This is a ten eight hundred square foot house built
in eighteen eighty.

Developer Rick Belvaux with Volney Capital took it over a
couple of years ago when the house was up for
foreclosure and falling apart. Since then they've painstakingly returned it
to its former glory.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
The woodwork on this is something that you just wouldn't
see redone in today's age.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
The inside is white and filled with light and ocean
views from practically every window. The renovations cost more than
two million dollars in the local historical society, it was
grateful to see one of the first buildings on Little
Nahot Island back in shape.

You were to build a ground up construction house, even
if it was a similar design and layout, it just
wouldn't have the same historical field.
