You're listening to the Best of the Odd Couple.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Earlier today, it was announced by the league and reported
by ESPN Sports Just RADI to pick your favorite thing.
Same thing that Draymond Green was issued a warning not fine,
this time for a viral interaction he had with the
fan on Sunday night. I know you probably missed because
lot of NFL action went on Sunday, But during their
(00:49):
game on Sunday, Draymond Green got into it with a
fan who was courtside, and afterwards told the media that
the reason why he got into it was the guy
made a good joke at first, but you can't keep
calling me a woman. I got four kids, one on
the way, you can't keep calling me a woman. Well,
we found out after the fact because the fan told
(01:10):
us I'm a woman. That the Impets had no issue
the impetus behind the whole back and forth was not
that he was calling him a woman or calling him
a B word or anything like that. No, he was
calling him Angel Reese over and over exactly because Draymond
Green had a portion during the game where he got
multiple offensive rebounds and smoked multiple layups a la Angel Reese,
(01:34):
and that was the empeatis on the whole thing again.
No fine, but a stern talking to for Draymond Green.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
But you know what, they probably should have find them.
But I but I get it.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
I'll say this, Draymond Green is the biggest hypocrite in
the National Basketball Association. He's the biggest baby. He's the
one who goes after people all the time. He's the
one always bumping his gums and you know, and all
this stuff. And he's a big baby that somebody who
(02:07):
paid their money, who's sitting in great seats right where
he can hear him from. He not in the rafters,
he's all the way down front, calls him Angel Reas
and he gets his panties in a bunch. Really, oh,
that guy's out of bounds. He should have said, hey, uh, Draymond, uh,
(02:28):
you know, you make me sick. Because you have a
beautiful wife, you make multimillions of dollars, and you have
four kids with one on the way. But you make
me sick? Is that the heckling that he wanted? Does
he understand how heckling works? I mean, this wasn't disrespectful,
This wasn't racist. There's nothing wrong with that. It's it's
(02:49):
a propos. Oh about like, dude, I mean, because we
know angel reats with the me bounds, you know, like
you take nine shots and get eight rebounds off of.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
It with the me bounds. I get it. It was
actually clever. What's the first word? Clever? You're gonna take
too open, you guys? Yeah, clever?
Speaker 5 (03:08):
You know I said that was actually clever. Yeah, haven't
running back ready?
Speaker 4 (03:12):
I always gotta wait a minute. I gotta put the
glass on to go. Let me see. Okay, see okay.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Clever, that was clever. You know what the fan did,
rob He kept it basketball? Literally, he called him a
basketball player. Now is she a woman yet? But he
called him a hooper who does similar things? And what
if people said about Angelice's game, Wow, she kind of
plays like a female Draymond right, great defense, talks a
(03:36):
little smack tough, can make a layer, you know, rebound
me bounds as well, So that was a clever heckling
that was actually basketball as well, and to me and
Bye by doing it, he actually insinuates to me and
and kind of insults Angelice as if that was like
so insulting to call me angel Reice another hooper?
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Like what it better?
Speaker 5 (03:58):
He mentioned, Oh why he couldn't call me Lisa Leslie
like so to me and even being a hypocritical about this,
a hypocrite, you didn't insult to Injuries.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Let's continue some things.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
What didn't you and I talk about Draymond a few
weeks ago because he called a professional football player who
has been an MVP.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Candidate a bum. He called Dak press.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Mouth and now somebody calls him hooper exactly, and that
fit what it happened in that game.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
It's apropos, I literally wrote. He kept it basketball and
it was apropos. You missed a bunch of layups like
she has done at times. And to score a layup,
missed a bunch, got a bunch of rebounds, puts it in.
You literally did that. Injuries has done that. Can not
again you now to mention again this is a basketball player.
He didn't call you a name, he didn't call you
a a something else. He didn't call you a B word.
(04:49):
Oh did I mentioned You've called people your teammates a
B word. So I just thought from a guy who
has stumped people, kicked people in the Kiwi's punch, people
call people names all it's in trouble, just called a
pro athlete who he knows what it's like to be
a pro athlete.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
You know what it's like a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
You know what it's like to have the spotlight on you.
And you called Dak Prescott a bum. This is crazy
to me that this is what got his panties in
a bunch. But then I probably shouldn't say panties because
then now I'm calling number one by saying that, I'm
just you know, it's just me, that's true. But I'm
just blown away by that. Like Draymond, you've been in
so many competitive games. You're from where you're from, from Saginaw,
(05:27):
You're from Michigan. You know how tough Saganaw is played
in Michigan State, played in the league.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
That's what got you riled up. It's just so ridiculous.
