Speaker 2 (00:19):
You're listening to the best of Lead on Couple with
Chris Brusa and Ron Harker.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Let's start here. The Lions went down to Dallas. They
smashed the Cowboys, and you think it was a statement game.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Make your case.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, well, I mean, and it's not like as if
they beat some world beaters. But I think sometimes you
have to just go in and do exactly what you're
supposed to do, and is demolish who is in front
of you on the schedule, and you can only play
who's in front, right. They couldn't just skip ahead and
go play the forty nine Ers skip ahead to next
week when they play the Vikings.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
The Cowboys are in front of us.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
The Cowboys felt good getting a good, solid win against
the Pittsburgh's Steelers the week prior. Let's go in here
show them we are an NFC championship caliber team, a
Super Bowl going caliber team, and demolished them and show
the rest of the league this is what we do.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
What we do is whatever we want.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Rod Parker, you want us to run the ball, running
the ball with two backs, giving Montgomery and Gibbs. We
want us to pass the ball. Jared Goff was out
there throwing up numbers. You want us to have trick plays.
We throw in an offensive lineman regularly. I mean, whatever
you want it defensively as well. And obviously we'll getting
ada to Hutchinson in just a second. But the Lions
just showed you to me while they're saying, I don't

(01:36):
forget about us arguably the second best team in the
entire NFL. And that's exactly what you're supposed to do
going there, dominate a team that you feel is inferior,
and that suggests what they did. That's what you're supposed
to do. That's not a statement game. Okay, because the
Cowboys have.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Given up one hundred and sixty seven points in their
last four home games. Okay, in their last four home
games dating back to last season play playoff loss against
the Packers. Okay, with an upstart rookie quarterback and first
year starting I should say the Cowboys have been outscored
in the first half one ten to thirty five this season.

(02:12):
The Cowboys have lost their first three home games right
for the first time since twenty ten, and been out
scored by sixty six points in those games. So I'm
not knocking the Lions for doing what they did, but
that's not a statement game. Everybody. This is like the
Dallas Cowboys are the general hospital of the NFL. Everybody

(02:33):
gets well they over there. It's like a familiar woman
on the block. Everybody knows her.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
I'm just saying, and there's nothing special here with that.
I'm just this.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, you know you want to wave your Oh look
what the Lions did. Oh my god, they just trassed Elijah.
I'm so glad you hear the record on this, because if.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
The Lions would have lost, nobody would have came in
here saying rogers, they should have been trying.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
They came in here. How do you losing the Cowboys?
The Lions are fronts Dad Campbell. This is exactly what
we thought. He loses the game, he's supposed to win.
Why you know you would have did that.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I will talking about this this whole time when you're
playing right back here, I would how can I make
the Lions game insignificant?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Don't do that, Rob was insignificant. Everybody has beaten the
Cowboys down. It's not like the Cowboys had a couple
of close losses at home, or they were playing well
and all that and the Lions came in and rolled
over them.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
That's not what happened.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
The Lions followed the script for all the teams that
have played there before that beat down by the Packers
and the playoffs, the Cowboys had won sixteen straight at home.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
They have been a juggernaut.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Now, if that that beating that team like this, Okay,
I'm not gonna come in here and give you some
false narrative if that was the case, But you can't celebrate.
They did their job. They're on the schedule. I'm not
taking a poo poo in right now.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
No, no, no, I saw a lot of people off some
prune juice right now.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
But now this whole idea like you're sticking your chest out,
like they did something, they didn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
First of all, First of all, who was sticking their
chest out? The Lions already knew they were gonna beat
the Cowboys out, and all of us Lions fans knew
they were gonna beat the Cowboys down. A matter of fact, no,
I think you even picked the Lions. So they did
what they're supposed to do. My only point is how
many times have we seen a team come up on
a schedule and they either barely beat them or barely survive,

