Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Movie Crush, a production of I Heart Radio.
(00:28):
Hey everybody, and welcome to Movie Crush, Mini Crush. It's
Christmas Day, hallelujah? Is that what they say on Christmas Day?
It's Christmas? No, believe it. I believe that it's Christmas. Yes,
I do. The calendar attest to this. It's not actually
Christmas for us right now, and that, of course we're
(00:49):
going to operate as though it is, because for all
intents and purposes, it is for us all now, that's
right now. What's your favorite Christmas song? Oh? Man, you
know um Let it snow is cute. I like it.
I like the whole part about Parson Brown. Well in
the in the we could build a snowman and pretend
that he is Parson Brown. For sure. I used to
(01:11):
think it was like name dropping some old timey celebrity,
and I recently realized it's just like a parson who
is like a prep preacher, uh, and it's just meant
to be the local, the local parson by the name
of Brown. Parson Brown. He's a stand up guy, so
I hear. I've I've had some dealings with Parson Brown.
I couldn't speak more highly of him, Uh, my favorite
(01:32):
Christmas song? Since you didn't ask. I was going to
ask Chuck. I was still dwelling on Parson Brown. Sorry
is uh? I don't know. I like a lot of
the you know, the Tom Tom Petty's Christmas song is great?
What is I don't know this one? What's it called? Um?
Tom Petty Christmas song? It is called Christmas all over Again?
(01:56):
Of course I couldn't. I couldn't think of except so
many songs swirling my oh. I like that John Lennon one.
So this is Christmas yeah something, and it's probably a
little bit done, it's old. It's certainly better than the
the Paul McCartney one Wonderful Christmas Time, which will make
the waitresses. Christmas song is Emily's favorite, and it's a
(02:17):
really good one. Maybe Christmas, maybe Christmas. I hope you
have the what is it? How's it go? I don't
know this year. It's a it's a fun song. But
Christmas all over Again by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
is great. It's um at the very end, I mean,
it's a good song because it's Tom Petty, but at
the very end, as it's sort of fading out, Tom
(02:38):
Petty and that great Gainesville, Florida. The accent of his goes.
You know. For Christmas this year, I wanna something about
a Ricking Backer guitar. A uh no, it was heys
for not a Marshal amp. He asked for musical gear
and it's the cutest thing. In fact, I'm gonna look
(03:02):
and see if over again. I bet you it doesn't
show the end. Oh yeah, I want a new rick
and Becker guitar, two Fender basement's a chuck Berry songbook xylophone,
a xylophone. That's a nice twist. Oh my gosh, he
(03:22):
needs two Fender basements. That's a lot. That's a lot
of that's a lot of power. It's a lot of
a lot of amperage. So funny. But those basement apps,
I think they were like built to be bass guitar amps,
but then they just were like you know, people just
love them for electric guitar. Yeah. I played through my
vox for my guitar. And then in the band, you know,
I kind of stock to the band room with gear
so it would just live here. Uh And the dudes
(03:45):
didn't have to bring over stuff, you know when they came.
So for Eddie. I got a Fender twin silver face
that's just so goddamn loud. It's a very loud amnal Yeah. Yeah,
I've got an Orange to twelve app that that has
the potential to get quite loud, but I use it
for recording mainly. I only play out very much these days,
(04:07):
or having in a while, and I tend to turn
it kind of low and just close my kit and
make it kind of that way A lot of fun. Yeah,
it's uh the vox. I just I didn't get the
a c uh, I got the forty because as opposed
to that, what is it a sixty? Now? Why am I?
I can't think of anything today? Nol It's Christmas other
one with a single speaker, Yeah, A thirty. Yeah, that's
(04:31):
the exactly. But there's there's a bigger one though. Yeah,
there's the the double, which is you don't need that
much in the basement first of all, and even when
you play gigs, uh, you just you know you might
get up. It sounds totally agreed, all right. Well, now
that we've gotten our gear porn out of the way,
(04:52):
let's uh, yeah, what have we been talking about? So? No,
this Christmas we I think we did this last year.
