzi Is.
People are now putting the target on Giannis's back, saying
Giannis has no excuse and this is now championship or
bust with Milwaukee and specifically Giannis and Tetakumpo. Newsflash, it
(18:21):
actually always has been championship or bust if you really
look on the last couple of seasons. However, there's a
huge caveat to this. You still have to look at
the organization and this right now is not the san
Antonio Spurs, and I think if you looked at the
Spurs in nineteen ninety nine, you saw their future with
Tim Duncan, you thought, man, this could be really something special.
(18:42):
Never did you think that you would win the titles
that you did and be able to switch out David
Robinson and Sean Elliott, Navery Johnson with the likes of
Mono Jenobi and Tony Parker and have this whole other run.
But the Spurs made quite a run. My point is this,
as a Bucks fan and anybody who followed the Bucks,
to just win one title, honestly, like everything a Yiannis
(19:03):
could do afterwards was gravy, and I think a big
portion of the Bucks fan base felt, you know what,
if Yannis does leave after his contract, not that it's okay,
but it's not like he's gonna be hated because he
delivered something that they never thought would be possible. So
when I saw something today that said, Manzi that now
Jannis has to bring a championship home, I don't think
(19:24):
that that's the case. And I don't know if I'm
talking from a Bucks perspective, as a Bucks fan perspective,
I think the pressure is now on Damian Lillard. I
don't know if Damian Lillard goes to Miami and wins
an NBA title or not. But now that he's with
Milwaukee and they're the odds on favorite to win the championship,
like now Dame is in that conversation of players to

never have won a best player have won a title,
this is a huge, huge deal for Damian Lillard. And
I don't think that the pressure is on Giannis as
much as it is on Damian Lillard, who now has
to help bring that second champion to Milwaukee.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
Yeah, that's silly.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Why is it all on Yonness. I didn't think that
at all at all. And I hear what you're saying.
Once they won, it was he delivered already for the city,
for your team. I agree that if you would have left,
you weren't gonna hold it against him, is what you're saying, right,
Because you weren't gonna hold it against him, just like
I think most Blazers fans are not holding it against
(20:23):
Damian Lillard that he wants to go try and do
something right. I don't see in what scenario you put
the pressure strictly ony Honis. It's either on the entire
team because keeping Chris Middleton was huge in this trade, right,
so it's like, oh, you guys are are totally stocked.
And even though I didn't think of this when the

trade happened, I agree with you. I think it's on
Damian Lillard now at this point. And I agree that
if he would have gone to Miami, I don't think
the pressure would have been as much because Miami. We
all like Miami is good and like they're fun to watch,
but they also aren't to the left of like the
Denver Nuggets of even the Milwaukee Bucks.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
You know, there was something missing there.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Now with the Milwaukee Bucks, they're almost damn near perfect,
like almost, you know. I don't think it is a
clear win for them that they're going to win the championship.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
I think the Denver Nuggets are still the better team
they've been playing. They know what their identity is. There,
not that Milwaukee isn't gonna be able to figure it out.
But I do think Milwaukee comes out of the East
and they should and the pressure should be on Damian.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
How is it not? How is it not?
Speaker 2 (21:36):
There are certain points in history where we look back
on and I go back to the Kevin Durant scenario.
It's not apples to apples here. Because Kevin Durant was
a top top two player in the NBA, top three
player in the NBA at the time that he was traded,
or at the time that he chose to leave Oklahoma
City and then sign as a free agent with Golden State,
that tilted the deck heavily in favor of Golden State.
(22:00):
But even with them being so good, Manci, I look
at those titles that he won in Golden State as
his titles, and I look at the twenty fifteen and
the twenty nineteen as Steph Clay's and Draymond's titles, and
I think that when you go throughout time, and this
is actually one of the things with with Jordan and
(22:22):
Lebron is their titles are pretty much always going to
be their titles. Kobe's five, we think three of them
are Shacks. And if Kobe was here today, I think
that he would tell you that two thousand and eight
and or excuse me, two thousand and nine and twenty
ten meant more because they were without Shack. They were
his team. And that's how I feel like when Yannis
(22:44):
has this, when you look back on his career, if
he and Dame end up winning a title or two
or three, it's the one that they won in twenty
twenty one that is probably going to be the most
special to Giannis because of everything that he went through
and of being that big dog. But now you look
at but Damian Lillard is he is now. While he
may not be a top three player in the league
(23:04):
like Durant was, he has firmly now put himself in
conversation of you need to win a title to really
validate your career. If he would have stayed in Portland,
he's immune from that. There's like this protective shield around
that because he's loyal to his city. It's on the
organization for not getting it done. But he stayed loyal
to his team once you want it out and now
(23:27):
especially when you team up with Yannis who no offense
to Nikola Jokic. But some people feel that Giannis is
still the best player in the game today despite Yoki's
great success that he's had over the last couple of years.
Now you put him with the you know who's something
of the best player in the league, things change, Things
are different now.

Yeah, I agree, Damien has to win.

