Let's give this.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Our number two on a worship Wednesday. Here on the
Odd Couple Fox Sports Radio. We're broadcasting live from the
tier rag dot com studios tire rach dot com. We'll
help you get there. An unmatch selection, fast free shipping,
free roadhas a protection and over ten thousand recommended in stall.

(00:54):
That's right, tyre rag dot com. The way tire buying
should be. Later on in this hour, one's gotta go.
Kelvin will let us know it is Rob Parker and
Kelvin Washington like this one. We will get into that. Yeah,
we'll do that. So much to do. Let's get you
caught up. Mets lead four to one over the Phillies.

(01:17):
The Tigers have already won, uh already won today. So
they were up three to one. I should say two
to one, and and they can win on. Uh, is
it tomorrow, yeah, Thursday, It's tomorrow, tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Tomorrow, and the Yankees are no score. Aaron Judge teazhim
though it.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Looked like he hit it and got out to about
the warning track.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
But but but he's making content. He's not just striking out.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
You saw Mookie the night before, you know, two nights
ago gets robbed for the home run, and then the
next day it gets a home run. But it almost
look like he's gonna get robbed against the mating.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Maybe, just maybe Aaron is feeling it, finding his stride,
find his swing, and he'll just happy that he's making
that kind of content, you know what I mean. Just
a matter of time. So four to one Mets, no scoring,
Yankees Royals and uh, because the Phillies can be eliminated
with this one.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
And Dodgers Padres up in about an hour exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
And the Dodgers can be eliminated if they don't win.
So a lot going on, all right. Speaking of the
Dodgers Padres, let's talk about the uh Fernando tattoos, Junior,
Your guy used to be guy or still guy? Where
were we with him? I was when he first came
into the League. I just thought he was as good

(02:36):
as it gets. I mean he was just he had energetic,
He had it, am I right.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
He had it without a doubt. And by it we're
talking about the talent, the look, style, the.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Thing like he had.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
He had everything and he was one of those players
that was.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
That you couldn't turn away from. Am I right, You
couldn't turn.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Away spot when somebody just got that, like like it's
it's like Anthony Edwards now in the NBA. You're all right,
he's got the he can play, he's got the vibe,
he's got the you know, he's good.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
He's just got that whole essence and tattoos had that.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
He even has a you know somebody who you know
roots for the Dodgers, like, oh dang, they got they
got one down there.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Right, and he's off to rob g what's the numbers?
He's off to historic a historic.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
Uh see, you can't watch TV while you guys are
doing the show here.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
I remember he even talking about me at least I
said something.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
You know, I know about that.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
It's like you're either played by playing as quiet watching it.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I don't do the play by play, so I'm not
no you.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Just go siling the radio and make everybody think they're
radio Dang, what's going on the static with it?

Speaker 5 (03:43):
What's wrong with my serious X be in a bad area.
But yes to your point about Fernando that you needed
you to get the numbers. So Rob Parker's favorite player
before Aaron because he's moved on, you know, like the tattoos.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Chris used to get on my case all the time
that I had a man crush on him because it
was all about that Teas.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I just like the way he played. You wanted to
grow dreads and bleach out. I will close. I mean,
I was like, you know, the blood.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Still got some hair at this a you you might
want to do that one time.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Jerry Rice did it? Should Jerry Rice?

Speaker 6 (04:15):
It? No?

