This week on the Sunday Panel, The Front Page podcast's Damien Venuto and Coast's Lorna Riley joined in on a discussion about the following:

Co-governance- a column by Heather du Plessis-Allan discussed the newly-released poll showing that 48 per cent of respondents want a referendum on Māori co-governance. Only 17 per cent said no. ACT is the only party backing a referendum on co-governance and every other party either outright rejects it or says it isn’t important. But are we just putting our heads in the sand? Is it a conversation we will need to have at some point? Does it need to be divisive- could it be constructive?

What did we think of the pre-election debates? The reaction to the first set of debates has been lukewarm- do they need shaking up? Do we need to take away the folder of notes and try and get more genuine answers out of politicians rather than their heavily rehearsed answers? How do we make debates more entertaining and informative?