This is who he is.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
If he said he called you their dead family member
or something, and that, Okay, I get it, I get.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
It, angel Rees, when you literally did an angel Rees.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Move, it's just but the whole idea, like like, this
is what fans do.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
They heckle you. You know why they heckle you because
you matter.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
When you don't matter, Nobody heckles a guy who doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
He is different, rob as you're mentioned and then disrespect right,
it's a heckle.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Boo, you suck boo, you missus sean air ball. That's heckling.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
That's a part of the experience. And all they want
to do is get your attention, and you gave them
your attention rather than acting like it didn't hear it.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
It's so easy to ignore. That's what most professionals do.
They just ignore it.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Now, if there's something racist or something really that cross,
that's something different. This was basketball, This was the sports experience,
and for him to get all worked up makes no
sense to me.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Sager put the camera on me hitting dogs holler, and
he was embarrassed that he did exactly what the person
was calling him out about. Injuries, from time to time
has been known to miss munch of layups, get the
rebound missing, and put it back in. He did exactly that,
So that's why it's stung rob because that's exactly what
he was. He was pre performed like an Alaree sequence,
(06:59):
and he was upset about that. But how can you
get mad when somebody calls you a professional basketball player?
Speaker 6 (07:04):
Right?
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Make it make sense? None of it makes sense? All right?
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox is all telephone
number eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
And you know the apology is coming, right, yeah, because
that's what it meanything by it, because not as if
Angel Rees is a bad player, he leads the league
in apologies.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
It's coming. My bad.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
I didn't really see it like that. I was just
saying that I was a female. You don't it's coming.
Speaker 2 (07:30):

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Rob Gen uh Big it ended up being one of
those games we looked at kind of marked on the calendar.
You had the Seahawks and the Rams. Good game in
a sense of theater, but Sam Donald was terrible and
four interceptions in that game, and he got some even
anonymous coaches talking right.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Yeah, the Viking said okay, thank you. Yeah, they went anonymous.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
It was the Vikings in the Rams, like we've seen
this now, zero touchdowns, four picks, the third time in his.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Career this has happened. You got to take it easy
with that. That's incredible.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
I didn't even know you could get away with more
than one of those where you just bent forever.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Nathan Peterman somewhere like, oh oh, but when I do
it right.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
But you know, it was a big game because both
of those teams were vine for first places not only
a division, but in the NFC, Like there're two of
the best teams in that conference. And so on Tuesday,
the Athletic Mike Sandal front of the show spoke to
a slew of anonymous coaches non execs on a series
of different NFL quarterbacks, and when they were asking about
Sam Darnold, one of the anonymous coaches said, quote talking
(09:41):
about the four interception game. Sam just gonna have that
in him for life. He will play great, he'll play good,
then he's gonna have one of those plays. The problem
is when you get established as a playoff team like
the Vikings were, like the Seahawks are, everyone is scared
to death about when the that game is gonna.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Happen, including yours. Truly, this is why I was out
on him. Remember I told you very clearly I'm out.
I'm not reshigning him if I'm the Vikings the two
biggest games of the year, and then here's another game
against the Rams. With the playoff game against the Rams.
We know how big that game against the Lions was.
(10:21):
Remember Kelvin, This wasn't like the defense dominated Sam Donody
couldn't move the ball. They were in the red zone
all day in the first half, and then they couldn't
get it in right. He couldn't score, and then it
came back. Of course in the second half they teed
off on him.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
But my point is Sam Donald will have this until.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
He wins a big playoff game or people can feel
confident that he's not going to turn into a pumpkin.
We talk about it all the time, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Remember
all the time when it wasn't his job come in
awesome made magic, here's a job, It comes to Pumpkin?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Who else?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
The other guy?
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Always we had another guy?
Speaker 5 (11:04):
Well though I don't think he has helped from the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Nick folesh Nick Foley.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
How many times they try to give him the job, right, Like, hey,
we want to make him to Nick Foles is unbelievable,
Let's make him the starting quarterback. Uh No.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
The challenge with this is like, it's not that you're wrong.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
He has, you know, so far and if he didn't
have meaningful games because he wasn't playing that good, and
then all of a sudden he has meaningful games last
season specifically, and he didn't perform.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
The trouble is like, you have to have a quarterback,
right because.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
If you're let's say you're the Seahawks, Well he's better
than Geno, right, so now you got an upgrade.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
He's got you too.
