Speaker 1 (01:05):
Alex Tischer, Welcome back, Welcome back after your three week vacation.
I do want to say this all right, off the bat.
I have lost a lot of respect for you in
the last two weeks. I have lost a lot of
respect for you. And you're gonna agree with me because
the first day you were out, when you decide I'm
going on vacation to go find myself, I'm gonna go
to Death Valley and I'm gonna go walk and I'm
(01:27):
gonna go hang out with Phil Jackson whatever. Your first
day of vacation was John Stamos's birthday, and you don't don't. Yeah,
you gotta get some reps. Man, you almost hurt. You
gotta get some reps. Harmon, did he go around? Was
that a full swing or did he did?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Check?
Speaker 2 (01:48):
His swing man checked it just shot, just shy I made.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
But in the end, you know, maybe that was the
idea and he shold it as I started it to
celebrate with so weeks of Staymos.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yes, these said, Oh, I think that sounds like a
a holiday channel like promotion for like, you know what
twenty four days of twenty five days of Christmas?
Speaker 2 (02:12):
You know what time does. Yeah, he's been on.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
A million shows, so I mean you piece together episodes
of Glee. She's on a show now with Carrie Washington.
She got that he's on scandal.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Wait a minute, but okay.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Sorry, well there is life after scandal. She has to
work again. But just making sure it's just just just
just maybe even if so, I mean maybe they did.
I didn't watch that show, so I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Well, I mean if I said she's working on Scandal,
you would say, oh, she works for the Commanders.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
No, no, hang on, we'll get to that. We'll get
to that. Wow.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
So Alex Tischer, welcome back. And again you missed John
Stainless's birthday, Jason.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Or did I go to his birthday party?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
No, because you would have posted pictures.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
I don't post anything.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
You would have know, you would have put it on
your on your podcast.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
You're yeah, you you would have hung out with John
Stamos and not said I.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
Signed an NDA stike. Do you know how hard he parties?
Speaker 2 (03:03):
You hang out with the Stamos, You don't tell any No.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
He literally was the one that invented the Vegas line.
What happens in Vegas says in Vegas here, Put.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Your phone here. My phone doesn't take pictures. It's just
a flip phone.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I don't care. Put it right here. Can't do it an.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
I was worried when he had me put my keys
in a bowl of other keys.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Well, well, well you know who'd you wind up leaving with?
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Stamos Uh, all the keys are Staymoss.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
It was only himing me there.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Oh boy, all right, So hey, couple of big things
to kick things off with. Obviously, Hey, we just watched
a combined no hitter. The Chicago Cubs Showtey Minaga and
two relievers combine to no hit the Pirates twelve nothing
in their win on Wednesday Night, seven innings, turned it
over to Nate Pearson in the eighth, Porter Hodge in
(03:51):
the ninth. It is the fourth no hitter of the
baseball season. This game was never in doubt. The Cubs
were up twelve nothing in and it's going to the
ninth inning and Emon Augu's pitch count. He was at
ninety five pitches through seven innings. And again I say
this all the time. If he's at ninety five through seven,
the guy could go out there to pitch the guy,
(04:13):
he can go out there to pitch another inning. I know, yes,
we're doing the right we'd say all these things, but
when you're at ninety five, he's not at one hundred
and seven. Okay, he's not at one hundred and ten.
You could once you get up to one ten, you
get you get into that range.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Okay, I see it.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
But when the guy's that closed, you could put him
out there for another inning. And if it's a long inning, right,
it's easy to take him out because he gives up
a hit, obviously you take him right out. It's twelve nothing,
so I mean, it doesn't matter. Eleven nothing at the time,
so it doesn't matter. You could take him out, put
another reliever in. Maybe he gets a quick inning, maybe
he keeps it going and suddenly he's going to the
ninth inning at one hundred and one pitches on the A.
(04:47):
Here's an no hitter. You can wind up. You can
wind up having for your career, having a phenomenal rookie
season here.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
In Major League Baseball.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
He could have left him in, could have left him
in for another inning and just see not dead, leave
him all the way, but just see. Hey, let's see
how you start the inning. And if it's bad, if
you're laboring and there's a couple of walks and deep
counts and we got okay, then we'll take you out.
You get to one o five to one to ten,
we'll take you out of the game.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Yeah, it's the curiosity of how if there is a
management to his innings because he's approaching a career high
looking back at his jap Japanese League stats and what
he's done, Like, we're approaching that mark and the Cubs
are still technically in contention for a wildcard spot and
it's only going as far as he's able to take
them every fifth day. But the point being that he's
(05:31):
been he's been absolute nails right now. Twelve and three
e er just over a three strikeout to walk ratio
has been fantastic, all of those things, and I get it,
like we feel cheated anytime there's a combined no hitter.
It's like does it really count? And then you start
going into the opponent, like if it was the White Sox,
would it count? I don't know, it's all philosophical. Oh no,
(05:53):
there would be investigations to see if it was actually real.
First like that no one would believe it. You'd have
to go through and say, okay, here's evidence that this
is no no, but see this isn't a Nobody's watching
the White Sox there's been more white Sox chatter in
the last two to three weeks, and there has been
since two thousand and five.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
No people think, Hey, people went on social media and
they and they or they AI this, they AI the
no hitter. No, they would have to be actual investigation
to proof that it happened, that what you saw was
real and not something where Hey, no one's coming to
the game. We got nobody walking through the gates. Let's
do that, AI think, where we throw a no hitter.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
No one's gonna even know. Come on, let's do it
and see let's do it. Let's do No.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
I mean they would know though, I mean because they
nobody would really investigate it, because they would have said,
ah that figures have that elloy him and his play
of yesterday three round score on guys running into each other.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
We've seen so much stupidity over the course of this season.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
But today today that thirty second, that elusive thirty second
win happened. Sure, Gunner Henderson at a home run off
Jonathan Cannon, but he got the w five and two
thirds ninety five pitches.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Good god.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Uh talk about inefficiency. But they get an eight to
one victory. Smith, so they stave off the Hey, we
only have thirty one wins total, which is where we
were headed.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, yeah, no, no, no, you're absolute right about.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Because I mean you were talking about one hundred and
thirty losses. I know, well, they're not gonna lose every game.
