Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies, you want experience during your football season, We'll buckle.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Up, sweet cheeks.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
What's all, We've got all the experience in the world.
This is I want your flex with Dan Bayer and
Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break down everything you need
to set your lineups, from position rankings to starts and sits.
The guys help you make those hard decisions. And now
let's catch your flexod. Here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
It's Week nine in the National Football League.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
The Eagles are going to be wearing their Kelly Greens,
I believe against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Ravens are busting
out a new helmet. So it's kind of a throwback weekend,
Mike Carmen, and it's a throwback for us as Ryan
Berschinger is our executive producer today in for Ian Roddy,
so bursch is gonna have some streaming defenses for us.
But just one of the things to look forward to

(00:57):
in a week nine schedule that includes everyone except your
Bears and the San Francisco forty nine ers.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Pretty crazy, and those Ravens helmets, I mean, they couldn't
wait until they actually unfurled them on a game day
instead of showing us in practice.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Yes, I felt cheated.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
I purchased that mini helmet as soon as it was
online or they unveiled it, they allowed you to buy it,
and then you had to wait ninety days or whatever
it was. But it came to the middle of summer
and on my Sunday show that I do with Kerrie Rhodes,
I like to decorate the studio with the late game matchups.
Now this weekend, the Ravens aren't playing a late game,
but I would make an exception if they were wearing

(01:34):
their purple helmets.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I would have brought it in.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Well, I'm not doing the show this weekend, so it's
all a complete waste and instead we'll have to wait
for another time. But it is a sharp looking helmet.
I do like it. I'm not a fan of the
Ravens current helmet. This is a little different the purple.
I like it, but nobody hates the Kelly Green of
the Eagles, and I think we're going to be seeing
that on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Well, you might have to employ that helmet with Lamar Jackson,
with myriad injuries, you might have to try to fit
it over your dome and go play some quarterback.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Oh man, I'll tell you one thing.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
I can guarantee this because they're gonna look good. You're
gonna have some egle information when I talk at the
end of the podcast, but I'm gonna step aside. Ryan
Berschinger will also have some streaming defenses by the way,
but we make room for one Mike Carmon, who is
gonna give us his rankings for week nine. And just
so you know, we are recording this podcast prior to
the Texans Jets game on Thursday night. We're doing this

(02:28):
Thursday afternoon because of some studio stuff going on, so
we are recording this early. So please adjust your lineups
succordingly to what could happen over the next twenty four hours.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
But Mike, let's get into it. Your top five quarterbacks
for Week nine.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
Let's get it out.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Let's start right off with Jalen Hurts, looking at seventh
on the season as a fantasy quarterback. Last three weeks
twenty one, twenty three, thirty five. Funny what happens when
your wide receivers get healthy and playing the Jacksonville secondary
You talk about Bonanza twenty two point six fantasy points
allowed per game. Captain Kirk going up against Dallas. You're

(03:04):
looking at eleventh ranked coming into week nine, But he
does have five games where he scored thirteen or fewer points,
So you hang a star on it, but hope for
the best. Why because they have no pass rush in Dallas?
Giving up the six month fantasy points to quarterbacks opportunity
knocks Jayden Daniels going up against the Giants. No, they

(03:24):
won't defend the Hail Mary the same dopey way the
Bears did, so don't expect another ten to eleven points
going to Jane Tijing Ji Jing like you won the
lottery or a slot machine like he did against Chicago,
But against the Giants should be fantastic.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Once again.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Tied for tenth most fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, Daniels
has gone for at least twenty and six.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Of his eight starts this year.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
How about Patrick Mahomes rarefied air that we get him
into a top five last week? Nineteen points, Dan Ryan,
that's his career are his season high? I should say,
ranked twenty first among quarterbacks. See already just dismissing an
entire career based on the futility of twenty twenty four.
But you're looking at Tampa Bay worst against the pass,

(04:08):
and that's a Monday night affair, and Chiefs starting to
feel themselves blah blah blah.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
And finally I hag a star.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
On it because they've been really good against opposing quarterbacks
thus far. They are the best in the National Football
League for fantasy purposes. That's the Miami Dolphins. They're facing
up against Josh Allen. They're only giving up eleven fantasy
points per game, but Josh Allen is built like other quarterbacks,
so we get the opportunity there. Also, ran Joe Burrow.
I hang a star on it because I just don't