Speaker 1 (04:15):
But Jerry Rice's brain started here on his five head.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
If that man looked four hair, you thought he was bald.
If he looked up just a little bit, you thought
he was bald for sure. So here's the stats that
you were talking about Ron this postseason. Tatteas is ten
for eighteen, four homers, seven RBI, two double three walks,
batting five point fifty six, has a one point three
to three slugging percentage and the ops.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
This is the big one.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
One point nine seven zero, the highest ever in a
single postseason by any player at least twenty plate appearances.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Here's the other thing.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
If you're just a Padres fan, you're like, hey, analytics
is not my thing.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Just give me the row numbers, all right.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
He's currently tied with Tony gwyn of the most hits
by any Padre in any five game span. You know
the postseason history, and.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
It looks like his season may be going on where
he'll add on to these numbers.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
And you know, Tony Gwynn is an all time great
Hall of Famer and the Padre legend.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Okay, so it tells you what he's in.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Anybody who knows anything about baseball, Tony Gwinn is that guy.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
And here's the thing I wanted to bring up.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
What changed for a lot of people with Fernando Tattoos
Junior was when he got busted for the peds and
he got suspended, and then it became he had this
stink on him. And you know this, people weren't talking
about him even when he came back or whatever. He's
playing like. He became obscure, right, it was about all

(05:48):
these other player Aaron Judge, Mookie Beds Right, everybody but him.
He didn't making the All Star. He just became Pasada
non gradophile. Now you're on this stage at the postseason,
it's almost impossible to ignore him.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
And now you know he's being tested. So he's clean, right, yeah?
And I think.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I think he has a chance to wipe away the
stink because it happens so early in his career. So
like if he plays right, ten, twelve, fourteen, more years,
puts up these great numbers and all that stuff and
never gets busted again, I think the new younger writers

(06:36):
or whatever will be able to overlook that, where maybe
the older writers would hold it against him.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
I really think he has a chance to cleanse his.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Career and be a superstar that people care about, like
again and can say he's clean now and look what
he's doing.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
He's raking multiple things. I want to add to that.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
So one of the things he's benefiting from is you
know how we have BC before, use one BS before
social media. He is benefiting from our ability or non
ability to retain things.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
We don't care. We're onto the next thing every other minute.
What's next? What's the new story? Is it didy is?
And this is it? Harvey weyse? Is it this tornado?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
This hot tool? Is it this?

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Where are we at? Our brains are scattered right now.
So nothing lasts, No, stink lasts too long. No, a
controversy lasts too long. So he's benefiting from that, and
that we don't have an ability to retain things anymore
because we're always on to the next. Also, I think
the good thing in his favor was that he wasn't
necessarily spectacular in moments yet and didn't have quite a

(07:41):
full on name when he got popped. One of the
challenges is Barry Bonds got popped.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
You know.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Look, if I want to say, like halfway through his
like the second act of his career, he was already
Barry Bonds. He was already doing a crazy numbers. We're
watching him every week. You must if you're walking by
a TV anyway, Stea, this.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Was a star. I mean, no, but you're good.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I mean, Barry Bonds is breaking records. We're stopping TV.
We're walking by TV. I don't care you where to stop?

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Sammy Sosi, Mark Burguire the summer of ninety eight tattas
don't have a summer of something.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
He might not know what, but I'm saying he but
he was a start and again and I'm argue that,
but he was a rising star.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
And I'm saying these guys were established, and they were
in an era where we didn't have social media, so
when you did something wrong, it was the biggest conversation.
It was the biggest thing. And he kind of benefits
from that. We're like, oh, what do they do now? Oh?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, whatever, what do you do steroid? Oh?

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Okay, So I think I'm thinking that's I'm saying it's
a good thing for him that he can now just
focus on baseball. And to your point, kind of how
I've mentioned with show, Hey he's shown up. All right,
you want to make a name for yourself again, do
something in the postseason. And he's done that, and he's
done that at a high rate, as we just discussed,
and he's doing against the Dodgers on a big stage.
So credit him for that, but he's just he's also
fortunate to do He did this ten fifteen years ago,

(08:55):
different news cycle. Our brains weren't focused on our phone
twenty four to seven, other different things fractions, it might
be a bigger conversation. It's something that he can't couldn't
escape as easily.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
That's my thing. Yeah, I see that, and I just
think he has the longevity. That's a great point.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
When he did it, it was very young, he had
been in the league, he had some success, and if
it would be one thing, if he never regained it,
then you could be like, okay, that he.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Was just a juice baby. It was a result of
the juicy exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
But now and they test, you know, you can say, well,
I think he's still on it. That's not fair because
they're testing everybody like now, they're testing testing place and
you know, people still get busted.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
So so it does mean that they're looking at people,
you know.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
And he's again, when you get the opportunity, do you
show up, do you shine?