They're not gonna lose every game. They're gonna loin one
of it. This is not one you thought they were
I did not think they were getting You thought they
were gonna get one or two against the Angels. You
put up signs for show heyo Tani yesterday say this
guy used to work here.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, yeah, no, no, I did not see this one coming.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
This is a This is the extended adult swim of
wins in the baseball season for you.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
But see this is positivity, right, White Sox get a
win today, Cubs get a no hitter combined.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Em and Aga is just a fun guy. Uh in Chicago.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
He's embraced being in Chicago, and he takes public transportation,
dresses up.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Where's the different uniforms?
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Right, He's been walking around and bears jerseys and such,
so embracing what what he is there and chicagoans love him.
So having him as the anchor of that staff going forward.
Pretty huge win for them.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
So you want to talk about big wins, how about this?
Speaker 1 (08:13):
And I guess you could go to the stat padding
line if you really want to. But tonight, in a
game that will make Rob Manford very proud, the Indiana
Fever and Caitlyn Clark take care of the La Sparks
in a little bit under two hours. Like this game
started and was over really fast, and it came down
to the final play of the game for a huge
(08:33):
historical odding for Caitlyn Clark.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
And here's how it ended, Tom more than an Indiana
chance gets hit. The ball is loose and it's alive.
It's alive. Yes, it's alive. It's there. It is a
butt fummer. I mean that's a welcome back to football season. Yeah, no, no,
you're right, it is. I am right.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
And ty shirt his back. So I have to understand
that these things are going to happen. So okay, I'll
give you that ty shirt.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
But it takes you out of your rhythm because you
haven't had it in so long. No, it is.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
It is a surprise, maybe as many times, and it'll
go back right out the door another two or three
days from now.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
But enjoy it while it's here. I mean, that's the
meaning of life in a nutshell.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
As many times as I have as I have been
we've done that on the show. I still get surprised
by it. And I don't know why because I'm stupid,
but I still get surprised by that time.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
But that one must again.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
It's been a long time and if Alex isn't here,
it goes into mothballs.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
The Indiana Fever, who.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Had clinched a playoff berth last night with a couple
of losses by the Sky, they beat the Sparks tonight
ninety three eighty six. Caitlin Clark was one rebound shy
of a triple double in the final fifteen seconds of
the game.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Would she get it? It's up, it won't go, pulls
it down? And this building knows what that means. Kelsey,
Mite's gone.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
What happened?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Triple double for Caitlin. Reaction by Key, I don't know
what's happening.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
It's a triple double, yeah right, Angel Reach is running
to Twitter going, oh, it's aid stat Patty, come on,
but that's Stat panning on there. Another amazing night for
Caitlyn Clark and a triple double, and you know you've
heard all the conversation about her. Right tonight twenty four
ten rebounds, ten asists. She also had three steals. The
Fever may never lose again, right, I mean, they got
(10:26):
six out of the last seven at home. They are
steaming towards the playoffs. You know, it's no longer Rookie
of the Year conversation. It's really an MVP conversation with
Caitlyn Clark, which we can get into. But this is
a little bit new, something different on Caitlyn Clark because
I feel like everybody's kind of been beaten over the
head with the same conversations. You know that we had
three weeks ago that everyone's starting to about.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
About Kaitlyn Clark and Angel Rees and I was a
sun again. I takes a while for the producers to
catch up with their notes.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Sure, and to Kitlyn Clark is really it's really her
Asia Wilson for MVP.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
You know we did that like two three weeks ago. Okay,
it's where we're at.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
But all of the mess that has that has been
going on with this right and it goes back to
what we talked about the beginning of the season. The
WNBA needs to handle success right, and they've shown they
can't do it because there's controversy surrounding their best, most
popular player and Charles Barkley a Charles.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Barkley Waite tonight he must listen to the show.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
And he went on a podcast today and said, you know,
I can't believe how they've screwed this up and how
the petty jealousy that's been going on.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Right, we've talked about this. Did he talk about saving
the network again? No? I think he did.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
I'm gonna save another network too. Yeah, he's gonna save
all the networks. He's gonna save nighttime primetime network programming
that's woe.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, sure, save it all.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
If he bowls that off without having another bunch of
greenlit reality shows, he's the champer.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
But something a little bit different is that to think
about Caitlin Clark through all of this, All of the
conversation has been really about her, but it's from the
perspective of other people, because these are the people that
are mel down or not understanding how to handle the
success of when a new star comes in the league, right,
Like we have new stars come in the NFL all
(12:06):
the time, no one treats them like this. Right in
the NBA all the time, no one treats them like this.
But it's always been from that point of view because
Caitlyn Clark by and large has stayed away from it all.
She's extremely self aware. She knows who she is, she
knows the impact she has on the game when she's
on the court. She's got that fire, right. There's stuff
that goes on on the court. She's not a shrinking violet.
