Speaker 1 (00:02):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
first minute morning show? All right, here we go, the
fifteen minute morning show. If you had a fifteen minute
morning show podcast, what would you talk about? Um? The
awkward fact that there's so much sausage in this room? Yeah,

(00:24):
it's it's all guys. What's up with that? I'm the
only feminine part of this room. Oh, give me a
little bit of credit. There is that, and then great
teas here. We don't know what he's all about. I
would like to think that I'm you know, I can
hang with you. Okay, all right, So it's all guys.
A brodies here. He's very much a man's man, but

(00:44):
not for another man. No one said you needed to be,
because nobody would want me. Do you know one of
the greatest nights of my life? I don't know if
I want to know this? Do we want to hear this?
You don't like that? I don't know. After somewhere okay,
let us somewhere where? Um, the night that I partied
with you, Elvis and you took me into your world,

(01:04):
and I just what do you mean by that? We
went up restoration hardware, we went out, we went out
a gay bar hopping. We went gay bar hopping, and
I gotta tell you it was so much fun. Of course,
it's fun and it's fun to be with me in
any bar. Was that at the time where the guy
was showering on the bar, I was slightly hurting myself. Okay,
that was called a bar that's no longer in New
York City called Splash. Splash was It was a really

(01:28):
famous bar, really big bar, and they had guys and
showers showering right in front of you. Was ripped. I
remember the muscle, top of muscle. They got your hair,
Danielle showering it up. We're glad you're in here. It
was we're talking about the night we all went to Splash.
I took him out to the gay bar and they
had the guys showering on on the bar. He enjoyed

(01:50):
that more than anyone. I swear I was not. But
do you remember when we tried to talk about what
it would be like if it was all girls, Like,
if it's it's guys, it's a saw such fest, right,
And we couldn't come up with an appropriate term for
all girls. What do you call that? I could say, somebody,
what you call that? Fival, but I think that's taco fast.

(02:12):
Can you talk at taco fat taco? I'm looking at bagels.
While we're doing our show, there's a room filled with
people like, who are these people? Okay, so they brought
in these Vegan Robs chips and stuff. This stuff is delicious.
You have to taste them. How many people does it
take to bring in a bag of Vegan Robs. That's
the family. They've been listening to us for years. That's

(02:34):
the pine on that I don't know. Okay, So so
the wonderful people from Vegan Robs are here and they're
all looking at us like we're on like you to
understand something. The way our studios built, it's all glassed in,
so you can be walking in the hallway over here
or in our living room here, but it all look
looks and it's like we're at a zoo and we're
on exhibit. I like to think it was those fish

(02:55):
just swimming around are fishing, but they're all just standing
there because they're excited because they said, he's been listening
to us forever. So that's cool. Which one's Vegan Rob. No,
he works for Vegan Rob. So yeah, you can get
a bit Whole Foods. You just got a free commercial,
this one. I just had the Dragon pops. Holy, you're
going to share with the class? Taking this home with me? Sorry? Own,

(03:18):
which there's like forty of them. There's like forty people here.
Let me see walking out now? Some of them? Are
you executive? So you can imagine? Can you imagine whatever
it is you do for your living if you were
on display, you were on a stage, and anyone and
everyone can walk in at any time and just stare
at you. You know. I guess we should just get

(03:39):
used to it. It's what we do for a living,
and I think if we didn't have it, we'd be
a little bit upset. We wouldn't have the attention, we
wouldn't feel like we're on a stage. We'd be cramped.
Because we've been in some radio stations where their studio
is literally a hole in the wall and you're just
crammed in there. It's a closet, but you don't feel
like you're performing at all. When we were in New Mexico,

(04:00):
I think I had to sit outside the door. We
didn't want you in there. Our studio in Santa Fe
is the size of a closet and you walked into
it like there was a screen door and a wooden door.
It was like my house. Yeah, I know, it's great. Okay. Anyway,
so anyway, so we are on stage. We're in this
aquarium as great case, and look there's new people walking there.

