Members of an International Space Station crewsaid astronaut Frank Rubio has now been cleared
(03:38):
of allegations that he ate one ofthe first ever tomatoes harvested in space,
and those are allegations. So whatthis was a big deal when they finally
grew a tomato in outer space, right it went missing? No, how
many people are up there, Imean the the people that didn't have to
(03:59):
be like, what for guys? One of these four guys did it?
Yes, well, so they thoughtit was Frank Rubio and he's like,
I swear I didn't eat it.Well, now, NASA astronaut Jasmine Mogble
says they have found the tiny tomatoeight months later. Don't tell me they
have rats in space. They foundit. It was like kind of shriveled
(04:19):
up because it was like floating aroundthe International Space Station. Oh my god,
that's funny. The Satanic Temple hasset up a display inside of the
Iowa State Capitol building right next toall of the other holiday decorations. That's
weird. So it's you know,Hanukkah, you've got the Menora up,
and Christmas you've got the Manger Christmastree. And the Satanic Temple said,
(04:42):
well, freedom of speech, sowe're putting up our display as well.
Sometimes I hate that freedom of speechstuff. What is it that they put
up? I think it's like agiant goat. Giant goat said, that's
kind of cool. Did Dave Grohlget involved and wrestle these people to the
ground. That's what he does.A man says he still loves his ex
(05:02):
girlfriend even though she shot him inthe testicle. That's true love, man,
this guy, Yeah, I agreewith you, Janny. This has
got to be true love. Hesays his ex girlfriend asked him to take
a walk, but he noticed thatshe had a gun. She said,
no, honey, it's just apellet gun. And he said, well,
I don't want to go anywhere withyou. If you've got a gun,
like, let me see it.So she pulled it out and shot
(05:24):
him in the testicle. Is sheclaiming, oh man, I didn't know
this thing would go off. Ohno. She is facing charges of assault,
and he said, despite the factshe shot me, I still love
her. Okay, man, youyou up people more life. If made
me shot me in the nerds,I'd be really mad. But Danny,
you had a girlfriend shoot you, well, not in the nerds, in
(05:45):
the armpit. And I just figuredto myself, she's a reasonable woman,
and I figured if she wanted toshoot me, she just shot me in
the head. So I believed herthat this was an accident. So she
says, she accidentally shot you inthe armpit and you still loved her.
Yeah, that's totally true. That'sexactly how I went. Do you think
I think that places like apartment buildingsor houses businesses can carry good and bad
(06:06):
mojo? Sure, I absolutely believethat. And you might want to purchase
the residential recording studio in Wales thatwas the spot for Black Sabbath to record.
Oh, you know those guys mainlynervous. Well, this is a
place going up for sale for twopoint four to five million dollars. Is
it worth it without the story? Is it worth it? It's supposed to
(06:27):
be gigantic and pretty epic. Oh, and there's a recording studio inside.
Oh and by the way, ifit's supposed to be gigantic, you should
have known it wasn't. This iswhere Ozzy Osbourne drew pentagrams on the wall.
Jimmy Page drew a mural, soyou know you could find all sorts
of rock and roll history inside ofher. That's cool. I know when
I went to Electric Lady Studios inNew York City for the first time,
(06:49):
you just got goosebumps. You knewsomething important to happen there, totally you
did. That's a good find TaylorSwift's Era's tour has had a new record
with over one billions and gross ticketsales. Man, that's good. That
girl's cool. This tour was Pollstar'snumber one worldwide tour, also topping the
North American tour charts. In merchandise, they brought in over two hundred million
(07:15):
for the year. Wow. Herconcert film has gross over two hundred and
fifty million. Oh yeah, I'malone. Then there's the billion from her
actual tour. Mike's go on therecord saying Taylor Swift is rich. Yeah.
Yeah. Isn't she the person ofthe year. She was Time Magazine's
Person of the Year. Wow,it's wild. The tours that brought in
the most was Taylor Swift, followedby Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay,
(07:35):
Harry Styles, Morgan Wallen, EdSharon and Pink Wow. All a great
line about it's a shocking to methat Bruce Springsteen still wants to tour around
the world doing tours. He's closeto my age and he has all the
money in the world. Because thatguy really wants to play just for you.
Yeah. I think he's nearing seventy. Okay, he's a little I
am dig this. This came upyesterday. I'm now officially six years just
(07:58):
counted six years younger than I'm inlaw. Oh is that weird? Aren't
you always six years younger than yourmother in law? Yeah? But I
had to talk to somebody about it. Yesterday. I was talking about my
neighbors. We were all looking forhouses, Uh so I could retire in
Palm Springs. And my neighbors mether and she thought, they thought,
and this has happened for that shewas amy lovely. I didn't hear about
(08:18):
that till she was gone from town. So that's a weird one to explain.