(04:36):
know what to think of that matchup. A little nervous
about it. But he's sixth, but he's only got twice
has he gone over twenty points to showing consistency. The Raiders'
thirteenth most fantasy points per game. Notable admission. As I mentioned,
you may may need to quarterback for the Ravens. Dan
Lamar Jackson up against Denver not the greatest of matchups,
but as we record, we have no idea.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yes, yes, he has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday
because of knee and back injuries. And last week I
didn't think Jayden Daniels was gonna play for the Commanders
and he ended up doing so. So I will give
myself a one week banishment on speculation when it comes
to quarterbacks in fantasy football. All right, let's jump over
to the running backs. Mike your top five running backs

(05:19):
for Week nine of the NFL season.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Let's start with Bjeon Robinson. Everybody's all American that they said,
I'll doubling down. Arthur Smith's going going up against Dallas.
He is fourth in PPR League's twenty three plus the
last three games in a row. Dallas second, most generous,
can't stop the bass, can't stop throw. Jerry Jones looking
to come out of retirement himself and maybe strap on

(05:43):
an old leatherhead count of helmet as he goes. Jamiir
Gibbs going up against green Bay. Last two games a
mass fifty three points. He is sixth amongst running backs
thus far. Green Bay a middling defense against opposing rushers,
and Gibbs right now electric. How about Kyen Williams going
up against Seattle. I don't know what's a massive matchup

(06:04):
for him. But you're looking at a Seattle defense. You
could speak to this better Dan, but for Kiren Williams
red zone opportunities and he's going for at least fourteen
points each and every week. Talking about consistency as a
top five running back this year, and by all metrics,
Seattle a bottom ten against running backs.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
I've been here.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
I've been told if you don't have anything nice to say,
don't say anything at all. So I will remain silent
when talking about the Seahawks defense.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Those are good Midwestern value. See what he did, Bursch,
See what he did? No that he'll save the vitriol for.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
I don't know. I think there's a couple of games.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Oh yeah, there will be for sure.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Bring the New York Jet's ending my Survivor season last week.
They're gonna get some of it.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Well, you know what we could do the Evergreen Hey
Aaron Rodgers, Boy, he really can't complete down field, can he?
By the way, No, Allen Lazard, I'm so sad. Anyway,
back to the rankings. We've got a Bijon Robinson, Gibbs, Williams,
Sakwon Barkley going up against Jacksonville two duds in his
last three in PPR leagues, So that's a little bit
nerve racking. But Philly offense overall and again Jacksonville sixth

(07:11):
most generous to running backs thus far. And then let's
go back and grab Miami. Devin h Chan twenty six
point seven last week. That's his third twenty plus performance
of the year. Yeah, the first two came in the
first two weeks of the season. But you're looking at Buffalo,
they give up a ton of work against opposing running

(07:31):
backs and with Tua back under center, look for a
little more balance and definition in one of the games
of the week.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yeah, the game of the week in my mind is
Lions Packers, and I think that a lot of people
have that on the radar. It is interesting with Miami
because I feel that Buffalo just continues to roll. Josh
Allentherer's first interception last week that was the only thing
that seemed to go wrong for Buffalo in that game.

(07:59):
But I wonder if there is a little bit of
a letdown that allows the Dolphins to maybe hang in.
Buffalo is almost a touchdown favorite in this game. So
I could see where Miami has some success because I
don't think people are really believing after their loss to
the Arizona Cardinals that this team is very good. But
I think it could be a different situation this Sunday.
So I don't mind the eighth chan play at all.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Over under sitting at a nice robust forty nine.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Yeah, let's get to the wide receivers. I'm wondering if
there's going to be a dolphin in here. We're about
to find out the top five wideouts for week nine.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Let's go.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Aj Brown gets us started going up against Jacksonville. Fourth
most generous to wide receivers twenty three nineteen thirteen. His
last three games Cede Lamb. He's now in Gronk and
Kelsey status fellows as there's nobody else yet somehow, there
he is, standing by himself doing jumping jacks, waiting for
the football. Twelfth most generous to opposing passing games. I

