Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Firm Saturday, Melvi.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
The fifteen Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Hello, the fifteen minute Morning Show podcast. I have a
new camera where there you are high Look, yeah, I
know this thing. This camera is a filter on it. It
makes me look at least fifteen thousand years younger, and
I still look old. So there's that anyway, So thank.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
You Fritz for installing the new camera. Let's get go in.
We have a full house.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
We've got Scary and let Scottie be is here, Gandhi
and Danielle and there's Garrett and uh and you and.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Wait and me. But hold on.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Scotty's daughter Cooper is here as well, running around somewhere.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Do you do you always kick her out during this
podcast because it gets too racy?

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I did yesterday. Yes, I asked her if she could
please leave.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
But yesterday fine, did we get racy? I don't recall
getting racy.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I don't know, but I never know what's coming, so
I just want to make sure.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Well, we do have a little controversy about your daughter Cooper.
What happened well, Gandhi Tiaa.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
So Cooper I think is being an amazing entrepreneur. She
has these little bead boxes that she's bringing in. She
makes bracelets. She has very smartly given bracelets to Danielle
and I and then we posted about her business so
that her business can get flooded. She's also selling them.
Her price, Scottie thinks is too high, and he's wandering

(01:31):
around telling everybody not to buy jewelry from his daughter
because she's ripped them off.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
You're shabotaging your daughter.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
How much is it she's only ripping off scary?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
How much is it?

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Well, I mean I think she's when she was here's
the whole thing. I support her entrepreneurialship. However, she tried
this once before, about a year ago, and she would
have all these orders backed up while she was sitting
on the couch watching TikTok videos. And I'm like, Cooper,
you have to like take care of your customers, you know.
So I think the thing if she gets overwhelmed and

(02:01):
she can't keep up with the orders, and well, no,
she sells it online and think for like eight bucks
or something.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Well, I guess I got ripped off then, but I
don't mind it.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
I will do twenty And she sells them for eight.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
Scary off for twenty Oh no, no, no, I said,
I hear there are twenty dollars bracelets that you're selling.
I said, I'll give you twenty dollars for a bracelet,
and she goes, oh my god, I'll be happy to
make it. I'm gonna customize it for you. So just
I'm about to give her money. Scotty's like, don't give
her money.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
That's that's well, that's the story. Okay, that's the story. Espionage. Yeah, yeah,
you're sabotage in your daughter's business.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Espionage and sabotage.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I just think that she's charging you a little bit
more because she knows you're scary and you have all
kinds of money.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Espionage, espionage, you're using inside information to screw over your daughter.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
But you know, you go ahead, Danielle. I'm sorry he's
making me mad.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
If he's willing to pay, then I say just take
the money. Lets you do it and make some bank.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Okay, listen, And I don't call it ripped off. I
just you know she's she's taking the time. There's some
labor involved. I'm supporting local help her get her business
off the ground. Did she give it?

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Did she give you your bracelet. What did she give
it to you?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
No, she didn't.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
She didn't make it yet, Yeah she did. It's all
nice and packaged up.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Where is it?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I'll have to I'll send it in with all Are
you going to wear it?

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Does it say? Scary?

Speaker 7 (03:14):
Yes? Yes, I'm excited for it, and I'm excited to
pay twenty dollars now, she said, you know when she
told me, she goes, she goes, you know what.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Don't pay me until I actually finished it, Yeah, which.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Is nice of her.

Speaker 8 (03:25):
Well, so the other issue, Cooper's been doing this now
for a few days around the studio. So I said,
how much do I owe you? And she goes, I
don't know. And that's what she started telling people when
they asked her how much are the bracelets? You go,
I don't know. I go watch this. I go, Scary,
you're gonna buy a bracelet? And he goes, yeah, he goes,
how much? I go twenty bucks? She goes, oh, and
then and then that's how Scary ended up paying twenty

(03:46):
dollars for the bracelet.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Okay, Cooper's here with the bracelet, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
There you go. See, here's here's the issue.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Scottie Bee is working secretly against his own daughter to
sabotage sabotage your business. You're taking inside information, as I say, espionage.
You are a spy, yes, and you're coming out to
the other team to tell them they are spending way
too much money and in turn you're ruining her business.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
I just feel bad because they're not that expensive. But
security offered the twenty dollars, so I guess, you know,
give it to her.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
I just heard a rumor that it was twenty bucks. Listen,
and I'm not sorry that I spent twenty on it.
Look at this beautiful nicely passed. It's your daughters. That's
the whole point that Gandhi was making. It's your daughter,
and he's.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Acting like a shark from Shark Tank. So first of all,
she gave me a bracelet, was very nice. I had
a ton of beads and things that I wanted to
give her, and I sent him a picture and he's like, great,
it's gonna end up all over my basement. Sure, whatever.
Then he sits they're talking to me about how Cooper's
not going to be able to scale this business, that
he doesn't want it to get too busy because She's
only one person and she can't get overwhelmed. He literally