She's not oh, you're treating me this way. She gets
(12:28):
as good as she gets on the court, but off
the court, there's nothing. She goes out and plays, she influences,
and it's really something to see her do this, and
really she is taken. And it's difficult because I can't
tell you how many times where if it was me
and I see what people say about me or think
or opine about my play or certain things where I
(12:48):
just wouldn't be able to take it, and I would say, Okay,
you want to say this about me, Okay, come interview me.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Hey, Hey, Fox, ESPN, come to my house. And I
got some things to say.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
But Caitlyn Clark has stayed out of all of it,
and She has not responded to any of it because
she knows that the best way to shut up haters
and people who whine and complain and jealousy is to
metaphorically nod your head and point and say scoreboard, because
that's all she is doing. Oh, Kaitlyn Clark is gonna
(13:17):
be reality for Kitlyn Clark coming in late uh huh
huh scoreboard. Oh, we don't want to take her for
the Olympic team, even though it's gonna help the sport,
because we have our girls and we don't know how
much they would like her. And boy, your fans might
be upset if they if they don't if she doesn't
play enough, uh huh uh huh scoreboard. Oh, maybe she's
not the Rookie of the Year. ESPN has this weird
sort of thing where Angel Reese actually has the metrics
(13:39):
ed uh huh, yeah, you know what.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Scoreboard. Oh, I don't know if she's the mv Aga
Wilson so much better. I can't believe this.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
And I don't even want to talk about the Indiana
fever and mention Katelyn Clark saying I want to talk
about other people because I don't know. I don't think
you uh huh, uh huh. Scoreboard, that's all she's doing.
Uh huh scoreboard, scoreboard, because what have we just seen
Over the course the last few she has taken her
play to the next level. We knew the Caitlin Clark
Middlefinger Tour was going to begin right after the break.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
For the Olympics, and it has.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
And all she has done is lift her team to
from the bottom of the standings to the middle of
the standings and higher. She's become an MVP candidate. What
she's doing is blowing away what we seen rookies do
in WNBA when they come in, and she's doing it
by just pointing and saying, scoreboard, scoreboard, that's all scoreboard.
Look scoreboard for me, scoreboard for my numbers, scoreboard for
(14:29):
my team, scoreboard for what we are doing, and scoreboard
for everybody else you think is as good as I am,
because you know she's got that bit because all athletes,
all great athletes, have that bit of selfishness in them
when they know, hey, this is why I succeed. Every
great athlete is at least a little to a lot selfish.
But that's been the way she has fought this entire
thing is uh huh scoreboard, And pretty soon even the
(14:51):
most staunch of haters or deniers or jealousy, every time
they say something, it's less and less of a leg
to stand on as yeah, uh huh uh huh, I
hear what you're saying, scoreboard, Like, there's not a lot
anybody can say right now. The best you can hope
for is that, Okay, we put it away for a while.
They get to the playoffs and in the first round
or the second round, the fever get blown out and
(15:14):
Caitlyn Clay. They find a way to stop Caitlyn Clark,
and they went and then all the haters can jump
back up and go, ah see, we knew she wasn't
any good, But slowly she's making them all go away.
And that's the best way to do it. And it's
a hard thing to do because you always want to
talk about the haters, Okay, you want. I couldn't do it.
I mean maybe because you and I talked for a living,
so it's difficult, but I couldn't do it. But the
way she's doing it, that's the right way to do it.
(15:35):
And she's succeeding every single day.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Well, I mean, I just always thank people for stopping
by at how about It Fresco at Swollen Gome. If
they want to get critical and they want to go
after things, we say, you know, I have at it.
It's all opinions and you're all entitled to yours. When
it comes to Caitlin Clark, she's got a good team
around her and has a pretty level head having gone
through this for the last couple of years. Even in
(15:59):
the post came in talking about playoffs, there was the
picture circulating right of the team and everybody about their season, goals, playoffs,
playoffs players. Hers just said smile underneath it. And in
the postgame interview being asked about being player of the month,
back to back, player of the week, coach of the month,
clinching at playoffs, about all of that stuff, her first
(16:21):
thing was to kind of smile and just say, I
want to make sure Kelsey Mitchell gets her love right.
She's been here seven years and goes deep into the
history of what the team has been through, etc. So
all the right things and again on the court, Yeah,
she gives as good as she gets. She's gotten up inside,
you know, four arms shivers into people as well. She's
not you know innocent in those regards, and those videotapes
(16:45):
are well chronicled across the social media sphere. But where
we're at now, every player, everybody in the league that
catches a check related to the league, they should at
least give a knowing nod and thank you when they
open their next paycheck or hope they're at mobile app
for their banking apps when the next check clears, because
(17:06):
it's all because of that arrival and the elevation of
the squad. I did like the announcer during the game
who was really trying to sell you on the Sparks
early on, talking about how tough they were, and the
analysts just came right back and said, well.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
They've lost seven of eight.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
I mean, it's good that they beat New York and
they did have a win against Las Vegas a while back,
but they are two and fifteen on the road this year.
But you know, it's try you're trying to elevate folks,
but you know, reality sometimes punches in the face.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
In the phase in the fase.
Speaker 1 (17:41):

we still heard this song just so you know, just
about here, just so you know. And yesterday I went
to lunch with one of my good friends. We were
paying the bill, getting ready to leave, and the in
restaurant music system played this song and I said, okay.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
I'm done, let's go, let's go, and we walked out
before the song was over. It's not it's now in

Bowl start things off with our big super Bowl pick
for the NFC coming up in a couple of minutes,
Mike and I. But you know, just thinking about the
you know, the Caitlin Clark, the triple double tonight and
how you know. Look, you just she just points and says, scoreboard.
She doesn't get involved in any drama. Scoreboard you don't
like me.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Scoreboard. Look, it doesn't matter. Scoreboards. You can't you can't
argue with the facts. You can't argue with what I do.
You can't argue what the team does scoreboard, and I
just keep thinking about like that. That was always a
thing that I can't I guess I was kind of
childish doing it. But like there's games when you're when
when I was playing either hockey or softball, whatever, we're
playing against a team that wanted to beat us or
(20:56):
everything else. And of course I was always the big talker, right,
I always right.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
My guess is you had a bunch of guys that
were six inches taller that you knew, Hey, they'd come
and kick some ass if need.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Me, dude.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
I raked in softball and I scored goals all the time.
In hockey, I was I was. I was the guy,
but I was okay with doing it. And every time
somebody would get mad, some would happened, we'd be winning it.