(04:23):
There's new people. These people come here. There's Rob Shooter here.
You kind of like to seat us too. They feel
like fishs R. Well, thank you. We're doing our fifteen
minute morning show podcast. What's up Bronoree for last night?
Dr Os for all the wonderful work you do muscle tough. Congratulations,

(04:44):
thank you? And you look very made up? Are you
doing TV to this morning? I really like it when
somebody does your makeup every morning. I recommend it for
Everybody's such a royal let's talk about Okay, so we
have a name yet it's probably gonna be author. They're not.
These are not like sort of like wacky couples. They're
not going to any Apple or pair, but like Arthur,

(05:06):
Arthur James or maybe Philip after his great grandpa, who's
in his name, typical royal names. Hold. We are beginning
to believe that when they come out and announced the
Royal Baby's arrival. It's always at the same time during
the morning, we feel like and then Kate comes out

(05:26):
looking like she's ready for the runway. We feel the
baby was born like yesterday, and they wait and they
bring the baby announcement out at a special time so
we could be released to the press. No, I think,
I know. I don't think they changed the date of
the birth of the baby. I think they deliberately announced
it at a certain time to make the evening news
in Britain. And I think they want to make all

(05:46):
those TV cameras. Thinks she could have had it to day.
Absolutely doesn't play that game. But how does she come
out I had a baby, you don't come out. She
had some help in the hospital. I think her glam
squad was there. You have a nut down in your area.
There's no hold on, hold on, hold on. You don't
know this, but Danielle tell Rob Shooter and everyone listening.

(06:07):
After you have a baby and you're plumbing is all open.
What happened? Okay, So there's a lot of bleeding that
will be happening for a long period of time, for days,
So you need diaper size things down there. So Kate
walking out like that like it's but I think she
had quite a loose dress on something. She has something
very absorbent going on. You might have had something and

(06:27):
she just had to get from here to there to
the home. I said, maybe they just kind of pushed
her out the door thinking out she had to walk
ten feet or with a smile on her face. I mean,
we're talking about the quicker pick her upper here. This
thing has to be like and now she's back into
the palace and I think that helped there. So yeah,

(06:48):
I think he's going to go and see the baby today.
We thought it was a scandal, yes, straight and I
think it's a body double. I do. I think a
lot of people in prominent politicians and royals. I think
there's a body double involved. Rob Shooter, Where did you
do TV? This work? Good Day New York had friends
Rosanna who did INCREDIB. The raceings are through the roof

(07:10):
on that show. So they asked me to go on
yesterday to talk about the baby, and I couldn't stalls
on Wendy Williams. And there's a little bit of competition
between those two shows. You can't do both on the
same day, So I said the Wendy Show, and so
I went in today and I think I'm going to
do a countdown the week before the wedding. I don't
know anything about anything, but I just sang good accent.
It's the accent, honestly, I rated on this morning. Rosanna

(07:32):
was asking me questions. I didn't know any answers. Char
who knows last say it like Mary Poppins, this is
your super Bowl. You should be charging for your money
this week. I can I can't talk any longer. I'm
going to seriously, seriously rob Shooter. Rob Shooter work on

(07:53):
my British accents, showing up as an expert. I'm all
about it. Right, No, wait a minute, he does all
these shows and makes money. I do all these shows
that don't pay me a penny. Hold on a second,
not to get paid unless right, here's what I do,
and and Nate knows this. If you charge a fee
for doing anything in this business, you're expected to perform
at a certain level. So I'd rather not get paid,

(08:16):
so I can just show up and leave what I want.
What are you gonna fire me? We were talking earlier
about a client who wants me to be on premises
to host this thing, and they're like, well, what do
you want to get paid? I'm like, I don't want
to get paid. I'd rather go for free, so I
can just walk in and leave if I want. Brilliantly,
do you gave this astronomical number to show up to something?

(08:38):
Thinking they would never say yes, and they said yes,
yeah they did. It was Bride's Magazine and Times Square
during Valentine's Day and then Dre went with me and
I split my fee with him. But you had great
tea dresses, cupid, Yes, that's right. They said, we want
you in Times Square on Valentine's Day to host this
bride's magazine. And I've told this story before Bride's Magazine thing,

(09:00):
and they said how much do you want. I'm like, oh,
I don't want to go, and we'll just name your price.
Ten thous dollars okay, And by the way, that was
a long time ago, before we had listeners. I'm sure
we could get more. Said the cash. If you want
to do another one of those, and if you come
with me, I'll split it with you. So I split
it with Tea. So let's do it again. Honestly, but

(09:23):
I'm splitting money with before He's great about that because
he had to do this podcast less different podcast whatever,
and it made a lot of money, made a lot
of money, and he goes, you know what, you do,
have to work. I'll give you half the money. So nice,
he's so great. If we walked away with tens of
thousands have been backed, I beg of you to take
some more of those gigs, and I would love to

(09:43):
be right now, pair of shoes, and then you got
me for whatever you want. I like that. All right,
Let's get onto something else, Brody, what's on your mind?
What's percolating? Percolating up there? I'm trying to figure out
what I can do for you tomorrow to get me
some Harry Potter Broadway show tickets. You know you don't
let me tell you. Broadway is heating up. Yeah, a
lot of new shows. Somebody texted in and said, what
shows do you recommend? What shows you guys like? And

