Speaker 1 (00:00):
Just let me so lately.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Friday, it's Friday's Dancing Bit.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
In the morning show rolling into Friday. It's Friday, September
twenty seventh, into the weekend. Yeah, a lot of us
looking for a beautiful weekend just to go out and relax.
A lot of us, if you can hear us, if
you have power, have a lot to check out. Once
the sun comes up. We're talking about Florida and Georgia
of course. Yeah, wow, what a mess. So I know
Froggy is down there in Jacksonville, even though you guys

(00:38):
didn't get hit really hard. I mean, the rest of
the state over over on the coast, the Gulf Coast.
While they're saying this storm's probably probably one of the
biggest storms they've ever experienced, at least in modern recording history, right.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Yeah, the storms are just gonna be really bad. One
point two five million people in the state of Florida
without power right now, and we will assess the damage
as the sun comes up this morning.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Yeah, that's one of those things. We live in this
high tech world where we know everything in an instant,
but this is one of those things you just don't
know until Mother Nature turns on the light, so I
know Froggy's been up most of the night keeping an
eye on everything. There's a lot of people who are
just looking for other people right now in the dark.
My frightening moment yesterday. Of course, easy for me to

(01:21):
say because I wasn't there. But when authorities asked people
to use a magic marker, a permanent marker to mark
their name and social Security number and info on their
skin because they refuse to leave, they refuse to evacuate
because they wanted to stay home to make sure things
were safe. Well, well that's the day we're rolling into.

(01:41):
We have the rest of the country we need to
be paying attention to as well. This is a this
is a weird pivot point. This chair we sit in,
don't you don't you agree?

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I mean, yeah, yeah, of course.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Well, welcome to the day, Welcome to the weekend. I
don't know where to start. Good morning, Gandhi, how are
you doing today?

Speaker 6 (01:58):
Good morning? Feeling great? How are you?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I'm good, I'm good. We're on top of it together.
What about you, Danielle? Are you on top of it?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I'm on top of it sometimes.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Are you in the top bunk or the bottom bunk? Today.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It depends on the day.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah, I rolled out of the bottom bunk today. I
just thought it would be closer to the floor. Hey,
good morning, Straight and eight. Are you ready to take
charge of this mess? I am? I am? Give me
the rains there, Duran, Okay, good morning, Producer, Sam Wadealds,
do you morning? Good morning. There's Scotty B and Master Control. Hi,
good morning, And of course I see Scary Scary on
the buttons on the ones and tues Hi and Froggy.

(02:30):
Just let's check in with Froggy from time to time.
But I know you have a lot of stuff going on,
so in and out, whatever you need us, we're here
for you. Okay, you got it all right. Hey, another
big thing that's happening here on the show. Starting in
exactly two hours, we started announcing lineups for three of
our favorite jingle Ball concerts, New York, Miami, and Philadelphia.

(02:50):
I know it's a jingle Ball announced Friday and we're
going to begin in exactly two hours yesterday.

Speaker 7 (02:58):
So yesterday we had a little sneak peak of a
couple of the you know, of the lineups. So I
told my son the lineup yesterday and I swear to gosh,
I thought he was gonna faint on the floor. He's like,
that might be one of the best lineups I've ever
heard in my life.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Okay, so at least we passed your son's tap. That
that's a big good thing. All right. We don't know
where the day is gonna take us. We've got mystery
mysteries to solve it coming up in two hours, as
we announced at least three of the biggest and most
important jingle ball concerts of the season. Until we get
there for some reason, let's play some Katy Perry. This

(03:32):
was whoa, here we go. Welcome to the day, Katy Perry,
thanks for starting the day. Hey, we got to roll
into it. We do have a phone tap on the way,
but it's once again a free crap phone tap. Who
was in charge of a looting looting the building today?

Speaker 8 (03:50):
Gandhi Danielle.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, Gandhi and Danielle one. From time to time you
two just like hold hands and skip down the hole
and steal steal stuff from people's good I won't give
it away. About an hour now, our first caller of
the day, last of the week, the last first caller
of the week. That makes sense. Tony Marie uh sending
good vibes, but she needs good vibes too. How you doing,
Tony Marie? What's going on with you today?

Speaker 9 (04:12):
Hello, lady?

Speaker 7 (04:13):
I love you guys so much.

Speaker 9 (04:15):
I have a job interview this morning, and I really
need all the good vibes I can get because I'm
playing thirty on Monday. Since I get a job for
my birthday, that'll be fantastic.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yeah, happy birthday. We give you the gift of employment. Wow.
I know, but you know that'd be some good news.
So are you excited going into this interview? Do you
feel good about it? Good vibes?

Speaker 9 (04:34):
I feel excellent. I've been preparing for it all week
and I know I'm gonna nail it.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So how do you prepare for an interview?

Speaker 9 (04:42):
So you practice interview questions and you impress them as
much as you can with all the resources that show
them that you can make, that show them how successfull
you can be in the little kay.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Wow, I think that's the advantage.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Do you have to look in the mirror?

Speaker 7 (04:56):
I think and you have to like give yourself like
positive like reinforcement and you got this. I'm the best
I'm gonna get this job. But you really have to
pump yourself up.

Speaker 9 (05:05):
Yeah, exactly, all the affirmation.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Yeah, So what is your weakest skill?

Speaker 10 (05:12):
Hmmm?

Speaker 9 (05:12):
I have to say that I am too hard on myself.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I okay, So how can you how can you reconstruct
that answer? I'm a I'm always self evaluating enough if
I find that I if I, if I don't, if
I'm not performing at a level where I need to perform,
I stay with it and lean into it and fix it.

(05:39):
I don't know exactly. Resilience, Yeah, yes, I'm trying to
write it as I go. Yeah, don't write it as
you go like I just did, because that was probably
end everything. All right, Look, we're not nervous. We're excited
for you, Tony Marie. I want you to go in there,
win them over, and get back to us on Monday
and let us know how you did. You promise.

Speaker 9 (05:56):
Of course, thank you so much. I've been listening since
I was in middle school. I I love you guys
so much. You give so much cheer in my day
every day. So thank you so much for taking my call.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Well, thank you for being there, and all right, go
get him, Tiger. We're rooting for you. Just remember that
we're sitting here thinking about you when you're in that
chair today.

Speaker 9 (06:12):
Okay, thank you so much, guys. I appreciate your support.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Oh, you're so welcome. What do we have for Tony
Marie as we send her off to her interview?

Speaker 8 (06:20):
Tony Marie, we're going to send you a fifty dollars
Wendy's gift card so you can grab that breakfast burrito
on the way.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
To the interview when you go.

Speaker 9 (06:27):
Awesome, Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Maybe on the way home from the interview. It's up
to you. Well listen a hold on one second, Tony Marie,
and all the best break a leg, as they say
in show Viz. So let's roll into the Friday. Let's
get into the three things we need to know from Gandhi,
and let's make a go of it. What do you
got going on, Gandhi?

Speaker 6 (06:45):
Well, my computer just completely shut down and crap.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
The bed, right, all right, crap in the bed.

Speaker 11 (06:49):
No, I think we should start with Hurricane Helen while
this thing reboots, because I know Froggy has a lot
of information. It's being called one of the strongest storms
to hit in a very very long time.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
She has brought all of trouble to the Florida area.