(04:29):
or they mess around and lose like the Pittsburgh Steelers did,
who ended up bouncing back this week and looking good.
To me, the Lions made a statement. And by the way,
Dan Campbell wasn't playing. Dan Campbell kept his starters in.
He wanted to punish them. Some of it wasn't the
Cowboys fault. It was also the rest fault from last year.
Remember the whole two point conversion and all that. He
kept trying to throw a two offensive linemen. I think

(04:50):
like five offensive linemen caught a pass. I mean they
were trying to make a statement and say, look, we're
smashing anybody in front of us.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
We don't care who.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
They kept going after Dak and when Aiden Hutchinson went down,
so to me, they didn't. Nobody said it was a
statement game, as if they were playing on Vikings this
coming week is a statement game because they'll just say
I'm the best team in the NFC North arguably, if
not the best division in all of football. That's a
statement game where they play the Vikings this coming week.
But no, they went in there smacked up the cowgirls.

(05:19):
That's what they're supposed to know. Thought it was my mouth?
Yes you did, you thought they They demolished them.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
And that's what I like to see. Put your foot
on somebody's throat.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Sometimes we see that in sports where they play around,
let somebody and they get off schedule, they don't look good.
Go in there, beat them down like they're supposed to it.
In fact, stomp on them boys. And that's what they did.
Made me happy to that win. Plus two seventy five
will get you on the subway in New York. It's
just inflation might not be that any That's what it is.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I still take the subway and I'm still hopping over
the little Turnstown.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
No, go ahead, don't do it. It's gonna cost you, man,
little blooper air. We're gonna do what we're gonna do. Man. Sorry,
there we go, Homer, Homer, right there at that ball,
go drop.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Look at the Jets going to the Knight That Dodgers
Stadium is sixty three Dodgers at the time.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Don't come back and you know what, and you know
what I don't like about you don't come back from
Detroit on a plane ride thinking about how you're going
poopool on Detroit. That's craziness, That's that's just Why did
you not get a Coney dog? Did you not at
the Coney Island? Yeah, that's what your man saying. Whose
birthday it was? It was Chico, Call Tico right, put
them on speakerphone and he's gonna be like, Rob, really,
this is what you got for my birthday party at

(06:33):
the city. The city was turned up. We got a
great win, smacked up America's team. And what did I
tell you on Friday, Roger? Did I tell you the
Lions are America's new favorite team.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Speaking of as we're watching this game here, uh, you
want to just continue to poop pool on greatness and
things that have been doing well he would you like
to continue? So far so so the the lion's coming
in and taking care of business. You know, that's nothing.
How the book the bullpen has been spectacular. Don't make
me go Steve the Sager and quote these stats for
you again. And now all of a sudden, the bullpen
ain't talking about nothing for you.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
All I said is I was on MLB Network on
the Showdown with Brian Kenny, and he said to me,
point blank, are you ready to give the Dodgers bullpen
some credit?

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Now?

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I look straight into the camera and I said, no way,
no how, And they can't win a World series with
the bullpen. Today is a perfect example, Walker Buehler. I mean,
Ferris Bueller should have pitched today on this regular rotation turn.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
And guess what they did.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
They instead of starting him, which they got to pitch
him eventually, right, Kelvin. It ain't like he ain't pitching
at all. He's got to pitch at some point in
a seven game series. Why not pitch him on the
regular rest, in this regular rotation spot. So instead they
go with the bullpen. They fall behind early the bullpen.
Do you really think the bullpen's gonna pitch you? Thirty

(08:09):
three innings without without a run. How long is that
gonna last?

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Right?

Speaker 3 (08:14):
The Dodgers pitching, I should say, And then the bullpen's
been outstanding, so at some point you gotta understand that.
And if you're gonna win, Walker Bueller is gonna have
to pitch, even if he gave you today four or
five innings or something.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Did you get my points?

