know who she is, she actually founded the Museum for
Black Girls that's inside Denver Pavilions And she's actually from Denver.
(01:48):
And so what she did was she every year try
to think of a cool way to celebrate her birthday,
and so she wanted to host a gallery Night, which
was a selfie museum centered around black women's experiences with
peace is representing childhood traditions and then a history of
black women's success. Well, this turned into a Black Girl Museum,
which traveling is now back in Denver. So they're hoping
(02:10):
this is going to be actually a permanent space, so
the Museum for Black Girls inside Denver Pavilion. Shout out
to Charlie Billingsley.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
You like that.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
I love that.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
I wouldn't want to travel out there to go see it.
And when you look at pictures of it, it just
looks beautiful. There's hair products on the wall, there's old
dressing rooms that have become many installations for the Museum
for Black Girls, plenty of spaces for selfies, things like that.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
So shout out to her for doing that. And who
do you guys want to shine a light on?

Speaker 7 (03:10):
We've been together about three years going on four.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Okay, we love it. And now be honest. Are you
easy to deal with or not?
Speaker 9 (03:18):

Speaker 3 (03:21):
All right, well happy Valentine's Daddy. Looksi, we extra shine

Yes, thank you?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
All right, Well that was shine a light. And when
we come back, we have your ye t and let's
talk about yay. There's a lot of things going on
with Kanye now. Kim Osarrio is guest hosting, and I
know she's got some things she wants to say because
she boy used to work for him.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
It's way up, they say, the rooms.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
From industry shade to all of gossip out send Angela's
feeling that yet.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
What's up? It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 9 (03:53):
Yee.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
I'm Angela ye. And Kim Osorio is here with me today. Hey, listen,
there's a lot of things about Kim. I also sometimes
just find out. We were talking about Detroit and Jay Dilla. Yes,
and I didn't know you actually knew him personally. And
you said he introduced you to a lot of people.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Yes he did.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
All right, we'll talk about that later, but right now,
let's talk about somebody else. I'm not sure if it's
your friend or not, but Kanye West and Ty Dallas
signs Vultures one first week projections are in one hundred
and forty thousand first week, so that's a big deal.
Speaker 11 (04:22):
Number One, Kanye's always my friend. Let me say that, Okay, love, Kanye.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Used to work for him.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I did.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
What was that experience?
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Like?
Speaker 4 (04:30):
It was interesting? Exciting? Hm, they said a little crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
These are great words for a resume.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
A little crazy, had an interesting and let me just
imagine what it would be like to work with Kanye. Well,
he's also denying that Taylor Swift had him kicked out
of the super Bowl because he bought tickets in front
of her. Now, Brandon Marshall was on the Paper Route
podcast and said that this is what happened.
Speaker 12 (04:54):
Kanye West buys a ticket right in front of Taylor's
Swift spoof. Oh here you a as phone with his
logo on the masks. Right, Taylor Swift gets off cheat
boom boom, makes a call or two, he gets kicked
out the stadium.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
He was trying to leverage her celebrity, right, because you're right,
they're not going to cut to him.
Speaker 13 (05:11):
So he's like, I'm gonna strategically position myself so every.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Time they cut over here to her.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
All right, Well, a rep for West says that that
is a completely fabricated rumor and it's not true.
Speaker 11 (05:23):
I mean, I mean, I don't think he needs to
leverage her celebrity at all. Right, just show up in
a mask, which and he's going to get the attention.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
In some weird outfit and then everybody will be talking. Well,
people are also talking about this growth that's on his lip.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I know, you guys saw it.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
He just got eight hundred and fifty thousand dollars titanium
teeth and there's like a bubble. But I will say
it seems like it's from the dental work that he
got done. They probably had to have his mouth held open.
And yeah, because actually, when I had to get my
wisdom teeth removed, the sides of my mouth had like
it does kind of like make it.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
You know.
Speaker 11 (06:02):
I hate that, like what they do with the dentist.
That's happened to me when I've gotten my teeth whitened.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Like.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Well, he was actually on TMZ and he was basically
talking about his album, talking about his wife and why
he posted her all those times and things like this,
and so somebody said, what's that little testicle hanging from
the look.
Speaker 11 (06:21):
See, but I don't come off the house if I
have a pimple like I'm staying in the house. He
got enough money to wait this one out. I want
him to come.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Into a super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
He probably didn't know that was going to happen. All right, now, Shaq,
in the meantime, tell Kanye to stop? Can I say
itching and snitchin?
