Come on, it's going to bea great show. I can feel it
joining me now. Former child staractor Danny Bonaducci. It's not just today's
reality. TV. In the seventiessaw their share of trained reg child stars.
Please welcome back to the show,Danny Vanaducie, Danny Bonaducci, always
a pleasure. Thank you, thankyou, thank you. When it comes
(00:21):
to child actors, no one ismore notorious than Parker's Family star Danny Banaducci.
This is the Danny Banaducci Show. The squeaky wheel really does get the
(00:49):
grease. So on Monday, Iannounced my upcoming retirement right here on this
very radio station, and it's allgood news. I'm feeling great atlander LA's
at the very time in sixty years. I received so many well wishes from
your guys, phone calls, tweets, Instagram, like literally thousands, if
not a bazillion. Then that wasvery nice of you. And then there
(01:11):
was this one guy who tweeted, did iHeart force you out? And someone
else wrote, you mean Danny Bonacucciis still alive. Literally two people out
of everyone were just dicks to me, and that's who I honed in on.
Amy told me take the high roadthat if I wanted to respond to
anyone, pick the many, manypeople who were nice to you. It
was all I could do not torespond to these guys. I could not
stop thinking about those two guys outof a thousand, I wanted to destroy
(01:34):
them. Oh, I had goodcomebacks, but they're not appropriate for radio.
No, I wasn't forced out,And if you must know, I'm
pretty sure that I'm alive. Youhave rad bastards. I finally made it
up a very big star. Youknow how I know because I have my
very own trolls. No, Sarah, what the news is brought to you
by Union Gospel Mission. Well, remember this is Danny's last week on the
(01:57):
air, and we are encouraging youguys to leave messages on our social media.
Tell Alexi send a talk back toCazoka and Danny. We're going to
have a lot of people joining theshow throughout the morning up until Friday.
When is that's your last show?Sharing some favorite Danny Bonducci memories? Good,
there are great Danny Bonaducci memories.Of course I don't have one,
but I'm sure they're great. Well, the holidays are just a few short
(02:20):
weeks away and experts say expect anotherbusy holiday travel season. I'm in TRIPAA
expects more than one hundred and fifteenmillion Americans to travel fifty miles or more
over the holidays. If I'm notmistaken, that's a third of the country.
Well, I mean you got totravel to go see family around Christmas
and New Year, and this isa two point two increase over last year,
(02:44):
but still short of pre pandemic travelnumbers. So they say the easiest
way to avoid heavy traffic is todo your driving on Christmas Day itself.
Oh that's good. That's a goodtip. Except then, how do you
know, like how to Santa findyou if you're traveling to someone else house.
How's he going to get the presenceto you? Gee, Sarah,
he's Santa Claus. He drives aroundin a sleigh by flying deers. You
(03:07):
don't think you can deliver a present. That's a good point, Danny,
thank you. While it hub hasanalyzed one hundred and eighty US cities to
determine which is the most fun,and you can probably guess in America what
city is the most fun Vegas?Vegas is correct, Danny. You say,
I don't love it there? Tobe honest. Yeah, how come
(03:28):
he's really bad? Stuff happens thatI would like to be part of usually,
so I think I should just stayout of bagas and I don't yamble.
Well. At number two for afun city, Orlando, Florida,
Yep, that makes perfect sense. They say it has inexpensive hotel rooms,
food is pretty cheap, and ohyeah they keep Disney there. Yeah they
(03:49):
do. Also topping the list ofthe cities that are the most fun,
Miami, Atlanta, San Francisco.I wouldn't have picked San Francis and they're
having such a homeless and you know, our streets are not great, but
man, that's bad. Yeah,I mean, Miami makes total sense to
me. But I've been to SanFrancisco and like, it's fine. I
don't really associate San Francisco with fun. No me either. That they do
(04:12):
have a great ballpark. They do, they do, you can step right
to it. Elections have been alittle wacky over the past twenty years,
and not just here in America.Over in Ghana, they elect a new
president in about a year and thecandidate is wearing a mask. What do
you mean, Well, because itwas like you didn't want to get sick,
(04:32):
like a luchador mask. Oh,I'd vote for a Luca Dor.