I can't remember, but what I decided to do was
to not talk about Christmas movies or anything like that,
but simply to say, leave a holiday message for somebody
and we'll read him. Oh that's nice, and that's it. No,
(05:14):
these are gonna be holiday messages. Messages. Am I drunk?
I think you might just be having a stroke. Chuck,
that's not funny, something to worry about. Uh. So we're
gonna start off with Rebecca Robe, one of our favorite
people on the planet. Merry Christmas to my amazing sister,
a person who never ceases to make me laugh, to think,
(05:34):
to love. You're my hero and I'm in constant awe
of the fight you have in you. I will always
remember winter mornings in front of the furnace with you
reading to me, being curled up on the couch watching
horrible horror movies, and how your laugh makes me feel
more at home than any place on Earth. I love you, sister.
Blister Jesus Robe, you can make me cry on the
(05:54):
first one. I can't take the stuff and nol, yeah,
you can chuck your You should read some of these, Yeah,
give it to me. How do I how do I
how do I get in on this? Oh well, it's
a site called Facebook and a movie crush. I've heard
of it with Chuck Bryant. All right, you read a
couple more and I'll get there. Yeah, get there. Uh.
Courtney Huber says Mary Christmas, Christmas to my fiance Jeremy.
(06:16):
He's not on Facebook anymore and rolls his eyes every
time I started conversation. So my movie podcast or my
movie podcast group, and he listens to me anyway. Good
on you, Jeremy. Jade right, Hi, Jade says Merry Christmas
to my husband David. Even after spending almost a full
year in lockdown with you, I can't wait to spend
every day over Christmas with you in the pit, watching
(06:38):
movies and eating everything. Brittany Story, one of her old friends.
That's a very sweet thing to say, Wishing a happy
holiday season to anyone struggling with loneliness during this difficult time.
This time of the year can be challenging for so
many people, but social isolation due the pandemic adds insult
to injury. Keep your head up. This won't last forever.
I guarantee that you mean more to someone. Uh, Somewhere
(07:00):
you know you're important and you are loved. Uh. Now
all are you with us? Now? I'm with you, sir.
I've got one from Aaron Cooper, top fan and friend
of all the shows, photoshop master extraordinaire and lovely human.
Uh and and I love this cryptic message he leaves.
It just says, Hilbow, your hair looks small, Coop. I
(07:25):
love that. J del Korro says, Merry Christmas to all
the small restaurant owners trying to survive during lockdown. Please
support your local restaurants by ordering direct and Palti pass
delivery apps. Stay strong, stay safe, have a loving holiday
season on you ja. Yeah no, it's true. It's tough.
I mean, in the best of times, the restaurant game
is brutal and uh, you know, and I think someone
(07:47):
I saw a post from a chef the other day.
I was saying, like, if you're thinking like, oh, if
only I had known that my favorite spot was struggling, well,
just know that they all are so just is uh
No one's killed in it? Yeah, no, it's true. Um,
here's one from Dylan Thomas saying Merry Christmas to my
smoke show of a wife. Love the words smoke Show.
(08:07):
I'm so incredibly honored to be your hubs and our
kids are all right too. Also, Happy holidays to anyone
who doesn't do Christmas. You are valid and loved as well.
Here here totally uh. Mary dobri And says this Merry
Christmas from Cologne to my friend Jessica in California. I
just found out you were also a crusher. Of course
you are, Stay well and lots of love. I'll go
(08:30):

all the crushers. I'm thankful for this group. You were
the nicest bunch and make this year a bit easier
to get through. This one's from Charles Martin, Acker's top fan.
