Speaker 5 (00:12):
I love you guys. Oh my god, I listen all
the time to you guys.

Speaker 6 (00:17):
I love it so much.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I love your show news too.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
It every morning when I go to work, I go
to work only just to listen to you guys.

Speaker 7 (00:25):
I need help it baby, Good morning show.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
This is Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
This is Thursday, January twenty third, twenty twenty five. Hello,
oh no, hey, welcome to the day. It's Food News Thursday.
Froggy is all giddy. He's doing cartwheels across the studio.
He's so excited about about food news. Any headlines today

(00:58):
you want to share with us?

Speaker 8 (00:59):
All right?

Speaker 5 (00:59):
No, I am going to keep everything close to the
vest today. Okay. Hey, uh so I told Froggy he
has the uh he has the vote for first song
of the day. What do you want to hear? Let's
give me a little bit of DJ Snake Justin Bieber.
Let me love you. Oh my god, whatever happened to
DJ Snake?

Speaker 6 (01:18):
It's his year. This year is the year of the Snake.
Maybe he'll research Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
I love you. See if I say it, it sounds creepy.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
I think it was the way you just said it.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Let me love you.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
If Justin Bieber says, it's like, oh okay, it's Justin Bieber. Yeah,
go ahead, he's sexy. Love me. Oh hey, did you
see those photos of him sitting outside with his underwear
and his underwear?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Did?

Speaker 5 (01:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:39):
All right, they don't think those things. What we're not
supposed to think those I know, But in my head,
he's still the little one who made that Christmas album.
I don't know why I can't see past.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
You see the psychology here, Danielle. Yeah, is you don't
want to think of him that in that way because
you think of him as a little boy. The thing
is it really addresses how you've aged. Yeah, you know
what I'm saying. When you let's say you go look
at it and remember that you just have your books
in high school. Yeah, you would look at pictures of
everyone and go then you see them in today's light

(02:13):
and they're like they look awful. Yeah, Well, the reason
they look awful to you is because well, you've aged
the same amount of moments they have. I guess you
look awful. I'm not saying that.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
I don't think people age at the same rate. There's been,
there have been something act you're right opposite.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
But Justin Bieber is always going to be a hands
off for you.

Speaker 9 (02:32):
Yeah, because I hear like, you know, that's one of
my favorite Christmas albums and when he made it, he
was like this little kid. Maybe if he redid the
Christmas album. Now as an older Justin Bieber, I feel different.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Yeah, as long as he doesn't use the word shoddy, Hey, shoddy. Anyway,
let's move on with the day. I'm just insulted. Daniel
said she's aging. I didn't mean that.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
I don't take any offense at Its.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Fine, Roberto, welcome to the show. Good morning, and when
what's going on with you? Roberto?

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Oh my gosh, good morning guys. I'm so excited to
be talking to you guys. I can't believe I'm on
the air right now. I love all you guys that
have to say real quick, Gandhi Danielle Froggy Scotti, Oh
my gosh, I can't believe it.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
While telling me said, Hi, please hold all right, moving on,
bring him back, bring it back.

Speaker 10 (03:20):
No you don't like me, of course, he was so excited.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Ok, okay, okay, we're gonna give Roberto another chance. Hey,
I hear a rumor of Roberto that you, because of
what you do for a living, you like to you
have to drive a lot. Right, You're you're on the
roads a.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Lot, that's correct. Yeah, I'm all over the tri State.
I was telling Diamond yesterday. I was up in up
state New York over Ellenville. This morning, I'm driving to Philadelphia.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Tomorrow.

Speaker 11 (03:46):
I expect to be.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
In Riverhead, Long Island. So I'm all over the place.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Wow, you know what your territory is, our territory if
you think about it. I mean, we are doing a
show everywhere. You just mentioned upstate Philly. I'm sure they
can give us a little love and Riverhead. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Actually, you know what, I'm always listening. I'm sorry, I'm
always listening on the iHeart radio apps. So no matter
where I go, I'm always hearing you go.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
Oh my god, you're like a You're a poster boy
for us for our show. I love you, converto Hey,
so what do you do what are you doing on
the road every day?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
So I work for an LED lighting company. We do
industrial and commercial grade LED lighting. So I'm a surveyor.
I go out to the properties beforehand and I get
the information that needs to be collected to do retrofitting
for these old buildings to have old lakes.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Wow, well we could use you here. Yeah, actually we
have LED lighting. But whoever put it in is kind
of they're idiots. But can I talk about lighting for
a second. So a good friend of ours, Dennis Clark,
who lives in Los Angeles, He's like, you know what
I miss? I miss the old light bulbs. You can't
buy them anymore. There are a lot of states that
it's illegal to buy the old school light bulbs. You

(04:57):
know what I'm talking about, Roberto, Right, it's.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
An old technology. It's very wasteful with energy and everything
is now green initiative.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
I know it's true, but we look better in those
light bulbs.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
So we found we found a box of these old
what do you what do you call them? Incandescent or
whatever else? Yeah, we found we found a box for
sale on eBay and we bought it and sent it
to our friend Dennis, who lives in California, which is
like these states that always you know, they take a
stand against anything that's bad for the world and environment.
Like these light bulbs. Whoever found them and and accepted

(05:35):
delivery on them, they took a baseball bat out and
beat the box. They wouldn't let them use his old
school light bulbs. They're in there. You can't buy them anywhere.
But we do look better in that light. I mean,
if you can perfect led lighting to make us look
a little better, Roberto, then you will win some sort
of prize.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
You guys look great, no matter why. I know how
all you guys look, and you guys are fabulous. I
love each and every one of you.

Speaker 6 (06:03):
Nice guy.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
We need to keep you in our back.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Can I mention one thing? I'm so sorry so Danielle.
Everyone knows Danielle's lap is one of the best laughs
ever to mankind, and it brings so much joy to me.
But there's another laugh on your show that equally brings us,
and that's from Froggy Froggy. When whenever I hear Froggy
cracking up in the background, or I hear shout out

(06:28):
like a wad like here's something ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
He starts.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
He gets me going so much. I love all of
you guys, all my friends. I can't help you know.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
For a fact, if you hear Froggy laughing, someone said
something like X rated exactly what they talk about. Duty.
Let's if you can do it, Hey, Foggy Duty.

Speaker 12 (06:52):
There you go.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Hey, what do we have for Roberto. We're gonna load
you down, Roberto. We're gonna be the give you the
full Elvis Strat apparel line thanks to Hackensack in health.
And the next time you're driving you get taking along
another friend, Wendy. She'll be sitting in the seat right
next to you in the form of the fifty dollars
Wendy's gift card. How about that?

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Oh my gosh, Nate, you're the best too. I have
to say, Nate, you're kind of like my man crush.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Okay, well, I'll keep going on the prizes here, Roberto, congratulations.
Oh we love and we love that you love. I mean,
this is a creepy thought looking over and seeing Wendy
in the car with me. Hey, that's hot. Yeah, nice
red pig tables anyway or whatever those things are. We
got to run hold on Roberto, and thanks for listening

(07:34):
to us. What a nice guy. Jeez.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
We should keep his number when we're feeling down.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Yeah, well, okay, so we'll call him every day. Yes,
we need to. We need to get go into the
three things we need to know from Gandhi. Then the
Thursday is ours. It is food news Thursday. We've got guests,
We've got all sorts of stuff going on. We'll get
into in a minute. All right, Gane, what's up? Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
President Trump is defending the almost fifteen hundred pardons given
to defendants charged in connection to the January sixth capital attack,
saying most of the people were absolutely innocent and that
they have served horribly a long time. When asked about
the fact that some were violent with police officers and
had a history of violence previous to the six attacks,
Trump said it would be very, very cumbersome to go
through all those who were charged. The historic winter storm

(08:15):
that brought record breaking snowfall to Florida is moving toward
the Carolinas. The storm, which began in Texas, covered the
northern Gulf Coast with snow, sleet, and freezing rain, impacting
areas unaccustomed to weather like that. The storm caused dangerous
below freezing temperatures across the region and led to closure
of many highways, including over one hundred miles of Interstate
ten in Louisiana and Florida. Florida recorded snowfall that shattered

(08:39):
its all time record of four inches, which was set
back in nineteen fifty four. Pensacola got nine inches and
nearby Milton got ten inches of snow in Florida. That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
God.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
And finally it's snowing in Florida, and this seems fine.
It's fine. We'll start twenty twenty five off with a bank.
And finally, you might want to take to look at
your iPhone and think about selling it if you did
not uninstall TikTok, because they are listed four thousands of
dollars on eBay, if you have a phone that still
has TikTok on it, because you can't download it from
the outstore anymore. Apparently if you have it, you have it,

(09:14):
so after a brief ban in the US, people who
deleted or never downloaded it have been left in the
dark because it is not available at Apple and Google
app stores in the US. Some iPhone users who kept
it are now selling those phones. One eBay user in
Florida listed a phone it's a fifteen Promax with TikTok
for ten thousand dollars or best offer. Other phones are

(09:35):
listed between five hundred dollars or twenty five thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Sea, I don't know. Tell me if this is right
or wrong. Frog, that's poppycock. You shouldn't do that because
as the phone updates itself, it's these these appstated update
as well, and it's not going to interrect. It's going
to stay the same forever. And I don't know.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
This is so funny to me because people are acting
like this is some type of hardcore drug. I need
my TikTok twenty five thousand dollars. I don't care.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
If everything in the world is updating and it's not,
that can be a problem. It's like scary s wardrobe.
It's just never updates.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
He's spicy this morning.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
You always look good at it. You always look good
in that member's only jacket.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
Alway, Wow, you got too much. Sleeper started the caffeine
too early because he came in this night.

went wrong the first I don't know about that. Hey,

I saw her in mulan Rouge last year, and it
was amazing.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
She came to visit us, didn't she? Yeah, right before.
Oh my god, I have no memory whatsoever. This is
a great thing about losing your mind. It's a new
day every day.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
Everything's exciting.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
Oh yeah, it was like it's like Elvis. She wore
that jacket every day, do I I just I've never seen.

Speaker 7 (12:41):
It before, Like a little goldfishes swim around the bullet.
It's all new.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Oh no, look at that. There's that treasure chest.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
He's still not here causing trouble. No, no, you forgot that.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Jojo wasn't Mulau Rouge. And this new song. I wish
I could hear a piece of it. Where there you go?
Is this it right here?

