and Spotify and all of that. And for our Spotify listeners,
our you know, biggest Spotify listeners should begin a nice
little Spotify rap video for me here in a few weeks.

(00:42):
All right, last week we needed to go three and
two to be at an even five hundred. We thought
we had the three and two locked up. Sadly the
Jags with an all time gag job. So we'll go
over it now. Atlantap plus six and a half against Indy.
They could have maybe should have won. They lose by

(01:05):
six in overtime. That's a winner. Tampa minus two and
a half against New England and by the way, let
me say one thing about Atlanta versus Indy. First, if
you remember, part of my handicap on that game was
this was Indie minus five and a half and then
they traded for sauce, it moved to six and a

(01:26):
half and I said, no, corner is worth a point
and that point ended up being the difference between a
one and the loss. Just saying, Tampa minus two and
a half against New England's on the wrong side of that,
that's a loser. Jacksonville minus won at Houston. They're up
nineteen against Davis Mills in the fourth quarter, they somehow lose.
Just pathetic. Chicago minus three and a half against the Giants,

(01:49):
maybe a little lucky they were down ten late they
came back to win. And Pittsburgh plus three against the Chargers.
That was a bad pick. So two and three, two
games under again, trudging along. Need to get hot, but
this is similar to last year, and last year we
finished red hot, so I'm not worried. Today's show is

(02:09):
brought to you by representing sponsor hard Rock Bet. That
time of year and every day feels like a big

the hard Rock Bet Stats Hub. It's loaded with trends, streaks,
and stats to help guide your picks. Numbers don't lie,
and neither does the data in there. Here are some
that stood out to me. Travis Kelcey has gone for

(02:54):
at least forty five yards receiving in seven straight Divisional games.
His total is set at forty three and a half
this week against the Broncos, and the Seahawks have won
ten straight on the road. They're underdogs in LA against
the Rams this week. Check out the stats up now,
get the edge and bet with confidence. Hard Rock Bet

(04:02):
gambling in Florida, call one eight eight eight admit it.
In Indiana. If you were someone you know as a
gambling problem wants help, call one eight hundred and nine
with it. Gambling problem Call one eight hundred gambler in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois,
New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, or Virginia. All right, I'm gonna
quickly run through the stay away since Demanday's not here today.

(04:23):
Will be a quicker show. Chargers at Jacksonville, Jacksonville getting
two and a half. I think the Chargers win. However,
that banged up Chargers oh line coming off a great
game against the Jags defense gave me just enough pause
to stay away, even though the Jags have looked just

(04:44):
so bad ever since they beat Kansas City. So I'm
staying away there. If I was going to go with
my lean would be the Chargers. Houston at the Titans,
the Titans getting six and a half. It's I cannot
lay a touchdown with Davis. I also can't bet the
Titans getting less than a touchdown, and so that's just

(05:07):
stay away. Cincinnati at Pittsburgh Pittsburgh laying five points. We
love Pittsburgh as a divisional dog. We really like Pittsburgh
laying less than three points in divisional games. We don't
so much love them laying five, So we're staying away there.
Carolina at Atlanta, Atlanta laying three and a half at

(05:30):
home Atlanta's I watched Atlanta for all sixty minutes last
weekend and it was just such a pathetic game plan that,
even though Carolina has been a really bad road team,
I just don't feel comfortable rolling with the Falcons, so
that's a stay away. Green Bay at the Giants, the

(05:51):
Giants getting seven at home. I green Bay's offense has
been so bad against bad teams that you feel like
you should just take the seven points with the Giants.
The problem is the boom bust potential of Jamis makes
it scary. I know they fired the coach, as long

(06:13):
as you get a fired coach bounce. I just feel
like a Jamis picked six to ruin a potential cover
is too painful, So I'm staying away. Seattle at the Rams.
The Rams are favored by three. I expect the Rams
to win by three, so the Lion is perfect. There's
no value there. Both of these teams, by the way,

(06:35):
are seven and two straight up and seven and two
against the spread. I'll stay away there. Baltimore at Cleveland
plus seven and a half if I had more when
we're recording this, there's still a little bit of question
about Lamar's health, so therefore I can't bet Baltimore. I