Speaker 11 (07:01):
She now has the distinction of being the strongest hurricane
in history to hit the Big Bend region. The storm
made landfall late last night just southeast of Tallahassee as
a powerful cap for hurricane. Governor DeSantis is morning residents
not to let their guard down. Even though the storm
is moving on and now making its presence known in Georgia.
Hazards and potential disaster will remain throughout the overnight hours,

(07:23):
even after sunrise. Hurricane Helene is now being downgraded though
to a tropical storm, but people still need to be
very aware of what's going on.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
Froggy, do you want to add anything to that?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I mean, you pretty much covered it all, Gandhi. It
is now a tropical storm. Yes, one point two to
five million people in Florida without power. Two point five
million people nationwide right now due to Hurricane Helen with outpower.
As you get into Georgia and South Carolina. It has
been downgraded to a tropical storm. I heard a term
last night that I haven't heard for the first time.
It was called a Messo vortex, and that was going on.

(07:57):
It was the wind in the eye wall was spinning
the other way. So the way the storm is spending
counterclockwise inside the eyewall, it was going the other way.
It's called a mesov ortex. I follow a gentleman on
X that's a storm chaser. He was in the eyewall.
I've never seen anything like this. It is just loud.
These storms are just unbelievable. As a category four when

(08:18):
it made landfall last night around eleven pm in the
Big Bendicks.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
Thank you, Frogy.

Speaker 11 (08:25):
New York City Mayor Eric Adams is set to be
a ragn today on a slew of federal corruption charges.
He's been ordered to appear in Federal District Court in
Manhattan at noon. He was indicted yesterday on charges that
he accepted bribes from Turkish Turkish officials and funneled the
money into his campaign as contributions. He also allegedly accepted
at least one hundred thousand dollars in travel benefits. Adams

(08:45):
has remained defiant following the indictment, vowing to stay in
office as he proclaims his innocence. And finally, that record
setting ball hit by Los Angeles Dodgers star Shoho Tani
has been causing all kinds of drama.

Speaker 6 (08:59):
It's set to be auctioned off. Yes, it's now the
subject of a lawsuits.

Speaker 11 (09:03):
So he became the first player to hit fifty home
runs and gain fifty Selen bases in the same season,
but now an eighteen year old is suing.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
He's claiming he actually caught.

Speaker 11 (09:12):
The baseball, but it was ripped from his hands by
another fan. Video of the game does show fans and
a scuffle over the ball. The auction is starting at
a bit of half a million dollars, with the option
to buy it outright for four point five million. The
auction house says it knows about the lawsuit, but they
insist the auction is going forward.

Speaker 6 (09:28):
Danielle is outraged about something.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
Scuffles happen every day when a ball comes into your
area and who wants it and who doesn't have it.
Sometimes it lands in your hand, then you drop it,
someone else grabs it. It just is what you know,
unless he's a kid there and you feel bad you
want to give it to the kid, especially a ball
like this.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Whatever, Well, couldn't they set up a rule or law
that says, well, if it's our ball, it's our ball,
Get me my ball. Back. I oh, as you're going
to jail.

Speaker 12 (09:52):
You know.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
In soccer it's like that. You can't keep so people
this It makes me laugh because people that go to
a soccer match for the first time have no idea.
If the ball gets kicked into the sands, they sit
with it and the people on the sideline go, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
You got you gotta throw that back. You don't keep it.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Soccer, then that's the answer. We should only have one
ball per game. That's it. You don't give the ball
back the game over. Could you imagine we have one ball.
The stadium is issued one ball and one ball here
you go, all right, look at that. We solve all
the problems in life, don't we. And those are your
three things? Yes, thank you guys? Ready for your Friday? Yeah,

(10:29):
all right, let's see what happens. Yo, I'm gonna play hooky. Goodbye?
How mister ran in the Morning Show with Wendy's Breakfast
Burrito is everything you want for breakfast. Fresh cracked eggs,
seasoned potatoes, American cheese, cheese, sauce, bacon or sausage, all
rolled up into one warm tortilla. Want the boss of
Breakfast Burritos gotta be Wendy's at participating in US.

Speaker 13 (10:51):
Wendy's Here, here we go, we are fat oldstran in
the Morning show.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Here I go. You know, the morning ritual, polishing off
some coffee.

Speaker 14 (11:10):
You know.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
So I think Sunday is National Coffee Day. I think
we learned that yesterday with Food News and Froggy. Yeah,
since Sunday's National Coffee Day. I just want to caution
you don't go overboard with this caffeine thing. Look, I
know we're all different. Some of us have a different
tolerance level for caffeine, and you know I don't. The
question is how much is too much caffeine? According to

(11:30):
this one cardiologist I was reading about caffeine consumption is
safe up to a point, especially for people who don't
have a heart condition. And you need to know if
you have a heart condition. But if you don't and
you're like slamming back gallons of java every day, Yeah,
I don't know they're saying. I think the a HS

(11:51):
American Heart Association in US Food and Drug Administration, they
say that point is usually around three to four cups
of coffee per day for most people, three to four
cups per day.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
That's a lot.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
That is a lot, well not for some. I mean
we say that. I mean I usually have a cup
per day, and maybe I'll do an espresso in the
afternoon if I if I need to like do something
other than that. That's it.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
Diamond, I don't know how many cups of coffee she
has a she is a coffee freakazoid.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Well, turn around, turn on a little jittery girlfriend over there.
So maybe this has explained some of you are erratic behavior,
young lady.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
Yes, I keep a coffee in my hand, cold, hot, whatever,
it's good.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Well, so they're also saying, you know, in the factors
that you must look at, including your body makeup, is
also the number of cups you have, how strong each
cup is because you know, different vendors, different places, different
machines will have a different strength of caffeine. Right, So,
I mean there's a lot you can't really judge. There's
no meters to look. It's not like you're gas tank
in your car as such. But other drinks though you

(12:55):
need to drink, like one to if you need to
drink one to three energy drinks, four to five cans
of coke or ten to fifteen cups of green tea.
That's the equivalent of like three to four cups of coffee.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
How much coke?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Four to five cans of coke? But see they're not
I don't think they're including sugar in that.

Speaker 15 (13:14):
Seven sugars per coke.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
I don't know. I had an aunt, God rest her soul.
She would drink one of those big, like seventeen liter
bottles of coke every single day. But that's okay. She
balanced it with a carton of cigarettes. So signs you've
had too much caffeine. Maybe you can check these things
off with you. Insomnia, just can't sleep, jitteriness, heart palpitations,

(13:40):
excessive sweating, nausea, and headaches. And I know some people
if they wake up on the weekends and they're not
in routine mode and they don't have their coffee like
they do during the week, they get headaches, they have withdrawal.
I'm not at that point. They say, if you come
to a point where you start having withdrawal symptoms, then
maybe it's something to look at.

Speaker 7 (14:00):
Yes, Daniel, I had a friend in college who was
so addicted to caffeine and coffee that the doctor made
her go off of it and go through the whole
withdrawal process, and she said it was like torture for
her because she was getting the sweats and the jitters
and everything because she was so addicted to it.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Wow, And look at Nate's dad, for instance, who was
a truck driver, a trucker. Yeah, and know we have
a lot of truckers listening to us right now. And
you you do everything you can to keep your eyes open.
So how many cups of coffee per day with your
dad drink? His record was thirty eight cups of coffee
in one day.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Oh my god.

Speaker 8 (14:37):
It's because his day would start at like two am
and he would go until late at night or whatever.
And but a lot of times you would sit in
the dispatch room and there's nothing to do, so he'd
just sit there drinking.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Coffee all day. So he kept you.

Speaker 8 (14:50):
My dad's weird. He's like keeps track of everything he
eats and drinks. And he's like, yeah, I had thirty
eight cups one day, and uh yeah, so we'll be
on the road and not wanting to stop a lot.
I mean, you just have a big thermis in the truck,
and he.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Would have a thermis.