Speaker 11 (13:02):
Oh that's the whole thing.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Oh my god, can I take the whole thing? Ready
to love Jojo. She's hearing less than two hours, all right,
so Jojo, I love love that song.

Speaker 12 (13:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
Usually they say it takes one or two, at least
two listens to actually get into it. I get that, yeah,
feeling it. Yeah. Also, you know when is Lola Young
going to be on the show tomorrow? Okay, Lola Young
is going to perform for us. Have you heard Lola Young?

Speaker 1 (13:36):
No?

Speaker 5 (13:36):
You know we're playing one of her songs here on
Z one hundred. I know that she was on fallon
the other night, the tonight show. She was she's got
that voice. And when I say that, where is it?
Do you have it right here? Right there? When I
say she's got that voice, listen to the voice, You'll go,
oh my god, it's that voice. All right, I'm gonna

(13:57):
leave it right there. You know what she when she
performs for you, you may hear. You may hear a
little more. I've heard other cuts from her that where
she belts a little more. She's great anyway, So Lola
Young will be on the show tomorrow. Fabulous Teddy Swims
is going to be here Monday, Teddy Swims on our show.
But what do we do to deserve that? I'm so excited.

(14:19):
It's going to be in the room with you guys today.
Oh that's nice, I miss frog. Yeah, when are you
coming up to see us when it's above ten degrees?

Speaker 13 (14:27):
Yes, yes, you're gonna need to get at least the
temperature needs to be higher than the speed.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Money. That'll be nice.

Speaker 7 (14:33):
It's asking a lot.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
Yeah, I know. I agree. It looks it's still twenty
nine here. I agree you.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
Yeah, so what's the difference seven nine?

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Yesterday?

Speaker 13 (14:43):
I was driving home. I was talking to Night. It
was like one o'clock in the afternoon. It was thirty
five in Florida. I'm like, what in the hell is
going on? Like, yeah, something's.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Broken, we need to fix hell is freezing over. And
then Froggy had to stop and get gas and he's like,
how do you do this that the clicker is not working?
I have to stand out. You're going to hold this
thing in because the clicker's not working on the gas.
Oh the little little hope, Yeah, I.

Speaker 13 (15:04):
Think it holds. It was broken. Moved to New Jersey.
It's full service gas.

Speaker 12 (15:09):
Right.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
People are like, you can't even pump your own gas.
You're day right here in nine degree weather. It's all good.
We got to get into horoscopes. I know it's Thursday,
so I'm assuming you're doing these with Froggy.

Speaker 10 (15:19):
Oh MYOSIDU would never not have Froggy do it.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
All Thursday'd you have for dinner last night, Samantha?

Speaker 10 (15:24):
I treated myself. I got this big like sushi order.

Speaker 14 (15:27):
It was delicious. I want nuts on that sushi. I
don't even know what it is. I just made a
fancy order and just kept shoving the fish in my mouth.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Amen, honey, Amen, Hey, let's do it. Let's go all right.

Speaker 13 (15:37):
If you are born on January twenty third, happy birthday,

would have.

Speaker 10 (15:50):
Been John Hancock, but he's long gone.

Speaker 13 (15:52):
He's gone. Yeah, he's not having a birthday. Capricorn. You
are pressuring someone into something that they don't want to do.
Back off, or you're gonna boat suffer the consequences your.

Speaker 14 (16:01):

couple of songs from her. We got to talk to her.
What's what's she up to? So excited to have her in.
It is another cold, another cold, cold day here in
New York City. It is what we woke up in.
How cold was it this morning? Scary? It was eighteen degrees. Oh,

(18:32):
it's warm it up?

Speaker 6 (18:32):
It says thirteen over here?

Speaker 5 (18:34):
Yeah, no, well no, maybe it's your cold heart.

Speaker 15 (18:37):
Yes, could be that cold cold?

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Only thirteen right here where I'm sitting. I'm not approach.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Well, I'm sorry. What this just in? Yeh, scary? It
went down, it went How does it go down when
it does that? It does that every morning, it always
it always goes down in the morning. You know that.
I mean, who doesn't. The son's gonna be here soon,
You don't.

Speaker 6 (18:57):
It's always ducks before the dawn, it does it.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
It typically gets colder in the morning. You know that. Hey,
we got a text here, Froggy. I know you were
a part of the horoscope situation a moment ago. Yeah, Elvis,
can you please repeat the horoscope for Libra bad morning.
As soon as the Libra came up, somebody cut me
off and I started yelling at them and cussing and

(19:20):
cussing them out, and I missed my horoscope. I can't
start my day with that morning. What's going on? Hey,
you know you got to slow down that road rage,
otherwise you're gonna miss your horoscope and your exit. Maybe,
So what is Libra's horoscope for today?

Speaker 13 (19:33):
This might be kind of fitting. Actually, I said, time
may have passed, but if it's still bothering you, dealing
is better late than never.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
You're day's in eight all right, there you go. And
by the way, that's the only one we're gonna repeat.

And also at Elvis Duran's show on Instagram. Okay, yeah,
go there now.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
I would like a repeat of Sagittarius because I missed that.

Speaker 5 (19:55):

Speaker 5 (19:58):
Elvis Duran's show on Instagra that's where you find it. Fine,
And I think we're actually gonna start I'm gonna start
playing the video stream of us doing the horoscopes at
least other things. Are we starting that today?

Speaker 12 (20:10):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (20:10):
What does the video stream make the horoscopes more believable, reliable.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Yes, it does.

Speaker 7 (20:17):
If you see our faces.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Well, i'd love to see you Danielle telling me about
Leoh okay, for instance, I'm okay, she's credible. All right,
let's go to Danielle. What do you have going on today?
All right?

Speaker 9 (20:27):
Well, as you know, the iHeart Radio Music Awards are
set for March seventeenth. The awards are going to be fantastic.
Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen lead your nominations with ten nominations. Apiece,
Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Saprina Carpenter are all tied for
second with nine each. Lady Gaga will be honored with
a special award, the twenty twenty five iHeartRadio Innovator Award,
and that celebrates an artist's impact on music as well

(20:50):
as culture. You've got Mariah Carey who will receive the
iHeartRadio Icon Award as well, and Taylor Swift we'll get
a new award for Tour of the Century for her aerostour.
It's all going down March seventeenth, eight pm Eastern Time
on Fox, and of course we'll have it here on
all your iHeart stations.

Speaker 7 (21:07):
For you, So it's going to be a great show.

Speaker 9 (21:10):
Bruno Mars says that he really wants to make another collab.
I mean his collab right now with Lady Gaga is
doing incredibly well, so he is trying to get Sexy
Red to collab with him. He said he wants to
do a strip club anthem. He's all about it. He's
all ready for it. So we'll see what happens. And
he's hoping that Sexy Red will reach out. We'll see

(21:31):
what happened. In sinc they went to see Justin Timberlake.
They surprised him at his January twentieth concert and everyone
was there except for our boy Joey Fatone. Now we
know why Joey wasn't there. He's on Broadway doing and Juliet,
so he's a little busy right now. So it was
very funny though, because Timberlake said, yeah, you guys did

(21:51):
the right thing by leaving Joey home.

Speaker 7 (21:53):
That was great, you know.

Speaker 9 (21:54):
And then of course they went back and forth on
social bantering and everything like that, but very very cute
and it was nice to see all the boys back together.

Speaker 7 (22:01):
Lincoln Park has.

Speaker 9 (22:02):
Announced they're doing an a Cappella Vocals only version of
their latest album from Zero.

Speaker 7 (22:08):
They're releasing it tomorrow.

Speaker 9 (22:10):
It will feature the band's new lead singer, Emily Armstrong,
and it will also be accompanied by a bunch of
other really cool things, new versions and stuff. And then
they have the new version of the album released in November.
I don't know if you got it, but it was
So it's just gonna be really cool and if you
are a Lincoln Park fan, it is something very different
to get your hands on. So you would think if
Lynn Manuel Miranda called up somebody and said, hey, I

(22:33):
want to be in this a movie, a Broadway show,
they'd be like, oh my gosh, are you kidding me?
This is like having you know, an kon. This guy's
something that didn't happen with Wicked the movie. This is crazy.
So he wanted to be in Wicked the movie. He
wanted a specific part. If you've seen the movie, you
know in the beginning there is a citizen of munchkin

(22:53):
Land who says, is it true you were her friend
to Glinda Ariana Grande's character, And that's the part that
Lynn Manuel Miranda wanted.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
That's as far as I got in the movie. Is
that really I saw that way.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
John m Two, who is your director, said no.

Speaker 9 (23:08):
He said I didn't give it to him because I
thought a Miranda cameo would be too distracting. Yeah, you
think so, maybe that soon in the movie it would
have been distracting.

Speaker 7 (23:17):
Maybe if we waited till later. But that's the part
he wanted. He didn't get it.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
You couldn't just give him a ton of makeup and
we didn't know it was unrecognized.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (23:26):
I don't go.

Speaker 9 (23:27):
Jason Derulo told the son that I am working on
writing different films. He said he's written three already. He
wrote a comedy. He said, he's written a sort of
Marvel style movie and a Christmas movie. He doesn't know
which one he's gonna do first, but he said, we
will see what I bring you.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
So that's exciting news. We love him.

Speaker 9 (23:44):
And the third season of The White Lotus is set
to kick off February sixteenth, care that is two plus
years after season two. We don't have season three yet,
but we've already been okayed for season four, So liszt
you know that that is on the way and Netflix
is giving us as Love is Blind for two more seasons.
So I know a lot of us in here are
excited about that.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
How many of us are excited.

Speaker 7 (24:05):
About Gandhi's excited, Diamond's excited. Two people.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
I try my best with love is blind? I really did.

Speaker 6 (24:11):
I don't think you did, or else you would love it. Okay,
all right, all right, all right there, that's amazing. Oh
my gosh, And all we learn is love is in
fact not blind.

Speaker 9 (24:20):
Hollywood Squares on tonight second season premiere of Police twenty
four to seven. Also second season premiere of the Night
Agent Over on Netflix. And that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
You know, Nate, great idea you had doing our horoscopes
on a video stream. People are saying they love it.
This person says, I'm so excited for the horoscopes to
be last stream. But when Elvis does them, I want
him to wear a cape like Walter Mercado. Oh, Walter Mercato.
You remember him, Yes, from that he used to do

(24:48):
the psychic commercials or whatever, or horoscopes or whatever. I
don't know he did. Don't you remember he puts a
big cape on.