(10:04):
I listed nine and realized I could have kept going.
And then he says, well, what about Disney shows. I
hadn't even mentioned Disney shows. That's how many great shows
are on Broadway right now. Alleged allegedly, and a Stasian
there was an article in the Post the other day
about Broadway shows. There's such a variety of different shows
for different types of people, and they're saying that Broadway
is doing an excellent job at trying to bring in

(10:25):
Middle America and people who just want to see nice, wholesome,
easy to digest shows, nothing too deep, nothing too crazy.
And so you have your SpongeBob SquarePants, you have Frozen, Frozen,
and there's more, and they're saying that, you know, it's
paying off in a way, but in another way, a
lot of the Broadway purists are saying, well, this is
just to homogenized. It's like disnification of Broadway. The thing is,

(10:49):
we have enough theaters, we can support all sorts of live,
live stage shows. You know, why don't you rather have
people in seats and paying tickets and and expanding Broadway
that having a it's in those times broad a broad appeal,
Hello Broadway. I get upset sometimes when they bring in
a celebrity to play the role in a Broadway show,

(11:10):
and I know they do it to bring people to
the seats, but I think of all those amazing Broadway
performers that are nobody knows their names yet, but they're
just so talented that don't get the shot because they
bring in you know whoever. I think sometimes they do
that as a last ditch effort to bring ticket sales up,
but sometimes they do it because they just want to
like switch it up a little bit and get and
get some press. I have to call scary out. You

(11:31):
just said that you should make it for the masses,
and the heck with what the locals think, or get
everybody involved. If they get rid of every Italian restaurant
in your neighborhood and replaced them with theme restaurants so
that everybody could feel good and families could show up,
you'd throw a fit. But I think what Elvis is
saying is that there's room for everybody on the block.
So don't burn down those old school Italian restaurants, you know,

(11:53):
just add to it, add to it with more. And
by the way, Broadway, the the avenue. It wasn't named
after us trying to be like a wide range of things,
is it? No, you can't and you can't pass about.
He said, hello, I just feel like Broadway wasn't the
name came in because it was like a white street.

(12:14):
I thought it was because it's a broad appeal, and
there's so much and it's alting. Broadway is named after
a street, it's not named after a thought. He said,
there was a coincidence that a broad mass appeal could
be thing appeared. It's the literal translation of the Dutch
name broad the gig whatever exactly, which means Broadway like

(12:37):
a white street. It means like a broad street. Man,
you go to pick up broad, don't go my way.
And you know, once again, I heard someone yesterday making
fun of New York accents and they said, where are
you going? I'm going to toy de toyed and toyed.
And you know, I've heard that my entire life growing up.
I've never met anyone who talks like that. That is

(12:59):
not an York Well, my uncle Joe talks like that.
He he's just turlet instead did he say does? But
there are people in New York who say three is tree.
I got treat him, well, I got that, that's that's legit.
And but third doesn't rhyme with odd. Say it's here,
all right? So what else? And you know you've been

(13:21):
very quiet, Gregg t I'm just kind of like, you know,
I don't work today. He made hot dogs in the oven,
and it took them out of a lot of gets
a lot of topics I don't want to. I mean
think like it's gonna go no place like here? What there?
Here's the topic I wanted to talk to you guys about.
Have you ever gotten a piece of mail from one
of your neighbors and instead of giving it back, you

(13:42):
actually opened it up to see what it wants. I've
done that by accident, but I would never do it
perpec could always say you did on an accident because
it came to your Why would I say anything if
I'm never going to give it back to him? I want. Well,
So I got a piece of mail from a neighbor,
like you know, down the street, whatever, and I'm like,
let me see what it is. So I opened it up.

(14:03):
But happened to be like a statement for the mortgage.
You know, Gregory, that my fault. Greg It is your
fault that accidents happen. You should not open mail that's
not addressed. Do you know what I should and shouldn't
I do? But I mean, it's curiosity, man etiquette. It's
a federal crime, but nobody knows, and I'm never gonna
tell you now everybody else listening to this podcast, Oh,

(14:25):
I could have just made the story. Well hold on,
did you send it to them? Or oh? I just
said I said, hey, Tresh, look at this, maybe we
should try to read finance. And now his wife's going
to jail too. What I just said that is very
I don't know. I just I don't you shouldn't do that.

(14:45):
I know what you shouldn't shouldn't do, but I mean,
if you got something else mail, you wouldn't open it up,
which you know what makes it worse is you know
you shouldn't have done it, but all criminals dollars shouldn't
do things. The fifteen Minute Morning Show
