Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show. Let's go around the room what's
on your minds? We'll start with Scary Scary. What's on
your mind today? It's scary. Actually he's doing something so
cool with his dad. Listen to this.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yeah, I want to thank our partners at the Wounded
Warrior Project. They're bringing my dad and his veteran friends
on the float today in the parade for Veterans Day,
and I'll be there as well.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
This is gonna be cool.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I can't wait for the I mean I'm getting chills
talking about it right now because my dad served in
Vietnam in the Navy and his friends also serve and
now The Wounded Warrior Project basically helps the warriors with
their mental health career counseling, long term rehab care for
the caregivers, the vets and their families.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
It's an amazing organization.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Learn more about it if I go to Wounded Warrior
Project dot org And obviously they can always use some donations,
but learn about it, especially on a day like today. Absolutely,
and thank you honoring Scary and Scary is in the parade.
Scary loves of Yeah, I've been in a lot of parades,
but not one like this.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I'm very proud. This is great. You're and you're actually
gonna be there with your dad and his friends who served.
I love it. I love it. Thank you, Scary Danielle.
What's up with you?
Speaker 2 (01:10):
To? So?
Speaker 3 (01:11):
I did something really cool this weekend with my mom,
my sister in law, my sister. We did a girls
night out type of weekend. So our friends at and
Juliet the most amazing Broadway show. Oh my gosh. If
you haven't seen that, you have to. It is so
much fun. They have like this really cool partnership with
the Refinery Hotel in New York City, and yes, they
are a partner of ours. And what you do is
(01:33):
if you book with the Refinery Hotel, you get all
these extra perks if you want to book them, like
to go see and Juliette, to maybe have dinner at
their beautiful rooftop restaurant, hair and makeup for going out
in New York City. And it's all these little package
deals and extras that you can add in. So it
is just so much fun. If you have a bachelorette party,
(01:53):
maybe you're interested in doing or just a fun weekend
with your family. It is awesome. I'm going to actually
post the link on my Instagram story so that you can,
you know, check it out. But it's really cool. So
and if you've never seen Girls' Night Out, I'm girls.
If you've never seen and Juliette, I'm telling you it is.
It is so fantastic. Second time seeing it, and I
can't wait to see it at their time. I love
(02:14):
it very much.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Question for you, Danielle, when's last time you just stayed home?
When you know?
Speaker 3 (02:18):
I told you if I sit down too long, I
fall asleep. So we just can't do that.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Mostly sleep, Danielle, We keep going. She keeps going, she said, right,
something's chasing her. If you stop, it'll catch her. Whatever
it is. Hey, Gandhi, what's on your mind today?
Speaker 4 (02:32):
All right, it's Veterans Day, so of course, Happy Veterans
Day to everyone. I wanted to send a Happy Veterans
Day to Brandon. I don't think he's listening right now,
pretty sure he's working, but Happy Veterans Day. Hug them,
thank them, give him a hug, some love.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Whatever it is, but.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Don't forget that today you can also get tons of
discounts and free food if you are a veteran, So
go online and look up the places near you that
are offering that stuff and take advantage. Yeah, you've earned it.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
I love it. I'll come up with a little list
for you in a second. I think I have one. Froggy.
What's on your mind today?
Speaker 5 (03:02):
Yes, once again, Happy Veterans Day to all of our veterans.
Thank you for our freedom. And also I want to
mention prayer today.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
For my mother.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
My mom is having back surgery this afternoon about one o'clock,
and she is extremely worried. She's very scared. I have
never seen her like this, but I think everything's going
to go great. She hasn't been able to walk for
quite some time and she's got some lower lumbar fractures.
But today they're going in and going to do some
work and hopefully when all is said and done, she's
(03:31):
able to get up and move around again. So prais
for my mom today. Good luck Mom.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
I love her, and you know what, and she's a lovely,
lovely lady. That's the lovely side of Froggy. He gets
from his mind and the cantakeri'us sight. He gets from
his dad. But you know what, they can pull some
miracles these days in the theater of surgery, and your
mom's in great hands and she's on her way to
good things. Hey, producers saym what's on your mind today?
Speaker 6 (03:56):
I don't want people to minimize their contribution to things. Yes,
it is Veteran's Day for the millionth time today. And
my grandfather, my late grandpa, used to be a cook,
and every year when we'd wish him a Happy Veterans Day,
he would dismiss being a part of anything because he
was quote just a cook. And I just want to
remind him and everyone else, you aren't just a cook.
(04:17):
You really served an important part. So Happy Veterans Day,
a little extra to everyone who usually dismisses that greeting
because they don't think.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
They contributed enough. Like my grandpa. My grandpa was a
chef too. Maybe they cooked to the other one. Isn't
that crazy?
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:31):
He was?
Speaker 1 (04:32):
And Uncle Johnny was too, who they all knew each other.
He's so crazy, Uncle Johnny. They used to call him
Mama Marino because he made the best spaghetti for the troops.
Speaker 7 (04:43):
I love that, Hey producer, Nate Weenel, Okay, never give
up on your dreams. So if you stayed up late
enough to watch the ending of the Droit Lions game
last night, they won thanks to a kick thanks to
Jake Bates. And one year this guy was selling bricks
in Houston and now he's kicking the game winning field
(05:04):
goal in.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
An NFL game. Wow.
Speaker 7 (05:07):
Yeah, So just never give up on your dreams and
just keep trying, just keep plugging away, do whatever you can,
because you never know if that dream will come true.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
You know, somewhere there was a professional football player who's
a kicker whose dream is to sell bricks. Maybe maybe
you never know. You never know. Everyone has a dream. Ah, well,
thank you so much
