Speaker 1 (00:05):
Hey, this is Annie and SMITHA.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm welcome to Steff I've never told you production of
iHeart Radio, and welcome to twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Yes, that's me.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
It's hard to know when this is going to come out,
but as of recording, this is supposed to come out
in the new year.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
So happy new Year, hopeing well for you, Good luck
to you, Yes, good luck to you.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
And as always, as is tradition, we're a little late
on things, so we're doing our twenty twenty five recap
at the beginning of twenty twenty six. So this is
just a tradition that we have where we look back
over the year and we pick out some of the
favorite things that we've done, some of our favorite episodes,
(01:01):
some of our favorite segments, anything that's.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Stuck out, and we make a lot of content.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Listeners, as I'm sure you know, so it's actually kind
of difficult to narrow it down, but we've done our
best and we have our picks here. But as always, listeners,
we would love to hear from you if there is
anything that really stood out to you that you want
(01:28):
to hear more of or less of, or what you
want to see us try or do please let us know.
So sometimes I worry Samantha that we get kind of
we use a lot of technical jargon that people don't
know what we're talking about necessarily, But the way that
(01:49):
we do things here is that it's not even technical
and you probably do know. But to make sure we're
all on the same page, we usually have two full
episodes we call full episodes episodes typically new episodes, and
those are ones that are longer and more researched. Sometimes
(02:10):
Samantha and I split them. Sometimes one does one and
we just do our own thing, and I think it's
pretty obvious who does which one. Usually we say then
we have our feminist around the World segment slash fictional
women around the segment, and then we have our happy Hour,
which we didn't choose the favorite of because I think
(02:31):
those are more all over the place.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, it's kind of hard to clarify.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
But then we also have like once a month segments
like when Bridget comes on or Eves comes on. We're
female first, our book club or feminist maybe Friday or
even in fiction. So we're breaking them down into categories. Yes,
so let us start with the favorite full episode, So
(03:03):
mine for twenty twenty five was our two parter on
adult friendships. And this is because as listeners know, as
Samantha knows, I actually did change some behavior after that episode.
I texted friends I had in a while. I met
up with friends I had in a while, even if
(03:23):
they had kids. I was just I was in my
head that all they're too busy, they don't want to
hang out. And they did and we had a wonderful time.
And people asked me about that one a lot, because
I think adults do have those questions of how to
navigate these friendships. So it was just one that really
impacted me and changed how I behaved. And I still
(03:47):
I recently texted someone I hat in a while. He
did not text back, and that's fine, but I reached
out because I was like, you know what, maybe maybe
he does want to talk. Maybe he will later. I'm
not sure. So that one I'm alm. I gotta throw
a bonus in here. The last of us two episodes
we did, Yeah, it feels like forever ago.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
I well, you know, I'm all the way back in
the ninety so who knows where we're at.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
It was the beginning, it was like April of this year,
but you know, I love doing those, and I I
won't spoil anything, but I have to say I was
glad to have that truth come out because I do
talk about it a lot, so if you listen to
the show, it was nice to finally be able to
be able to be like, yeah, this is what this
(04:36):
is what's going on. And then also just a shout
out to Christina who always makes the fiction episodes sound great.
But we did get to the end of our Sminty
fiction trilogy on Terminus, but it was three parts and
we got to the end of it and it felt
like a kind of closure. It felt like it and
(04:56):
We're going to move on to something new, so I'm
very excited.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Ooh it my pig was about Virginity and gen Z.
Actually we had a lot of conversations because like, it's
interesting growing old, getting older is interesting to see the cycles,
like you when as you're in the process of being
twenties and then like thirties and now like coming into forties,
you're like, oh, and seeing those young ones being adults
(05:22):
and seeing the cycles or newness in the reasoning is
always interesting anyway. But talking about how gen Z perceived
virginity and its retake, but for better reasons. I will
say that in understanding what they were talking about, I'm like, ah,
this makes a lot more sense in where we are.
(05:43):
And so having those like research moments of seeing what
younger generations are talking about when it comes to sex
and relationships, it's fascinating to see it brings both hope
and worry. Yes, Like, I don't know how else to
talk about that. I think we talked a lot about
real relationships and the younger generations this year, and it's
been fascinating in this conversation again, even because when we
(06:06):
talked about online dating during COVID versus today, which we
had to come back round to do, it was that change.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah, it's fascinating.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
It is, and it's even though time feels both forever
ago and it's so yesterday yesterday, It wasn't that long
of a time, but things have changed so much during
that span of time. Yeah, so it is really interesting
to look into it, right.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
I mean, let's just be honest.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
COVID changed, the pandemic changed so much in a way
that we it was unexpected.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
So it is interesting also.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Like the the obvious gender divide when it comes to
how everyone reacted.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Yeah, yeah, it's fascinating.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Also said said, jumping into so what did you pick
for your Monday Mini Favorites?