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Walker Bueler has been Fairs Bueler day off. He's been
a lot of days off of my guy. And this
is my point on this whole thing, is that it
would this has been done before. The Tampa Bay Rays
have done this for years, all right, the opener and
pitching guys or whatever. And they've won a lot of games.
You can win a lot of games. What they haven't
been able to do is win a championship. And that's

(08:53):
all I'm saying is the Dodgers. The reason that I
changed my pick. I did pick the Dodgers and the
Yankees before the season started, but when this series started,
I picked the Mets in six games. And the only
reason I did I think the Dodgers have a great team.
They don't have enough pitching in a seven game series.

(09:14):
The last series was five, it was able to work
out for him, it's not gonna work.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
I don't think anyone would say the Dodgers have enough
pitching in the sense of they have a bunch of starters.
I mean, guys are injured, and if they're not injured,
they're not playing and pitching. How you would expect them
to Ali Walker Buehler if you go back to two
years ago, he's an ace, he's their best pitcher. You're
excited about him being on the mound, having the ball
and the big Gammy Johnson. Yeah, then he has Tommy Johnson.
He's just not the same. And that's just call it
what it is. So I think they've been able to

(09:41):
get magic out of this bullpen. But to be fair,
the bullpen has looked really good all season long, So
I don't think going to that well is acidine when
that's what's been working for them. And look, you're gonna
lose a game. Nobody expect them to come here in
sweet the Mets. So you go out there and you
also hope the good thing for the Dodgers is hope
this in lineup offensively get some runs going too, so

(10:03):
that if this bullpen does.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Give up four or five. Obviously you don't want to
give up seven.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
But if they give up four or five, you mess
around and still win five to four, six to five,
and you say, okay, we were able to be in it, compete,
our offense came through and saved the day. And listen,
over a years all over, yup, they is the Dodgers
have had great staffs and lost before. They've had solid
staffs with some injuries and lost before. So why can't
they win this year? Like this can be might be

(10:29):
what they needed, a little bit of different. They got
a little extra fighting them. I like what I see
from this team collectively. They got a little bite in them,
something they don't normally have. Sometimes they're almost too methodical,
almost too even measured to even kill.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Just this is how it is. They got a little
spunk in them.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Tay Oscar Hernandez show, Hey, Mookie's finally coming alive.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
You see what this bullpen is doing.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
They got a little fight in them, more than I've
seen in the last four or five years. So it's
not optimal having to use a bullpen so much. But
you know, especially with an offense like this, when they
get going, I just I don't I don't think you
can lose a glass.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Now, No, Kershaw, you don't have any faith in Walker Bulah.
Those are guys that and win like like if you
can win without them, why why was the juggernaut?

Speaker 1 (11:15):
The Mets aren't a juggernaut. But that's not you gee
what I'm saying, so like it's I would give it
to you if there are two teams where you're like,
you gotta face that.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
But but here, here's what, here's you have to look
at it. The Mets did exactly what they wanted to do,
which was to come to La and split. They never
they want to come in here to win two games. Okay,
you got that right. They get selected in game one
nine to nothing, and they still go to New York
with what they came for, which was a split, And
now three games are in New York. I mean they

(11:46):
come back in the driver's seat. They feel better about themselves.
And now I don't know if Walker Buller picture in
the next game that they didn't want that they that
they didn't want them.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
To pitch at Dodger. Oh he pitches better on the row.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
He hadn't pitched well anywhere this year on the road,
Like like seriously, but hey.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Y'all, stuit you used to have to pitch to my guys.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
And we know there's a show, hey moment that's getting
ready to happen, right, Freddy Freeman has looked amazing. By
the way, for whatever reason, they get to the World Series,
and even if they don't necessarily wait but they get there.
This story, this see, this is gonna be an amazing
postseason for Freddie Freeman. He's had some great hits, some
clutch moments for them on pretty much a dag near
broken ankle out there.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
So you still got a picture.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
This Dodgers offense, Key k Hernandez has been spectacular throughout
his career. He's a regular guy throughout the regular season,
and then all of a sudden, he's spectacular during the
postseason historically with fourteen home runs in his career. So
all right, Matts, you did what you gotta do. Now,
if I'm the Dodgers, I'm going to New York to
do what I gotta do. You know how bigg he
had the song going going back back to Kelly, I'm

