And soon the southern town will be bustling with international tourists once again, when Australians flock there once the trans-Tasman bubble begins.
Travel blogger Megan Singleton is leading a group tour down there before the bubble begins. She joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss the atmosphere around the town, and what they are getting up to on the tour.