Speaker 12 (24:57):
Did you do it?

Speaker 5 (24:58):
You've seen it?

Speaker 12 (24:59):
Right?

Speaker 5 (25:00):
He was around years ago. Walter Murcatto They actually had
a documentary about what happened to Walter mccatto. You may
think Walter is a right time Walter. Absolutely, Walter definitely
definitely is a he man in my remember. Okay, yeah,
that's that's going way back. I know that. But there
is a great documentary about he may I don't know,

(25:23):
check him out. I don't know if he's still alive.

Speaker 10 (25:24):
But is it more?

Speaker 5 (25:26):
Yeahrcado, Oh just awesome, awesome dude, I mean, what a
life you lived?

Speaker 11 (25:33):
Yes, scary what I feel like when we do the horoscopes,
we all have to be wearing no stradamas hats and
have a crystal ball in front of us just for
the visual effect, no Stredamas.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
Hat almost like because you're predicting, can you get those
from Amazon? A specific? Isn't that they do?

Speaker 6 (25:49):
They do?

Speaker 5 (25:51):
Do you think you have some wizard of some sort? Okay?

Speaker 7 (25:54):
And it's like an old it is.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
Like an old beret for old.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
What are you?

Speaker 5 (26:02):
What do you do?

Speaker 6 (26:03):
What are you looking at the no Shradama's hat?

Speaker 5 (26:06):
Okay? Yeah, see look back to Walter Mercato.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
Yeah, oh, Walter Mercado had just a lot going on there.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
It says, I need makeup.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
You certainly do. You might need a hair piece of
some sort because there's a lot happening up there.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Yeah, alright, feather, judge.

Speaker 6 (26:21):
Judy things.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
I tell everyone, do a deep dive on Walter Mercado
and get back to me, because now it's time for password,
our favorite song. All right, so let's do password. You're
in charge of eight. What do you want to say? Okay, well,
we need somebody to play one. Eight hundred two two
zero one hundred. Get your mind in the gutter. Okay,
that's all. Almost the number eight went by too fast.

(26:43):
It's eight hundred two four to two zero one hundred.

Speaker 15 (26:48):
I love password, I like the music.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
Yeah, I'm gonna get a Walter Mercado cape. I can't wait.

Speaker 6 (26:57):
I like the Bedazzled Blazers.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
A little bit. Yeah, I think I have those already. Okay, anyway,
so call us now eight hundred and two four two
zero one hundred. Time for a password.

the VID?

Speaker 5 (28:30):
Well I know, but I think the person who brought
COVID to my birthday party on Staten Island was not
from Staten Island.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
I think it was the Floridians. I blame them, really.
I think it was because they were the first to
come down with the symptoms, and they were on planes,
and you know it's Florida. Florida's going to Florida.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Oh here we go. Uh yeah, it doesn't doesn't matter.

We do have Jojo on the way. She's gonna be
here in about an hour, right, all right? Love that
into the three things we need to know, Gandhi, what's
going on?

Speaker 7 (41:34):
All right?

Speaker 6 (41:34):
A brand new wildfire in southern California has residents on
edge once again. The Hughes Fire was reported Wednesday morning
near Castaic Lake, north of Los Angeles. At last check,
just over ten thousand acres had burned. A new fire
comes as crews continue to work on getting full containment
in the deadly palisades and eaten fires, which combined have
charred nearly forty thousand acres and so far claimed over

(41:57):
two dozen lives. Ultiple reports say that President Trump is
getting ready to send ten thousand troops to the US
southern border. An internal government memo reportedly says the troops
will help border patrol agents to shut off access to
asylum in the US and will use Department of Defense
bases to hold migrants awaiting deportation. Last night, the Defense
Department confirmed that it was sending an additional fifteen hundred

(42:18):
active duty troops to the southern border, on top of
the twenty five hundred service members already stationed there. And finally,
the Colorado Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo after they were sued by animal rights
organizations over the conditions of their elephants. The Non Human
Rights Project's lawsuit called for the release of five African
elephants at that zoo, arguing that the animals were being

(42:41):
held against their will, causing them stress, physical issues, and
brain damage. The suit cited habeas corpus, in which a
person has the right to be brought into court to
challenge their detention. The court ultimately decided that since the
elephants are not human, they can't apply for those rights
under the state's statute, no matter how cognitively, psychologically, or
socially SOFFICI dedicated they may be. And those are your

(43:02):
three things.

Speaker 5 (43:02):
I love a good elephant story, me too, I know.

Speaker 6 (43:04):
But that was not a good one. I like a
good one.

Speaker 5 (43:06):
Well it's well, I know, but it's a story of hope.

Speaker 6 (43:09):
It is.

Speaker 5 (43:11):
What an awful elephant story that one. Thank you for
that really awful elephant story.

Speaker 6 (43:16):
And on a low note, and those are your three things.

Speaker 5 (43:18):
Thank you, Elvis.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Duran, who want a piece of bread? Maybe you'll calm
down a little. And the morning show.

Speaker 5 (43:28):
I decided to show up today right now, Elvis Duran
in the Morning show, We're hiding Daniel wandered off.

Speaker 6 (43:37):
I just saw her. She was like right in front
of me when I was walking there here there she is.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
Seriously, I'm worried about you, but you just wander off.
I'm afraid you're just gonna leave and forget your address.

Speaker 9 (43:49):
I had to go to the bathroom, and then I
was talking to the wonderful lady who cleans the bathrooms
about some stuff.

Speaker 5 (43:54):
I know, But what about the wonderful show down the hall?

Speaker 7 (43:57):
You know the show pissed me off a little bit today.

Speaker 5 (43:59):
Well, you pissed the show off a little bit. To you.

Speaker 7 (44:01):
Guys are all wrong. It's okay you can't.

Speaker 9 (44:03):
Can I say that on our podcast because we can
talk about this on the podcast later.

Speaker 7 (44:08):
Make sure you listen.

Speaker 5 (44:09):
I'm exhausted.

Speaker 7 (44:11):
Well, because you're you guys are not one.

Speaker 5 (44:12):
I'm going to put one of those. I gotta put
like a little beacon on you so we always know
where you are.

Speaker 6 (44:17):
Air Tiger.

Speaker 7 (44:18):
I don't walk out of the room as much as
some older people need.

Speaker 8 (44:21):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (44:22):
I don't mind you walking out. I just need for
you to find your way back, maybe drop breadcrumbs.

Speaker 7 (44:26):
Or something I did on my way back.

Speaker 5 (44:29):
I know. But the song was ending, and then Gandhi's
in the other room petting Chris Diamond on the hair.

Speaker 6 (44:36):
No, I got the shoulder. I never touched the hair.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
I'm like, what are you doing? What is she doing?
I looked up at Nate. I said, Nate, where is everyone?
The song's over? She's petting Diamond. You're lost.

Speaker 7 (44:48):
I wasn't lost. I was in the bathroom.

Speaker 12 (44:50):
We have silver alert.

Speaker 5 (44:52):
What do you do?

Speaker 7 (44:54):
What's a silver alert?

Speaker 6 (44:56):
It's like the Amber alert, but for the elderly.

Speaker 7 (45:00):
You kiss my ad. I'm gonna say the word say that,
say that.

Speaker 5 (45:05):
I can't believe you know.

Speaker 7 (45:06):
I was going to say the other words the word
you said not to say.

Speaker 11 (45:12):
We should all wear these bracelets that vibrate. And when
it's time to come into the room, I was presses
the button and then everyone.

Speaker 5 (45:19):
VI, this isn't California Pizza kitchen.

Speaker 6 (45:24):
No, the studio taser. The studio taser comes into play.
Everyone's gonna be on time.

Speaker 5 (45:32):
How about we changed people to the desk. No, No,
people should be able to go to the bathroom. But then,
you know what, I have this thing because I've been
doing this for so long. Songs are an average three
and a half to four minutes long, and in my head,
I have this timer, and I you know what Scary knows.
When Scary opens the door to come find me, typically

(45:53):
I'm right out there walking in because for some reason,
I'm cursed with a timer in my head.

Speaker 9 (45:58):
So you know, well, we all kind of did it today.
You were late earlier, you I did it on purpose
I did too.

Speaker 5 (46:06):
Moving on, there's something kind of interesting going on. If
you're following trends in office space. People at the office
are deciding to become more secretive about their lives and
not sharing at work.

Speaker 6 (46:25):
That makes sense.

Speaker 5 (46:26):
Yeah, I'm not saying it's happening in this room, because
you know us, we know each other way too well.
But there's this report out. It was on the news
the other night. More than half of workers worldwide say
they hide aspects of themselves at work, which is way
up from last year. And things are more hidden in

(46:47):
North America than the rest of the world. Seventy percent
of us are secretive about our home life, be it
relationships that we're in drama with whatever at home. And
I don't know, if you walk into your office every
day as an open book, like, oh god, here's the
list of everything's going on in my life, doesn't happen

(47:09):
as much anymore. Because they're saying that people are using
their knowledge about you against you. Yeah, either through what
they feel is just idle gossip or fun gossip, or
to get you in trouble with management, saying well, she's
slipping with her position because she's got a lot of

(47:30):
trouble at home. Maybe I can take up the slack
and do their work, therefore undercutting them. And who's typing?

Speaker 2 (47:39):
I hear that?

Speaker 5 (47:41):
Oh, diamond, diamond, are you on diamond?

Speaker 15 (47:45):
How are you.

Speaker 5 (47:50):
So diamond? Let me ask you as an example on
our show. Do you find that you do keep things
close to the chest as far as your personal life
and you do share enough at work to be friendly
with people, but not your deepest, darkest Oh?

Speaker 7 (48:05):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 17 (48:06):
I try to be a vault sometimes, but then you know,
I start running my mouth when I get comfortable with people.

Speaker 1 (48:11):
Say it is what it is?

Speaker 17 (48:12):
But yeah, quiet, she's locked down, babes, you won't know
anyone I'm dating dating.

