Adam & Megan talk with Rikki Reed Davis A Hawke's Bay local who found himself in the thick of the initial cyclone devastation, freezing cold, and clinging to a tree in Esk Valley he was rescued by the quote of the year 2023 holders  Mikey Kihi, Rikki Kihi and Morehu Maxwell. "Nah, we're just three Māori boys" as the water raged around him.

His venue became a hub for residents and for Mental Health support in the months following Cyclone Gabrielle. Greg was already well known for his support and fundraising for Gumboot Friday and was a huge supporter of his devestated community.

Another day, another AIMS Games in the Bay! This time we headed down the road to the QEYC to have a look at some of the Table Tennis and Badminton Games. We caught up with some awesome people and even got the Whakatane Intermediate Badminton team to give us the best cheer we've heard yet.

Despite being a rainy day in the Bay of Plenty, it didn't stop us or our athletes from taking part in today's AIMS Games. This time we took a drive over to the Tauranga BMX park to talk to some very wet but very excited racers. While we were at it, we checked in over at the Gymnastics and got some schools across NZ to give us their best cheers! Have a listen to how they did.
