This is a podcast, Come twenty five, Stock at twenty
and they are whizz So yeah, it's too bad, but
what did you expect.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
It's a podcast, Come twenty five.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Whistles twine win, Hello, everybody, welcome, Nice, thank.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
You, a little too much wind in there?
Speaker 3 (01:52):
You whistle man, You're so good at that.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
No, I'm no, that wasn't me.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
It's like that's I was just like a real whistle.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
I'm not a good whistler. It's I've developed that whistle
out of necessity for the dogs. And I think if
you had to whistle for a reason, you'd know how
to whist like for survival.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
They're like, everyone's gonna die if you don't whistle.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Yeah, you'd be whistling like a mofo.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
I'm sam. I want to start with this because I
know at one point I tried to buy your soul.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Oh, I forgot about that. I didn't sell it though, right,
I don't think God and I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Think you really can, Like I don't think that's a
thing where you can buy someone's soul.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Well, but just in case it's not worth the risk,
I'm willing to take care.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
And I think I offered you like one hundred.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Bucks, which is dirt cheap for my soul.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Really one of my favorite bits because I was like, Eddie,
I will give you one hundred dollars. All you have
to do is write down on a piece of paper
that you are giving me your soul.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
And here's the thing that could have been the easiest
hundred dollars real I could have ever gotten, right, because
it's I mean, you're not taking my soul that's in me, dude, Like,
you can't touch that, even if I say I'm giving
it to you can't touch.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
It's not a real thing. So why not you take
the three hundred bucks. But just in case, man, you
turned down the money, Like I was really willing to
buy your soul, What would you do with my soul?
Just hold it.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
That's a lot of responsibility.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
I'll give you two hundred for it right now, we're
going to Vegas. Oh my gosh, that I didn't think
about that cat cap. Gosh. If you write down on
a piece of paper you now own my soul. I
am transferring it to you. I will give you two
hundred dollars in cash.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
And that's like, that's like devil wing down Georgia stuff
right there.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
No no, no, no, no no no no no, no, no
no no.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I'll give you a full of a fiddle of gold.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I'm not betting your soul. That would be fun if
you were betting your soul.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Dude, I can't do it. Like, there's just the part
of me that just says, I can't agree to two
hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Can't do it. I can't. Okay. There's a story from
out of the Central a woman literally sells her soul
for a collection of Laboo boo dolls. Oh my gosh,
and a controversial social experiment a woman signed away her
soul for one thy eighty dollars, which she used to
buy a Labooboo doll collection and a concert ticket.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Oh what's the concert ticket? I like how they throw
that one in there.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
It doesn't John Mayer, what show she went to? Did
you see what? I didn't see what show she went to?
I don't think. I think the whole thing was she
she wanted to buy these labooboos, okay, and so she
needed the money, so she said, I'll sell my soul.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
It sounds easy, man, Like, is anyone else willing to
sell their soul for labubos or two hundred dollars?
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Okay? But and I'm not offering this. But if I
said one thousand dollars, oh gosh, Now, I'm really like
you'd really have to think about that, yes, because then
you're weighing what's probably not probable, and that there's some
sort of soul exchange because of a piece of paper
versus the money.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
And I wonder if I can say yes to you
and then immediately go home and pray to God and
be like God, it was just a joke.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Oh, you signed it, I own it. I know. That's
where it gets scary. I'll give you three hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
By the end of the show, ten thousand dollars, but
you don't want to do it for three hundred No, Man,
I can't do it.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
We're going to Vegas.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
I know, I know, I would love it.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
I need to have a written contract, like full out
in a line printed for you to sign that if
you get down a bunch of money.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
In Vegas, you're like, Okay, I'm ready. I needed three
hundred bucks. Hey, Bobby, this deal still on. I can
still sell my soul.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
I need to come with a fully executed contract.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
You have a briefcase and a lawyer.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
I think I'll do that. I think I'll have a
fully executed contract where if you do want three hundred
bucks in Vegas, all you have to do is sign
the page. Man. Man, Vegas is tricky because I love
they own your soul. They do own your soul, and
then when they suck the soul out of you when
you're there for Saturday football, like, it hits different.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Man, H's different going to that kiosk and making a
bet for Sam Houston State to cover.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yeah. So I would sell it to you with the
idea of you could buy it back. Oh, so you
could take the three hundred. Oh, let's say you won.
It's like a pawn shop for the soul.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
How much would the buyback be if I took three
hundred dollars five hundred? The bank makes two hundred soul banks.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
The soul Bank's got to make a living somehow. You
know those workers, ain't they gotta do some interest? So
I don't know, man, think about that. I just saw
the Labou story and I thought it was fine. Looks
like a Russian artist, by the way, Okay, so we
don't even know the artist. It's probably tattoo. Oh the
things she said, all the things she said, running through
my head, running through my head, remember them, the two lesbians?