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Do you make a name for yourself?

Speaker 4 (09:47):
He's doing that at a crazy rate, and he's also
adding some flair to it.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Still.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
You saw him a couple of games ago doing the hold,
sticking his tongue out at the crowd, getting into it.
So it's been fun. I mean, I'll just leave that
at home. She almost had me about to giving trouble and.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Even when he hit the home run the other night.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
I mean last night, I was like he stood there
and it was I mean it was a moonshot hold
on man that building.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, Robbie, I see it. Look in his eyes. It's
a bromance. No, I mean it is a bromance. It
might it. It almost surpasses Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Bro mance.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Please stop. I've ripped Aaron Rodgers on this radio show.
Rob g has been here. You never ripped Aaron Aaron Judge, No,
not you.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
So who's the guy in your in your life right now?
Is it Judge or is it tattys Junior? It's still
Judge there? MLB bro though you know MLB Bro.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
All right, I see you sticking with the gang. I
see what it is. MLB bro works and again, Bobby
Wood Jr. Man, that's how we talked about it. Reason
he had.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Robb twenty two no hits in this scene. Now he's
hit in just point oh two.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Crazy. It's it's all bad right now.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
But yeah, and that's the question we really want to
hear from you on Fernando Tattis Junr. Is this water
under the bridge to you when you see him play
now is the first thing that comes to your mind.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Is it about the Jews?

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Are you like, yeah, that's nice, but either the juicer
or can you forgive and forget and move on and
look at this guy's talent and see what he's doing
because he is on the grand stage.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
This is the Dodgers. He's doing this again, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
And it's heated, it's contentious, it's fans are going crazy,
everybody's throwing something, and he's showing up. The only point
I'll say, right before we get to more of these
calls on the other side. You know, it reminds me
we were having this conversation about the Red the Astros,
and I told you it's not that people absolutely forget.
I just think we're in the air where nothing stings

(11:48):
or lasts as long as it used to, you know
what I mean. I just feel like back in the day,
it used to like things were like I don't even
know if an OJ case would be the OJ case
now because we're just so distracted. I don't know a
hundred million people would just like stop and watch the
old j you know, hundreds of millions people just they
consumed us. I don't think it'd be like that anymore.
I just rains, we're so distracted right now, only because

(12:11):
people lost their lives. I think that's you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I could be wrong, but I just don't. I don't
think anything. Can I know what you're long?

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Like longer than a week or two? Oh wow, that's
the biggest thing. They were on to the next because
there's some new cat video. There's some new crazy thing.
Kim k Is feel like nobody's talking about enough, so
she'll drop some video. Let me drop something. Remind him
I'm here. There's always something that happens that distracts us
and changes the conversation. However, you're hear what we're talking about.
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox, We want to hear from you.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
That's right, Fernando Tattist Junior All you're back in love
with him.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
I know you are. I mean what, I don't mind it.
I got I got my players too. I'm not mad
at it. I like him as a player. I do
love a guy who has energy, and you know he
he hes Alex is cutting in. You know I love
a guy who has energy. What did I just say? Alex,
don't cut that, Okay, It is the.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Other woman eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox during
during I need the context on that woman thing.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
I need the context on that.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Sixty three sixty nine. I was referencing somebody saying that they.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Were a woman. That's what it was, Alight, real simple,
all right.

Speaker 2 (13:17):

have the time run coming up to the plate. So
there you go eight seven to seven ninety nine on Fox.
But talking about Fernando Tattoos Junior, what a postseason he's having.
Have you forgotten about the Peds the suspension? Have you

(14:49):
moved on? Let's start with Andre in Massachusetts. You're on
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
What's up, dra?

