Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast AM on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Welcome back to Coast to Coast AM. I'm your host,
Rich Bara for the evening in Ball. Huntingman is a
psychic terat card reader and she's an astrologer based in
the UK. She's opened her private practice twenty five years ago.
Since then she's appeared on TV radio like shows like this,
and in magazines and all over the British press with

(00:26):
her predictions, compatibility analysis and love of manifesting, which we
are going to talk to talk about. Can you like
you really use the stars to get what you want
out of love? Let's welcome her on in Please welcome
to the show. Hey Inball, nice to meet you.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Hi, Rich. Thank you so much for having me.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
We sort of hunted you down over there across the
sea because we were so interested in the things that
you had to say, so I appreciate you. I don't
know what time is it over there, by the way,
I don't think I know six oh, so you got
up nice and early for us. Does your powers work
this early?

Speaker 3 (01:06):
I think this is going to be like a first time,
so we're just going to have to check it out.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Well, you know what will warm up slow so that
we can get all the lightning that cruises through your
veins to kind of get things going. So for those
of us like me that are interested, but we don't
really understand astrology, what exactly is astrology?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Astrology was a science. It is now classed as a pseudoscience,
but only two hundred years ago, astrology and astronomy were
the same pursuit. It is a correlation of the planet,
of how the planets move around in the sky, how

(01:49):
they were at the moment of your birth, and how
they are at each moment since, and the impact that
those planets might have on your personality, on your behavior,
on the opportunities that you attract. So it's really looking
at a map of the sky in order to calculate

(02:15):
things that are happening in your regular life here on Earth.
So when you're standing up in line to pay for
the grocery store and somebody cuts ahead of you, was
it all written in the stars? Yeah? Yeah, a little bit.
Kind of big life events such as an engagement, the
birth of a child, moving countries could be indicated or

(02:39):
could be interpreted by a good astrologer years in advance
in fact, from the moment of your birth, whether you
are a friendly and outgoing person or a quiet and
indoorsy person would be shown in your chart. And each

(03:00):
person's natal chot is a lot more complex than just
the day that they're born their star sign, because we
look at where all the planets were, all the planets
of the Solar system were at the moment of your birth,
and that gives us quite a complex, intricate web of

(03:23):
the different planets, how close they are to one another,
how they relate to everything else that's going on in
the sky. So it is a fascinating topic, and you know,
can kind of only explore a little corner of it
at a time because there's so much to it.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Well, let's take it. Let's take a couple of corners
and explore a little bit. So explain to me some
I'm hearing what you're saying. So, what about the stars
being aligned a certain way at the moment of my
birth can have anything to do with your personality or
you know, how you pursue romance or you know what
annoys you in life? What do the stars in the

(04:04):
sky have to do with the moment of your birth?
How do they correlate.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
So if we're trying to find a why, I have
to sort of start from the beginning. I have no
idea why it's for me. I'm pisces like you, but
you know this is from the Google. I'm advised like you,
and so for me, everything is a wonder, everything is magical.

(04:31):
I don't have a good exciting theory about it. Astrology
is thousands of years old. Before TikTok, people didn't have
that much do so they would come out of their cave,
look at the sky, see where the planets were. And
so astrology came about by way of observation and correlation,

(04:54):
noticing the links between a baby who was born at
that moment of spring and where the planets were, and
how that baby then group grew up to be. So
it's more of of sort of a science, you know,

(05:16):
let's call it an art that was created by noticing
patterns that were evident enough to be taken down and
seen in existence in real life. And the star signs
that we see now I think are a great example

(05:38):
where you can kind of bunge people into their star signs,
even when we look at simple things like types of
jobs that they're interested in or even how they look.
I'll tell you a funny story. Sorry, we got time
for funny story?

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Sure, yeah, go ahead, but we're all young. This is
all you today, Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
So yeah, so let's let me let me diverge a
little bit. Is a funny story. I used to work
on a lunchtime show here in the UK. It was
on Teita, like on proper TV, and it was called
Steps Back at Lunch and it was kind of a
I suppose, quirky, sarcastic look at the topics of the day.

(06:25):
It was a lunchtime show on regular TV, and nobody
there within like the you know, the main presenter, the chef,
the comedian, nobody there really believed in astrology. For them,
it was a very tongue in cheek, hilarious little thing to,
you know, to joke about. I think the way it
is for a lot of people, and I'm all in

(06:45):
for that. I love a laugh, but all of them
not believing in it did not get in the way
of One day, Steph, the presenter had mentioned something about
being a Gemini, and then the comedian that was on
that day said, huh, I'm a Gemini too, and then

(07:07):
the chef went, yeah, I'm a Gemini too, What are
the odds? And I thought, very smugly, what are the
odds that the majority of people standing in front of
a camera in the middle of the day getting paid
to show off would be Gemini's I would say, the
odds are very high.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Logical interesting. Well, so I guess that gets me to
the next question is I'm kind of discovering this the
astrology parts with you. How much more or less do
you think the way you were raised by your parents
has to do with your personality as opposed to the stars.
What's the balance there?

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Do you think I could not get a better question
if I had written it myself. Sit right down, rich,
I don't want to send to myself, but let me
take myself as an example, because it's the you know,
it's a best example. I know my own life. I
grew up in a household where the rest of the

(08:08):
people were Earth signs, Earth signs or borderline Earth signs.
So Earth signs are tous Virgo and Capricorn, and Earth
signs are down to Earth right, it's right there in
the description. They like routine, they care what the neighbors say.

