Speaker 1 (00:12):
Fucky Ben. What's up baby? How you doing, Doug?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
I know you just got me on here because I
said crazy stuff all the time.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
All the time.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
I love it, like the last one, the last one.
If John Moran wasn't running around acting crazy?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Who is that guy?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I see his name on Twitter? But I have no
idea who he is.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
You don't know who JOA. Moran is?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I know I see his name on Twitter and they're
always talking about doing crazy stuff, like he's like going
to the Virgin Islands or something, and he's to be
playing a basketball game. No, no, no, he's probably a
basketball player or something.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Drama rants, a basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies. He's
insanely talented. You gotta know who John Moran is.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
You got a basketball player? I don't. We don't watch
basketball player none. You don't watch the Bucks? Zero?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Dang man? What do you watch?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Wrestling?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
MMA?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
And discoll?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
This golf?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
So wait, you play that disc golf in your backyard.
You can play all those times and it never gets born.
You still want to play that same course.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I love it. I love it. I'm addicted. I'm a
simple man.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
You're a very simple man. Man.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I got you on because it's actually I'm not even
having you on anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
This is me and you fucking the champion.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
We're a thing, right, Like we've passed that, We've passed
that part of our relationship where we're like sneaking around.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
We're like now like a thing. Right.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
So it's like, I never had a relationship like that.
I mean, I can't speak for you. I did not
have one of those Oh you're such a liar.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
You you absolutely had a role when you were the
king of Missouri University. You had relationships where you were
just kind of like, oh, we're kind of together, but when.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, that's fair. But but I didn't lie to him.
I didn't lie to him. I didn't I tell you, Hey,
I'm in love with you. I'm actually seeing three other women.
It's like, hey, we're hanging on Tuesday night, and you know,
whatever happens happens, and this.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Guy right here, Ben, you're telling way too much.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
You're telling way too much. Ben.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
What you do watch is MMA. Yes, the Ultimate Fighter
started yesterday. So Connor McGregor is dominating the news cycle again.
You got people calling this dude out all the time
because obviously is the easiest route to superstardom Alexander Bolkanowski,
the Great Featherweight Champion, all the way to guys like
Matt Brown, who is now the tied for the lead

(02:29):
in UFC knockouts. But Matt Brown fighter Conna McGregor would
not be something that.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
You will Why why?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Why?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Matt Brown? Matt Brown is forty some years old.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
He Hey, you wanna hear crazy staff? I gotta call
these staff for you. Tell me who's the last person.
I'm gonna quiz you first, who's the last person Connor
marigor is beaten in the UFC who is not currently retired.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
The last person Connor beat and was retired well beating
a D He's.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Not in the UFC anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Naz is not retired, but Nat fighting, he's still fighting, right,
So it's like you can't all right, But if you're
talking the uf first, not in the UFC, A person
that's a person that's still in the UFC, you mean yes, correct,
Max Holloway Dustin Poitier.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Dustin Poitier twenty fourteen. With the last person Connor McGregor
has beaten who's still in the UFC. The guy's one
in three in the last six years. I don't know nothing.
We haven't seen him fight. He might not beat Matt Brown.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Well, here's the thing, right, the last time we saw
him fight a guy that was seemingly at the tail
end of his career was colwst Throne and that lasted
a minute, right, So that type of competition, I don't
know if they can go with Connor. But Matt Brown
did call him a little juiced out, coked out, like
Matt Brown. Matt Brown's out of his mind, bro. So

(03:55):
he's saying the right things to try to draw a
fight out of him, right, just to insult him. But
when you see videos of Condor at the Moonico GP
and he's dancing and he's partying, you're like, is Connor
McGregor getting ready for a fight or is Connor McGregor
overlooking Michael Chandler.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah, well, I mean that's kind of what I was saying.
What the other thing I was thinking is well, when's
the last time you seen like a training video of
Connor McGregor. Every video I see, he's partying, he's dancing,
he's drinking. Yeah, I just like, I don't know, is
this guy taking it seriously anymore. And listen, he's rich,
he can do whatever he wants apparently. But yeah, we

(04:32):
also don't have to consider him a really elite fighter,
and he needs to prove that to us again.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
So you think because we don't have to consider him
an elite fighter, it's okay to fighter Matt Brown, I.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Don't hate it. I mean, it's never gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Let me ask you this, though, does a Conor McGregor
Matt Brown do pay per view numbers like some of
these other names that does Connor McGregor need.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
A dance partner?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, you know, he needs a dance partner to do numbers.
And listen, I am not under the beliefs that Conor
McGregor is ever gonna fight regularly. I saw it. He
came out the things and said, I'm gonna fight three
or four times in the next year. That ain't gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
You don't think.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
So he's about four times and six years. Why would
he fight three or four times a one year. That's
crazy talk, you know. And I'm not even convinced he's fighting.
Michael Chandler.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I'm really why I'm doing The Ultimate Fighter in debut
yesterday's back in You Saw?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
What's the album?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, he has he submitted a test.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
He is back in You Saw.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I don't know if he's been tested yet, but he's
back in the testing pool, which is step number one,
right Ben, all.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Right, you know that would be step number one. I
don't think he's actually submitted a sample. So yeah, I mean,
maybe I'm being a hater here, maybe I'm being a skeptic,
but I want to see him fight someone.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
He's won in three in his last four that is
over the last six years. He is the one win
against Donald SERRONI he just hasn't been active at all.
I mean we have we've seen almost none of them.
We haven't seen him since July of twenty twenty one.
That was what's that like, almost two.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Years and years ago when he broke his leg. It'll
be over two years by the time he comes back.
I imagine he'll fight sometimes in December. But Matt Brown is
not the only person talking about McGregor. Right, you had
Alexander Volkanowski, who, if you ask me after what I
have seen from him, might be the toughest guys out. Dude,

(06:19):
How good is this?