Speaker 4 (06:37):
All right? Would it be?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I said itching? Relax, they said, According to Shaq, he said,
who cares? Stop itching and snitchin? I know you saw
me at the Super Bowl. I was waiting for you
to say something smart.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Man up.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Nobody want to see you crying. Man up, little boy.
Oh wow, that was hard, Shack.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
It was.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
It was now.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
People were like, well, if you saw him, why didn't
you say something to him in that case? But yes,
so that's what Shack got to say to Kanye, and.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Then so on and so forth.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
But one last thing we want to talk about before
we get into about last night, the Fool in Love concert.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
I don't care. Me and Kim are so excited about this.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
This is at Sofi Stadium in La Lionel Richie and
Diana Ross, Nile Rogers and Chic, Al Green, Santana, Charlie Wilson,
Gladys Knight, the Isley Brothers, Shaka Khan. I mean, this
is a stacked lineup, the Ojs, the.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Jack Wains, I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
War the Spinners, the Whispers, the Emotions, Dion Warwick. I
know a lot of kids are like, who are these people?
But we're excited. Smokey Robinson is on the bill, George Clinton, Cooling,
the Gang, Sha Lamar Cameo, sos Band, Heat Wave, Point
of Sisters, El DeBarge, El DeBarge, Mary Danegirls. I had
a bowling party once an El Debargs came to my
(07:53):
bowling party and almost fainted.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Really, yeah, you fan out for that like I did.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, It's like not people you normously.
Speaker 11 (08:00):
If you grew up on all the music you hear
right now is sampled from all of these artists.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
Well, I feel like it's my parents, Like when I
know that they were into something.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
I did offer Alderbars a drink and he was like,
oh I can't, I'm in recovery.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Sorry, all right, well that is your yet. When we
come back, we have about last night. That's where we
discussed what we did last night.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
I had a good one. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
Oh about last night?
Speaker 8 (08:21):
Last night?
Speaker 5 (08:22):
Last night I went down.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Yes, it's way up with Angela. Ye, I'm Angela yee,
I'm here with my girl.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Kim. Oh, sorry, you're guest hosting. Hey, Hey, what did
you do last night? Kim? Not to attack you that way,
Jeeves like right, No, I don't even know.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Wait, no, last night I was working.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Oh there's some screaming going on.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
What's happened.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
I don't know what just happened. I'll just hear screaming now.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
I just fling for the Impact, okay. Oh.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
We got to talk about the Impact later today too,
because the way Kim and I operate is we constantly
are sending messages back and forth to each other. And
I saw some things on social media regarding the Impact
with Cleo Chappa and with Chinese kids, and just now
I might as well.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Say and fail transparency.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
I actually hosted the launch for the Impact, the premier party,
thank you, and I was specifically asked not to say
anything about Chinese Kitty and Cleo Trappa.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Not getting along.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yikes when we did that, and they clearly did not
want to be near each other, speak to each other,
so it's not just for TV for some reason in
real life. And maybe you'll give us some more insight
Kim when we talk about it.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Oh gosh, I don't know if I can do that,
but let's try.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah, And you know I love to always hear your
thoughts because Kim is very unfiltered, to the point where
she might say what she's not supposed to say.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Well, yesterday I was actually.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Having a meeting, and the meeting was I won't I
don't want to disclose so much, but it was about
online dating.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Oh, okay, have you ever done online dating?
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Never? And I never will?
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Why?
Speaker 3 (09:48):
So now that's what I want to talk about, because
that's what we were discussing. Why people have this like
reaction to it.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
I know I've never tried it.
Speaker 11 (09:56):
I do know people who have gotten married me too,
and it worked out for them or actually.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
They're divorced now.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
So you know people who are in real life, right,
But I.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Do know people who who you know, meet people online.
I just I don't know.
Speaker 11 (10:12):
I just there's something about it for me is just
I want to know you, and I feel like I'm
always thinking of like the whole catfishing thing.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
All right.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Well, yeah, and I want to say this because I
was having a conversation about you know, I've heard that
people who pay for online dating services as opposed to
free ones are usually more serious and successful yes and
yes and to finding you know, somebody to be with.