Beat like an I remember in one hockey game we
were playing a team and uh, they thought they were
going to beat us, and it was the semi final,
was four to one with about five minutes to go
(21:30):
in the game, and we were waiting for a face off,
and uh, I would tell you, but I'm off to
the side, and I'm in front of the other team's
bench and the other team's bench like they're they're really mad,
and they're.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
Going, I can't believe we'll lose these guys. They stink.
This guy's got, this guy's got, this guy's got to.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Guy had two goals. The game was this guy's got
two goals. How does he have two goals? I meanwhile,
I had like thirty goals in the season, so I
was like, you know, but whatever. The guy was really mad.
He was just guy, I can kid. This team's not
even any good. It's not even And I turned around
because and I turned around because the ref was like
Marson was gonna happen. And I picked up like I
was doing the can can, and I went scoreboard, look
at the scoreboard, and everybody just starts dying lefting like
(22:07):
I'm doing a dance scoreboard.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Look at the scoreboard.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
And I finished my shift and I came off and
and and our coach said, I think you should you
should stay off here for the next couple of minutes.
After that, I said, yeah, sure, we're going four one.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
I got two goals. I don't care. But I just
turned around in the canon scoreboard. I did the can
can look at the scoreboard. It was so childish, so.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
I would say if I were on the other squad,
even if you and I weren't jawing at that point,
you would have you would have gotten a cross check.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Like when they took Caitlyn Clark out of the game
against the Sky, when you were throwing behind the back
passes and laughing on the court, Hey, you come out
of the game now, Kaitlyn.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Time to come out of the game. Time to come
out of the game.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Because the best with theirs were they were behind the
back passes that were turnovers. Like it wasn't even hey,
it was in the spirit of play. And I got
my girl, my teammate an easy layup. No, I bounced
it five feet wider. What are you gonna do? We're
beating the hell out of them, So it doesn't matter.
So yeah, some of that stuff, it's it's a bit
(23:09):
much at times, but you know it's part of the
uh what keeps it intriguing and tongues wagging. Everybody knows
what they're doing. Absolutely. Managing staff for your supply chain
is complex. Let Express employment professionals provide the workforce you need.
With Express you can lower contingent labor costs and reduce turnover.
Go to expresspros dot com to find a location near
(23:29):
you that is expresspros dot com.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Well, here we are. We've made it.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
It's NFL Eve by this time tomorrow night, we're talking
about Mahomes and Jackson and looking ahead to the Eagles
and the Packers and as long as they can leave
the hotel to go play the game, because you know
it's dangerous. So let's do this right now. Mike and
I are gonna give you our NFC Championship Game and
Super Bowl picks.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Yeah, let's go. Here we go cracking.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
My knuckles and I am picking an NFEE Championship Game
double rematch. We've seen this matchup in the NFC Championship
Game twice, and I mean I'm going all the way back.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Super Bowl there, we've seen it twice.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
And the first team that's getting there, everybody's sleeping on them.
But they are loaded and they don't play in a
great division. People are sleeping on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This is a team last year that really got their
identity post Tom Brady. Look, Baker Mayfield, he is the
(24:34):
right fit for what they're doing.
Speaker 7 (24:36):
Right.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
I'm seeing some of the same things when Mayfield really
kind of grasp things in Cleveland, but of course he
couldn't figure it out because he's a little immature at
the time. Now getting this third bite at the apple, Hey,
I think I figured it out a bit. And he's
still young enough and had some success. Look at what
he did last year, thirty touchdowns. He's got weapons all
over the place. He fits with what they do. Just
because the guy's failed once when he's given a big
(24:58):
chance doesn't mean it's always going to happen. I know
people are waiting for Mayfield to fall in his face,
but he's got some talented receivers and the running back
situation is so much better than it was a year ago.
I know fantasy owners lover Shod White, right, Oh, he's
so great. Let but he's a volume guy. He's not
gonna keep getting the carry's not gonna keep getting the
responsibility because his numbers are low. He's not very efficient.
(25:20):
But Bucky Irving, Sean Tucker, they drafted Bucky Irving with
a chance to come in and do this. Sean Tucker
they drafted out of Syracuse a year ago. They now
have some dynamic guys to split the job when they
need to. Their offense is loaded, and their defense they
get after you. They have a great defense against the rush.
No one's gonna be able to run the football on them.
They're in a weak division. They're gonna sneak up on
(25:42):
a lot of people. But give me Tampa Bay in
the NFC Championship game where they take on the Los
Angeles Rams. I'd kind of let you know that I've
been thinking about the Rams the last couple of weeks.
I'll make it official now. Look, the Rams are loaded
on offense, They're young. Matthew Stafford shows I have plenty
left in the tank. Look in one year, they went
(26:03):
from one of the oldest teams in the NFL to
one of the youngest, and they have all kinds of
guys on offense. If Kyron Williams gets hurt, which you
know is likely going to happen, they drafted Blake Korum
to be that guy. Anybody they put in running the
football in Los Angeles succeeds. So I feel pretty good
about them. The last half of the year, they're one
of the top five teams in the NFL. They'll keep
it going. Yes, a lot of changes defensively. I understand
(26:26):
this for the Rams, but tell me the last time
Sean McVay has made moves that have backfired or haven't
worked out. I mean, we don't give McVeigh and the
Rams and their front off is enough credit for knowing
what we can do, when to move on from players,
how to move on from players, what draft picks to
give up, what players to bring in. It's always worked.
And it is a big turnover on defense this year.
(26:48):
I get it, but I'm pretty convinced they'll do the
right thing and be able to be a pretty good defense,
and they just get better and better as a season
goes on. The forty nine is gonna be looking over
their shoulder till the Rams pass them. Tampa Bay and
the Rams in the NFC Championship Game, and give me
the Rams going back to the Super Bowl again for
the third time under Sean McVay. The Rams in the
(27:10):
Super Bowl this year, just like the Florida State fan
it was gonna eat dog Blank the other night said
on social media book It. You're speechless, aren't you? Mike Carmen,
You are speechless? Harmon Harmon, Wow, he's got no answers.
