Patience is a virtue, especially in fishing, but having patients
ahead of the fishing season is a little bit more difficult.

of time before the striped bass make their way up.

a half. Normally bigger fish a little later than that.
But everyone's really excited for the season and we're getting
new tackling very soon, so expect big things this summer.

Well, when those stripers get here, they'll have to watch
out for a familiar foe, seals.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I haven't see seals in the North River my boat's there,
so that's a big factor. And you find a lot
of bigger fish and more populated out deeper towards minor
light and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
And also a reminder it's illegal to keep any striped
bass outside of the twenty eight to thirty one inch range,
and you can only keep one if you're just fishing
