Speaker 2 (00:30):
All right, guys, UFC three point fifteen, just wrap and
we have a new well toweight champion and Jack Dela Madelena.
And as always, I bring you my pull fight reaction
video live from octagon side, presented by Todo Wireless, the
official wireless.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Fighter of the UFC.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
They are in your corner with unlimited five Z data
that will not slow you down. Guys, We're in Montreal
and Jack Della gets his opportunity to fight for the
world championship, and boy did he not disappoint. It was
a virtuoso performance from the new champion.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
From the moment he stepped into the octagon, you could.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Tell that we were looking at mouth Let me have
a napkin, We were looking at.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
A completely different Jack Dela Madelena. Why this all clear?
Myself up for you, guys. There we go. Guys.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
This guy's striking looked amazing tonight. His takedown defense looked amazing. Tonight,
Jack Dela Madelena was as good as we've ever seen
him in the octagon. They say, when you finally earn
an opportunity to fight for the belt, you need to
be more prepared than you've ever been. That is the
case for Jack Della today. The kid had so much confidence.
(01:49):
Both of the fighters seemed a bit weird to me.
When the fight started, Jack was waiting by the octagon
door for the Law. The Law was dancing. I thought
both of them showed a little bit in nerd his
energy as the fight was about to get on. But
when the moment that the fight started, you could tell
Jack Dela ma Adelanta was in his zone. His jab
looked phenomenal. He was switching between his stances effortlessly. He
(02:13):
was defending takedowns at a crazy high rate. This is
the same guy that we saw Basila Fans take down
multiple times. This is the same guy that Gilbert burn
Stok down seven times before he was able to finish him.
And tonight against Balal Mohammet, he gave up zero takedowns
until the fourth round. I was talking about Belal in
(02:36):
the fight, saying he was fighting the wrong fight. Because
he was standing and trading with Dela Mattelana. But the
reality is I don't think he had an option to
do anything but standing trade with Jack Dela Mattlanta because
he looked that good.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
His right hand.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Landed so many times over the course of his fight,
and if Balal didn't have such a great chin, he
would have been put out. I think what impress me
the most, though, outside of the takedown defense, was his
willingness to fight. We saw this kid on the Dana
White Contennent series in a battle, so we knew immediately
that he was tough.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
We knew that he would not quit on himself.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
We knew that he had cardio, and we always knew
he had tremendous striking.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Tonight that striking was very evident.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
But the toughness was back on Ford's play tonight because
he took some damage. But boy did he dole out
some damage to Muhammed over the course of twenty five minutes.
In round five, he landed a knee that cut the
former champ real bad. He got taken down, twise, got
right back up to his feet, went right on the gas.
His combination punching was second to none. When he started
(03:44):
digging and just throwing multiple punches. Blaw really had no
answers for him. As for the former champ, I don't
know why he stood so much. If in round four
and five he was able to successfully get taked down,
he said to his coaches, he's too slippery, coach, and
I don't give a fuck, go get me a takedown.
(04:08):
He was able to do that in four or five.
You would imagine with more effort he might have been
able to do it in a round one to two.
But ultimately, it's not about what Balal did not do.
It's all about what Jack Dela Madelena actually did. He
fought a wonderful fight and now he is the UFC
walterweight champion. And you would think that when you get
a big win like that, there's a lot of time
(04:29):
to celebrate. Unfortunate for Jack Della right away he gets
Islami Kaja. The UFC said the other day at the
press conference, Jack Della wins, Mahayev will go up and
fight Jack Dela Madelana for to walterweight champions, for the
world number one pomp bound guy in the world, and
Della Madelana will fly up those pound bound rankings. This
is an undefeated guy in the UFC, a guy that
(04:50):
has not lost in seven to eighteen straight fights now,
a guy that's carrying confidence of beating a guy like
Baal Mahma. If there's a guy to fight before you
fight Islam, it's a guy like Blaw who wrestles.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
And uses it as his main.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Tool and be able to defend in the way that
Jack Della did. And I'll get into that matchup a
little bit more as we get close to that fight,
but just know I'm very excited about it, as I'm
pretty sure all of you guys are too. Valentina Chefchenko
once again retained her championship. Molonfa you have fought valiantly,
(05:26):
but once again, Valentina Chefchenko got the job done.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
She's the best. She's always been the best. She's been
the best for her six years now.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
She's been the best and fought for the championship twelve
times now.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
She's one double digit UFC title fights.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
She has shown time and time again that she can
get through anything. She's as tough as anyone and nothing
will deter her. That was a tough fight against a
very big girl, and she got the job done. It
was a close fight, it was a competitive fight. I
don't feel any worse about Monofi or I just respect
even more the greatness of Valentina. As Brad Slater, my agent,
(06:08):
has texted me because he told me this morning Belaw
would lose.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
And he loves being right.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
That's more than him making money or us making money together.