And so now they have like different levels for services, right,
like I know Tender they have like Tender Gold, they
(10:42):
have Tender Select and all of those things. And there's
Tender plus Tender Gold and Tender Platinum and then Tender Select,
which is like five hundred dollars a month by the way.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
So it's just something.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
I was talking about whether or not you would do
online dating, and.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
I think I'm just old fashioned. I don't know. I
know a lot of people who do it, and you know,
they like doing it. I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 11 (11:05):
I'm scarred by like social media and the stuff that
I see online.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Well, what they're saying is pay subscriptions tend to grant
better search facilities, which can save you time and getting
to know someone takes time so you can filter through
it better. But anyway, that is you're about last night,
When we come back, we have tell us a secret.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. It's time
for you guys to tell us a secret. Y'all be
so mad in these comments. I see people like this show.
(11:32):
What is this material? But it's not my fault. This
is real life, like real life secrets. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. We are not here to
judge you. We just want to hear your secret. It's
me and Kim's way up up.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
This is a judgment free zone.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
Tell us a secret.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
It's way up. But Angela ye, I'm Angela yee. And
Kim Osorio is here?
Speaker 1 (11:52):
You ready for this?
Speaker 3 (11:53):
I know you produce reality TV, so this should be amazing.
Tell us a secret, but this is real in two
nine two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Hello and Oni mis call it. What's your secret?
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Well, yeah, I reased. I've been married a year now.
I just had to get it out my chids that
I end up having a threesome at my bachelor.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Party with the strippers. Yeah you sound everything was safe.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
In time, but well it.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Was before the wedding.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Yeah, it was a bachelor party. Were you super drunk
or no?
Speaker 2 (12:27):
I just felt like, you know, I had to release
the beast one last time before I dedicated myself.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Do you feel worse after doing that?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
In a way, I do. I feel bad because you know,
I had been thankful for six years before we got married,
and all of a son that just happened.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
You have a lot of complicated Yeah.
Speaker 11 (12:50):
Yeah, you sound like you have a lot of remorse
for what you did.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
And he also sounds like he may be worried that
what if she you think she'll ever find out?
Speaker 2 (12:58):
No, I will never find out.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
What would you say?
Speaker 2 (13:02):
You make me feel bad because she didn't have a bachelorette.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
For I was gonna say, what if she had an that?
Speaker 2 (13:10):
I don't right, she did have one, but I one.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Oh, she don't even know you had a bachelor party?
Speaker 7 (13:17):
You don't wow?
Speaker 3 (13:19):
All right now, since you guys have been married for
this past year and things have been good, though wonderful.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Okay, over the door. I will never do anything you
ever die of my marriage or hurt her any kind
of way.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
All right, Well, listen, thank you for sharing that secret
with us, and I hope you know you putting it
out there and getting it off your chest can make
you move on the way you need to.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
And I appreciate John for taking the time to leave.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
All right, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Hey, anonymous caller, how are you?
Speaker 10 (13:46):
I'm getting you.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
I'm good. Thank you. You want to tell us a secret?
Speaker 10 (13:50):
I've been squently speople with my neighbors for three years
and my husband has no idea.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
There's a lot of sleeping with neighbors that call in
for tell us a secret for three years.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
So you actually like your neighbor it's a relationship.
Speaker 10 (14:04):
Yes, I do, honestly. My neighbor is an ex amise
and my husband.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Wow, so this is somebody you have feelings for. Do
you still want to be married or is it making
you reconsider that?
Speaker 10 (14:16):
It's not makes me be considered? It just right now
is fun and it feels good. Honestly.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Do you ever get worried that you might get caught?
Speaker 10 (14:23):
No, my husband works overnight.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Because what if you pop up at home like.
Speaker 10 (14:27):
I don't know. We think about it all the time,
but we have a can be and something like that
ever happens. Hopefully.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
What if your neighbor is like in love with you though,
and he's what if he gave you an ultimatum like
I don't want to sneak around anymore.
Speaker 10 (14:40):
And I'll let it go.
Speaker 11 (14:41):
Okay, Okay, I like the convenience of like right next
door just creepy at.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Least for work.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Do you still have sex with your husband or does
that slow that down because you're getting it somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I'm just curious it kind of slowed it down because
I'm more into my neighbor and.
Speaker 10 (14:56):
It's like my husband's ever did this.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Feels like something she could talk to her husband about,
Like we got to be here more, like we got
to figure this out our schedule, you know.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Well, Happy Valentine's Day, stay protected? All right? Well that
was tell us a secret? What you thank Kim?