Speaker 2 (06:20):
He's so good?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I mean, I mean, it's it's really hard to like.
It's really hard because he's so good that if we
have to make a comfort accompt to like someone else
in any other sport, he literally sits at the very top.
So you're talking about the elite of the elite wrestlers,
the elite of the elite basketball players. But then it
seemed like Connor was going back and forth with him,

(06:41):
and Volkanovski seemed ready to fight him at whatever way he.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Wanted to ben.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
I mean, if you were Alice Volkanowski, why wouldn't you
fight him? You should think that he's probably not quite
as good as the other people who are at the
very top of that division. It's probably unlikely, and you know,
he's probably you're probably paid more to fight him, So
why would Why wouldn't you want to fight him?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
And of course you would, right, But why does McGregor?

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Does McGregor just have a problem not allowing anyone to
say anything?

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Is that why he responds to everyone?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Because responds to so many people, it would.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Not seem like that would be a fight for Connor
McGregor Alexander Volkanowski.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Well, I think Connor and his delusions of grandeur, probably
still sees himself at the top of the heap, and
probably still sees himself getting another belt. And there's a
chance because listen, here's the thing about Michael Chandler. I
love Michael Channer. He's my college he made. But every
Michael Chandler fight is almost a coin flip because, like
there's a chance he's gonna kill this dude, Like there's

(07:41):
a chance he'll just go put him down, boom, put
him down. But then he's gonna try some crazy shit,
and there's a chance he might get put down, you know.
So it's like McGregor hits hard. I don't know, Like
I want Michael to win, but it could go either way.
And if it goes either way and it's a huge fight,
they might throw him for a title.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Who knows.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
A year ago, when they started talking about Connor McGregor
coming back, I knew it would be Michael Chandler because
of everything you just said. Because Mike's gonna stand with him.
For as good as Mike is in wrestling, he won't
use it. And I kind of know why. Well you
know why though, because last time he thought Dustin he
used it early and he got tired. I never saw him,
and it's so hard to wrestle over a long fight.

(08:24):
He got a little bit tired, and I think that's
why he doesn't wrestle as much as he does, And
also that's why Justin Gatchee doesn't wrestle as much as
he can, because they.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Get a little bit fatigue.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
But I think the Volkanowski fight makes sense only if
Connor still has those designs of becoming the champion, because
if he doesn't, that fight is so risky to fight
it without hoping to somehow earn a time.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I mean his Chadler McGregor's won step Indeed.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I think, why, hey, bro, how much of a problem
is it that when Connor's telling Michael like this, let's
did they tell you to wait yet? Michaels know what
is and he goes, it'll be at one eighty five,
and Mike's like, you want to do eighty five, let's
do it. He's like, you'll do what you're told, And
it seems like Mike's almost agreeing that everything he's saying,
Like how bad is that for Michael Chandler to kind

(09:16):
of almost just like not really like take a stand
and go now we're gonna come to an agreement, both
of us gonna decide not you say, your show.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, well, you know the thing about weight classes is
this is the weight class is gonna make sure they're
they're both the same size. These guys are both the
same size. That's why.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
You know.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
It's like sometimes if you are competing as someone and
they said, let's go up with if you know what,
the guy's in the same size, and who cares, you know,
and maybe both of them don't want to cut weight,
and honestly, you know what, I was actually just thinking,
like Connor gets really tired too. So Connor and Michael, Shit,
if they make it a round two, these dudes are
gonna be tired. It's gonna be awesome. It's gonna be

(09:55):
like Luke Rock holds last by whenever you're throwing well Haymakers,
it's gonna be Oh.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
So.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
The other reason why Michael Taylor doesn't uh doesn't wrestle,
it's probably because, I mean, he's one of the those
popular duds infc. Because he just does wild stuff the
whole time. I mean, he just gets in there, he
just throws down, that's what he does.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
He's exciting, bro but he hasn't had the success that
he probably could have had if he did more of
what got him to the show. And also, hey, you
know what was my favorite part of the Luke rock
Hole fight. When Paulo Costa hit him in the nose.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
That was I was so ridiculous, bro, When Paulo Costa
hit him in the nose and Luke was bleeding profusely
and Luke was against the side of the octagon and
he said fuck.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
You and he threw the left hand.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Oh, it was so ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
And it looks like universally loved leaving the octagon. But
he couldn't. He couldn't end onn it. You had to
fight again.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
But that's why Dagel, that's why m and may Fields
are crazy. If you just say, like, screw it up,
I just gonna try to go nuts still, like ah
you are now I hate you little Grocoles, but now
you're my favorite fighter ever.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
He was universally love. Yeah, you had to fight again.
Last one. This one was quite like this one like
made all the sense in the world, right because as
you say, like you don't see kind of training much.
You see him doing a lot of other stuff. Jake
Paul in the middle of the night calls on Connor McGregor.
It's like three o'clock in the morning. It's fitting right
because it was he like, Jake Paul's gotta doing the

(11:33):
same thing. He's still calling for Connor McGregor. Why is
he so intent on Connor McGregor because he always says
he's the money fight. You lived on it, Ben, Like,
did you make more money from fighting Jake Paul?