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Okay, did I mention that we do Monday minis too?
I don't know, but we say we do. It's on Monday's.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Everyone a little bit researched.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Yeah, they were supposed to be really short, but we
lose track of it all the time and they end
up being like thirty minutes long.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Usually it's like one thing that we see as a
headline and then it turns out to be a huge thing.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
You're like, what, yes, but one of my favorites.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
And this is kind of piggybacking off a recent topic
you did, Samantha Is. We did an episode on gaming
for the Holidays, but in it we were talking about
games that specifically have some kind of holiday theme in it.
And it was just really comical to me because, as
usual when we do these gaming episodes, it was so
(07:46):
clear about the type of games you play versus the
type of.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Games I play.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
And it's not to say I do enjoy the type
of games you play, but I come out with like, well,
Parasite Eve, this horror game takes place on Christmas Eve.
But it was fun to research that define those examples.
And I do love Parasite Eve and it has a
banger opening soundtrack if you want to listen to it,
it's really good.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yes, well, just I guess I really was on a
theme this year apparently when it comes to like relationships
in general. But the male Loneliness Epidemic episode was interesting
because we are hearing that phrase turn and being spit
out constantly and realizing what this is. But it's actually
something we need to be watching, and not because women
(08:32):
are causing it, and not because of these things, but
because when we were talking about it with the AI
episode with Ridget which just we just I believe just
released not long ago, but like it is concerning and
why it's happening, and it kind of opens your eyes
to seeing why they're lonely and what needs.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
To be changed.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
But I will say the aftermath of the videos that
I've seen men coming together to really hold each other accountable,
to have conversations.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Since then, it's been nice to see.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yeah, yeah, that is nice to see, but it's become
I hear it as sort of a buzz phrase, like
I hear people use it in mainstream a lot more
now since we've talked about it.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Yeah, that's only because and again it came through like
when I was listening to hearing it, I didn't understand it.
It was kind of like and they say this is
a male win this epandemic, or is men are not
lonely enough, Like that's that rhetoric now, And I find
it interesting because in that conversation is this is nothing
women can do. If it's completely like gendered headedo normative conversation,
(09:41):
women can't solve this. This is not something we can
do because it is all male created and it has
to be male fixed in understanding and having like self awareness.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah, and are they willing to That's that's the questions said.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
The question who's going to do?
Speaker 3 (10:02):
And this is we're going to online timelines because usually
Tuesdays are our releases for activists or feminists around the world.
I've actually changed it to activists around the world because
you know, we bring in non binary people as well
and so many different things, and they are feminists, but
oftentimes they're activists. As we've turned out, like there's so
many people who do multiple things in activism, So there's
(10:23):
including like feminist activism as well as art and all
these things intersectional in general. And I've really picked out
the organizations for disability rights. We are on a role
during that month on Disability Awareness Month, and because there
are so many good organizations doing so much work that
have always done this work. And I really enjoyed finding
(10:45):
out some of these organizations as well as I don't
talk about the film but like Patrice m I look,
but like those organizations that work with her and all
these things and what needs to be done. I don't
think we talk about enough, but it was actually kind.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Of fun enlightening.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Yeah, and the work those organizations do are so important.
I mean I just saw headline today about one of those,
not necessarily one of the ones you talked about it,
but an organizations doing the Trump administration getting rid of
as L interpreters, which is important for accessibility. So it
(11:22):
is really really important work that they're doing.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well, I do the Fictional Women Around the World, which
also comes out on Tuesday. The Subsub the sub sub
sub sub sub segment. Uh So I chose Morgan Elsbeth.
And one of the reasons I chose her is you
were not there. I don't know you were not there
(11:59):
for this episode, Samantha, you were sick, and I think
you would have liked this episode, so I'm bringing it back. Okay,
you keep paying things with that all like what I
remember this?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Okay. So Morgan elswth is you? You know her?
