Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show to your other holidays. Let's go
around the room.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
What's on the minds of those who are here? I
want to start with Froggy. Froggy is in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida.
It's gonna have a real field of one hundred and
ten degrees today, Is that true?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
It is gonna be a hot one today.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It is God that would just fry my brain, which
is already fried as it is.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
So Froggy, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
So last night I forgot to put my phone on
the charger when I went to sleep. I just went
I was gonna do it, and I just dozed off,
fell asleep and into it. I had a dream in
the middle of the night that my phone was not charging.
I woke up and sure enough, it was not charging. Wow,
what the hell is going on with us that we
are so attached to these things? That is frightening?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I did. I woke up. It was one thirty seven am.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
I looked over my phone was not charging, and I
put it on the charger so it would be fine
for the day. But I realized that maybe there's something
wrong when that's.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
What we're driving.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Did your heart skip a beat when you discovered that
it did? Because in the dream so real, it's like
you didn't put your phone in the charge. It's not
gonna be charged. You gotta charge it, you gotta charge it.
And I couldn't get I couldn't wake up to charge it.
But then I did and it wasn't charging. Oh no,
all right, we got a problem.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I think we all have a pal with our phones. God, hey, producer, Sam,
what's up with you today?

Speaker 5 (01:16):
I know we're in the day and age of your
traveling with a million photos at any given time on
your phone. You have every photo that means anything to you,
You have instant access to it. But there is still
something different about having a tangible photo printed out in
front of you.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
And I kind of forgot that.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
And my husband William and I were looking at like
a collage that he was gifted of all photos of
him growing up, and just staring at those photos felt
so different than looking at it on a phone or
condu different. It's just kind of beautiful, and.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
I think I forgot that for a while.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
So if there's a time that's really important to you
or a photo that you like looking at on your phone.
Maybe try printing it out. Frame it. It's gonna have
some kind of a different impact. I can't quantify it,
but it's there.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Are you like me where you have a bob of
your life's photos and then it just stops on like
a date it stopped at nineteen ninety nine or wherever
whenever phones go two thousand, whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
We just take it for granted, and from that moment
for we never put another picture in the box. Yeah,
it's kind of weird. Take it through. Hey, Danielle, what's up?

Speaker 6 (02:17):
Okay? I am so excited because there are a couple
of really cool things on the way. First of all,
Emily in Paris the new season August fifteenth. It is
a week away. How awesome is that? I don't know
if any of you have you ever seen?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
I have not, but I know you love watch. I
find it corny, but I love it.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I love it.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
I love this.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
The hottest guys in them.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yeah, that's absinely reason. Oh HiT's my algorithms.

Speaker 6 (02:38):
Oh so, there is a new Michael boublaz song out
today called Don't Blame It on Me. I think Garrett's
gonna play you a clip, dude. Michael Boo Blaze just
the freakin' best. He is, his songs, Everything's so awesome
And two weeks from today, Garrett Froggy, what album comes out?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Two weeks from today? What is it?

Speaker 6 (02:56):
The new Thomas Rhet album?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Is it already two weeks him today?

Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Oh my goodness. I knew it was coming out, but
it was tweaks of them today.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Well, so many good things to focus on and fun
stuff on the way. So that's it.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
She's doing it.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
I'm doing it.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
She's being a fan of so many things. I love that. Hey,
straight night, what's up with you?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
We were talking about books book lovers.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
I am a proud card carrying member of five different librries.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Why you sound like that?

Speaker 6 (03:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (03:23):
Please do yourself a favorite. Get a library card. That's
one of my favorite sounds is that crinkle of the
plastic cover on a library book. I love that sound.
Go get yourself a library card and it's free books.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
My god.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
You don't have to pay a penny. You just go
and they give you this book. They trust you to
bring it back.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
They don't even charge you. Like light FeAs and they
all have that library smell. Oh yeah, yeah, get yourself
a library card.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Go get a book free.

Speaker 8 (03:50):
Very scary, Hello scary. You know, it's nice to know
there are still honest people in this world. Yesterday I
was in the lobby of the building where I live,
and I was sitting down and for whatever reason, on
the couch next to me, I had to take my
wallet out, and I'd rested it on the chair next
to me, and then I went upstairs without my wallet.
Fifteen minutes later, my door person calls and she says,

(04:13):
we have your wallet at the front desk.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Somebody just turned it in. So I don't know who
that person was.

Speaker 8 (04:17):
I wanted to, you know, break them off for twenty
or something for finding it, but I just want to
say thank you, whoever that was, you anonymous, awesome human being.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Wait, how do you break them off at twenty?

Speaker 8 (04:28):
I wanted to just tip the guy or woman, whoever
it was, you know, for turning in my wallet. They
saw it sitting there on the chair. They could have
literally just taken it and just made off with it. Instead,
they turned it into the door person and she called
my you know, she called my house.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Nice, you think so you think it's a good thing
to reward or to tip those who do the right thing.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Reward I called a reward. Yeah, a tip, break them
off whatever you want.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Okay, well, good, that is a good thing. Sometimes there
are people in this world who are honest. Yes, and
you don't have.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
To tip them. Yeah, okay, let me slip you a
twenty one time.

Speaker 8 (05:02):
I washed it a while away from my house, and
then person drove to my house.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
I gave him, would you give them? I gave him
fifty bucks? I broke off a fitting. Can you clarify something?

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Did you get so tired walking into your building you
had to rest in a lobby?

Speaker 8 (05:16):
I was waiting for a delivery and something?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Oh? Food, of course?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Gandhi, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 7 (05:24):
All right?

Speaker 9 (05:24):
We have talked about posture a lot, but recently.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
When you said that, did we all set up? Y?

Speaker 7 (05:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Okay, by there, start over. I'm sorry.

Speaker 9 (05:30):
We need to have a conversation about posture. It is
important to sit up straight.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
It is important to.

Speaker 9 (05:35):
Stand when you can and not just you know, wrought
away from sloppiness and fat assness, which is what is
happening to a lot of us.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Have fat assness was that fat assess or fast fast
wait fat acidness?

Speaker 6 (05:47):
Both?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Okay?

Speaker 9 (05:49):
So I had this weird kind of like pinching sensation
around my rib cage and I was convinced something horrible
is going on.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
What is this?

Speaker 9 (05:57):
Went to my doctor, we had everything looked at, did
all the tests, and she said, you know what I
think it is. I think you need to do a
better job of sitting up straight because you may have
just pinched a bit of a nerve right there, Danielle.
I told her yesterday and she said, oh my god,
wait a minute, I think that's the same exact place
for me. I think the same thing is happening. We
are being so sloppy that we're pinched to nerves for
no reason.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And we were.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Both saying that we bought that contraption that Froggy talks
about that gives you like better posture, but neither of
us is taking it out of.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
The box you had, but owning it should be enough. Yeah,
that's what I thought it was the first Froggy. Do
you still wear it?

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Hold on, I get goodness, it's his man girdle. Well
that's the thing I know. I slouched. Oh look, you
got it.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
There.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
It is.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I slouch all the time and I have to, like,
I have to sit up. So when someone says some
like posture, I'm like, we all sit erect.

Speaker 9 (06:47):
It makes such a big difference.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Just try, just try.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I went to get a massage once and then guy said, hey,
look at you. How you're walking in here? I said what,
I looked at me? What how am I walking in here?
He said, look at your posture?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
He said, what? Look up? He said, even if you have.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
To look down so you don't trip on something, just
look down with your eyes, not your entire Torso I mean, okay,
I try

Speaker 3 (07:08):
To remember it, but you know how it is.