Speaker 5 (06:20):
Good song?
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Russian? There were something maybe European. Everything not here is
not here though, it's all the same, right, yea? What was?
Speaker 3 (06:28):
What are Russian bands? Scorpions? Were they Russian?
Speaker 1 (06:31):
No? Idea? German? German? GERMANO? What tattoo is? What they're Russian? Boom?
Good job, dude. All the things you said, the things
you said, run in through my head, run in through
my head. Yeah, are there any other famous Russian bands?
I don't know any of these about the putin three.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Oh, they're they're huge and russ.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Do you guys know Keino, I know the game in
Vegas like old people play. That's like like old.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
People being oh yeah, yeah, no, definitely not that.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Okay, think about it, Eddie, Okay, I'm thinking about Uh,
let me play. We got this question from a listener.
It's a voicemail here, would you mind hitting that? Mic Hey?
It was just calling in me and my buddy.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
We're talking about golf scores for nine holes, and I
was just curious of what everyone on the show shoots
on nine holes on average.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
All right, thanks, I'm gonna let you go first. Forty five. Okay,
that's actually I think you shoot a little better than that,
and I thought you would go lower than that.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Oh oh you're oh we're asking, we're asking what I
would shoot at nine yeah, oh no, nine forty No? Yes,
on average? You don't shoot an eighty Yes I do. No,
you don't on average. I shoot eighty four. That's my average,
So okay, but I guess forty one is my Okay.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
I know you'd lie. I knew you would lie, But
for an average golfer, forty five it's the solid score.
I think that's better than average. If you're if you're
incorporating everybody that goes out on the most terrible You
don't shoot a forty. That's not your your nine, it's
not forty one. We're gonna do this again.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
You're basing it all on my last performance of our tournament,
in which.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Last performance we played, I mean four rounds, four rounds,
and that was pounding you for weeks before that. I've
just broke my arm too, imagine my hand. I think
it's better that you broke your arm. It gives you
less mobility. I think you need less mobility. Henry Rowan Gardner,
I think you're probably about a forty four. Okay, what
did I say? Forty one? There's a big difference. Stroke
(08:28):
that's a six stroke overall different, that is, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:31):
That's the difference between you and Bobby went into losing
that tournament. One stroke, That's what I'm saying. So six
strokes is yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
I think you were probably about a forty four. On nine,
I'm probably about a forty three. Gosh, I hate it.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I just hate those I hate those words coming out
of your mouth, and I know you deserve it. You
won fair and square.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
But gosh, I mean and not only that because I
don't want to have to include this, but I will
since you're going back to the one I beat the
crap out of you three rounds. So if it was
like if my last one, though, gosh came back. Yeah,
but if it were just down by round, I win
seventy five percent of the time. Correct, So will you win?
You want for far and square? Yeah? And my wife
the other day was like, when's Eddie cooking for us?
In a Superman chust?
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Do that?
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Yes, it's my office, she asked. Yeah, because I'm shocked
by that. We were like, what are we going to
have for dinner? She's like, when's Eddie cooking for us?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
I expected the conversation to be like, hey, Eddie's cooking
for us and a Superman count.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
She's like what why? That was the first one, and
then we were like what do we want to do it?
Nobody wanted to cook? Well, I don't cook anyway, and
she was like, I don't want to cook anything. She's like,
when's Eddie cooking for us? Just a random day?
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah, you guys are hungry, so I would say forty
so forty four you're forty four on forty three.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Okay, that's fair, that's fair. And when you said forty five,
I thought, oh, look at you. You're being a little generous.
But you weren't. You were talking about an average golfer.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
So what do you think the average golfer shoots nine average,
right in the middle of the most the bad, bad,
and the very very very.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Good forty eight or forty nine. Wow, I think if
you can break one hundred, that's pretty good.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
That's what they say.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
I've read articles where like, you're pretty good if you
break you can break a ho dude, I've broken a
hundred for the last we've broken one hundred for the last.
But you're pretty good in comparison with everybody. You're not
pretty good in comparison with people to play a lot
like like what do you mean like pros? No, just
people that play a decent to a lot of golf.
Breaking one hundred is not pretty good.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
That's probably the difference, Huh, people that play all the
time versus once in a while or.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
A middle amount of time.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah, so you know, the last time I've played is
probably right after.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
That the last time I played. Yeah, we need to
play again. We have played in month month, and I
think you were just so sad. I was pretty broken
down a little bit. But now I'm ready to get
back at it. All Right, we do have some sports
talk about here. I pulled a thing about the Cowboys.