Speaker 2 (12:14):
You just might not know her name, but she is
from season two of The Mandalorian when the episode when
Ahsoka shows up. She's the person that Ahsoka fights to
save the town Corvus. Okay, yes, But one of the
things I thought you would have thought was interesting was
that her father was a martial artist.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Bruce Lee was her godfather.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Oh would have yeah, And she grew up surrounded by
like all of these leading martial artists, like most of
the stunt people who worked on The Mandalorian were trained
by her dad. And when she got the call that
they wanted her for this part, she thought it was
a joke because she thought she was too old, essentially
(12:59):
like I've aged out.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
But no, they were like, no, we want you. And
it's really.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Sweet because her and her dad, after they saw a
New Hope the Star Wars movie in theaters, they both
bought like plastic lightsabers and would practice doing oh wow,
lightsaber fights, so she got to have that moment.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
That's awesome. She's been preparing her whole life for that.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
I love it so much.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Yeah, I know when I was doing this research, I
was like, Samantha would like this one.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
So that is why I brought that back so you would.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Know what I was missing.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
It was a good one. She's a cool character. She's
like a she's a very she's dark slash gray character,
but she's got a lot of history you can look into.
She's an interesting She's an interesting character. I also want
to shout out Joey. Yeah, our contrut Joey and their
(14:07):
episode on Lois Lane.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Yeah, that was cool.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Well, if I had to pick out Joey episode, which
we didn't put in here, I was gonna put them
on Donnie because that was a fun conversation, especially seeing
what it is happening in New York from their perspective.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
But yeah, they brought.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
On so many good, good thoughts, especially with like all
of the conferences and such. We do need to get
them here for Dragon Con so they can report what
they need to report back.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
To us about what they thought.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Yeah, and our Twilight viewing, it will happen it will happen.
Speaking of movies, that brings us to a feminist movie Friday, Yeah, okay,
I had to tie, and they're very funny opposites. So
one is The Last Year to Corn, which is a
very melancholy cartoon that I saw as a kid and
(15:01):
have loved and I was excited to share with people.
The other is very recent film Dangerous Animals, which is
a horror movie about a serial killer who uses sharks
to kill people.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
I actually really liked that movie too. I would have
put that on the list.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
I said that you had soli from me, but I
decided to go jump into a spoiled Saturday K Pop
Demon Hunters because obviously it's very impactful and it had
a lot of feelings seeing this movie and still with
all of the nominations they've grabbed all of the awards,
the women who voiced the singing voices for Hunt trucks
(15:39):
being on tours and joy, it's really fascinating to see it.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
As it continues to grow in popularity. People are not
hating on it yet.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I assumed we would get haters, but I haven't had
that hasn't from my perspective. I haven't seen that maybe
I'm just too far into my love for k pop
Demon Hunter, but it was something to see the rise
of the love of Korean culture. They did something so
new instead of the remakes after all the years of
just all remakes or like, this was brand new, especially
(16:07):
for a Western audience.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
So seeing that really really made me happy.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
And I'll stay on my top probably ten experiences as
an Asian adoptee or Korean adoptee seeing as part of culture.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
So yeah, I could not think of that one.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
I saw my mom and I watched the Macy's Day
Parade because we're that's one of our traditions.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
And they performed at the Macy's Day Parade and I
was like.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Oh, my louck, let me tell you why.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Yeah exactly. I am like such a nerd and my
mom is so sweet that I always.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Love to tell her, like, I know what this is,
let me explain it to you. Yes, that brings us
to book club. So I chose Undead Girl Gang, which
was it was a really fun slash sad at the end,
but it's mostly fun story about someone trying to figure
(17:02):
out how her best friend died because she doesn't believe
the narrative that is being told, and she's a witch,
so she uses the spell to bring her her friend back,
but in doing so, she also brings back to bullies
that she doesn't like, and they're kind of zombie esque
(17:24):
and they have to stay close to her or it
gets worse. And there's kind of like high school hijinks
and stuff like that along with your kind of elements
of horror and mystery that you're trying to figure out
what's going on.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
And it was just.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
A really fun trying to figure out what's actually going
on here, and then seeing the stories of everybody and
why people did what they did, and then having some closure,
even if it was.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
A little sad, but it was so good. Again, I
wanted to be a movie, but yeah, I picked. I
kind of forget this was our Asian pic. I'm not
gonna lie.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Yeah, but Hello Universe.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
I loved because it was also like a depth of
like fortune telling and mysticism.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
A part of this. We love the young boy named.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Turtle or Virgil.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
I don't know everything about it.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
It was so intrinsic, like if I can imagine it,
and I still have pieces of that book in my head,
like I can see it because you create your own world,
which is the fun part about reading right and having
like Valencia, all the characters were fixed. That's the younger
Sister being a part of this conversation.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
It was so good.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
I will also say to shout out that horror book
that we read, because I also had those pictures of
them doing Ghost Summer, which was so beautiful. Like again,
I have pictures from that book and sometimes they go
inside because there's so much in the woods, so many
activities in the woods. But Ghost Summer was heart renting
(19:10):
to me, but beautiful as where like Hello Universe a
little different, a little more uplifting, a lot of better
happy endings with like the friendships growing, and Ghost Summer
is just like a lot more like. It also brought
a conclusion, like a conclusive ending family coming back together.
