Speaker 4 (03:47):
Right, Uh, let's welcome into the Odd Couple crew, because
you wouldn't be able to do this fine radio program
without who we got. Rob g is our producer. So
Mexican is Alex is our engineering. I think that is
so awesome. One more time, Alex.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Behind the curtain.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
He was scrambling for his life at that moment. He
was just pressing buttons. At that point. That's robbing to
the goat. You ain't the goat no more, you bud
what Mexican is as there he is, Okay. Steve de
Sager is at the anchor desk. He'll keep us updated
throughout the program. And Saga is in. I won't gonna say,
but he finally earned his money.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
That's right on social media.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Fixing the thing here so we can see ourselves on YouTube.
Oh it's all done pretty much. It only took you
six days, but.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I got it. You see the way he treats you, Saga.
Next time we go to a real fancy restaurant on
Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You know why you all my people, you Saga, Eliza, Robbie,
Alex and my people.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
But you want in this story because we all kept
it real.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
When now we were at Emeralds and they were like, yeah,
so it'll be about five hundred dollars per person to
enjoy this wonderful day.

Speaker 7 (04:55):
We looked.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
We all looked at each other and said, yeah, get
somebody else to do it.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
And you know what, Alex, there was a brother at
the at the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
He's like, hey, he said, it's better food over there, anyway,
go over.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
There and eat on the shot. All right?

Speaker 5 (05:08):
He did.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
He was, Man, it's better food over there.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
And perfect ended up being a perfect night, great food,
good conversation.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Other people's buns were eating. It was a great time.
Oh man, okay, hey, can you bring his buns to me?
There you go.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I was talking about Rod when I said that, all right,
Rob g Let's kick off this farm radio program with
none other than the gift that keeps giving his name,
Draymond Green.

Speaker 8 (05:35):
Draymond Green, I have to get part time salary here
if I know he gives so much content, so much
content is ridiculous, So it would be something if he
could was a great player too. Earlier today, it was
announced by the league and reported by ESPN Sports just
ready to pick your favorite thing, same thing that Draymond
Green was issued a warning not fine this time or

(06:00):
a viral interaction he had with the fan on Sunday night.
I know you probably miss because a lot of NFL
action went on Sunday, but during their game on Sunday,
Draymond Green got into it with a fan who was courtside,
and afterwards told the media that the reason why he
got into it was the guy made a good joke
at first, but you can't keep calling me a woman.

(06:22):
I got four kids, one on the way, you can't
keep calling me a woman. Well, we found out after
the fact because the fan told us I'm.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
A woman that the Empeatis had no issue.

Speaker 8 (06:33):
The impetus behind the whole back and forth was not
that he was calling him a woman or calling him
a B word or anything like that. No, he was
calling him Angel Reese over and over exactly because Draymond
Green had a portion during the game where he got
multiple offensive rebounds and smoked multiple layups a la Angel Reese,
and that was the Empeatis on the whole thing again.

(06:54):
No fine, but a stern talking to for Draymond Green.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
You know what, they probably should have find them, but
I but I get it. I'll say this, Draymond Green
is the biggest hypocrite in the National Basketball Association. He's
the biggest baby. He's the one who goes after people
all the time. He's the one always bumping his gums

(07:19):
and you know, and all this stuff. And he's a
big baby that somebody who paid their money, who's sitting
in great seats right where he can hear him from.
He not in the rafters, he's all the way down front,
calls him Angel Reads and he gets his panties in
a bunch. Really, oh, that guy's out of bounds. He

(07:42):
should have said, hey, Draymond, you know you make me
sick because you have a beautiful wife, you make multimillions
of dollars, and you have four kids with one on
the way, But you make me sick. Is that the
heckling that he wanted? Does he understand how heckling works?
I mean, this wasn't disrespectful, This wasn't racist.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
There's nothing wrong with that. It's it's a propos. I'm
about to like, dude.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
I mean, because we know Angel rees with the me bounds,
you know, like she take nine shots and get eight
rebounds off of it, the me bounds.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I get it. It was actually clever. What's the first
word clever? You're gonna take too open, you guys.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
Clever.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
You know it's not I said, that was actually clever. Yeah,
haven't running back ready. I always gotta wait a minute.
I gotta put the glass on and go let me see. Okay,
now you can see. Okay there clever, that was clever.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
You know what the fan did, Rob he kept it
basketball literally, he called him a basketball player. Now does
is she a woman yet? But he caught him a
hooper who does similar things? And what if people said
about Angel Reese's game, Wow, she kind of plays like
a female Draymond, right, great defense, talks a little smack, tough,
can't make a layer, you know, rebound me.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Bounds as well.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
So that was a clever heckling that was actually basketball
as well. And to me and Bye by doing it,
he actually insinuates to me and and kind of insults
Angerye as if that was like so insulting to call
me Angel ree another hooper?