(08:28):
They like to keep things neat and tidy. They have
serious jobs for serious people. So my father's a Bergo,
my brother's a Taurus, and my mom is an Aquarius,
but very very close to the Capricorn. And there I
was a pissy's child, easy to cry, very intuitive, go

(08:49):
with the flow. Really at odds to the kind of
upbringing I received and the pull to engaging in Pisces
activities such as sort of being very sociable but kind
of on a low key, always with your friends. Having

(09:10):
as fascination with ancient Egypt.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Ancient that's my favorite ancient Egypt.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Really, oh me too, I was obsessed. I was obsessed
with all the day.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
The biggest reason I'm on the show is my my
love for all that ancient culture.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Right, So it is I really think it's a Piscy
thing because again, diverging, we'll never find our way back now, diverging,
we're also right, so exactly, you know we'll come back.
We'll I find my way back from from sort of
pursuing different points eventually. But I you know, but I

(09:50):
wouldn't sort of start a new game now. So that
piece is fashion fascination with not just the past, with
like history pre comes because Pieces is the final sign
of the zodiac, and for people who believe in reincarnation,
Pieces is often seen as the final reincarnations. So we have,

(10:15):
you know, like AONs of history behind us, and we
have this pull towards ancient civilizations. So those Pieces pursuits
were not taught to me and were not impressed upon me.
They were pursuits that were of interest to me and

(10:35):
me alone. I acknowledge my privilege in being able to
pursue things that were outside of what the norm was
in my household. I'm guessing that for people with more
limited resources, or for people with who grew up in

(10:56):
extremely strict environments where their parents would not allow them
to take interest in, you know, and whatever whims they had,
might not be able to pursue what would be right
for their star sign. But just based on my little
example and literally everybody that I've ever met in my

(11:17):
whole life, you will eventually fall within the lines of
your star sign. I really think it is. I think
it is fascinating because I'll just sort of, you know,
kind of scroll back to where I was mentally in childhood. Right,
you don't think outside of your frame of reference, because

(11:39):
it's impossible for you to think outside of your frame
of reference. So as a child, I thought maybe when
I grew up, I would become a nurse, because that's
a very piscey profession, nurse, psychologist, something in the caring professions.
And I'm still you know, it blows my mind. I'm
still completely in shock that I managed to take what

(12:01):
is by you know, by far, the most pisist interest
and turn it into an entire career, something that when
I was small, didn't you know, it didn't really exist,
the career option when it came to career day. You
would never get psychic on the car. Nobody would give
you that. But even before this entire path became, you know,

(12:26):
very very clear direction for me, I was still leaning
more towards the ideas and interests and mindset that was
in line with my star sign and not at all
with the ideas and the mindset and the you know,

(12:49):
choice of preferred professions that were in line with what
my family would have preferred for me.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Makes a lot of sense to me, because I think
if you're if you're you know, uniquely you what the
earth the whether you're opposed to your signs or whatever,
it's almost like you almost get guided down that path
of like, well, now I've got to pursue this because
nobody else understands what I am, and don't we all
want to kind of understand who we are.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I think that's the pursuit of life. Sure, and for
some people it might be, you know, a very short
journey if you're lucky enough to have a family that
supported you into becoming exactly who you are, if you
grow up in a culture that celebrates the individual, then
you know, it's hopefully very short journey. But for some

(13:44):
people it's a lifelong journey. And if you're in an
oppressive society that forces you, for example, to choose a
mate and make a commitment for them for the rest
of your life when you're too young to process such things,
then in the worst case scenario, you might stay imprisoned

(14:06):
within that paradigm. In the best case scenario, you find
your way out, but then you find yourself perhaps ostracized
and lonely. So there is an element of luck to that.
But I really think that is the pursuit of life.
How can I create the life that is uniquely suited,

(14:29):
that is uniquely joy making for me? Because what makes
me happy is not exactly the same as what makes
you happy, is not the same as what makes my
child happy. So how do I look into their chart
and figure out how to be the best per parent
I can be to them? Because everybody is very, very,

(14:49):
very individual, even within pairs of twins.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
I going to We're going to get to all that.
We're going to get to all that. We have to
rull this out in a specific manner. So since we
have your expertise tonight, we are going to get into
the Valentine's Day neis of today. Well, it's you know,
it was yesterday for you since you're across the pond.
But you are okay to take some calls, right And
as we take calls, what are the kind of things

(15:16):
that you're looking for, Like what sort of questions should
people be be asking you maybe not too specific, or
what would you like when people get on the phone.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
No, I'm really comfortable. Again, it's very pisty think. I'm
really comfortable going with the with the individual, going with
what the person wants to know about. So we've got astrology,
But in my view, astrology can be a little bit
limiting and limited over these kind of medium. So I
also have a deck of tarot cards there.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Oh yeah, I'd have to ask you about that. So
you you do tarot as well. That's something else I
don't really know too much about. But I love that
you got that tool and your tool chest. Does the
does the tarot.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Back up about the taro?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Does it back up the astrology? Do you find the taro?

Speaker 3 (16:05):
The taro was my gateway drug to astrology. The tarot
packs a lot of astrology in it because it's not
just about sign. The tarot has a lot in it
about the planet as their as individual planets and how
they influence different signs. So, for example, the planet Jupiter,

(16:26):
planet of luck, can have entirely different and entirely different
influence on say Es Sagittarius as it would on a
Scorpio because they receive those blessings in a very different
way because of their unique personalities, and the tarot embodies
all of that. So for me, they work beautifully in tandem.
