of operate man. How's life?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Oh? Life is beautiful, very good. I'm enjoying us, enjoying
the process.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yes, well, thanks for checking it with me. Thanks you
get ready for you.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Telling me having me here in your in your podcast
or your YouTube.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, yeah, for sure. Hey, why why were you guys dancing?
You and Sean O'Malley your friends. I don't understand this.
Like your friends you good friends?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
No, no, we're not good friends. But I I like joke,
you know, I.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Like having fun this. Umar said you guys should not
be dancing. He said, he's a shame that Sean ol
Maley is the champion in your weight class.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
So yeah, I saw, I saw that.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
He said that with you.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
But hey, man, that's not always the best guy wins.
And that's why you know, we we we fight and otherwise,
you know, it's not always the tallest guy or the
shongest guy or like this guy's wings showing him at
the champion now and then, well, you know, like little

(03:04):
things can change everything. So that's why I have to
show up ready and do my job.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
You know, watching you, you might be the most interesting
guy I've seen on social media. First off, last year,
I think I might have seen you riding a horse.
That was crazy, you're riding a horse or something like that.
Then I saw you at a jiu jitsu event and
a fan was heckling you and you grabbed him by
the top of his head. Dude, I mean, are you

(03:34):
just love me? What what? What what happened there? Like
I saw h Armant's Rukian got a guy on the
way to the octagon. You went picked him up by
his hair? What made you do that? What was the
guy saying that made you go get him?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah? I was watching Jiujits so much chess and the
only one guy from the crowd. He was yelling at me,
and he was disrespecting me, like he's calling me like
shown is your daddy?

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Oh god?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
And I make I can't talk to him, like I'm like,
look at him and he's not shut up, and I
tell him like I call him shut up, and then
he just keep going. I said again, shut up, beach,
you know, And he wasn't stopping, and he was. He
was actually keep going more loud because he now he
saw me.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
You see that you're interacting with him, you're talking to him.
But I give him, this is not a this is
not a game of course not.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
You know, if we are fighters, we are maybe nice.
You are nicest guy, but if somebody messed with you,
I know you're gonna You're gonna and say it and
asking responsibility right the same same we are tough people
and somebody, somebody from no nobody like the disrespects you.
They have to take a responsibility, you know, because we

(04:48):
are fighters. So me and we are talking now, Yes,
he makes fun of me, I make fun of him,
but we're gonna fight, and then maybe after the fight
we shake hands, like because if we give the could
fight each other. But who the fuck is the guy?
Because nobody, you know, like what he done, Like he's
just sitting in the crowd somewhere on top and then

(05:09):
trolling on me. And he's like, he done nothing. You know,
cut weight, you don't training every day. He don't have
a discipline, doesn't he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
He hasn't earned that.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Respect, exactly. And I hated the guys like the same
thing like Internet, like now everybody expect everybody doctor, everybody.
Everybody tried to disrespect you what they've done in the life,
you know, like and like they criticized me. And so
that's why I tell him to shut up, and he
don't shut up. I said come here, I come there,

(05:38):
and he don't come. Of course, then when I go,
then everybody said like said please please yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, after.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
After hend please yeah exactly. Yeah. But now it's over.
I make yeah, exactly. I had to go there and
I had to bully him.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
You tell, I said, like.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Should I? Yeah? Oh I wish I remember what I
tell him, but yeah, I was just telling, uh, if
he get up or if you start to fight me,
of course maybe, but yes, anyway.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah, it's kind of it. It was kind of crazy
to watch. But you've had a whole bunch of interesting
things that have happened in the build. So from the cut,
daya white and the cut, YO been asking and I
do a podcast and I said, it's not that big
a deal. Way too much time to recover the from
the cut and to me, it tells me you were

(06:37):
training very hard, but then you take it out with
the U bro. What is going on like morale? Dude? Ay? Georgia, man,
you know this.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
You are busy, busy, and I don't have time to
go back to I always take stitches myself, always, always.
Actually the first time I tried to take out with knife,
oh my god, I wasn't cutting because.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Are you witnessing all this ship? Oh my god?

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah. So then I go in Gebet Caesar from kitchen
and just cut it off.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
So are you doing all this stuff like knowingly now
just messing around because then he goes I think he's
just messed with because then we saw you like out
where you're drinking. But I know you're drinking water out
of a shoplass because you're not crazy. Like I was like,
he's not drinking, but are you just kind of messing around? Controlling?
How do you have that much fun in this bill? Bro?

Speaker 3 (07:34):
That's I am who I am. I like to have
a positive energy. And uh, you know we're a fighters,
we're not We're not a politician.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
You know you want to get his water out?