Um lovely message. Happy Holidays to Chuck in Noel, thank
you for another year of crushing. Warmest wishes to the
fun and crazy old pals. Was something, but I know
(08:54):
the movie Crushed Pod and the Crushers helped so many
of us get through it. Here's to one uh parentheses,
question mark and then hang tight, loose, surfy you know,
finger pinky thumb emoji thing. Richard c Anderson says this
Mary Christmas to my wife Becca, Thank you for making
this time of the year so special. Wouldn't be the
(09:15):

Chuck and Noll, and thank you Um. Sarah bum Gardner says,
wishing a peaceful and joyful season to those who have
endured the loss of a loved one this year or
in years past and are still missing them. Mama, I
carry you in my heart always and miss you most
this time of year. Very very sweet. Lisa Pott says this,
(09:38):
wishing everyone a bright and happy holiday except you. You
know who you are. It's me? Is it me? That
was definitely me? Chuck Okay. Robin Shifflet says, just in
case you can hear this, Merry Christmas, Dad, we love
and miss you so much. I'm so sorry we couldn't
be with you when you left. I'm trying my best
(09:58):
to be the best part of you every day. Jeez uh.
Josh Burns says this. Betty White and David Attenborough. I
have cherished you both for as long as I can remember.
You've both made the world better. I hope you get
the very best awful jokes in your bond bonds. Very
(10:19):
coded message, Noel love the cryptic Christmas. Grahams here. Uh.
Greg Gurka says, we're probably listening in the car on
our way to Wisconsin, perhaps somewhere in the middle of
Iowa currently. Wouldn't that be cool? Polly, I love you
very much, thanks for being a great co pilot, and
cheers to our first year as parents. I'm not kidding,
(10:42):
I'm actually feeling it right now. Um. And to my
new son Miles, You're the best darn kid a dad
could ask for and I can't wait to share your
first Christmas with you back where I grew up. Love you,
chucking ole. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Wonderful,
just so wonderful. I'm not kidding, I am. I am
actually tearing up a little bit right now. I am
to know. It's hard not to. We don't have hearts
(11:02):
of stone noll. We have hearts made up of uh
fleshy coop, whatever art is made up. That's that's the
that's the scientific term. Emily Grant says, Merry Christmas, Johnny cakes, Dad,
(11:23):
thanks for supporting me through the tough year. The hugs
and flowers always make me smile. I hope you have
a beer in the shower. Kind of Christmas. Heck, yeah,
I had my first shower beer recently. It was delightful. Yeah,
it was great. It was great and nice. It was
super nice. I have a nice little ridge in my
shower too. That's sort of like protected protected from the
from the water. Um. Here's one from Yvonne No yawn,
(11:46):
I think I'm not sure why v a n Ivan Bodette.
Yes to my dear wife, Grace. I know it can't
be easy living with me, but you're the best wife
and mother a guy can ever have. We love you. Um. Next,
Grant Woody says, happiest of holidays to Chuck and Nol
and all the Crushers. Thanks for giving me a continued
(12:06):
source for laughs and movie based escape from I feel
lucky to have the podcast and group in my day
to day life. Right back at your Grant, Very nice.
Uh Tera Lee Chaw says Merry Christmas to my husband
and co Homer Mike. We had a pretty great planning
for ourselves back in twenty nine, and although literally none
of it happened, I'm so grateful to you for turning
(12:27):
our losses into new opportunities. You made the best that
could possibly be and I love, love, I'm sorry, I
love you. I thought she said i'd love love you,
but that's fine. She just loves you once. And I
love you and your face, Emily, and I say that
a lot. I love your face. Yeah, I'm fond of
that as well. Um got one here from Teresa Barker
(12:49):
Um saying last year I left a message for my
daughter and son in law, who are expecting their first
baby this year. I want to tell them how proud
I am of the parents they are. And to my
grandson lou Ellen, Grammy loves you, Cubby. Merry first Christmas.
It's nice Grammy uh and Barry says, Merry Christmas to
my dear beautiful daughter working on the snow fields in Canada,
(13:10):
all the way from Melbourne, Australia. I know you struggle
so much with your anxiety, baby girl, but I'm so
proud of how brave you are, braver than I could
have ever been at the age of twenty. I love you.
Can't wait to see you when you come home in May.
And then she says thanks to Annle Merry Christmas to
you and your families. It's very nice. It is nice.
(13:31):
From Andy Long to all the people myself included who
are reluctantly but safely celebrating Christmas far from their families
and loved ones. Have hoped for an infinitely more normal
and be thankful for the convenient technology we have to
make a socially distant Christmas less lonely than it could
otherwise be. I think this is key and not to
be taken for granted. I want to put that out there.
