Speaker 1 (00:16):
Howdy.
Welcome back to anotherfun-filled episode of the
Unknown Secrets of InternetMarketing.
I am your host, matt Bertram.
This is my end of the yearpodcast.
Happy New Year, merry Christmas, happy Holidays to everyone out
there.
I am gonna try to release thisright around.
In between that time period Iam gonna be out.
(00:38):
I've been doing a lot ofpodcast interviews.
I thought this would be a goodtime to reach out and check in
with you.
I know that the format'schanged.
Hopefully you like it.
I wanted to read a quick reviewto follow our old format for
(00:59):
you longtime listeners of themeat and potatoes.
This is from Chris G-F.
He's a local guide Great pod,thank you.
I've been listening to it forthe last year or so.
It was on the top of my listfor listeners on Spotify wrapped
, so he posted a picture as well, so we're his top podcast on
there.
We also just got acknowledgedfrom Buzzsprout to be the top
(01:20):
one of the top 10% of allpodcasts on Buzzsprout, so we're
doing big things.
I think people are liking ourformat.
Please leave us reviews, pleasefollow us, please subscribe,
please share.
If you've gotten value out ofthis, we are going to start
being a lot more accessible, Iguess, on YouTube and on videos.
(01:44):
So we have a initiative to pushin that area.
Um, we've been on iTunes for solong and it's been a great uh,
it's been a great ride, and Ithink that a lot of people are
looking for more video content.
And so, um, please, uh, belooking out for our shorts out
there.
Uh, at internet,internetmarketingsecretscom as
(02:07):
well as that's going to be ourhashtag.
Surprise, no one had that, butyeah, so we're going to be
rocking and rolling on that.
We're really expanding outsideof just SEO to all things
internet marketing.
And I just really wanted to endthe year with you on there's so
much changing in digitalmarketing.
There's so much changing withSEO.
(02:28):
The last couple of podcastswe've been talking about the
7-11-4 rule, right, so I'vetalked a lot about seven hours
of content.
Someone's got to consume sevenhours of content, whether it's
interacting with yoursalespeople, your website, sales
material, books, podcasts, webinars, whatever you have.
They need to see your brand 11times to kind of get in their
(02:49):
psyche.
And then, on four differentplatforms and that could be
different social media platforms, seo billboards, what have you?
Right, but people need to beseen, you need to be omnipresent
.
We've talked about that andthat's like a really good format
to have.
I also wanted to let everyoneknow that we have officially
launched MatthewBertramcom andwe will be starting a coaching
(03:13):
program mastermind program nextyear.
I've had a lot of interest.
I've been doing some coachingkind of people knocking on the
door and asking me to do it.
We've turned in our servicehours into kind of like a CMO
program as well, as now we'regoing to launch the full
coaching program.
We're opening it up to allexisting clients to be part of
(03:35):
it and then, if you're not aclient, you still can have
access to that.
And what are the benefits?
There's going to be some greatnetworking opportunities with
people outside of your space.
There's going to be some greatnetworking opportunities with
people outside of your space.
There's going to be peersupport, problem solving.
I was shocked.
I was shocked.
I thought people would get on acall, ask me a bunch of
questions, bring questions, youknow, drain me for whatever
(03:57):
information I had and then moveon.
And that is not actually whathappened.
There was constantly newquestions, there was a good
cadence.
There was a good cadence, therewas accountability, and so this
has been very organic and wedon't sell big ticket coaching
programs.
That's not something we've everdone, so this is the first time
we're going to do it.
This is a pilot and so you'regoing to get tremendous amount
(04:20):
of value.
Once we get it figured out, wewill raise the price.
Okay, so I'm going to have alimited number of people that
I'm going to allow in this, andonce we figure it out, you could
buy some of the information, but we give away a lot of the
problem solving to yoursituation is really where the
(04:42):
value is, like CMO insights toyour business to keep you out of
the ditch, to help you get theright programs to connect you
with the right vendors.
There's so much opportunity ifyou're looking to grow your
business, sell your business, step out of your business and
let your business run for you asan asset.
Also, ai right AI.
(05:03):
You need to have a trustedsource.
There's tons of people hawkingall kinds of stuff out there.
I have some of the best experts.
I've gone to some of the bestconferences and we're
implementing this ourselfAnything that I would share with
you.
We're drinking that Kool-Aidtoo, so I can give you real
world case studies.