(12:46):
going going back back to New York. Okay, like snooping
is said New York, New York in the City of Dreams.
They're coming across the buildings like snooping them did in
ninety six.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Or whatever that video came out. That's fun, But you
can't do it without pitching in the postseason.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
But no, they have done it with pitching. It's just
been a multitude of dudes.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
It's just it's hard to guarantee or bank on the
style because it has been done before and it hasn't
been successful. As far as winning a World shirwa for
them this Dave Rest was Huges.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
This was a game.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
If you go up too oh, you know what I mean,
You're in the driver's seat. The Mets have to win
four out of five and two are in LA you
know what I mean, Like you got to go to
New York. All you need to do is win one game,
and that's not what happened. So I just think it's
going to be a tough road. The reason I changed
my pick is strictly because I don't believe they have
enough for a seven games because you gotta win this

(13:39):
series and then if the Yankees or whatever you gotta,
then you gotta win another seven game series without a
couple of starters who you would count norm in the season.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
That's true. Listen, it's that makes it that makes it
tough for the road. The greatness is never easy rived.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
And as a matter of fact, because we got Sheeco
City coming up, the people of the greater Los Angeles
area are excited that you change your pick because now
it's almost written in stone that the Dodgers are going
to win.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to

Speaker 3 (14:17):
But one guy, if you didn't watch him play, Lamar Jackson,
I mean, he literally is superman at this point.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
I don't know if there's anyone.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
I mean, if Tyreek Hill's going with Tua, maybe, but
I don't know if there's anyone more spectacular to watch,
just because at any given moment, he is going to
do something that is amazing to witness. And so you
mentioned they started out O two. Now they've won four straight.
They look great and it's like the old Tupac song,
how do you want it?

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Right?

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Lamar Jackson's rush for over four hundred yards two scores
already this season number two all time now rushing for
a quarterback, which is incredible.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
He's averaging more than six yards of carry. Then six
yards a carry is ridiculous, by the way.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
The scary part if you're going up against the Ravens,
you know it was almost averaging six yards himself, Derrick Henry.
So it's like, how do you want it? Like I
said with the Tupacs, So what am I supposed to do?
But then let's go to the park Rod Parker where
people like to say for the last few seasons, Yeah,
he just can't pass.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
He just can't pass well.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
He's currently averaging the highest passing yards per game his
career two hundred and fifty five. He's also fifth in
the NFL and QBR, fourth in raw QBR ready fourth
in passing yards, fifth in touchdown pass the top five,
and number one in first down percentage. So he is
just absolutely it's become video games circa two thousand and two,

(15:38):
two thousand and three, Mike Vick when you play with
him on Madden, where your friends will say, no, you
can't play with him. It's not fair. But that's what
Lamar Jackson has become. And the only thing that I
would say, I'm still he still can improve it, right,
every single person can improve on something. He still needs
to knock down those three foot puts. That's the only thing,
meaning those couple of easy passes a guy maybe he's

(16:00):
flanked out to the left, he's wide open. Sometimes still
under or overthrows him. So there's still that to be
left to be desired. But he looks ridiculous. And I
can't believe you know what mat at the entire NFL.
How did y'all let this man team up with Derrick Henry?

Speaker 4 (16:15):
It is amazing.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
How did y'all let him get Did you see what
he does with no backs? Because all of the backs
were hurt last year. Now you give him arguably the
best back the last.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Five six and he looks with juvenated, He looks great.
And here's the other thing too, You talked about it.
Lamar Jackson has thrown for six hundred and seventy one
yards the last two games.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
It's not just.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Him just all running right, and oh well, you don't
know who's gonna run as a him, Derek.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
No, he's throwing a football, throwing it and his had
Zay Flowers looking great, had a career yard one hundred
plus yards for him. He's got some weapons. Obviously, you
know how they got the tight ends Andersen. Likely they're
just a scary team. This is why you and I
have agreed. They're just the best team because I can
come into a game with them no matter the opponent,
and no what I'm getting, right, I know what I'm getting.