Yeah, No, he was choking, and I took a moment
just to make sure he wasn't actually choking. No, I
just had to make sure that.

there is no Russell Westbrook anymore. There there is no
you know, Paul George coming in. There is none of that.
If Jannis left the box, it is a full on
a rebuild, and you had traded a lot of assets
to set up, you know, your squad. That the Bucks
would have been in the bottom ten of the NBA.
They would have like if Jannis leaves. That's so Giannis

putting the bat signal out to the front office of
being like, yeah, I want to make sure that this
team is competitive. That could factor into my decision. It's
him talking about a title, but I think it's mostly
about him. It was him staying in Milwaukee, and I
think that the two are separate. As crazy as that sounds,

I think that if the biggest deal is to make
sure that he stays there and is competitive. And it's
funny as well because there are reports that have popped
up over the last twenty four hours how Giannis there
was a Jimmy Butler when he was unhappy in Minnesota.
The Bucks could have been interested, but he didn't want
to give up Chris Middleton as part of that deal
or something that Milwaukee was interested in Kyrie last year

and he didn't want any part of that. Just rumors
and speculation and stuff that you hear, but he was
willing enough to give up Drew Holliday to bring in
Damian Lillard. Yeah, I had him separated, Manzie. I really
doub don't know if it's right or wrong, but I
separated them in not of winning a championship. It it's
just more of him staying in Milwaukee and what he

would need to do to stay in Milwaukee. So I
think once you leave, it is the automatic championship. But
if he would have stayed in Milwaukee and didn't win,
even though they were kind of competitive, I don't think that.
I think he would have been fine with his legacy,
if that makes any sense.

That's what's weird about it, because I I, up until
he said those comments, I actually agree that. I thought
he wanted to stay in Milwaukee and just be competitive.
And when he said that, I was like, huh, all
this championship talk, because now we put so much, so

left Portland because we have put so much weight on it,

and I did not. I thought Jannis was he won
that one, and I thought he was happy with his
legacy and he would not want to leave Milwaukee, especially

leaked the news last night that what she was going
to attend the game on Sunday.

this information? Who's feeding him the information to leak? And
then it gets into how genuine is this thing? And

then she writes songs about it. Why would she fake
a relationship and then write a song about it?

be faking it. Are they gonna be together forever?

of a football stadium. So why they weren't all over
each other making out right in front of the elevator
that goes up to the suites where you drop off

the food to the suites. I have no idea, but yeah,
it's also awkward when there's everybody standing and you're making
your way through.

Right exactly, they know they're being watched. Everything they're gonna do,
somebody is watching. That video was seven seconds long. You
barely saw them. They turn a corner. Yeah, they weren't
holding hands. Okay, they also walked out together. Would you
have said, oh, they didn't leave together. They left separately,
like they can't win, they can't win again. Are they
gonna be together forever? I don't think so. It'd be

great if they are. I just think that they're having

do believe El Duncan made this point of how quickly
this has all happened, And I know other people made

They're past that, even though they may have never met online.

of the type of person that Taylor is and Travis
Kelce is, so like they're already on date ten even
though it's date one.

But I think it is fair to say, like who
benefits more from this and your point about Taylor Swift,
it may be real for her, it's the Travis kelcey
portion of it, because he is getting the bump, Like
there there is a bump to Travis kelce which, by
the way, he doesn't have anything to lose. He's a
two time Super Bowl champ coming off of a season

where they're trying to go back to back, but there's
not a lot at stake when it comes to his
future and reputation. Yeah, so if she's saying that it's
a stunt, it doesn't mean that both PR departments have
gotten together. It may be a stunt just from Travis
kelce side of things.

I hope not because if then that comes out, that sucks.

I just they're both famous people, they're both attractive, and
maybe initially it was a joke that Travis Kelcey wanted
to hand her his friendship bracelet with his number on it,

hear this guy said this? And all of a sudden
they started talking. This is what happens when you're famous.
You get to all of a sudden talk to another
famous person like you've been friends forever.

That just happens. And maybe it didn't, and maybe it
was all a joke, and then they were like, oh, no,
you are Yeah, you're cute. Yeah no, let's hang out.
Let's see if this is something we can do for
a couple of days.

Something just you struck a struck, a chord, a light
bulb in my head that went off that I can see. Yeah, no,
thank you. I do appreciate it because they aren't like us,
and I do think that relationships are different. This may
start quickly, but it can also just end quickly. And

the story, like I'm so over it. But but there
is the point of where I think, like there has
to be an endgame for it, instead of let's just
have some fun for a couple of months.

not like I'll wait till week nine. Like the fun
of it for her is to be, Oh, I'm dating
a player and I get to go and sit in

how far is Travis Kelsey gotten? Like and and to me,
what annoys me about just my day to day processes.
It has seeped into into my workplace, the tabloidish lifestyle
thing that I typically can just ignore, but I'm forced
to read now because I don't want to be got
that misses out on the fact that Travis Kelcey has

gotten the third base with Taylor Swift or whatever heard it.
And that's what kind of annoys me personally about this.

