Aaron Dahmen: Newstalk ZB Chief Political Reporter on National unveiling their 2023 party list

National's Chris Luxon yesterday unveiled his party's list of candidates for the upcoming election- and he's promised a strong offering.

The top five on National's list are Luxon, Nicola Willis, Chris Bishop, Shane Reti and Paul Goldsmith.

A new face is high up- Harvard Kennedy School graduate Nancy Lu is at 20 and the highest ranked new candidate.

Newstalk ZB Chief Political Reporter Aaron Dahmen says National's list shows the party is trying to push their fresh blood in front of voters- while muscling out old talent.