(08:49):
expect some fireworks perhaps in this one as we look
at the totals.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
For fifty one and a half.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
There you go, let's light up the scoreboard, light up
the night, just like all those fireworks. Do you have
to store fireworks like you do grain and other things?
I thought I was supposed to buy gold bars and
ready meals for twenty years. I didn't know I needed fireworks.
We're in Los Angeles for those unaware, and last night
was well, it was better than any spectacular you have

(09:20):
on the fourth of July. Let's put it that way.
Drake London going forth against Dallas. The other side of that,
you're talking about a guy fifth in PPR leagues and
last week was his worst effort since Week one. Look
for a bounce back. He'd gone seventeen plus six times
this year. Tyreek Hill rounds us out and number five,

(09:40):
as you predicted, finally got another double digit game. We
haven't seen many of those for Tyreek Hill. Buffalo fifth
best against opposing passing attempts. We talked about them being
able to be run on a little bit with the
eight chan, but looking for more balance here and again
for the one to open up a little bit in

(10:02):
this divisional battle.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Okay, I told you prior to the podcast, and if
you're listening to this, you don't know this. I have
a head cult, so my head feels like get weighs
seven hundred pounds right now. Aj Brown, Ceedee Lamb, Drake London,
Tyreek Hill, who did I.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Miss oh, and then we had Justin Jefferson. Justin Jefferson, Okay, yeah,
so let's get him in the Colts on that Sunday
that affair, having my own issues, Sam Donald and company
trying to get after it. Jefferson third in the NFL
thus far, Indy is a mid. But one thing that
gives you hope that this opens up a little bit

(10:34):
is that you do have Joe Flacco under center. And
while you may not believe America that Joe Flacco is elite,
we can talk about what that offense does with him
under center. Miami Minnesota's defense susceptible to getting hit down field,
which means we get maybe a little more open game
than you would have had, say, if Richardson were underneath.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Interesting matchup as well, because this was a game that
was flexed and the Sunday Night Football, they moved out
Jaguars Eagles. I don't know why they thought the country
would love the Doug Peterson return, but they thought it
was worthwhile to put it there for a while. But
with the obviously Fox didn't want to let go off.
Green Bay and Detroit Cowboys in Atlanta would have been one,
but then the Cowboys would be on Sunday Night Football.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
And back to back weeks.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Yeah, just unique that Colt's vikings it ends up being
the matchup, and I think it's a much better matchup
with Joe Flacco at quarterback.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Yeah, it's it's really interesting.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Right, We'll get into some of the shore as we
get deeper into the hot play as Colt stores, et cetera.
But yeah, it's he's becoming America's quarterback. I think the
selling of Minnesota also before the couple losses, it was
all right, maybe maybe there's a groundswell of support Sam Darnold,
the fun story Flores O'Connell. I mean, you get some

(11:52):
good storylines there, and I think maybe hoping that Richardson
developed so you could put sinc Caleb in and Daniels
are getting so much run that hey, here's another young quarterback.
And unfortunately to not go that break their way.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
They did want a flex Patriots Titans, but that's too
Monday morning at three am, but they could.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
All right, this sounds about right.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Well.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Those are the top five rankings from Mike Harmon four
week nine of the National Football League season. Coming up next,
his hot plays, the Gold Soars and Ninja's some of
the sneaky plays that you're going to have to play
those next year. I'm Dan Bursch is hanging out as
well this as I want your flex. He is Mike Harmon.
Find him at Swellen Dome. I am Dan Byer. Hit
me up at Dan Byer on Fox. Ryan Berschingers our

(12:35):
executive producer for the day, executive producer emeritus, and then
we call on him when we need Bursch to step
up for Ian Roddy. So you kind of have carte blanche.
You'll always be the executive producer, and every once in
a while we will want you to stop on by.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
Oh, of course I'm happy to This is wonderful. I'm
like Jason Stewart too, the Jim Rome Show.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Probably fair enough.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Jason Stewart, always a hot play, always a hot play. Mike,
let's get to your hot plays for Week nine of
the National Football League season. These are the guys that
may not have made Mike's rankings, but are guys that
you got to get in the lineup this week.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
Think I already gave the full pledge to Sam Darnold,
so going up against Indy, let's get after it. They're
giving up seventeen point three points per game to opposing qbs.
Like the offensive opportunity here in a big spotlight game
bo Nicks. He's number nine amongst fantasy quarterbacks this year,
fellas nineteen plus and four of his last six going