And I understand that I completely one hundred percent. If
anyone told me I'm annoyed by this story, I don't care.
I get it once I understand obviously I care.

I love Taylor Swift.

I don't care about Travis Kelcey necessarily, but I don't
dislike the guy. I another reason, sorry, light bulb, another
reason why I don't think this is a fake or
pr relationship. Apparently Travis Kelce's ex has said some stuff
on social media that is like attacking Taylor, and so
it's like, all right, you're jealous of Taylor Swift and
you're getting involved. All of that to me does not

make it seem like it's a publicity stunt.

Do you think Taylor Swift know? Again, this is just
a question. Do you think she knows football and stuff?
You think she just enjoys like the atmosphere, like when
she was banging again, it was all about just him
in that moment. Do you think she understands like what's
going on out there?

She's being in the glass, right, John, Yeah, that's what
you're talking. Yeah, what did I say? No, you just
said she was banging. I just wanted to put some context.

It's just do you think she she knows football? And
she's into football, and therefore she knows that type of

I am gonna guess that she is a fan of

knows that you have four chances to move ten yards.

like trying to she's excited to see her man get
in the end zone and score a touchdown, and just
like he would be excited to see her walk out

Confidence, you know, the you know you know it. This
is with anybody, Like it's so's active to see somebody
do what they do at a high level, and so
you're brought in and you're like, oh wow, that is amazing.
And that's where I think that is. Yeah, yes, But
it's also like I would bet if you gave a
roster of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelcey is not

the hottest guy in the Chiefs, Okay, I would. I
would almost guarantee it, Like there's no way I'm team Paco.
Like I think that there are other probably better looking
guys on the team, but nobody's Travis Kelcey. And that's
the thing about it as well, is it's not like

she's dating the long Snapper or the you know, the
Safety and the Dime package, you know, like you know
the other dB. It's it's Travis kelcey and because of
who he is and because of who she is, and
that's brought them together. And that's why I just don't
think that it's like. I think they're just having fun
and it's probably just gonna go away at some point.

But to say that it's fake, I don't know. I've
heard of fake relationships out of necessity, they're out of publicity,
and they go actually go on longer than people probably realize,
But I don't think that it's entirely the case.

I just am not sure on why this continues to
be a story, but there seemed to be some now
haters coming out about this relationship. We dive into that.
Plus we go so far back that Moncey will hear
a story about something that happened in sports when she
wasn't even alive. And I think that if you're Manzie's age,

you'll want to hear it. If you're my age, you'll
know exactly what I'm talking about. But it was a crazy,
crazy time in the NFL. But we start where it's
a crazy, crazy start to the season to the New
York Jets. And here's my problem with the New York Jets, Manzi.
Aaron Rodgers was the story of this team. This team
knew that they needed to have it get a quarterback

in the offseason because Zach Wilson was not going to
be that guy. And with Aaron Rodgers and his dissatisfaction
in Green Bay, the first couple of months of the
offseason when the regular season ended, speculation where does Aaron
Rodgers go? Does he retired? Does he play? What does
Green Bay do? And then he comes out of darkness,
finds out green Bay wants to trade him, and he's like, well,

all right, then I want to go too. I'm ready
to move on. I want to be a member of
the New York Jets. And then that took off. I
know it's a nice reference to a jet taking off,
but the Jets hype took off, but I'm sorry it
came to a quick end when he blew his achilles
on Monday Night Football in Week one, four plays into
(03:57):
his Jets tenure, and I just don't understand why it
continues to be a conversation. I get why Joe Namath
is talking about it because he's on a New York
show that there's a conversation. You're a lot of Jets
fans are there. But this is a one and two
team right now that doesn't have a quarterback that we

knew wasn't the quarterback. Aaron Rodgers is no longer there,
and I don't know why we're still talking about the
New York Jets.

I'm like, on the other side of this stand, I'm
still talking about the Jets.

I still want to see what happens. There is one
thing I'm sure of.

Destiny for Zach Wilson is to be the Jets quarterback.

And after Week one, they won.

They won that game after Aaron Rodgers went down, and
all I wanted I was rooting for Zach Wilson. Nobody
expected this to happen, Nobody believes in him, and I
am the one that wants to watch this that is
rooting for him to just I don't need them to
be perfect, it's not I just want to to feel
okay being the Jets quarterback and he doesn't look great

out there, but I'm still interested.

I am Are you interested because he was the second
overall pick? Are you interested because he was supposed to
be mentored by Aaron Rodgers? These are the things that
like this. This is his third year. Now we have
given other quarterbacks a much shorter leash in determining their
value and their future with the organizations. Zach Wilson has

now started twenty five games. It was played in twenty
five games in his NFL career. That's we're approaching a
season and a half on those numbers, and that is
enough for me to draw the conclusion. And it's not
even the number of games wantsie. It's the time within
the building. It's the time that he has done. It's

supposed to be this offseason or this preseason where he
took the preseason snaps a majority of until Aaron Rodgers
played a couple of snaps in that preseason game again
the Giants, but it was all Zach Wilson. And now
when you get an opportunity to take over in the
first quarter, to play against Dallas, to play against New England,
I know those are tough defenses, but I think that

the jury has reached its verdict and it said Zach
Wilson is not the quarterback. And that's not even a
hot take. And that's why I just wonder, like, then,
why do we still care if the guy that we
cared about is laid up in a bed in Malibu
because of his achille surgery. Why are we still talking
about the New York Jets? I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
So you make an excellent point that we have definitely
given a shorter leash to other quarterbacks. But I actually
think because of the entire story coming into the season
about Aaron Rodgers and the Jets and then losing Aaron Rodgers,
I'm still interested in what the Jets are going to
do without him, and I'm interested to see how Zach

Wilson can maybe come out of it.

