I know, I mean, did you just see Lindsay's photo
and this damn she looks so good. She was at
Kappa Alpha Theta at University of Florida. Really good school too.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I have I'm looking in the notes. Is top tier.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I can't stand with the top tier like I can't
with the top tier.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I saw the Amazon holiday party though the other night.
She looks insane, gorgeous woman, gorgeous. I was like, you
look like this after a baby. I was like, this
is insane.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, absolutely so.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Wait so also wrapping Summerhouse, Kyle Cook was how do
you say this?

Speaker 2 (01:40):

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Maybe maybe he learned his DJ skills in his frat light.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, I could see it. But does he seem like
definitely like a bro? No, for sure? Yeah, Amanda. For me,
he's Amanda. Also, I can that.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
She was at Delta Gamma the University of Connecticut.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Which I can also see, so could I The people say,

other My husband.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
It is weird that he knows.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
It's not.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
That Amanda's Jersey's helpful.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Anyway, Who else, guys, Let's go to the houseives Heather
du Bro. She was Sigma Delta tow It's Syracuse.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Not surprise me.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Jackie Goldschneider Delta Gamma Boston University.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Also doesn't surprise Pedra Parks.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Alpha Kappa Alpha at Howard University.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
We've got Robin Dixon Delta Sigma Theta at the University
of Maryland.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yes, Sutton was also a Kappa Kapa gamma.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Of course she was. You picture you, not Sutton.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I pictured the scenes on your cast.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I feel like it's if it's sudden.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
It's in the South and it's a big white sorority
house with the pillars, and she is standing out.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
There singing and like with her green dress.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I know you just took me into a movie.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I'm like, yeah, that's her away from Miami too. That's right,
that she's Miami adrian Is there any Audrina Adriana right?
She yes, she's suppells it differently than my sister.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Isn't weird that there's this many housewives there are in sororities?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Very weird? Like my mom, My mom didn't even know
what a sorority was. No, genuinely, like when I was
at school and she was like, Okay, so we have
to pay this for what.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
You're doing. Exactly what are we paying this for?

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Actually, I'm not surprised that there are so many bravo
lebs in sororities because we are all the very dysfunctional.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Sorority alority ourselves. Yeah, so go to my mad dates
way back.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
I'm into that.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Whoever wasn't now now they have.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yes, all right, Alexis, we ask some questions for you.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Wait, okay, okay, so tell us what it was like
being in a sorority and do you still keep in
touch with your sorority sisters?

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Okay, that's really weird to say, but no, I don't
keep in touch with a lot of my sorority sisters.
I have a group of thirteen high school girls that
we keep in touch with. But I also the funniest
part about my Mazoo and eighty Pi experience is Brad

(04:47):
Pitt was a Sigma Kai and all of those sware
to god, I have the videos, probably not the videos,
but the photos all of us eighty pies when the
Sigma Kais would have a party.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Guess what we would.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Do give Brad Pitt.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
We go walk down the hall. He's like sixty two
and I was sixty one, so my husband's age. But
we would walk down the hall and be like, take
a picture with Brad Pitt.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
On the hallway?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Was he Brad Pitt?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Brad Pitt, he was already his his fame was coming
pretty fast.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
And just how hot he was.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
He was just hot, and he lived it and he
was just a normal college kid or tried to be well.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
He was gone. But when I got there, was in diapers.
I was fourteen.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
He was on the wall.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Yeah, he's just a picture on the down and you're like.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
You're like, look at all the hot guys, and everybody
will like pose and take me like literally this.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Is for them.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
No, I fully thought that you were like in school
with Brad Pitt, I was.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
In diapers when he was born. I wasn't even a thought.
I was fourteen or thirteen, when he's thirteen years older
than me. He was thirteen when I would be not
even a thought. We know young, Yeah, you know that's
not true. I'm the same age as you. No, girlfriend,
and I am way older than you.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
And thank you for that. Okay, we're a great posing
with Brad Pitt's.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
That's another sorty tradition that is particular to your sorority
at MISSOO.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
I you know what, I don't even remember the chant?
Do you guys have the chant? Can you guys tell
me yours?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
I don't remember it, and I think it's because I'm old.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
You're young, Gia, you don't remember your chant or you're
like the thing.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
You wish do you wish you were Za?