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Like what it better?

Speaker 1 (09:16):
He mentioned, Oh why he couldn't call me Lisa Leslie
like so to me and even being a hypocritical about this,
a hypocrite, you didn't insult in Ajurie.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Let's continue some things. What didn't you and I.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Talk about Draymond a few weeks ago because he called
a professional football player who has been an MVP.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Candidate a bum. He called Dak.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Mouth and now somebody calls him hooper exactly and what
it happened in that game, it's a propos.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
I literally wrote. He kept it basketball and it was
at propos. You missed a bunch of layups like she
has done at times. And to score a layup, missed
a bunch, got a bunch of rebounds, puts it in.
You literally did that. Angerisee has done that. She can
not again you to mention again, this is a basketball player.
He didn't call you a name, he didn't call you
a a something else. He didn't call you a B word.

(10:07):
Oh did I mentioned? You've called people your teammates to
B word. So I just thought from a guy who
has stumped people, kick people in the Kiwi's punch, people
call people names.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Always in trouble.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
So just called a pro athlete who he knows what
it's like to be a pro athlete.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
You know what it's like a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
You know what it's like to have the spotlight on you,
and you called Dak Prescott a bum. This is crazy
to me that this is what got his panties in
a bunch, But then I probably shouldn't say panties because
then now I'm calling number one by saying that, I'm
you know, it's just a big man, that's true, But
I'm just blown away by that. Like Dreymond, you've been
in so many competitive games. You're from where you're from,

(10:44):
from Saginaw, You're from Michigan. You know how tough Saganaw
is played in Michigan State, played in the league.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
That's what got you riled up. It's just so ridiculous.
This is who he is.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
He said he called you their dead family member or something,
and that, Okay, I get it, I get.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
It, Angel Reese when you literally did an injuries move.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
It's just but the whole idea, like like this is
what fans do. They heckle you. You know why they
heckle you because you matter. When you don't matter, Nobody
heckles a guy who doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
The disrespect right, it's a heckle you suck boo, you
missus sean air ball. That's heckling. That's a part of
the experience. And all they want to do is get
your attention, and you gave them your attention. Rather than
acting like you didn't hear it. It's so easy to ignore.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
That's what most professionals do. They just ignore it. Now,
if there's something racist or something really that cross, that's
something different. This was basketball, this was the sports experience,
and for him to get all worked up makes no
sense to me.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Put the camera on me hitting dogs, holler, and he
he was embarrassed that he did exactly what the person
was calling him out about. Angel rees from time to
time has been known to miss bunch of layups, get
the rebound missing and put it back in. He did
exactly that. So that's why it's stung rob because that's
exactly what he was. He was pre performed like an

(12:15):
aightla ree sequence and he was upset about that. But
how can you get mad when somebody calls you a
professional basketball player? Right?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Make it make sense? None of it makes sense, all right?

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox is all telephone
number eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
And you know the apology is coming, right, yeah, because
that's what it mean thing by it, because not as
if Angel Reeves is a bad player, he leads the
league in apologies.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
It's coming. My bad. I didn't really see it like that.
I was just saying that I was a female. You
don't it's coming?

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Is Draymond Green being hypocritical when he complains about a
fan calling him Angel Reeves eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox. We'll continue that conversation next with you on
a trash Talking Tuesday, Rob Parker, Kelvin Washington right here
on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
And you know what you need to do? What Rob
stick and stay? Let's you're worried about getting kicked in
the nuts in the us of a Oh my, he
did do that.

Speaker 7 (13:12):

be good at it because you've been over promising women
for years.

We appreciate it. I would take.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Calls Draymond Draymond again and said some stuff that we're like, whatever,
man heckling. A fan had a clever heckle. We thought
that's what it was, some goods tragedy. Draymond took offense
to it eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. The
fan was perfectly within his rights, or took it too far?

Speaker 3 (15:18):
What do you say?