(17:02):
The defense can continue to tighten up a little bit,
but I like what I'm getting.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
I know what Lamar is gonna do. I know what
they're henry and let the chips fall where they may,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Whereas other team, I don't know what I'm getting from
the Bills, and I think Kansas City Chiefs, I don't
think that.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
I don't know is the offense gonna ball out.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
There's a few teams where you're like, I like them,
But with the Ravens, you know what you're getting. And
I like that in my teams where I walk into
it knowing I got a fighting chance because we're gonna
do X, Y and Z night in night out.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Here's here's my thing. I think it's totally and I
get it.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
We're in this world where you know, if you don't
win a championship, you're not validated. And this is okay,
by the way, I hate that, and I'm gonna say
why it has its place, But we've gotten carried away.
We totally carried away. And this is what they do
with Lamar Jackson. Okay, like even now, well, no matter
what he does, Oh well, I didn't won a championship. Well,

(17:53):
it wasn't that long ago that Damn Marino that people
were saying that Damn Marino was the the best quarterback
they'd ever seen. And he didn't win the Super Bowl.
In fact, he went to a Super Bowl his second
year and never went back. But nobody held it against
Dan Marino because you saw what kind of player.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
He's a tremendous quarterback.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Okay, we cannot totally discount or pooh pooh his career.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Uh and other guys who never wanted.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Everybody can't win a championship, and I've just mean can't
from the standpoint that.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
It takes a whole lot of people.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
Like basketball, if you're that great, you can control it
a bit more because there's only five five guys played
both sides of the right football.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
You could be great offensively and your defense gives it
up or whatever.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
You're the most amazing defensive player ever. But your you
can team can never see bad head coach, whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
There's a lot of stuff, but in my case, I
don't know how you can watch Lamar Jackson, watch him
play and not think that this guy will get it
figured out and will win a super Bowl like that
guy to me where it's like, well he put up
these numbers, but he'll never win.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
I'm trying to tell you.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
When I covered Michael Jordan in his early days, remember
it took seven years, right, there were people said that
about Michael Jordan. Oh, he's a great player. Yeah, yeah,
it'scoring sixty three points against the Celtics whatever. He don't
make his teammates better and he can win all against
all the stuff and dunk contests and all that stuff,

(19:25):
but he not gonna win a championship. That's what they
thought about Michael Jordan. I'm not saying Lamar's Michael Jordan.
I'm just saying, be careful with painting a guy with
that kind of brush. If I would love to hear
from you, are you still using that crutch after watching
this guy's won two MVPs, right, almost too unanimous one

(19:46):
by one vote, that he didn't and he's on track.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
How in the world is.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Uh My Homes ahead of him and the MVP because
Mahomes is not having an m that's allation and just
you what am I right? I mean like Lamar is
Lamar is playing infinitely like than Lamar?

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Then uh then Patrick Mahomes, that's what out of doubt
And Patrick Mahomes would say that too. That's one thing
I like about him. He's you know, he's admitted that.
He's like, I'm just keep working on my fundamentals every day,
trying to get right. He's not actingly, he's not sugarcoating
or acting like he's just been amazing. And he's credited
the defense. So shout out to Patrick Mahomes for doing that,
not acting like I don't see it, y'all don't know
how good are you? He's like, yo, I'm not. I'm
struggling little bit right now. Well, you know what a

(20:28):
couple of points I want to make people Listen, let
me look at this camera for Elijah. I know sports
debate shows, Rob and I get into it, have a
little fun. Sometimes it's okay to just appreciate greatness. It's okay,
it's okay to just be like, Wow, Lamar Jackson is fantastic,
and I love the fact that I get to watch

(20:49):
him for three three and a half hours.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
The guy play like, you don't have two ways?