Big News of the Day is broughtto you by Goldberg Jones Divorce for
Men one eight hundred divorce or onlineGoldburg Jones dot com. Coming up next,
Danny has an opinion to share onadult braces. What does he have
to say about him? We'll findout what Danny Bonaducci's take, which is
next on one of two point fiveK's Okay the Classic Rackstation one O two
(08:39):
point five, Katie Bonna Ducci's take, Thank you, here's my take on
adult braces. When you're saying helloto someone and if last she was a
smile, and all of a suddenyou hit with the fact that they are
full on grown ups wearing braces ontheir teeth. I have questions, where
do I look? How should Ibehave? Should I mention your braces in
direct sunlight? Are you going toblind me? Well? I apologize.
If you're wearing adult braces, youfully deserve the teeth of your dreams.
(09:03):
You're also awesome because you're telling therest of us that you believe in yourself.
I can picture yourself looking in themirror and saying, you know,
when I get these puppies off, forty nine is going to be my year,
and I hope it is. WhenI was a kid, you got
made fun of if you had braces, brace face, metal mouth, that
kind of thing. Nowadays, ifyou didn't have them, you probably wish
that you had. Later on,when you go to your high school reunions,
your teeth are going to be perfectlystraight. You'll face those boys with
(09:26):
adult braces. But in certain ways, it does seem like kind of a
strange choice. What took you solong? Isn't this mostly a thing for
kids? Do you have something againstin VISI line? And that's my take
on adult braces. Why don't youbuy five? Kz okay the classic rock
station. All week long, weare celebrating Danny Bonaducci, who this week
announced that he will be retiring twelveyears here in Seattle. Danny, you
(09:48):
and I got together in Philadelphia, what about fourteen years ago? I'm just
about So we're sharing memories, andwe've got listeners who are sharing memories of
your time here and talking to somepeople from our past as well. Our
old producer Metro aka Michael Serio joiningthe show sharing some memories. Hey,
(10:09):
Metro, I am the ghost ofPhiladelphia Pass. How are you, man?
Good man? How are you well? I'm trying. I'm retiring,
so I'm doing pretty well. Iknow. Congratulations. That's awesome. You
know you are a lot younger thanme, right, I think so.
I feel like you're eternal, butI feel like I might be. So
how's everything going with you? Iheard you are a big shot. Now
(10:30):
I know I'm not a big shot, but I'm doing all right. I
grew up a little bit. Ihave a two year old, but still
doing radio stuff over here in Philadelphia. And well, congratulations on your child.
Thank you so much. You're morethan welcome. That really straightens out
because I know you were a kidwhen I may certainly, but a kid
that will straighten you right out.So Metro we are. We're sharing a
(10:52):
lot of different memories about Danny Bonaducci. You are a producer for quite a
while, and you've known Danny evenlonger than I have. But some of
the memories that have to stand outto you must involve him fighting. Actually,
the very first time I met Dannywas when he was fighting Jose Con
Sato, I think, before weeven really were working together. And then
(11:13):
I spent a lot of years withDanny fighting various people. We spent a
lot of time just inviting big peoplewho fight for a living into the studio
and asked him to either punch Dannyor break something over his head because wrestlers,
UFC fighters everybody. Hey, bythe way, both those things happen.
Yeah, there was a wrestler thatcame in the studio. I didn't
(11:35):
I wasn't into wrestling. Then aguy comes into the thing and I go,
I got a great idea, bustyour guitar over my head. And
he said, well, we haven'tfixed this guitar, so woud buss Eily,
and I said, I don't care. And it hurt way more than
I thought it would. When wefirst heard about the diagnosis, we you
know, trying to talk amongst ourselves, people that used to work with you
in Philadelphia, and went, oh, no, did we break Danny Bonaducci
(11:56):
from trying to break so much stuffover his head over the years. That
guitar was given to me as likea graduation present from my parents. And
then Tommy Dreamer from the WWE camein and said, hey, let's try
to bust it over Danny's head andwe did. It took a couple couple
hits, but we eventually did.It did take a couple of whacks.
You know. I will tell youthis, one of the better things I
(12:18):
got out of my show in Philadelphiawas Sarah and now it's just a lovely
thing. And I remember they're goingto transfer me to Seattle, and I
said, do you want to gowith me? And she said yeah,
and we ended up here. Soit's been a great time and you were
at the very beginning of it.I wanted to know that I really appreciate
the time we had together. Youknow, you were a kid, I
think, but you really kind ofset me straight on the parameters of radio,
(12:41):
and I am grateful for you toit. You know what the thing
is, when you were in Philadelphia, we did so much different stuff.
