Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome to stuff Mob Never told you from how stup
works dot com. Hello, and welcome to the podcast. I'm
Caroline and I'm Kristin, and today we're talking about stalking,
and so we want to issue a trigger warning that
we will be discussing issues like domestic violence. Um. But

(00:25):
the reason that we're discussing this today is because after
Kristen and I did our episode on intimate partner and

or out of the relationship itself, I still had to
overcome the hurdles of my former partner stalking me, trying
to get in touch with me, and then going through
the bureaucratic red tape of trying to obtain a restraining

(01:10):
or protective order. And so there are definitely more issues
to domestic violence and intimate partner violence than what goes
on to cause someone to leave the home. There's also
a lot of the fallout that happens once someone does
try to leave, and so we're going to talk a
lot about that, not only the intimate partner stalking, but

(01:30):
also
