Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scary movie six sixty six, Stop Stop Blades already dead?
Will Venom do the gritty? Did we dodge a Joaquin
sized bullet? In two thousand and eight? Tarantine No, thank
you to Dune and Shogun Obi wan as in him,
What we ka do in the Shadows? And much more.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
But first news, demp Halloween is finally over, meaning that
it is the greatest time of the year. Nick Fryer.
By the way, Nick is filling in for Mac right now.
He was offered overtime and here on the Mac and
Goo program. When you have a chance for money, you
get that money. But back to this, Halloween is over.
(00:42):
It is now the holiday season.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Of course, is there? You already gotten your tree?
Speaker 2 (00:47):
I have a fake tree, so yes, I have my
tree year round. I am putting it up November two tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Okay, nice, not the time, sam things.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
But yes, it was.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
It was grit Halloween except the weather. It was way
too warm.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
It was beautiful. What are you talking about? That's it?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah, that's what this podcast is, two white guys talking
about the weather. Finally, what I've always wanted to do.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
I'm sorry, I thought that's what Max's biggest passion was yes,
I have no idea what I'm doing.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
And I'll get into my costume, my Halloween costume controversy
in the next episode when we talk about Agatha, because
we were supposed to do Agatha all along this episode,
but since Matt can't be here, we are going to
do this quick dump with Fryer. But earlier, I went
to Target right at the open, right at seven o'clock,
because I wanted to go in there and see them
(01:36):
assembling their entire Christmas section, all of the miserable employees,
just putting up all the glitz and glamour of what
this beautiful holiday is.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
I can't say I've ever had to experience that. But
at the same time, I just don't Thanksgiving is a
thing people like. I'm excited for Christmas. I like all
the stuff, But at the same time, like this is
still this is where it's like we still have the fall,
Like the fall is still ongoing. Doesn't the fall actually
still go in December? If I'm not mistaken. Technically from
a seasonal standpoint.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
I even wore my red crew neck just in case
they wanted to ask me for help.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
You're terrible, you are a monster. You may you have
been better off going in in your amazing casey costume
not to step on it, and you got to talk
about it later. But that was awesome. I can't believe
you didn't win that news depth.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yes, we discussed earlier that Scary Movie six is in
development and the Wayans brothers are coming back after fifteen
years since they have left the franchiser. Since most of them,
I'm not sure how many of them worked on Scary
Movie three, four, and five. They were very well known
for Scary Movies one and two. This is via Deadline.
(02:41):
I am curious though, how are they gonna approach their
joke telling because time and place really with those first
couple movies, I don't know how they're gonna pull it off.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Now. Yeah, that was the big thing. I mean. On
the now Retire Change My Mind podcast, West and I
did a little bit of a look back on some
of those. I think it was the first two that
we did, and it was just like hot, this doesn't
get made today in no way, shape or form. And
now we've got a six one coming. So that was
my big question when I saw this news, was like,
how are you guys gonna do this and make it funny?
(03:14):
To the audience that loved it before.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
News Damp Wolverine will officially be streaming on November twelfth
on Disney Plus. So for the five people that have
not seen it yet, here you go, Ryan Reynolds or
the Deadpool account. I can't think they put the two
logos Deadpool and Wolverine in a urinal, you know, because
get it, streaming can't slip one pass frior.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
I think the three have already gotten Buy me today
but a morse in Tuca.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
But I'll tell you what, don't you dare do that?
Speaker 1 (03:50):
What? My when my wife and I saw Deadpool and Wolverine,
we walked out of the theater and we'd like to
try and do marathons, and she beat me to the
punch on us when she's like, when this hits streaming,
this is moving to the top of our list of
marathons that we're going to do between this and the
first two.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Did you and your wife Not to pry too personal
into your life here, but did you guys dress as
Gambit and Rogue for Halloween? As you've been telling us
often in the chat, that that's what you're.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Doing there, Yes, that that's I'm going that says that
not Joe. Yes, one hundred percent. No, we did not
do that. She actually went as Wednesday Adams this year,
and I was just a lame nurse.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Oh you should have wait what, I came.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Into some scrubs recently, so I was just like, oh,
you know, I'll just do that for Halloween.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
So you, first off, you used to dress up for
every Change my Mind podcast.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yeah, I see that's the problem. I dressed up all
the time, so it's like Halloween's just another day to me.
