So if you're wondering why the show has sounded a
little differently of late, I will tell you what is
going on here. And I want to make this a
group discussion. It's a family meeting. Here we go. We

had a big old party last Saturday, was it Saturday? Yeah? Yeah,
celebrating my birthday surprise. We had one hundred and something
people there. I had no clue. I had no clue.
It was the best kept secret. My husband Alex really
did a fantastic kick ass job with our friend Mikey
Russo in putting this this party together.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
It was a rager.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Oh it was, well, what happened to that party? And
we know pretty much for a fact what happened at
that party, Samuel, Okay, if we talk about this, oh
yes please, Okay. Was a lot of us got COVID.
A lot of us. Out of the fifteen people who
worked for this show, ten of us head COVID from

that party. Actually, Danielle, can we talk about it, yeah,
daniel Danielle had COVID before the party.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
So I came back from a trip with COVID, was positive,
wound up not coming in and didn't go to the
party because I was afraid that I was going to
get blamed for sparating COVID. So I didn't go to
the party.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
You should have come, because we hadn't anyway we had
of course, you can't see it, so we didn't know
at the time there was COVID going around, but it
was massive, and we're finding out from a lot of
the guests that were there they got it too. Look,
you know, and it's silly to play that game where
you know this person got it because of that person,
or I got it. It's a part we don't one
hundred percent know anytime someone has COVID or you get

COVID where it comes from or why we're pretty dard.
Sure a lot of it happened at that party. I
found out yesterday. I found it every day. I find
out every day from friends. Oh, we didn't want to
say anything in case you didn't get it. I know
what we all had it. I had it. I was home,
I'm still home. I'm negative now, Scotty, I'm not going
to say, did I say everyone who's had it Scotty didn't, well,

because I want to talk about that too. So the
people who had it, I know Froggy had it, his
wife Lisa had it, I had it, Nate had it,
and let's see producer Sam, did you have it?

Speaker 5 (02:46):

Oh yeah, and did Diamond had Josh Josh Abby had it.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
But what our group chat was nothing but positive tests exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It was insane. So but yeah, so Gandhy and Andrew
and uh oh, Garrett had it too. Yeah, Garrett had
But Gandhi, and Andrew and Deanna and uhho else didn't
have it.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Scary Now, Diana wasn't there, so she didn't. She had
something else that night, so she didn't come.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
To the book. She didn't come to the super spread,
so we all, we all, most of us had it.
It was just it was insane.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
It was like wildfire. I have never and it was
such a good reminder too, like, yes, the pandemic is
over and all of that, but this stuff still spreads
really quickly. I mean, I've never seen something like that
in my lifetime, ripped through a little population like that,
and everyone trying to hide it like it's just it's
a respiratory virus, an d from a crack or not.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
And if you have, if you are like you have
the political stick up your ass and don't want to
talk about it because you think it's just a cold,
well okay, maybe it was. I mean it's a flu.
It's a cold. It's what it is. Right, We're not
saying it's anything different, but it is. And we all
got it, and we proof positive we got it. And
you know what, if you start getting I'm blocking people,

lifting right on, go f yourself. This thing is real.
And we some of us got really really sick. And
it really was COVID.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
It was like something out of a science fiction movie
like Bam and the Whole Party. I mean, thank god,
it wasn't a bola. It was this and we know
what we're doing, but it was like, wow, watching how
quickly that thing moved.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Was fascinated and and and and that's it. And I
mean we can continue that, but I mean we got it.
We are over it. And that's it's it's what it is.
It's a way of life. Like what's that, Danielle.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
We were saying that even during the height of the pandemic,
it had not affected this show as much as it
did this time, which is crazy.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Well, I'm still never had it.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
We think your patient zero, he comes into your hacking
and gagon and then ten days later we'll send us
a test, like I'm gonna.

Time this time around. I tested twice.

I never had any symbols.

Your tests were they didn't really look like real tests.
We're wondering where you got that from.

Yeah, I bought it.

At the same pharmacy that everyone else buys theares at.
It's just I bought the one from the counter. Then
yells trying to say that's a cardboard cutout. Johnny's like,
I want real time. I want to see the swab
because I.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Know scary He's not gonna get that swab of man.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Okay, we're moving on. This is not too scary, never
against COVID check. I'm just saying it's real. It happened
to us, and you know, some of us missed a
few days here and there, and uh, maybe someone has
a resurgence of it. You know, I don't know. I'm
not gonna say, but it's here. And I will tell
you though in our building, a lot of people that
weren't even near the party got it. I mean, it's there.

There's a lot of it's going around.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
People in my circles, you know, outside of work that
ended up getting sick, that had no connection with us.
For that party, it must have just been this massive
wave that for whatever reason, there's other news in the headlines,
did not make it into the into the media exactly.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
But I will say this, unless you've lost a loved
one because of COVID or complications thereof it's a different thing.
But this time, I mean it hit hard. A lot
of us got it, and some of us were sick.
But we're moving on. You know. It's just it's just
a way of life. It's like, okay, whatever, what are
you gonna do? You know, It's it's not like oh god, no,

So if you want to brush off and say, oh,
it's just to come and cold. Okay, well we kind
of treated it like that. We know, we stayed away
from each other. We stayed you know, we don't want
to get anyone sick. And no, we're back, we're going,
we're good. You know, we're ready for another round.

Speaker 4 (06:44):

Yeah. But you know, if you're gonna be one of
those people who are going to make people feel like
they're an idiots because they had COVID, well you're stupid,
you really are, You just stupid?

So many people said, what did you guys even test?
I'm like, because we wanted to do the right thing
and we thought it was the right thing to do,
so we weren't going to spread it to other people.

Yeah, and I'm not going to listen to your stupid malarchy,

But people, but I've noticed that, you know, interested in
the conversation. Some people just get so mad that you
even think that COVID exists. They get mad at you
you're an idiot. Just I didn't want you to just

understand that. We all understand COVID is a thing. You're
listening to a show that is COVID full. We are
the proof people, so I'll start giving us your theories.
You're not a scientist. You think you know it all
because you read something on x Twitter whatever the hell
it is. No, you don't know. Crap, Get out of here.
We were sick and we're doing okay, but I will

say we're not. I don't think we treat COVID like
we used to. It's like, okay, got it done, Okay,
move on. But I wanted you to know where we
were and why we weren't here, and you know there's

It's you know? So I got it. I think I
was the last one in our work circle here to
get it. And I went to the grocery store to
get groceries, you know, and I'm wearing a mask because
I'm like, all right, I'm going to be home for
the next few days. And it's it's sad now that
it's reversed, like I was wearing a mask and people
were looking at me like I had two heads, and I'm.

Like, I'm trying to do the right thing here.

Where before if you didn't wear a mask, people looked
at you like you had two heads. So just be smart.
People don't get other people sick. Seriously, it's it's so
stupid that we have to have a conversation about how
we feel.

COVID exactly, coronavirus. No one calls it that anymore. It
gives it more flavor. And the COVID nineteen nineteen is