Speaker 4 (06:25):
That's ah, that was mine.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
That's how you got it.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
That's how you know she's younger than Yeah, forty eight, bitch,
I'm fifty seven.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Just stop it. You're like a baby. Holy heck, you look.
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
I thought you were the same. And I'm not brown
nosing because I don't brown nose.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Did eighty I have a house on campus?

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Oh fun?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Did you like it? It's good?

Speaker 5 (06:50):
I did not, did you guys? I could not take
the I could not do it. I actually I did
for six months. I could not do it after six months.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
The only reason why I didn't is because sophomore year
we had COVID, so when I was supposed to live
in my sorority, house school was shut down.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
That robbed your entire experience.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
No, it did fully well because I was sent home
April of my freshman year and we didn't go back
to school until our junior year.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
So I was like, I mean it wasn't I had
a good freshman year.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
But I mean, that's why.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I think I had a good freshman year. In junior year,
but that's why I think it was like college was
like eh for me. I had fun, but I was like,
I probably should have won somewhere.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
My kids aren't How old are your kids?

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Because my kids are kind of on the same boat
as you, as like, the college experience isn't what I'm like.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
You have to go to college.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
You have to.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
It's the best time of your life. It's where you
like have your wings and fly. But at the same time,
you're still a little protected because you're in the dorms
or in the sorority or fraternity house.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
But so, what about your kids.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
My daughter is actually only a year younger and Gia,
and they're friendly. So and I have a So she's
twenty three and her son is twenty five, and they
were both in Rachel's in a sorority at Delaware. Zachett
Maryland was in a pratt So.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Did she have the same experience as Gia then or
she a little better.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Hit her freshman year so that was she missed half
of it. And then when they moved in, it was
a very strange thing. Everyone had to have their own
room and it just wasn't the same. They had to
go how to do zoom rush and like they couldn't.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
So, yeah, you don't get the feeling. It's not the
same feel.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Okay, Well, this is about you, Alexis says not, yes,
it is tell us this were you a partier?

Speaker 4 (08:37):
I did you know?

Speaker 1 (08:37):
I feel like you were a wild girl. I'm getting
the vibe that you had you had a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
I had a lot of fun.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
But here's it's kind of both because I'm a Christian
wild girl.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Okay, but it's like I did.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
But I also I made like a four point two.
I was like serious about school and I had to
get it done.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
And I have a little bit.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Of ad d.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
I know that's one can think that's wrong, but I yeah,
So I was all over the map, but I definitely
had our nights out and when my best friend Mandy
and I would walk into the clubs like field House
in Missoo and be like they'd put on girls just
want to have fun for us when we'd walk in fun.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yeah we had fun. Okay, good and I love that.
Do you date you wanted a frat?

Speaker 5 (09:25):
I dated the quarterback and the point guard. So I
dated a basketball point guard in the quarterback on.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
The football team.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
So they're not they're not so frat boys.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I did date you dated the athletes, though, I feel
like that's even better date a frat guy.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
I did.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
I'm married to John, who is a volleyball, basketball, and
MMA fighter kind of guy.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
So yeah, I date.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
I don't know why it's athletic people. Okay, but look
at look at both of you. Well, okay, what sport
did you play? Because you're athletic as heck?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Thanks, I did a bunch of stuff like growing up,
like dan gymnastics, cheerleading, but I was mainly a cheerleader.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Okay, what about you?

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Nothing? Never? Not interested?

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Do you sit down and just drink coffee and look
like this?

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Are you crazy? I do enjoy moving. I'm not even
I'd rather be in bient.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
I don't like you.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I'm not I'm not an exerciser. I hate sports.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
I thought you were cool at first. I know I'm
mad now that you look like this and you don't
do anything.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
I'm like, okay, anyway, all right, so you're on a housewives.
How do you think being in a sorority and being
on Housewives compare?