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (15:15):
We outside?
Speaker 4 (15:15):
No, people are outside, people are outside. I don't know
what you thought.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Listen, we keep talking about having a hoe down, and
let's talk about it because when we come back with
ye T, let's discuss Beyonce in her country music. There
were some claims that radio stations did not want to
play it.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
We'll discuss that. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid off this spot.
Speaker 14 (15:35):
Let's get it.
Speaker 5 (15:36):
Oh yeah, Angela's feeling that yet, come and get the tea.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
What's up this way up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
I'm Angela yee, and my girl Kimo Sorr I is
here guest hosting today.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
That's right, I'm here, that's right.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
All right.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Well, Sony Music, their revenues have jumped sixteen percent and
that is things to Sizza and streaming. Okay, so she's
really the one who led the way and more both
in streaming royalties as well.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
So shout out to Sissa. Shout out to her. I
gave her a lot of money last year.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Oh for going to see that.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
That's why my daughter loves Scissa.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I remember you told me that and I went to
the concert too.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
You know, I don't go to a whole lot of concerts,
but that was when I wasn't about.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
To miss spend a lot of money.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
All right. Now, I want to talk about the impact
New York.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
There's a back and forth now with Cleo Trappa and
Chinese Kitty. Now, Cleo Trappa posted you whack I spice
sidekick little Bill in the face, bad body Bee. Keep
Kitty's name out of your mouth when you know you're
really I can't even read these words yet.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
She posted a message that was sent to her.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
But we don't know who the message is fired.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
We don't know who sent the message.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
The phone numbers on there though, so.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Yes, she did have the phone number, but we know.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Who it's from.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
And she said, so y'alla telling me this girl was
going to say a colorist comment but caught herself. Oh
you're right, because after the premiere of the first episode,
I received this anonymous text and being that I have
a brand new number, and it was shared with her
through a cast group chat. So she's basically accusing Chinese
Kitty of you know, sending this message out.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
And here's what she's saying about catching herself.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
I could fight you right here. I can fight you
right here. Yeah, act like yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Act like the.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
I don't know what she was about to say. So
it's hard for me to but Cleo Chappa feels how
she feels how she feels, and the two of them do.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Not get along at all. And this is all over
the stylists, right.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Can you give us a little more insight into that.
Speaker 11 (17:30):
I mean, you know, it's hard for me Ran having
been through this over the last I don't know how
many months working with this wonderful show that you should
watch on Monday nights on VH one, nine pm.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
The impact they act New York, you.
Speaker 11 (17:44):
Know, But look, it happens, right, Sometimes you get on
a show, things you just don't get along. Things go
just don't get along, and that's okay, but you got
to respect each other, right, you got to come to work.
And I think you know they had history before the show.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
So it happened in a Chinese kiddy stylist. So her
friend she doesn't get along with, he doesn't didn't.
Speaker 11 (18:05):
Get along with Cleo or I don't even want to
say didn't get along. I don't really know what their
relationship was before they came on the show, right, Like.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
But it was she hired him to.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
Do a hired him to do something, he didn't.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Fulfill the responsibilities, and it's like it was history there.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
I don't mess with.
Speaker 11 (18:19):
You, right, And now you come on the show together
and this stuff comes up as it does. That's what's
going to happen when you get in front of the camera,
and you know, the cameras really heightened things, right or
because in front of the world, and then you have
everybody else's opinion, and then you have your interview confessionals
where you can say what you want to say and
people really start to hear how you feel.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
They may not see it in real time, they see
it when it airs, and that's what's happening. All right.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Now, let's talk about Beyonce in her new country music songs.
A small town, Oklahoma radio stations under fire. A listener
accused him of purposely barring Beyonce's new country songs. But
according to reports, now the whole thing was warped and
it's been resolved. Here is the Texas hold Them song?
Speaker 9 (19:06):
All right?
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Definitely a country song.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
So the person I guess had requested that song at
the local country station and then got an email back saying, Hi,
we do not play Beyonce as we are a country
music station.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Thank you, But the station is saying it was a
mix up.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
They didn't realize that it was a country song and
so that's what it was. So now they are playing
it and it's being serviced. And Beyonce's producer Killerbee is
talking about maybe some collabse and what's going to be
happening for this new album where the.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Act two comes out.
