I was fighting in my past as also hiding who
I was every conversation, every interaction, every Monday at the
smoke pit, when everybody's talking about their weekend and I
have to lie or at least change the subject or
ask about someone else's. I could never say where I was,

what I was doing, who I was with.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
And doctor Barrett Rollins, whose wife kept from him an
enormous and heartbreaking secret.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
I said, okay, well, I'm going to call nine one
one and she said, don't you dare? And I said,
I was going to do it again. And one of
the only times she's raised her voice at me was
she's screamed, don't you dare do that. I will never
forgive you when you do that. And I said, what
do you want? I just don't want to die alone.
