Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's go around the room. We'll start with scary Scary.
What's on your mind today? I don't know, maybe it's
my upbringing, but I have a problem. Do you guys
have a bag of bags at home?
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Hell yeah, I got a bag of bags. The mine's
in my closet.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
But my bag of bags is so overstuffed with bags
that now I need another, a bigger bag to hold
the bag of bags because your bag.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
You need to stop the madness, Stop the madness, stop
the madness.
Speaker 5 (00:31):
But the thing is now, when I went to insult on,
I'm gonna tell them to go bet a bag of bags.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
But the problem is I can't.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
I have to get I never use the bags enough
to deplete the bag of bags. I always have more
bags in coming than the ones that are outgoing, so
therefore it's a problem and I can't part with them
because I'm like, if I throw this bag away, I
may need it someday.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
I'm crazy.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
How many bags do you have?
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Like you have like hundreds of them, But they're shopping bags,
they're plastic bags, they're wine wine bags.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Oh different different size and shapes.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
In the state of New Jersey. These are illegal.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I know, I can't just throw them away. And some
of them are paper bags, but sometimes they need shopping
bags around Christmas. Okay, I think you need a cat
of all. You need to snap out of it. You're
out of your mind, right, Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Start carrying your usable bags. You won't be bringing home
so many more. I know.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
I guess you need to toss those bags all right.
I just got to get toss them. You do, take
a can we move on? Because you've really lost your mind? Froggy,
what's up with you today? So last year, a couple
of years now in a row, I think four years.
This was the fifth year I've participated in this Saint
Jude event that happens here in Jacksonville, and last year
they raised one point seven million dollars. So we just
(01:41):
headed again this past weekend and I got the tally
from this weekend. They raised over two million dollars for
Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Oh my god, wow, It really.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
Truly is amazing what they do. We had a big
auction event on Saturday night. It was a lot of
fun to go to and see this and just meet
the patients from Saint Jude and see all that they
do and hear the stories. And I'm honored to have
been a partner this event, raising over two million dollars
in every bit of it goes to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
Speaker 5 (02:08):
So thank you. We love Saint Jude.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Absolutely, Hey Danielle, what's on your mind to that?
Speaker 7 (02:13):
So I told you that my mom was going to
be in a play this weekend, right, and some of
the songs she was doing was Hey, big spender. So
she walks out on stage and she's wearing like this
really tight fitting dress with like all these cute little
sparkly things on it. She's seventy five years old. And
let me just tell you something. Her legs are ridiculous.
(02:34):
She has the most incredible legs. People were whoin and hollering.
Everybody at the table was like that, your mother's look
at her legs. Why gosh, she is like a little
hotty toddy. So ma, damn, damn, damn those legs. You
look so good. So we'd never know my mother was
her age. She looked so incredible. But I was so
proudful she had such a good time. She did such
(02:55):
a good job. Everybody was great. It was so cute.
So there you go.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
You must be so proud of her.
Speaker 7 (03:00):
It was so cute and.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
I can't wait to see her gams. Hey, what a
nice broad your mom as look at those sticks? Hey,
straight and eight. What's on your mind today?
Speaker 8 (03:13):
Okay, so we're not all handy around the house, but
I'm going to tell you one way you can try
and be a little handier. Okay, insert your own joke there.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
But if you at your Jao station, No, no, this
one's wholesome. This one's wholesome.
Speaker 8 (03:28):
So I had to do something over the weekend and
I realized, you know what, I could hire somebody or
I could figure this out myself. I went to YouTube
and Froggy, you may have gone there before too, But
I went to this old house and I looked. I
searched for what I needed. I needed to replace a
piece of vinyl sighting and there boom, I found the
exact result I was looking for. And in eight minutes,
this guy he explained it so effectively that I was
(03:50):
able to do it myself without a lot of sweat,
tears and money. So if you ever need to do
something around the house, that you say to yourself, I
think I figure this out.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
Go to YouTube this old house.
Speaker 8 (04:03):
I guarantee they'll have an eight minute video explaining how
to do it, and you'll be so.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Much happier with yourself after the fact. So okay, give
it a trick. Thank you for the resource there, straight nank,
give it a trip.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Finally, we go live to our Hollywood studios starring Gandhi,
who's of course in Los Angeles to accept her Gracie
Award Tuesday night, tomorrow night.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
Yeah, uh, what's on your mind today?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Okay, So, flying out here, I did something that I
almost never do, and I had a conversation with the
guy sitting in the seat next to me. There were
no screens on the plane, so I had nothing to
do really, so we started talking. And I'm mad at
myself for not talking to more people that I sit
next to on a plane, because I learned so much.
And it just made me think about that Bill ny quote.
(04:48):
Everyone you ever meet will know something that you do not,
So get to know people, and it was fascinating. He
turned me on to so many things that I didn't
know about. Some of them were scary, but it was great.
So I'm encouraging people to talk to a stranger today.
You might learn something.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Well, you lucked out, by the way, and you're stuck
on a five and a half hour flight or six
hour flight from New York to La Yep, you're rolling
the dice.
Speaker 5 (05:10):
Seriously. You know you don't know what you got, so
you lucked out.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
You liked that was very talkative, and I texted my
sister as I sat down and said, oh no, I'm
next to a Tommy talks a lot. And it turned
out to be great.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
It was fine.