Speaker 6 (48:18):
She said she'll never post anything until she's actually married.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
I think that's probably a great idea, because you know
this behive. We're a bunch of hornets, you know we have.
The thing is, we're all such good friends here, we're family.
We pick on each other all the time endlessly because
we can, and we do. We all dog pile on
each other. You find out someone's weakness and you go
for it.

Speaker 12 (48:42):
Why do we do that?

Speaker 5 (48:43):
Because we love each other?

Speaker 6 (48:44):
Like sibling bullying as well?

Speaker 3 (48:45):
We do.

Speaker 9 (48:46):
Nobody else is allowed to do that. If anyone else does,
it will get.

Speaker 5 (48:49):
You exactly, don't you dare exactly. Look, it's it's a
great thing, especially in our business, in any business, to
be authentic, be yourself, speak your truth, you know, all
of those things at the same time, when you give
too much information and maybe you do it because you're
blowing off steam because you're having a bad relationship at home,

(49:10):
and or you're whatever, you know what you're you're letting
them into your life.

Speaker 6 (49:15):
Yeah, for sure. And there are times that people will
equate one thing with the other. So if you say
something to them, they don't like, all of a sudden,
it's like, oh, well, that person's miserable because and they're
very unrelated those two things.

Speaker 9 (49:27):
Plus, I feel like a lot of times, like we
all say, there's three sides to every story. So if
you're in a relationship and you have to fight with
the person and you bring it in, then the people
are going to only see that the next time they
see that person, and then you guys wind up making
up and you know, and you have this jaded thought
about that person.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
Right Also when it comes especially right now with the
political the political world as it is. You know, you
turn yourself into a lightning rod for all sorts of
things if you just, you know, have a parade every
day spouting off your political belief and things in the
office place, even though you want for some reason, you

(50:05):
think it's going to change someone else's mind about how
they feel about Let's say you do like President Trump
or you don't like President Trump. If you have a
little I hate President Trump down the hallways in your
office space every day, you truly are opening yourself up
for some issue. Yeah, of course, well, well I need
to let them know how I feel. I love President Trump.
I need to let them know how I feel either way. Okay,

(50:27):
you can do whatever you want, But to understand that
you're you're opening up for conflict. Do you really want
that at work? Is that really really where you want
to play your conflict card?

Speaker 6 (50:34):
Why are you looking at me?

Speaker 5 (50:35):
I'm looking at you that I'm looking at because you're
so beautiful and I can't take my eyes off of you.

Speaker 12 (50:43):
You know.

Speaker 5 (50:43):
Look, you know, it's so easy to define these divisions
we have between each other when it comes to politics
or anything. You know, at the same time, we all
share these things that I wish we could talk more
about that American dream that we all want to we
all want to achieve. You know, we all want that
American dream. We're finding different ways of finding it as

(51:06):
I look at everyone. Yeah, it's true, it's true. We
have so many things in common. We have more things
in common than we have not in common. But we
don't we don't swim in that in that lake enough,
I think. So there's that.

Speaker 6 (51:23):
Yeah, So should we start sharing more of our personal
lives around here?

Speaker 5 (51:27):
No, not at all, Haha, lock that down. I don't know.
It's weird. You go to work every day. The thing is,
you have to be there tomorrow. You can't skip a
day because you don't feel like talking about something, right,
You gotta go to work. You gotta produce, you gotta
work for the band.

Speaker 6 (51:43):
It's a weird dance here though, with our personal lives,
because we share so much about ourselves all the time
with each other, and then on the air that a
lot of times people think they're entitled to information about things,
and it's like, well, maybe in a certain way. Sometimes
you feel like they are because you're listening because we
have shared so much. So then when we hold back
it's it's an odd it's an odd thing.

Speaker 5 (52:01):
Yeah, well, I think there's just you. You decide carefully
what is worth it, what is not worth bringing it up?
Texts are coming in. I absolutely understand why people keep
private lives private at work. People gossip. I don't want
to be the next headline news at my work for sure.
Another text. I just had this conversation with my husband yesterday.
He likes to share. I don't talk to many people.

(52:25):
We work in the same office. So if her husband's
sharing in the office, then that's the same as she's sharing. Yes,
and there you go. Anyway, an interesting conversation, something to
think about as you're about to go to work and
just lay it all out on the counter for everyone
to know.

Speaker 7 (52:39):
Maybe don't do it?

Speaker 5 (52:40):
Maybe not. Hey, so we have a phone tap on
the way, not a free money phone deps, a free
phone tap. Jojo is coming in at what time? Less
than an hour? Excellent? Hey, what's up? This is a.

Speaker 12 (52:52):
Justin Bieber here.

Speaker 5 (52:53):
Hi, this is Elton Jump, this is Britney Spears. Elvis
in the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Ran the Elvis Durant's phone tappen.

Speaker 5 (53:06):
Scary. What's your phone tap about today?

Speaker 2 (53:08):
So?

Speaker 11 (53:08):
Daisha wants to phone tap her boyfriend Kwan. Daisha works
at a bank, and she keeps telling Kwan about some
nerdy guy at work.

Speaker 5 (53:15):
Who keeps hitting on her.

Speaker 11 (53:16):
So she thought it would be funny if she called
him from work and I pretended to be that nerdy guy.

Speaker 5 (53:21):
All right, nerdy guy played by Scary Well, there's type
casting for you. We'll see what happens in today's scary
phone tap.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
Hello, Hey, dude, is being real with me the points
as to looking do. He's like saying some stuff to
me that's like inappropriate.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
I watched what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (53:46):
I don't know if he likes me, but he just
you know, he just wanted me to go.

Speaker 5 (53:54):
I'm gonna go miss step out a little bit. I'll
get some salad.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
Want some salad with me? If you want to say
about and get his ass because I've knocked that man out.

Speaker 3 (54:02):
I'm on the phone on my boyfriend. Okay, could you
relax tell it.

Speaker 5 (54:05):
We'll just hurry up because we only have an hour
for lunch. I want to see if you want to
come to lunch with me?

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Send him on. The guy to need ten minutes. The
wool's ass. So that's fifteen minutes all the lunch.

Speaker 11 (54:14):
Your expression on your face right now, you're not happy
talking to him. He obviously doesn't please you me.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
Oh my god, don't please shut up?

Speaker 5 (54:23):
Man, I mean, come on, let's just go to lunch.

Speaker 2 (54:25):
Come on, hang up, this corny ass. Stop talking to
you while I'm just gonna stand here and wait.

Speaker 3 (54:32):
Oh my god, just stand here with his arms car Wait, why.

Speaker 11 (54:36):
Why don't we You and I we'll just have lunch.

Speaker 5 (54:37):
We'll go, we'll go in the vault. I want to
go in the vault and roll around.

Speaker 8 (54:41):
The Money's wrong with it too.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
Man, put me on the fault.

Speaker 3 (54:46):
He wants to talk to you.

Speaker 5 (54:48):
I'm Jordan with the good hair.

Speaker 2 (54:49):
Quit talking to my girl. Right, I'm doing the bet.
Don't talk to my girl anymore?

Speaker 5 (54:53):
What's bruhr?

Speaker 2 (54:55):
You ain't going here in the second, So I'm gonna
knock you out for quit talking to my girl.

Speaker 11 (54:59):
I've been on here Instagram and I've liked every one
of her pictures that she's ever posted.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
And if he looks, you're saying, what's her? He's playing
with me.

Speaker 12 (55:07):
Man.

Speaker 5 (55:07):
I don't like the ones with you in it. No,
I unhearted those I'm swear.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
I'm gonna take your heart and he's won't play with me. Man,
I swear on everything. I look, I'm gonna come up
there right now and I'm gonna knock your ass out.

Speaker 5 (55:17):
And we work in a bank. We have bulletproof glass
back here.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Okay, all right, Brett, if you don't stop playing with
your name, Jordan, Jordan Well and everything. I love Jordan.

Speaker 5 (55:25):
You know like number twenty three, you know him like
same guy.

Speaker 2 (55:27):
But I'm gonna put your ass in the face three times.

Speaker 5 (55:30):
I'm gonna I'm gonna pay somebody to fight you. I'm
in a bank right now. I got cash, I got money.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
You're gonna be on the floor in a second.

Speaker 11 (55:36):
Bro At work, we play around and she wrote me
a fake check that says, Jordan is Bay.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
Were you so corny? You are so cory right now?
You're corny and you wack it.

Speaker 11 (55:45):
I'm gona you tell that to everybody listening to the
radio right now. Hey, it's scary. Jones remembers to ring

I love your show in it every morning when I

Speaker 5 (57:04):
Your people are talking. Can you hush.

Speaker 1 (57:08):
Help it? Baby?

Speaker 5 (57:13):
Sorry, the morning Show.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (57:20):
Now you can talk. What were you bitching about while
they were doing their thing? Just then?

Speaker 6 (57:24):
All I want to do is eat my toast? Just
keeps being something we have to do.

Speaker 7 (57:28):
You dig on the air, you said, why can I
eat my damn toast?

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (57:32):
I did, Oh gosh, I just because you didn't say something.

Speaker 5 (57:34):
Else, right, Hey, So yeah, we do come in here
every day and do a show. Sorry about that. It's
in the way of your toast. Everyone else their toast,
why not? But you you what's scary.

Speaker 11 (57:45):
I have to agree with Gandhi. I can't eat cold toast.
Toast needs to be served hot, and you're working.

Speaker 5 (57:50):
This is your job. Oh my god, I'm sorry. I'm
gonna quit my career because it's in the way of
eating my hot toast from the toaster to the met
Thank you. Scary, Yeah, thanks, scary, it's not I'm sorry.
Oh god, okay, let me let me coddle you. I'm sorry, kitten.
You know the toast is in the wave of your career.

(58:13):
I'm sorry. The careers are the way of your toast.

Speaker 7 (58:15):
Yes, thank you for understanding. But how I have a
question about this to be seen. We all made the
toast at the same time. You were very kind to
share your toast, and I housed my toast. What were
you doing that you didn't eat your toast.

Speaker 6 (58:26):
There's a whole conversation in the kitchen about the stupid
microwave and what was going on and why again, somebody
had it set for twenty minutes, and then we figured
it out.

Speaker 5 (58:36):
We figured it out. He has it set for twenty
minutes it's on defrost.

Speaker 7 (58:38):
Yeah, it's still a long time to defrost something twenty minutes.

Speaker 5 (58:41):
Also, it's about right. Sometimes it depends on.