Speaker 13 (19:34):
Would it be fair for Beyonce's fans to expect there
are going to be some guest artists on that album.
Let's just say that she is on the approach of
shopping the world.
Speaker 11 (19:47):
All right, let's see tell us I want to I
want to Michael Jackson.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
When he said all that, I was like, oh, it
is Michael Jackson going to collaborate?
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Well, that is your yut when we come back under
the radar, these are the stories that are flying under
the radar, and be that. It's Valentine's Day. We got
good news and bad news for you. It's way up
this in the.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
News that relates to you. These stories are flying under
the radar.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
It's the way you put angela Ye, I'm Angela Ye.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Kim Alsario is here, I am Kim, and we're celebrating
Valentine's Day with y'all. This is like our Gallentine's Day
on the air. It's time for under the radar.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Now.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Our relationship expert Jamie Bronstein is saying that you should
be cautious about being with somebody who is an only
child who grew up alone. All right, now, if you date,
look for red flags like not feeling prioritized enough. If
you're doing all the work and the relationship and putting
in all the effort that it's time to communicate your.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Needs and issues with sharing.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Avoiding conflict and high expectations can be negatives to having
a partner who doesn't have siblings.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Have you ever dated an only child?
Speaker 11 (20:44):
I don't think so, Yeah, but I could see how
that would be true. Yeah, you know.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
So they're used to being a priority and sometimes they
can be a little bit selfish.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
So that's one of the things that you can deal with.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
It's not a you know, don't do it, but it's
a watch out for those red flags and be able
to come unicate. Yes, all right, syphilis it's skyrocketing now.
Experts are worried about nobody caring about it. They said,
we need to talk about it. It's a huge problem.
The situation is serious, and they're concerned that many members
of the general public don't seem bothered by it, going
(21:16):
about sex without taking the forquestions that you need to take,
you know, they said, syphilist a lot of people don't
care because it was actually pretty rare for a while,
but now it's fact. Yeah, and even like with people
who are given birth, there's like the cases have risen
three times. So I'm just telling you guys, some things
that can happen. Total blindness, Oh wow, is one thing.
(21:39):
Permanent vision impairment, you know, is a consequence from that.
If it's left untreated and if you allowed to test it,
because it can't be treated with antibiotics, it can affect
your brain, your nervous system. It can cause dementia, and
in some cases that are very severe, it can cause death.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
So you should pay attention, use a condom, yeah, to
what's going on, and get tested because, because God forbid
you have it, at least it's treatable.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Right now.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
You should put sex on the calendar today for Valentine's Day.
According to reports, it's a great opportunity to put it
on a calendar. But don't just focus on the act
itself at the end of the evening.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Focus on it all day. Are you texting somebody special today?
Later on?
Speaker 3 (22:20):
You know, sleep the night before, eat healthy, go to
the gym, be kind to your partner, collaborate on chores,
put your phone away, have a romantic dinner. Whatever it
is that you do. Get into that sexual mindset, yes,
and deepen your awareness and make a list of three things,
and you know it could be some fun things. Your
pet peeves, your sensitivities and see what your partner has
(22:44):
on their list. So bring awareness to certain aspects, reignite
your inner spark, keep an open mind.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Maybe you want to try something you never did before.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Wear sexy pajamas, ladies.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Ooh, now you didn't say lingerie. You said pajamas.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
That's my problem. I'm trying myself that.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
You don't have to say sexy pajamas. You can just
say lingerie.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
All right, sorry, I'm learning.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
All right, Well, we're gonna get you some sexy pajamas,
maybe some flannels with the butt open.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
In the back. All right, Well that is.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
You're under the radar wearing them sexy pajamas.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Y'all.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
We got the way up mixing the top of the
Hour plus all things Valentine's Day. Today, we're gonna be
talking to you and we have SCY eight hundred two
nine fifty one fifty.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
It's way up. She's like the talk like they Angela Jean,
like they Angela Jean.
Speaker 5 (23:30):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaty way up.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela ye. And
Kimmel Sario is here.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Hey, let's get.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Into some yet now, This was a little messy, and
I will say it's hard to watch people's like family
drama play out on social media. But this all started
with Club Shah. Has a lot of things that are
starting nowadays, exactly exactly, and Monique was on Club Chah
talking about repairing her relatetionlationship with her son Chalan.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
And then her son Chealan responded.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
He actually went live because he said he felt like
this was the best way for his voice to be
heard and for him to say what he wanted to say.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Here's part of what he said to.
