about today, I don't even know. Hey, wait, where were you
Gandhi when you were basically kidnapped bya cab driver A taxi driver. Oh
my god. It was when Ilanded here at the Columbus Airport. So
on Friday, because the Memorial Dayweekend holiday was huge and everyone wants to

travel. I have never seen theairport as crowded as it was on Friday.
So the line to catch the shuttlebus to the rental car facility was
hours long. I mean, peoplewere falling asleep. It was chaos.
Wow. Across from that was ataxi stand. So I was like,
hmm, I wonder if I askone of the cab drivers if he will
give me a ride to the rentalcar place and I'll pay him, you

know, like twenty five bucks becauseit's half a mile. Will that work?
So they have people who kind ofdispatch the taxis. I asked that
person. That person said, yeah, no problem, they do it all
the time. Hop on in.I hop in. As soon as I'm
in and the door is shut andwe start moving, the cab driver shuts
off. The meter and says fortyfive dollars. I was like, what

what absolutely not. I said,oh, no, you can just let
me out. That's okay. BecauseI didn't want to haggle with him.
I didn't want to argue. Isaid, that's fine, just let me
out. He wouldn't let me out. There were three different places where I
could have gotten out safely. Hewould not stop. He passed the rental
car company and goes to the highway. So now I'm getting very nervous.
I started recording it on my phone. I was like, oh my god,

Oh my god. Yeah, Sohe pulls over on the side of
the highway and goes get out.I said, what you want me to
get out on the side of thehighway, He said, I told you
forty five dollars. If you're notgoing to pay me forty five dollars,
get out of my car. Soyou're not getting anything at this point.
But what you are doing is veryunsafe. I'm going to call the police
because I'm not sure what else todo. I'm not going to stand on
the side of the freaking highway.This is crazy. It's dangerous for you,

it's dangerous for me. This isa bad idea. This is not
good. He finally turns around andgoes back to the rental car place.
And as I'm getting out of thecar. Now, once we got there,
I got a little more bold becauseI was really agree at that point.
So now we're yelling at it.We were yelling at each other.
He was telling me I'm a badperson. I'm going to hell, I'm
the worst. But that's crazy,right, that is kidnap. He took

me away from the place, andI was trying to without doubt, okay,
without doubt. So what do youdo in that situation? Like what
it was? What did you do? You got out safely, then this
is the good news. But whatdid you do to follow up on this
thing? So? I got hisphone number, I got his license plate,
I got his name and the nameof the company. The company doesn't
seem to care or want to doanything about it. It's like a family
owned type of thing where you call, you get the voicemail, nobody calls

you back. I left a Googlereview about it. A couple of people
were saying I should tell the policewhat happened because that's super dangerous. But
I don't know. I don't knowif I want to escalate it to that
level, I'm not sure what todo. But it was definitely scary and
crazy, and I'm pretty sure that'sillegal. You can't just shut off your
meter and then tell somebody a differentprice than the initial quote right when they're
in your car. Well, look, look there's a disagreement over the price.

Obviously I get that. Yeah,but you don't just drive and not
let someone out dump them on thehighway. Yes, there were three places,
like if you know this airport,there's a hotel, there's a McDonald's,
and then there's a rental lot ora car like a shuttle lot,
whatever it is, on the wayover there. He could have stopped at
any of those places, and hedidn't, and then he passed the other

thee police involved, because what ifthis had happened to like a young girl