So education and skillsdevelopment are a huge part of
(05:23):
that, and you know, my goal isto help you think in the right
way about situations, to trainyou to fish to not just give you
a fish, but like improvedecision-making.
I think will help you.
And look, I've done everythingwrong.
Okay, I've.
I've, I've made every mistakein the book and I've learned
from it.
Failed, failed quickly, hopefully and then move forward
(05:47):
and and that's what's put us onthis trajectory of growth.
You know, I think thatself-development, always wanting
to learn, is the ethos of ourcompany, and I'm looking for
like-minded people about that.
I would even tell you we'reprobably going gonna start
another little crypto coachingprogram as well.
That's something that I ampassionate about.
(06:09):
It's something I thinkeverybody should get involved
with.
I think you're gonna starthearing it a lot more in the
news, just like the drones rightBitcoin, over 100,000 ROI
cost-effectiveness.
You know how do you look at yourmarketing and go is this
profitable?
Does this make sense?
How do I evaluate it?
You can go based on your gutfeeling.
You can go based on greatpresentations of what people say
(06:30):
, but how do you look at thedata?
How do you build models?
How do you make marketinginvestment?
How do you know when it's goingto pay off.
A lot of these things you canreally figure out and you can
get really, really good atattribution and you can really
look at your bottom line and youcan see that growth is
happening.
And that's really the power ofmarketing is to bring in
(06:51):
predictable revenue where youcan predict what's going to
happen, you can plan on it, it'sinvestment, it's growth, and
then we're going to have a lotof exclusive opportunities.
I'm going to bring in peoplethat would cost a lot of money
to access keynote speakers, people in my network, people in
EWR's network and people inOGGN's network and I've been
(07:12):
doing a lot of stuff over there.
If you've checked out our OilGas Sales Marketing Podcast, a
lot of that podcast informationis very helpful to larger
organizations sales andmarketing integration, not just
oil and gas, not just peoplethat want to reach oil and gas,
but all people that are reallyfundamental principles.
And I have a lot of great peoplein my network from conferences.
Like, for example, the personthat manages our GNB ran the GNB
(07:37):
department for 10 years atGoogle.
He actually presided overGoogle.
My to Google Business Profile.
Like would you like to haveaccess to that person?
Would you like to ask themquestions.
I know when I met him Icertainly did, and a great guy,
and so you know these are thekind of people we're going to
give you access to Communityright.
(08:00):
I think everything in the futureis going to be about community.
I can tell you,permission-based marketing and
community development andbuilding an audience on
different platforms on rentedproperty right is the future.
It's not about clicks.
It's about reaching the rightaudience and speaking to them
(08:23):
with a message and filling upnot the clicks or your website,
but their headspace.
And I can tell you, at Brighton, I didn't have to go all the
way across the pond to go there.
It was amazing for it to cometo San Diego for the second year
.
Both keynote speakers one wasMoz and another guy over in the
(08:44):
UK that I listened to both ofthem were speaking in this way.
Clicks are going down, thingsare changing.
How do you need to approachthis?
How do you need to access this?
And I spent a lot of timenetworking with some of the
other speakers and there's goingto be some great people that
you're going to have access toto bring you in.
So you know, depending on whosigns up, we may have something
(09:06):
separate for freelancers andagencies, because how, how we
communicate or what the issuesmight be, might be a little bit
different than small businesses.
You know, I think that there's alot of opportunity.
We don't do everything amazing,okay.
We do everything pretty danggood.
We do some stuff absolutelyamazing, and then I have other
(09:27):
contractors, other agencies, Ihave other people in my network
that I can call on to help abusiness grow, and I want to put
you in touch with some of thesepeople and if you're some of
these people, I want you to bepart of the community of unknown
secrets.
So you know, check it out, Ihave my book coming out to
another book coming out.
We're we're actually using AIto take all the podcasts we've
(09:52):
done the 700 something podcastswe've done and turn it in a book
and summarize it.
Some of those best tips we'regoing to be going through that
Everybody's going to get.
A free copy of that Can besigned if you want it to be.
I'm not saying I'm a celebrityor anything like that, but want
to give you access to theabsolute best people Want to
find like-minded people thatwant to grow, whether it be
(10:15):
their agency or their smallbusiness.
I think that there is so muchopportunity in 25 and I want to
wish you all the best absolute2025.