Speaker 7 (58:43):
How well did you see what it was?

Speaker 5 (58:45):
Yeah, it looks like dog vomit.

Speaker 6 (58:46):
No, it's a it's a frozen dinner. We watched the
person take it out of the frozen dinner thing, put
it on a plate, and then defrost it for twenty minutes.
When I thought you were just supposed to raw dog
frozen dinners to and just heat it up immediately.

Speaker 5 (58:59):
But don't use it raw dog and describing what was
on the frozen dinner it looked like a dog vomited
on a plate.

Speaker 6 (59:06):
Well, he's also monopolizing that microwave with the dog.

Speaker 7 (59:09):
Fifteen minutes is a long time for you to use
any microwave.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (59:12):
There you go. Hey, so I brought this up earlier.
I'm going to bring it up again. Pizza, I found
what I read online. You know, I mean I got
to stop reading online got books. If you're looking to,
you know, at the beginning of the year, looking to
make big changes in your life, Okay, I'm with you.
They're saying, we stick to the same pizza preferences for years.

Speaker 6 (59:36):
I think that's true.

Speaker 5 (59:37):
Okay, if we went out for pizza right now, you
and you had to order a slice, you would order
a mushroom mushroom, Yes, I love that. What about you say?

Speaker 1 (59:44):
Now?

Speaker 7 (59:44):
It depends on where we're going. For me, it's different.

Speaker 9 (59:47):
You know, I like my vodka slice, but normally in
a regular place, I want a Grandma slice.

Speaker 5 (59:52):
Okay, okay, but what ingredients are on the slice?

Speaker 3 (59:56):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (59:57):
Just like the isn't a Grandma slice the sauce on
top of Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:00:00):
So just plain, is what you're saying. Okay, which is
great a lot and a lot of people. The point
is is people do the same thing every single time. Sure,
I change mine up every single time. Really, short of
putting piet apple on there, I will never do that.
I love like I'll do pepperoni one time with some
hot honey. I'll do a plain another time. I'll do

(01:00:20):
sausage with mushroom another time, maybe a little black olive.
I change it up. But there's a lot of us
get in that rut where we order the same the
same toppings every time.

Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
I definitely do for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:00:31):
And by the way, I never knew what a Grandma
slice was till I moved to New York. It is
my favorite, and I got to get the corner.

Speaker 7 (01:00:38):
Oh yeah, corner is good.

Speaker 5 (01:00:39):
It makes great Grandma slices olive oil. They drizzle olive
oil on there and it gets all olive oily. It's good.

Speaker 7 (01:00:47):
And I don't know, I know it's flipped right. The
cheese and the sauce are flipped like you do.

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
Not necessarily, No, no you can't. Grandma is the style
of Oh, and then the stuff how you do the
topping is different.

Speaker 7 (01:01:00):
Place that I go to locally they have always like
the cheese first, and then they have a bleak glogbus of.

Speaker 5 (01:01:06):
Like the place in Brooklynomony Gardens.

Speaker 7 (01:01:12):
Yes, I'm so hungry, No, I mean too.

Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
Anyways, the point is this, look at all the options
you have when it comes to your pizza. I know
pizza is a comfort food, so sometimes because of that reason,
maybe you want it to be the same every time.
That brings the comfort. But you gotta mix that up,
maybe get some craziness going.

Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
I gotta fight with Froggy's dad once over eggplant pizza
because it's good because I like eggplant on my pizza
it's delicious, and we reach out somewhere are eating.

Speaker 9 (01:01:40):
Andy's dad was like, we're not ordering that. I'm like,
but I want, but why not?

Speaker 7 (01:01:45):
He goes, ah, he vetoed it, and I couldn't have
my egg plant pizza.

Speaker 5 (01:01:48):
See, you do do different things.

Speaker 7 (01:01:50):
Yeah, it depends on Like I said, it really does
depend where.

Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
But I but I don't.

Speaker 7 (01:01:55):
I don't think I'm as different as you are. Like
you're very you go all oust.

Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
I love everything different. What's scary?

Speaker 12 (01:01:59):
Scary?

Speaker 5 (01:02:00):
We got a very interesting opinion about pizza topping. We
need to outlaw peppers, onions, and mushrooms.

Speaker 12 (01:02:05):
Why.

Speaker 11 (01:02:07):
I'll tell you why. Because they render water when underheat
and now you got a soggy mess when it comes
out the other.

Speaker 5 (01:02:13):
No, see if they saw tell you the peppers and
onions and mushrooms a little bit, then the liquids out
of there. Well they usually thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:02:20):
Scary mushrooms are the best.

Speaker 5 (01:02:22):
I love mushrooms on pizza because I'm a fun guy.

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Hey.

Speaker 5 (01:02:25):
Hey, oh my god, holding against the wall and pull
my hair. Hey, I don't know what that meant, but
let's go. So you would Danielle, and this texture is right.
You love vodka sauce, and you have Grandma Pizza. There
is a drunken Grandma Pizza out there waiting for you.

Speaker 9 (01:02:43):
Oh yes, we had that from someplace. Didn't somebody bring
us the drunken yet.

Speaker 5 (01:02:48):
Drunk Grandma Scott? We have a drunk came from Phils
and thank you Phil.

Speaker 15 (01:02:53):
That's good.

Speaker 5 (01:02:54):
Also, someone says fig, I love fig and gargon zola
on pizza. It's a little bit, you know. You don't
don't want a too pungent.

Speaker 9 (01:03:01):
Yeah, what's the way? What's the one Alma makes that
we loved it? Had like feta or something on it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:03:08):
They do a lot of different I had some pesto
on it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:11):
I mean, anyway, pizza, change it up. That's the bottom line.
It's okay. It means a little different. Well it Where
is Karen? Karen's in Jacksonville along with Froggy right down
the street from Froggy, Hi, Karen, how's everything in Jack's?

Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
It is free zing?

Speaker 8 (01:03:26):
Yes, lovely, I.

Speaker 5 (01:03:28):
Know, isn't it crazy? Are you from Florida originally? No,
that's from Buffaloni, York, So you know snow. But so
you moved to Florida to get away from the snow
and voila, it's snowing, freezing. Yeah. I think you had
to go to Key West if you wanted to eliminate
snow from your lives. Anyway, So if you go order

(01:03:49):
a slice of pizza or a pie right now, you
will all you will always get white pineapple pepperoni.

Speaker 4 (01:03:56):
The sweet, the spicy, the salty.

Speaker 3 (01:03:59):
It's amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Okay, let me ask you this. Could you substitute the
pineapple with maybe some hot honey instead?

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
I could, but I would have to have pineapple on it.

Speaker 5 (01:04:08):
You love that pineapple.

Speaker 7 (01:04:09):
I like pineapple, love it. Pineapple and olives. People don't like.

Speaker 5 (01:04:14):
I get it. I just have this thing about pineapple
and pizza. I'm gonna try it again on behalf of
I mean, in honor of Danielle and you, Karen, I'm
gonna try some pineapple on my pizza. I promise you
have to.

Speaker 3 (01:04:24):
It is. Oh it's like a dessert.

Speaker 14 (01:04:26):
It's delicious.

Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
That's what I don't like. No, not the one you're
talking about. Dessert pizzas.

Speaker 7 (01:04:32):
Oh new telepizza.

Speaker 5 (01:04:35):
I do not like that so good. I think that
is just sacrilege. Yes, I'm sorry. Anyway, Karen, is there
a great pizza place in Jacksonville that you love more
than the others.

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
I like Jets Pizza, and there's Biggies down here.

Speaker 13 (01:04:52):
Froggy been to Jets, been a Biggies I have, I've
heard of Biggies. I haven't been there. Do you like
v pizza?

Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
It's okay, it's all right.

Speaker 5 (01:05:01):
We all have our preferences. What' scotty? What hello? I
just need to call Froggy out real quick. He had
a little video on his other radio station of Instagram yesterday.
Oh I saw that. Did you see what his number
one pizza was? Go ahead, go ahead ahead throws straight Dominoes? Yeah, okay,
number one?

Speaker 6 (01:05:21):
First of all? Down there they have Donados, which is
so goods is very good.

Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
You can get enough pepperoni. Not what we're talking about.
Donados is great. Dominoes to me can be satisfying. But
I don't consider it pizza. What is it?

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
Bread with tomato, sauce and cheese.

Speaker 7 (01:05:40):
Okay, I have a question.

Speaker 9 (01:05:41):
Then when you when you're shopping in Target, Target has
Pizza Hut and they had those little A lot of
the Targets have the little pizzas you got. Come on,
that's that's good. When you're shopping.

Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
Go to Trader Jos and get to Bembino. Oh really,
the Membino pizzas, Bmbina, Bembino whatever, They're so good. What
do we talking about? This is the worst conversation ever. Oh, Karen,
thank you for listening. Go to Trader Shows, get Membino pizzas.
Promise me put some pineapple on there. You're you're welcome,
Thank you? What was that? Gandhi?

Speaker 6 (01:06:11):
I just think Dominoes is always who's ever going to
turn down a piece of Dominoes? You're never gonna do that,
But who would pick it as number one? When you
have a bunch of little like Mom and Pop pizza
places down there?

Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
Me?

Speaker 5 (01:06:21):
Okay, there's that? Sorry? Why you know?

Speaker 13 (01:06:24):
It's consistent? I always know what I'm gonna get. I
love the breadstick, to like the garlic crust.

Speaker 5 (01:06:28):
I just like it. There's other pizzas I like as well. Okay,
it's just it's it's my goal. Who are we doing?

Speaker 12 (01:06:33):
Yo?

Speaker 5 (01:06:33):
You're young? But let me just say this about pizza,
And this may be an unpopular thing. I've rarely met
slices of pizza I did not devour.

Speaker 7 (01:06:43):
I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
I mean, there's better in my opinion, and I have preferences.
We all have preferences that are different from each other.
But slides of pizza in front of me, I'm gonna
I'm gonna chow that even.

Speaker 9 (01:06:55):
Then, ninety nine cent pizza in New York City. Sometimes
it hits the spot.

Speaker 5 (01:07:00):
Sometimes it's worth like a dollar fifty.

Speaker 6 (01:07:01):
Yes, now we're getting crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:07:05):
Anyway.

Speaker 7 (01:07:06):
I do like a good Sicilian slice too, and I
stick one like that.