Speaker 4 (10:35):
You know, it's funny.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
I think you guys will all agree with this because
you and you are both like in that sorty. I
feel like when I was on how when I first
got on Housewives, I was the eleventh or twelfth housewives
of all of all yeah, there's now four hundred.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
No I remember I watched soho well, please please forgive
me for crazy.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
It was the best, Okay, great, Okay.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
So anyway, I think that it's kind of the same
when you're in it. You're in it, and it's like
that's why I you know what, girls, I'm gonna be
wrong with you right now. I don't like being here
right now knowing that there's certain you know, Bravo girls
from my cast that I like have to worry about,

(11:20):
like put my head down because it's like I just
feel like, can't we all just say hi and be
adults and say hi and move on. We're all in
a career. We don't have to love each other. We
don't have to be best friends. We have I'm not
calling certain people for coffee, but can we just all
like go That's but I do because in a sorority.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Guess what.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
You may not like Molly on floor three, but you
you get along with her because I mean, in Missouri,
there's there's you know that we have basements and there's
three floors and things.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
But at the end of the day, you have to
get along with the people in your stateery at.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Least cordial when you're eighteen, nineteen, twenty twenty one. Maybe
now at this point, we probably don't have as good
of an excuse, right we're going to be still high
one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I mean, I feel like that.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Girls with age, though, I feel like there's a lot
of like I mean, at least in my situation right now,
there's a lot of evolving in my household so and
moving forward and taking steps. But I feel like that
comes with age, and like you have to kind of
just forgive and forget and move on. And you could
say hi, like I said hi to somebody today in
the airport that I do think I was going.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
To say hi to the juice the tea. Oh I don't,
I don't know you. Well, I got my and uncle.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
We're we're making we're going on good pat like we're
in a good place right now.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
She said, Hi today, I'm glad. I'm really glad.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yeah, I saw them recently.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Is it the first high in a while?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
I saw them recently? But yeah, no, now we're now,
we're good. We're good and this, yeah it feels good.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Gia will tell you that I've been like a little
obsessed with her for very many years because she is
the most mature. Look I think because you've been through it,
but I mean most mature and well spoken and smart
and beautiful.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
But anyway, move again.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
She grew up up on TV.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
What I'm saying, you know, house like people on your cast,
You guys should be able to say hello, yes and
move on.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
That's what I want because we're all in this world,
weird world together.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
You should just want like piece of respect. I feel
like that's like my motto.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
All right, let's play a game. Okay, all right, so
rapid fire.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
We're going to just pick housewives that we think are
suited to the description okay, or the title who would
you guys pay up for Social Chair?

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Housewives Universe.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
That this means all casts everyone okay, so partiers right,
like someone that a party?

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Yeah Sutton really okay, she puts parties together.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
I think when I think social chair, like when I
was in my sorty, I was the one that well
maybe we say you because because I think social chair
is not just the party planner, but it's also the
calendar keeper.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
You keep the entire calendar for everything.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
I think it's someone that has to be a little
OCD and then also knows how to have fun and
doing a little bit about it.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Being so little.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I was like gonna go with like Sony Morgan like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
You're fun. We did we didn't? Does it?

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Ramona's daughter too? Like planned parties?

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Does is it?

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Ramona?

Speaker 2 (14:30):
And she is a bachelor?

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (14:32):
Okay, you know what now I agree with all three
on all three of you throw a party?

Speaker 1 (14:36):
That would be a fun time. Who is the risk chair?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
So they get what does that mean? Get?

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Like you get you kind of like get people like
come from people if they're doing something wrong.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
So they because my son was the risk chair.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Why do I feel like Nani mean, okay, how does
she how does she half our age or less?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
And she knows I'm talking us to be going on
with me and her first years? All right, you is
on standard? So they are the nasty bitches that will
judge us all she's three.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Yeah, first alexis judge us all. I pleaded the fifth?

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Okay, pick one? It's not an Orange County.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
Well, well, if I want to say, if I'm gonna
say what I would say.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Tamra my one of my closest friends.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
I think she's I think she's a definite she's gonna
judge you, but you know she's gonna hold you the fire.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yes, I'm gonna say one, but like, I think it's
a compliment and a part of her personality because I
also think she's awesome. But Lisa vander Palmp like, I feel.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Like she's there negative with her accent.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
But she'll be like, darling, yes that doesn't look good.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
She'll fire you, like how many times did she fire
or Tom Sandibal and then rehire him?