(06:55):
would never bet Dylan Gabriel getting you know, barely more
than a touchdown against a good team, and Baltimore's a
good team now. But because I don't know if what lamar,
what's going on with Lamorrow's stay away there. Detroit at
Philly Philly two and a half point favorites. I stared
long and heard at Detroit. If at any point this

(07:18):
line moves to three, I will jump on Detroit. But
at two and a half, it's just not I I
feel like fading the Eagles right now and getting less
than a field goal in Philly, particularly with potential bad
weather being a part of that game and what that
does to golf. That concerns me too much. But at three,

(07:41):
I bet Detroit and then Dallas at the Raiders. The
Raiders getting three and a half at just a gross
Monday night football game. I like Dallas, but Dallas also doesn't.
Betting on laying more than a field goal on the
road with the Cowboys is more respect and that team deserves.

(08:01):
The coltson Saints are on a bye, and that leaves
us these five picks. I liked Miami minus two and
a half against Washington when I briefly thought the game
was in Washington. I love it when it's on a

(08:23):
neutral site in Madrid. I think Washington is just flatly two.
Injured quarterback out a half dozen defensive players out that
Washington is so banged up, Miami all of a sudden,
sneaky good vibes. I know Tua has not done well

(08:45):
in his international starts, but one of those was against
the Chiefs. I'll throw that one out. I think Washington
is just right now one of the softer spots in
the league until Jaden gets back, and I'm laying less
than a field goal, I'll take Miami minus two and
a half from Madrid. Chicago getting three at Minnesota. I

(09:09):
didn't know this, but this is crazy. The Vikings are
zero to six against the spread after facing the Lions
under Kevin O'Connell. That one, I mean, that's that's It's
not nothing the that that applied the last week's game
against the Ravens. So maybe I wish I knew it then.

(09:31):
I thought Minnesota had a lot of opportunities against Baltimore.
I didn't think Baltimore played that well and they just
couldn't make the most of them. I think Chicago likely
wins this game outright, and I'm getting three points. Also,
I like getting that all of a sudden, very explosive

(09:52):
Chicago offense in a dome so Chicago getting a full
three at Minnesota. When I think Chicago can win out right,
I'll roll with them. Tampa getting five and a half
at Buffalo, I just don't know that right now. Buffalo
deserves to be laying more than three and a half

(10:17):
against any really good team, and I think Tampa's a
really good team. They're also, this will be the first
game maybe all year, where Tampa is the healthier team.
They might have Bucky Irving back, they might have Chris
Godwin back. At Buffalo meanwhile, is super banged up. I
don't need Tampa to win out right, even though I

(10:39):
think they could. I just need them to keep it,
you know, manageable and their healthier, and Buffalo I think
has some soul searching to do. Tampa plus five and
a half probably my I'm not gonna call it my favorite,

(11:00):
but I like this a lot, even though all the
trends are against me because Shanahan has not covered against
the Cardinals and Arizona is pretty good as a covering
team coming off a loss. But San Francisco minus two
and a half at Arizona, I think Arizona is a

(11:22):
bit of a mess. We just saw them get absolutely
demolished this past weekend. San Francisco reckon should have party back.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
I don't think there's a big difference between Purdy and
mac Jones at this point, but they should have party back,
and they are. They understand that it's gonna be between
them and Chicago for that final playoff spot. This is
a game you've got to take care of business. I
love that I don't have to lay three and a half.

(11:57):
Just feels like San Francisco can control this game and
win by three points. And I'm only laying the two
and a half. So I'll take San Francisco minus the
two and a half, and last, but not least, the
Chiefs laying three and a half at Denver. I be
if you got this right when it opened at three,
good for you. I may have gotten it right when

(12:20):
it opened at three, but I will still lay the
three and a half. I just do not think bo
Nicks can get this Broncos deep offense to more than
seventeen points. So then the question is do I think
the Chiefs can score twenty one even against that Denver defense.
I think they can. My real analysis of this game