Speaker 8 (15:02):
But if you ever looked at the dash of his truck.
There would be empty coffee cups like he would just
start stacking the.

Speaker 7 (15:09):
Cor How did he not stop at the bathroom like
everything say, geeh.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
He did. Well, there you go. So as you get
up and you get rolling. Look but you know, then
then they say, well, you know, a certain amount of
coffee per day is actually good for a lot of people.
It's good for you. You know. They also used to say
that about wine, and now they say just one sip
of alcohol is bad for your entire system. They're saying
it's poisoning all of your cells. Is that what they're saying, now, Yeah,
that's what they're saying. Though they're saying. The argument is,

(15:37):
and it's it's been all over the news of late
that any alcohol at all is bad for you and
it does not make sense to drink alcohol to be healthier. Wow,
I don't know, uh what up there, Froggy.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Do you remember there used to be these little pills.
There was a little bottle called no Doze. Oh yeah, yeah.
When my dad liked to drive at night because there
was no traffic on the road, so he would leave
home at like eleven pm, driving from North Carolina to Florida.
He would take almost a bottle.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Of no doze. Oh god man, he was taking it
down with coffee. Well, there's an interesting recipe.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
I wonder why Elie is not the picture of health.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
I mean you might as well, just like it sounds
like itting fhetamines. I mean he's going for it seriously. Yeah,
scary dude. Drink coffee. I do.

Speaker 16 (16:27):
I do one cup of day, and I've learned that
you do if you could wean yourself off the cream
and the sugar. Coffee by itself is only five to
black coffee five to fifteen calories.

Speaker 15 (16:38):
That's it.

Speaker 16 (16:38):
And there's not a whole lot else in there except
for caffeine. So I could see the health benefits if
you don't drown it in milk and sugar.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Well, but we're talking about caffeine specifically. But no, no,
if you add milkin and sugar in there, that's a
whole different ball game.

Speaker 15 (16:51):
I need a little jolt in the morning and then
I'm good. I just have one cup of day.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah. But you know, you go to Italy and you know,
if you're walking on the streets of your town getting
business done, you'll exit off and off to an espresso
bar six seven, eight times a day and slam one back.
You don't even sit down, you just you slam it
at the counter and go. That's just the way of life.
And like I always say, Italians, I know they need
an extra jolt of espresso to have enough energy to

(17:17):
go to sleep. I mean, it's insane, but you know what,
they live longer over there they're doing. Okay, so maybe
we need to maybe we need more espresso in our lives. Well,
my DELONGEI loves to spit out espresso. I finally figure
that out. I pushed this button, espresso comes out. I
never knew.

Speaker 12 (17:35):
So cool.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
I know they're keeping me alive. Let's get into those
horse cups. Producer Sam it'ch friday, who you doing them with?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Let's wrap up the week with Hotti Bee.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
All right, Hatti b How much coffee do you drink?
Four to five a day at least? Okay? Yeah, okay,
you're always jittery. I think that's just natural with you.

Speaker 17 (17:54):
Hey, if it's your birthday today, you share it with
Jenna Ortega, Lil Wayne, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Avril Levigne. Get
comfortable with the uncomfortable, stay in your zone, and you'll
never grow. Your day's of nine Aquarius.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
You can't control every outcome. All you can't control is
your contribution to it. Your day's an eight.

Speaker 17 (18:10):
Pisceuse you're a little frazzle. Try writing things down to
get your weekend tasks done more efficiently.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
Your days an eight, Hey, Aries, No one is as
focused on your flaws as you are, so stop dwelling.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Your day's a seven Taurus.

Speaker 17 (18:21):
Sometimes confusion can come off as other feelings. Don't assume
you know someone's motive. Your day is an eight po Gemini.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
Your ideas are spiraling out of you, be careful not
to spill all of them on others.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
Your day's a nine Cancer.

Speaker 17 (18:33):
You can do more to help than you're giving yourself
credit for. Strive for better. Your day's of six Leo.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
You're spreading yourself a bit thin lately. Set boundaries and
then stick to them.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Your day's of ten.

Speaker 17 (18:43):
Virgo, you're entering a period of rebirth. Get ready for
big changes and know they have the potential to be great.
Your days of seven Hey.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Libra, don't be the kind of person who complains and
then never takes action. Use that time wisely.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Your day's a nine Scorpio.

Speaker 17 (18:56):
Remember that although it takes work, love is natural. Don't
force it your days of five.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
And finally, Sagittarius, stop doubting your potential. You have the
power to inspire yourself and others. Your day is a
six and those your Friday morning.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Horoscopes Line nineteen is Jennifer. Yeah, you know, as I said,
we're all a little different. Our bodies are all different
than other bodies. And so as far as you go, Jennifer,
too much caffeine is very bad for you. What happened
do you tell everyone?

Speaker 9 (19:24):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Oh, she's flatlining right now, Jennifer? Is that your Jennifer?
Oh my gosh, are you hooked up? Are you hooked
up to the heart monitor? H I'm being confused by
Oh yeah at a girl? So what happened to you?

Speaker 12 (19:44):
You?

Speaker 3 (19:44):
You we had too much caffeine? And where did you
end up going?

Speaker 10 (19:48):
I ended up in the er twice, two different instances,
because since I'm about thirteen or fourteen, the doctor said
you should avoid caffeine. You're a woman, it's not good
for you. You can yeah, breasted breast, cistic breath, fift
in your breath that yeah, So I avoided it, and

(20:10):
over the course of a few years, I would get
a nice coffee, asked for decasts, hoping that.

Speaker 9 (20:15):
They did the right thing.

Speaker 10 (20:17):
And once it was the fourth of July, I ordered
a large iced tea caf a certain establishment and it
was not decast, and I drank almost the entire thing
before I started feeling like I was having some sort
of cardiac event, and I didn't realize what was happening.
I really thought something was wrong with me, you know,

(20:40):
with my heart. And I went into the er and
they hooked me up to an IVY asked me all
the questions as to what was happening, how I felt,
and they said, you're you have a sensitivity. Because you
don't have it, it's affecting you in a very negative way.
So your best bet is to just drink tea or
anything that's cassie and free that you can monitor if

(21:03):
you order it out. You should get decaf when you
ask fruit. But sometimes people make mistakes.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
So yeah, wow, you know, and a lot of people who.

Speaker 10 (21:11):
Are horrible feeling.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
It's a horrible I can't imagine. So what was it?
Your your pulse was racing your did you get a
little like cold sweaty feeling that kind of thing.

Speaker 10 (21:22):
My hands were shaking, I felt like I was going
to jump out of my skin, and my heart was racing.
I really thought my heart was going to come out
of my chest. I've never saw anything like that.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Well, that's the thing. If you work in the coffee
service business, you know they they mean business. If they
asked for dcaf, give them dcaf. Someone just sent a
text Jennifer saying that they worked at Starbucks at the
mall and if people were super nasty, they would she
would give them decaf without telling them because they they
didn't need any extra jitters in their day. They were
being nasty enough as it were. So I guess it's

(21:56):
okay to pull back like that. Well, Jennifer, I'm glad
you're okay. And and a lot of people start their
day with coffee and maybe they don't know why they're jittering. Well,
I think we just possibly figured that out for you.
Have a great day. Thanks for listening to Okay.

Speaker 10 (22:10):
I love you guys, I have a.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Great We love you too, you too. Yeah. Wow? If
you could go to er and I feel like you're dying.
I think maybe too much coffee there or any coffee
is bad. Danielle, what are you coming up?