Like, we don't know who heis. How do you vote for do
you write down Lucador? Well, they're going to say his name eventually,
whether it's his real name or not. But like, imagine, we don't
know who's Like there's a Republican andthere's an Independent, and there's a Democrat,
(04:53):
and they're all wearing luchador masks.Wow, that is crazy, you
know. Muhammad Ali he said thatwhen somebody asked them, what's is that?
He said, well, my motheris from Ghana and my father.
Wait, I don't know how thisjoke goes. The pudsline is he's a
Gonerrhea, but I don't remember howit goes. Oh, man, I
(05:13):
don't know that one. I wouldhelp you out. All I need is
the other guntry. He's from GhanaAnd and now I Eritrea and Henarea and
yeah, all right, we alllove cup noodle and ramen, right,
yeah, a cup of noodles yesterday. Oh it's so good. Well,
the people who make it, nissand Foods have a new hot and spicy
(05:34):
ramen with chili flakes infused in thenoodles right on. It's called hot and
spicy, firewalk packets, square ramen, torched kaaki chicken, and screaming Juan
beef. Well, you know what, I may not have two hundred million
dollars on me, but I haveenough money for that exactly. And the
other good thing is, first ofall, it's affordable. Second of all
(05:56):
sounds delicious. Third thing is theywill be donating a portion of the seeds
to Feeding America. Oh that's sweetof it, thunder deliver a portion?
How much your abortion? Well,I mean it's gonna cost what two bucks
or something? Yeah? Yeah, yea, I give some money. It's
time for today's things or not?Right In Florida Story of Today, yay,
a Florida woman was taken to thehospital after putting a gun at another
(06:16):
driver following a fight over a parkingspace in Walmart. What kind of loser
would raise a gun or anything elseover a parking spot. Yeah, I
mean, if you're Danny Banadoucci, all you do is let them take the
spot and then you let the airout of their tires. Okay, that
was a bad day. On topof that, you was a girl,
Oh Florida. Oh, Florida. You know, as we do the show
(06:39):
and we walk down, Danny Bonacuccinine, I do kind of come off
as a maniac. El fly there. News is brought to you by Union

at live broadcast and different promotional events. We want to know what was your
favorite. Danny. We've had alot of events where we've hung out with
listeners. What is a standout foryou? You're right, we have done
a bunch of those things. ButI'm going to say my birthday party with
you guys out there in radio Landat Henry's before the Tom Petty concert at
Safegofield that was so much fun.I can't believe Tom Petty played your birthday
(12:33):

Rose. Yes, I would sayone of my favorite memories of meeting all

going to say that. Why doyou hate me? No? You you
know, you have said you've gota lot of different plates and stuff in
(12:54):
your body, and bowling was difficultfor you. But you did a great
job, and it was really niceto meet all of our listeners, especially
since a week later COVID shut theentire world down. Yeah, you know,
it was a bummer and I bowledin front of some people out there,
and that was just so bad.I think again, A high score
forty seven. Oh no, know, what was your favorite memory of meeting
(13:15):
Danny Bandaducci in person? It's oneof two point five kzy Okay, the
classic rock station with the Danny Badaduciinsera Question of the Day. Weird Al
The Al Yankovic Story is now availableto watch and own. This movie was
nominated for eight Primetime Emmy Awards andis beloved by fans worldwide. As you
can guess from the title, thisfilm is about the life and career of
one of our most unique and esteemedmusicians. It's Weird Al Yankovic and he's
(13:37):
joining the show right now, Ladiesand gentlemen, Weird Al. Hey,
how you doing. We're doing great? Man? How are you? I'm
doing well. It's a little earlierin Los Angeles right now, but I
woke up to for you. Well, thank you very much for doing that.
We really appreciate it. Biopics andthe like are all the rage these
days, but I don't think anyoneexpected one on Weird Al that was starring
(13:58):
Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe obviously a verygifted actor. You're a gifted entertainer.
But how on earth did this projectcome together? You know? The movie
started out as a Funnier Dive video. Eric Appelle, who directed the feature,
also directed this video for funni ErDie back in twenty ten, and
back then we had Aaron Paul playingMe and Olivia Wilde playing Madonna. The
(14:20):
cast was a little bit different, and that was it was a viral video
at the time, and I usedto play it in my live shows.