Do you want to hear it? Sure? We got clowny? Yeah?
What'd you think of that? Isn't he like sixty? Did
they be in clowney? Like I remember him? What's South Carolina? Yep?
(10:51):
Just killing people? Remember when he tore the helmet off
that the dude? Yes, yeah, they're running back at Michigan.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Yeah, okay, go ahead, Eddie, this is kind of cool.
I mean whatever, at this point, we'll take We'll.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Take whatever, you'll take, whatever, take whatever. I mean.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Our our defense is damaged. Our defense is not stopping anything.
So any move in the defensive area, I like it.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
How old is Davian Clowin? That's a good question, you know,
because I feel like he's been playing for as long
as I've been watching.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Well, he was hurt a lot, right.
Speaker 5 (11:22):
I'm going to guess thirty eight.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Well that's old. No, why don't you look it up?
Speaker 5 (11:27):
I'm going to But I'm just okay, I thought he
was like.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
I'm getting there. I thought, it's like I'm gonna guess
then I'm gonna stop talking about it. Oh my god,
he's only thirty two. Okay, so that's younger than me.
That's young, dude. Oh yeah, that's pretty young. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (11:40):
No.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
I wasn't meaning like, want to look it up, idiot.
I was like, you can look it up.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
I gotta find it, like, let's play a numbers game here, guys.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
How do you feel about the Cowboys chances this weekend? Good?
Speaker 3 (11:52):
But I also felt good about the Cowboys chances against
the Giant and they did win.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
They and it was very stressful they did when all
it is you walk out with the w I know, man,
you just want It's so funny. I talk to people
and they're like, man, I love games that are close.
I'm like, I don't.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
When I watch the Cowboys, I want them to win
by forty and I want to at halftime like start
cooking dinner and like just doing other things and just
once in a while look at the TV and be
like ooh, nice throw dak.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
But I didn't get that.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
And the stressful game of Sundays against the Giants is
making me feel like I am nervous about playing the
Bears in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
So this is from ESPN from Todd Archer. The early
surprise for the Dallas Cowboys is four rushing touchdowns. Because
that may not sound impressive and this is him writing this,
but the Cowboys had just six rushing touchdowns last season period.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
We also had a running back that no one even
knew six all of last year, and Javonte Williams has three.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
And the last time that a Dallas running backs had
three touchdowns through two games was Marion Barber in two
thousand and eight. Wow, Miles Sanders has the fourth touchdown? Yeah,
who without him fumbling? Maybe year two to zero correct
either way and no overtime. Yeah, I thought it was
pretty wild that the Cowboys hadn't rush for that many
touchdowns through two games.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
It's funny you say that too, because watching the game
and Brandon you probably feel the same way about this.
But like when you watch the game and we have
a strong running game like Williams, it's very shot. It's jarring,
like whoa, whoa, whoa, we got Wow, he got a
first down?
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Another first down? Like because we're not we're not used
to that. We had Zeke Elliott. We had so Zeke
was strong for a couple of years.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
He was for a couple of years, but the last
year when he used the Cowboys not good. Rico Doubtle.
It was just even Tony Pollard like he was probably
our strongest back that we've had since Williams. But it's
so cool to have a little running game and give
us options. Kevin the Patriots. The early surprise.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
The Patriots are averaging ten point five accepted penalties per game.
New England was called for twelve accepted penalties for seventy
five yards, and it's went over the Dolphins, which came
after getting flagged for nine. They say accepted penalties because
you can get a penalty and they don't accept it. Yeah,
So the Patriots have not reflected the buttoned up team
that one would expect from Mike Rabel. So Alreddie's as positive.
The Patriots is negative because they're being penalized a lot.
(14:09):
What do you think about that?
Speaker 6 (14:10):
Yeah, I mean I saw it on this past Sunday
against the Dolphins. It was just NonStop fall starts. It
was it was sloppy, and I'm surprised by a Mike
Rabel coach team. But I do think it's gonna get
a lot better with him.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
It's also very early. Yes, and your first round draft
pick has been injured. He's playing well. Campbell's playing right,
but he's been hurt.
Speaker 6 (14:30):
Yeah, and he had a much better Game two than
Game one, played really well.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Okay, what's going on with the Belichick statue stuff like that?
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Is that recent?
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Because I saw something on TikTok where like they asked Craft.