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Yeah, you got George in Los Angeles.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
You're on the odd Couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's
up George?

Speaker 5 (15:26):
No, what's what's up?

Speaker 11 (15:27):
Guys?

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Are you?

Speaker 11 (15:30):
I think that Draymond is well and it's in his
right to get mad at this. Nobody likes to be
called a woman.

Speaker 12 (15:35):
He didn't say that, you know, he that they he
called him Jameel Reese. But you wouldn't like it if
if they called you Hannah Storm.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
I was no disagree George, George, what like, George, I'm
a woman.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
It's a heckling at a game.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, Like he's called him a basketball player.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
It was because Angel rees miss missus Bunny's and then
gets to rebound.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
That said, come on, George, you're overthinking.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Come on, George, that sometimes you got to applaud a fan.
You know what time we hear pro athletes. You've been
covering this league for year, where they go, I ain't
gonna lie. It's one fan said blah blah blah blah blah.
Come on now, George, George, you sound like boy George
on this one.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
I'm sorry ninety nine on Fie.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Wow, he about to call back. See why you do that?
Now George is about to call back.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Roscoe in Seattle. You're on the eye couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up? Roscoe?

Speaker 12 (16:28):
Hey, y'all listening?

Speaker 11 (16:29):
God, Definitely the fan was in his rights. Draymond is
turning into the Rob Parker of the NBA so much.
He's like fin skin, and you know he needs he's
a professional. He needs to take it. So Rob Calvin
much love, to y'all. But yeah, he's he's not a lot.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
How you gonna say, I'm thin skinned and I've been
in this business forty years?

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Are you kidding me? He said? Even listening and reading,
you're writing for forty years.

Speaker 11 (16:57):
Hey, hey, it's trash talk to day man, that's the
whole point.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
I'm the cool pool king.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
That's right. We wouldn't be doing a trash talking Tuesday.
All right, thank you? Anyway, I thought we were n
ot not supposed to talk. That's next, Nikki in Virginia,
you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
What's up, Nikki?

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (17:20):
Hey guys, First off, love the shows?

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Yeah he Nikki, what part of Virginia? Just curious the
south south side of.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Virginia, like near Lynchburg, Virginia.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Okay, okay, cool? Cool?

Speaker 5 (17:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:35):
So two things?

Speaker 9 (17:36):
Uh a Rob, when you said Dreamland leads the league
and apologies, I rolled.

Speaker 12 (17:41):
Left and that was hilarious.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
He does. He's always apologized at something. Somebody else might
be up there too.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
But then you know, then be you know, as a player,
I respect drayond Man's got ability, but at this.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Point we kind of know who the guy is, you know, Yeah,
I mean, we we did, we get it.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
But the idea, like of all the people to criticize
this hackler who's spot on, you're missing, you're missing point
blank layups and getting the rebounds back.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
That's exactly what Angel.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
We've done, who's also a professional basketball player. I don't
get the insult part of that. I understand she's a woman,
but she's a hooper. You're a hooper, like want some
you know something. I was crazy that he could take offense,
to my opinion, absolutely Uh who is that?

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Jerome and Charleston, you're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio?

Speaker 3 (18:30):
What's up Roamy?

Speaker 7 (18:31):
Hey, no one has written someone else's coat tails than
dmon Green.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
Okay, wait a minute, I got one other person, Chris Bussard,
but that's another story.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Go ahead.

Speaker 7 (18:43):
That Prescott a bum.

Speaker 11 (18:46):
That Presscott is the best quarterback the Cowboys has ever had.

Speaker 7 (18:50):
Look up the numbers.

Speaker 11 (18:51):
Okay, he's not a bum, farmacarma bum. And now he's
a penis. Oh yeah, that's rich, that's really rich.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
It is so we'd so much so just got another
pro athlete a bum. I bet you Chris happened to
be listening just right there.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
Just.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
The only reason you made is because of me. I'm
the reason for your career.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
You wouldn't be on that little TV thing without your
exactly Nick.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
In New York you're on the odd couple Fox Sports Radio.
What's up?

Speaker 5 (19:23):
Nick?

Speaker 3 (19:26):
You got to make sure you hit that Nick? Yeah,
can you hear me? What do you mean?

Speaker 6 (19:32):
Nick?

Speaker 3 (19:33):
What else.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
You hear? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (19:36):
We hear you, Nick.