Between guitars breaking over your head.We we flung hot dogs at you at
rapid speed down a hallway. That'sone of my favorite moments. We yea
mine too, man. We puta shock collar on you. We did
you know you name it, wedid it to you. But the thing
(13:01):
is, through all of that, you had such a great heart and we're
such a great friend to all ofus during your time in Philadelphia, and
you know, big thank you toyou for helping me grow up and shaping
a lot of me as a mantoo. Well, that's that's a lovely
thought. And I'll tell you realquickly. I give you one of my
memories. And you must have setthis up because the Eagles are pretty serious
about what they do and where theyplay. When I first got here,
(13:22):
I ziplinded, where what do theEagles play in? What stadium? Yeah?
Linked Financial Field. I ziplined intothat from all three hundred feet up
to down, And the only messageI got was they said, don't hurt
the grass. With your high heels. I said, they're not high heels,
they're cowboy boots. But they're veryconcerned about their turf and real quick.
Metro, I think you were agreat warning to me of what good
(13:43):
work and hard work can do.Thank you. That means a lot to
me. And yeah, Danny, you know, there was always the thing
with Danny where that hey, what'sthe highest thing we can drop him off
of for the heaviest thing that wecan hit him with. And when Danny
and I first got together, hewanted to go skydiving. There was a
company that wanted to take the skydiving and I had never gone before and
I was scared to death. Andthey as soon as they load us on
(14:05):
the plane, they were they wantedto show off for Danny. So they
go, we're gonna take you higherthan we've ever taken anyone before. Oh
no, please don't do that.I don't want to go hire as anyone
else. I'm not Danny Baducci.Elvis suits, no Elvis suits that time
around were dressed by Danny Bonaducci, which means that I'm really tight pants and
boots, yeah, cowboy boots.Well, Metro was really great talking to
(14:28):
you buddy, and U you knowI will. I will talk to you
again soon. Like I we havesaid over and over, You're a big
part of my life and radio career. I really appreciate that you took the
time to call into this this yearradio show. And I'll see it soon.
Okay, buddy, Thank you,Sam and likewise and congratulations, Vannie
deserve it. Thanks. I'll talkto you soon. Are you smart?
We mean Sarah Smart? Your chanceto me Smartgas. You will win the
(14:54):

this is such an epic show.Daf Lepper Journey September fourth at t Mobile

here's how the game works. You'regonna get three trivia questions. You need
to get two of three correct inorder to win the title and the tickets.
Our contestant for Smartacus is mar Lisa. Hi, mar Lisa, Hi.
(15:16):
How you doing? You're doing okaythis morning? Oh? I am?

correct in order to win the titleand the tickets. Here we go.
Mutt Lang produced most of the earlydef Leppard albums like Pyromania and Hysteria.
(15:41):
Mutt Lang was married to what Canadiancountry music legend? Got an idea,
mar Lisa Hire straight, I don'tknow. No, mut Lang is not
married to country legend dire straits. All right, here's your second question,
(16:03):
mar Lisa. The Mutts comic striplaunched in nineteen ninety four. It features
primarily what animal mott a puppy dog? Now AARs, mar Lisa? Dog
or cat would have also been acceptable. What sort of dog breed is Scooby
(16:26):
doo? Oh? He is amar Lisa got an answer? Oh,
he's a greyhound. I am sorry. That is correct, mar Lisa,
you are not the winner. JRis an Everette. She narrowed it down.
(16:48):
So you need to just get oneof the questions correct, JR.
Were you paying attention? Yes?I was. Mutt Lang produced many of
the early def Leopard albums like Pyromaniaand Hysteria. Mutt Lang was marry to
what country Canadian country music legend?Well, I don't know that one,
all right? What sort of dog'sScooby Doo Jr. Not paying attention,
(17:15):
she said hound and I said,no, oh, my goodness, Jr.
Eileen is in Silverdale. Eileen,do you know what kind of dog
breedoo Scooby Doo is. He's agreat Dane. You are correct, Eileen?
Yeah? Yeah, I am asmart to guess. And the one
that nobody Yeah you did? Shouldyou knew them? All? I knew
(17:41):
them. I didn't know the secondone, but I knew the first and
the third? Yeah? Should Ia twain? Mutt is about dogs.
Great Dane is the dog breed forScooby Doo and Eileen is Smartaka's congratulations,
Yes, thank you so much.I'm so upscited. This is going to
be the best concert. It's goingto be the best. So we were
talking about how it's Deaf Leopard andJourney, but you know who else is
on the bill? That is cheaptrick? Yes, three for one.