Speaker 7 (22:21):
We're gonna talk about Patrick Mahomes his dad body because
that is Trainer approved everybody, And Charlie XCX will be
honored as Hit Maker of the Year.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
We got ludicrous Yes, Yes, and Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Jimmy Fallon right here fabulous, oh my, Mercedes Benz SUVs stylish, powerful,
and sophisticated. Visit mbusa dot com for special offers. Kelly Clarkson, how.

Speaker 18 (22:46):
You doing today morning, Elvis Duran in the Morning Show,
Elvis dan and the Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
There's definitely definitely some excitement in the air coming up.
Let's see, an hour and fifteen minutes from right now
we announce Z one hundred New York's jingle Ball lineup,
and then thirty minutes after that we announce Philadelphia's QB
and O two jingle Ball lineup, and then three hours,
two hours and fifteen minutes from right now. I think

(23:14):
right we announced why one hunderd miamis I know, I know,
and uh, I'm gonna go see all three shows? Can
we all? Can we just go see three? All three?

Speaker 19 (23:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Sure, because I mean some of the same stars are
in some of these shows, all three of them, and
some of them aren't. Some of them have different performers.
That's why we gotta do all three, man, we gotta
test them out.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah, I know one of them has somebody that smells
really nice.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 6 (23:40):
You gotta go to that one.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Sniffing our guests again, let's see. Of course, the last
jingle Ball of the season will be at why one
hundred in Miami, and uh, I can't wait. I can't
wait to fly On, Fly On in party with everyone
because it's it's a very unique show in that it's
the very last stop for a lot of these performers

(24:02):
and a lot of the people who have been working
the jingle Ball concerts, the crew, and so it's very celebratory.
So if you can get tickets for all three of
these New York and Philly and Miami, just take off
the month you don't need to go to work. I
think you'll be very happy that you did. Danielle, you
ready to go?

Speaker 12 (24:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (24:22):
All right, Lee do it.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Well, let's start out with Hoda.

Speaker 7 (24:24):
I know we talked about this late in the show yesterday,
but we love our hod End She will be leaving
today early next year.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
It's big news.

Speaker 7 (24:32):
She said she had her kids late in life. She
was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time.
And she says that, you know, we only have a
little bit of time, not enough, so she wants to
make sure she dedicates it to the right place. So
we love you, Hodah, and we're excited for you and
for your next chapter. So a lot of people say
that Patrick Mahomes he's twenty nine. You know, he plays football,

(24:54):
but he has a dad bod. Well, his dad bod
is actually trainer approved. He's had the same trainer since
he was nine years old. Yes, guys, he had a
trainer at nine years old.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
There you go, wow.

Speaker 7 (25:04):
And can He said he considers him one of the
greatest quarterbacks of all time. And he says, I know
a thing or two and he should not be, you know,
the skinny stick guy. That's not what he needs to be.
For an NFL quarterback. He has to at least have
fourteen percent body fat and he's definitely not unhealthy. He

(25:24):
needs to make sure that when he gets like knocked into,
he can.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Absorb the force. Let's hear for dad bots.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
By the way, I take the contact.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
I'd a trainer at nine years old too. You did
do well just when I started wearing my training brawl.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Oh that's different. That's a little different.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
So they are saying the Academy Awards in March might
look a little bit like the Grammy Awards because Selena Gomez,
Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Cynthia Arrivo, they're all in big
movies and they're all hoping to get an award.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Now.

Speaker 7 (25:55):
You know, Lady Gaga is in The Joker, right, the
New Joker on the way. There's so much buzz around
Wicked with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Rivo. So I mean,
Selina Gomez, I mean, there's a lot of cool things
that can be happening at at the Academy Awards this year.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
So I cannot wait.

Speaker 7 (26:10):
All right, So somebody online figured out that if you
slow down Dolly pardon songs, it sounds exactly like Hosier
and vice versa.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
If you speed up songs, it sounds like Dolly.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Back say that again. Okay, you slow down Dolly, it
sounds like Hosier.

Speaker 7 (26:25):
Yeah, And if you slow down Hosier, it sounds like Dolly.
So here's an example. So, okay, here's Dolly, uh slowed
down sounding like Hosier.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
JOI okay, slowed down.

Speaker 12 (26:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Now, if you speed up Hosier, it sounds like Dolly.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Take me to shop. Let's knock a dog.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
That doesn't sound like that doesn't sound like Dolly.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
That's all was like Hosier sounding like Hosier. Exact, this
is stupid.

Speaker 7 (27:03):
If there's something weird, Okay, well all right, maybe it's
not sped up.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Maybe Oh wait does the clip continue?

Speaker 3 (27:11):
No, no, no, no, I just think it. I just
think it's Dolly Parton slowed down, sounds like Hosier.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Yeah, I don't think vice versa.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
And that was Dolly sounding. That was Dolly singing Joelene
in the beginning, and it sounded like Hozier. So you're right,
you're And then they get his little bonus Hosier in there.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah yeah, they got half that.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Okay, what else you got?

Speaker 12 (27:31):
So?

Speaker 7 (27:31):
Variety has announced that Charlie XCX will be honored as
Hit Maker of the Year at the eighth annual Hit
Maker Celebration on December seventh. You know, it looks back
at the most impactful people on music, and it's an
invitation only brunch. More honorees will be revealed soon. We've
got new music today. Lady Gaga's Harlequin is out. That's
the companion album to The New Joker. You've got the Baby,

(27:54):
He's got something out and Luke Bryan has something out
today too. Wild Robot is in your theaters. The Wild
Rob Megalapala loops megal Is that what you want? They're
saying The Wild Robot is going to be number one?

Speaker 6 (28:06):
I want to see that one.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Yeah, how'd you say? Megalopolos? It takes over the entire marquee.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Also, there's a lot for you to watch at home.

Speaker 8 (28:17):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
You have a Wolves.

Speaker 7 (28:19):
That is on Apple TV Plus. That's a new comedy.
You've got Apartment seven A on Paramount Plus. You've got
a lot of football going down, you have The Walking Dead,
Daryl Dixon, Bob's Burgers. There's a lot of season premieres
this weekend as well, So you may want to just
check it out and.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Stay home and have a glass of wine. And that's
my Danielle report.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
So Wolves, isn't that the George clean In Brad Pitt film?

Speaker 7 (28:42):
Is that?

Speaker 12 (28:42):
That?

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Is that?

Speaker 12 (28:42):
Right?

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Comedy?

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Oh, Okay, I'm not hearing great things about it. No,
but I'm gonna try it. No, I'm not. I'm gonna
try it anyway.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
And then there's some new did you hear about the summit?

Speaker 7 (28:52):
It's a reality competition, So sixteen people are challenged to
climb the New Zealand Alps in fourteen days and then
they obviously earn like a million dollars and a bunch
of other stuff. I was hearing the same thing about
that one that people aren't sor right, there's alps amusing, Yeah,
there are mountains.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
They stole the name from the Alps. Oh okay, so
that's not where the Alps are now, please.

Speaker 7 (29:15):
But apparently, like I keep thinking, there's too many reality
shows and that we're running out of ideas.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Okay, now, let me get this straight. If we slow
down Hosier, it sounds like Dolly Parton, or if you
speed if you speed up Hosier, it sounds like Dolly
Dolly Parton, which ones.

Speaker 16 (29:32):
If you if you speed up Hosier, it's supposed to
sound like Dolly Parton.

