Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Yes, so I'm assuming you're out there talking to Andrew
and Diamond, the two people who got you into trouble
Saturday night.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Yes, and Josh, who has arrived to cause more chaos today.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hey, you in bringing him in here. I want to
talk about this. I want to have a family meeting.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Oh, those are never good.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Can we invite them the brain trust into the room.
I want to talk about the party Saturday night, the
surprise party. So Alex threw me this surprise party. He's
been working on it for over two and a half months.
I had no clue, none, And people keep asking me
you had to know, didn't you don't you know? I'm no,
Oh you come on, you do? No, I didn't. I

(00:43):
had not a clue. So stop asking me that question,
and stop asking me if I had fun. I had
the best time in the world at that party. I
had a great time.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Did you have fun?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yes? Don't ask me if I don't ask me if
I were surprised. I was surprised. That's awesome. May I
tell you how this this unfolded from my point of view? Yeah, yeah,
Alex says Alex is on the board of north Well
Health Hospital, Stutton Island, right, and uh, I'm sorry, I'm speaking.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
He's summoning the brain, the rest of the brain, the brain.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Okay, So Alex is on this board at the hospital,
and he said, they're having a very important dinner and
they want us there. I have to make a speech
to honor someone. I went, okay, let's go. So we
get ready and I'm like, I don't know, you know,
is it okay if I just sit this one out tonight?
I don't know? He said, no, you sure. If you
want to stay home, you can stay home. And I

(01:32):
was like, no, I gotta go. I gotta support you.
So we hopped in the car. We went to Stutton Island.
We went to our friend Peter's new restaurant, which is
beautiful by the way, and uh, they said, well, you know,
the dinner's upstairs. Okay, here we go. And I knew
people they're gonna be sitting at our table and I
love them all. It's going to be a good night. Right.
We get upstairs and I walk in and the room

(01:54):
is sort of empty, but there's a lot of balloons everywhere.
And then everyone's on the other side of the room,
and then screams surprise, and it hit me. I'm like, oh,
dear god, this is a surprise party. No, I didn't
know what to do. I walked out for a second,
I did I was. You see the video of me,

(02:16):
I look drunk because I'm so befuddled. I don't have
no idea what is going on. And then when you
if you've ever been surprised, you look through the crowding
and you see faces that you haven't seen in years.
You see people standing with people who don't know each
other that you you know, you have scandals with both sides,
but now they're talking, you know, yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
That's when I realized with mine that it was my party,
because that same thing they told me it was like
a dinner for real estate agents. So I'm expecting all
these real estate agents to be there. And I walk
in the yell surprise, and I'm like what And then
I look around. I tried to leave, like you, I
don't know why we do that. And then I saw
Froggy and Lisa, Carla, Marie and Anthony, and I'm like,

(02:56):
real estate agents don't know these people, no, they why.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Are these people here? And it's weird, right, It's so weird.
And I was watching the video, I look like I
lost my brain. I looked like Biden trying to make
his way off a stage or somewhere, and I'm like,
I was like lost. I walked into a corner. I
walked into a corner, not knowing where I was anyway.
So then the night began, and it was the most festive,
wonderful thing. I saw food, I saw drinks. I saw

(03:21):
you guys had already been there drinking, obviously Nate anyway,
So I got I started talking to these people I
haven't seen any years, and I just had the best
night of my life. It was just incredible, dancing and
drinking and laughing, Josh pinching my nipples. It was just

(03:42):
kind of a great night. Froggy flew all the way in.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
There was so much love in that room for you.
That's that's what just made everybody happy to watch.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Without doubt, I actually I felt I felt very loved
and I and I was loving back as much as
I could. Therefore, didn't even I had too shrimp, that's
all I had on I didn't even have any cake,
didn't have a birthday.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Cake, food, was amazing.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Don't start.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
I didn't get fary ate enough for you.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
What you had about the food scary. He'll tell you
every porsel of food that was scary.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
What food did you love the most that I didn't
get to eat?