Speaker 7 (14:56):
Yeah, Hey, Bill, thanks for taking the call with tattiss
I'm of the opinion of the mind to give him
a second opportunity. Uh, he's balling out right there now?
Or does he have three homers? Multiple RBIs He's given
me the Dodgers fits. I just think Baseball has to
back up their tough talk and have consistent testing. If
he tests positive again, I'm completely you know, then then

(15:19):
he can.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Just go No, I'm with you. I agree with that, Troy,
You're right about that.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
If thanks for the call, right, if it's if he
tests positive again, then people will be done. But he
does have a chance because he has a long career.
Rob g how old Fernando Tatto.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
I'm a guest. I'm gonna say twenty four. He might
even be He might be right. He's really young.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
If you remember twenty five with we split the difference,
but twenty five years always been around for a while.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Yes, And he's got and he's got an at minimum
another decade, you know what I mean, he's gonna be
able to play. He's too good of a player obviously.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Bonnie five, thirty seven, thirty eight.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Without a doubt. He's skilled, he's talented, he's smart. Uh yeah,
he he's he is in line to have a Hall
of Fame like career.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
He's just got it again.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
To Andre's point, you can't mess up again, mess this
thing up again for him if he wants to have.
You know this, this resurgence of a career where we
completely forget about it.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
But you know what it is.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
It's all over the Mets, the Phillies four to one
on Lindor's Grand Slam home run, and they're going to
the NLCS and they will take on either the Padres
or they were.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
It was a rough season and at one point during
the season, Hey, uh, somebody check on Rich make sure
if he was still driving home, make sure he didn't,
you know, make sure he got home safely, go to
another car.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Let's do it, Jay and Georgia. You're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 8 (16:41):
What's up, Jake, you're going on guy first of all,
with the people on the floor to deal with the
hurricane out for them.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
No doubt? Are you Ja?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Are you on the speaker? Can you take it off
the speaker? We're getting to echo. Uh yeah, you're glad?

Speaker 8 (17:03):
Ye Okay, Yeah, So Rob, I'm with you. Bernando Tattoos.
First of all, I'm a Braids saying as everybody knows.
So you know, Runner Cooley Jr. Is my guy, But
I can't deny the r R the energy. You know
that that San Diego crime they feed off of. Tattoos man,
he's a boller. I think people shaid, I ain't gonna
say forget about the pd s and now and stuff.

(17:24):
But it's easy to forget though, because he's a great player.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
I mean, is there's something when you watch.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Him everybody doesn't have it. You know, that's the old saying.
Even in the show business. You know they got it,
they got.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
We know it from the jump with him too, that's
the thing. And you got a credit up because go ahead,
j can I say.

Speaker 8 (17:45):
One more thing? Just one more thing.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I make it quick.

Speaker 8 (17:48):
I don't want to rip parks in the Baseball Hall
of Fame. So I'm a braidsman. Andrew Jones my favorite player.
This guy has over four hundred home runs, twelve prid
rb ass, the most important team, gold gloves, and a
sliver silver slugger. Why is he not in the Hall

(18:08):
of Fame? He was?