Speaker 3 (15:50):
No? Literally, I mean I have the absolute and I'm sorry,
I don't mean to brown.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
It's obviously Mary Cosby.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
Oh one, stand yes, definitely right, Okay, you might have
taken that one.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Okay, okay, the biggest liability you first, No, no, look
at her.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
If you guys could.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
See this all over, faces are like who gets who
gets drunk?

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Well, Gretchen gets naked waisted on my cost So I
don't you could say.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Who gets drunk on jersey?

Speaker 3 (16:22):
I do?

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Oh, sure you're taking im?

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Okay, maybe both gen Okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I actually really enjoyed drinking with Jenaten.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
No, she's hilarious. She's hilarious, all.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Right, So who is the house mom?

Speaker 5 (16:41):
I would have actually said Teresa for this, I would say,
I would say, look at everything she did and went
through and just like yeah, I would have said that
for the Okay, we can't name her for all? Okay, okay,
you gotta come out as a treasurer.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Who's good with money? On how so? I I don't
know this answer?

Speaker 2 (17:01):
A Lisa Barlow has a lot of it. Yeah she right,
Yeah she is?

Speaker 4 (17:05):
She good with it.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
I mean she's obviously doing something right. Yeah, you don't
live the same time.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
I mean why Meredith Meredith Marx also comes out with
like so many different brands. I feel like she's got
it all together a little bit too agreed.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Okay, I love that I have none, Goji, I'm gonna
who is a recruitment chair?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
So this is the person who like plans basically like.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Brings people in like that, like everyone wants to be
there because they're there, like they write, isn't there?

Speaker 1 (17:33):
I mean on my cast, I would say Brooks Marks
because he's just like the media. He's like the mediator,
like he loves everyone, brings everyone together. He's awesome, He's
so cute, he's my best friend.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
I'm trying to think who is like bringing all of
I mean, it's the person.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
Who dolores absolutely, dolores perfect, perfect, perfect, who isn't involved
but goes to every party.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Let's see Rachel cheat on their frat boyfriend. You take that, Gea,
I ain't answering that. Wait, what's the questions to cheat
on their frat boyfriend?

Speaker 2 (18:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
I'm not that deep into the housewives drama.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
Are there any cheaters? Wait? Are their cheaters? I think
girls take a moment and think are their cheaters?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Well, no self admitted cheaters. I don't think except for me,
I'm most likely to cheat.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
So well, okay, there we go. Okay, God we got
that one.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Okay, in here, hi baby.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
He's like shaking, most likely to sleep with their roommate's boyfriend.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Okay, I'm not touching that one.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Who is guys, who's peacekeeper Doris?

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Yeah? What about what about you? Peacekeepers? Is way better
to keep the piece. I'm good at it.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
What about another franchise? Pick any other franchise, so.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Let's pick how about Miami?

Speaker 4 (19:02):
Pim?

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Who is the peacekeeper on Miami?

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Is about a peace on Miami?

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Why now Maris or not? Really?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
No, no franchise?

Speaker 4 (19:16):
How about well, Orange County for my franchise?

Speaker 2 (19:21):
I would?

Speaker 5 (19:22):
I always tell Heather she's Switzerland. I think Heather's the piece.
Was actually going to say, you wants everything to just
be Kumbaya.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Not a bad trait, just great. That's what she.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Wants, all right? And who is the president?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
That's the last one.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
I'm gonna be biased and say my mom, but you
guys go.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
I would She's a very one.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
We got to think of other franchises, guys, what about
Salt Lake City?

Speaker 1 (19:49):
What about Potomac And what about I mean, Salt Lake
City is killing it right now, they are, but maybe
maybe they haven't been around long enough to.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Be like, to be like Mary Salt Lake City, it
is New York.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Is a hard one because we don't know that cast.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
If you want to go back all the way back,
I just order.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
Interviewed Margaret and I'm telling you I think she could
be a total president.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Agreed, she has got her ducks on a rug. That
woman is yes.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
And by the way, she won't take no for an answer.
If you say that she's not the president, so Beautiflake,
she will insist upon being the president.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
All Right, you guys, thank you so much. This is awesome,
This is so fun.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Thank you for coming on Dirty Rush.

Speaker 4 (20:35):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