I knocked out Mike Harmon, what's happened? Harmon can't even speak.
He knows it's such a good pick. He knows, he knows.
(27:32):
What else can he say? Hey, look I did I
did Harmon in solid last night, told him the Bears
are surprise playoff team and not going. It's not going
to the super Bowl, at least not yet. But Tampa
Bay and the Rams. I believe that has completely knocked
Mike Carmen out and he is unconscious and right now
they're trying to somehow revive him.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Are you back, buddy, Are you back? A search?
Speaker 4 (27:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:53):
But power search for my Rams pick. I picked the
Rams and go to the Super Bowl. Boom, power search.
You were ramming in all day? He ramming it all night.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
Well, I went a little boat, well, chalk and bold
because I got the Eagles right Friday night.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
We'll start in Brazil.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
All the hubbub around that and curious to see what
Sirianni Hurts and company have here. Fantastic first half of
last season and then it went off the rails. We'll
see if they can get it back together. Aj Brown,
DeVante Smith and company. Goddard expected to play, and you
bring in Saquon Barkley to give you balance and definition
(28:29):
The only fear I have is with maybe the tush
push goes away, and what does that look like in
the short yardage? Is it Barkley? Is it more passing
efficiency from Jalen Hurts? And then if I'm not gonna
do it this year.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
No, boy, when the hell am I going to do
Boys sixteen to one to win? The NFC backed it
up with plenty of Fantasy selections off of this squad.
It's a certain team from a certain city, begins with
c ends with throwing in the middle, his hicckag.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
We'll take the Bears and that way a minute. But yeah,
how many you really? Yeah? You?
Speaker 1 (29:06):
You loaded up with everybody from Chicago and fantasy to
back up this pick.
Speaker 4 (29:09):
Well, I have them represented on almost every team. I
just finished the uh the in office Guillotine League, and
I took Caleb Williams okay, and eventually came back for
Cole Kamett as tight end two. Nobody wanted him like
he had cooties. So so I've got two of them.
But I'm looking at it from the defensive efficiency once
Sweat came over and what they were as a unit. Now,
(29:31):
some injuries, some issues we've talked about in the last
couple of days. The opportunity for the unit is huge.
But we look at the offensive side of things replete
with wide received a little concern that Keenan Allen can't
get through seventeen games. Doesn't said he didn't need the
thirty five million though, So Moore catches.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
For Roma Dunze, doesn't matter, That's just it. Roma doonsa
DJ Moore.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
We saw.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
One of the things you got from Hard Knocks is
that you have a number of other guys that if
for Stu could probably slide up. Tyler Scott, Colin Johnson,
all those guys that have had an impact a little bit,
and then a three headed running back situation. And the
clincher for me is proof of concept that Tyson Bagent
can actually play some football. So if something were to
(30:16):
befall Caleb Williams for a game or some stretch along
the way, you have a more than capable backup, something
most NFL teams cannot say as they enter Week one,
a lot of question marks walking over guys dressed like
the Riddler in that quarterback room.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
So I've got the Eagles and I've got the Bears.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Now if I'm not right I hope you're right, because
you know what I want. I want to see all
that video of the Fog Bowl, Like, that's what I
want to go back.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Oh, that's one of the great games all the time.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
The last time the Eagles and Bears met with so
much on the line was the Fog Bowl.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
And all the.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Interviews they'll do, like with Randall Cunningham and Keith Jackson
and all the guys. That's what I really want, Like
I want a thirty for thirty on the Fog Ball,
like going all the.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Way back to the end of nineteen eighty eight.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I like it all right. So
now and going to the Super Bowl?
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Are you are you? Are you taking the Bears for
the Super Bowl? Are you taking the Bears to go
to the Super Bowl?
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Well, based on the Coffin Corner, punts of tailor and
the brilliance of Cairo Santos, I can't take them that
far and not but I will.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
I'm gonna take the Eagles to go to the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Eagles in this so so there it is our NFC
Championship Game picks Bucks and the Rams, Eagles and the Bears, the.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Fog Bowl Revenge Game, exit.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
How about a Fresca exit Swollen Dome The Jason Smith
Show with my best friend Mike Harmon.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
We got more coming up in ninety seconds.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
But right now, let's find out what's trending in the
wide world of sports from buying Fenley by what do
you got for?
Speaker 7 (31:47):
Yeah, Jason, Mike, I'm hoping you guys will do the
CFL after this.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
You'll break that.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
We we are.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
I'm gonna take the rough Riders over the rough Riders.
We're gonna run out a bunch of tennis stuff.
Speaker 7 (31:57):
Yes, yeah, So speaking of that, why don't we start there, Mike,
that's a that's a good segue.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Because I was not asking for it.
Speaker 7 (32:04):
Well, you know, it does make for a pretty nice
transition in what's going on right now from Flushing Meadows.
It is quarterfinal action US Open, World number one on
the men's side, Yonick Sinner just dropped the second set
to the five seed in Daniel Medvedev, so they split
the first two sets, center getting on the board first
in set number three, He's up but one love and
(32:25):
this best of five.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Well, and as Chris Berman would say, and key j
if Sinner wins a match up with the Saints awaits.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
Wow, wow, well well done, well done, well played.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Hey, you guys could laugh with Cinner more cry with
the Saints.
Speaker 7 (32:42):
All right, Well, I'm waiting for you guys. You guys
are talking about the NFL. And of course, as we
look at the women's side of tennis, the American the
sixty Jessica Pagoula, whose parents owned the Buffalo Bills. She
won her quarterfinal affair six two, six four against world
number one egast Fiatec on the women's side, so Pegoula
is onto the Grand Slam semifinal for the first time
(33:02):
in her career. Let's go to Major League Baseball, where
Mike Harmon's White Sox came up with a huge win.