Speaker 5 (04:11):
Well, if we're talking about the appetizers, first of all,
the scouterie board kicked ass, and a ray of cheeses
like I've never seen before.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
And then the egg plant roll of teeny the meat
falls the.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Shrip or dirt.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
That's your.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Corn station, a corner on the they know I love corn,
there's the corn station.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
And then for.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
Dessert, oh my god, they had canolis filled with purple cream,
which was like taro.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
And then and another one was filled with like this
orange cream.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
I've never seen these brownie square.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Never forget the cake.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
And the cake so beautiful. Laura made a beautiful cake.
It was just the whole thing Pete Peter in his
restaurant was anyway, it was.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
The big forgot they passed around in the beginning, scary.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Don't forget about that. And the lobster rolls. I didn't
get one. And there's Gandhi at the bar having another
espresso martine. Yeah, and then some whiskey. Yeah, and then
a couple of shots were pored. Anyway, it was just
mind blowingly bizarre and surreal. It still isn't real to me.
And Alex is like, I can't believe I've been working

(05:15):
on this for two and a half months. And well,
I said, I haven't been working on it. This is
brand new to me. This is like, let me get
through this. But a lot of old friends flew in
from all parts of the country and I'll leave it
at that. But a lot of gifts were brought. I
haven't even opened them yet. I have been so busy
and I'm going to open them today. Yes, Froggy, what's up.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
A really crazy moment for me was my son came
and you met Cayden when he was three. That's when
I joined the show when Kate was three. He is
now twenty one years old. He said to me, came bar,
he goes Dad, I just did a shot with Elvis, Like,
wait a second, he met you and you were three.
You guys are enough shots together.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
It's so awesome crazy, that's so crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
And our friend Dawn was the DJ, and she's not
only does she play the most incredible, really old dance music,
but she's sings, she performs, and everyone we were all dancing,
and the dance we had dancers with lights all over them.
And I don't even know. I could go on and
on and on. If you see the photos online, you
see it. But then after the party, and keep in mind,

(06:21):
I'm the belt of the ball. I don't have time
to eat or really drink a lot, so I'm somewhat together.
Everyone else is smashed. I mean we're picking people up
off the floor and escorting them downstairs, and I mean
it's putting them into cars. And I felt responsible, right,
and you know, some people were crying and fighting. It's
like one of those nights. It's like, ah, anyway, so

(06:42):
we all leave me, hug, we kiss, and I could
go on and on about the party, but I won't.
You can see the pictures. You're good. So Gandhi and
Andrew and who else, Josh, Josh, who's in the room here.
They decided to go back home to Jersey City and
go out and do more, and you did.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
I don't remember when that decision was made, but it
was a good time.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Josh. Do you care to tell us what happened?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Do you remember, not really, I know.

Speaker 7 (07:19):
It started with the ride home and we did a
Disney sing along, which was amazing. Okay, that was like
but then like, I I'm sorry, okay.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
So hold on, so you're singing. You're singing Disney singing
alongs on the car and the ride and then started
why why are you beating each other?

