Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show. Around the room a lot of
thoughts and a lot of the brilliant minds of the
Morning Show. We'll start with Scary. Speaking of brilliant mind
scary ladies and gentlemen. Yeah, it's time for that pearl
of wisdom to fall out of your oyster.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Well.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I never thought that I would say this, but I
was chosen to be a godfather. Who congratulations, my friend,
share of a human of a human being.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
No, but I'm freaking.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Out because I don't know what my responsibilities are going
to be. I'm like, I've never I'm not even a
good parent. I'm not a parent. I don't know anything
about kids. But they're like my my friend's cher and
her husband Scott. They had a beautiful baby boy, Enzo Casnza.
I am going to be your god daddy, I said,
I said I would do it.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Or there is a godmother, right, there's a godmother. Yes, Okay,
you're you're safe. You're saying so.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
It does depend.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
But in the eyes of the church, you are you
and a godmother are looked at the people who will
bring the child closer to their faith and make sure
that they follow the right path.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Think it that. Yeah, we'll find out. Yeah, congratulations, you
know I do.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Look, you're probably not gonna have to be called into
action anytime soon.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
But you know what, it is a learning experience there.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
There is a reason why they asked you to do this.
That's an honor. Yes, and maybe you should. Maybe you
should cheat. Treat this child a little differently than you
have other children.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I'm gonna cash at this kid, no problem.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Don't come to me for fathering or advice because I
don't know if I could be a dad.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Not even I'm that's a part of the Catholic faith.
Make sure you throw money at the can.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
Would you go to him for advice?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Gondi for the kids?

Speaker 6 (01:48):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Okay, there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Well congratulations, scary straightening. What's up with you today?

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Okay, sharks kill roughly ten people with you. You know
what is six times deadlier than sharks? Walk in freezers.
Sixty people a d from walk in freezers. They go in,
they get sixty, they walk in, they get stuck, they
can't get out.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
And they freeze it out. So I think it's dangerous.
You stay away from that. Walk in freeze. Hello, haven't
you seen the shining?

Speaker 6 (02:17):
Hello?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
That's true, that's true.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Walk in freezers they kill sixty people a year. Why
don't they put a door knob in there? They do
it malfunctions a lot, apparently. Okay, all right, maybe a phone.
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Hey, Froggy, what's up with you?

Speaker 7 (02:34):
So? You know, every musical format genre has its mount
rushmore of you know when you go over the last ten, fifteen,
twenty years. Well, I being in the country world, I
have never seen George Strait in concert. George Trad is
here in Jacksonville tomorrow night, and I'm going to see
him and Chris Stapleton, and I could not be more
excited to finally see one of the pioneers of our format.
Over the last has more number ones than anybody in history,

(02:57):
over sixty of them. I cannot wait to see George
Trae to our night. Good for you, Frog, that's my weekend.
Straight and Stableton cannot wait.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Look at that, didn't I used to call you that
in college?

Speaker 7 (03:09):
Straight and Stapleton, Straight and Stem It sounds like law firm.
Actually where you're going, Danielle, But yeah, sure, I.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Can't wait to hear your report on Monday morning. Okay,
have a great time.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
I used to did.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I used to watch a show called bass Fishing with
George String It's very possible he probably was bass fishing anyway, Gandhi,
what's up with you today?

Speaker 6 (03:29):
All Right?

Speaker 8 (03:29):
We always talk about not being afraid to suck at
something new, and yesterday I did exactly that, and I
sucked at it.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
I was terrible.

Speaker 8 (03:35):
We did hot yoga, Andrew and I. I've done yoga
plenty of times. Hot yoga is a completely different ball game.
I was sweating from places I didn't even know sweat
came from, like a knee cap. He had no idea.
My wrists were sweating. But it was awesome and I
feel really good today. I felt really good after and
even though I was probably the worst person in that class,
I'm gonna go back and do it again because I
like the way it feels.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
So I want to go with you. I want to
go with you. Really, let's do it. Yes, Okay, I'm
ready to be medium rare with Gandhi.

Speaker 8 (04:01):
Oh Man, get ready for the sweat that you didn't
even know. Andrew's shirt was see through after we were
done with this class, but it was great, and I
want to do it again.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
Sam took me to that one day and I never
went back the best feeling.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
I just want to try it. I'm gonna try it.

Speaker 8 (04:15):
It's great.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
The producer, Sam, what's up with you today?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
So I heard once that you raise your younger children,
but you raise yourself with your first. So if you
are dealing with a first child right now, like my
sister Dominice, who's daughters under two years old, I want
to remind you you're doing such.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
A great job parenting.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I've always no seems hard, but seeing my sister do
it is absolutely astounding. So happy Mother's Day. And sure
you feel like you're screwing up. That feels like part
of the job, but you're doing a great job.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, excellent, very very very nice praise. Danielle, is your
turn for around the room. I'm hoping you're going to
talk about what I think.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
You're going to talk about about last night, about.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Last night, because this morning when we walked in, she
was so alive about what happened to her last night,
and she said only got two hours a sleep, but
it was unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Go ahead, share with the class.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
So my friend Lauren, she has started something called Hearts
of Joy International, where children with Down syndrome a lot
of times have heart defects. That's one of the biggest
things about some of these kids, and in other countries,
they don't sometimes even know the child has Down syndrome,
let alone a heart defect, and kids were dying, and
she she somehow, her story is incredible. She found a

(05:26):
way to help these kids in all these other countries
and here in the United States. So we had a
fundraiser and a celebration of this organization last night, and
I got to meet families of kids with Down syndrume.
My sister was there because you know, my nephew Lucas
has it. And I have never experienced a community filled
with so much love that I experienced last night. They

(05:49):
are there for each other, They love each other. They
were laughing. The kids in the room that have Down syndrome,
they were laughing and smiling and having the best time.
The DJ DJ Joe, he has Down syndrome.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
He was party.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
He was amazing. There was a rapper who had Down syndrome.
He was on the stage rapping.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I mean, it was.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Incredible, the most amazing feeling I have ever had helping
so many people and it was just wonderful. So thank you, Lauren,
thank you Hearts of Joy International, because we had the
best time with the best people.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
So yeah, he Danielle, she was so skippy this morning.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
I met so many amazing people. I can't I have
such a list, I can't even talk about everybody.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Well, I'm glad you had a great time.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, and you know what down syndrome and also autism,
and there's so many things that affect kids whatever that
had been swept under the rug for so many years,
and now it's great to see them