So I don't I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I just so you dressed up as a nurse.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, scrubs. That's it, really lazy. I mean you could
say I was like a respiratory therapist or something else
if you want, but that was it.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I kind of hate you.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
That's fine.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Wow you did already. So this is this is not
She's Wednesday Adams.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
You could have done Uncle Fester, I could have You
could have been that hand his name is thing.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
You could have been. Yeah, there's a Pugly.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I've seen a lot of Pugsly, A lot of awesome
couples costumes that I haven't seen pop up on social
I saw a Dennis or with a Tomato for Lord
of the Rings fans, you guys get that one. I
saw a doing one where it's like your one person's
the worm and then the other one is, uh, exactly. Yeah,
So there's a there's a lot of cool ones. Maybe
next year. Maybe next year. I'll make sure to report back.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Blade has officially been delayed indefinitely. It is no longer
set for its release date. Are we now just under
the impression that it's not coming out.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I gotta think we're gonna get a Blade thing still
at some point. I just don't know if it's gonna
be Maherscha Ali. I don't know if they're gonna try
and retire the character in a way with you where
you use Wesley Snipes or find a way to do
something you did, similar to Dead Play. We've seen a
lot about that. But this is just it's just a nightmare.
I don't know how this happened. This is something I
would have never expected, what happen with the MCU under
(06:03):
five gy Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I think it's pretty simple now that if they do
want to get into the Midnight Suns, which is kind
of what their endgame is with, you know, adding Blade
is just skip the Blade movie and go with Wesley Snipes.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Yeah, definitely do that. And they've built up a lot
of this mystic space. Now now you've added you know,
a big player to the mix as well via a
recent show. We'll say, but there's a lot that can
be done still and you can, yes, I think actually
do that is a very sound as.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Let me ask you this because you are you're way
more well read than I am. Is who are the
characters that should be in Midnight suns Uh.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Wolverine can get in the mix there, Ghostwrider, you could
do either Johnny Blaze. There's three ghostwriters that you could utilize,
but Johnny Blaze would be my pick. Or you do
Reyes you could do trying to think of I don't
know if we said Blade already, but then doctor Strange
Moon Night could get thrown into the mix of that
as well. That puts you up five.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Is there a limit?
Speaker 1 (06:55):
I'm sure there's a limit, And I'm sure there's ways
they could get creative too, because I'm wondering now if
they would be like, oh, should we try and throw
Wickan in the mix, because then that kind of gets
you know, you know, then there's and there's other things too.
I don't want to, like, you know what, I'm trying
to dance around right now too.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Okay, all right, news Dump cut a couple of teasers
to a couple of Marvel shows. First, got a twenty
second tease and this is I think cut down from
what they showed at New York Comic Con for Daredevil
Born Again. Lots of Fisk, lots of Murdoch. I am
super stoked for this show. I'm hoping that they let
(07:31):
Fisk and it doesn't seem like they are, but Lean
more back into the bad side of it. He's having
a conversation with Murdoch. I want him to get away
from what they've done in the Disney Plus stuff with him,
get him back to what he was on Netflix. And
then we also got a six second teaser for Spider Man.
This is called It's an animated show Your Neighbor, Your
(07:53):
Friendly Neighborhood spider Man, where Spider Man whax a fella
in the head with a brick.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, so on the Spider Man. Note first, I mean
the big thing that jumps out to me. Obviously, this
is animated, and we both love to see animated stuff
throwing into the mix. Obviously, X Men. The animated series
ninety seven was outstanding. With this, it feels like they're
trying to capture what's going on with across the Spider
Verse and do it with Peter Parker. I'm fine with that,
but just from an animation standpoint, it feels like we're
(08:20):
getting like the cousin of that animation where it's like
it's more two D. Still feels like it could be
comic book. Ye. Yeah, it's just you're playing with fire
when you're doing that, So just make sure. If they're
not getting that exactly right, then I'm sure they're going
to get some negative policity on the socials for whatever
that's worth. From Daredevil borninggen this looks outstanding, and this
(08:41):
is part of the This is looking like it's going
to be a structure around the Devil's Rain run where
we see Fisk run for mayor become mayor excuse me
of New York and it was a lot goes wrong.
