Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's go around the rooms, right, you can participate in
around the room. Oh okay, and I'll save you for
last because you'll figure it out when we get there.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
It could be about anything at all that's on your mind.
Gandhi will start with you. What's on your mind?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
I want to shout out a foundation that is very
close to my heart, The Broadcasters Foundation of America. We've
talked about this before. It's an amazing organization. If broadcasters
fall on tough times, and you know, in this industry,
it's tough to make money for most people, it's really
really difficult.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
So if you lose your job.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
If there's a hurricane, if anything happens, you're kind of screwed.
This foundation steps in and helps people out who are
in need in those times, and they're amazing. So if
you can go check them out Broadcasters Foundation dot org.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
It's great organization.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Have been weird part of it for many years, and
you Gandhi have really really really stepped up.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I'm the ambassador for them.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Yeah, to make me an ambassador. It's a great organization,
really really great. Scary. What's up with you today? What's
on your mind?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Well, today is the beginning of the sanjin Naro Feast
down in Manhattan's Little Italy, and just a public service
announcement to everybody who's Italian proud and flying those flags.
The stripes go green white, red, not red white green.
It drives me crazy because that's upside down green, white, red,
left to right. Okay, just letting it out.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Thank youk service announcement.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
He gets mad at me because I say, look, I
love going to the feces of San Gennaro.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I don't like eating anything there.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
I don't well, it's you know, it's sausage and Pepper's
Zeppealese fortune teller. Sausage and Pepper's fortune Teller.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
You know what I mean, Like miles of that, and
then the guy with the snake walks by, and then
you have the games you can't win at. Yeah, exactly,
do you know what I mean? But guess what we'll
be there. Hey, what's going on with you today?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Froggy? What's on your mind?

Speaker 6 (01:39):
So I feel like you're real idiot. So all week long,
I've been waiting for Amazon to deliver this package, and
every day I wait for it. I see the Amazon
truck in the neighborhood of my God's coming today. It's coming today,
It's coming today, and they hadn't hadn't come yet yesterday.
I'm like, what the hell's going on? When's this thing delivering?
It's been sitting in my cart since last Sunday. I
never hit order. It's so stupid. Please tell me about

(02:03):
the only person who's ever done that. You're not You're
not okay, good, thank you. I found some weird crap
in my cart last night. I must have been drinking.
She got there Amazon all stuff in there.

Speaker 7 (02:15):
Mine is an Amazon story too.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Well, let's go.

Speaker 7 (02:17):
So make sure you check your Amazon packages, especially if
you order multiple things and some things are small, because
this happened to me two times where the small thing
was also in the big box with the other stuff,
and I just thought it didn't come, and so I
threw the boxes away, and then I went online and
I said it was delivered. And then I looked and

(02:38):
I go, oh, it was delivered.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Was it?

Speaker 7 (02:40):
It was like little pins or something that I needed
for something, but I had to reorder it. But everybody
kept saying, just tell them you didn't get it, but
I said, I can't do that.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
It was in the box steal from grocery stores as
it right, it's.

Speaker 7 (02:51):
Different, so I didn't want to. I didn't want to
do that to my Amazon. So yeah, just check the
boxes because they put sometimes they put the tiny thing
in that big ass box with other things.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Three little words. Check your box.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Pay up.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Producer Sam Hi, what's up?

Speaker 8 (03:04):
So New York Fashion Week has come to a clothes
but I implore everyone to celebrate it all year. And
that doesn't mean you need to buy stuff. That doesn't
mean you need to care about any brands. All that
means is put on something that makes you feel like
you're stepping into your power.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Whatever that is funny what you're wearing today.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
I love style.

Speaker 8 (03:19):
I'm medium with fashion and a lot of people hate
my style, but I love my style, So just put
something on. I think it was Iris Appfule who said
you buy fashion, but you possess style.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
It matters what you wear.

Speaker 8 (03:29):
It will affect your vibe, so just feel mindful about it.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I love you.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Mentioned her she was a great lady. I got it finally,
almost finally straight in eight What's up with you?

Speaker 9 (03:36):
Okay, speaking of fashion, I was watching the movie last Night,
set during the Great Depression at what point, at what
year did overalls fall out of fashion with men? Because
every guy in that movie was wearing overalls and said they're.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Not very flattering. Yeah, I mean you don't get girls.
I know sometimes wear them for fashion. But you know
every guy in that movie had overalls on a function.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Well, you have no shirt on, they look.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
What you look like?

Speaker 5 (04:07):
No, shir.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah, why don't you grab grab a pair and wear
them to work one day?

Speaker 9 (04:14):
I think I'm gonna I'm gonna bring back overall single handed.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I'm sure people are looking to you for everything fashion,
for fashions future. And finally, our special guest on the
Around the Room segment coming up next with ask a
comedian goomba Johnny.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Well, I can only I don't even know why I'm
thinking this, but I would pass on something that my
mother would say to me all the time, and Carrie,
it stays with me for the rest of my life.
She would always tell me, Johnny, be grateful, be happy,
be kind, it's free.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Here you go, very nice. You had a very smart, kind,
loving mom who was thrifty. It takes no effort at
all to do all of the above. Yeah, and it's free.
And then you know, it's all a choice.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
And you know, my mother literally drilled that into my
head and it served me well for my life.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Well, thank you for sharing that, and thank you to
your mom. You're welcome Mom.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Thanks Mom.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
What are the three words again?

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Go, be kind, be grateful, and be happy.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It's free.