I think that was implication. If you haven't read that,
(19:31):
you should. But both of those books they haunt me
in a good way.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Yes, and Ghost Summer is haunting. It's literally yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
But I also love these dynamics of the younger sibling.
I don't know what it is, but I love that
when they bring in the young assembling, they come in
as a good relationship together and then they grow in
this adventure together.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
I'm a fan.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yeah, I'm glad you bought that one back. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
I again, sometimes it's hard to keep check of what
we did in a year.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
But again, if this sticks them up, so Undead Girl Gang,
and we've read so many good things Undead Girl, Hello,
Universe and got summer really just left vivid pictures that
I can't stop thinking about.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
Yeah, yeah, good books we get to read for that segment.
My mom asked me recently and she said, do you
you still love to read? Do you still read? And
I was like, well, for work, I read a lot,
and I am glad we have this segment.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, because we do. I mean, we do have to
read it for work, but it is like a book,
right that I might enjoy.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Yeah, what a joy that we can do it for work,
even though it is.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Right work exactly exactly. And that brings us to our
final shout outs.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
We're so lucky we get to do interview segments with
people on this show, and we've had We've been really
fortunate this year to have a lot of really good ones.
Hopefully that trend will continue into the new year. But
one that really stuck out to me was the interview
we did with Egene Carroll, who is like one of
(21:20):
the only people to successfully see Donald Trump and win.
And she was just a really fun great.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
I wonder her friend.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
I wanted to go and have coffee with her instead,
and because she was was it a Danish of toast?
Speaker 4 (21:40):
I don't even remember she.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Was, Yeah, she was snacking on something. She was like
in the woods, the woods behind her with the dog.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
The dog.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
But she also you can just tell she's lived a life,
like when you're talking to her, she would bring up
things and passing that I'm like, wait, please explain.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
That I really just want to have a conversation with her. Yeah,
I will say.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
I think this is my point of like having bonus
on bonus on bonus, because I love the interviews that
we do because it brings so many connections. I said
it at the very beginning, I'm here to make friends
because I don't want to like go out, and this
is how I do it. Eating Carol is definitely up there.
It is a phenomenal interview. If you haven't had a
(22:26):
chance to listen everything that she says, like we just
were glued to any of the conversations, and she was
so fun talking about her book. Her book, Like, her
book is really good and it does show off a
bit of her personality, but not to the degree of.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
What we saw.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Her perseverance alone is incredible. I just also loved her
throwing out names, big huge names and us sitting there
looking at her like, ma'am, why would we know these people?
Speaker 4 (22:57):
We're still shocked that you're here with us.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Yes, and we are probably going to bring her interview
back soon even though it's been recent, because there's been
some news around her. And also Alita Hava who's the
lawyer against her, so uh yeah, that one will probably
come back. But yeah, she would just be like, oh,
do you know this person? Like no, I mean I
(23:21):
know them.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
We know them, but we don't know them. They come
to you for advice. We know we want to do.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
This, but she did it in a very genuine.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Yeah way, as if we should. I love when and
she was one And we have so many big names,
are bigger names that were so overwhelmed by and intimidated by,
but they actually look us up. Those are the people
who intimidate me more. They do because they are such
professionals that they come in and they're like, you do this,
(23:52):
and like, how do you know this? Do you care
about us?
Speaker 4 (23:56):
What? And she happens to be one of those people
who does that.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
I'm sure she doesn't everyone, but again, just being in
that spot, it was a beautiful interview. I had to
put in Holly and Marie there at the very beginning
of the year, the release of their book. They're always
so fun. Holly is always so fun. We don't see
her enough, but we adore her here from Spinty, but
their book was fantastic. Celebrating what they were able to
(24:19):
do and accomplish was so much fun having a full
conversation because it went for a while. We had some
hiccups that interview, I know messed like really freaked you
out because we had some hiccups with the Riverside our interview.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Oh yeah, but.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
That interview went for a while and just conversation.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Yeah, that was a really fun one. A peek behind
the curtain listeners. I had my laptop had a really
fun problem at the beginning of the year where we
would use this app called riverside to do to record
audio with people like not just me and Samantha, and
(25:02):
it just my laptop hated it and it would sometimes
just die. And actually it was a very stressful thing.