(13:52):
I think a lot of people are like Zoom Zoom
Zoom zoom schmoom was twenty years ago, like Night and Mary,
total total isolation. Um. Happy Holidays to the movie Crush
Slash s y s K teams, and cheers to another
successful year of outstanding contents. Wonderful Jason LaRue says to
everyone struggling during this trying time, we got this. May
(14:15):
feel like we're spinning our wheels and going nowhere, but
we're in this together. The light is at the end
of the tunnel. Uh. We'll finish stronger than we were
when this all started. May everyone have a beautiful and
bless holiday season. Let's a lovely, lovely thing to say, Jason. Uh.
Here's one from Diana Meryl, Merry Christmas and Happy Tidings.
To the movie Crushers. You've truly made this intolerable year
(14:36):
more than acceptable with your great kindness, encouraging words, and
exquisite senses of humor. Totally. Uh. This is from top
Fans Are Chili great name. Merry Christmas to the childer's
family and friends or childrens, I'm not sure, probably childers.
Hope everyone out there has a fun, happy and healthy holiday.
(14:57):
Hope the new year is better, happier and healthier for everyone.
Take care. This one comes from Christina Marsden. Uh. Aaron
Tiberius Minds is my favorite person in the world. I
waited forever for him to say I love you first
so I could say I know after years of being friends,
colleagues and a couple. He said that I must love
(15:18):
him to throw him a birthday party. I said I did,
He said, I know, ha, What a dick. He stole
my han solo moment. He also introduced me to podcasts
and he's a great cat dad. Nice. Rebecca Pasco says
Happy Holidays in belated birthday. Jordan Spence, So proud of
what you've achieved during this immensely challenging year. I cannot
(15:39):
wait to see you again. One day somewhere lots of
love from your oldest pal. Well kinda and uh, I'll
go ahead and read the reply here. Why not, Jordan
Spence said Rebecca Pascal, Oh, I miss you. Now that
the borders have opened up, we may be able to
see each other again soon. I'm not crying, you're crying,
(16:00):
Rebecca says, I've just been cutting onions. I'm making a
lasagna for one, so they're they're obviously separated by a
Canadian border. And uh that that should is real, man, No, no,
no question, no question. Um, maybe we'll do a few more. Yet,
we we got so many we couldn't possibly do them all,
but um, please check them out on the movie crush page. Um.
(16:23):
There there's there's a lot of hundreds of these, uh,
and they're all equally delightful. This one's from Carrie O'Neil.
Merry Christmas to my love Mike. This holiday has been
hard due to the loss of loved ones. I've been
an emotional mess and he's been stressed. But through it
all he stood by me, took care of the kids
and house. When I was too sad to move, he
scratched my head until I fell asleep. When I was
(16:43):
too exhausted to talk, and even though I didn't feel
like celebrating my birthday this year, he did what he
could to let me relax and help me feel special.
None of us are perfect, but he tries so hard
to show me what genuine love looks like. So thank you, honey,
Thank you for being my person, Thank you for loving
me through it all. Merry Christmas. I love no man,
(17:04):
people finding their people nothing better. Brian Poudell says, Merry Christmas,
Elwyn Silas and Asher. I know it's been a tough
year not seeing your friends and family the way you
would want, but I'm so proud of you. I couldn't
ask for better kiddos. Wendy Roberts says, Happy Holidays, Crushers.
This community has literally kept me going through the craptastic year.
(17:27):
Uh and I love how supportive, been funny you all are.
I've made some fun friends and love you all. J
j uh uh Leatso says best regards. We forgive you,
I don't do you forgive Absolutely sucks is cancel, It's
a real jerk. Uh. Tyler Peter says, Merry Christmas to
(17:51):
my second family. Let me know I'm sorry you let
me into your house during a dark time in my life.
I now know what it means to be a loving parent, brother, sister,
and family. I don't know where i'd be without you.
I love you, Canty family. That's great. Everyone's got a story, Noll.