Speaker 5 (01:07:09):
Yeah, and we're still talking with pizza.

Speaker 7 (01:07:12):
I wish someone could bring his pizza right now.

Speaker 6 (01:07:14):
We started this off talking about how my toast is
just sitting here getting cold. Now it's ice cold.

Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
That's all the reason we're doing this, just to screw
your toast situation. All right, Hey, so JoJo's gonna be
here in a few minutes. Where's Nate. No one's producing
our show today?

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
Left, Where do he go?

Speaker 12 (01:07:33):
Can you call Nate?

Speaker 11 (01:07:35):

Speaker 5 (01:07:38):
Please let Nate do his job.

Speaker 7 (01:07:41):

Speaker 11 (01:07:42):

Speaker 7 (01:07:45):

Speaker 11 (01:07:46):
On his way out, he goes at twelve past it's
time to take the break.

Is he taking a pool?

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):

Speaker 5 (01:07:56):
Are you taking a poop? Where are you call him?

Speaker 12 (01:07:58):

Speaker 7 (01:07:59):
Oh, he's on the other floor.

Speaker 5 (01:08:03):
He always goes to the other floor, thinking they don't
pool on that floor. Hey, Diamond, is Nate taking a poo?

Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
Sorry?

Speaker 5 (01:08:10):

Speaker 12 (01:08:52):

Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 19 (01:12:42):
I'm really fortunate to be comfortable in New York, Like
you know what I mean. It's not comfortable for everybody.

Speaker 5 (01:12:47):
No one's comfortable in billionaires around comfortable.

Speaker 19 (01:12:50):
I'm freezing, yes, yeah, and I it's it's it's cool.

Speaker 15 (01:12:55):
I like taking the train.

Speaker 19 (01:12:57):
I like, I don't like paying so much much for
ubers this nine dollars like congestion or whatever. That's that
feels like it should not be legal. But I don't know,
I'm really into it. It feels good to be back
on the East Coast. I'm from Massachusetts, so my family
is nearby and I can just hop on a train

(01:13:17):
and be with them, and it's it's great.

Speaker 5 (01:13:20):
Well, so you live uptown, I live downtown Uptown. Yeah,
you know, we can always meet halfway and I'll take
you to dinner.

Speaker 15 (01:13:24):

Speaker 5 (01:13:25):
Or the money keeps rolling in? I need to spend

Speaker 5 (01:13:43):
Where is he? He's online?

Speaker 6 (01:13:45):

Speaker 5 (01:13:47):
Yes?

Speaker 12 (01:13:48):
Go?

Speaker 6 (01:13:48):
Is there anyone that you're concerned about being a super
fan before we talk to them?

Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:13:53):
Okay, I guess what We're going to change all that
right now? Hi, Chris, welcome to the show.

Speaker 8 (01:14:04):
Hey guys, good morning.

Speaker 5 (01:14:05):
Are you We're doing great? So your text said, I'm

calling the station. I want to talk to her. So, okay, Chris,
don't get mad. This is what Nate wrote. Are you
ready for this? Chris nineteen A is a guy, a
super fan? Sounds a little stalkery, Chris, Chris, don't let

(01:14:28):
him talk about you like that. You're not a stalker.
You're a fan of Jojo.

Speaker 8 (01:14:34):
I'm obsessed with Jojo. Jojo actually met me a few times.
I'm actually the guy who drives the tour buses for
the celebrities.

Speaker 5 (01:14:43):
Oh my god, I do know you order.

Speaker 19 (01:14:48):

Speaker 15 (01:15:08):

Speaker 15 (01:15:14):
Okay?

Speaker 12 (01:15:14):
Cool?

Speaker 15 (01:15:15):
All right, booked and busy.

Speaker 8 (01:15:17):
Well, yeah, so I'm actually I actually just I'm on
Twitter right now as you see, as you can know,
but I actually bought your tickets to go see you
in San Diego. It costs me a lot of money
go do it, but I'm definitely gonna do it.

Speaker 5 (01:15:32):
How much how much your tickets for? I'm kind of curious.

Speaker 15 (01:15:34):
They're not that crazy?

Speaker 5 (01:15:35):
Was this was this resale?

Speaker 8 (01:15:37):
I mean, it was the VIP package to meet the
to meet her, meet and Green. But then I gotta
fly over to San Diego. I gotta flash somebody into
fill in for my shift while I go, Oh.

Speaker 15 (01:15:51):
My god, Chris, Well, I appreciate that dedication.

Speaker 5 (01:15:54):
That is really let's be honest. She's I do it
every time. I thank you guys, Thank you, Chris.

Speaker 15 (01:16:02):
We'll see you in San Diego.

Speaker 5 (01:16:04):
You're the only call we're putting on. Wait, thank you.
Gandhi has it safe trip. Gandhi has an inappropriate question.

Speaker 6 (01:16:09):
Inappropriate? I really just want to know. You said you
drive a bus for celebrities, so you meet celebrities all
the time. What is it about Jojo that you love
so much?

Speaker 5 (01:16:17):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:16:18):
God, everything I've been, I've been in Fancy's Oh for
you know, she came out with the swag like I mean,
she started a lot of trends.

Speaker 12 (01:16:26):
Oh, Chris.

Speaker 8 (01:16:27):
I think she's beautiful. Everything about her.

Speaker 12 (01:16:32):
I love her.

Speaker 5 (01:16:33):
And sometimes she hits that note sometimes I.

Speaker 8 (01:16:36):
Do you never fail, you never fell.

Speaker 5 (01:16:40):
Well, Chris, that's so cool. She'll see you in San Diego.
And she's wrapping up her tour here in New York.
I believe we extended. We're going to Miami. Actually we're going.

Speaker 15 (01:16:49):
Seven days. It was going to be New York. We
said we can't stop.

Speaker 5 (01:16:52):
Now, Well, I don't know. I'm going to spend the wheel.
I may see you in both anyway, Chris, thank you
so much for listening. To us, and you have the
best day ever.

Speaker 8 (01:16:58):
Okay, thank you, guys, appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (01:17:01):
He wasn't a stalker. Nice okay, okay, so mean said hey,
so jo Jo, last time you were here, you were
in Mula route.

Speaker 15 (01:17:10):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (01:17:11):
How was your Broadway experience? Oh?

Speaker 15 (01:17:13):
I loved it.

Speaker 19 (01:17:14):
I think I thrive in like high Cortissoult environments. Actually, yeah,
and there's nothing like that Broadway schedule. It's I was
doing seven shows a week, a lot, and it is
typically I think, I mean, some people do eight shows
a week. It's unbelievable. It is a lot. But I
love the community. I loved doing the same thing every night.

(01:17:36):
I loved getting to place a teen and it was
so much fun. I liked it so much that I
am developing an original musical and I'm working on another
one that's been in development for a long.

Speaker 5 (01:17:46):
Time based for you.

Speaker 15 (01:17:47):
Yeah, I'm really really excited.

Speaker 19 (01:17:49):
So that's gonna continue, and I'm just like overjoyed.

Speaker 15 (01:17:54):
I feel like a little kid.

Speaker 7 (01:17:55):
What's harder is touring harder?

Speaker 3 (01:17:57):
No?

Speaker 15 (01:17:58):
I think Broadway is the hardest.

Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
Yeah, I have.

Speaker 19 (01:18:01):
I've always had the most respect for people that do
musical theater, but I never knew how many times a
week they actually do it. The two show days are
really something else, like two shows on Wednesdays, two shows
on Saturdays, sometimes two shows Sunday, depending on what the
schedule is. And that's especially with a if it's a
show that has a big sing, like Wicked or you know,

(01:18:23):
the color purple or even you know, it's just like
unbelievable how vocally taxing it can.

Speaker 5 (01:18:30):
The big sing because those like those money notes.

Speaker 7 (01:18:34):
Yeah, And I sometimes will watch a show and I
will say, oh my gosh, how are they going to
do this again in a couple of hours and put
that much emotion into it?

Speaker 19 (01:18:41):
You know, I'm thinking about my friend Nicole Scherzinger and
like how she is doing Sunset Boulevard and like leaving
everything on stage and sounding like an angel bird and
like just ascending to the highest heights of vocal perfection.

Speaker 15 (01:19:01):
And I'm just like, how are you human?

Speaker 5 (01:19:03):
Yeah, it's amazing.

Speaker 12 (01:19:05):
Ye.

Speaker 5 (01:19:06):
You know, if you're gonna leave everything on the stage,
this may get gross. Leave everything on the sta, you
know what I'm saying, Just just lose control of your bowel, just.

Speaker 14 (01:19:14):
Let it go.

Speaker 15 (01:19:15):
That means nobody wants to see that.

Speaker 8 (01:19:17):
Do you know what?

Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
I feel like? I'm getting my money's words. If you
give me that much, it would be an experience.

Speaker 15 (01:19:22):
Have you went to a place called the Box? Yes,
I've seen some very strange things. Someone leaving everything on
stage at the Box.

Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
If y'all know what I'm talking about, you know what
I'm talking about.

Speaker 19 (01:19:31):
And something I can't unsee it I had to share
with someone Google. We went to the Vault once, but
not the bo Yes, they were licking Daniel's toes.

Speaker 6 (01:19:40):
I saw you in Mulin Rouge and it was incredible,
and I was astounded because I wanted to hear you sing,
and all I could hear was the people around me
singing so loudly because they had all seen it five
to ten times.

Speaker 5 (01:19:52):
What do you think about that?

Speaker 8 (01:19:53):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (01:19:53):
Because they were in the show.

Speaker 15 (01:19:55):
The sing along show?

Speaker 10 (01:19:56):
No, I was not.

Speaker 5 (01:19:57):
It turned into the show.

Speaker 15 (01:20:00):
I'm like, oh, no, you went to this sing along
that was something else.

Speaker 5 (01:20:03):
How do you feel about that if it's not technically
the sing along show and they're all belting it out
to me, I mean they're into it nice exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:20:11):
She hated it, but I was like, this is my
first time piped down people but it was it was
like Deanna who has seen it five times, a couple
of other people from here who have seen it so
many times, and there's an obsession with that show that
I absolutely understand. And then I went home. I thought,
I'm going to watch this movie unavailable to stream anywhere. Rude.

Speaker 15 (01:20:29):
Yeah, I love Baz Luhrman.