Speaker 7 (07:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Andrew just sometimes like he.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Just makes me exist in the context, and therefore everyone
just decides to wallop me for no reason. I got
out of the car and I just knew that I
was going to get just beat up every time.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Well then and then Josh pushed him down in the
middle of street and turned wrestling with him.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Yeah yeah, and he actually pushed me down low cender
or gravity baby not falling.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
And then you see the video. We've been passing the
video around. Maybe you've seen it. If you look for it,
you'll find it of Josh recording them from behind. And
then Gandhi goes to push Andrew into this fence and
then she falls into him and the fence at the
same time. You saw that, Danielle, right, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Because it was hysterical. I was. I kept replaying it
over and over again.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
No, I didn't know she had that much power behind her.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
I thought it was just gonna be like a little joke,
like ahha, funny, and then I just got shoved into
a fig A construction.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
So it was it was it was like it was
like a big, big pit, yes, like three stories down
into the earth and you could all die.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Let me let me tell you too. So in every
friend group, you have the Josh and I who maybe
hit it a little too hard and don't totally remember
the night, and then you have the Andrew and Diamond
who take notes on everything that happened. And it's the
worst because now they're telling us all the things that happened,
and I hate it.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
I have a picture of Andrew wearing heels. Yeah yeah,
oh my god, she's got to maybe at the bar,
not even look at the bar still, like ankle are
taking their shoes off. Andrew's got massive feet and you
got these little tiny hoofs.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Well.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
So anyway, so Gandhi, I called her the next morning,
go girl, how are you. She's like, uh, Gandhi, what's wrong?
She said. I walked out into my living room and
there's a slice of pizza upside down on a wig box.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I'm what, Yes, that was how I I well. First,
whenever I drink, I knock on wood. I do not
get hungover. I wake up early, like ready to go.
So I was texting these duoe like, guys, you gonna
go to the gym.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
We go to the gym. I come home and I
was like, oh my god, what happened here? There was
like hair on the floor, there's pizza in a wig box.
It just looked like like chaos. I was like, all right,
I guess I gotta clean this off now.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I tell you it was all in all. It was
just even before the Jersey City experiment experiments. We'll call it.
Thank you so much. I missed you, Danielle. We missed
you at the party a lot.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
I missed you guys too. But you know what I
was getting over. You know, we can tell everyone.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
I was getting over COVID guys. Yeah and uh and
you know, so I was just erring on the side
of caution to not bring it to all.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Oh we FaceTime Danielle a wat y.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Oh. I was facetimed so much that night. It was awesome.
I was being passed around on the phone. It was
so much fun, Daniel.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
That turning into a super spreader would have been the
least of our problems. So yeah, but you know what
would have happened.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
The finger would have been pointed, all right't.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Me so well?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I won't tell you this. Everyone asking over and over,
how did you not know this party was going to happen?
And I did not, But there were subtle hints, including
guys Friday in the studio, I say, hey, everyone, what
you're doing? What are you doing this weekend? Well, this
person's doing that, this person's doing that, and Scary says, oh,
I'm going to a birthday party.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
So what I always talk about going to a I said,
I'm going to with a friend's birthday party tomorrow night.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
I think you also said surprise, surprised.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
I have it. I have it. I have the audio
right here on the page. Hold on, this is what
you said on the day before my surprise party, which
I thought was sort of ballsy and short sight of it.
Here here's what you said, get her done, Scary, what
are you doing this weekend?

Speaker 4 (11:07):
I got a party with.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
Some friends tomorrow night. And now Diamond is saying she
wants to go to the mechanme tonight.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
All right. So yeah, so I kind of like slid
it right in the I And what what did he say?
After I left the room?

Speaker 3 (11:20):
So you were walking out of the studio and the
door hadn't even shut, you know, they shut sort of slowly,
and Scary puts his little hands together and he's like,
if you only knew.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
We did that for my party too. Off the air,
he came over to me and he goes, so, what
are your plans tonight? And it was just a normal
Thursday night and I'm like, I'm going to a thing
for a real estate agents. It's this you know benefit
they do every.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Year, and Sheldon, Oh, yeah, where is it.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
I'm like, you know, it's so funny. It's where I
got married. Isn't that cool?

Speaker 7 (11:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
And he's asking me a million questions.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Why do you want to play with fire like that
while you just leave it alone? Yeah, because it's kind
of crazy.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
It's just kind of fun, you know.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
But there was no way you would get that from
that clue because I always go to a party every weekend.
I'm at a friend's party.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
So okay, right, anyway, Well, it was an amazing night.
We danced and we had fun, we laughed, we took
lots of pictures, lots of video. It's all over the place.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
And I was dead to the bitter end. And after
the last dance, let's dance the last dance.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
What came on?

Speaker 5 (12:24):
The DJ played a Christmas song they did share was there?

Speaker 2 (12:28):
And then Alex danced and he started a video but
he looks like dancing the next day and he was like,
what I look like that? Yes, it's the most discombobulated
movement of body parts you will ever see on the
dance floor. Anyway, thank you guys. It was an amazing party.
And I'm not even my birthday's until next Monday.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
More surprises on the way.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
I hope I make it to Monday.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Seriously, you need to rest today, tomorrow and Wednesday so you.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Can somebody no wrong. I am full throttled till August. Okay, okay,
I got friends coming into town, we got stuff to do.
We're good, We're good. But anyway, we had a lot
of fun, and thank you so much. I'm just honored that.
I don't know, I felt so much love and