Speaker 6 (14:42):
Of New England a couple of weeks ago came out
where Kraft said he would do it, but then Belichick's like,
I don't know if they'll accept me back there.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I would they want to get it right next to
Brady right now, I would think they're not going to
do it just because that relationship is not good. Yeah,
Belichick getting fired and then Belichick going to North Carolina
saying I don't I'm not opening the doors for Patriots.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
I'm not invited there.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
So yeah, that's that's kind of a weird situation that
the greatest coach of all time in the NFL. But
it too shall pass, meaning far of is now welcome
back with the Packers. Uh, all these guys that spend
a lot of time and it gets kind of weird
at the end, it ends up being okay after a
few more years of there being no weirdness because there's
(15:24):
no playing. Like after Farb didn't play for a few years,
he was a packer, get in everybody's mind.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Yeah, yeah, he kind of forget rememory.
Speaker 6 (15:31):
When he came back like a halftime thing on the
field and everyone went crazy, he was like, wow, yeah,
they accept him again.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
That'll happen with Belichick. The problem is Belichick's really old.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
I know, it's like, how much longer does he does
he happen?
Speaker 3 (15:41):
He's not that coaching coaching Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
Well no, yeah, he's pretty old, dude.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I mean he's in his seventies.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, seventy three, okay, and a lot of he's got
some years left.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
We hope he's got some years. She'll keep him young nowhere.
You Yeah, that's weird. I was saying that if let's
just say you had a baby today, don't even say that.
Let's say you had a baby today and it was
a girl, I would still be older than now. It'd
still be the difference would be smaller than Belichick and
his girl. That's crazy. So I would need to wait
(16:18):
a couple more years for a baby to be born
and then date that Baby's crazy for it to be
the same. It's a difference.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
You do that.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
They should do a reality show.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Well they did the Hulu North Carolina doc. That's basically them,
I know. But I want to see him at home.
I want to see like she quit Dancing with the
Stars allegedly, like they're not going to do anything like that.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Imagine like dinner conversation in them too.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
They talk about she's on her phone, she's like flicking
through TikTok, and he's got a war block open World
War one, talking about anything that's funny.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Except hey, what what'd you buy today?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yeah, that's probably about it. So, yeah, that's what's up.
I got a bunch of games here this weekend that
we're going to go through. We'll talk to Brandon Marcelo
coming up in a few minutes. The South Carolina Missouri
game is interesting to me, mostly because they have Missouri
as a nine and a half point favorite, which sounds weird,
but I guess Leonora sellers they're not counting on him
to play. I mean, that would be the only reason
that spread would be so high. M hm, can someone
(17:20):
check on that, because there's no way a South Carolina
team is a ten point underdog to Missouri unless their
best player is not.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Playing and coming off a loss. Do you think that
affectors anything.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Well coming off a loss because sellers got hurt. Yeah,
so it's got to be a sellerless game. But that's
weird to me. Texas Tech in Utah seems like it's
gonna be a fun game. Two teams that are good,
but they're not the best in like their region, so
they don't get talked about as much. Because you're looking
at Tech, you have Texas Oh not on the same
(17:51):
conference Texas Texas A and m Texas Tech is basically
playing third fiddle just even in that region. And the
same thing with Utah. Now not other people on the state,
but over there it's the stories our UCLA's coach gets fired,
it's Oregon like all the West Coast stuff, or is
taken away the Utah's team. What do you see said?
He's questionable game time, but even game time decision if
(18:14):
it's a go, it ain't a full go with full capabilities.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
But yeah, and then they're playing in Utah, so that's
at Utah Tech.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Is that ten am game for them Texas Tech for
Tech Tech?
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Well, yeah, Utah. I mean Utah is usually the one
of the teams I watch at midnight. Yeah, so it's
crazy they're playing early in the morning.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Auburn and Oklahoma will be fine because that's Jackson Arnold
going back to Oklahoma. Auburn should get whooped pretty good.
But I would like to see Jackson Donald play well.
He was a freshman last year, five star went to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma did not have an offensive line. He ended up
transferring to Auburn because they were getting a tier because
they were getting the offensive coordinator from Washington State. Materier
(18:53):
was a quarterback there, so you know, package deal or not.
They all came, but Jackson Arnold was out like they
benched him last year, which was so and I think
they regretted that a few weeks later. Yeah, oh yeah
they did. Yeah. I mean I hope he does well
at Auburn. Okay, let me, you're gonna do a parlay? Yes?
Is that what we're gonna do? Okay, in a while.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
What are you gonna do college?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Yeah, dude, I suck at the NFL. Yeah, I've made
the most money this year on NFL. But I suck
at it. It's been straight Please God, let this happen
to the games are they're also like so weird and close,
even the game, even the Bucks game. We're watching it.