A lot of actually other Marvel characters get involved throughout this,
not just the New York ones. There's a ton of
potent with a Thunderbolts being around as well, there's potential
(09:03):
for them to be thrown in the mix as well.
So I couldn't be higher on adding Daredevil to the
mix and having visited Donafrio and Charlie Cox. But now
we're seeing a story that Chips Darski wrote, one of
the best Daredevil writers that we've seen thrown in. Like
I love seeing a recent Marvel story being added to
the MCU.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
News due.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Tom Hardy said that he is hoping, of course, his
trilogy of Venoms is now done, but he wants a
Logan esque Venom film that is gritty and rated R.
He told this to The Rap Director Kelly Marcel said
that they're desperate to make this, and Hardy also said
that he wanted to actually do this. He envisioned Venom
(09:45):
two as this.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
I think as Venom two, that would have been a
great idea. Now, not having seen Venom three, having more
expectations for Venom three than I had the other two
because Nullah is in the mix, I'm like luke warm
on this idea. I think this would have been a
great idea for Venom to and then it just like
in out We've done all this stuff with Tom Hardy
and Venom and then move on. Now it's like Okay, again,
(10:08):
I haven't seen Null. If they screwed up Null, then
I'm gonna have That's not great. It's not great.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Now.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
What I would say is whether it be this or
people demanding a Blade Wesley Snipe style logan movie logan
is pretty special. We don't need to do that with
every character. And although an R rated venom would be dope,
maybe do an R rated venom with a different actor,
with a different director, make it more connected to the
(10:36):
MCU connected to Spider Man. Have your venom actually connected
to Spider Man with his origin story?
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Yeah? I think I just all around, I'd like to
move on from the Tom Hardy era. That's not necessarily
a commentary on him, it's just a it's more a
commentary on Sony and everything that they've done. And I
agree with you, like we've seen it in the actual comics.
I mean, we even saw Buffy get the the old
Man logan treatment over it. It was I would describe
it as that, no, but it was I read that.
(11:03):
I remember the first couple of issues. I was just
kind of like MEH on it. But yeah, I just
we've seen it a time, and we've seen it in film,
just in different ways, and not necessarily multiple times with
DC or Marvel. I'm okay with it.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Let's do The Dark Knight returns again.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Also, and I don't have a source here on this,
but I did see that Tom Hardy said that he's
open to playing other Marvel characters in the MCU.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
I don't think you can do that. I know he
only had the cameo in What was It? Far from Home?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
But I mean we're already getting other actors playing multiple characters.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Anyways. It doesn't really matter anymore. Nothing matters.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Don't say that.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Its Waking Phoenix revealed while I believe, speaking to Rick
Rubin that Christopher Nolan approached him to play the Joker
for The Dark Knight, but he said I was not ready.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Then, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Mean that would have been I've I haven't, okay, and
I because I'm not doing change my mind anymore. I'm
very much behind on the map.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
I have turned off movies. I've said I'm done with
movies now that I'm not doing change my mind. By
the way, Nick fry did I introduce you?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
I did? I think change my mind?
Speaker 2 (12:15):
People know who you are, and if they don't, then
this is Nick Fryer he was from Change My Mind.
He is on a comic book podcast called I I've
Heard of Both Ways, No it's TLDR too long, don't read.