Now, don't you know? Don't you know though, Like, don't
you know how it's gonna end? Like you're just hoping
for a happy ending of the Zach Wilson era in
this turnaround, that's all that you're hoping for. But in reality,

Why can't this be a Cinderella story that I'm rooting for.

You spent I don't know how many months with Aaron Rodgers,
and I thought I really thought that Zach Wilson was
gonna come out and play, especially after pulling out Week
one and winning that game. I really thought he was
gonna come out and just be a good manager of
the game. Like it's like, you don't need to be
a star, you just need to be able to manage
the game and help your team win.

You know, you have a good defense.

And so maybe it's like all the hate he's getting that,
it's like I am still rooting for him.

I don't care that I may be already know the answer.

Maybe you're Robert Sala, like that's the that's the point.
And because and it's now it's starting to divide the
locker room, just like it's dividing this show. There are
reports that players don't want Zach Wilson as their quarterback
and and this is this is actually part of the problem.
And I think that I think that Robert sala is

sticking with Zach Wilson because there are people like me
and other people are saying this thing's done with, this
thing's over with, and I just don't think that that's
good business in the National Football League. I mean, there's
Trevor Simeon was brought in this week and he's not
even the backup. Tim Boyle's there as well, and there
are people who fully believe Trevor Simeon will take first

team snaps at some point this season. And Trevor Simeon
wasn't even good the last time he played. That's how
bad it's gotten with the Jets. Is maybe a romanticized on,
you know, a couple of good games Trevor Simeon had,
but it's also the fact of that things are so
bad with New York that you would still rather start
a guy who was just brought in during Week four

of the season than to have the guy who was
the second overall pick and has been with the organization
for three years.

We're barely going into week four, so what are the
Jets supposed to do? You can't just bring in a
quarterback to learn an offense. I mean, I've never had to,
but that sounds difficult. That sounds like you can't just
do it overnight. So there weren't other options. What else
is Robert Salaz supposed to do except instill positivity into
Zach Wilson like that. He has to do that. It's
we're approaching week four. He may be changing his tune.

Like you said, there are stories that the locker room
is not happy. Understandably, I get that, but what are
what were the Jets supposed to do the last two weeks?

Yeah, they didn't have any.

Other There was no other option, and so you have
to stay positive and you have to be that guy.

I think there's still a story because of Aaron Rodgers,
which is crazy because you and I did a bunch
of shows during the summer. In sitting here in the studio,
I claimed that the Green Bay Packers were actually going
to be America's team this year. And the reason why
I said that is not because I thought everybody would

like the Packers, but I thought you had this clear
divide of Aaron Rodgers against his former team. The Packers
played tonight against the Detroit Lions in a big NFC
North divisional game, even though it's only Week four, and
I don't think people care one bit. I don't think
people are tracking Jordan Love. I don't. I mean Jordan
Levin a great comeback win against the Saints. I did
not see that those waves take place nationally across the landscape.

And it's because there was no Aaron Rodgers to go
up against like I thought you would have this Belichick
Brady Brady's in Tampa. How are the Patriots doing comparison
throughout the year with the Jets and Packers now that
Rogers has gone, I think that the Packers on a
national scare scale have kind of Beeny raced, which makes
me then wonder why the heck are we still talking
about the New York Jets if he's also not the

quarterback of the actual team that he's on right now.
And that's where it's just the Rogers injuries. It was
so decimating to the Jets, but we've completely forgotten about
the Green Bay Packers. But for some reason, we think
that Zach Wilson is going to turn things around, and
we continue there to talk about It just doesn't make
any sense to me.

I really never thought that the Packers and the Jets
were gonna be like a Bill Belichick Tom Brady.

I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't think that.

come week ten, maybe we're not and you're gonna be
like I wish we were talking still about Jack Wilson.

