Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's get the truth about this event from the Jonas brothers. Hi,
Jonahs brothers, welcome to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hey everyone, good morn now, young brothers.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
We made the big announcement for Jonas Khan. And can
we just start out on a negative?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Oh please, we like to start negative.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
God, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
I always wonder why do we go with con at
the end instead of fest because when I hear con,
I think, oh, what are they scamming me out of?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Now I hear you, Well, it's a villain event, so
it's we're going to be dressed as our favorite Jonas villains.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Yes, okay, makes sense.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
All right, I'm glad we got that cleared up. Okay,
let me just get to the headline. Jonas Khan taking place,
and of course Jonah's brother's home state, New Jersey at
American Dream and our favorite place, our favorite place that Sunday,
March twenty third. Now we don't talk about everything going
on at Jonas Kahn at American Dream, but there's also
a lot of stuff going on in New York City
the day before on Saturday. We don't know any of

(00:57):
that is Is it all secret stuff?

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Er?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Can you tell any of us what that is.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
It's all gonna be secret stuff, you know. I think
the goal for us was, you know, this is twenty
years of the band. We really wanted to celebrate, you know,
everything that was in starting in New Jersey and New
York of course, where we really got our roots going,
and then of course where we're headed in the future.
I think that's what this is all about. But it's
also celebrating our fans and everything that they mean to
us and everything we expect are excited about for the future.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
I like that because it is a gift to the fans.
But it takes me back to when you guys were
kids piling into the van O Kay sometimes made it
to the venue and now not always sometimes it would
make it. But I also take us back to that
concert in Miami. This is before the pandemic, right, remember

(01:43):
that first night you guys were back in the saddle
on the stage. Do you remember the electricity in that
arena that night?

Speaker 5 (01:51):
Unreal? To think that it's started been what six years since.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Then is insane, and it seems like you haven't stopped
at all in six years.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
We've been very busy, I think as to growing men
in our thirties, we just physically have to take breaks,
but we definitely keep things going. I mean, we're just
wrapping up this Christmas movie here in Toronto with Disney
plus Is. It's really funny and we have so many
great cameos and it's been full on. I think we
are all three of us have looked at each other

(02:20):
at times and been like, this kind of hurts my body.
I'm not used to even just hopping off a ledge.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So looking back, like I was telling Elvis before, my gosh,
looking at the pictures that you put on your Instagram,
you guys were so little when you first started, and
I'm like, we were there for all of this. We
were there at all these jingle balls when they were backstage,
and it's just so crazy to see how you guys
have evolved over the years.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
It is wild.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
And we posted this video a few days ago on
Instagram highlighting the last twenty years, saying thank you to
our fans. We wrote a letter as well, and you
see some of these, like moments I kept pausing through
you just you sometimes you forget them and then or
you can never escape them because they're just forever getting
tagged in your photos. Obviously, but even on like moments

(03:09):
where it was emotional for us throughout our journey as
a band or as brothers. As cliche and cheesy as
it may sound, but it comes back to our fans
and obviously you guys as well. Yeah you guys. I
don't know. You guys can't get other jobs because we
keep seeing you so grateful.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
And now seeing our fans walk through their lives.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
You know, we've we've had people get married, engaged at
our shows, bring their children. It's just wild experience.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
To see over the last twenty years. When you take
a step back and think about it, is there one
thing for each of you that stands out more than
the rest?

Speaker 7 (03:46):
I think that you know, having our families come two shows, Yeah,
now is a really special thing. This last tour, specifically
starting at Yankee Stadium.

Speaker 8 (03:59):
I don't want to.

Speaker 9 (03:59):
Give a big secrets away, but at Jonas Kom we're
making some announcements about the tour this year, which we're
incredibly excited about. But anytime we play in the New York,
New Jersey, Long Island areas, it's really special for us.
But Yankees was special. There's there's one more place in
our kind of bucket list. Of places to play that

(04:20):
perhaps we'll play this year. But you know, I think
when we look out and see not only our.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
Fans, but our family, the shows in this kind of
chapter of our life.

Speaker 9 (04:30):
It's really special.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Over the years, what's the one song that most fans
request you guys to sing over and over again?