And then he is also he is on DraftKings, where
(12:36):
he does some entertainment reporting.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, I've been doing a lot of Agata stuff, which
has been fun. But on the note of on the
note of this Joaquin Phoenix stuff, I enjoyed what he
did in the first movie. I thought it was very interesting, spin,
interesting take. I know Mack has said it a ton
that you don't you didn't need this to be a
Joker movie for it to be an interesting movie. It's
like it was part of the moment where everybody needs
to see superhero stuff, part of the box office draw
(13:01):
and everything. But the idea of that's great that Christopher
Nolan thought that the vision was there, and he was
proven right in some capacity. But Heath Ledger and his
take were just so fascinated up.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Heath Ledger is amazing in the movie.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
But I'll also say this is that a lot of
that has to do with how great of a director
Christopher Nolan is. And I think that if you take
another great actor like Juaquin Phoenix, let's not look Djokoto
not great, but let's not forget that Juaquin Phoenix is
an amazing actor. I'm sure that he would have given
us something else that was also memorable.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah, he definitely would have, even like akin to the
take again, just look just looking at the first one
that take there, he could have done a lot and
then gone toe to toe with Batman and it might
have even gone in some ways better with the comics,
just because of the way he was he looked. I'm
sure it would looked more like Keith Ledger if he
had done it. But still, I think Heath Ledgers was
was different but still like true to the character and
(13:52):
what he's been, And I think that's always refreshing to
see where there's a uniqueness to it.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Oh no, and I'm not sure that Phoenix could have
pulled off like that magnetic personality that Ledger gave us.
But yeah, no, both of these actors have won Academy
Awards for playing that character.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Yeah, no doubt in what King Phoenix is mean outstanding
in general. I just I think the idea of depriving
us of like obviously the role of got to Heath
Ledger in a way that was just awful. But like
he's the way he portrayed that character. I just I
wouldn't like. I can't imagine not having.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
That news damp.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Speaking of Christopher Nolan, his next movie, according to Imax
CEO Richard Gelfond, will use new Imax technology and he
said it's never before used equipment that our teams have
been developing through the past year. And this is what
Christopher Nolan does. He brings cinema into the future.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yeah, he definitely does. I mean, anytime he's anything he does,
I'm interested in. I mean, it's just such an amazing
visual experience. Never mind the stories that we get along
the way. I know I'm the only person in the
DSG who understood tenant in its entirety. I'm not gonna
see her.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Your mind is so complex. I'm sorry, Nick, big brain
frar over there.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
I got.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Well anyways, but that's okay. I'm not gonna sit here
and try and explain it to you because we don't
have that much time.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
But yeah, Maximarian Backwards is Neil You knew that? Right?
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Yeah? Of course? Yeah, sure, whatever I said, right, you
need to say you got anything else?
Speaker 2 (15:31):
No, it's all I got news demp went Tarantino speaking
to I'm not even short.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I should source better than this, But he said that
he loved Joker too, saying Todd Phillips is the Joker,
the Joker directed the movie. He's spending the studio's money
like the Joker would have spent it. He's saying fuck
you to the movie audience. He's saying fuck you to Hollywood.
He's saying fuck you to anyone who owns any stock
(15:59):
at d WB. And while yes, Quentin Tarantino as a
filmmaker might appreciate this as a movie goer, I do not.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, I anytime something like this happens where someone provides
some a level of insight that it's just like I
never would have thought of. I generally like, oh, I
need to think got it more. I'd love to go
back and rewatch it through this kind of lens. Unfortunately,
now I'm going to try and forget this because I
again I haven't seen Jovertu, but knowing that, I feel
like this would create for a very interesting experience.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
No, it makes sense as someone who's worked in any industry.