Let's get into this trade because now I think we've
got an opportunity to take a step back hearing what
the people are saying listening on the deal that Damian
Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, and now you
get a lot of a lot of content on this manci,

a lot of people coming up with their own thoughts,
their own ideas of what's what it's going to mean
for the Milwaukee Bucks. I thought it was interesting in
the side of how we now look at individual players.
But I do want to start out because you weren't
behind this mic yesterday when this deal broke down. You
(16:20):
hear the trade Damian Lillard not going to the Heat
going to the Bucks. Sons are involved, They ship DeAndre
eight and out, they get a couple of pieces, Portland's
gets their restart. First thing that popped into your mind
when this deal went down was what so the first thing.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
I saw didn't include the entire trade with the three teams.
All I saw Damian Lillard going to Milwaukee, and I.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Said, what the how did this happen? Where did this
come out of?
Speaker 3 (16:47):
That's my initial thought. Then I saw the other teams involved,
and I was like, Wow, the Sun's got a good
deal out of this, not just the Milwaukee Bucks, but
the Suns too. That's initially what I thought, and I
don't think anyone fixated on that. I think everybody was
just like, Dame is going to Milwaukee, which is great.
So happy for Dame that he's gonna actually have an

opportunity to contend for a title.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
But I think the Suns really came out on top
in this strait.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
You know, Dog Doug hit it on the head yesterday
and in saying like in all of this, you know,
the Miami Heat were the biggest losers, and I think
they were the actual team that everyone truly focused on
right at the outset because we thought it was a
done deal that he was going to Miami. I don't
want to be biased as a Bucks fan, so I
kind of take myself out of it. I obviously thought
(17:36):
of my team's you know, luck in getting this done.
Now they're good fortune. But then there's also other steps
that come after that. And that's where I think we
now are twenty five hours after this deal was announced,
is Okay, what are the real steps? What's going on here?
And I saw something that just kind of took it
(17:58):
back because I don't you how this trade is being
done and it has to deal with Giannis and Tetakunpo,
and that's where I want to dive into manzi Is.
People are now putting the target on Giannis's back, saying
Giannis has no excuse and this is now championship or
bust with Milwaukee and specifically Giannis and Tetakumpo. Newsflash, it
(18:21):
actually always has been championship or bust if you really
look on the last couple of seasons. However, there's a
huge caveat to this. You still have to look at
the organization and this right now is not the san
Antonio Spurs, and I think if you looked at the
Spurs in nineteen ninety nine, you saw their future with
Tim Duncan, you thought, man, this could be really something special.

Never did you think that you would win the titles
that you did and be able to switch out David
Robinson and Sean Elliott, Navery Johnson with the likes of
Mono Jenobi and Tony Parker and have this whole other run.
But the Spurs made quite a run. My point is this,
as a Bucks fan and anybody who followed the Bucks,
to just win one title, honestly, like everything a Yiannis
(19:03):
could do afterwards was gravy, and I think a big
portion of the Bucks fan base felt, you know what,
if Yannis does leave after his contract, not that it's okay,
but it's not like he's gonna be hated because he
delivered something that they never thought would be possible. So
when I saw something today that said, Manzi that now
Jannis has to bring a championship home, I don't think
(19:24):
that that's the case. And I don't know if I'm
talking from a Bucks perspective, as a Bucks fan perspective,
I think the pressure is now on Damian Lillard. I
don't know if Damian Lillard goes to Miami and wins
an NBA title or not. But now that he's with
Milwaukee and they're the odds on favorite to win the championship,
like now Dame is in that conversation of players to

never have won a best player have won a title,
this is a huge, huge deal for Damian Lillard. And
I don't think that the pressure is on Giannis as
much as it is on Damian Lillard, who now has
to help bring that second champion to Milwaukee.

Why is it all on Yonness. I didn't think that
at all at all. And I hear what you're saying.
Once they won, it was he delivered already for the city,
for your team. I agree that if you would have left,
you weren't gonna hold it against him, is what you're saying, right,
Because you weren't gonna hold it against him, just like
I think most Blazers fans are not holding it against

Damian Lillard that he wants to go try and do
something right. I don't see in what scenario you put
the pressure strictly ony Honis. It's either on the entire
team because keeping Chris Middleton was huge in this trade, right,
so it's like, oh, you guys are are totally stocked.
And even though I didn't think of this when the

trade happened, I agree with you. I think it's on
Damian Lillard now at this point. And I agree that
if he would have gone to Miami, I don't think
the pressure would have been as much because Miami. We
all like Miami is good and like they're fun to watch,
but they also aren't to the left of like the
Denver Nuggets of even the Milwaukee Bucks.

You know, there was something missing there.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Now with the Milwaukee Bucks, they're almost damn near perfect,
like almost, you know. I don't think it is a
clear win for them that they're going to win the championship.
Speaker 5 (21:18):

I think the Denver Nuggets are still the better team
they've been playing. They know what their identity is. There,
not that Milwaukee isn't gonna be able to figure it out.
But I do think Milwaukee comes out of the East
and they should and the pressure should be on Damian.

How is it not? How is it not?
Speaker 2 (21:36):
There are certain points in history where we look back
on and I go back to the Kevin Durant scenario.
It's not apples to apples here. Because Kevin Durant was
a top top two player in the NBA, top three
player in the NBA at the time that he was traded,
or at the time that he chose to leave Oklahoma
City and then sign as a free agent with Golden State,
that tilted the deck heavily in favor of Golden State.

