talk about now called Satisfy. Andin it you've got a recipe for something
delicious and very healthy, and Icall it my super Power Salad. And
it's a combination of different recipes thatI have in my book. And what
I wanted to do is really plugin a lot of fiber and plug in
(00:23):
the cruciferous vegetables which are great foryou. So this new wholesome salad has
both kale and spinach, high fiber, and cruciferous red cabbage. And it's
plant based, so it has highprotein at a mammy and quinoa, sweet
carrots, and the delightful crunch ofcashews, all partnered with some cooke uema,
which is also source of protein. Here are your ingredients. You're going
to take eight cups of chopped kale, four cups of red cabbage, one
(00:47):
and a half cups of shredded carrots, one and a half cups of frozen
shelled at a mammy thod, oneand a half cups of cooked and cooled
qema, and sprinkle on top aquart of a cup of chopped cashews.
Mix that all together. The dressing. That's the best part. Right.
So I have a great Asian vinagrettewhich is found in my book. I
believe it's in a cabbage slaw. And it's a combination of two tablespoons of
(01:08):
reduced sodium soy sauce, a tablespoonof maple syrup, a tablespoon of rice
wine vinegar, tablespoon of sesame oils, and some fresh ginger. Drizzle that
vinegrette over the salad and you've gotthe most amazing, healthy power salad.