I mean, you've worked in you know, media where you
look at certain things that other media companies do and
you're like, oh, that's a real middle finger to someone,
and you pick up on that. But as a consumer,
I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
It's a huge reach. I mean, like, he's a creative
and we're also.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
He's a creative mind, Like he's one of the greatest
creative minds of all.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Time, exactly in media, we sometimes we don't see things
that are quite his creative With Quentin Tarantino, obviously, you
said he's immensely creative. So it's like he's able to
spin that in a way where he's getting more out
of it, and I think it kind of fits the
way he wants to think about things as well. So again,
like I'm I will. I'm excited to experience it through
this lens, but I don't like I don't plan on
(17:17):
rewatching this either, even though I haven't seen it yet.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Having not seen it yet, I plan on only seeing
it once.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
It's just I mean, I trust you, guys, I trust
most of the most people on this. I mean that
everybody can't be wrong, right.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Tarantino also said that he refuses to watch Denny Vinenawave's
Dune films or Showgun because he saw the eighties versions, saying,
I don't need to see spice worms. I don't need
to see if they take me and put me in
ancient Japan in a time machine, I'm good. I don't
need to see those stories.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Okay, cool uh.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
I just sometimes don't understand him.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
There's dump.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
George Lucas said that he originally planned to switch the
names of Obi Wan Canbi and Qui gone Jin in
The Phantom Menace, and then after Obi Wan or Qui
gon at the time, I'm gonna mix up these names
a lot. After the death of Darth Maul, Qui gon
Jin played by Ewan McGregor, would just take the name
of Obi Wan Kenobi.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Yeah, you explained that very well, because this is like
a confusing concept. I appreciate the creativity, and I know
like there's like a like a spin on it too,
where like alec Innis said something to the effect of, right,
like Obi Wan, I haven't heard that name in a
long time, Right that that was part of it, Like
he like in a way of like I'm Qui Gon
and I haven't called that in so long I or
(18:35):
it's not even my name. I just I think I
appreciate the creativity, but the right decision was made. I
think that would have been absolutely the.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Right or less confusion because the movie is already it's
not confusing, but they introduce a lot of nonsense. To
introduce more nonsense might have pushed the people who were
still on board over the edge.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Yeah, Like, there are times where I'm a believer in
that there are times you can do cool shitting stories
just for the sake of it being cool. I think
more so when you talk about like character, wardrobe, you know, scenery,
all that kind of stuff. But by and large, when
you do something cool, it still has to mean something
in the story, and just for that, like one throwaway
line that doesn't mean enough to.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Me, it's dap not pree Director Jeff Fowler says that
Keanu Reeves didn't just show up and read the script
and do the voice of Shadow. He really wanted to
get into the mind of Shadow. He did so much
research and he clearly had gone home and done that homework.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
I love the man's hustle.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Yeah, I appreciate it. You appreciate this, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
How can you not? I mean, Keanu puts it all in,
and I mean that's that's what you now. How that's
gonna come out, if it's gonna sound much different than
some of those other roles, I don't know, but I
appreciate the effort.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
And look, I don't fully understand where all these Sonic
movies are going. I only played the games up to
a certain point. I know Sonic, I know Tales. I'm
getting more introduced to Knuckles at the point, but like Shadow,
I have no idea what the h this thing is.
But I appreciate Keanu being like, I'm not just gonna
provide a voice. I'm gonna know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Yeah, yeah, And I mean there's there's at least gonna
be a difference in that for sure, as as opposed
to just coming in and it's just like, you know,
there's not gonna be as much conviction if he does.
He stuff familiar with his material, but with with I'm
kind of similar to you. I'm familiar with with Knuckles.
I mean I remember him being introduced as a kid
and then Shadow. I had a game where Shadow was featured.
But other than that, I just know he's like, he's
(20:29):
really cool and like has similar powers of Sonic, and
he's kind of bad. But could he be good that?
I don't I don't have much. Oh.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
The headline, by the way, so you said, what we
k e A do in the shadows?
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Right? Is that what you said? You said something stupid
like that.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
I said, like do in the shadows?
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Like right right right?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
So the headline was supposed to be what we ki
I do in the shadow.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Ki I do? Well? You spelled k I do?
Speaker 3 (20:55):
That's as key I do?
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Well, okay, I spelt it phrenetically, not spell that phonetically.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
I guess people at home tell me what k E spells? Key?
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Really?
Speaker 3 (21:11):
How do you should I have put a y at
the end?
Speaker 1 (21:13):
I mean why could have worked? Or yeah? That probably
would have worked actually perfectly.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
So you pronounced it kai I think, I said k
I do. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Let's listen back to the tape.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Do you think k E is k it's not?
Speaker 1 (21:25):
I said, can't no, No, I said can't I like
not K like, can't like soft e?
Speaker 3 (21:30):
Can't I do?
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah, I don't know that. You gave me no prep
time on this is just like just getting.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
It because you don't know how this show works.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
We do headlines now, we do silly headlines. Yes, and
if you want to join the show, you do the headlines,
ky I do in the shadow. It's a great fucking
headline news, Damna. We are very close to the final
couple episodes of The Penguin and in this next episode
(22:01):
it is called top Hat and they are going to introduce.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
A top hat.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Yeah. I can't mean this is what we've been waiting
for this entire series. This is there. There's been such
a good run of shows right now. Goo, I'm like
between this, Agatha from Vox mockin up for me, like
those those four shows, Like it's been an amazing run.