Speaker 6 (01:20:31):
Yeah, I love that movie.

Speaker 5 (01:20:32):
As what an interesting guy. We've had him on the
show several times.

Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:20:35):
Interesting. I got to meet him. He came came into
my dressing room and I'm like, are you Baz Luhrman?

Speaker 5 (01:20:41):
It's crazy and his mind is wired in such a
very fun way. Remember that's you know that song that
we played by him so screen. We played that all
the time. I'll play it for you. Your music. Let's
talk about your music. Jojoe is here, by the way.
If you're just turning us on her EP is out tomorrow. Leave.
It's called me in g L, which stands for not

(01:21:03):
Gonna Lie, Not Gonna Lie. Yeah, okay, let's talk about
EP versus album? Sure, Okay, there's an album has this
I guess typically an average number of cuts on it.

Speaker 19 (01:21:13):
It's nine or above nine or above. Yeah, I think
this is eight or seven, but like an interlude.

Speaker 5 (01:21:19):
Jojo, can't you just commut? Like squeeze up?

Speaker 6 (01:21:20):
Can commit?

Speaker 5 (01:21:21):
No, squeeze out? Two more sols.

Speaker 19 (01:21:23):
I have so many songs. But the thing is, I
just I have been uh in the music industry since
I was a fetus and a lot and I am
like currently unsubscribing from old ways of thinking and like
old you know things that I put on myself or
haven't been put on me, so EPs and mixtapes.

Speaker 15 (01:21:42):
Feel I feel more free, do.

Speaker 5 (01:21:43):
Okay your way, Okay, don't let me.

Speaker 12 (01:21:47):
Jojo.

Speaker 5 (01:21:47):
I'm just thinking, what would a fetus sound like?

Speaker 15 (01:21:52):
You can hear me as a fetus on Leave get Out?

Speaker 16 (01:21:54):
I was.

Speaker 7 (01:21:56):
Like, yeah, I literally, did you know, women I ever
think of redoing that?

Speaker 9 (01:22:03):
Like I was telling him before, like Justin Bieber made
one of my favorite Christmas albums ever, but he did
it when he was very young. I'd love for him
to redo that now to hear what he would sound like. Now,
would you ever think do that?

Speaker 19 (01:22:14):
So in twenty eighteen, I re recorded my first two albums.
So that's what I did.

Speaker 5 (01:22:19):
I was said, like a Taylor Swift lawsuit thing, No
I did it before.

Speaker 15 (01:22:22):
Actually, yeah, it was.

Speaker 19 (01:22:23):
It was before my first two albums weren't available on
streaming services because my label didn't do a deal with
the DSPs, so it was anyway boring stuff. But I
was like, I'm tired of feeling like I'm you know,
a victim of circumstance.

Speaker 15 (01:22:36):
Is like, what can I do?

Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Oh?

Speaker 15 (01:22:38):
I can cover my songs?

Speaker 19 (01:22:39):
So anyway you hear my twenty seven year old voice
on you know, my first two albums, and my fans
have supported it in a phenomenal way. And you know,
there were number one on iTunes and you know they
were they streamed super well, so they have really kept
me aflow those I.

Speaker 7 (01:22:53):
Want to go get them.

Speaker 5 (01:22:54):
We walked in this morning Jojo and I said, we're
gonna play a song today. He said, well, I got
a pull songs, so we have, and so we The
first one I hit this morning was ready to Love?
Oh nice?

Speaker 15 (01:23:07):
And is it gonna drop at midnight? Along with the
EP it hasn't dropped?

Speaker 5 (01:23:10):
Chet? Is this legal?

Speaker 15 (01:23:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:23:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (01:23:15):
Probably Ready to Love? And too much to say with
those the ones.

Speaker 5 (01:23:18):
It kicks in, It kicks in in a second, and
it feels good right here, right here?

Speaker 10 (01:23:26):
Can am the phone anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:23:29):
It's like waiting and stating.

Speaker 5 (01:23:31):
Just sounds good. I'm gonna play the whole thing. Really,
I'm sorry, sorry about that. I like to hear so
I can see you in a studio with the big speakers,
all the buttons and knobs and things, with producers and writers,
and you turn it really loud and you're like, hey, guys,
this turned out really great, right. Is that what it's

(01:23:53):
like being in the cockpit when when you hear almost
like a final mix, and you're like.

Speaker 12 (01:23:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:23:58):
I mean, you know, when you write a song and
then you step away from it, sometimes there's the chorus
A I mean, sometimes you're like, wow, this is really good.

Speaker 15 (01:24:07):
And then you're like do I suck?

Speaker 19 (01:24:08):
And then you're like nothing I do is good, and
then you're like, no, this is really good.

Speaker 15 (01:24:12):
It's such a rollercoaster.

Speaker 19 (01:24:14):
But I like to write a song, take some space
away from it, and then see how I feel.

Speaker 15 (01:24:19):
And so I wrote this.

Speaker 19 (01:24:19):
At the end of twenty twenty three and then lived
with it and decided that I did want to put
out a project, and then to hear the evolution of
these songs has been really really cool and like fine
tune the production and say, you know, can we turn
this up?

Speaker 15 (01:24:32):
Can we do this? I love that whole process.

Speaker 5 (01:24:35):
It just sounds so lush. I love that word the background.

Speaker 19 (01:24:40):
You know, I am from an era where I love
a lot of a rich, thick, lush background treatment.

Speaker 5 (01:24:46):
Things have changed a lot since you started. They have today.
I mean, you can throw something out there and right
right now, for instance, we're going to play your music
in a few minutes and you're going to get immediate feedback. Yeah,
good and bad. Evil, that's right, evil, it's all. Do
you like this version of the music industry a lot
more than the original that you started it?

Speaker 19 (01:25:07):
I like it because, well, not only is the music
industry different, I'm different and I'm more adaptable, and I'm
just like I roll with the punches, and I think
that there's a lot more opportunity for artists to connect
directly with their fans.

Speaker 15 (01:25:25):
It's not easy.

Speaker 19 (01:25:26):
I'm very fortunate that I have a really loyal, amazing,
enthusiastic fan base that you know, I'm really have a
great relationship with. But I imagine it's challenging to like start
and try to get some traction on TikTok and Instagram
and stuff. When you I mean there's so much. Ten
thousand songs are uploaded on DSPs every day. That's insane.

(01:25:49):
So it's it's a crazy time. But I think it's
there's less. It doesn't genres don't matter as much. You know,
artists are just making a unique synthesis of all their influences,
and I think that's it's a fire time to be
a creative person.

Speaker 5 (01:26:06):
Looking back, Jojoe, from your roots, your beginning in the industry,
is there something that happened, I'll go here. Is there
something that happened then that kind of broke your heart
and you're still heartbroken over it, something that kind of
shattered your heart over when you started.

Speaker 19 (01:26:24):
I don't know that I'm still shattered by it. But
like I've been in therapy for ten years, so that's
a lot of money. You know, that's a long time.
Well spent money, well spent money. But I think what
was really heartbreaking for me is I'm an only child.
I come from a you know, quote unquote broken home,
Like I already had that foundation, and I was like
bullied in school and all that stuff, and then to

(01:26:45):
have people tell me from a young age that they're
like my you know, be my uncle figures and my
brothers and my father figures and all this stuff and
then tell them, you know, them telling me they love
me at like twelve thirteen, fourteen and really believing that
we're a family, and then for them to just like
jump ship and be like, oh, this doesn't make I
can make more money over here or do that. That

(01:27:07):
is a heartbreaking thing to learn very young, and that
definitely skews the way that you look at life and
people and relationships. And that's something that I'm still dealing
with now, but not forever probably and forever mon, we're.

Speaker 5 (01:27:22):
All we're still we're still kind of trying to figure
it out.

Speaker 15 (01:27:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:27:26):
So trust is a challenging thing for me because I
put my trust in people from a young age and
then I had to learn really quickly that business is
not personal. And I think that made me a cold
blooded person for a long time. And I applied it
too much, like too liberally, and I was But sometimes
things are personal.

Speaker 6 (01:27:44):
Yeah, it feels personal when someone screws you over it
does it does?

Speaker 5 (01:27:47):
But you write a song about it, Yeah, you do.

Speaker 15 (01:27:49):
I felt super disconnected from it. I was, I was numb.

Speaker 19 (01:27:52):
But you know now now I have outlets that I
that make more sense for me.

Speaker 7 (01:27:56):
What about social media? Like, when you started social media,
wasn't you know really.

Speaker 19 (01:28:00):
I launched on MySpace, so social media was like just
at the precipice, right.

Speaker 7 (01:28:05):
So what it is now as to what it was then?

Speaker 9 (01:28:08):
Like, you know, you know how people can be cruel
to everybody, and how do you like weed out that
or ignore the negativity which you know everybody gets.

Speaker 19 (01:28:16):
Well, I'm a grown up, Like so it's I mean,
that doesn't mean that I'm don't have feelings. I do,
Like it impacts me when people are like say mean things,
but I feel really bad, Like I couldn't imagine being thirteen,
which is the age that I put out my first
single at like now. But I think that kids deal
with it across the board. I think everybody probably feels

(01:28:39):
the pressure that I felt as a kid, because social
media gives you that feedback loop and like someone will
post a picture and immediately they're like, oh, should I
take it down because it's only got twenty likes?

Speaker 15 (01:28:50):
Like say, you know, it's just a kid.

Speaker 19 (01:28:52):
In school, you know, and they're like, oh, maybe that's
not good scary?

Speaker 5 (01:28:56):
Does that guilty?

Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:28:58):
But like lunacy.

Speaker 19 (01:29:00):
What is that doing to the developing mind that's squishy
and impressionable and stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:29:04):
You're an adult now, Yeah, we got to take her
out of the kid box.

Speaker 12 (01:29:08):
You know.

Speaker 19 (01:29:08):
No, I'm just saying, I like, I'm grateful that I
I don't know, I'm seasoned.

Speaker 5 (01:29:13):
You're doing fine, fine, Yeah, living in your own place
in New York City.

Speaker 6 (01:29:19):
Yeah, on a scale of one to ten, how devastated
were you with the disappearance of TikTok for like twelve hours?

Speaker 15 (01:29:24):
I was fine with it.

Speaker 1 (01:29:25):
I'm so glad.