Speaker 5 (11:44):
Over the last two seasons, he's twenty one and six
and he's gotten that with what I think makes it
more interesting, he's done it now with two franchise, not
like he's the same team, same system, same everything. Okay,
he's done it out with a completely different team, completely
different side of the country, you know, a whole new environment,
and he's trying one is six so far between last
season and this season.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
And you look at the numbers. Numbers are really good.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
They're Pro Bowl caliber numbers, and it that's what you
want from a guy, and you kind of got a
discount in comparison to the productivity. But again, you're right
that he hasn't shown up and he has these freak
out moments.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
He had it.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
I mean you look a couple of those intercepts that
told Rob g I don't mind Wonder, I don't even
mind two. Sometimes, look if you're if you're trying to
make a play, that's part of the position. I don't
mind my quarterback trying to make a play. That's part
of the game.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
At times.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
What I don't want you to do is spiral out
of control right where it's just you can't get out
of it. You get you get freaked out. Jared Goff
to your point, did that last year against the Commander.
I don't mind an interception two first half? Josh Allen,
what do you have?
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Three? Yeah, four four? Four turnovers maybe five? Three? No,
it was was it three a fumble man? He might
have had five turner. It was bad. But you look
at Josh Allen this past week.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
A couple of interception first half, you know, shakes it off,
three touchdowns on the ground, three through the air. Don't
let it spiral out of control. And if you're Sam Darnold, dude,
you got one of the best defenses. You got a
running game that is one of the better on Once
you guys get rolling, you got amazing skill sets on
the outside, relax, rely on that. You don't have to
(13:12):
be Superman. And that's what I will be trying to communicate,
because dude, I don't mind if you turn over. I
don't care if it's the playoffs you turn that's that happens.
You turn over twice, Hey, it happens. We had a
whole second half. You can't be horrible in the first half,
horrible in the second half. Bounce it off, bounce back,
shake back, let's get it going. So that would be
my thing with him is he can't spiral out of control.
(13:32):
We believe in you.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
You are guy.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
I love his teammate that came out and said, you know,
don't blame him he's cutting at the you know, he's
our blanket quarterback and all that stuff. But yeah, I
can understand the concern. Moll leg lasts quick point, Rob.
If we're only gonna base it off like, well, you
know super Bowl, it's like, well, it's only been like
three guys in the last ten years, like Tom Brady,
Patrick Mahomes and but it's.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Not just the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Is the big games in those moments. That's why he
didn't get the contract. You could sit there and go,
what JJ McCoy, if they really believed in him, I
don't care about JJ McCarthy. If we found and stumbled
on the Sam Donald who was a first round drive
pick and had a really good college career, and we
happened to get him, and now he's matured and he's
(14:16):
ready to go and he knows our system, You sign
that guy, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Like, you know, I still think they should have.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
But but but that was the reservation and and that's
their that was their prerogative because they went into that
season with JJ McCarthy as their starter.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Then he gets injured. No, it's not because it's not
it's not just the JJ McCoy it's that I don't
want to give this guy that that money. I don't
believe in him. I think that's where it comes under it.
I absolutely get what you're saying. I still think you're
understanding the JJ. Like, let's say he didn't exist, JJ,
he wasn't on a roster. San Donald does what he
did for the Vikings. They absolutely resigned.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
No, but they don't because they traded, they move, They
moved up to get at ten.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
You go, all right, well we got But what they
might have done is franchise tagg him for a year,
not to give them I'm just saying like, like they're
not gonna run. It's just like the Daniel Jones when
they're talking about, oh yeah, we want to lock him up. No.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
No, if Daniel Jones.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Second half of the season is more like Giants and
he has the foreign receptions or he has some bad games,
they will rethink that because they'll say, was it the schedule?
You know we did have some easy games. Now all
of a sudden, here's some meltdown. Will make this one
interesting to our points.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
I hear you.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
I don't think they have anything waiting in the wings,
Like I said, JJ McCarthy so I think they will
resign because.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
I'm not convinced, because I just don't not when you
have to sign somebody to a big deal like that,
that's what.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
They're finding, these perfect little hybrid. It's great for you, Baker,
It's great for you, San Donald. Be great for you,
Daniel Jones, because look, we didn't think you were gonna
be anything anymore. Now you got some good money, Gino,
that'll be good for you if you're doing and not
break breaking the bank for the for the organization, if you're.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Seriously to be a free agent right in his spot,
Sam Donald, and to get the kind of Ricky din
contract that Seattle game that says something as well as
he's playing. I hear you, But I think so they
gave a two year deal to Justin Fields and he's
got a one plus one do you know what I mean?
Like like seriously, but if you're Sam Donald, who prior
(16:20):
to the Viking season, you go, he ain't about to
be no start?