But I do think from his from is objectively good.
(22:28):
And I have the least like insect going into the
show because I just started binging a caught up. Penguin
probably the best show of the bunch.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
I'm gonna say this, and we'll talk about Agatha in
a second, but Agatha's pretty met to me, and I
think Penguin being so good makes me not care about
Agatha as much. But I made the point on social
media that if they show him holding an umbrella on
the screen, I'm gonna need a new pair of pants.
(22:57):
Scratches that it's for you yeah, an umbrella. You're seeing
the penguin. He's got umbrellas and that. A listener pointed
out to me that if you look in the kitchen
of his lady friend in the last episode, and I'm like, oh, what,
what was it? So I went and I looked and
her light fixture, it just looks like an umbrella. So
(23:17):
it's a nice little Easter egg. But when he said that,
I was like, oh my god, did I miss Did
she have the neon hello there sign that Selena Kyle
had and Batman returns. I don't know why my mind
went there, but I'm I went and I looked him like,
that would have been amazing if she had the hell
here sign.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
They didn't have it, though.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
The series has been yeah, so damn good. I love
a con Farles done news.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Dam and finally will have our Agatha full season podcast
coming out next Goose Day when Mac is back. I
can give you a quick heads up. I stayed awake
for the last two episodes.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Well that's good. I'm glad. I'm glad. I won't spoil
anything for people, but I will say I thought this
was a good series going into the final two episodes,
like a solid B. This probably ended up being a
B plus for me, not a name minus. Okay, I
loved I really liked the penultimate episode. I loved what
(24:14):
they did with the finale. I cannot I haven'topped thinking
about it since I watched it.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
I would say that for myself out of my uh
my not caring meter, like watching the show and being like,
I don't care about this. It's close to the bottom
of my MCU shows. M really just a lack of interest.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Have you guys done about ranking of the MCU shows?
Speaker 2 (24:34):
So I actually had my my former co host, Wesley
Sykes on from MCU at home and we ranked the
ten seasons of Marvel Television shows.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
I gotta go back and find that. I don't when
was the what was the tenth one? What was the
one that got the worst? No? No, no, no, no, no
no no. I mean, like, what was that the final
the latest one? Was it? X Men ninety seven?
Speaker 3 (24:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (24:58):
No, So, I don't think we counted or there was
before X Men ninety seven.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
It was live action.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
It was all live actions and not remember but it
must not have been memorable then.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
I don't know. I don't know what happened there, but
for me like, I just I love Catherine Han. I
think she is an all time like actress.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
I've we got a ton of Catherine Han in there
until the end, and then by that point I wasn't
really that interested.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Well, I think we got a different side of Katherine Hank,
and I like all sides of Catherine Hank if I'm
being honest.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
And I'll tell you what in your pants?
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Right, you're the one talking about getting you know, excited
over a freaking umbrella. So you take it easy.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
You can block bullets and shoot things out of the umbrella.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Okay, So you're on the spider Man side of the
Sydney Sweete spider Man.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
And sometimes the umbrella is just for show, like when
you open and you go, ah, that's.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
A very umbrella. There you go. Well said. But what
I do want to say too, is I really right
now want a willing to existence a Catherine Han Killian.
I need to see that.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
I those just random just doing whatever is what you're saying.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
I don't let them, yeah, truth they want to write it,
because I just want what I want in it is
I want Killy and Murphy to be annoyed with her
the entire time because I think that's what actually would
happen in real life, because she is so much and
he just doesn't want to be bothered. It seems like
all the time. So I need to see that happen.
I don't know what that movie is, but make it happen,
somebody please.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
So you want and you don't care what the genre is,
you don't care what the circumstance is. You just want
a movie with Killian Murphy being annoyed by Catherine Han.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
Yes, that is exactly what I want. That's it. Figure
out the rest from there. I don't know. You're welcome
for the box office hit.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Everybody all right, news death. Thank you for joining me. Nick.
Have I introduced you on the show yet.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