But even with them being so good, Manci, I look
at those titles that he won in Golden State as
his titles, and I look at the twenty fifteen and
the twenty nineteen as Steph Clay's and Draymond's titles, and
I think that when you go throughout time, and this
is actually one of the things with with Jordan and

Lebron is their titles are pretty much always going to
be their titles. Kobe's five, we think three of them
are Shacks. And if Kobe was here today, I think
that he would tell you that two thousand and eight
and or excuse me, two thousand and nine and twenty
ten meant more because they were without Shack. They were
his team. And that's how I feel like when Yannis

has this, when you look back on his career, if
he and Dame end up winning a title or two
or three, it's the one that they won in twenty
twenty one that is probably going to be the most
special to Giannis because of everything that he went through
and of being that big dog. But now you look
at but Damian Lillard is he is now. While he
may not be a top three player in the league

like Durant was, he has firmly now put himself in
conversation of you need to win a title to really
validate your career. If he would have stayed in Portland,
he's immune from that. There's like this protective shield around
that because he's loyal to his city. It's on the
organization for not getting it done. But he stayed loyal
to his team once you want it out and now

especially when you team up with Yannis who no offense
to Nikola Jokic. But some people feel that Giannis is
still the best player in the game today despite Yoki's
great success that he's had over the last couple of years.
Now you put him with the you know who's something
of the best player in the league, things change, Things
are different now.

Yeah, I agree, Damien has to win.

his back. Gianni's has accomplished what he's already accomplished. What's
different now in Milwaukee Damian Lillard's there, So now it's
on Lillard's shoulders to help bring that title to the box.

Do you think that these comments that Jannis has the
target on his back came from his recent comments a
week ago where he said he's like, no, I like
it here, but I need to win and if that
requires me to go elsewhere, I'm gonna go else Remember
that he just said that.

Think that's why people are putting it on him because
he said that, and now Milwaukee was like, all right,
we gave you what you wanted, now.

I did not characterize those those comments like that. I
characterize their comments, those comments as not leaving to go
win another championship, but just leaving period. Because if he
leaves that organization, that is the equivalent of Kevin Durant
leaving Oklahoma City. Unfortunately for them, though, there is no

there is no Russell Westbrook anymore. There there is no
you know, Paul George coming in. There is none of that.
If Jannis left the box, it is a full on
a rebuild, and you had traded a lot of assets
to set up, you know, your squad. That the Bucks
would have been in the bottom ten of the NBA.
They would have like if Jannis leaves. That's so Giannis
(25:41):
putting the bat signal out to the front office of
being like, yeah, I want to make sure that this
team is competitive. That could factor into my decision. It's
him talking about a title, but I think it's mostly
about him. It was him staying in Milwaukee, and I
think that the two are separate. As crazy as that sounds,

I think that if the biggest deal is to make
sure that he stays there and is competitive. And it's
funny as well because there are reports that have popped
up over the last twenty four hours how Giannis there
was a Jimmy Butler when he was unhappy in Minnesota.
The Bucks could have been interested, but he didn't want
to give up Chris Middleton as part of that deal
or something that Milwaukee was interested in Kyrie last year

and he didn't want any part of that. Just rumors
and speculation and stuff that you hear, but he was
willing enough to give up Drew Holliday to bring in
Damian Lillard. Yeah, I had him separated, Manzie. I really
doub don't know if it's right or wrong, but I
separated them in not of winning a championship. It it's
just more of him staying in Milwaukee and what he
(26:48):
would need to do to stay in Milwaukee. So I
think once you leave, it is the automatic championship. But
if he would have stayed in Milwaukee and didn't win,
even though they were kind of competitive, I don't think that.
I think he would have been fine with his legacy,
if that makes any sense.

I think so too, But then why make those comments
That's what's weird about it, because I I, up until
he said those comments, I actually agree that. I thought
he wanted to stay in Milwaukee and just be competitive.
And when he said that, I was like, huh, all
this championship talk, because now we put so much, so
much weight on winning a title. That's why Damian Lillard
left Portland because we have put so much weight on it,

and I did not. I thought Jannis was he won
that one, and I thought he was happy with his
legacy and he would not want to leave Milwaukee, especially
because he's such.

A he seems like such a simple guy, like we
always see these videos of him and he's like, I
got this.

For free, this for free, this was given to me.
Like he doesn't care about the flashy stuff or any

on our podcast, she thinks that this is all a stunt.
I am listen, I don't. I don't love this relationship
talk that has somehow taken over the entire world, but

it is there. Jason is up in arms on who
leaked the news last night that what she was going
to attend the game on Sunday.

That's that's yeah, what Jordan Schultz had at first, Okay,
that she's going to be attending the game on Sunday,
And my mind automatically went to where did he get
this information? Who's feeding him the information to leak? And
then it gets into how genuine is this thing? And
it kind of feeds into what's her name?

I mean, I've kind of said fraud from the very beginning,
but I mean, just that kind of stuff just kind
of feeds into my theory on.

That she was taking the body language of the video
that Jarrett Payton took of Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift
walking by in the in the tunnels of Arrowhead Stadium
is the reason why she did not think that there
was any chemistry between the two and feel that this
is a fake relationship, this is a full relationship.