And actually, if I'm going to throw in a bonus here,
Michelle Norris, yeah, Michelle Norris was fantastic.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
I love her.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
I was very overwhelmed during that interview, both because I
love her, but also because I tried to fix this
problem because I didn't want anything to go wrong when
she was on and I did not, and so I
was very.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
Stressed during it. But also update.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
We never said at the end, we were like, we're
going to make mac and cheese for the Super Bowl
Samantha and I did.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
We never posted about it anywhere, but we did.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
There was a little little confusion about what we were supposed
to be doing and how we were supposed to be
posting things, and then who were participating, because it was
real confused. I was real confused, but Michelle Norris was
doing it and she hagged us and her I think
I did it wrong. I will say that it did
come out pretty. Is one of those things that it
(26:08):
tells you to wait to eat, and I am a
especially when it comes to maca cheese. I wanted it
hot and ready, like I wanted that, but you're supposed
to let it sit and that was kind of my
flaw on that one, but we did it. She was
also one of those that is a cosmic professional and
also with this up and trying to interview us, we
were like, no, ma'am.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Stuff well, and I accidentally, because I was so flustered
about this laptop problem, I never introduced myself. We have
done another show before, but it was like a year ago,
and I don't expect her to but I because under
my name, I'm the one that kind of runs these things,
it says Sminty. So I never introduced myself and it
said Sminty under my little video box. But she said
(26:50):
when she said my name.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
She was like you and Annie. She's like Smitha, Annie,
you do this. She knew us. She talked about a
couple of.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
Other episodes like yeah, she was ready again when people
are that big, I just don't understand why you would
remove for us. People who are in our own like
who are in our company, don't know we are what
we're about.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
At the time.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, I mean they're professionals, but it was really I
felt so afterwards, I was like, wait, I never introduced myself.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
Oh, she was on it, but yeah, she was also one.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
But I will say also just to put in there
because I feel like there's so many in Christina does
an amazing job in connecting when I say, hey, this
person from this TikTok, I want her on here. And
we had several people. Evan the bioethicist came on and
they were phenomenal.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
We had what I know.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Is black Belt News. She just had a baby, congratulations.
Not that she listens, but she was still reporting on
everything that is happening in the world. Having her on
like having these people come on realizing that we featured
them on. Activists around the world. We've had at least
two to three people coming on to that. That's some
of my favorite thing is Kaitlin Blenny was really fun,
I will say, and I want her to back on
(28:05):
for her book when she does releases.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
Yes, there's so many.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
I think interviews are some of my most favorite, but
also some of the most stressful.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Yeah, and wanted to make sure we love Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
We want to make sure they feel welcomed and that
they know that we are fans or we are really
proud of what they are doing and want to enhance
that and we do. We vet pretty well. I think
the people who come on here. Sometimes we have people
on that that we might not be too sure about
because we got asked for them to come on, and
we try to do our due diligence with helping that.
(28:36):
But most of the time, but yeah, we do try
to bring on people that we are so excited to
having these conversations to like getting more educated about the
things that we don't know more things that we want
to know about.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
And I it just brings.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Me so much shoy after leaving, especially a great conversation
like EG and Carol, or like Michelle Norris, or like
Kaitlyn Blenny, when you feel like you've actually got to
know them, there's this level of like friends. I feel
so good, like the world is better.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Yeah, yeah, it is really nice. We've had really great
I don't want to say it luck, but we've had it.
We've we've been fortunate, Yes, the interviews we've been able
to have.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
It's true.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
I think this year has been in a wonderful year,
kind of stressful content. I don't know what's going to
come up for the rest of twenty twenty six. As
we've just started SLASH, I say this past. Self is
saying this, hoping for all good things, more good interviews,
more good fucks, more good movies. I've already got a
list of things that you have not watched from the
(29:44):
past that I feel like we need to put in here.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Yes, you know, I'm down.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Yeah, you know, I get I'm like, you've never seen this,
We must watch.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
That with the clue. Oh yeah, that was another fun
when we did this year.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Well, last year, last year five. Yeah, no, I'm excited.
I always love seeing a movie that i've heard a missed. Yeah, yeah, yeaheah.
I also loved Clueless, which I don't know if we
did that this year, but twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
I don't think we did that this year.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
I will say the Unicorn, which was one that I
had never seen the last Unicorns, I mean unique, a
unique experience.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
I appreciated that. I did.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
I love that movie.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
I knew it was a strange one too, but you
also knew I had that outlined for.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Years, two years.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
It's true.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
It's just waiting because I was like, it was a
feminist movie.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Time.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Yes, sometimes I'm glad to know now.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