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Jump I'm good and uh uh uh you know so yeah,
I don't hide nothing. You went like the old window
when I break my head when I jumped the ice
and nobody was there. I have this with you, and
I posted different people with a lot of people will
criticize me. Even when I posted. My brother was first

(08:07):
who called me. I have all the brothers. He called me. Please,
this is this is crazy. Don't don't post this. A
lot of people are saying you're stupid. I said, I
don't care.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
You know this is me. It's having fun. So you
said after the fight on Saturday, because Sean's the champ,
he's earned your respect to the hard work, the weight cut,
the management, all that. You guys may shake hands, but
it didn't start that way. You go into the out
there on after he beats Cheeto? Was cheto you beat?
He beats him out in Boston? Interest, Huto? Was it you? Al? Joe?

(08:39):
Who you fighting? Boston? Was before you? Right before he.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Don't you know he was sitting in the crowd. I'll jo.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
He goes out to start ship be Henry in Newark, right.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Like right, brackfast, don't come to you, and then you
take a jacket. It happened only two times, sees never
happened before.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah, what what made you do that? Okay, So because
you guys are extremely close, I'll take his moment.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
I'll joice my good friend, I'm his cornerman, and I'll
just movement. He just defends his butt. He's enjoying his
time talking jar Organ and h and we all met
Sarah very longer. Me I like quit, we're stepping away
and just waiting to, you know, celebrate this victory. Right,

(09:28):
but I'll just moment and then from nowhere comes you know,
he's Oh, he's he's yeah, it's like you know, he's
coming like trying to bully. I'll you, you know, and
then I'll just just done his job. You don't have
to fight again, you know, right. But and when O'Malley
get there, I make sure I run there. And I
was trying to be close, you know, because if O'Malley

(09:51):
tried something, yeah, I want to be there, you know.
And and I saw he's taking jacket up, and then
of course, like I grab his jacket, and once he
take off, he just when he take over, he wants
to just give somebody I don't know, I take it,
and then I want to make fun of him. That's
why I wear a jacket. And then they was talking
all join o'mali and I can wait too, like when

(10:13):
once they break out, like security break out, then I
run and I celebrate the new jacket. Yeah that was it.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
So you go when you fight. I remember you watching
you fight Puore Young and you took forty eight single
leg or double legged tips in five rounds, which was absurd.
I've never seen anyone take that many shots on anyone.
It seemed almost like you render him helpless because they
can't stop you from attacking. How did you develop that

(10:50):
relentless pace and pressure that allows for you to do
that over twenty five minutes.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Yeah, well, this years trying to do with al Jo
and uh, I have my I don't know if he's
the good unique style or I don't know. I have
a different style, you know, and it's m M A.
And I mixed it up with everything I can hit,
I can wrestling, I can do jiu jitsu, or I

(11:15):
have a good car deal and I mixed it up.
And if I if I need like strategy fight, I
can do it. But sometimes if I mix it up,
if I want to mix it up, I've been mixed
it up. And that's why now I have a ten
fighting strake and I'm still getting better and I'm still working.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
On going into Anaheim gets in her sahudo. Do you
know that that's the number one contenders fight and if
you win, you're gonna get a title fight? And then
how much do you rely on Alja who had fought Henry,
who had success in taking him down, to help build
the plan to go and fight a guy who's Olympic champ.
But the way you guys are able to take him down,

(11:57):
it's very surprising, at least to me, because al Joe
took him down and then you were able to take
him down, but you almost I mean you picked him
up and you kind of threw him down almost bullying.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Yeah, like I said before, you know, if we start wrestling,
Hanry with me, of course, but it's MMA, and that's
why it's we are MEMA fighters today. And like I
don't know if you know, but wrestling not my background.
My background is Judo Ensemble. But for I mean when

(12:30):
I start first training in MMA and Al Joe used
to take me down, like control me. But I get
better because MMA is different, you know, like uh so
and so my wrestling wasn't good at the beginning, but
now my wrestling for MMA is the.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Good, very good.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
You know what I'm saying. That's what I want to say.
But Handry hiss Oly picture be a good wrestler, but
in MMA, I use my wrestling good.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Could you feel him starting to wilt with the pace
of the pressure you were putting on it?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah? There, you know, after the first round, I know
that I can I can just do my own own
style and I can break him and I can just
slow down him because uh the more rounds after, you know,
the later later on I'm getting better and better.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
When you got told you had a title fight? What
what was the feeling?

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Oh my god? Were released? But I don't. I don't
got told until two months ago, exactly. I wasn't sure
even that long.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Yes, why what took so long?

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Okay, okay. How it works is so I go after
so after I did surgery and I was ready for fight,
I go talk to UFC, and I said, I'm ready now,
and I think I'll just should get his rematch for
O'Malley or if no rematch, I am the.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Next one hundred and eighty pounds. I saw is huge man.
You see his acid legs.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
But I mean, and the time Aljo wanted to rematch.
Now it's a different story. But and I said, I'll
just deserve to rematch if not al Joe, that I'm
here like I'm here next contender. They said, no, i'll Joe.
He has to go up on forty five and you

(14:29):
you have to fight Handy. I'm like, okay, okay, I mean,
but I said, okay, I will fight Handy even I
know it's top much another test, another challenge for me.
And I said, if I be Hendy do I will
get title five. We don't know, we don't know. It's
nothing guarantee. I'm like, okay, I got onto something else.