First of all, just because they weren't holding hands in
that five second video you saw, you are coming to
the conclusion that there's no chemistry there.

Also, what what is Taylor Swift getting out of faking
this relationship?

Absolutely nothing.

As I went around asking everyone I could in here
who's more famous, Lebron James or Taylor Swift, almost everybody
said Taylor Swift.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
Taylor Swift right now is the moment. She is everything.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
She does not need anything that Travis kelce can bring
to the table or the NFL. If anything, She's helping
the NFL and her history. Like, the one thing people
like attack her on is that she's dated a lot
of guys, but she's not married, has no kids, and
then she writes songs about it. Why would she fake
a relationship and then write a song about it?
Speaker 5 (33:53):
That makes no sense. There is no reason she would
be faking it. Are they gonna be together forever?
Speaker 4 (33:57):
Probably not.

They're probably just hanging out, having a good time and
going on dates.

You Yeah, you know you are onto something because sometimes
there may be stuff that has publicity stunts for someone
who needs a push. Yeah, someone who needs to step up,
as you said right now of where her level is
and where that tour went. I mean there's a movie
coming out right, Yes.

You go watch it's probably sold out. Yes, I'll probably
go watch it again.

Yeah, it's so like that. There is something to that
of does Taylor Swift really need this? I will say
there is, and I think that we've all been there.
There is nothing hotter and more romantic than the tunnel
of a football stadium. So why they weren't all over
each other making out right in front of the elevator
that goes up to the suites where you drop off

the food to the suites. I have no idea, but yeah,
it's also awkward when there's everybody standing and you're making
your way through.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Right exactly, they know they're being watched. Everything they're gonna do,
somebody is watching. That video was seven seconds long. You
barely saw them. They turn a corner. Yeah, they weren't
holding hands. Okay, they also walked out together. Would you
have said, oh, they didn't leave together. They left separately,
like they can't win, they can't win again. Are they
gonna be together forever? I don't think so. It'd be

great if they are. I just think that they're having
a good time and they're ding.

One of the things that was brought up, and I
do believe El Duncan made this point of how quickly
this has all happened, And I know other people made
the point of would you be in the suite with
you know, your significant other's mother immediately like this? This
does seem to be it does seem to be pretty quick.

For how long how quickly you would go to meet
your parents?
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Meat?

I mean, I mean, I mean it's a LaCOSA. You
and I as normal people.

Sure they're not normal people like Taylor Swifts could go
online and find out the things that you find out
when you first meet somebody.

What's your favorite color, what do you like to do?
They're past that, even though they may have never met online.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
I could do a quick search and get an idea
of the type of person that Taylor is and Travis
Kelce is, so like they're already on date ten even
though it's date one.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
But I think it is fair to say, like who
benefits more from this and your point about Taylor Swift,
it may be real for her, it's the Travis kelcey
portion of it, because he is getting the bump, Like
there there is a bump to Travis kelce which, by
the way, he doesn't have anything to lose. He's a
two time Super Bowl champ coming off of a season

where they're trying to go back to back, but there's
not a lot at stake when it comes to his
future and reputation. Yeah, so if she's saying that it's
a stunt, it doesn't mean that both PR departments have
gotten together. It may be a stunt just from Travis
kelce side of things.

I hope not because if then that comes out, that sucks.
I hope not. I really think.

I just they're both famous people, they're both attractive, and
maybe initially it was a joke that Travis Kelcey wanted
to hand her his friendship bracelet with his number on it,
you know, and then she was like, oh, did you
hear this guy said this? And all of a sudden
they started talking. This is what happens when you're famous.
You get to all of a sudden talk to another
famous person like you've been friends forever.
Speaker 5 (37:21):
That just happens. And maybe it didn't, and maybe it
was all a joke, and then they were like, oh, no,
you are Yeah, you're cute. Yeah no, let's hang out.
Let's see if this is something we can do for
a couple of days.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Something just you struck a struck, a chord, a light
bulb in my head that went off that I can see. Yeah, no,
thank you. I do appreciate it because they aren't like us,
and I do think that relationships are different. This may
start quickly, but it can also just end quickly. And
I think that, you know, and I'm completely sick of

the story, like I'm so over it. But but there
is the point of where I think, like there has
to be an endgame for it, instead of let's just
have some fun for a couple of months.

I'm making it very light on the situation of just
having some fun. Obviously there has to be an end
to it. But I'm saying right now they're probably just
getting to know each other. And she's on her a
break I think from her tour, because she's still on tour,
but I think she's gonna head internationally now.

She's on a little break, and so she's like, let's
let's see if there is something here.

John Ramos, Yeah, I do think wants to write about

friendship bracelets in high school and college to girls and

using really really bad phrasing and talking about this relationship,
but it doesn't have to be anything big.

It doesn't, and it also doesn't have to be fake.
Why can't they It's just because of how big she is,
who he is.

Like everyone's dissecting this and trying to tear it apart,
whether it's good or bad, and it's like, guys, just
let them hang out, let them date whatever.

she's the biggest pop star ever.