(13:33):
against Baltimore. If you've watched any Baltimore football, you know
one thing. They don't play defense, So antithesis of everything
we've seen for so many years. Twenty two fantasy points
allowed per game. Kareem Hunt coming on strong Tampa Bay
in that Monday night affair as a runner receiver has
a big opportunity here as that offense gets cranked up

(13:54):
another level. They are the eleventh most generous to opposing
backs Alvin Kamara going up against Carolina, they're the worst.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
That's all I need to say.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Tony Pollard against New England bottom five against running backs
and Spears looks like he's gonna be unavailable as we
record this. So it's Tony Pollard's job and New England
after that big win against the Jets, after responding when
he was they were called soft by their coach. That

(14:23):
just sends a little bit of a letdown here. Yeah,
I do too, So Tony Pollard gets his run. Josh
downs back to that Indie Minnesota game. He's been fantastic
the last couple of weeks, and obviously Joe Flacco is elite.
DeVante Smith going up against Jacksonville, Health, Lad McConkey going
up against Cleveland, and then our guy Khalil Shakir seventeen

(14:43):
targets the last two weeks.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Let's get it on.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yeah, we don't know the Bills are gonna fare against
the Dolphins singing Miami could give them a run for
the money, but it doesn't mean that the Bills are
gonna sit on anything. Plus some Marie Cooper is a
little bit thinged up, so you still have Shakir kind
of being the favorite target of Josh Allen in Buffalo.
All Right, there's two sides to every story, and the
truth is in the middle. Let's go to the other
end of the cold source the guys you don't want
to see, you don't want to touch, you don't want

(15:06):
anything to do with.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
In Week nine, let's go big game hunting. I'm gonna
start at the wide receiver position to the number one
receiver in all of football, Jamar Chase going up against
the Las Vegas Raiders. They are eighth best against opposing wideouts.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
T Higgins not expected to.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Go, so that that is the I've got him as
a number my number nine receiver means obviously still starting.
But if you were banking on another twenty five point performance,
I ain't banking on it.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Here.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Zay Flowers going up against Denver, He's probably gonna draw
their tan, so good luck with that. You got Kyler
Murray going up against Chicago four games with at least
twenty points.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
Bears.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
They were humbled by Daniels and absolutely castigated and excoriated
over the course of the week. Look for them to
bounce back. They're one of the best teams against quarterbacks.
Justin Herbert had his. He's in best finish in Week eight.
He's number twenty three on the board for the year.
It's a mid matchup against Cleveland, giving up just sixteen

(16:09):
Fantasy points per game. Not loving it there. Baker up
against Kansas City, He'll keep winging it. Many had twenty
four points last week. Next man up kind of situation.
But Kansas City, we've talked about their defense and their aptitude.
Baker will get his, but you're gonna have to sweat
for it. Nick Chubb going against the Chargers second best
against running backs, Josh Jacobs against Detroit. They're right behind

(16:32):
the Chargers third best against running backs, and you'll have
We don't know either Love or willis.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
How will it go? We shall see.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
Jordan Love said, I don't need to stink at practice
to get out on the field, So we shall see.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Dan He's been limited throughout the week, but it just
doesn't make any sense to possibly aggravate the injury when
you have a buy in week ten.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
I'm one hundred percent in agreement. It also didn't make
sense that they rushed him back earlier this year, So
at this point, I have no idea what they're.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
By the way, my moratorium on speculating and injuries lasted
one segment, so yeah, I've already done it with Jordan
Love lasted one segment. Yeah, the will power is just
not there. All right, Let's get to the Ninja's Mike,
the sneaky plays for the upcoming weekend.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
Derek Carr back under center against Carolina. Remember weeks one
and two, Yeah, distant memories seems like a long lifetime ago.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
He was fantastic.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Then Carolina given up the fifth most fantasy points to quarterbacks.
Let's get back after it. We've talked about Joe Flacco
in fifteen twenty six fifteen in his starts opportunity here
Minnesota giving up the tied for eighth most fantasy points allowed.
Raheem mostered against Buffalo. They are the third most generous
running against running backs. As we've talked about before, I've

(17:53):
used the word generous a lot generously. I need to
expand my vocabulary. Chuba Hubbard against New Orleans eighth most allowed,
Rashawn Johnson because they're not going to call another goal
line called an offensive lineman, I don't think. And he's
been perfect on the season, and his opportunities at the
goal line going up against Arizona, you can run on them.