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Why he didn't do that? Well, he didn't do that.
You know he hasn't been Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
I get there, my chips and guager, my popcorn said
his book is good and it's okay to enjoy it,
and we'll get there. We'll have the conversation.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
And if he goes a whole career and he never wins,
then you could use that. But to just use that
every time he does something great, go well, but he
never won a super Bowl or he never got through
the thing. I'll say just say that to about a
lot of players. We talked about it before. Jason Tatum
and the Celtics.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Oh, he never wanted him. I just don't trust him.
He never won a super Bowl championship.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
And guess what they did this year. The joker, Yeah,
you can win all the MVP. Yeah, but you gotta
win to win.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
I mean, Lebron believe I know people, we're tired of
it now because he's went, he's won a bunch and
he's gone so many times but until he had to
win one, right, and so you have to do that.
I do think it's a compliment when you reach that
air where we say, well, you haven't won it, because
that's a because basically we were saying, man, you've been
dominating so long, winning MVPs, winning you know, awards, putting

(21:55):
up stats, getting to the postseason, but not getting far enough.
So it's a backhanded compliment that we're saying, well, you
can't win the big one, because all that says is
you keep showing up, getting to big games and games
that matter, games that count, primetime games, but you got
to win it. But I will say what I've been
watching is a slight parallel to It reminds me of
Peyton Manning, who eventually, of course would win a couple,

(22:18):
but it took him a minute to get there because
he couldn't beat Brady. And I do see a little
bit he was winning MVP, he's putting up crazy numbers,
breaking records, and it kind of does remind me at
times a little bit of Lamar Jackson and also Patrick
Mahomes kind of being the new era two point zero
of Manning. And Brady, these stars that are the best
quarterbacks in their position, best quarterbacks for a decade, the

(22:40):
inner generation, but one can't quite beat the other one yet.
So we'll see what happens later on this season. But man,
I just enjoyed Lamar Jackson, and I think it's a
shame that we've gotten so debate crazy, even politically right,
you can have a nuanced conversation, it's gotta be Trump's
Sowart's ever.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
No Kamla hater. I've never It's like whoa. Everything is
so divisive.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Lamar Jackson is fun, he's talented, he's great, and I
think it's okay that just embrace.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
It's okay that fans want him to win and.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
It should eventually hold it, but hold him accountable right
to win, and I get that. I'm not saying that
we're giving him a pass, but we're in this throes
of a regular season.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
He can't do anything about that.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yes season until he gets there yet, and you can't
always keep throwing that out no matter what. Look at,
this guy's a chance to win a third. He won
already two MVPs, younger than anybody, and he got a
chance to win a third. I mean, unless Jayden Daniels
or c. J. Stroud just go crazy and you know,

(23:41):
for like a ten straight games of three hundred plus yards,
three touchdown, something crazy, it's his to lose. Because the
thing about Lamar, give me a pen I can piner
pencil this in Lamar Jackson. Two hundred yards passing minimum,
seventy five rushing, five tacular plays and two touchdowns every

(24:02):
single game. There's not a lot of guys I can
do that for right now in this NFL, you know
what I mean, Where I'm two two fifties passing, maybe
a touchdown, maybe one hundred rushing in a touchdown, let
me just start there, and three highlights that'll be top
three plays on Sports Center. So he's just that spectacular
that I just enjoy watching him, and I think, and

(24:22):
that's why you again, you and I with that running game,
the way he makes plays, That's why they're the best
team to me right now, because I know going in
and that's why I'm big on the Lions, because I
know what I'm getting from those two teams.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
All right.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
This is what they do night in, night out. They
have an identity, and I like that in my teams.
Pick the sport, it doesn't matter. I like knowing win, loser, draw.
This is what we do, this is how we get down,
and this is what I can expect.
