This week on Between Two Beers we talk to David Nyika.
David is one of NZ’s best boxers. He’s won two Commonwealth Games gold medals, an Olympic bronze, was the NZ flagbearer at the Rio Olympics and since turning professional has a record of nine fights, nine wins.
In this episode we hear his best stories from training with Tyson Fury and Israel Adesanya, the highs of winning gold, and the lows of 2020, the influence David Galbraith and Sarah Walker have has on his outlook, dating his trainer’s daughter, what life looks like after boxing and his upcoming headline fight in Auckland.
David is one of the nicest guys in boxing. He’s thoughtful and fun and has a huge future ahead of him, we were so stoked to grab some of his time when he was briefly back in NZ.
We’re also super stoked to tell you about the business we’ve built. If you’d like to hire one of our incredible guests to speak at or MC your event, check out our epic lineup at B2Bspeakers.co.nz and get in touch.