Speaker 15 (29:35):
We did not get an example of that, though. We
need to load that example.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Oh I thought, okay, I was told that's okay.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
Well, I'd say it's water under the bridge. What if
we slowed down. Let's go down the list of all
of our favorite performers, and do you see who they
sound like when they slow down we slow down our show.
Oh my god, it seems pretty frigging slow already. Sorry
about that. We are one hour and ten minutes away

(30:02):
from beginning our our journey, our journey to the stages
of jingle Ball in three cities, New York City and
Philadelphia and Miami. We announce all of the performers that
have signed up so far, and we reserve the right
to add more. Okay, keep that in mind.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
That's the fine print. So beginning in one hour and
eight minutes, we start with New York City's jingle Ball.
Make sure you want to Good Morning with Wendy's. Breakfast
Burrito is everything you want for breakfast, fresh cracked eggs,
seasoned potatoes, American cheese, cheese, sauce, bacon, or sausage, all

(30:41):
rolled up into one warm tortilla. Want the boss of
breakfast burritos gotta be Wendy's at participating in us Wendy's in.

Speaker 20 (30:55):
The Morning show.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
You know I can't stop thinking about our time with
Spencer Southerland Yaday on the show. If you missed his
performance and the conversation, if you haven't seen the guy,
you can see it all over our socials. You really
missed out. He really is the total package. And I
was very intrigued. How when he left after the interview,
I looked up to talk to Gandhi and she was gone.

(31:18):
I looked in there and there she is at his
side talking to him, having a great conversation with him.
What'd you talk about with him? If you want to
share it, I don't mind.

Speaker 11 (31:26):
We talked about Columbus because he's from Columbus and I
lived there for a very long time and that's where
I started in radio, and just you know what it's
like coming up and how tough it's been, and how
awesome the program director there is.

Speaker 6 (31:39):
Just you know that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Tell you what his performance on the show. I was
blown away. We're all blown away. Yeah, his energy, his voice,
and I made a big deal out of this on
the interview, and I'll say it again, he did this
incredible performance while sitting down, Yeah, but he sounded like
he was standing up. Does it makes sense to him.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
His voice was flawed, it was insane.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
I mean, if we all stood up into the show,
we would sound totally different. I think, because your diaphragm
isn't bent in half or whatever, and you have more
energy and you know you're just it's different. He's he
did a standard performance while sitting down. What are you doing? Nate?
Sit down? I'm standing up. You're right, you know, I
think I prefer you sitting down.

Speaker 6 (32:22):
I stand up all the time. You guys just can't tell.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Wait, are you standing or sitting?

Speaker 6 (32:27):
I can't right now, I'm sitting. But people can.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Never tells the same height. Yeah, but when when Nate
stands up, he sounds like a superhero. Hello, that's what's up? Scary.
You know, when I.

Speaker 16 (32:38):
Do our reads for our partners, I always stand up
because I want to give it my all. I want
to give it extra energy. I cannot sit down and
do it.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
But not the show.

Speaker 15 (32:48):
What you really laugh from at?

Speaker 6 (32:50):
Everything about that.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
You do give it you're all when you're working with
our partners.

Speaker 15 (32:53):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying, though, you know, whenever
I'm thought he.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
B when it's like when you're standing up there and
you're reading these these things, these things you have to
read for our partner. I am editing. It's a living hell,
isn't it.

Speaker 17 (33:04):
Yes, I have to edit for like four hours for
one fifteen second commercials.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
Scary and you do that air hump. It looks like
you're you're like you're having sex with the air.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
I wish everyone could see that. It's actually entertaining. I
find it, fight and entertained.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Cord it a couple of times. I might have it somewhere.
I'll have to go post it.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Yeah. He stands there. His eyes are closed when he speaking. O, Daniel,
you're back. I'm glad you're back. We're talking about scary
when he does commercials. Yeah, with Scott, With Scotty, he
closes his eyes, he humps the air and he's any
every word has to be edited and moved around. Thank god, Scotty.

Speaker 7 (33:43):
You know seriously, Yeah, everybody always cringes when he has
to come in because they know it's going to take
them forever to edit one of it.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
You missed out. He's just when near down the hall,
he says, so what you know what? I stand up.
I usually give it my all for our sponsors.

Speaker 16 (33:55):
Oh, I'm talking about sit down energy versus stand up energy.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
Well you do you give all of all of us?
You're all anyway, we're talking about spenttro Sutherland yesterday, Danielle
his performance. He did a performance that was so great.
It sounded as if he was standing up, but he
was sitting down. Yeah, does it make sense.

Speaker 7 (34:12):
Yeah, I listened to that whole album, well, the six
tracks that are already released. It's so good and it
it gives you that I know he wants it. He
loves Queen. It's that vibe, that Bohemian rhapsody vibe. If
you love that, you're gonna love this so good.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Yeah, he says he wants the album to have kind
of a rock opera feel. Totally does.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Totally does.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Well, we're gonna pull it up if you missed it.
He was on a little later in the show. We're
gonna revisit that he was on, you know, so an
hour and a half from now, he was on twenty
four hours ago. Do the math. We'll get that sit
down performance. It sounded like he was standing up so good, right,
and it may be scary, can give his performance standing up,
his eyes closed, it, giving it all, giving it all

(34:55):
for our sponsors, our partners. There is that, all right,
So let's get that done and let's do three things
right now. Let's do three things now from Gandhi, and
then when we come back, hopefully the song will be
in and we can play it for you, because I
want you to hear, said Spencer Sutherland. It really is

(35:16):
really is an honor to know that he dropped by
to see us, and he've always been doing this for
a while. I mean, I really think he's kicking down
the wall. I think this is where it really really
kicks into high gear for him, I hope. So sitting
down or standing up, he's pretty amazing, all right, Gandhi?
Three things? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (35:33):
All right?

Speaker 20 (35:34):
Helene?

Speaker 11 (35:34):
Hurricane Helene now the strongest hurricane in history to hit
Florida's Big Bend area. The storm did make landfall late
last night just southeast of Tallahassee.

Speaker 6 (35:43):
As a powerful category.

Speaker 11 (35:45):
For hurricane, Governor DeSantis is warning residents not to let
their guard down. Even though the storm is moving on
and now making its presence known in Georgia, Hazards and
potential disaster will remain throughout the overnight hours and even
after sunrise. Hurricane Helene is now being down graded to
a tropical storm, but millions of people are without power.

Speaker 6 (36:03):
And the region is really struggling right now.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Hey, let's talk for a second about why a person
would choose to stay at home while this devastating, deadly
storm is coming through and they are definitely in harm's way,
and they could be putting other people in harm's way
who come out to try to save them. You know what,
you look at at places like San Francisco that used
to have these massive earthquakes, and you'd say, well, why

(36:27):
do you live there? Move don't live there? Well, that's
their home, right, this is your house, this is everything
that you own. It's your home. They want me just
to like pack up and leave and just leave it behind.
And I'm not saying you should do that, but you
can sort of see people say these people are stupid,
why are they doing that? Well, it's not all stupidity,

(36:48):
it's it's a longing for a home and to protect it. Yeah,
And so you know, I'm not saying it's right to
stay behind. I think I personally would get the hell out. Yeah,
But if you're wondering why some people are standing staying behind,
that's that's why you know foggy year over in Jacksonville.
I know you you've had a lot of rain in
these past couple of hours, or you know it's going

(37:08):
to clear up a little bit later on. Yeah, it
is going to clear up.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
But man, it's a very scary thing when the sheriff
of a town tells you, if you've decided to stay,
you need to write your information on your body in
a permanent marker so we can identify you when this
thing's over. That's when you know you should have left.
But some people just say, you know, They'll say, I've
been here my whole life and I've never left before,
and it's never been that bad. But every single storm
is different, and that's what you have to understand. And

(37:34):
in Tampa this morning, you're waking up to the worst
flood they've had in clear Water since the forties, since
records were kept, and the storm was one hundred miles
off the coast. You don't ever know how they're going
to react until it happens, and sometimes it's too late.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Wow, So there you go. All right, that's one thing.
Two more things to go, a more things.