Our buttser pucker could lead the Bucks to win because
of our money. Yeah, and they give up, they give
(19:38):
up a touchdown at the end and baekers to drive
down like it's so close all the time.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
I mean, even the Panthers last week, they start scoring
and making a close game at the end.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
All right, I'm gonna go Oklahoma minus six and a half. Again,
that's at Oklahoma versus Auburn. I'm gonna go Ole Miss
minus ten and a half against two lane, and I'm
going to bet on sellers playing a little bit. I don't.
(20:08):
I have no inside information, but I'm going to take
South Carolina plus nine and a half.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Because as soon as they announce, I mean, that will
change immediately.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
So that's my parlay there. Download the Draft Kings sports
book gap use the code Bobby Sports. That is the
code Bobby Sports. By the way. Also what I would
do and this is not part of my DraftKings read
or a partnership use the ghost leg. It's awesome. I
hit it again last week. Two weeks in. Ahi, I've
used the ghost leg. I've opted in. You have to
opt in and then when you do your pre because
(20:39):
that's to go before the game a three leg NFL parlay.
Make sure on the betting slip that's white. You know
what it pops up. You click that tab that his
ghost like ye to opt in and have a slide,
and then you one of yours doesn't hit. Showtime baby,
it's awesome.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
You still win because how many times do you do
a parlay and you're like green, green, Green, one red if.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
You do the ghost lag at all, because that's emotional.
That's how you know Eddie was emotional. If you went colors,
it wasn't analytical, wasn't data driven based on teams. It
was like red and green. Green makes me feel good,
Red makes me feel bad.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
There was one last week where it was all reds
and I'm like, damn, I could have just done all
opposite days. I had ten thousand dollars, I lost them all.
If is there a twelve game ghost leg, Oh, that's funny.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
Eleven you get eleven ghosts, that'd be a fun experiment
to do once. Just go and bet spreads, like do
a four game parlay and bet opposite everything you really feel.
I mean sometimes that help full costanza.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
This ghost leg is only for NFL two.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
I think it is only for that fil and it
has to be before a game, like you can't hop
in and do any sort of live betting with it.
But that's what I would suggest as far as the
college parlay that I'm betting. But I just want to
mention the ghost leg there again, Brandon Marcelo coming up.
We'll talk college in a second with you guys, though
I do want to do and you guys haven't seen this.
There's a reason for that, both Eddie and Kevin Okay,
(21:59):
little yeah sort of. But I tell you people loved
the game on the rivalries, the rivalry games. They loved
you playing it more than Kevin because Kevin got some right.
I saw which one? Did I see last week? The
Battle in the Woods. I think I may be wrong
on that. I think you like read Little Red Riding.
(22:20):
I saw something and I'm like, that was on our game.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
I think that was your backyard.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
It's the woods.
Speaker 5 (22:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
I have the highest to lowest all time NFL winning
percentages all time. So it's like, who's the most winning team,
who's the most losing team ever? Okay, so I'm gonna
have you guys. We'll start with winning team all time.
Who's the all time winningest team in the NFL? Who
do you think? I have one in my head? I
(22:49):
did too. If you have the same one, that's going
to be confusing. But the count of three, just say
the mascot. Don't say the city. One, two, three, okay,
Eddie said Packers At five seventy three. The Packers tied
with some other teams the all time winningest in the NFL.
Oh one of them. The Steelers are at five thirty eight.
(23:11):
They're in the top five, but they are not number one.
I just went with that, Eddie. They're just old. Okay.
We're going to see you get a point if you
beat the other person. Love it. Steelers are out all
time winning percentage. Think about it. Eddie wants you write
trainsfer down, have a pin put in your and Kevin,
you get to say yours. Okay, because Eddie writes down,
(23:33):
you just say yours? Whoa?
Speaker 7 (23:34):
Whoa?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
I don't cheat, man, What do you mean? No, you're
gonna write it down.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
So oh I gotcha, gotcha? Okay, I'm in.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
All time winning percentage, Kevin, Go Denver Broncos. The Broncos
come in at number eleven.
Speaker 6 (23:50):
Jeez, that's the way off.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Eddie the Colts. The Colts come in to number twenty one.
Day tied it up.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Well, forget my theory on on old teams.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yeah, all right, let's do one more here in the
winning side. Think about it for a second. Because you
only have the number one team as far as number
five as the Steelers, the other teams aren't really in
the mix here, Hedy, let me know when you're in.
I'm in, ok Kevin gotta go with the Patriots. Okay,
(24:24):
the Patriots are on the list. Eddie the Giants. The
Patriots make it at number ten. Come on with a
winning percentage of five point fifty. The Giants at number twelve. Whoa, No,
let's go. Kevin takes the two to one lead. Now
we're gonna do worst of all time. Okay, okay, okay,
(24:45):
oh yeah, I'm ready, the worst all time winning percentage.