(18:16):
Wandel Robinson one of our favorites going up against Washington.
This is purely a PPR play, looking for a little
bit of love. Molik Neighbors had eighteen targets the last
time these teams met before. I think that was all
the way back in Week two. Darnell Mooney going up
against Dallas. We talk about Drake London. Let's get his

(18:37):
right hand man with him, Xavier Worthy against Tampa Bay
Secondary in tatters, so opportunity, and then a couple of
quick tight end Zach Ertz against the Giants season high
seventy seven yards against Chicago. He's got multiple receptions every
game this year. And then Kate Otton has become the
man for Baker Mayfield.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
I felt the wrath of Kate Otton last week the
good game for the Buccaneers and right now seemingly one
of the only guys that Baker Mayfield wants to throw to.
We'll be curious in the Giants Commander's game on how
much the Giants feel that there is revenge. Obviously they're
a different team from when they were when they played
the Commanders in Week two. You lost Andrew Thomas, but

(19:17):
still they held Washington to seven field goals that game,
and their kicking situation was a mess when they didn't
have one after the opening kickoff, so Graham Getto ended
up getting hurt and then the rest was history. But
we'll see if the Giants can bounce back in a
divisional matchup where I think the Commanders could have a letdown.
So I like the Wandale Robinson play as well. He

(19:39):
is Mike carbon I'm Dan Byer those here Hot plays,
Gold Soars End Ninjas. Coming up next, Ryan Berschinger joins
me and Mike to give his streaming defenses four week
nine plus, I'll give you our Oasis pick of the week,
a Survivor pick in our points a Palooza, and Mike
can criticize all of it. That's next, heire on IWA
Your Flex, The tables turn, and our final segment of

(20:03):
this episode of I Want Your Flex, as they always do.
He is Mike Carb and I'm Dan Byer and Ryan
Berschinger is our executive producer today bursch our previous executive
producer executive producer Emeritis, and you will take over for
Ian Roddy today in providing our streaming defenses, which is
something that you actually started on this podcast, So yeah,
have at it, Ryan Berschinger, who are your streaming defenses

(20:25):
for week nine?

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Well, I think the clear choice, and it's the team
that I'm streaming in multiple places is the Saints this week.
As of right now, it does appear that Bryce Young
is going to run it back. Andy Dalton was kind
of being vague today, but yesterday Dave Canalis said, no one,
let's let's give Bryce another week, and I say let's
give a defense playing Bryce Young another week. Then he also,

(20:47):
of course lost Deontay Johnson. This is an offense that
is not going to do much, so I will gladly
take the Saints defense there. We also have the lowest
total of the week is the Titans Patriots game, and
as you guys talked about, this could be a kind
of a what was the terminology used for the Patriots?
They kind of they could be looking past this one let.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
Down coming off of that huge effort.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
Sure so I would I would feel comfortable either side defensively,
but I would lean Titans in this one because I
think the Titans are gonna win this game.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
They're at home.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
As of right now, it looks like Drake may is
going to play, but if he doesn't, then the Titans
are an easy play. If he does, I still very
much lean Titans there.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
It's interesting with the Bryce Young play just for the
fact is what I think is Carolina is just trying
to ensure that the Saints don't get a higher pick
than they do and that if they do go quarterback,
they can actually pick before New Orleans tries to draft theirs.
It just is crazy. If Andy Dalton is healthy and
good enough to play, why doesn't he play? Because they

(21:49):
are seemingly better?

Speaker 6 (21:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:52):
I mean, but so this game, it just makes it
seem like, all right, we want to make sure that
we're worse than the Saints, so let's play our crappy
quarterback and.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Then we'll really about Andy Dalton coming back later.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Did they put Adam dealing in street clothes in the
case that they might want to trade it?

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Sure? Did they do that with Deontae Johnson last week? Yeah? Yeah,
there you go.