Speaker 14 (24:11):
Address the clips to Shit interview that she did where
she states and she prays to the universe in regards
to reconciling our relationship. As I stated, it is odd.
My mother and I both know that that is a
very false narrative and I would like to free her
of having to continue telling that lie.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Okay, now, Monique went on social media then and responded,
and of course she was with her husband while the
two of them sat there and discussed what they feel
like is happening here pretty much defended herself against what
he had to say.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
And here's what she said.
Speaker 8 (24:46):
There's some people that are saying, oh, you should be
ashamed of your mothering skills. You should be ashamed of yourself.
This is what I'll say. Let's let it play out.
Because the same ones that said to me I was crazy,
I was deranged, we watched it play out. So just
like with my son, we'll watch this play.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Out, all right. And you know, there were some things
about him not being able to call his stepfather dad
and things like that.
Speaker 11 (25:12):
It's always really hard, especially with your kids, right. I
never want to have to address anything in public with
my kids. It's a hard position to be in.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
But all right, and and it felt like her husband
talked more than she did when it came to responding
to Chelan. And then Monique went on to post some
receipts some text messages between her and her son. She said, Hey,
my sweet babies, here are the receipts from my mother,
who allegedly does not love her son. We are sharing
this with you, Chalan and the community. Some of completely
(25:42):
get it, others won't. We love us for real? But
then people were having some backlash because the messages are
three years old, and so the more you happen over ye, I.
Speaker 11 (25:53):
Think you just leave it alone when it comes to
like those type of family situations, you just gotta go.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Or you gotta just say I love my child, right
and that's it and we will handle this.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
Well, Monique also in that club interview, just to bring
this back up, said some things about Tiffany Hattish and
here's what she said originally, And she said, well.
Speaker 8 (26:13):
I don't do business like Monique do business. And I'm
glad I don't have that husband of hers. And when
I saw that, it's like, Tiffany, if you had a
husband like mine, you may not have to do UIs.
If you had a husband like mine, you may not
be caught up in what looks like you could have
been grooming a child. And I say all of that
(26:33):
was no judgment.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
All right.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Well, Tiffany Hattis did respond afterward, and the way Tiffany
had to says she's gonna address it, all right.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
And here's what she said.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
I feel like at you're talking about you know how
we do. So I was like, oh, dang, I've been
on your mind.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
I don't even know I was on your mind. So
I'm grateful, all right.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Well, and she did say she has respect for Monique too.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Yeah, yeah, pettiness though all around the board.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
I mean, dal Hugly had some things to say. He said,
let me make something very clear. The things you know
about me that you judge me on in these comments
is because I made them known. I accept the accountability
and responsibility. You don't stand on truth until you can
stand on the worst of what you've done and accept
your fault. You can't hurt me with the very truth.
I took accountability for people.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Just need to talk to each other.
Speaker 11 (27:18):
At this point, y'all just putting it all on social
for the public to see.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
Just talk to each other.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
This comedian beef is like rack, It's a lot.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
It's a lot.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
All right, Well, that is your yet and when we
come back we have asked Yee eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty any question you have.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Me and Kim are here to help you out its.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
Way up, whether it's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
You should know if this.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Is ask gee, what's up as way up with Angela Yee?
I'm Angela Yee and Kim Alsario's here.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
Now.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
One thing about both me and Kim is we love
stand up comedy and we go to comedy shows together
all the time. So for ask ye, this is a
good one for both of us to answer. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty Tracy, what's that?
Speaker 1 (28:01):
What's your question?
Speaker 6 (28:02):
I have such stage rights, but I want to get
on stage and become a comedian.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Okay, and we're listening.
Speaker 6 (28:11):
My passagers tell me I'm funny. But the problem is
my brother and my husband are comedians and I don't
want to make them look bad.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
The only way that you're gonna get good at it
is to actually do it anyway. Yeah, I actually did
this series on Facebook called Mastery of Comedy where I
had Ada Rodriguez down now Rowlings where with Junior and
Carlos Miller giving tips to up and coming comics on
things that you can do on stage to improve when
it comes to delivery being more comfortable. You should watch
(28:42):
that because they gave some really great tips and you
got to see the difference from when they first started on.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Stage to where they are now.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
I would recommend you do some smaller rooms, let people
film you so that you can look back at it
and see what you need to improve on, you know,
and get physical to get physically comfortable on stage, though.