Speaker 1 (18:11):
You know, he's in the Hall of very good.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
He just he I know a lot of braves people
are mad they want Andrew Jones and he hasn't been
voted in. And I think, uh, he hadn't won an MVP.
It's supposed to be a hard place to get in
a thanks for the car.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Giving me a look like he ain't never gonna get
your vote, by the way.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
No, he hasn't gotten my vote. And if you don't
get to vote my vote the first time, you never
get it. And if you get it the first time,
you get it the whole time. You're in the ballot once.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Nobody can't change your mind. You can't look at something else.
You can't think of a different perspective, because you know why,
because the numbers don't change. The numbers never change. But
what about perspective? Like I said, you didn't think about
a different point. I didn't think about a different somebody.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
The numbers never changed, So I can't if I did vote,
like people won't vote for somebody for nine years and
then instead last year on the ballot and then they
vote for them. I don't think that that's right. If
you know what, why didn't you vote for them the
for other nine years? I'm eighty five percent with you.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
I just think there is sometimes where someone will hit
you with a caveat you didn't think about, or a
narrative earth you didn't think about, or just in another way,
you're kind of like, oh, you know, that is a
good point. I didn't think about maybe something something about
his contemporary. Nine years, they've already looked up like this
is what I'm saying. That's a long time.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
It's not like you have one year on the ballot
and maybe you didn't see something. I try. Hey, Hey, Jay,
I tried, Jay. I tried for your boy. Yeah I tried. Uh.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Another coach is having some issues in the NFL. Will
tell you who. But right now.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Thank you, jeez. And it's crazy. Rob G was just talking.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
And now that the Phillies got knocked out, So no
bye week team has made ate it to the end,
to the championship series, right, and then we don't have
the teams that have the buy until they get to
the division series. So this the second year and all
the teams so far have not have failed like the
top teams have failed.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
See advanced because you take a week off.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
See the Tigers, stay hot, stay playing playoff baseball the
last month.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Paul is a rhythm game. We talked, I got no.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Time to sit at home, you know, get out of rhythm,
lose your mental state. I mean, we know that anytime
you have any conversation with any baseball player, you learn
how meticulous and I'm sure this is with all professional sports,
but baseball routine. I do this, I do that, I
step on here, I don't wear that. I only put
this here. I tie my cleat shit this I mean,
So you get out of rhythm for a week or so,

(20:45):
can throw the whole thing off. Coming to you live
from the Tireck dot com studios. It is the hotco
of Rob Parker covin Washington. You know, there's like another
Robert Slid situation. I kind of feel brewing in the
Nick Sirianni case, of course, head coach for the Ladelphia Eagles.
Remember he went to the Super Bowl, he went to
last season with the season before, and man hasn't been

(21:06):
downhill ever since. I mean, we know how many times
the teams that lose in the Super Bowl ended up
not making the postseason the next year or looking bad
the next year. But man, they had looked awful, and
they look awful when on paper you're like, man, this
team should be good. They still got their guys, they
still got Jalen Hurts, who's only should be a sandy.
Jalen Hurtz was like, he's taking a step back.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Yeah, he he is, and it's like, what the heck
is going on there?

Speaker 4 (21:29):
So he was asked about somebody as a working relationship
with and Robert Sala. They said, hey, seeing what happened
to him, are there any concerns for you, h Do
we have the sound on that rob Jeet? No, So
I'll tell you what he said. He basically said that no,
I obviously wish him nothing but the best. I had
a good working relationship with coach Sala, being able to
practice against those guys. I've got a lot of respect

(21:49):
for him. I think he's really good football coach. But
my mind is said on only how we get better.
Then later on talks about anything out of his control.
You know, it only consumes your mind and that's not
what the what we're focused on right now with the
larger thing was during their bye week, he and Jalen
Hurts had a chance to say, hey, they sat down,
they've worked some things out. Because they've had a strenuous
relationship now for some time. Jalen Hurts has been vocal

(22:12):
about the offense, been vocal about things aren't the way
they should be. There's been all types of reports that,
you know, Jalen Hurts had one of his guys calling
the plays and they're just they're they're kind of trying
to keep Sirianni out of it. Now, we alreays know
they have Kellen Moore calling plays and they're keeping Sirianna
out of it, who is off an offensive minded coach.
So there's a riff there, and it to me, it's