Speaker 13 (37:52):
All right.

Speaker 11 (37:53):
Negotiations are set to resume today and the strike against
Boeing by machinists. Members of the International Association of Machinists
and Aerospace Workers walked off the job two weeks ago
after rejecting a deal that union leaders thought they'd approve.
Boeing made its best and final offer this week, which
includes raises of thirty percent over four years. Union members
want forty percent and a pension. Both sides will sit

(38:14):
down at the bargaining table with federal mediators as they
try to reach agreements on a new contract to end
the strike. And finally, this sounds like a fun one cut.
My National Park and Preserve is getting ready for its
annual Fat Bear Week celebration, the Contest.

Speaker 6 (38:30):
Yeah, that's the third.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
I'm a bear? How do I get over there?

Speaker 6 (38:33):
No, not for you.

Speaker 11 (38:34):
The contest allows fans to vote for their favorite chunky
bears in a tournament style bracket. Over one point three
million votes were placed last year. The yearly event celebrates
the resilience of the park's twenty two hundred brown bears
as they fatten up for the winter. Contestants will be
announced September thirtieth, and voting takes place from October second
through the eighth and those are your three things.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Thank you guy. It want to hear all about the weird,
wild stories you didn't learn in school. Let my friend
Patty Steele and her podcast, The Backstory with Patty Steel
be your guide. What are you working on, Patty?

Speaker 18 (39:05):
We know all about Paul Revere in his midnight ride.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
But a sixteen year old girl also.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Made a forty mile ride to rally the Colonial troops.
Of course, the guy gets all the credit.

Speaker 17 (39:16):
Listen and subscribe to the Backstory with Patty Steele keys.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Yeah, having Spencer Sutherland here on the show yesterday, I
think and I must, I must tell you guys, and
I hope you agree. I think you guys were totally surprised. Yeah,
at how great of a performer in person he was, right.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
I didn't remember because he had been on so long ago.

Speaker 7 (39:48):
I think his style was a little different back then,
because he even told very different.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
He just found.

Speaker 7 (39:51):
Himself so like, yeah, so I was shocked, and I
was pleasantly surprised.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
Yeah, okay, yeah, let me be very very transparent when
I said, oh my gosh, on the show next week,
a guy Spencer Sutherland remember him? And Daniel's like yeah,
I think you remember him? Yeah and gone He's like no,
never heard of him? I okay. Then we have a
guest today, Spentier Sutherland. I'm like, okay, good, we have
a guess. And then once you came in, you were like, whoa,
this is awesome exact.

Speaker 6 (40:16):
I had no idea what to expect with the clothing
all of it.

Speaker 12 (40:18):
I'm like, what is this?

Speaker 6 (40:19):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (40:20):
I love that. We need more surprises like that. We
need more more things that make you go whoa, Okay,
I get it. Anyway. His album is called The Drama.
Uh It's rocky, It's he also calls it uh rock
opera sounding.

Speaker 7 (40:36):
There's already like five or six songs that have dropped,
so you can pre order that right now.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Go to our socials from yesterday take a look at him.
But here is the performance he gave us yesterday. Drama
Spencer South Drama. Who was awesome? From yesterday's performance from
A Spencer Sutherland. I love how someone on tech said Oh,

(41:04):
that's the guy from TikTok. Yeah, he's on TikTok. He's everywhere.
He's also going on a world tour. He'll be here
in New York I think in March, but he's going
around the world. I mean, this guy's he's living a
dream and he deserves every bit of it. Anyway, the
name of the album is The Drama, so make sure
you pick it up download it today. We do have
a way a free crap phone Tap. I almost had

(41:25):
a thousand dollar free money phone tap. Gandhi and Danielle
went trap seeing through the building and they stole things
on people's desks and you have a chance to win
that nut.

Speaker 12 (41:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 18 (41:36):
Love the Morning Show. It's a good idea to follow
our socials.

Speaker 3 (41:40):

Wildlife Bird Fund in the city. Couldn't do it, called Abby,
Her and Celia got the guy in a box and
put him in an uber.

Speaker 6 (01:00:49):
Celia almost got hit by a bike.

Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
She buckled him in the little seat belt and they
saw Mariah Carey on their way over there.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
So what this is a weird story?

Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
Well, I know, quite an eventful afternoon for them. But
the ultimate headline is, you too are iconic. Thank you

the Wildlife Bird Fund as well or whatever that places.

Speaker 6 (01:01:11):

Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Mariah's limping down the street, we should take her in.
I love Mariah. I wash my god, Mariah, she's already
frozen up for Christmas. And thank you to Celia and
of course to Abby, we love you. What's up with
you today? Straight? Nate?

Speaker 8 (01:01:30):
Okay, big shout out to doctor Matthew Lewis and his
nurse practitioner Melissa. That's my cardiologist and I go every year.
And Elvis, I told you that I went to the
cardiologists and go, oh did they actually find a heart?
And yes they did and it's working, so thank you.
And I got to say, uh, find you a doctor.
If you don't like going to doctors, find you a

(01:01:51):
doctor that you like going to and has good, good
bedside manner. Doctor Lewis, he could definitely teach classes on
bedside manner. The most personable.

Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
Guy to talk to. Please if you talk to him,
learn how to do it right. Yeah. Mine is a
her doctor Kurth. She is my most favorite doctor in
my entireant. Love her. Everyone needs a good doctor. Hey
doctor Gandhi, what's up with you?

Speaker 13 (01:02:14):
Oh?

Speaker 12 (01:02:14):
Hello? All right.

Speaker 11 (01:02:15):
I just want to remind everybody when dealing with companies
that give you contracts, make sure you have every single
thing in writing.

Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
What did iHeart do now.

Speaker 11 (01:02:23):
It wasn't I heeart, thank god, Okay, it was Hurts.
I'm so mad at them right now. We you know,
we had our rental car for off the grid. It
was a one way rental long story shorts. They said
they were going to honor a contract that I had
previously set with another company because that company didn't have
the car. In fact, they are not honoring it, despite
the fact that numerous employees told me, yes, we will

(01:02:45):
honor it. They even hand wrote on the contract we
will honor it. They're not. They're charging me over two
thousand dollars more for the car that I got, and
all of their corporate people are like, oh, sorry, it's
not on the contract. Well, it's written right there.

Speaker 6 (01:02:57):
Somebody wrote it.

Speaker 11 (01:02:58):
The said, we don't know who wrote that. How do
we know you didn't write that. I'm like, okay, now
I'm gonna.

Speaker 13 (01:03:02):
Flip the table.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
Oh wait, this is hurt hurts okay.

Speaker 11 (01:03:05):
And their customer service, by the way, terrible, because I
reached out to numerous people and they're just it's we're
going in circles.

Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Well I always use hurts, but I tell you what,
if this thing isn't solved by them within the next week.
I will never ever step foot in our Hurts card. No,
that's not gonna hurt them. I mean, I guess we're
just a little little beans, but.

Speaker 6 (01:03:23):
All right to use hurts apparently.

Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
Guy, that's their new bumper's deco.