You have have to actually do it, and that's all
there is to it, and you have to know that
sometimes it may not be the best at first, but
you're learning.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Can't You like, picture everybody in their underwear.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
To do and you could get out there and part
of you being nervous could be part of your set.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Yeah, you know that's relatable.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
Maybe you go up there and sit down like you're
driving in lift an uber and be like, look y'all,
they don't tell me I was funny in the car,
So I'm gonna get up here and pretend I'm jigging.
Speaker 11 (29:25):
Lifting writers right on your stand up right now, she's
right in the stand up somewhere.
Speaker 10 (29:31):
I'm not going to tell my husband, but.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Just so you know, the worst thing that could happen
is to get booed. Yeah, and it can go viral.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
Yeah, and then your career is over. No, I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
But at least it didn't really start, right, and that's it.
Look go up there, talk about the worst thing that
could happen, right, and make it sound even worse. Yeah,
But you know, Tracy, Tracy, people can relate to what
it is that you're going through right now though, wanting
to start something you and being scared and being nervous,
(30:03):
and I think that once you overcome it and you
look back on that time when you were so nervous
and so scared, you're gonna be like, it is amazing
to see what this journey has been. There's no better
feeling than being scared to do something and accomplishing it.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
No risk, no risk, no reward. Tracy, I agree.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
All right, Well, thank you for calling.
Speaker 10 (30:23):
All right, you're very welcome, thank you all right?
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Ye that was ask ye eight hundred two ninety two,
fifty one to fifty in case you couldn't get through.
And being that is Valentine's Day, we put out a
special episode on lip Service with Chicklet and MILLENNI you
know them from being a viral couple, but Kim, you
know them from working with them on The Impact New York,
New York, and so one thing we talked about was
role reversals.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Here's what they had to say. So you think if.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
You guys got married, you would stay home and be
like the Manny, Oh yeah.
Speaker 15 (30:52):
I wouldn't. Mom being in the crib. I'm like, you
have these goals of wanting to be an actor. I
already knew that, but that's why I was mad about
the kids situation when she bung it up.
Speaker 9 (30:59):
I don't have kids.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I'm like who else?
Speaker 15 (31:00):
So I could be home with the.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Roles reversed.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
So the question is, what do you think about traditional
roles and reversing those traditional roles?
Speaker 4 (31:10):
They're necessary, they are right.
Speaker 11 (31:12):
When I first left my daughter home for the first
time with my ex husband, he cut her finger and
she bled for hours.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Okay, so well, we'll talk about it more when we
come back. We want to see what you guys think.
Kim's got some stories eight hundred nine fifty fifty. Tell
us what you think is way up?
Speaker 5 (31:30):
You vibing way up with Angela ye more?
Speaker 1 (31:33):
Now what's up?
Speaker 3 (31:35):
Is way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
Kim Osario is here. Me and Kim are both like
would you say it's the term alpha females. I don't
know what we'll call it, but anyway, I will say
we're both really take charge in everyday life as far
as our roles in the workplace. But when it comes
to relationships, right, do you have like any type of
(31:56):
traditional roles? That you prefer that you find yourself in person. Absolutely,
what is that?
Speaker 4 (32:02):
I do the cooking, I do the cleaning.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
You've been sitting here talking about cooking all day?
Speaker 11 (32:06):
Yes, this is These are my womanly thing. I'm very
submissive in a relationship. Okay, right, I'm less triggered and.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
Then but then that's start.
Speaker 11 (32:15):
But when you feel safe, yes and loved, Yes, I
will do all the womanly duties.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
I am much of a planner still in a relationship,
like I plan like then in general.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
That's the always thing. I feel like that. But I
don't know if I'm overwhelming. I don't think I am.
Speaker 11 (32:33):
I don't think you're overwhelming in a relationship. A lot
of women who are bosses in the workplace, they at
home are something completely different.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
And I do like I will do like all the laundry,
the cleaning up and everything. But that's how I am,
like a little OCD anyway, But I want to hear
what you guys. Then here's what Ticklet and me Lennie
had to say on lip service.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
So you think if you guys got married, you would
stay home and be like the manny, Yeah, don't.