(22:32):
starting to look and smell a little bit like what's
happened with another green team in the Jets. What's happening
now in Philadelphia where again, like Jay Z once said,
it was all good just a week ago, you know,
and by a week ago, I'm talking about we were
in the Super Bowl. We lost, but I mean feeling good.
Will come back.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
We got a young stud quarterback, teams ready and man,
there's no guarantees in this thing.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
We talk about it all the time people, My goodness.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
That's why people who are mad about the line is
last year, because it ain't automatic. When you get on
that doorstep and you had a chance to punch your ticket,
you think, well, we'll go back next year.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, really.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
I told a lot of people who were telling you know,
obviously they were just trying to be nice on the bank.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Oh you guys would be good man.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
You set up and I said, we are, but that
ain't a guarantee, and especially at that time right after
the game. Remember Ben Johnson of the coordinator was the
hottest everybody. I said, if we lose him, we saw
losing people. But thankfully they kept him deathly. Now the
three and one and they're looking like it'll be at
least a good season and should make the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
But you're absolutely right, but Nick, he's in trouble.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
I mean, it's just because you got to remember last
year they got off to that great start, right and
or something like that, and then and then it tanked,
the season tanked, and now they're struggling. Jalen Hurts is
not this guy. This guy had an MVP season for sure,
and you and now he's scuffling.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
And they've had they've missing receivers.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
You know, Davonte Smith got laid the other couple of
weeks ago, aj Brown out, so you know, to be fair,
he is missing two very very good receivers, but both
are back this week. Both are back this week, so
we'll see what they look like. And obviously they had
their Kumba yak come to Jesus talking and Sirianni, so
maybe they'll be able to write the ship. And you
look at the talent, you're like, man, they should be

(24:21):
able to write the ship, like what the heck? So
hopefully they they do. But it's starting to get that
feel of quarterback coach ain't vibing. And if anybody you
got a vibe with, especially in this day and age
as a head coach, and especially a young one who
doesn't have stake in things like you could be Mike
Tomlin and let's say justin Fields and your beefing, Well,
you're Mike Tomlin. The ownership loves you, city loves you.

(24:41):
You've been there twenty years. You're fine, Nick, Sirianni. You know,
Alex hit me with a Janet Jackson, what have you
done for me lately? I mean at a certain point, bruh.
I know you took us to a Super Bowl. We
went and had appearance a couple of years back. But
at the end of the day, like Janet Jackson said,
what have you done for me lately?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Starts to kick in.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
This is just the way it is now in the NFL,
like like there's no five year plan. People are going, oh,
you know, even like a Andy Reid, people forget this.
As much successory in Philadelphia, they moved on from him
because they couldn't win the big one and he went
to Kansas City. But at the time they went to

(25:24):
four NFC title games and they couldn't win.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
But this is saying, this is a real question. I'm
genuinely asking you.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
This isn't that like a you You've heard me say that,
you're gonna hear this as long as a tenure of
our show.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Just keep giving me a shot, you know what I mean?
And I know you would have won. He was there
for a long time though. I mean, I'm not mad
at that, but don't you don't you get it. I'm like, man,
at least.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
I'm getting shots because people would wonder if Patrick Mahomes
didn't show up, you know what I mean, would that.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Man Alex Smith looked like a real guy. Yeah, but
they didn't win. No, is what I'm saying, Like, go
go look at Andy Weeds.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
The first few years in Kansas City, they were losing games,
They were losing a home playoff game, And that's what
I'm trying to say.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
I get what you're saying, but I'm always like, man,
you let go of a guy, And I get it.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Look, we want to win the big one, but I'm like,
all right, you better have the right next guy.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
I'm big on that. I'm big on if I'm having
success and things are working. Yeah, we're not winning the
big one or not. I'm not letting you go just
to let you go. You got I sometimes feel like
teams just well, I'm gonna let you go just to
let you go. I'm like, if I have the what
we believe as an organization, the right successor, like, we're
letting you go because we're bringing in coach X, who

(26:37):
we believe will be that next level. Otherwise you just
start running your tread or the tires. Just all right,
next coach? Like what, that's what the Lions are doing?
Jim Callwell, I'm not saying he was the answer, but
he finally has some stability at least in the organization.
And I let them go for who Matt Patricia, That's
who we're letting them go for. I'm like, wait, what
the same guy who has laminated play calling sheets with