Speaker 5 (16:22):
Yeah right, Sam Donald, You're twenty eight. It seems like
he's been in the league twelve year. Sam Donald's only
twenty eight. You just got this deal based off of
the season. Projects about it. The same as it should
the first half of it. You're about to get a
big deal, just like Baker did.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
I'm not convinced.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
So if you're Seahawks, you're not paying them why. I
need to see how the season plays out. Let's say
it pretty much saying that he's gonna have another stinker
here there, but mostly the same.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
It's depends on where I'm not going to invest.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Yeah, so if he gets twelve wins, which is they're
on track to get maybe more, but they're on track
to get that.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
No, I'm not the first playoff they lose.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
To their.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
And he has a bad game, because because it has
to prediccess. Let's say that he has he has a
bad game, and yeah, then I lose. Yeah, did I
have to say, Well, he might not be that guy
and signing. No.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
But I'm just saying I'm talking about if he's going
to take a franchise tag, I want to see him
one more year, give him another chance to look at it.
I'm talking about giving somebody a four year, big time
contract like Tom Brady. No, he's got to he's got
to win a playoff game before I really say, what
if he wins the first one, lose the next round.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
No, he's got to win a playoff game.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
I'm just I'm I'm not convinced that ultimately he will
turn back into the.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Let nobody get so rob if he wins like a
wild card game against I just got to see Bay, right,
and he's not great.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
He's not terrible.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
He's just okay, two d and twenty yards one touchdown whatever. Okay,
But then he goes the next week and he gets
Philly or he gets Rams and then they blow the
doors off him and he's terrible.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
I'd have to because of his history. I would be
afraid not to offer him some sort of deal, like
how to offer them a deal?
Speaker 7 (18:01):
Right?
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Which was which was middling? And what was it? One
in one? Wasn't it like, yeah, I guarantee is not
as big as yeah right right, It's not like.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Right, But it wasn't like here's two years fully guaranteed
and we believe in you. It wasn't that I would
be more after that kind of contract again, just to
make sure that I don't put myself out there, like
when the Giant signed Daniel Jones after that playoff win
against Minnesota, Right, they immediately regret it.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
That's the only thing immediately they did.
Speaker 5 (18:33):
But he's played infinitely better than Daniel Jones that year,
infinitely the last two ever had.
Speaker 2 (18:38):

Speaker 3 (18:50):
There is some scuttle bug going on that despite an
eight and two record, I mean, the best team in
the NFC, that not everybody is happy in Philadelphia with their.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
Quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Longtime Eagles reporter Derek Gunn was on Seth Joiner's post
game show on Sunday night. Seth join in front of
the show starts off his conversation discussing what's going wrong
with the offense. You know, they're winning, but they're not
performing at the level that they had previously and definitely
not to the standard they set for themselves. He starts
off by saying, quote, those things are dissected on film,
(19:27):
those things they're talked about amongst the quarterback coach, the
offensive coordinator, and the head coach, and yet when they
transferred to on field, Hurts plays his game, not the
game the coaches wanting to play his game. They can't
get him out of it. He wants to play very
conservative and it's frustrating a lot of ways to the
coaching staff, extremely frustrating to the players because when they
(19:49):
watch the film, they see what's available out there or
what could have happened, and it just didn't happen. But
from there he took it into the stratosphere and added
something else on the back end.
Speaker 8 (20:00):
Listen basically telling you there's a lot of people in
that organization that are frustrated with a quarterback situation right now.
But the quarterback understands he has them over a barrel.
This is almost Carson Went Part two. They're not gonna
eat They're not gonna eat this kind of money. Yet,
there's no way they're gonna eat this kind of money.
Look at the cap here they took when he got
rid of Carson.
Speaker 9 (20:19):
They look a took took them a couple of years
to get back on solid ground again footing because they
were handcuff financially because of what they o in the
capiat they took with Carson ware.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Where's the pushback? What's his name, Derry derk Gunn.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Where's the pushback to that ridiculous nonsense that he just
put out there, Carson freaking wins two point zero, like
they're going to release a quarterback who's just won you
a super Bowl, the super Bowl that they destroyed the
Chiefs and everybody said, all you gotta do is stop,
say Kwan Barkley, you can win, or the super Bowl
(21:02):
that he'd be had unbelievable numbers, he outplayed Mahomes and
they actually lost that super Bowl. Is that the quarterback
get talking about? The quarterback that's won twenty seven of
the last thirty two games. Is that the quarterback you're
talking about? You're just bumping your gums just to do it.