I know, I know it's true. We all have a story.
(18:12):
It's nice to see these now, it really is. It
warms my heart and and absolutely brings more than a
couple of tears to my eyes. Okay, we've got Gretchen Herman.
To all the Crushers who are the very best people,
and to Chuck and Noll, thank you for giving me
the will to carry on and face the day. You
can't know how your aggregate kindness takes the edge off
of my days. Piece of the season to all of
(18:34):
you crazy nutballs. Yeah, I love a good nutt ball.
I'd love a good nutball, Brad car says Mayor christ
Is to my very cool, movie loving wife, Kimberly. To
my three kids Alice, Bell, great name, Charlie and Joanna.
Steph Shannon says, Happy Holidays to my holiday loving husband.
(18:54):
That's a lot of good h sounds. Ryan, you have
worked so hard this year to keep our hospitals stocked
with their supplies all year. And I hope that this
holiday season brings you as much joy as it can.
Um Sidney Wolford says, peaceful holidays to anyone dealing with loss. Currently,
I'm taking care of my grandma with hospice right now,
and the holidays especially are not always the joyful celebration.
(19:17):
We wish they could be. Love and peace to anyone
experiencing grief during this season totally. And you know what, no, Also,
if you have a job that is being where you're
being really overworked because of the holidays, whether you're delivering
things to people or whether it's part of the coronavirus
or whatever, Uh, We're really thinking of you because that's
(19:39):
ship is real too, and the holidays can be a
crushing time of overwork and anxiety for a lot of people.
Brandy Bust says, Merry Christmas to everyone. This year is
a difficult one, but there are many still many ways
we can celebrate. Sending love to everyone out there and
hope that you all stay safe during this time. Sammy
kay Hill says, wishing everyone comfort enjoy during this season.
(20:02):
One bring more movies. Well, there couldn't be any fewer movies, Fammy,
more discussion, and more getting to know this amazing community
of nerds. It's very nice. Torre and parents says Mere
Christmas to all my friends and family. I know this
isn't the best time of year, but I don't want
to put any of you in danger, or any of
my students in danger after the holiday, So bundle up,
(20:24):
have some roast for me and toast the Bloody Mary's
will have a huge shebang next year. Stay safe. I
love you all. Yeah, we'll make up for next year. Everyone.
I mean, you know, not to derail this too much
or get political or anything, but like you know, the
we know that the vaccines are coming. It seems like
they're the tests are going great and everything is looking
really promising. And I know everyone's not gonna get them
(20:46):
at the same rate, and there's probably gonna be some
holdouts of people that are weird about it, but it
does feel to me the very least like we can
bank on having a normal holiday season next year, however long,
you know, if it takes hopefully it's sooner than that,
but I will probably be back to relative normalcy by
this time next year. If not hopefully much much sooner.
It's right, Uh, Trevor Halprint says, wishing the best holiday
(21:17):
to my sister Jocelyn hal Brand. You've overcome unbelievable challenges
this year and have come out even more amazing than
ever before. I love you, and the moment lockdown is over,
I'm flying out to see you and the fam. Wonderful
Megan Murdoch Boyd, Merry Christmas to my movie Crusher twinsy
friend Tanya Boyd. Thanks for all the laughs and connections
(21:37):
during year of utter nonsense, and uh Tanya replied, oh
thank you. I'm so glad we met in quotes. Thanks Chuck.
The real genuine pals have been created through this page, nol.