Speaker 19 (01:29:26):
I'm sorry that was with it like I was, you know,
I'll be honest, though I was. I was sad for
the people friends of mine who have, you know, like
built their their careers on TikTok, And I'm like, dang,
I know, it doesn't it's not just it doesn't just
transfer over to another app.

Speaker 15 (01:29:42):
So I'm like, what are they going to do?

Speaker 19 (01:29:44):
But I'm like, I don't know, you know, as far
as for me, that's okay, but it's not just about me.
So I was definitely thinking about the people that have
built amazing lives and careers on TikTok living back so
it's back.

Speaker 5 (01:29:54):
Yeah, Jojo is here. We're going to play some music
from n g L Not Gonna Lie, which is released tomorrow.
But why waite, let's play it all now? So okay,
the checklist of things you have to understand living in
New York.

Speaker 15 (01:30:06):
City, Oh, please tell me because I'm brand new.

Speaker 5 (01:30:08):
No, you know, you know some more than me, probably, Okay. Well,
you know, when you're walking down the sidewalk, don't look
up at buildings because you're gonna run into someone.

Speaker 15 (01:30:20):
Yeah, that's tourist behavior.

Speaker 5 (01:30:22):
You gotta.

Speaker 9 (01:30:22):
Yeah, and watch the bikes because they do not care.
They will run right over.

Speaker 6 (01:30:26):
You and they go a multiple directions.

Speaker 19 (01:30:28):
Yeah, I've learned that the hard way. Yeah, sure, right
in the subway. Yeah, what have you learned on the subway?

Speaker 5 (01:30:34):
Right?

Speaker 15 (01:30:34):
You know there's a lot of smells, there's a lot
of sights.

Speaker 5 (01:30:37):
Yeah, there's a lot of mystery liquid.

Speaker 15 (01:30:39):
Mystery liquid.

Speaker 19 (01:30:40):
I always I always think it's funny when people bring
their own soundtrack and want to share it with you, you
know what I mean. Like, I've been put onto a
lot of new music that way. Like I'm like people,
it's like with a boom box, you know, I'm like,
you have a boombox for real.

Speaker 5 (01:30:57):
They still they still they do with white shows on them,
all of stuff.

Speaker 6 (01:31:01):
You can never stop outside a revolving door. You keep
going and then you stop, and obviously at the bottom
or top of any escalator. But that's just common sense
for anywhere.

Speaker 15 (01:31:09):
I agree, that's everywhere.

Speaker 5 (01:31:10):
That's just think you have any issue with the New
York City, I think you've owned it. You own it already,
And I've always said ever since I moved here, everyone
should spend at least a year of their lives living
in the city. And sometimes we're trapped. We can't get
out of it, all right. So the tour, Yeah, you've
added more days of course in our Miami, which I'm
so excited about. So tell me where you are kicking

(01:31:32):
on February twenty second.

Speaker 19 (01:31:33):
Okay, so twenty second in Nashville. So super excited, and
I'll be out till mid April, come see me. I
I just think this is going to be the best
tour I've ever done because I'm having so much fun
in my life and everything translates, like the way you
feel translates to the way you perform, and it's so

(01:31:54):
I'm looking forward to it, like be moving here and
having the experience of being on Broadway sharpened me. It
made me be like, oh, I want to go do
my own music now. So it's been a minute. It's
been four years since I released my last project, and
this this uh, I'm like, what is it called? This
tour is going to be yes, the new music but

(01:32:15):
also taking it back nostalgic, and every single time we
put together a completely new set list, like it's not
just we're like, we're calling it a new tour and
we're doing the same thing.

Speaker 15 (01:32:25):
It's never that.

Speaker 5 (01:32:26):
So I'm going to ask you something I've never asked
anyone because I don't ever go down this road because
I don't like it when interviewers do it. So I'm
going to go ahead and throw it out there. Are
you dating anyone?

Speaker 15 (01:32:36):
I am?

Speaker 5 (01:32:37):
Okay, Okay, next question, Well, because I've never I've.

Speaker 15 (01:32:44):
Got hesked, I've never ever got made you go.

Speaker 5 (01:32:47):
Down that road with me because okay, the thought process
was on the road you want to take me out
nor to date. I'm sure you're dated lots of old
gay guys before.

Speaker 7 (01:33:00):
He's married too.

Speaker 5 (01:33:02):
You can date him too. I don't give it. Okay,
here's the more my thought process was, and as an interviewer,
I guess I when thinking hitting the road going out,
I'm looking at all these dates. You're starting in February,
and you're rolling around l A. And you're going home
to Boston, and you're doing Chicago and everywhere New York
and then Miami. Is that good for a relationship? TVD TV.

Speaker 15 (01:33:26):
I'll let you know. No, I actually think I don't know.

Speaker 19 (01:33:29):
If somebody understands like what that is like, then it's
probably helpful.

Speaker 5 (01:33:34):
Okay, okay, good? Yeah again, next question, So is Mike
so long? I never do that? It's weird. You really
don't don't don't I get, I get you just.

Speaker 15 (01:33:44):
Feel comfortable with me. We're old friends.

Speaker 5 (01:33:47):
Sure, okay, I'll take that. So any more personal questions
about Josh?

Speaker 7 (01:33:51):
What is his name? What's his social security?

Speaker 5 (01:33:55):
Don't don't let them ask any questions because of the
worst and the best. Hey, I want to play some music. Yeah,
we just heard like a little hair of Ready to Love,
but we didn't hear start Over and I've heard start
Over is well. The difference between the two is.

Speaker 19 (01:34:13):
Oh, between Ready to Love and start Over? Yes, start
Over was when I was like in this on again,
off again thing for like ten years, which is not
a good idea, but I don't always, you know, make
the best choices always, and so that's what this is about.
I was like, you know, what if, just hypothetically, what
if we could go back in time and you know,

(01:34:34):
see the mistakes before we made them and then ready
to love is being like, you know what, I actually
see that you are no longer not emotionally available, and
that's not attractive to me. I actually want to like
set myself up for success. I'm too grown for like
doing the same thing expecting different results. So I'm actually

(01:34:55):
gonna make room for somebody. That's where I'm at. So
it's like a aggression within that journey.

Speaker 12 (01:35:01):
Jojo.

Speaker 5 (01:35:01):
I'm kind of wondering who's driving to work right now, going,
oh my god, that's me. I'm in the same seat
that JoJo's.

Speaker 15 (01:35:11):
Haven't we all? I mean, I'm like so many of us.

Speaker 5 (01:35:13):
Yeah, I'm tired. I'm tired of begging someone to fall
in love with me or be with me, or.

Speaker 19 (01:35:18):
Begging for forgiveness or like you know, just to see
me in a different light or enough of that.

Speaker 15 (01:35:22):
Yeah, enough of that.

Speaker 5 (01:35:23):
I'm growing up now. This is the second time you've
said that since you said.

Speaker 19 (01:35:26):
I need to stop driving that home like it's obvious. Actually,
why am I What do I.

Speaker 5 (01:35:29):
Have to No? No, no, no, I think no. It's great
because there are people listening right now. They're going, oh
my god, I so appreciate where she is.

Speaker 8 (01:35:37):
Dang it.

Speaker 5 (01:35:37):
I'm in the same place too. This is great. This
is awesome, very relatable. Yeah, I mean, why what do
you want to write something down? Just tell me what? Okay? Yeah,
apparently you've got things to do. You're you're cheating on
this with other outlets today. Never makes me mad. I'm
not gonna play your stupid music. I'm having abandoned issues.

(01:36:04):
You should understand this. I want to play start Over.

Speaker 12 (01:36:08):
Yeah, all right, scary.

Speaker 5 (01:36:09):
Why are you gonna put it over there? It works
over here, it works both places. All right. There's a
problem with the sound. It's garbled.

Speaker 19 (01:36:19):
I like to start off my songs garbled. Okay, Yeah,
it's like what did she say underwater? I didn't know
it was a zero intro as we say, so is this?

Speaker 5 (01:36:26):
It is this? Goodbye?

Speaker 15 (01:36:27):
This is start over? Oh, we're not doing it?

Speaker 6 (01:36:29):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:36:30):
A song called Goodbye. The song is start over, but
this is time to say, Okay, well I'm gonna play
it again. We're gonna play the garbled part and then
hopefully it'll kick in. Yeah, maybe the sound engineer had
a little problem that day. I'm kidding.

Speaker 19 (01:36:45):
We'll make were choices of this. I don't have to
tell you I like my garbled sound.

Speaker 5 (01:36:48):
You have a busy day, apparently, when's your next when's
your next schedule or whatever? Like in ten minutes? One minute?

Speaker 9 (01:36:55):
Oh my god, so we should just sit here for
a minute's one minute meditation over there?

Speaker 5 (01:37:01):
Let me give you the details. NGL, not gonna lie.
The new EP from Jojo released midnight tonight, and we're ken.
We're only giving you two of the seven cuts. Yeah
all right. She could have put two more on there
and made it an album. Everyone's doing that. You want

(01:37:22):
a quick final thought for Jojo before we play the song.

Speaker 6 (01:37:25):
Good luck with everything.

Speaker 15 (01:37:26):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:37:26):
I think it's gonna be awesome.

Speaker 15 (01:37:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (01:37:28):
Keep being fabulous.

Speaker 15 (01:37:29):
Oh you guys, don't forget us, don't forget don't forget it,
never forget you.

Speaker 5 (01:37:33):
When you get that Broadway show, Oh you already did that?
Are you gonna be doing Broadway? Anytime soon. You talked
about developing next year. Next year.

Speaker 7 (01:37:43):
Show already out.

Speaker 5 (01:37:45):
No, I could see you in Oklahoma.

Speaker 15 (01:37:51):
Okay, I never said.

Speaker 7 (01:37:53):
Sorry with the fringe on top Oklahoma.

Speaker 5 (01:37:55):
All right, Jojo, this is from the new EPL. This
is start over.

Speaker 1 (01:38:05):
El mister ran in the morning show, right, Danielle.

Speaker 9 (01:38:08):
Yes, So I'm gonna talk about the OSCAR nominations that
came out this morning. You know, it all goes down
on Sunday, March second. Conan O'Brien will be hosting. What
are we expecting? Well, first of all, this is pretty cool.

the past where they don't. They don't one one.

Speaker 5 (01:39:19):
In the other.

Speaker 9 (01:39:20):
