Pain and memory spill over at the Ride for Your Life,
hundreds bike from Cambridge to Boston, gathering in front of
the State House. Do you remember those they lost to
traffic deaths?

Health organizers here trying to get two main bills passed
this session, one to install traffic cameras across the state
and in another to put more safety rules on commercial trucks.
Emily Stein is with the Safe Roads Alliance. She lost
her father to a crash in twenty eleven.

Organizers here say they were close to four unto traffic
deaths in Massachusetts last year alone. Most people here have
either lost someone or know someone who has. They say
all they want to do is make sure that doesn't
happen to another family.