Speaker 15 (32:57):
I wouldn't Mom being in the crib. I'm like, you
have these goals, wanted to be an actor. I already
knew that, but that's why I was mad about the
kids situation when she brung it up, like I don't
have kids, I'm like, what so I could be home
with the.
Speaker 9 (33:08):
Reversed?
Speaker 8 (33:09):
All right?
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Well that episode is that right now?
Speaker 3 (33:11):
I want to hear your thoughts about perhaps role reversals,
rite what traditional roles are?
Speaker 1 (33:16):
We have Jessica on the line with that.
Speaker 7 (33:18):
Jessica, I'm so well, how are you?
Speaker 4 (33:21):
I'm good.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
It's me and Kim. We're talking about role reversal. What
do you think about that in a relationship?
Speaker 16 (33:26):
So I don't necessarily see it being an issue like
I'm single, but throughout, like a lot of my relationships,
I was always the leader and I can't be some
that the religion sit there and make.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
That very clear.
Speaker 16 (33:39):
But the only problem is is that a lot of
lack leadership and I would not want to do to
lead me into a darkbits.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Okay, you have to, and you know what, That's why
it's about trust, right, Like you can allow somebody to
lead if you trust their leadership.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Hey, Ebanie, how are you?
Speaker 6 (33:56):
Hi? Angela?
Speaker 9 (33:57):
How are you.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
It's me and Kim and we tell going about role reversals.
Speaker 16 (34:01):
I feel like it depends.
Speaker 6 (34:03):
I'm very independent, so sometimes some dominance comes out if
I'm talking or starting to date somebody. I feel like
if a man just comes correct and is on his
macho and financially, you know, taking care of me and
doing what he has to do, and that could be
very submissive.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Okay, see that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
You have to feel safe, yes, you know, you have
to feel like I can allow myself to let you
have provided but it's nice to know you don't need it, right,
you allow it?
Speaker 4 (34:33):
All right?
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Absolutely?
Speaker 10 (34:34):
Agree?
Speaker 1 (34:35):
Well, thank you, Ebany, thank you? Hey doo, how are you?
Speaker 9 (34:39):
Hey?
Speaker 11 (34:39):
How's it going?
Speaker 1 (34:40):
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
It's me and Kim and we're talking about your role
in a relationship.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
What would you say is your role? And how do
you feel about reversals?
Speaker 17 (34:47):
So with reversals, I'm not opposed to it. I feel
like in my relationship, depending on certain things, submissive and
my wife is like super like on top of things,
like she's dominant, but you know, like we're taking care
of the household. I feel like I'm more dominant the area,
but I don't try to do it all, you know,
like you know, she wants to take at least some times,
it's totally fine with me.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Okay, good, that's a trusting Yeah.
Speaker 11 (35:10):
It sounds traditional, right, sounds like she's doing the housework, right.
Speaker 9 (35:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (35:15):
Well, she'll put me to do her certain housework, like
especially the dishes, taking up the trash, all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
So she has to make you do it. She has
to make you do you know.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Sometimes y'all don't do the dishes right and be like,
who did these dishes?
Speaker 17 (35:28):
Yeah, that's how she is. When I try to clean
the bathroom, she she does it all over again by herself.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Course, yeah, because you know why, because y'all cleaning it
is more like straightening up.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
But we still appreciate the efforts.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
Hands and knees.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
All right, thank you for calling.
Speaker 17 (35:44):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (35:44):
All right, Well, make sure you watch that full episode
of lip Service with check Lingam and Lenni because it's
out now. It's our Valentine's Day special, Me and Kim,
just two traditional gals.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Thanks for having me here on Valentine's Day.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Yes, and when we come back, of course, we have
the last word with y'all. As the stars of the show.
It's way up.
Speaker 14 (36:02):
Take up the.
Speaker 5 (36:03):
Phone tap to get your voice heard. What the word
here's the last word on Way Up with Angela Yee?
Speaker 1 (36:10):
What's up is Way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
I'm Angela Ye and I've been here with my Gallantine
Valentine date all morning and afternoon. Came out, Sirio. Hey,
thanks Kim for guest hosting. We also went to go
see Wicket together on Broadway. This is my moment, I
know COMI go with it.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
Oh my god. I love Wicked. It is my favorite
ball Way show of all time.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
When I mentioned that I was going to see it,
she was like, please, please please bring me, and she's