Nobody saw that coming eight to one against the Orioles,
and that's significant because the Orioles with that loss for
the time being, they now drop into a typher first
in the Al East with the Yankees. However, the Yankees
are right now are currently getting beat down by the
(33:23):
Rangers tend to in Texas and they're in the top
of the eight. The Angels are hounding the Dodgers sixth
to nothing there that is in the fifth inning. Also,
the Padres no runs to show far as well as
we keep it in the NL West with the Tigers
ahead three to nothing, they're in the third inning. Also
Mariners five, the A's one that is in the first
(33:45):
or excuse me, in the fourth and some of the
completed games of notable status. The Phillies four to two
they take out the Blue Jays. So the Phillies, they
are now leading the A excuse me, the NL East
by seven games. They have first place there with the
win for the Reds that was twelve to five against
the Astros. It was a ten ending game and it
(34:06):
went the Marlins way four to three against the Nationals.
And then lastly, guys, I'll mention, see this really quick
wins for the Braves, the Mets, Yes, the Mets. The
Cubs had the combined no hitder three pitchers twelve to
nothing winners against the Pirates. The Cubs are now four
and a half games out of that third and final
wildcard spot in the NL, which is owned currently by
the Braves after their five to two win against the Rockies.
(34:27):
And lastly, Jason and Mike, as I get it back
to you, the Mets did have that win eight to
three against the Red Sox, but still the Mets. If
the season ended right now, Jason and Mike, New York
is not in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
I can't believe.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Then today, no season and tomorrow maybe does the season
end on Saturday?
Speaker 5 (34:45):
You've got some time, is what you're saying.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Does the season end in another four weeks?
Speaker 5 (34:50):
Yes, and you're only a half game out of that
third and final spot.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
And if you guys lose tonight, were only two games
behind you. So just so you know, okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (34:58):
All right, I know that fair game.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
Yeah, okay, all right, yeah, all right. What are you
guys doing over back out of the playground? If the
season ends, sure.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
But the season doesn't end today. No, But if it didn't,
But it doesn't, it doesn't. Season doesn't end today, it does?
Speaker 4 (35:12):
What if Rob Manford just stepped in and decided, I
haven't been hurt from from our in a while.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Let me do something dumb. I want a guy.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
I want to give a trophy to an owner, and
I can't do it if we play the whole season up?
Speaker 5 (35:24):
Does he do all of his interviews drunk, by the way,
like the ono.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Whoa whoa allegedly whoa whoa, whoa.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Thank you, Brian Finley, appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (35:33):

night where we've made it. It's NFL Eve. Oh my goodness.
By this time tomorrow night, we're gonna be talking about
Patrick Mahomes's four touchdowns and oh what a big night. Yeah, buddy,
(36:37):
I didn't see this story coming today. It's wild for
many different reasons, because it's something that comes from the NFL,
but I think it's also something that a lot of us,
you know, have had to deal with at some point.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
In our lives.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
If you saw this story today involving the Washington Commanders,
they've suspended one of their employees whom comments about the
team's players being anti gay, accused Jerry Jones of being
racist and anti gay, and called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell
a fifty million dollar puppet.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
Now wait, what, No, but that's not all. Well, he's
not the first guy to have said that.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
I mean, he also said NFL fans are high school
educated alcoholics, and that he's selling hope, and that one
of the things he does that he had.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
To do was there was a sewage leak.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
In the stadium about a year or two ago, and
fans said it smelled like sewage, and he put out, nope,
it was just water. Even though it was sewage. He
was that's what we do here as part of our
as part of our responsibilities. This is state run media.
Now wait a minute, now, how do we find out
this guy said all these things. He is the vice
(37:53):
president of content, which means he does something with social media.
I'm assuming he is the vice president of content. His
name is and Team. Now wait a minute, now, so
seriously this guy, how do we know this? This is
where things get fun is because this comes out because
and teen met with a reporter that he met on
(38:15):
the dating app Hinge.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Congratulations, hints, you get a lot of publicity.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
Now met with her twice at local restaurants and apparently
she is an undercover reporter. Now what is not quite
known at this point is did she meet with him
hoping to get dirt for an article like this? Was
this something that he just said to her on when
they went out for dates and she said, well, I
(38:41):
have a responsibility now to print this because I'm a journalist.
But he goes on two dates with a woman he
meets on Hinge, and in two dates, he gets out
that the team's players are anti gay, Jerry Jones is
righteous and anti gay, Roger Goodella is a puppet NFL
fans or high school educated alcoholics, and that I lied
about pipe sewage when it looked like it was something
(39:03):
that was Dappa j You know. First, first, let me
just say that I thought they turned a corner in
that organization. Dude, Come on, man, the Washington commanders are
just riddled with scandal. They make USC look like West
Point right like that. That's how that's how bad.
Speaker 4 (39:22):
It is when we were talking about USC a few
years ago, the number of lawsuits, not even getting into
the latest with the quarterback and that TMZ report that
we discussed yesterday.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Gotta listen to the whole show. Find the podcast wherever
you get your audio.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Now, before you hear some of the audio, let me
just say this. Of course, it's the commanders. They if
if the commanders, let me just tell you what the
commanders are, you could tell the commanders, Hey, go into
this room right here, okay, to be successful. Okay, to
be successful. There's a chair in the middle of the room. Okay,
don't sit in it.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Yeah, just don't sit in it. And you go in
that room. It's not only it's empty. There's video games
on the wall. There's iPads, there's a drink station. There's
a bartender that will make you something to drink. There
is all kinds of television. Get whatever sporting event you want,
whatever it is. There's also a stack of money in
the corner. You can call and gamble. There's actually a
guy with a roulette wheel. If you want to go play,
(40:23):
he'll play blackjack two. But just don't sit in the
chair in the middle of the room. Anything else you
can do, and that's good. But if you sit in
the chair in the middle room, that's really bad. Now
you can't do that. You can't do that. And the
commanders would say, okay, thank you so much, and they'd
go in the room and they'd close the door.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
And you give him a few minutes, and you go okay, okay, okay, wait.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
And you open the door, and not only are the
commanders sitting in the chair, they have their arms wrapped
around it. They have already spray painted their initials on
the back of the chair. They have they have they
have made the bartender, they've tied up the bartender and
the guy doing so they couldn't keep them from being
in the chair. And they got their arms wrapped around
(41:04):
the bottom of the legs of the chair, which my
grandmother always hated.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
You're ruining the chair. You're gonna ruin the chair. Don't
wrap your legs around it.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
Oh, they be there, and you can and you cannot
get me out of this. Chair that that's the commanders.