Speaker 11 (19:38):
Part of the show.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Always, Nick, Come on, man, this is your show. You
know that.

Speaker 12 (19:44):
I know that you know what.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
You might listen to other shows you can't get in
and never want to hear from you.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
That's not the outcome.

Speaker 12 (19:50):
My favorite show because you include us. I think that's
a big part of radio.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
No doubt. Man.

Speaker 13 (19:55):
We appreciate your brother what you got for with Draymond,
Like the has to be so mad that he is talking,
Like when that all happened and they came over there,
you would think that the guy said something so racist
or about his right.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
That's what I said then and.

Speaker 12 (20:11):
Then you find out that he got called Angel Reeth
like that is, and then he made a big point
about it, like that's so disrespectful towards Angel Rees that
you made it this big that the NBA is supplementing
their payment. You were not helping anyone. That's that's my
thought on that. And Draymond, you know, he's a big problem.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
All this stuff is talking.

Speaker 12 (20:33):
It's not physical play.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
It's talking.

Speaker 12 (20:36):
He did stop kicking and punching and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
You know what, I'm not, thank you.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
I'm not going for Draymond for time, waiting for Steph
to retire, so then Draymond will be irrelevant. That's what
That's what I'm waiting for cold Steph retire so Draymond
becomes irrelevant.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
To your point, what I'm waiting for.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
To your point, Steph has had two almost fifty point
games whatever.

Speaker 13 (21:00):
He's like.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
What we're talking about with Draymond in the last three, four,
five weeks is always the topic of conversation. It's like,
this is what and this is why the Kaiser permanents
didn't do nothing. We don't even know. Step been going
crazy lately. Forty points, forty point fifty points. And that's
why the shoes we talked about the shoes. You'll never
hear nothing from him, no nothing, You'll never hear from
run from him. Man to see the sign ninety sevens.
That's that's why they ain't doing no numbers. All right

(21:21):
on the way, Efram Salam will talk to menfour headlines
with him, maybe even talk see what his thoughts on
the Draymond.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Right now, he is Steve the Sager. He's hey, Steve, Dave, Hey, Steve.

Speaker 7 (21:29):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple

four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Steve, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I Couple, Rob Parker, Kelvin Washington, trash talking Tuesday. Getting
to that next hour. We got Czecho City Player the
day on the way. But right now we're joined by uh,
you know who it is. You know who it is,
Efram Salam, former NFL offensive line in Fox Sports Radio
weekends eight from Salam on XE.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
Whatever, brouh, what's happening man? How y'all doing doing good?

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Man?

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Real quick?

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Did Draymond Green? You you you know you know you
covered the NBA? You love hoops? You you heard what
he did? The fan called him angel reache. We we
both agreed was clever. We thought that was not considering.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
That he missed like four layups. And grabbed the rebounds,
just like Angel.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Ree and she's a pro hooper. Like, why was that
so insulting? Almost insulting? The Angel rees that that he
considered it blasphemous your what's your thoughts? And also just
about heckling in general. You coming, you played the game.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
Heckling is part of professional sports, so you know it
comes with the territory. I wouldn't go all crazy and all.
I thought it was funny. I mean, calling him Angel
Reaves like that. I thought it was hilarious. I mean,
that's pretty that's a pretty good heckle.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
That's a week and not let's not forget it was
just two weeks or ten days ago that Draymond call uh,
Dak Press got a bum, you know what I mean,
like like like seriously from you can't be you're calling
Dak Russ got a bum on your podcast and now
you've got a problem that somebody called you Angel weech
because you missed a couple of.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
Less and so it is less of and so it's clever,
and you know sometimes those clever ones they cut a
little bit deeferent.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
That's what I said. He dogs holler, unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
All right, enough I've seen enough of Pete Carroll and
what's going on business. Pete Carroll enough already rice pudding
and you know it's so bad now he from that
teams are kneeling down at halftime.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Against the Raiders.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
I mean like it's just like, like, is that is
that disrespectful?

Speaker 3 (23:36):
That being sympathetic?

Speaker 4 (23:38):
Like if I'm Pete Carroll, I'm like, I'm offended that
you kneel down. This is two of the last three games,
robed g that they've kneeled down, right with two minutes
to go, he from They're not even waiting until ten
is on the last right now, It's.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
It's disrespectful that Pete Carroll consistently puts that product out
there on the shiel. You got you got to you know,
Pete came back to coaching. He's the oldest coach. Uh,
you can't him? You pack him gino? Uh did Tom
Brady pack them all up and get him on the
bottom of there? Man? Because it's but I had high hopes.