You know, I do a bunchof costume changes, so we'd had that
video up on the big screen duringthe costume change and all the fans would
be saying, oh, this isgreat, when's the movie coming out.
We don't say no, it's it'sjust a gag, It's just a bit.
(14:41):
But they For nine years, peoplewere clamoring for a Weird Out biopic,
and finally I said to Eric,we should just make this. Let's
make a movie, and so wedid. I mean, it's amazing.
But for people who haven't seen ityet, it is now streaming, it's
now available for purchase. But howclose he does this film follow your actual
life? Like? Is this reallytrue like other biopics are? Is there
(15:05):
some creative and comedic license. Well, I think the movie has been out
long enough that I can kind ofpull back the drapes and say it's not
entirely true. We take a fewliberties here and there. I didn't actually
assassinate Pablo Escobar. Sorry spoiler. So there are a few nuggets of truth
sprinkle throughout, but it's basically aparody of Hollywood biopics. Yes, it
(15:28):
tells a little bit of my lifestory, but then it kind of goes
off the rails a bit. Okay, Now, on Jeopardy, I recently
learned from one of our Washington Statetreasures, Ken Jennings, that the famed
painter and TV star Bob Ross permedhis hair. And so the afro and
those curls that Bob Ross had whenhe was painting not something he was born
with. And this made me thinkof you, weird. Al Please tell
(15:52):
me that your curls are all natural. They are in fact, you know,
that's kind of a pet peeve ofmine that people that don't like let
me say that I've got a badfirm, and I want to just stress
it's bad natural hair. Thank youvery much. Okay, good, I
feel much better. I felt Ifelt pretty hurt that Bob Ross his hair
was not real. But now weknow, you've kind of ruined my whole
(16:15):
day. Actually, I'm sorry. This movie starts another Washington Treasure, and
that would be Rain Wilson. Weall know from the office, but he's
also done some dramatic acting. Haveyou ever thought about changing things up and
doing any dramatic acting? I don'tthink, you know, I don't really
have any desire to be a dramaticactor. You know, I'd love to
do more TV and film work, you know, doing something funny. I
(16:36):
think I could probably do that.In fact, next year, I'm taking
off touring because I've got various TVand film projects in various stages of development.
I can't really talk about it becauseyou know, as things go on
Hollywood, you know, ninety eightpercent of them don't actually happen. But
I'm trying. I'm giving it ashot, and you know, I'll be
(16:56):
back on the road back recording atsome point, but I'm going to a
few other things in the meantime. All Right, Well, how about a
non parody song, like maybe aduet with Taylor Swift or Nickelback. You
know, if Taylor Swift called meon the phone, I'd have to serious
to consider that. All right, huh weird? Al The Al Yankovic Story
is now available to watch and own, and there are some special features on
(17:17):
the home edition of your movie. Can you tell us about that? Yeah,
it's shocked full of special features. We have a director's commentary with myself
and the director Er Kappel. Welove the whole idea of commentaries on DVDs,
and we thought, I think that'skind of a lost art, so
we were excited about doing that. There's a twenty five minute deleted scenes,
an alternate scenes section. There's interviewsand trailers and behind the scenes and there's
(17:41):
a lot of stuff. And it'sa beautiful tran It's like a brand new
four K transfer with at most DOLEBUsounds, so it's never sounded to look
better, I know, I'm takingit up, but I'm very excited about
this package. It's a really wonderfullittle thing that Shot Factory put together awesome.
As you may have heard, Iannounced on Monday my retirement from radio.
So now I have a lot moretime. Maybe we can do some
(18:03):
of those TV comedies together, orif you get that Taylor Swift going,
I know Danny would be in onthat. Yeah, I think Danny and
I should hang out because you know, he's been so busy for so long,
he just never had time for me. So I think we can finally
go out and maybe get a rootbeer float or something and just talk about
old times. Absolutely, I loveroot beer floats. Weird the Al Yankovic
Story is now available to watch andown. Weird. Al thank you so
(18:26):
much for joining us on one oftwo point five kz okay, the classic
rock station, My pleasure. Thankyou,