They can't get out of their own way. At so
many times you think, Okay, they've turned the corner. It's
a new owner, it's a new this is Nope, here
are the commanders still. It's riddled with scandal as they've
always been.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
Josh Harris comes in and we had all the celebrations.
Hey round for everybody, let's cheerlead and everything else. Still
some deep, deep dark recesses there of the stadium and
the office spaces. It would appear with this starting to
come out, or a guy that really just wanted to
be heard and he was gonna speak his truth to
anybody who gave him an ear.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
They are just riddled with scandal. Can't get away from it,
get away. We got rid of all the scandal. Nope,
got it right here, No, nop, got it right here.
See it only it's appropriate.
Speaker 4 (42:01):
We were talking about scandal last hour in relation to
Staymos and Carrie Washington.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
It's like if you keep having a call the pest
guy back you still now they're still there. They're still there,
They're still having I got them all. Nope, you didn't
get them all. They're still there. Nope, there's not I
could still hear the mice under the house whatever, I
could still hear.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
No, I didn't get them all. Didn't get them all.
Talk about rat business. Let's go.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Here's some of the audio that was obtained. And again
this is where Allentine who went on two dates with
this woman who was who was not identity has not.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
Been made public yet.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
This is some of the stuff he has said that
I just recapped a couple seconds ago.
Speaker 2 (42:39):
Most of the fans, I would say, are.
Speaker 5 (42:43):
High school educated alcoholics.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
Most NFL fans are high school educated alcoholics. Really with.
Speaker 8 (42:52):
Yeah, I mean there's fights in the stands all the time.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
Like it is, they're like lower class people.
Speaker 6 (42:57):
I hate to use that term.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
I would just say mouth brea.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
Worse.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
How do you explain the fact that the NFL is
very much into like the social justice take informative What
do you mean?
Speaker 8 (43:12):
I mean, it's not done out of the goodness of
the art morality. It's done because George Floyd changed the game.
The social justice efforts are a performance for the sake
of public perception and.
Speaker 5 (43:27):
Not because they want to actually those progress.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Okay, so there's there's just a bit right there. And
at first I.
Speaker 4 (43:36):
Would say they're a lower class. No, call them mouth breathers.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
There. Hey, I went and I feel like eleven and
stranger things.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Mouth breather. I went to college. I'm a college educated
guy that likes the NFL me ah.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
And I like beer and I like to fight. What
about it?
Speaker 1 (43:51):
I'll tell you you say something bad about the Jets,
I'll kick your ass harmon, I'll just bang your head
until you bleed out.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
How about I do that for you? But first we'll
have a drink.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Well, because I like the Bears this year, I think
they're gonna go pretty far, So we'll have that drink
and then I'm bashing at make you bleed.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
All over the brass bar right here. How about that?
That's pretty good? Uh? You know there's so much with this.
I mean there's just so much.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
First of all, the director of kan, the vice president
of content like like is in on all of this
with the teams and the players and Jerry Jones, Like
he's at that level where he can say I can
form this this this opinion, like I wow.
Speaker 4 (44:27):
I mean, look, anybody's entitled to know, but storaging in appearance. Look,
I'm curious Jason that all this is just pouring out
over a second date.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
Oh come on, man, seriously, this is too This is
the typical guy who like, hey, here I am on
my first I want to wow you with everything I
know about the NFL and my job and how great
it is. Yeah, you're gonna you're gonna fall over at
my feet after I tell you how great my job is.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
Look, let me tell you what the NFL is really like.
You think you know the NFL. Let me tell you
what it's really like. I gonna tell you about the sources.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
That tell me on two dates. I'm gonna tell you this.
And it sounds like she's interviewing him. This isn't something
how anybody speaks on a date like wait, wait, can
you speak louder and tell me why you think NFL
players and NFL fans especially are alcoholics with high school education.
Speak into my watch because I kind of listened through
(45:19):
the watch up to my ear so I can hear
what you're saying like this.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
At two dates. Yeah, hey, that's me, baby. I'll tell you.
I'll tell you anything you want to know about the day.
Speaker 4 (45:28):
Straight out of Straight out of Law and Order episode,
where would you like me to direct my statement in Lenny,
would you like me to direct it to your lapel?
The other is, I mean, did she pick the spot,
because I mean there's ambient noise, but crystal clear.
Speaker 2 (45:41):
I mean the recording device is there. I mean, everybody
that is a reporter.
Speaker 4 (45:46):
Oh, this is technology and stuff, and you want to
get on board with here.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
Yeah, because I'm very upset about this because in every
television show I watch, the wire always never works because
it's too loud. Oh, we can't hear anything, ken'yll. We
gotta we gotta go help. We gotta go in and
get them the wire they're wearing. We can't hear anything.
They're too close to the music. They're too close to
the drums. They're too close here. You know, this is
crystal clear right here, and you are the base thumping
in the background and everything. I mean, really, I mean,
(46:11):
I think a lot of TV shows with their cops,
you gotta you gotta use this kind of technology here because.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
It never works. We want to tell them, it's got
to get better. You gotta get in early.
Speaker 4 (46:18):
You gotta make sure it's properly in the vase or
or whatever whatever the case may be, tucked under the
tablecloth in a nicer restaurant. I don't know, but this
was executed perfectly from the Let me let me do
some active listening.
Speaker 2 (46:34):
So what you're saying is.
Speaker 8 (46:37):
So.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
What I'm hearing is so, what's your name?