(26:57):
a pencil.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
What's you're right on?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
It's laminated Like I'm always dumbfounded when they're like, yeah,
you don't have some type of better success or playing.
That's why you get these organizations. Rob who just keep
running the tread Andy Weed's case, he was there for
a long time. He was went to fair he went
the four NFC Championship, and they went to the super
Bowl one time and they didn't get it.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
They didn't get it done. That's that's for sure. One's
gotta go. I'll give you a clue.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
That's why I said you'll like this, Rob Parker Vegas Edition.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
I'm always about vacant. We know you were just there
was two weeknds ago. The last weekend it was Detroit
two weekends ago. You sticking around town at all? No
Detroit last week two weeks ago. I'll be in Detroitgas
this week, and then you're going to Detroit.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
This week and Rob g you going no, you're just saying,
you know, Robbing be gone tomorrow to by the way.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Yeah, yeah, you don't stick around, dude.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
Man, that life without a wife and kids, Robgie, something
we don't know about, man. I'll tell you that One's

Speaker 4 (29:02):
All right, One's Gotta Go where we throw out some
options and some cool things and then you gotta decide. Ah,
one's gotta go, wish one, you're gonna kick out of here.
So this is a Vegas edition because Rob the Tropicano
and they exploded it today.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
I don't know if you got a chance to see
that imploded.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yes, I saw the video and that was actually, you know,
in Vegas's past weekend, and I was driving past it
and my friend Mark Wilson says, it's going down.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
He was telling me that it was all set to go.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Now I thought he was saying something was finna go
down in the hotel. That's what he was saying. Was
you being there that weekend?

Speaker 4 (29:33):
No, it didn't implode, and so it's one of the
staples of Vegas for quite some time. So an honor
of the Tropic Canda, we decided to do a Vegas
edition of One's Gotta Go. And here are the things
that one may have to go, robj you hit us.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
We got five of them here, only four on the sheet,
but there's five. Number one gambling, Okay, Rob just made
a lot of money gambling in Vegas this past weekend.
You did, so you ain't shared with me.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
That's one.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
Number two Vegas shows which if you want to go
see Usher. You want to go see it down. You
want to go see Wayne Newton, can't do it.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Number three Waynton still with us is face is frozen,
but he's there.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
They got to be. I don't want to.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Say that he's had a lot of facelifts, but when
he sits down, his mouth slam shot. Number That man
in a freezer every night and put them back out.
Number three nightclubs. You want to go see Steve Aoki,
Calvin Harrison, Akasan can't do it, can't do it, okay.
Number four pool parties.

Speaker 5 (30:29):
If you want to be like, hey, dub, take your
shirt off and give me to the summer.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
I'll be back.

Speaker 5 (30:33):
Let everybody see what you're working with. Nope, no, sirk.
I let go of that one and last, but not least,
the Rob Parker Special. If you want to get your
Floyd Mayweather on and you want to go check out treasures.
You want to go see the Spearman Rhino. All these
young women you gotta put through college.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
Nobody got to Vegas. I told Chris I was doing
the Lord's work in the Different West, right.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
I know he didn't like hearing that. Because I can
take things with a grain of salt. It ro I
know he was sick with it. He definitely went home
and did a couple of hell Mary's for you.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
So of those five Vegas staples, K dub one's gotta
go which way?

Speaker 8 (31:07):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (31:08):
You start with me? This is this is we all
sway to stay running round.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
I don't mind start okay, So let's walk through this
thing a little bit. So nightclubs, I get the it
sounds good right in Vegas. You got the new fly
outfit on. You want to hit up Dre's or what's
the other one? One Oak and all that stuff, and
I've been doing them all but you and I are
talking about this. Rob g for me, and I think,

(31:33):
at this place in my life, it sounds better than
it always ends up being like I'm always excited about it.
Rod knows we go every year to the NABJ Big
Journalist Conference and they had this huge party on Friday
nights and I'm I'm bah, I bought the whole outfit ready,
But then I'm like music on lie right, bumping you
all night. It's just eight becomes a lot. So that
is a lot for me, gambling. I'm not a huge gambler.
But I that's literally Vegas, so it has to stay Vegas.