(24:15):
I think a lot of us uh in the business
had a high high hopes or with the geno we
thought was gonna be there, the energy Pete Carroll was
gonna bring and it just fell flat. I feel sorry
for Max Crosby. I mean, he is a game wrecker,
he is everything, and he's stuck in the situation similar

(24:36):
to what Miles Garrett is. You know, some ye two
are the top defensive ends and on the planet Earth
have no chance of winning no matter what type of
games they have, And that's sad for those guys.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Well, Miles Garrett chosen me. He remember, I'm around for like,
I'm a win and I want to go to winning situation.

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Yeah, how much.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Around?

Speaker 5 (24:56):
Gave me fifty five million dollars a year. I'll stay
where you me to say, too.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
So, well, then you've got to sit on that bench
with five sacks and one game wins exactly. Hey, let's
go back to some of the games we saw over
the weekend. I want to go back to just get
your thoughts on the Rams and also the Seahawks. Where
are the Rams right now? Are they kind of leading
the Super Bowl contender? Specifically in the NFC player right
In that game they did not. The offense was not

(25:22):
great and productive. But be the good team.

Speaker 5 (25:26):
The thing that you have to be aware of is
that you have to be cautious of the good teams
that lose ugly games. I mean that, excuse me that
win ugly games. Like when you have a team that's
constructed like the Rams and they're able to win ugly,
that's not a negative. That's a positive because they have

(25:49):
the firepower and the defense to blow teams out. When
they come upon a team that for whatever reason has
their number, they struggle and they end up winning those games.
That's the mark of a great team. So don't let
those types of games be detractions from the caliber team.
The Rams are any other team like that, because you

(26:12):
look at the Seattle aspect of four interceptions, they still
had an opportunity to win that game. Both of those
teams are dangerous, but right now for me, in the NFC,
the Rams are at the top and the creme of
the crop, up there with the Eagles. The Eagles win
ugly too.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Yeah, but they have a defense that can win you
a Super Bowl. To Eagles, they they really do. I
do want to ask. It's unbelievable because you think about it.
Against the Lions, they only had six points going in.
Serrianni gave them the three point field goal right from
going forward on fourth down on your own thirty you

(26:49):
gotta stop.

Speaker 5 (26:50):
Gotta stop, I mean cut like.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Like what football is that?

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Like?

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Seriously, I don't even understand it from the standpoint that
your de thus.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Was playing great.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
Kick the ball, let them have it, and if they
score twice in three minutes, then you don't deserve.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
To win, you know what I mean? How did you
do that to your defense?

Speaker 5 (27:09):
What Dan Campbell hasn't learned then two years ago is
the more you leave points on the field, the least
likely is going to be successful. You gotta remember remember
that sentference, we want an opportunity to go to the
super Bowl, and they kept going for it and not
taking the field goals. They lose by three in the

(27:31):
NFC Championship game, and then they just double down on
it the year after that last year, and they're doubling
down this year. You can't go zero for five on
fourth downs and lead points on the board in at one.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Score game and a tough game too, Like you knew
it was gonna be a tough time.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Hide the score game. You gotta get points, no doubt,
gotta get points.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
Look what it does is it demoralizes those guys on
the offensive line who drive down the field, put you
in position to get points and you getting and on
the flip side of that, it puts your defense in
a tough spot to where they're constantly defending the short field.
It's not fair to either side of the ball. But

(28:11):
you continue to do.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
It, no doubt.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Let's go to Shador Sanders day butt. I'll call it
a day butt rather than the debut. Ugly didn't play well.
And I know everybody has excuses and they did set
him up to fail. They don't want him to play.
He was out there, he had a chance actually eat
from the win the game. He could have right or
tired it up. He was there, he had he had

(28:35):
the real shot.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
To do it.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
Just your thoughts on it, because I just for and you.
You were in the NFL for thirteen years, fourteen years.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
You know the deal. People GM's coaches are fighting for
their jobs.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
Like this whole notion that the Browns with won nothing
can just have a talent and think, oh, yeah, well
we're not going to play him because we're doing and
for the greater good of the NFL or something is
mind boggling to me.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
But what did you think of Shador's debut?