Carson Wentz doesn't even belong in the same conversation. Shame
(21:25):
on you, and shame on anybody who was on that
show who allowed him to put Carson Wins and Jalen
Hurts on the same plateau. Blasphem Me, one guy with
an NFL super Bowl call MVP. The other guy had
a great three quarters of a season before he got hurt.
(21:47):
All Right, he was gonna be the MVP that year,
and I'll give it to him. But to put them
on an equal plane and say that he's two point zero.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Mister Gunn Sports has a short MANU wins and losses.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Dude, I get you want to stir something up, my god,
and to allow him to just say it without saying,
Carson wins, he didn't win anything for philadelphia'all go ahead
and release Jake because basically wins insinuating well all of them.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
They can't release. Really, come on, Kelvin, that's gone too far.
And I understand. We talked to Suth Jordan right, we
had a Reybe earlier in the season. Robj think was yeah, yeah,
so Fatimore lit there is I understand the frustration with
the offense. They've scored sixteen points or less and for
their last few games, handful of games, and you want more.
(22:45):
If I told you they got these amazing receivers on outside,
they got Sakwon Barkley, they got Jalen Hurts, who's been
good throughout his career. They got this offensive line defense
and get to the ball back. You would think they'd
be better offensively. So I think it's absolutely fair to
be upset with the offense and question it. But the
idea that Jalen Hurts is just replaceable or like we
just get rid of Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
I don't buy that.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
And as much as I've been critical of at times,
let's not act like there's just another Jalen Hurts walking
around there, or that if you just simply replace him,
you automatically would be doing better. I think one of
the challenges is Jalen Hurts, I believe has fallen in
love with some of the other numbers for cute for quarterback.
That's what that That's not what I'm even I know
what you're saying. That's why you can't just be like, man,
(23:28):
we want to get rid of him. If only the
money wasn't you That's what crazy?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
What he put out there, and equate him to Carson
Wentz is blasphem me.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
He that's what I don't you want to talk about it.
This was left on it down there. You could have
done that. You could have made that.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Though we could go all day about every quarterback and
every situation Jared Golf.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
There were plays he could have made on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
We could do that.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
I'm not going to sit here and argue that. But
to compare him the cost, and that's why why I
moved that terror.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
I moved on in a sense that I get the
whole point of when we were hamstrung by the money
and we couldn't get rid of him. You don't want
to get rid of jailb. Come on, you want him
to play better, but you don't want to get Jurdan.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
He let me pet last year.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
He's twenty two of his last twenty five games. He
has been he's been in Super Bowl a couple of times.
He's been one of the best, most highest winning percentages
since he's gotten in the league. You don't just want
to get rid of that guy. Yes, you absolutely want
to tweak some things. Here is what I think that
he wont to tweak. I do believe that he's falling
in love. I've looked a couple of things up, so
(24:30):
if you look at him, I think he's enjoyed his numbers,
some of the numbers not the typical like yards and touchdowns.
I think he likes that he has the fewest interceptions
in the league right now, he only has one. I
think he loves that he has the passer rating of
one of seven, which is fifth in the league. Meaning
I think he's scared to take some risks, throw some passes.
(24:50):
I might get in a set that we talked about
his literarlier. Sometimes you got to do that to make
some plays. Sometimes your receivers aren't going to get the
most scenation. Know it is, but I'm I'm changing. I'm
saying he absolutely wins.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
And I think that's not the com But that wasn't
the conversation. I hear what you're saying, But his conversation
was about if the money was right. Didn't get out
that you can hurd of Jalen Hurts a guy who
wins at this high clip. God just won the Super Bowl.
Every we don't even have the like the AMMO to
to go at that, like that's just crazy. You're not
(25:23):
around at.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Something different than I understand that. I'm not. No one's
gonna argue with that with sixteen points a game. So
that's not the argument. But the argument, Rob is what
I'm saying, What do you want me to do?
Speaker 1 (25:34):
Argument?
Speaker 5 (25:35):
Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts are not the same guy.
Jalen Hurts. All he does is win. He gets to
the postseason, he gets to the Super Bowls. He's win
the two he lost, one played very well in it.
He won one was MVP. So that the getting rid
of him is not an option, and it doesn't automatically
mean you're going to be better. You might get some
more uh some more numbers like maybe they putting on
(25:56):
more yards per game, but the idea of win, so
to me, that's why I'm saying, Okay, that's just crazy,
and maybe there's a way to tweak it so you
get back to kind of maybe the productivity you want
from them, because the idea that you're getting rid of
jating hurts is crazy, is asini, and I understand the
frustration at times, but you're not getting rid of a
guy who wins at that clip.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
That's crazy.