Speaker 6 (22:10):
And just a quick thing looking ahead to next week.
Speaking of the Panthers, The Giants are playing the Panthers
next week, and if you have extra spot on your
roster to maybe look ahead a week on defenses, the
Giants defense has actually been pretty good. They are at
least a ranked tenth currently in terms of fantasy scoring

(22:32):
as the defense. So yeah, I like the Giants play
next week. I just continue to fade the Panthers, even
if it's Andy Dalton there, all.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Right, survivor pick time.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Even though I gave you a loser in the Jets
last week, Tampa Bay's might no excuse me. The Kansas
City Chiefs are my pick against Tampa Bay. I know
it's a Monday night wait, but I'm just not going
to give you the obvious ones. Actually, we are recording
this before the Jets Texans game, so I'm completely staying
away from that one, and when you listen to this
you would know the outcome. But I would have leaned
the Jets in that scenario, So if the Texans win,

(23:01):
you can laugh at me even more. But I'm going
with the Chiefs against the Buccaneers for my survivor pick
points of Paluza. Mike, you touched on this earlier are
the Falcons and Cowboys being the highest point spread fifty
one and a half, So I gotta stay away from
that one. We have a couple of forty eight and
a half's out there, Bills and Dolphins. Is one Broncos
and Ravens sitting there at forty six and a half, Lions,
Packers forty eight and a half, Rams Seahawks a forty

(23:23):
eight and a half. I know you're saying some nice
things about the Raiders in their matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
That one is at a fifty forty six and a half.
One talking about the Raiders defense. So those are some
of the top matchups that we've got this week in
terms of streaming defenses, or excuse me, in terms of
the highest spread. Telling to this head cold is killing me.

(23:45):
The rams Seahawks is my pick. I'm gonna go forty
eight and a half, Cooper Cup, Puka Nakua. It may
be a one sided affair. Seattle can't be as bad
as they were on offense last week. So my points
of palooza rams Seahawks this week at forty eight and
a half, I would like to not do as much
chalk Mike. I'd like to go down to Raiders Bengals
at forty six and a half. Just can't do it.

(24:05):
Got to go with the game of the Pacific Northwest.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
No.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
I mean, look, we've got the great divide, right because
you've got a couple of those games like you mentioned
New England Tennessee, and there are two or three others
that are in that forty one forty two Chargers Cleveland.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
No thank you.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
In terms of my aesthetic appeal to a game, no thanks,
I'll stay away from it. But you know, the rams
Seahawks game is so intriguing for a million reasons. The
way that division is starting to play out from a
straight football perspective, but certainly from a fantasy realm. So
many guys that fantasy owners are dependent on, So a

(24:44):
big bold pick, because I mean, you had four or
five others right up in that high forties range.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
The question, of course, will also be dk metcalf status
for the Seahawks. Obviously he was missed in their matchup
last week against the Buffalo Bills. That could also change things.
If you wanted to go on the flip side of it,
I would even say Jaguars Eagles and this piggyback's off
of your running back rankings, Mike my Oasis pick of
the week. The song is and I held off on

(25:12):
some of the popular ones, but we're gonna start cashing
them in Champagne Supernova. I think you can pop Champagne
with Saquon Barkley and those Eagles throwbacks. I think Saquon
is gonna have a huge game against Jacksonville after the
slow ones the last couple of weeks, I think the
Egles actually make a consertive effort for him to get
in the end zone as well. So my Champagne Supernova
is Saquon Barkley the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
On principle, I may just go find a sporting good
store so I can get a Kelly Green jersey by Sunday.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
They look good, even just the old Starter jacket if
you will, the pullover or the Buddy Ryan like buttoned
up I can't. I think Starter made those as well,
where it just said Eagles across the front with the
snaps those who look sharp as well. So all right,
that's it for the pod. Enjoy week nine, Mike, you
and Ian will have the pod asked on the Monday

(26:01):
night recap that will launch on Tuesday. Is that will
be in Oklahoma watching Doug Gottlieb's coaching debut at Green Bay,
taking on his alma mater of Oklahoma State. But I
will get a chance to keep some week non action
and can't wait to join you next week.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Can't wait for it. Get get better, feel better, and
get ready to cheer loudly. They have devices that can
make the noise for you. I'll leave a boov of
Zela in your inbox.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'll try to get it through security for sure. Burst.
It's great having you, Yeah, stop by any time.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
Absolutely always fun.

Speaker 5 (26:31):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Thanks first for Ryan bursching around my Karmen. I'm dan Byer,
this is I want her FLEs