(31:57):
Sinos gambling that has to stay. Vegas.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Shows have to stay because like the Usher residency, I
want to be able to do other things. I saw
James Brown perform in Vegas. It's starting with it eight again.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
No, but I'm just saying, but a legendary figure.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
That is a legendary shows there you get to go.
Everybody take that out. You can't see absolutely shows have
to stay. What am I missing?

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Oh? Poor party? Yeah, I poor part. That's a part
of life.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
There're feeling good, you don worked out the whole summer
to get your body right.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
Poor part.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
So it comes down to strip clubs for me, and
at this place in my life, that's just something that
ain't happening.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
So it's an easy answer for me.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Although I will tell you nightclubs as the years keep
going by, these nightclubs, I ain't got it in me.
So strip clubs for me, I'll just hear the story
from you as you go to the magic City of Vegas.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I think if I'm gonna pull something out of take
what I mean, I'm sorry, I'm going to take something out.
I mean if I'm going to eliminate something. This is
just going Yeah, I think I'm gonna eliminated.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Which one?

Speaker 6 (33:04):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (33:05):
The nightclub? I agree because.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
A lot of women, a lot of women, you know,
they want to get out at the pool. You know,
they're coming from all over get in the pool and
they want to have on.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
What they want to have on their wal that basically nothing.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
You mean, yes, so you want to cover up and
they did want to be able to see that. So Manti,
what what about you? I would take out the nightclub.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
That's tough.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
But I think it's just so sad that I'm I
also think it's a night club?

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Am I getting old? I just I'm like, I'd rather
go to the pool. I rather gamble. I'm down to
go to a show.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
I'm glad, butffets aren't on this list because that you know,
we're not getting Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
But so then you're going to the strip club club
strip club on night?

Speaker 8 (33:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (33:50):
You know, which are they becoming the same thing? I feel?

Speaker 6 (33:53):
Yeah, Like I feel like in Vegas, you know, that's
what you go to doue.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
No is it that like what you go to do?
It's one of the same.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
Son, So night clubs are getting beat down right about
now from well I had to Yeah, strip club, nightclub,
those are out rob guh for me.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
I'm definitely getting rid of the strip clubs. And I've
done all of them right.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
I've been to the A one and a half kids.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
They called it the largest strip club in America, and
I was there and it wasn't as much fun as
you would think it would be. But I've had a
great time at the club. I've gotten bottle service, been
at the pool parties. I've lost my ass gambling, the
thousands of domes and all these things I would much
rather can see myself doing. Even as I get older,
I'll be old at the club, me and kup together.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
But yeah, we'll beat. I'm gonna beat there with you.
I'll be mad at the end of the night.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Just go eat, We'll just we're just people.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Watch, everybody will be out.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
I'll have the three buttons down on my shirt looking
like Alex. Alex will have me in shape.

Speaker 6 (34:59):
I guess some of the ball out here. I get
rid of gambling, Okay, some reason why?

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Right?

Speaker 6 (35:04):
How many people leave Vegas in worship than they show
where would argue with good point, how many people lost houses, relationships, wives.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Can I offer that's a problem, Like I'll go if
I would if I were to blow three, four or
five hundred and be like, alright, all right, that was it.
I blew it and move all my life. Like you're
talking about a perfect person with problems.

Speaker 6 (35:22):
I'm telling you, I think gambling has ruined more relationships
than strip joints in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
You know what I do.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
When I first thoughted, money is always the biggest issue.
I'm saying so personally, I've been to Vegas a handful
of times. I have family out there. I've never gambled once.
I don't care too.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Yeah, I'm not mad at that. So that's that.

Speaker 8 (35:36):
Man.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
So we've eliminated just about everything nightclubs, uh, strip club, casino,
which they're mad at you right now.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
Vegas let you in as soon as you're getting in there.
The only thing that's staying is the shows and the
pool party. We got to be the oldest show of America, right,
I mean, I mean that was the thing of the
last two years.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
I want to see Donnie Osman so much so that
usher got the super Bowl because of it, right, show
the big though people go to Vegas for.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
Show Spossleur number three. I'll tell you what, Oh

Speaker 2 (36:09):