I mean, when you get that in, they're ready. I'm in, Kevin,
What do you have?
Speaker 5 (24:53):
I got Detroit Lions.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Eddie the Buccaneers.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
The Detroit Lions come in at number twenty four out
of thirty two with a winning percentage of four to
sixty one. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of thirty two
come in at number thirty two, and he gets a
two top with that percentage of four to twelve. They're
the losingest team ever in NFL.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Is man, I remember when they were I what popsicle colors?
Speaker 5 (25:19):
They are terrible popsicle colors.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Yeah, when they have the buccaneer with a nut with
a knife stream.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
All right, two more of these the worst, worst winning percentage. Hey,
I'm in, I'm ready, Kevin. Arizona Cardinals. The Arizona Cardinals
come in at number twenty seven, so good at four
to twenty three. Eddie.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
New York Jets.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
New York Jets come in a number thirty day four
to thirty six. Eddie hits again. Hey, yay, I know
losers eight all dark cloud. That's my special. It's two
to two? Is that what it is? Eddie? Is three? Now?
Oh three three two.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
I gotta get this one, okay, yeah, we.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Gotta get this one. Go one more m all time
losing percentage.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
Oh man, how can it not be?
Speaker 1 (26:14):
I'm torn between two.
Speaker 6 (26:21):
I'm gonna go with the Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Jaguars at number twenty eight. Jacksonville Jaguars, Eddie.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Not still down there, Kevin, I'm going the Cleveland Browns.
Come on, baby, oddly barely over five hundred oh wow,
all time?
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Wow? Okay, because they're older too. Yeah, so we're tied.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Okay, we'll do what was the other team I was
going with, Eddie.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Okay, we'll do one more round uhll low for the win,
for the win. H m hm hm oh wait, Okay,
I'm in, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:12):
Yeah, I'm in. I'm gonna go the Carolina Panthers.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Carolina Panthers winning percentage of four to fifty two, Eddie.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Okay, so I'm gonna do the Titans, but that probably
also includes the Oilers, right.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
M hm oh, you're looking up and down that list
for a one. Kevin is the winner day.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
Don't call to come back, Eddie twenty eighty three, Baby, Dann, Wow.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
I get Kevin. You know losers more than I do.
I guess.
Speaker 5 (27:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
All right, we're gonna take a break and come back

Now, let's get over to talk with National College Football
reporter for CBS in twenty four seven Sports Brandon Marcelo.
Brandon joins US mostly every week to talk about college
football insights. He has a new number one ranking this week.
And follow him on Instagram at Brandon Marcelo. I think
he is the best. Also read his articles on CBS Sports.
Here is our guy, Brandon Marcelo. Now this just happened.
(30:04):
I just saw this pop up on Twitter. So I
don't know if you've had any time to gauge reaction
to this. Davo Sweeney sent a message to his haters.
This is from on three. Davo said this in a
press conference. If they want me gone, they can send
me on my way. If they're tired of winning, and
they can send me on my way, I won't stop.
I'm fifty five. I'll go somewhere else and win. I
ain't going to the beach. Looks like Clemson's having a
(30:24):
problem here, Brandon. What's going on?
Speaker 8 (30:27):
I like salty Davos Sweeney.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
He's done this several times over the last like three
to four years. You know, listen, it's as simple as this.
I'll just boil it down to this. Clemson's not what
it used to be and it may not ever again
because of this current era of nil in revenue sharing,
but I will say this, they've got the talent this
year to do it, and it's just not clicking. I mean,
they had the most returning experience in the ACC. They
(30:51):
won the ACC title last year. You have a third
year starter coming back at quarterback. It should all be clicking.
But it's not. The offense just isn't clicking. They're missing,
you know, short and intermediate throws. The run game is
just not there. It's you know, listen, they may very
well win the rest of their games. They maybe maybe
they will, but it's Clemson is just not up to
(31:15):
that level anymore where they're gonna probably win a national
championship or even be in the National championship game. And
that's just the reality of it. And Dado's got some truth,
of course in that in what he's saying. I mean,
no one else has done what he's done it at Clemson,
and the problem is is he's probably not gonna be
able to do what he did ten years ago.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
Once again, it reminds me a bit of how we
grew up. And Nolan Richardson was like, yeah, if you
create a monster, you gotta feed it. And so he's
created a monster and now it wants to be fed
the same thing that it that it ate the whole
time while becoming a monster, and it's living up to
the standard that he set, and that's that's going to
be difficult now, right.
