Speaker 1 (00:02):
Is this true about what you did with this puppy?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
So whenever I was fourteen years old, I was a
little bit impulsive and unhinged, and I found out that
one of my sister's friends something had puppies and I
all I ever wanted was a puppy. So I went
to my bank account and I withdrew four hundred dollars
and I bought the puppy and I took it home
and I just didn't tell my mom and I just

(00:29):
like lived with it without telling my mom.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
For you get a puppy in your bedroom for how
long before your mother discovered?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I think a week or so.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
And did it not make any noise?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
No, my dog's like super well behaved. She's just like
quiet and chill, and like I had like a door
in my room so I had easy accessed outside.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Can you imagine sneaking a puppy for a couple of
weeks and no one in the house knows. I mean,
so how did the discovery roll out?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
I just was like, I have a dog, and then
she's like, why do you have a dog? And then
it was just like two late to give it back.
So wow, And my sister also like did the same thing,
but she lived in the basement, so it was just
like it was a holor deal.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
You have this menagerie going on and your your mom's clueless, like,
no idea.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I think that's fascinating.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
We had like other dogs, so she's like distracted by them.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Wow, okay, yeah, well what did she do when she
found out?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
She's just like, h I can't do anything now, and
like I'm still the dog. She's six years old.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Now, Wow, what's your dog's name? Brooke?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Hey, Brook the covert dog. We love that, all right, Well,
thanks for sharing that. I think that's fascinating. You know
this happened to Gandhi too, but not with a dog.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
No. So, my dad accidentally killed my frog when I
was little and my mom was out of town. So
in order to make it up for me, he took
me to the pet store and let me pick out
a bird and he said, do not tell your mother.
I was like, what do you mean. He said, your
bed is kind of tall, keep it on the other
side of your bed. I will tell mom when the
time's right. Okay, cool. My mom comes home from being
out of town, walked into my room, heard chirping within

(02:02):
ten seconds and was like, what what is that? I
tried to act like I didn't know. She just walked
around to the side of my bed and stared at
me like mm hmm, and immediately yells for my dad.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Can you hide a herd? Oh? She was little.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
That was my dad's plan, right, a terrible plan.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Obviously, you can't hide a bird. We'd learned that quickly.
The chirping gave it away.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Don't tell your mom. I was like, okay, cool, sound
sounds legit.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I like this text.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
This text says my brother and I snuck up bunny
into our house when we were small. My parents didn't
know until the next morning, when my brother told him
out of fear. It was starving because we had no
food for the bunny. What are you gonna do sneaking
in animals?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
This is fascinating. Leave it to Gandhi to do something like, No,
it was my dad.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
My dad did it. I was just an accomplished but
I was so happy to have chummy, and she didn't
make me take him back. I got to keep him
until he was, you know, no longer. He was the
coolest bird ever.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
What made this? But what was the bird's name? Against Chummy. Yeah,
so what was so cool about Chummy the bird?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
He was very calm and he would sit on my
shoulder and go everywhere with me and just not try
to leave. He was just the best. He was awesome.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I loved him so much. So your mom warmed up
to Chummy after a while.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Oh yeah, my mom loved Chummy too. Eventually she just
you know, was mad at my dad for like a month.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
All right, I love her. Good happy ending. Yeah, I
love that anyway.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Well, thanks for sharing Hiding your pets On the next