(18:04):
Congratulations Eileen, you have won thetickets courtesy of Live Nation. That show
is September fourth at t Mobile Park. Congrats. Up next to Danny Bonaducci,
Life coach Maria and Kent is onthe phone. She wants to talk
about her son, who she caughtwith a burner phone, thinking that can't
be a good sign. Danny willbe taking her call right after def Leffard.
I'm one of two point five Kazyokathe classic grack station. Dandy Bonaducci
(18:29):
Live Coach Danny Bonaducci is in fora life coach. He's here to help
you out, just one question ata time. If you've got a question,
he will be here for you.You can always email Life Coach at
kazok dot com. Here's Maria inKent. Hey, Maria, how are
you? Hi? How are you? I'm doing well. Thank you.
I'm glad to hear that. Whatcan I do for you today? Well,
let me tell you what's going on. While my son is married,
(18:49):
he has a new baby, andjust the other day I was helping out
at their home. And while Iwas there, he happened to take a
call on his phone. But somethingsit out. I noticed it wasn't his
usual cell phone. It looked likea different one. Oh yeah, I
know, this is a little weird. I'm just one. It is a
little weird. You know, whenyou're talking about your kid. I want
(19:10):
you to know it's not only okay, it's right to be a little suspicious.
Do you know if you think aboutit, and you do know he
wouldn't have called me. How dangerousthat is. He's married and he's gonna
be smitten with some little girl thatwas down the street. She's twenty five
years old, she's beautiful, andnow he's taken phone calls on a burner
phone. No, this is ahuge problem. There's a big problem.
You haven't even told me all ofit. Okay, back to you.
(19:33):
What's going on? That's what Iwas going to say. I think it
could be a secret phone, andto tell you the truth, he got
pretty flustered and went into his roomto take the call. So listen,
I know it wasn't a work phone. And it's so as much as the
pains need to have to say this, I cannot help. But wonder if
he is cheating on his wife, how can you find out what that phone
is? Because if it's a burnerphone or just a different phone. And
(19:53):
he's actually kind of smart learning tobe the life coach, I made a
bunch of bad decisions and I Ihad an affair for a while there,
and I left my phone down onetime one time and it brought down a
house. I lost the respect ofmy children, I lost my now ex
wife, and to be honest withyou, I lost a bunch of money.
This is a bad idea, andI will tell you. If he's
(20:14):
answering a phone that isn't his infront of you so you can see it,
he's begging to get caught. Whywould he do that? I learned
my time. It would never happenagain. Your son. If he's doing
that, and you're right about this, he's dying to tell you, how
can we find out? Can youask him? That's what my dilemma is
too. I don't know if Ishould confront him about it or if it
be to you know, I've wondered, is it best to just mind my
(20:36):
own business, take the hands offapproach? No, I'm taking this personally.
I feel like I raised him tobe better than someone that she's on
his wife. You know, youknow what when you're how old is he?
He's thirty two. What I woulddo is I would mind your your
business for a little while and justkeep my eye open. You would be
surprised the things you will find outjust by looking where you weren't looking.
You weren't looking for that phone. It never crossed your mind. You are
(20:59):
now you want to know who thatphone is and where it goes and who's
calling. And watch him now ifyou think he's cheating, Now that you're
aware, you should live for that. It will be everywhere you'll know.
You'll know in three months of hisdifferent behavior, the different way he talks,
a different way he eats, thathe's going to the gym more of
it. Oh that's kind of agood call. Does he go to the
gym more often than he used to? Maybe a little bit, but I'm
good. I think he could reasons. But I will tell you this.
(21:21):
The signs of somebody cheating, boyor girl are going to the gym more
often, dressing differently, and eatingdifferent foods. Those are the big ones,
because you know you're starting a differentlife with a different girl you don't
even know. So here's my adviceto you. And you're gonna think it's
hard, but I'm not just tellyou what to do and what not to
do. Live your life now.You know that you're looking for something.
If it's happening, you'll find itagain you weren't looking. If you're looking
(21:45):
now and something's going on, youwill absolutely know, and then then you
can confront him. But imagine ifhe's not doing it, think about the
fact that you didn't go and dothat to him. Mind your manners,
keep your place for a little while, and within three or four months you
will absolutely know what that guy isup doing. That is why you call
a life coach. Thank you somuch. That's great advice. Thanks for
that my pleasure. If you wantto reach Danny Bonaducci Life Coach, you
(22:06):
can email life Coach at kazyoka dotcom.