Speaker 1 (46:41):
You know?
Speaker 2 (46:41):
It doesn't matter. My name is Reella. Let me tell
you about the NFL. Listen out. Let me buy you
a drink. I am content king, my man.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Listen, I'm vice president of content. So does that mean
like you're in charge of the team.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
I'm in charge of the team content, everything that goes
out there.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
I'm in charge of content. That's right. What do you
want to know? What do you want to know?
Speaker 1 (46:59):
As I show you by Cufflakes and my Rolex watch, Yeah,
what do you want to know?
Speaker 2 (47:03):
Yeah? I got I woant my best Gabardine suit tonight
for you. What do you What do you want? What
do you want to know? What do you want?
Speaker 1 (47:07):
I'll tell you about Jerry Jones. I don't really know
who he is, doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Let me tell you what I think of the man
or woman in the Gaberdine suit. Is a spy? Why
do you think I did that? It was? If you
get but If you didn't, then I needed to hammer
it a little bit further. You could have let it go.
There was some great jokes. I could get it. It
was a good lion. I liked it. Yeah, had a
hitchhike across America. I I I.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
This is so quintessential from from anybody that's ever gone
on any sort of date where it's just here's an
entire rip of here's my opinion on everything. And you're
just saying to yourself, how can I get out of here?
How can I How can I leave so fast? How
can I get out of this? Can I just can
(47:53):
I pretend to go to the bathroom and go home?
Can I just say, oh, hey, I gotta go? My
sitter said, there's a problem. Is there is there a
way for me to say, hell, you know my uber
just arrived, Hey look over there, and I run out
the door. Do I just go without saying anything?
Speaker 2 (48:06):
And what like?
Speaker 1 (48:07):
This is this is one of those dates that I
would go, Okay, just yep, tell me about you know
you are? How great you're like you are pine on everything?
You have an opinion on everything.
Speaker 4 (48:16):
Let me just tell you that's why you just say
I'm a banker but you've been staring intently at the
game on the television. Gotta cast my gaze somewhere like
you gaudably cursed when that guy threw an incompletion on
third and two.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
And stop the clock instead of all of of all
of what he said that I that I that I
recapped right there.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
The part about the pipe sewage is what I can
see and go, Yeah, I can see a team saying, yeah,
you know what, now you listen, if we say it's
pipe sewage, there's gonna be a lot of loss.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
It's just say it's water. Okay, it's water, but it
smells like.
Speaker 4 (48:53):
We can't open up the Yeah, we can't open up
the class action.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
What do you do? It's it's fine, it's fine. Everything
else is fine.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
I mean I saw this and as this as the
day went on, I'm saying to myself, this is just insane.
So this guy gets suspended for all. I can't believe
he still has a job. I mean, he went because
what are.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
The labor laws that he that keep it from getting fired?
Speaker 1 (49:15):
And I don't know, well, if he knows all this
allegedly about the what does he have on the team
he could let go?
Speaker 2 (49:21):
What about. He goes on another date with somebody. What's
gonna what's he gonna? What have we always said?
Speaker 4 (49:25):
Man, disclosure part of things is gonna be a problem,
right to discovery and disclosure.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Next next date, this guy goes and he's gonna say, okay,
stand up, let me see you're not wearing a wire
like to do with the shows. Let me see you
pick up your shirt so I can see you're not
wearing a wire. Alright, great, let's it out. I'll tell
you where the diamonds are, you know, I mean, because
I don't know how he still has a job because
all the different things he has said.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
You accuse the.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
Biggest owner because it got out right, And that's the
whole thing. You can say, Oh, you didn't really know
he was being recorded. It's an undercover reporter, but it
got out right. It's well, that means it can't be
used in a court of law. That doesn't mean.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
This gets out. Look, it's a Donald Sterling law boy.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
It was a private conversation where he said that about
but you know what, it got out. It doesn't matter
how it got out. It got out. It's like having
a sign that says beware of dog. In your house
and it and everywhere it is. But if the dog
somehow bites the mail man, guess what it happened, doesn't matter.
You had to beware a dog, stay off proper all
this stuff. Dog bites a mail man, It happened. You
got to deal with it. Like it gets out, and
it gets out, and what.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
Do you got?
Speaker 1 (50:22):
I mean you He calls Jerry Jones racist and anti gay,
and the players are anti gay and they're racist, and
Godel's a puppet and.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
All of these other things. And he still has a job.
Speaker 1 (50:33):
Like the commanders like, you're gonna have this guy come
back and work really after this, he's gonna come back
and have a job. Yeah, I could trust this guy.
This guy's our vice president of content.
Speaker 4 (50:42):
Let mean, come on, trying to go through it, working
any other communication lines that he's had, maybe other dates
he's set up. Because now you got to try to
figure out how widespread this is beyond this video getting out,
how many more people is he wowed with his aptitude
as content creator. Again, folks will leave you alone if
you just say I work at a bank.
Speaker 1 (51:03):
Yeah, no, you're right, they would, they would I work
at okay that yeah, but then you're also not how
many more dates you're going out on? I mean you
gotta remember that too, Like, Okay, what's your what's your intent?
Speaker 2 (51:13):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (51:14):
Because if I work in a bank, maybe I have
some money. Maybe I'm not looking for a long term association. Hey,
I watch Inside Man with Clive Owen.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Can you just like kind of wall me up and
I'll steal money at night and stay in there and
then leave when no one's expecting me.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
Can we do that? Oh?
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Oh, you've been recording this? Okay, prank caller, prank caller,
I'm going I'll see you later.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
How'd you feel about pulling a job with about five
other guys?
Speaker 1 (51:38):
But you could trust them? Trust me? I trust them.
I trust them with my life. You could trust what
that guy's name weasel. We're gonna wear nuns outfits. It's
gonna be great everything, nothing's gonna go wrong, everything's gonna
be Wait.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
That's Hawkeye, It's okay.
Speaker 1 (51:55):