(04:51):
sounded like Mark Cuban and Shark Tank talking about how
she's not gonna be able to scale. It made me
laugh so hard. But I think she can do it.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
No, I want to help her, and like I said,
I encourage her, but she has to follow through with it.
I need to teach her that, because again, when she
gets overwhelmed, she's just like ah and then goes and
does something else.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
See.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
I'm not a parent, but but isn't there a point
where you protect them too much?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Don't you think you should let her learn the hard
way if she doesn't get all these orders fulfilled. See,
you're protecting her.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
As a father, that's kind of my job, I think.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
Yeah, But she's she's still at an age where I
think she needs to learn.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
So I'll tell her once.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
You tell her twice. If after that she messes it up,
that's on her and she'll have to learn.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Well.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I mean, last time around that she did this, somebody
complained on her YELP thing or whatever that it was
a little bit too small and it broke when they
put it on. She's like whatever, they should buy a
new one. I'm like, no customer service. You should offer
them another one in a bigger size and say so sorry,
you know here, enjoy this one.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
We should promote the small business, it says, And she
gave me a little business. Do want you to Is
it okay?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I mean, I don't care. If there's nothing of Philip.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if
I wouldn't look, why.

Speaker 8 (06:07):
Does Cooper have fifteen thousand orders overnight?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
That scary?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Don't do that.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
But I'm the shipping manager for her too, and you
know it's kind of overwhelming, all right?

Speaker 1 (06:18):
So what else do we have on her list? Our list?
We had a list of things we wanted to talk
about today.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Oh, I have a question. Yes, when somebody says to
you anything you want, whatever you need, just tell me.
Whether it's you know, helping you out with something when
you're not feeling well, or if it's a company that
we work with and they say, hey, anything, go look
at our website, whatever you want, just tell us do
they mean that?

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I think what they mean is they're open for future
conversation about possibly meaning it. Yeah, you know what, And
we were talking about this earlier and Danielle being married
to a bridge, she understands the Europeans versus the Americans.
When we go to visit Europe, we made make new
friends and go, oh my god, anytime you're in the stage,
come see us, we'd love to see you. And then

(07:00):
all of a sudden they show up and we're like,
oh crap, what are they doing here? They take everything
we say literally, and I know it, so we shouldn't say.
It's like we always say, I love you. Two people
who are friends, do we really love them?

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Well, it's yeah, that's debatable.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
So when they offer you all this stuff gandhi, do
you really think they mean it.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
I don't think it's being nice.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
That's why I wanted your help, because Danielle heard it.
When when somebody said, hey, yeah, go look at our website.
Whatever you want. Let us know. We'd love to fill
up your apartment because I'm moving. We'd love to hook
you up. And I looked at the website and I'm like,
I mean, there's a bunch of cool stuff on there.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
But do I.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Actually say I'll take this, this, this, and this or
is that being a prize pig?

Speaker 6 (07:40):
I think I think it's it's to a point. I
think you can't want to take advantage, but you could
probably still lift a couple of things.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Why not.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
I think they might be insulted if you don't like
if you you know, if they offered it and you
don't pick anything, they might be like, well, what's the matter?
You don't want anything? You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (07:56):
They pick one thing?

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah, I think that would be appropriate.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Two or three, two or three things.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Oh my god, furnish apartment.

Speaker 8 (08:05):
It looks like a floor room.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
There's a lot of.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
Things you could get. Believe me, two or.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Three is not a lot of Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
We do say things we don't wholeheartedly mean sometimes right, Yeah,
I have.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
To pay for it today I have Well, I did
the thing where I have friends and I was like, yeah,
whenever you're in the city, let me know. And then
my friend popped up and it's like, hey, I'm in
the city. You want to hang out? But he told
me last night and he's here today only, so now
I have to, I think, go hang out.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
See that we get ourselves into trouble.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
We've had that before where we said to somebody just
and again it's British people, come whenever you want. We
can't wait to have you. And they called us and said,
we're so excited. We're flying in on Christmas Day.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
What damn it?

Speaker 6 (08:53):
And we had to go pick them up and we
had to keep them in there, and then they flew
out on New Year's Day.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Oh yeah, that's another thing. They stay forever. But you
know what, I bet you guys had a great time.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
We had the best time. It was awesome, but it
was just, you know, I was like, they know you're
with your family on Christmas, Like, I don't understand that.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
So so a little homework for tomorrow. I know you
brought up another thing to talk about, Gandhi. I want
to bring it up on the show tomorrow, okay, And
I think it's pretty deep. I love it when we
have these conversations.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Yeah, me too, So I tease it what it is?

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Yes, A woman who studied at the Harvard Happiness Lab said,
after all of her years of learning, what they figured
out is that happiness has absolutely nothing to do with money.
But we'll tell you what it does have to do
with tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Oh hmmm, so good.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Okay, No, you know what, Yeah, you're you maybe saying no, no, no,
money is happiness.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
And I can't. Well, i'll listen tomorrow. We'll see what
going with this, all right? Is there anything else we
need to cover?

Speaker 2 (09:50):
No? No, nope, I think we're good.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
All right, Well let's say bye bye bye. Guys were
listening slash watching

Speaker 2 (10:02):