It's amazing. It's makes it all worth it. I mean,
there's a fun show to do anyway, and it's not
a ton of work. Um, just seeing people liked the friend,
(22:01):
others like I want to get us all together someday,
you know, you know. Speaking of pals, I've I've mentioned
on the show before, but I want to mention my
my pal Christie Caroline Um who reached out to me
being a fan of the show, and um, we just
kind of became friends. She sent me a few really
sweet care packages. She's like a plant person and I'm
trying really hard to be a plant person, um, but
(22:23):
she's given me some really good advice and some really
lovely trimmings. What do you call those? Uh cuttings? You know,
she's like in a plant club. And I haven't killed
all of them, Christie, I swear to god. Uh, most
of them are still doing well. A few of them
might have been in the bullet but I'm doing my
best and trying to do right by you. And you've
been so kind and it's been so nice having your
friendship and sending me a little trinkets and stuff. It
(22:46):
always makes me feel like a million bucks. And I
owe you a care package as well. I asked you
some pointed questions about your favorite color and that was
not for nothing. So hopefully by now you've received that
from from me as well. And if you haven't, well
it's coming. I'm some slow. I'm a slow person, but
I swear to God I value your our chats and
your friendship very very much. And I hope you're having
(23:07):
a lovely holiday. It's lovely, no, Amy, Keel says, wishing
amry Christmas to my amazing husband Garrett. This year has
been a weird and crazy one. Glad I had you
by my side through it all, laughing with you early
in the morning when my insomnia kept me awake. Uh,
and I turned to a sleep deprived maniac. Hope you
have a wonderful Christmas and Santa brings you a nose
snore nose peace. Otherwise I'm not sure you'll see next Christmas.
(23:29):
Love you even if you do hug all the sleep.
That's tough. Man. Do you snore? Do you guys have
a snoring policy or like, like an understanding? Yeah, I don't.
I don't. Like the only time I'll snore is if
I really drank a lot. Yeah. Uh, but I don't.
I don't snore. I'm a pretty quiet sleeper. Family's pretty
quiet unless she's has allergies going on. I do snore
(23:50):
a bit um as does as does my my ex's husband,
and they have like she has a whole another room
that she'll relocate to. But it's an understanding. So it's like,
you know, you don't want people to feel like un
comfortable about just how they are. Uh. It's it's good
to like have a snore discussion, and not just like
what you gotta do to get sleep everyone. Ruby crawls
into bed with us now, starting about a year and
(24:10):
a half ago, she started doing that in like the
middle of the night. So sometimes she'll come in there
and then we've got the dog and the cats on
the bed and it gets a little crowded and she
starts flopping around and smacking me in the face. So
sometimes I will then go into her bedroom and sleep
on her little, uh you know, five year old bed,
which is quite comfy. We all gotta get our sleep, everyone.
(24:31):
Deb Sanders says, this Merry Christmas to all my fellow crushers.
This year has been a ship show, but I've always
found a laugh in humanity reading through these posts. I
mostly lurk and read and listen. Uh, Deb, I'd like
you speaking up. I like seeing your lovely face. You
should comment more if you want. But I'm always appreciative
of everyone, and especially our fearless leader. I guess that's
(24:51):
me who managed to turn a nationwide podcast into a
tight little family. And how in the world did he
manage that? Well? I didn't manage it, you guys managed
It's true. I just started a Facebook page and you
all said, all right, let's go now. There's something particularly
special about this show and one of the reasons it's
one of my favorite times doing these because there's always,
you know, with the episodes that you do um where
(25:14):
you're talking to someone one on one. Those are obviously
great too, but with this one, there is this inherent
sense of like family and connectiveness that isn't always presence
in and outside of just like a little segment here
and there at the very end of an episode as
an afterthought, and this whole show is kind of based
on that, and it just really warms my heart. Also,
I like hanging out with you a little bit too, Chuck.
I'm not gonna lie. Hey me too, buddy. You have
(25:35):
made this year a lot better for me. The fact
that we get to sit down and do this every
week or every other week is something I always look
forward to, say. Teresa Gorman says, Todd, I love you
so much. You make life better. Karen Knox says, oh,
it's in French, well, joyo Noel to Lament Key pars France.
(25:58):
That's pretty good. If only we had Casey here, he
would pick it apart. But I think he did a
pretty fine job there, Chuck Karen says, I'm just being
a Bret and wanting to Chuck to speak French. Well
it worked, But merry Christmas to all the crushers out
there from uh Karen, a nice one in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada,
Canada's capital. Yes, sorry Karen about the whole Karen phenomenon.