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I got ash Uh, yeah, I did well.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
He always says he's the money fight. Why does he
need McGregor so much?

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Well, I think McGregor times Jake Paul makes everyone a
lot of money, and I think if he beats up
Ny Diaz, it makes a lot of sense. And you know,
I don't know what Connor's contract is or his relationship
with the UFC. If he can go go get it done.
But yeah, I think a lot of people by that fight.
I think there's a lot of casual fans who just
want to see a boxing match. And you know what,
Jake Paul is actually not bad at boxing, and maybe

(12:15):
I'm just trying to make myself feel better potentially, but
he did beat Tyron, he did beat Airs and Silva.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
So I watched I watched him against I watched him
against that Tommy Fury.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yeah, I didn't want a real boxer.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
He didn't look that good.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
He started spamming overhand rights, and the guy just knew
a little bit more and he boxed enough to where he.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Was able to kind of really limit Jake and what
JA can do?

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Ben, you said in ads and and Jake Paul, You
think that Jake Paul beats an ideas in a boxing.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Match, I imagine. So I don't think Jake Paul would
beat Tyron or Anderson Silva. So yeah, I kind of
think so.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
The Anderson silver one really did throw me for a loop,
because the moment he did that, I was like, Oh,
this dude's actually pretty good.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Ben. I love you, bro, but I.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
I know I can't.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Why Why did you box right? Never thought you were
gonna fight.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
It sounded like fun and I hope he sucked. We
didn't know at that point. At that point he only
boxed a comedian or something and a basketball player, so
we didn't know nothing. I thought he hopefully this dude
just a bum. He did try to hit me.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Hard for a round.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
He's gonna get tired and then I'm gonna beat him up.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Ben, you had fought Damien Maya, and both of y'all
couldn't really box. It's like, why did you think you
were gonna go box somebody with tenhewles gloves?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
My brother, I wouldn't even box. I thought I had
better stand up.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
When Jake Paul had fought a basketball player and the
comedian and you in the box him, you're full of crap.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I probably would have boxed him. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
And you know what, you probably boxed someone on a
Friday night because you think it's fun. If I brought
boxing gloves to you right now, Danielle, and I said, hey,
put him on, I'm gonna beat your ass. You put
him all and you try to beat me up against you,
not everybody. What about Jake Paul. What if Jake Paul
show up your studio right now, he said, let's go, you.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Put him off. I probably box him. I probably box him. Yeah,
you're right, you're right, I probably will. I probably will
box him because I'd.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Be like, so, listen a couple of fights ago, after
he beat there A sa Silva, I might have to
box him, but then I have to watching the last
fight I'm like, Okay, maybe I can still box.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
So yeah, you're right, it's all perspective, a perspective.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Yeah, just like to compete, dude, you love to compete.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
But yeah, I just didn't know about that one. My brother.
I just.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
No, you made money, and I'm pretty sure you still
got all of it because you're the type of guy
that doesn't.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Really use it. So yeah, my man, you got paid right,
so ultimately worked out.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Hey, can I say I read this one? This this one,
Jake Paul, Jake Paul was coming off. I was kind
of mature. I had to do my research because I
didn't know he got into would Connor again when.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
You told you.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
He said, I'm gonna do what Nate couldn't. I'm gonna
knock him the f out. You be sitting there with
a new beer company that's failing, drinking it drunk as
f realizing you pitch your life away drinking. At the
end of the bottle, you're gonna say, damn. I really
thought no one's gonna do what I did in the sport.
I really thought no one's gonna be as big of
a name. I really thought it was the biggest ever.
But you can't choose and have both lives. You can't

(15:24):
have the fun party cocaine and be the greatest fighter
in the world.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
I was like, damn, I'll get some wisdom. He but
he went on record and said all that he really
wanted to fight this. He really wants to fight Ben because.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Kind of the truth right that you here's.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
It's hard to straddle between the lines.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Right everybody thinks, like everybody thinks that Dogastani's are a
little bit much because they're so strict.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
But because they're so strict is why they win so consistently,
and it's it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
When you're living the life of an athlete, it's hard
to really straddle between the lines because ultimately that other
side usually wins, right, Like we saw guys like Dennis
Robin and all those great ballplayers, Lawrence Taylor for so
long able to kind of manipulate it. But the moment
it becomes a little bit too much, and I think
a lot of people have to be very wary of that. Guys,

(16:15):
before I let you go to gotta pay some bills.