Speaker 8 (31:55):
Oh very much.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
So.
Speaker 8 (31:56):
You know, similar issues going on at Oklahoma State.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
I always refer to Dabo Sweeney and Mike Gundhy in
the same breath, like Dabo Sweeney's the Mike Gundhy of
the East Coast and Mike Gundy is the Dabo Sweeney
of the Midwest. They both have reactions like this when
things aren't going right because they've won so much. Dabo
did it, or excuse me, Mike Gundy did it last year.
Mike Gunny did again this preseason. I sat down with
(32:20):
him in July and he said, hey, I understand the
way college football works. If they don't like me, despite
me winning all these games in the past and doing
what I did, I'll just go coach somewhere else, is
what he told me. So Dabo Sweeney's saying the same
exact thing today. You know, listen, they're not going to
fire Dabo Sweeney, but The question is is like, if
this goes south even further and if we see that
there's still like a step close, that there's one missing
(32:42):
piece to all this. That missing piece a lot of
people are going to identify as we've got to be
able to attract more high profile freshmen from the preps
circuit back to campus here. And the reason why maybe
a lot of people are questioning Dabbo right now is
because that's not how they're set up. That's not how
they do things Clemson. You get there, the freshmen are
(33:02):
paid money, but they're not paid anywhere close to what
a sophomore or junior will be. He's very much on
a merit based system that if you want to come here,
this is what.
Speaker 8 (33:10):
You're going to get.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
It's not gonna be as much as what you get
somewhere else, but you have the opportunity to earn more
as you work through the system here. And that goes
along with the system Dabosweeney developed years ago. With recruiting.
They look for a specific type of player. They don't
go out and offer hundreds of scholarships. They offer very
few scholarships because they want a certain type of player.
(33:32):
But the question is is can you do that this
day and age, And I think it's very much up
in the air and he might have to tweak his formula.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Who's the best team in college football.
Speaker 8 (33:42):
Now, I'll say Miami.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
I like the way their defense is played against two
really good offenses in Notre Dame in USF. The offense
has been electric. They've put every big piece they needed
to together there around Carson Beckett, the receiver spots, and
it all starts in the trenches for them. They've been
dominant in the trenches against every single opponent they have faced.
(34:06):
They get another challenge. I know people don't want to
believe this, but Florida will be a challenge this week
for them because Florida is very talented in the trenches
as well. But to me, Miami's got the more impressive
resume and the more impressive performances than anybody else in
college football at this point.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
How do you think Jackson Arnold's doing at Auburn.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
I think he's doing above average. Last year, he was
just okay at Oklahoma. I think everybody wants to say
it was a disaster at Oklahoma. It was a disaster
because of the outcome and also the decision to bench him,
But the issue wasn't necessarily him. The issue was the
pieces around him, or the lack of pieces, because they
had a lot of injuries along the offensive line last season.
(34:49):
No one really was successful at quarterback there for them,
including Mike Cowkins when they brought him off of the bench.
But Jackson Arnold's very much been a running quarterback. You
watch the tape for him at Auburn. He's not necessarily
hitting the type of throws you would expect from a
former five star quarterback. But he's a gamer, right. He
will rush for one hundred yards if you need to.
That's what he did against Baylor. That's why they beat Baylor.
(35:11):
I just wonder, though, if they go against the defense,
especially like Oklahoma this week, where if they slow down
your run game, is he going to be able to
beat a team throwing the ball. He hasn't shown that yet,
and that's what I'm waiting to see, whether to determine
whether he's a great quarterback instead of just one that's
a little bit above average.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
It seems like Oklahomas so many games where people are
coming back if it's not you know, there Michigan's coach
or Tennessee's coach or hypol or it's Jackson Arnold going
and that's this week, it's Auburn at Oklahoma. Do you
expect there to be I mean, do you expect that
game to be close at all?
Speaker 8 (35:41):
I think so? But do I know so?
Speaker 4 (35:44):
No, Auburn's got the type of rushing offense and creativity
there to keep this a game. I do wonder about
Auburn's defense being able to contain John Mattier. I saw
John Matier in person a couple of weeks ago against Michigan.
He was phenomenal. I think the one thing John Mattier's
got learned to do is to slide because he just
wanted to win that game so bad. And the coach
(36:06):
has even been Arbuckle, the offensive coordinator told me afterwards,
we're going to have to tell him to kind of
take care of his body because we're gonna need him
throughout the season. We don't just need him for one game.
So how does Auburn's defense try to contain John Mattier.