Speaker 5 (29:07):
This is what I'll tell you about the NFL. As
a player, you can't control when you play, how long
you play. What you can't control is how you play.
And as a backup, you may not get a lot
of reps, you may not get any reps in practice.
But when an opportunity presents itself, that's when you have

(29:27):
to separate yourself. He had an opportunity to come in
the game and a one score game and win the
game or give it a team to win, and he didn't.
Those are the opportunities that you can't squander. You can't
hold onto the ball, you can't take sex, you can't
do things that hurt your team and their ability to win.

(29:49):
That's the problem I'm having. You can make all the
excuses in the world for Shador standards, then mentally, you
should be preparing as a starter during the week, whether
you get reps or not. You need to be in
the mediumroom, you need to be in the film room,
you need to all of those things to prepare yourself
just in case something happens. You need to be able

(30:10):
to step onto that field and really show up and
show out. That changes the narrative, That changes how you're
positioned on the team and the fact that he wasn't
able to do it, and all everybody had was excuses
for him. This is professional sports. This is this is
whether the coach wants you to play or not. When
he put you in the game, prove to him why you.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Should say if you ball out, ain't Nobody could say anything.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
And I'm not saying he's going to be perfect.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
Different conversations. If he leads him down, they win that game.
We're having a whole He had an opportunity to do it,
he wasn't prepared to do it, and it showed on
the fields.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Yeah, man, one more real quickly from you got about
a minute, Jail, I want to go to this the
Chiefs five and five, the Ravens five and five, and from.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
I had him before the season not making the playoffs
and just put it out there.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
We both ended up picking the Ravens go to Super Bowl?
Which one do you feel more confidently this last stretch
of the season, and then hopefully for one or two
or maybe both whatever going to the postseason, the Ravens
or the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Ye, it's the Ravens. You look at the schedule, it's
the Ravens. The way the Cowboys are playing I think
the Chiefs played them in two weeks. They may lose
that game. They got to play the Chargers. Their schedule
is not conducive to them at five and five making
the playoffs. But Baltimore has a schedule and a Lamar
Jackson that can easily rattle off three more wins. So

(31:34):
for me, my money would be on on Baltimore and
not Kansas City making the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
All right, there you have it. I man appreciate you.
Way to do it.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
Next week, appreciate you guys, no doubt, no.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Doubt you too. Shecheckl City on the way. Player of
the day as well. Plus the team we got the
one of the big games and NBA tonight we'll talk
about two teams that are surgeon that maybe folks didn't
see it.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
It's The Odd Couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 7 (31:57):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Fox Sports Radio. I Couple, Rob Parker, Kelvin Washington. Why
are you playing?

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Boy?

Speaker 1 (32:15):
George's Oh it is a trash talking Tuesday shout out
to Ephra Salaam just joined us moments ago.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
I remember when.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Boy George was on the Tonight Show, okay, and Joan
Rivers was the host and for Johnny Carson and asked,
boy George, if you on a deserted island, who would
you want to be stuck with?

Speaker 3 (32:37):
A boy or girl?

Speaker 5 (32:38):
Rob Cushion.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
And you know what he said. He said both, That's
what he said. But I'll go to answer for boy George.
For boy George, it was. It was for boy George.
I mean, I know you buy lingual honest thing. You
see that, Paul, is that pregnant?

Speaker 5 (32:55):
Paul?

Speaker 3 (32:55):
I said, you buy linguals. You know what I mean?
Make sure because you know we talked about that at
the time.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Okay, yeah, all right, but my other language is Yiddish.
That's the only problem. We do know that.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
We do know that as well as time now for
Shecho City.

Speaker 7 (33:10):
Welcome to Shekel City, the whole base for Rob Parker's
Dalley Dicks against the Scrap.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
How'd you do? All right? I was two and one. Yay, yes,
thank you.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
That takes me up to seventy seven and sixty nine.
I'm getting a little space here now, which I'm very
very happy about all Right, here we go for tonight
three game. I got the Nets is my best bet.
The Nets plus eleven and a half. They're bums taking
on the Celtic. Celtics just five hundred eleven and a
half with a lot of points. The Nets actually played

(33:52):
some close games and they got me one the other night.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
All right, all right, not bon it. It was about
fifteen yeah, man, it just eleven and a half. I'm
taking plus eleven and a half.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
I'm also gonna take Memphis plus six and a half.
They were in San Antonio taking on the Wimby List
Wimby Liss Spurs. So I'm gonna take the six and
a half, Memphis four and ten bade the Spurs.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Somebody have joy.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
And then last but not least, Lebron's day, but for
the twenty twenty five ya, twenty twenty sixth.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Season, which means you're taking the other team.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
So I'm taking, Yes, Utah, I'm taking Utah. I look
at rob gz o man predictive plus thirteen and a half.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
I'm alright from the football player.