(26:21):
It's not your fault. It's just I don't know. I
don't know why. Why is the name Karen? I know
I've done plenty of nice Karen's. They're all kinds of
nice karens. And that's just a dumb, stupid internet thing,
I know. But it's also fun to say, I'm I'm torn,
I'm torn. All right, let's do two more each old
sounds good. Man, got one here from a fabulous name.
(26:43):
Anton vander Meer, m E r w E. What does
that become. I'm just gonna go with me or vander
Meer right in, let us know, let me know. Um
wishing everyone who lost a pet a peaceful, love filled
fest of season. Losing a loved one is rough. Losing
a pet is ninety nine point nine nine as bad.
(27:06):
They stay with us for such short times, But they
love so hard. It will get better. You will never forget,
you will learn to remember. That's really sweet. I don't
think I've mentioned this on the on the show, but
you know, Eden got a hamster um and it it
just died. And I didn't realize this, but like that's
what I know, bro, So I looked it up and
(27:28):
I realized we just signed up for like a minimum,
like a ticking time bomb of heartache, because a maximum
hamster lifespan is like a year and a half or something.
It's it's two years, I think max for like a
particular type of hamster and this one maybe a little
more hardy. Yeah, well this one just yeah, it was
just it was such a sweet little little guy and
then it was just belly up. But uh as silver lining.
(27:50):
It did convince me to like, okay, let's get an
animal that will last a little honker and uh we
got a cat, and I think you know, um, I've
had some pet losses. Pet that I got from you
actually lost in a sad fashion, maybe the black cat um.
And I had another cat with my roommate that was
(28:10):
mainly his cat, and then I moved out and have
not had a cat. But now welcome to the family.
Chrom the tuxedo cat, which is my and Eden's cat alone,
and she's just a delight and I really love her already.
That's wonderful. I have a tuxedo leave honest, a tuxedo cat. Nice.
All right, I'm gonna do a few more of these.
I said I was gonna do two more, but now
I see some of the old favorites and I don't
(28:31):
want to like leave them out in the cold. Uh,
let me see here. Meg made her torrens welcome to
the show, says Happy holidays to all, especially my noodle
and Boo. Don't forget together. We can make a difference
in move mountains. Stay safe and healthy everyone. Kristen Glenn
kissed her. One of her old friends, says Mr Jones.
It's been a ship year, but there's nothing that happened
or will happen that you can't make it through. Said
(28:52):
it before, I'll say it again. You are one of
the strongest people I know. It's fine, We're fine. Everything
is fine. And I to quote so that means something.
I got a little shout out. I wanted to mention
you said leave on and it rang a bell for me. Uh.
Colleague and friend and amazing musician Josh thane Um and
his wife Louisa just had their first child, named lev On. Yep,
(29:17):
m h my cat his son. I love it. Congrat's
a very cute little baby too, for sure. Uh. And
I'm gonna finish up here with one of our oldest pals,
Kristen Bits A guy says Marry Christmas, Allison, and this
is Alison Gallagher. They are real friends in real life.
Because of this, I'm so glad stuff you should know
brought us together, and movie Crush keeps us together. I
(29:38):
hope to get to road trip to Atlanta and see
you soon. That's great, Kristin. I hope you get to
do that too. Uh. You got one more, noal what
you've done, I can do one more. Bring us home
And here's one directed to the entire Crusher family from
Brendan French. Happy holidays to my Crusher family. Over the years,
you have made me laugh, feel supported, and have a
(30:00):
virtual home free of judgment and hostility, which is rare.
Thanks for all the recommendations, thoughtfulness and insightfulness you have
given me, expanding my love of film and cinema wonderful.
So thank you everyone, which we could read them all,
but we can't, but we love you all, and we're
going to leave that up. And people should continue to
(30:21):
send their well wishes. I encourage people to go read
them because they're heartwarming and sweet. And to all the
Crushers and to you Nolan, your lovely family, Merry Christmas,
Happy holidays, however you choose to celebrate. And uh, you know,
it's been a tough year, but we we made it through.
And I like to think that the show is a
bright spot for ourselves and our listeners and our pressure family.
(30:44):
So very thankful for you guys, and uh, we'll see you.