Speaker 6 (01:03:28):
Danielle, I love it Hurts County Days.

Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
This is ridiculous, all right, Well, no, call him out. Hey,
what's up with you?

Speaker 16 (01:03:34):
I feel like my little nephew, Uniko is going in
the direction of wildlife and he may be a future
zoo keeper because whenever we go to amusement parks, he'd
rather go to the aquarium and then go on rides.

Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
And tomorrow maybe is this he's just like sushi? Well
what could be that?

Speaker 16 (01:03:50):
Tomorrow my sister is taking him to join the rest
of us here at the Staten Island Zoo as they
unfold the new reptile exhibit.

Speaker 15 (01:04:00):
Thank you to our friends at north Well Health, awesome
partners of ours.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
So that's going to be great.

Speaker 16 (01:04:05):
So I'll be there with Sam and Scottie b and
whoever else tomorrow.

Speaker 15 (01:04:08):
It's open to the zoo is open to the public.

Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
Stetn Island Zoo.

Speaker 16 (01:04:11):
I encourage it This is important for the education of
the youth to go take them to the zoos and show.

Speaker 15 (01:04:16):
Them what's up and where it's at.

Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
That's right, and that's scary, always looking at it for
the youth of America. And I tell you what. That
reptile wing is looking beautiful at Staten Island Zoo and
on behalf of the zoo. Thank them, and we love
Northwell Health, the official in my mind, the officials, the
official hospitals and system of health for the Staten Island Zoo.
And speaking of Northwell Health, coming into the month of November,

(01:04:41):
we're celebrating November for men's health. Oh yeah, you guys
can absolutely mustache. Oh yeah, I'll start right now. Daniel
celebrates a year round anyway. So we always love partnering
up with north Well Health and it's going to be
just a fantastic month of MOVA. But until then, check
out the upgrades at the Reptile Wing at Staten Island Zoo.

(01:05:05):
We love you north Royal Health very very much. And
there you go. Let's get into the three things we
need to know from Gandhi and then roll on with
today coming up in less than twenty minutes, we give
you the lineup from Q one oh two's jingle Ball
presented by Capitol one in Philadelphia. Wait to hear this list.
This is awesome.

Speaker 12 (01:05:20):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
All right, what's going on? Gandhi?

Speaker 11 (01:05:21):
All right, let's keep talking about Hurricane Helene, who is
the strongest hurricane in history to hit Florida's Big Bend region.
That storm made landfall late last night just to the
southeast area of Tallahassee as a powerful Category four hurricane.
Governor DeSantis is warning residents not to let their guard
down as the storm is moving on and now making

(01:05:41):
its presence zone in Georgia, because hazards and potential disaster
remain throughout the overnight hours even into this morning. Hurricane
Helene has now been downgraded to a tropical storm, but
millions of people in that area are still without power.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams is set to be
arraigned today on a slew of corruption charges. He's been

(01:06:01):
ordered to appear in Federal District Court in Manhattan at noon.
He was indicted Thursday on charges that he accepted bribes
from Turkish officials and funneled money into his campaign as contributions.
He also allegedly accepted at least one hundred thousand dollars
in travel benefits. Adams has remained pretty defiant following the indictment,
vowing to stay in office as he proclaims his innocence.

Speaker 6 (01:06:23):
Daniel, what are you doing? Okay?

Speaker 11 (01:06:26):
And finally doing did you guys see any of the
press conference stuff with him yesterday? People were not happy
that I was cursing him out from a car or
something on a megaphon.

Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
Oh yeah, people were not happy.

Speaker 20 (01:06:37):
That was wild.

Speaker 11 (01:06:38):
And finally, Daniel's not gonna like this story either. The
record setting ball hit by Los Angeles Dodgers star Shoho
Tani that's set to be auctioned off is now the
subject of a lawsuit. We know that he became the
first player to hit fifty home runs and gain fifty
stolen bases in the same season, but now an eighteen
year old is suing. He's claiming he caught the baseball,
but it was yanked from his hands by another fan.

Speaker 6 (01:07:00):
From the game shows a scuffle over that ball, which
we know happens all the time.

Speaker 11 (01:07:04):
The auction has a starting bit of half a million dollars,
or you could buy the ball outright for four point
five million dollars golden auctions. I know, says that they
know about the lawsuit, but they insist that the auction
is still going.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
For give it back to Altani.

Speaker 7 (01:07:17):
It's his ball. Yeah, nobody should have that butt hand.
That's a special ball for him.

Speaker 11 (01:07:21):
Jeff Well, I'm sure that they're assuming he's gonna pay
that four point five million dollars and get the ball.

Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
That's what they do.

Speaker 6 (01:07:25):
They did.

Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
That's a judge too. They kept upping it, helping you
at frigg you and they don't want it that bad.

Speaker 6 (01:07:30):
You're not a fan. If you do that right, it's
not cool. Would you not give give it?

Speaker 11 (01:07:34):
Would you give it back if you could make four
point five million dollars because that's four point five million dollars?

Speaker 7 (01:07:39):
Yes, I would not be able to live with myself.
That's a very special ball for that player.

Speaker 6 (01:07:43):
I don't know what I would do. Yeah, it'd be
a tough one. Those are your three things.

Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
And those are those are major big three things. Thank you, Gandhi.
All right, you know we just gave you the complete
lineup for Z one hundreds jingle Ball percented by Capitol one.
Like I said, coming up fifteen minutes from now ish
we give you Q one O two Philadelphia jingle Ball lineup.

Speaker 3 (01:08:45):

jingle balls on the tour. Yes, I love that those
are our jingle balls. You know what I'm saying. I'm
not saying the other jingle balls aren't fine, but well
they suck compared to ours. Seriously, and when you hear

Speaker 6 (01:10:39):

to be on stage at Q and O two's jingle Ball.
We love you Teddy Swims. Megan Trainer's going to be there,
Racey Abrams, Shahboozy and Dasha and we reserve the right
to add more superstars to the lineup at Q and

into sound with Garrett Garrett, Yes, let's do it. What
do you got going on.

Speaker 14 (01:13:09):
All right, So before we get into new music, let's
talk about the New York City mayor. Mayor Adams a
lot of people. He's in the news for various or reasons,
but one person realized that he has a certain catchphrase
when comparing New York City to other things.

Speaker 22 (01:13:23):
Everyone knows that New York City is the Athens of America.
Is the Istanbul of America, is the Keys of America,
the soul of America.

Speaker 3 (01:13:32):
We are to tel Aviv of America.

Speaker 22 (01:13:33):
New York City is the islama Bad of America, the
Zabgreb of America.

Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
We are the Lima of America.

Speaker 22 (01:13:41):
New York City is Mexico City of America. This is
the Dublin of America. New York City.

Speaker 14 (01:13:50):
Wow, New York City, many of things, many, many of things.

Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
Wow. We're Eastanbul and Dublin yea and Mexico City where everything,
tel Aviv everything, And we're.

Speaker 14 (01:13:58):
Also the keys to the city to all right, let's
talk about some new music that dropped. We'll start with
Kigo and Imagine Dragons. This was called Stars Will Aligne Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:14:19):
Caigo and Imagine Draging. Wow. That's cool.

Speaker 14 (01:14:23):
Now we just talked about Kid LaRoy joining our jingle
Ball Show. And he has some new music that came
out today. It's a remix and it's called Baby I'm
Back from the Player song baby come.

Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
Back like a fast swim and Lamb screaming Baby I'm back,
give me like a fool class.

Speaker 14 (01:14:47):
It's a little original, Yeah, not as you got Rocky,
but still all right.

Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
The Weekend has new music. This is called Timeless.