Speaker 4 (34:34):
No, you know why, because Lebron's gonna mess up the
chemistry night watch me watch, They'll beat Utah, but not
by thirteen and a half.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Thirteen and a half is crazy.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
Thirteen and a half in La. So again, I got
the Lakers. I mean Utah plus thirteen and a half,
Memphis plus six and a half, and the Brooklyn Nets.
No sleep till Brooklyn plus eleven and a half. And remember, Kevin,
I'm not telling you who to bet on. I'm telling
you who why I got on.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
All right, it is now time for your tire Reck
Player of the day.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
Prescott is under center, stamps his left foot, receiver in
motion to the left.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Prescott play action left side of the end zone, right
out the money to Ryan Flannoy. Touchdown Cowboys Man.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
That is, of course Cowboy Radio right there bringing you
the player of the day, which is brought to you

(35:39):
We got the one of the big games tonight you
got the surging five games in a row for the
Atlanta Hawks with Dave looked, they've looked good. Trey Young's
been out a lot. And then also the Pistons who
won ten in a row. And uh, howj your boy,
you know, Joe Dumars Jaman is he watching this at all?

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Has he moved on? Is he just think about the
p twenty years later? I mean you know, I mean,
is he keeping up his old squad?

Speaker 4 (36:00):
It on, dude, Joe D that that that franchise has
three championship and Joe d touched all three.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Yeah, he played the finals MVP too. Yeah he's good. No,
he's good. Man.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
This Pisson is speaking of good. This Piston team ten
in a row, and if you've watched, they've had to
do it without during that times Jalen during their big
center who's been balling out of control, without kid who
has been playing fantastic ball.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
They've got this.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
I haven't looked at the schedule, but a lot of
them a cup. That's what he's supposed to do. You
can't just celebrate, No, I'm just saying ten in a row.
Can you look at the schedule? Washington, the Nets I'm
just saying like this. They've been demolishing people too. By
the way, it's not like they're just like squeaking out.
Oh no, this the NBA, there's a lot of bad teams.

(36:43):
Go ahead, we have some of the wins all some
of these Gamesyeah, he don't want to do it now.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
They beat the I guess work backwards Nets. Maybe the
Magic who are good.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
Yeah no, no, no, no, no, they're not as a
solid team.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
They're underachieving, underachieving.

Speaker 8 (37:02):
They're not good. Well, I mean everybody in the East
is underachieving except for Detroit. Okay, the Maps are terrible,
the Grizziest terrible.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
I'm not giving you to make the watch out for
you too.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
For the MAVs. Rob's favorite team, the Utah Jazz. Terrible. Guys.
Just picked them and cover the spread. But they're terrible. Yeah,
but they could lose. But the Nets are bearable. The
Sixers have been an upstart team. They have. Actually, I
like the Sixers are okay, The Wizards are terrible.

Speaker 8 (37:31):
The Bulls started off good, they did the Sixers again,
and the Pacers are terrible.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
That's all that. And it's no knocked you should be
Windows games knock at the door.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
All I'm doing is I always have to give context everything.
That's what makes me a world renowned writer and journalist.
You know what it's called context. It's not about being
a hater. I'm not a hater. I'm a journalist. Context matter.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
The best part about context when it comes to this
is if it's his team, it's.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
You can only beat who's in front of you.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
If it's the team you don't like, they've only be
bod not like about the Pistons.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
I don't asking, you know, it's it's sitting next to
us Detroit.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
No, I'll really ask and every even let me get it.
That's out right.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
No, you said you're just in Detroit.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
You come here the Tiger.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
Eyoy is good right now, you're going to the super
Don't get mad Detroit.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
One thing you want to dominator? They going to the
NBA finals?

Speaker 11 (38:35):
Now?

Speaker 3 (38:36):
Is that? What they're going now is go for the
NBA the NBA finals. This is okay, this website, who's
going to final?

Speaker 7 (38:41):
Terrible?

Speaker 3 (38:42):

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