(12:40):
and everything about it you can hear on yesterday's pod.
You know, around the ten minute mark, we get into
it if you want to hear more there. So our
five picks this week are Miami minus two and a
half in Madrid against Washington, Chicago plus three at Minnesota,
Tampa plus five and a half at Buffalo, San Francisco,

(13:02):
minus two and a half at Arizona, and Kansas City
minus three and a half at Denver. Before we get
to Demanse's teaser, which we will give you even though
he's not here, and even though he is ice cold.
You ever notice how everything keeps going up. Rent's going up,
streaming services going up. Your favorite burrito spot thinks Solza
should cost extra. Not with boost Mobile. With boost Mobile,

(13:25):
you and your phone bill don't have to play the
will this go up soon? Game? Why? Because boost Mobile
has an unlimited talk, text and data plan at a
price that will never go up. In fact, it's the
same price you'll pay for life. So switch now for
an unlimited wireless at a price that'll never go up.
Only on boost Mobile. After thirty gigs, customers may experience

(13:49):
lower speeds. Customers will pay twenty dollars per month as
long as they remain active on the boost unlimited plan.
All right, I told Demons last week he had a
bad teaser. He didn't listen to me. His record falls
to four and six. He had Buffalo minus one teased
through the zero or not through the zero? Yeah, hold on,

(14:13):
yeah teased not through the zero. He teased Cleveland through
the zero plus six. Those both lost, and he had
Philly plus ten. This week, Demons is once again I
am listen. He's got baby brain. I'll let you guys
hear it. Here's Demonse with his week eleven teaser.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Hello, what's right? Team? I just wanted to say thank
you from the bottom of my heart for the warm
congratulations and the welcoming of Mila. You guys are all awesome,
and I'm sorry if I didn't get back to anybody,
but is greatly appreciated and I can't wait to talk
to you guys in a couple weeks. Here. I hope
everybody's doing good. But the week eleven teaser eight pointer

(14:58):
three teamer per usual, Texans up to plus one and
a half. We're gonna tease the Dolphins until plus five
and a half and tease the Bucks up to plus thirteen.
I know it's been a while since I won one
of these, but I feel like I have luck on
my side, and uh yeah, just ride with me. So
this is the week of EVI a teaser Texans one
and a half Dolphins plus five and a half bucks

(15:19):
to plus thirteen.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
That's right, all right, So he's actually gonna get uh
thirteen and a half on the bucks because when he
called it in they were five. They're now five and
a half. I these are I mean, we're just what
if I we're teasing through the zero with Miami and

(15:42):
get not getting key numbers. We're teasing through the zero
with Houston and not getting I Again, he's been focused
on more important things. But fair is fair. Demons's first
teaser as a father gets an F. I'm rooting for

(16:03):
your son, but that gets an F. Touchdown Genie time
last week, I went off the board and said give
me Kyle Maanungai and he scored immediately. Immediately, Kyle Manungui scored.
We stay lifetime undefeated on toouchdown. Genie. I said to

(16:24):
the group today, hey, I really like Josh Jacobs against
the Giants to get a touchdown, and they said to me, yes,
so does the whole world he's minus three hundred. I said, God,
dog it, So I'm gonna do something we haven't done before.
Touchdown Jeanie parlay, Josh Jacobs and Christian McCaffrey parlay together

(16:50):
minus one twenty two cash that in. We don't do
it every week, but I'm feeling hot on touchdown Genie.
Now the group has an offer for me. Last week,
I think we had Jonathan Taylor and Bjon Robinson to
both score a touchdown, but the Falcons instead just gave
Tyler Algee or Bijeon's red zone touches, so it did

(17:11):
not hit. This week, the offers Trevor and Jamis to
throw a pick plus one thirty six or plus one
forty Sadly, I'll take it. That seems Trevor to throw
a pick against the Chargers, Jamis to throw a pick
against the Packers. Sadly, two number one picks to throw picks.

(17:36):
I'll take it. Like rate subscribe review, thank you de Monsey,
thank you Blue Dock, thank you Volume and shout out
hard Rock, Bett Boost and of course our friends It's in.
Enjoy an amazing weekend of football. Talk to you guys
on Tuesday. What's right

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