He just loves being right. So Slater, you were right,
my friend. But hats off to the champ Valentine chef Chenkos.
She once again shows that she's as good as they come.
Amans A Hobby and Jose Aldo fought one of the
funnest fights I have ever seen in my entire life.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Amans A Hobby was hurt so bad in round three, and.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
The fact that he got up not only all survived
getting hurt by jose Aldough, but completely battered and bruised
him down the stretch to take the victory was super impressive.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
You know, so many people when you come.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Into a game, likes a hobby with a brother like
Farroz to get left and you get forgotten.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
No one's gonna forget amons A Hobby anymore.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
After what he did tonight against the great Jose Aldo,
who retired in the octagon. Uh. When I think of although,
I will think about one of the greatest fighters of
all time, a guy that was so good at multiple
weight classes and truly didn't move the sport forward. And
when Jose Aldo got to the UFC and they made
him the first bettherweight champion of the world, it just
(07:22):
felt right. There was ever a person that deserved to
just get a belt when he got here, it was
Jose Aldo.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
And he went on to defend that championship so many times.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
But from the weight missed this week to the fight
where he got so fatigued he said he just does not.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Have it in him anymore. All those retired before, but
this one felt different.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
It felt like that was the last time we would
hear run this town and see the great Jose Aldo
walk to the octagon.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Natalia Silva's good, really really good, and.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Valentine Jevchenko one tonight, but looking at her next challenger,
it may be more difficult than what she even fought
tonight against Manofjor because Silva never stops moving.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
She's constantly in motion.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
She's so fast, so athletic, and so gifted that she's
a very difficult matchup for anyone and four chef. Take
on a champion who has seen so many people and
fought so many high level fights. To go into the
reserve and have to do it again against a challenge
like that is going to be extremely difficult. But congrats
Natalia Silva on a fantastic performance over a former champion
(08:32):
in Alexa Grosso. Ben Roalsandani did exactly.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
What he was supposed to.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
I told him in round one when he got the
first takedown, anything less than dominance would not suffice in
this situation.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
He said it himself in the fighter meeting, I've got
to dominate.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
I've got to look good, and he did that with
that beautiful arm triangle finish. Mike Mallat taking on Radkey, Dude,
these guys had so much beef to knock him out
in the way to he did. Mike Malott showed and
defended his country in the way that you would expect
him to.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Jasmine Jazz the visiist earlier.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
In the night before the Talisible fight, I thought she
was gonna be the one that made it a title
fight next, but after the Tali Silvers fight, I figure
she will be the next one. Bukowskas versus Kute Lab
was one of the worst decisions I've seen in a
really long time.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I don't even know how they got.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
To thirty twenty seven. Mark Rattnan goes, you can't get
thirty twenty seven. There's no way to get there for Bukowskas.
Tom said something about judges having to put their face
on their cards.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
I think they should do that.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
You cannot be in cognito and make a decision like
those guys did tonight. Uh beautiful, uh finish by Daniel Santos. No,
no decision by Daniel Santos A big win. Hey, Almacan
with that beautiful uppercut in the beginning of the night
(10:00):
was crazy, beautiful, finished, beautiful operacut over Brad Katona.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
So we're adding a new segment to.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
The post fight reaction videos in this Mike Total Wireless
Fighting Spirit Award, where I will give someone from the
fight card my total Wireless performance of the night, essentially
and honestly, for as many great performances as we had.
I had Burial with that crazy knockout of brutal silver
that due was out of six minutes.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
After the fight.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
I had Mike Mallott, But ultimately it's about the new champion,
Jack Della Madelena. So my first Total Wireless Fighting Spirit
Award goes to Jack Della. He showed so much heart,
so much spirit in winning that championship that there really
is no question there is no one that stood above
the new.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Champion on UFC three fifteen.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
His grit, his determination is striking that full display of
what mixed martial arts is supposed to be allowed for
Australia to have another great champion.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Jack Della Madelena was.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Very emotional when I told him now he gets to
stand amongst the Australian graades. He spoke about that before,
warning to be thought of life, vote, to be thought
of like Robert Whitticker. Well, now kid, you are right
in line with those guys and you deserve it and
for that you are my first Total Wireless Fighting Spirit
Award winner.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Hey, some big news came out of this fight. We
know multiple.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