Speaker 12 (01:14:54):
E Sultanic on over her body. She had a swallow pollen.
Don't mind, I'm all you should let it go, she
wanted to me.

Speaker 3 (01:15:09):
Sounds like the Weekend to me? That sound right there?
All right.

Speaker 14 (01:15:12):
Another one of Danielle's favorites, Craig David, has a song
called in Your Hands and I think it kind of
reminds me of something like from Church.

Speaker 12 (01:15:21):
That you Got the and You Got the and You
Get the Kids song.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
No, yeah, what it was? I think it's he he's
got the whole world in his head.

Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
Remember Craig David did we did we go knocking on
his door once at his apartment building.

Speaker 7 (01:15:49):
When Craig David first hit the scene, Like we took
him in a limo and did this whole big thing
with listeners and like.

Speaker 3 (01:15:54):
You made out with her, you were making that with
him in the vaccine. Yeah, it was me, It was
me making it was all right.

Speaker 14 (01:16:01):
And then finally Kylie Minogue has one called lights Camera Action.

Speaker 12 (01:16:08):
Off.

Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
That's Kylie.

Speaker 1 (01:16:16):
Yep, you bet girl, nice camera action.

Speaker 12 (01:16:22):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
Oh it's always a tiki, Yeah, Kylie remember tiki. Yeah, listen,
this is You're a good American guy.

Speaker 15 (01:16:29):
Thank you so much.

you have a four report ready to go and coming
up in twenty minutes. We'll give you the lineup for

Speaker 20 (01:16:54):
All right?

Speaker 12 (01:16:54):
Well?

Speaker 7 (01:16:55):
Variety has announced that Charlie XCX will be honored as
the Hit Maker of the Year at the eight and
You Will Hit Maker Celebration on December seventh. It will
look back on the year's most impactful music. We know
that it is an invitation only brunch More honorees will
be unveiled soon, so I will keep you posted on that.
So we know that Carrie Underwood is taking over for

(01:17:15):
Katy Perry right in the judge's chair on American Idol,
but apparently Carrie Underwood was not the first choice. Miley
Cyrus was the first choice, but Miley didn't do it,
so Carrie is doing it, and they're saying that she
is taking a big pay cut. She is getting about
half of the twenty five million dollars that Katy Perry

(01:17:37):
took home, so very interesting. People are saying that she's
really not in it for the money. She's not a
greedy person, so that's not why she's in it, and
that's not why she wants to do it, so she's
okay with that.

Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
I thought that was kind of interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:17:48):
First Traveler for the John Wick spinoff, Ballerina is out
now and fans of the franchise are going to be
very excited to see what is in store. Paul Patrol
three is on the way, and Jennifer Hudson will be
lending her voice to the movie, so that's pretty cool.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson rescheduled their boxing match for
November fifteenth. You know that due to the former heavyweights

(01:18:09):
help set back. The week before the fight, Netflix will
be streaming a three part hype series. It's called Countdown
Paul Versus Tyson gwhen's.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
The Funnie has a brand new family member. Did you
see the family member?

Speaker 12 (01:18:22):
Elvis?

Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
It's a baby kitten. It's so cute.

Speaker 3 (01:18:27):
Wait, hold on, did you say a baby what kitten? Yeah,
there's a couple of teas in the world.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
It's a baby.

Speaker 3 (01:18:35):
Can anyway, which borough are we broadcasting from?

Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
I don't even know you're saying Manhattan. So she took
in this little baby kitten.

Speaker 3 (01:18:47):
Wait, actually loved it.

Speaker 1 (01:18:51):
It was sick. It showed up at her home. It
was hardly alive.

Speaker 7 (01:18:54):
She actually took it on the voice to try to
get contestants to pick her as the coach. She used
the cat It's like, look out, cup, my kiddness.

Speaker 1 (01:19:04):
So you want me as your coach? So, anyway, can
you ask you a question?

Speaker 3 (01:19:08):
Yeah, during the cold months in winter, what do you
put on your hands to keep one?

Speaker 12 (01:19:12):
Mittens?

Speaker 3 (01:19:12):
Mittens? Okay? Just checking?

Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
Okay?

Speaker 12 (01:19:16):
Ah?

Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
What else do I have for you? My gosh?

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
So when you're sitting on the toilet. What do you do?

Speaker 1 (01:19:24):
Shut up?

Speaker 6 (01:19:24):
I can't say that.

Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
Okay, good, okay, you got the winners.

Speaker 3 (01:19:29):
Yes you are, you're sitting okay. What would Sean Connery say?
You're doings? Foggy?

Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
Oh gosh.

Speaker 7 (01:19:40):

Speaker 3 (01:20:45):
Wow. That's this weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
Yeah, Saturday.

Speaker 3 (01:20:47):
Wow, that's gonna be an unbelievable show. Thank you, Danielle.
I love you. And you're in Manhattan.

Speaker 12 (01:20:52):
Shut up.

Speaker 3 (01:20:54):
You know what. People are waking up. The sun is
coming up in Florida. Across Florida to see what happened
with Helleen last night? What are we looking at now?
What's going on? What's the latest Froggy?

Speaker 4 (01:21:05):
So far, still over a million people without power in
Florida and now in Georgia as well, so over two
million people without power. The storm has been downgraded to
a tropical storm will be making its way through the
Atlanta area.

Speaker 3 (01:21:16):
Hard to believe.

Speaker 4 (01:21:17):
You know, we're dealing with the hurricane and conditions in Atlanta.

About an hour ago, we announced Z one hundreds jingle

how important this jingle ball is, of course, all three
of our jingle balls are the three most important in
the jingle ball chain. That's not just us saying that.
I hate to tell you, sorry, La, but even corporate
says ours is better than yours. We're the favorites. But anyway,

(01:24:39):
what's so special about the Y one hundred jingle Ball.
It's the last on the jingle Ball tour, meaning all
of the iHeart family members and production members and a
lot of these incredible performers who are going from city
to city to city. This is the last one. So
this is the fun, the final party.

Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
Yeah, they have a great time. Lots of alcohol flowing
back there for that one.

Speaker 3 (01:24:59):
No, not at all. No, No, Diddy is not allowed
uh into case center. No, we're not having a freak off.
It's not it's not the Why one hundred freak call.

when we worked the Y one hundred jingle Ball, you know,
meandering around the backstage area, Everyone's in just a giddy, fun,
festive mood. All the performers who became friends on the

It's just a great concert. So to be in the audience,
to be at Case Center with why one hundreds jingle

(01:25:35):

Oh the fat guy, Yeah, that makes me laugh.

Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
At the time, he was a member of security team
backstage and this is when we used to do it
up in Sunrise right, and uh he was like everyone,
good art of the hallways, move go to where you
knew to me, And he kept yelling at us. He's like,
we need more rooms in the hallways. We got a
good things past and there was plenty of room. He

(01:26:08):
was just this just this man who just wanted to
yell and screen, you know the type. Ye anyway, and
he was a big guy, and I, you know, and
I would look, I've had weight issues my life, and
I shouldn't have said what I said, but he pushed
me to my limits and said, we need more room
in the hallway.

Speaker 12 (01:26:26):
Move.

Speaker 3 (01:26:27):
I said, if you get your fat ass and your
big stomach out of the hallway, we'd have more rooms.

Speaker 23 (01:26:32):
I believe the exact phrase. Where am I supposed to go?
Your stomach's taken up half the hallway. It wasn't my
brightest moment, and I do regret it. I do regret.

Speaker 3 (01:26:44):
That we won't see him down in Miami. I'm so all.