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Well, that's a loaded question.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
There there's a few, I think, you know, there's obviously
the fan favorites, like Burning Up in SOS and Year
three thousand, but there's a few that we just have
not played in many years.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
The first of all, we ever wrote together a song
called Please Be Mine.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
We wrote in our living room and.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
White Coffee Jersey, and that song kind of helped establish
that this was going to be abandoned and it kind
of started the journey that we went on.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
So please your mind. We don't play it.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Often, but it's one that kind of set the tone
for what the Jonas Brothers would become.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Well, and look how the music has grown with you
over the years. It's been interesting to watch the evolution
of the music along with the evolution of you and
your families. Back to the question that Gandhi was asking
about those moments that stick out over these twenty years.
What about you, Joe and you Kevin, did you think
of something when she asked you.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
That I kind of second Nick's thing about, you know,
seeing the families now at the shows and you know,
now the other day we were here and having on
Alina are at my oldest like just come by herself
with me to these concerts and like just like travel
with me overnight and stuff like and just hang out.
It's like starting to become even more of a family
affair and it's just awesome.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Yeah, there's quite a few, I think, just.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
To like name drop because this is quite fun. We
performed at the White House.

Speaker 8 (05:59):
How many years ago?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
This is when when Paul McCarty is being honored. Yes, yeah,
here two thousand and there's okay, he's wrong. So many
years ago we performed honoring Paul McCartney was and President
Obama was in office, and we just met Paul McCartney

(06:21):
for the first Sir palmccarty for the first time. The
night before he came to our rehearsal and surprised us
and we're playing the baby you can drive my car
and we're like Pau mcarty comes over our shoulder, like,
oh my God. So we performed for him in a
private setting, which was pretty wild. So the next day
it was like a meet and greet line and there's
an everyone from like Jack White, El was Costello, incredible people.

(06:42):
We all watched President Obama come on on the back
lawn in a helicopter to meet us. All we're in
a line of people saying Hi, there's Paul McCartney and
me were like shaking Pal McCarty's hand, but my eyes
looked over to President Obama because he just got into
office and Paul McCarty. Thing's over and he goes like
he clocks that I'm not looking at Paul, and he
just says, it's pretty cool, right, you.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
Know what I wonder?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I'm sure we know the answer. I met Paul McCartney
still gets blown away at moments, you know, we all
do you know, by the way, he's just your joy.
Jonah's brothers. We're talking about Jonahs Khan, which is at
American Dream here in Jersey, March twenty third. What's happening
that day in American Dream? I mean, what is it
for all of his fans that show up for Jonahs Khan?
What are we seeing? What are we doing.

Speaker 8 (07:28):
So, we wanted to create the most kind of epic
day for our fans. So there's activations everything from an
Etsy market where they can go and find exclusive merch
to fireside chats with people that are relevant to our journey,
our life, and then there's you know, going to be

(07:51):
a setup by us, a talk by us to kind
of walk through what the year is going to look like,
as well as some other big surprises we can't review,
but for you know, a Jonas Brothers family, it's going
to be the most epic day. And our maiden passion
is always how do we create moments to really thank
our fans and show them that they not only have

(08:12):
like carried us through you know, this twenty year journey,
which is bizarre to say, but they're the reasons all happened,
So you want to thank them and just create something
that truly embodies the feeling of family and connection. And
of course we're going to play some music and it's
also completely free, which is something I'm so excited about.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Okay, and of course all the impos at Jonas Brothers
dot Com. I'm assuming, yeah, perfect, I ever heard of it? Yeah,
I've been there, I'm there daily sometimes hourly, you know me.
And by the way, I love that it's not only
about the twenty years that are in the rear mirror,
but also maybe twenty years ahead of us. I mean,

(08:53):
you're already talking about a tour. I've heard all sorts
of rumors about what you guys have coming up, and
I'm excited. And also the collaborations you've had over the
years with the incredible artists like I'm going to play
the song with Marshmallow and you guys in a second
slow motion.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Thanks that.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
And I just want to say, on behalf of Z
one hundred and our morning show, we're so so proud
that we've been sort of lined up with you guys
all these years and watching you do your thing and
it's it's an incredible show from afar and of course
when we're in the same room with you as well.
So congratulations on everything you've done.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Okay, he's done.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Okay, kids, right back at you.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
I love you, guys.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
Thanks for all the support over the years, and you know,
here's to twenty more.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Okay, Well, I'll be looking up at you from below anyway.

twenty third, all sorts of things going on the day