(14:52):
That's why I did, like I don't know, I try
to take yeah you know, yeah, so yeah, okay, yeah,
even after this fight, I I'm next contender. Yeah, I
was a backup fighter for o'mali Chitto Vera and but
still like, nothing guarantee here, and I wasn't sure, Like
nobody give me contract or anything like guarantee, and I

(15:14):
wasn't sure. That's why after I was making these skits videos,
I was chasing o'mali, so I was pushing to fight
at speed and everything else, and like, yeah, I kind
of knew, but I still not sure because like it's
been a long time I was waiting for title. But
like I'm like, I wasn't sure because it takes so long,

(15:37):
and I'm like, I'm like I wasn't anymore like.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Questioning.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Yeah, I was questioning still because I thought I was
gonna get it before. But because I don't get it,
I'm like maybe it's I don't know, I have to
so and then yeah, I got I got finally when
I got called from you see and they told me
I party for the bed, the man went and the
spear and then everything wow, everything after that. I was
waiting for so long and then everything together just like this.

(16:11):
And then one day I was excited because of it's
a huge of course, but after and now I'm just
focused with a fight and this is everything cool. But
you know, I'm a professional of your professional and just
I want to fight.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
You know, a couple more before I let you go round.
Henderson Hudo stated yesterday that he's hearing rumors that Sean
O'Malley is struggling in the gym, said that he can't
get off of his back, said he's getting taken down,
said that those are that's the information you get when
both gyms are in the same time, said that multiple

(16:45):
training partners of his have been in the gym with
O'Malley having their way with him in the wrestling, taking
him down and he's struggling to get up. Do you
put any stock to that? Did you hear that? Or
am I telling you that for the first time?

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Actually I had the first time. I mean I watched
you when uh Henry said Kama Rousbon's podcast about seam
Manley a little bit there were Hanny was talking something
but he don't say like whatever you say now, yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Can he keep you off of him? Can Charlamalley stop
you from taking him down?

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Of course he's like he's been doing good man, and
uh like, I mean if fight goes five rounds, of course,
not of course I will get him. Of course I
will take him down. But of course he has a chance.
You know, he has a knockout power. We will see,
you know, all he takes one punch and it's m
a only takes one mistake and same same I I

(17:40):
knock out people in amateur level before and even pro
pro you know I you know so, and then everything
is possible, of course, but I have to be professional,
and I'm professional. I'm I'm like like I said, not
always best fighter wins. I believe I'm the best fighter today.

(18:01):
But you know, I have to respect as a fighter,
and I have to go there and do my best
to make sure not make any mistake because you know
he can't hit hard.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You made a mistake against Marlon Rice and he hurts
you very bad. Many people point to that as to
why you will struggle with Sean O'Malley. For me, I go, well,
I kind of look at An opposite. I know that
you could take a turn of damage and still dominate
a fight. To those people that doubt you and say, well,
this shows me he could be hurt. What do you say, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
I say, I wish O'Malley hit me hard. Then he
will wake me up and then I will beat him easy.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
You know.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Listen, I need to get in funch and then come back.
I handry. He got me a little bit rock me,
you know, and then I came back him and stronger.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
You You like Sean O'Malley. You likes Sean o maler
the fighter the person.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
As a fighter, he's a good fighter, and now I
finally give him respect, you know people, but you know,
as a fighter he's okay. You know, he's a good fighter.
But as a person he's gossippy, you know, like he
talks and then makes fun of and then more he

(19:17):
he's kaki and he I think he looks people on
top like he you know, like yes, yes, yes, sir.
So he thinks he's better than other people. And the
mem may fighters athletes like restless. We are humble people,
you know, we just we are hard working people and

(19:40):
we know nobody's under period. You can lose, you can win,
and this is just you know, we are humble people.
But he's like because of his champion, because of his superstar,
he thinks he's better than other people, but he's not
real same. And you know, like I said, everybody has

(20:01):
his chance and everybody can knock you out or everybody
can win.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
You know, what did it mean for you to become
a champion? Georgian champion?

Speaker 3 (20:09):
This is a long time dream and this is would
be huge for for me first and for my legacy,
for my country. This is huge old country waiting for
this moment. And uh this is very important for a
small country Georgia because we need this, this happy moment

(20:31):
and uh uh and uh yeah man, I want to
feel organic, you know, and it's gonna be crazy.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Did you hear yesterday? Did you hear? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:46):
But thank you for pointing that was so funny when
you ask, he say again.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Man you're pretty guy, like pretty boy, good man? Your
nose is what happened? It looks broken. It broke many times.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
No, broken only two times.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
And you never fixed it. You never reset it. Women
must love that.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Oh but let me tell you what. I don't know
if loves this, I don't know, but.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
When I broke my nose, I will tell my girl
she had to kiss it. I'm like, just just kissing
a little just kid like it, make it a little better. Guys,