But I think part of that, part of what comes
with that relationship is all of this is showing up
at games in suites in New York in being like
if they're dating, she's not like I'm just gonna stay
home and watch the game because I don't want to. No,
that's not that's it's part of the deal, right, Like
part of the deal is her attending these things. It's

not like I'll wait till week nine. Like the fun
of it for her is to be, Oh, I'm dating
a player and I get to go and sit in
the suite and have fun and and you know, beyond
TV and that stuff, like yeah, like you wouldn't you
wouldn't just sit at home if you.

Were reading the right And also again like she's on
her break, I feel like this is why she's there
right now because she can't. And it's like she couldn't
have gone anywhere else. If she was sitting anywhere in
that stadium, somebody was gonna find her. So might as
well be in a suite.

If she was sitting anywhere, somebody would have been like,
this is Taylor Swift. She's here? Is that you know?

So your opinion is that they're both of them have
genuine intentions and they're just having fun.

I don't know. I well, I don't know if either
of us will ever to be proven right on us
but but I do. I do find this interesting that
that story that we read today from the ESPN anchor uh,
that kind of stuff is something I read, like as
I'm buying groceries, and I look over at all the
tabloid magazines and it's on the on the front, like

how far is Travis Kelsey gotten? Like and and to me,
what annoys me about just my day to day processes.
It has seeped into into my workplace, the tabloidish lifestyle
thing that I typically can just ignore, but I'm forced
to read now because I don't want to be got
that misses out on the fact that Travis Kelcey has

gotten the third base with Taylor Swift or whatever heard it.
And that's what kind of annoys me personally about this.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
And I understand that I completely one hundred percent. If
anyone told me I'm annoyed by this story, I don't care.
I get it once I understand obviously I care.
Speaker 5 (42:17):
I love Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
I don't care about Travis Kelcey necessarily, but I don't
dislike the guy. I another reason, sorry, light bulb, another
reason why I don't think this is a fake or
pr relationship. Apparently Travis Kelce's ex has said some stuff
on social media that is like attacking Taylor, and so
it's like, all right, you're jealous of Taylor Swift and
you're getting involved. All of that to me does not

make it seem like it's a publicity stunt.
Speaker 6 (42:43):
Do you think Taylor Swift know? Again, this is just
a question. Do you think she knows football and stuff?
You think she just enjoys like the atmosphere, like when
she was banging again, it was all about just him
in that moment. Do you think she understands like what's
going on out there?
Speaker 2 (42:58):
She's being in the glass, right, John, Yeah, that's what
you're talking. Yeah, what did I say? No, you just
said she was banging. I just wanted to put some context.
Speaker 6 (43:11):
I bet she was, yeah, hitting the glass. I'm sorry, Yeah,
I feel that. Not that she has to, that's my boy.
It's just do you think she she knows football? And
she's into football, and therefore she knows that type of
He's obviously she's obviously in her music, so he knows,
right right.
Speaker 3 (43:27):
I am gonna guess that she is a fan of
football a little bit just in general. You know, she
knows that you have four chances to move ten yards.
Maybe that's as far as she knows. But you like sports,
and I think she likes you know, sports and is
like having a good time and they.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
Get their rocks off on the same thing. Like she's
like trying to she's excited to see her man get
in the end zone and score a touchdown, and just
like he would be excited to see her walk out
on stage.
Speaker 6 (43:53):
Yeah, and like there's valid points, the.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
Confidence, you know, the you know you know it. This
is with anybody, Like it's so's active to see somebody
do what they do at a high level, and so
you're brought in and you're like, oh wow, that is amazing.
And that's where I think that is. Yeah, yes, But
it's also like I would bet if you gave a
roster of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelcey is not

the hottest guy in the Chiefs, Okay, I would. I
would almost guarantee it, Like there's no way I'm team Paco.
Like I think that there are other probably better looking
guys on the team, but nobody's Travis Kelcey. And that's
the thing about it as well, is it's not like

she's dating the long Snapper or the you know, the
Safety and the Dime package, you know, like you know
the other dB. It's it's Travis kelcey and because of
who he is and because of who she is, and
that's brought them together. And that's why I just don't
think that it's like. I think they're just having fun
and it's probably just gonna go away at some point.

But to say that it's fake, I don't know. I've
heard of fake relationships out of necessity, they're out of publicity,
and they go actually go on longer than people probably realize,
But I don't think that it's entirely the case.

And it's always to push something, right, it's to push
something she doesn't need to push.

For her tour. The Kansas City Chiefs just want a
super Bowl. They don't need that. If anything, in the
NFL is the one that's getting something out of this.

Say is it is quite interesting because Travis kelce looks
nothing like the men she's dated. All of the men
she's dated are like very artistic, very slim. I would say, simple,
even though or sometimes not simple, because Harry Styles is
a little bit of a fun cuckoo bird there.

Travis Kelcey is like like a lumber jack, you know
what I mean. Like he's like a big man.

And so it's just like different than who she's dated
in the past that we know of, that we know of.
She maybe has other you know, men that she's dated
that we don't know about.