I'm not sure a lot of defenses are equipped to
handle every weapon that OU's offense has this year. It's
night and day from what it was offensively for them
(36:28):
last year. I do think that OU struggles still a
little bit and run blocking, so that might be an
era area where Auburn tries to attack to try to
make OU as one dimensional as they can.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
What was fun was watching Vanderbilt win again. I like
Shane Biemer in South Carolina. I root for them a lot,
but I like Clark Lee and he's here, and I
made the reference it's like Iron Man and Captain America.
And that movie made me uncomfortable because it was two
good guys and I just could never get in because
and it made me uncomfortable from the beginning. I don't
like seeing two people I like fight each other. But
(37:04):
Vanderbilt won again. Now, Lenora Sellers did go down early.
Do you think, let's say a different timeline, Lenora Seller
stays in the game, does Vanderbilt still win that game?
And how good is Vanderbilt?
Speaker 8 (37:14):
Vanderbilt still wins the game.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
I think Diego Pavier is more dynamic of a quarterback
than Lenora's Sellers. He's got more experience obviously that helps
them on the road. I think South Carolina maybe scores one,
maybe two more touchdowns in that game, and Vanderbilt still
wins by double digits. Vanderbilt is really really good. They
beat the crowd out of Vanderbilt on the road a
couple of weeks ago. And I know Vanderbilt, or excuse me,
(37:37):
Virginia Tech's not very good. Heck, they just fired their
head coach. But they've put something together. There's pretty special.
They're winning in the trenches, which is what it takes
to win and be a team that can maybe be
a double digit win season. I can't wait to see
what Vandy has up their sleeve when they have to
meet Alabama once again, but this time in Tuskells that
(38:00):
I never thought I would say this, but Alabama's got
a revenge game on the schedule against Vanderbilt.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Ohio State's interesting because they are still dominant. But do
you look at Ohio State now and go, maybe, like,
there's a chance they may not be as good as
we thought because that big one over Texas. Maybe Texas
isn't as good as we thought.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
Yeah, and I dropped Ohio State my rankings this week
as a result, because Texas is not as good as
we thought they were going to be. Ohio State very
much did struggle with the adjustments that they had to
try and make against arch Manning in the second half,
especially in the fourth quarter of that game. The offense
wasn't too impressive against Texas's defense. And we'll see over
the next couple weeks when they actually get into the
(38:40):
Big Ten play at Ohio State and.
Speaker 8 (38:42):
Start playing a little bit more of a difficult schedule.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Texas, I think, for this third straight week, tumbled in
my rankings.
Speaker 8 (38:48):
They continue to fall.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
I think there's a legitimate question there about whether arch Manning,
you know, is even worthy of being.
Speaker 8 (38:55):
The starter at Texas.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
The problem is they don't really have a backup there
that they would feel comfortable to put it into the game.
So a bit of a mess at Texas, and as
a result, it does affect Ohio State's resume.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
Let's talk about jobs for a second. Shane Beemer is
not in jeopardy at all of losing the South Carolina job,
but the Virginia Tech job is open. They just fired
their coach because in less than the last hour it's
filled or something. Any chance at all that happens.
Speaker 8 (39:21):
Never say never.
Speaker 4 (39:22):
I doubt it, though I don't think Shane will leave
because I think South Carolina is in a much better
position competitively but also financially for the future.
Speaker 8 (39:32):
I also think that that just the emotion part of
it is.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
Yeah, I'd be great to quote unquote go back home
to where my father coached, But also, do you want
to follow in your father's footsteps and then potentially fail there?
Because anything less than winning an ACC title at this
point and following in your father's footsteps will probably be
deemed a disappointment. Whereas a South Carolina I'm sorry to say,
you may never win an SEC championship there, but if
you're winning nine games, maybe ten games every few years,
(39:58):
you're good as gold. You do that at Virginia Tech,
it's probably not going to be good enough to appease everybody,
So I would be I would bet more on him
staying at South Carolina if Virginia Tech were to make
a legitimate run at him.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
What about UCLA now that Deshaun Foster's out.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
That's a very interesting job because it's it's not a
great job.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
It just isn't.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
You're in the Big ten, yes, but you're also on
the West Coast. You're at a competitive disadvantage with all
the travel. Your finances are nowhere near what they need.
To be to be competitive in football. Yes you play
in the Rose Bowl, but it's not your on campus stadium.
Of course, the administration there is very much one that
there's a lot of questions surrounding athletics director Martin Jermond.
(40:40):
I think, along with the administration there mishandled the situation.
A few years back with Chip Kelly. A lot of
people thought they were gonna fire chip Kelly, and then
in the end, chip Kelly just says, deuces, I'm out.
I'm gonna go be the OC at Ohio State. And
then they bump up to Shawn Foster, who, yes, a legend,
a legacy player, but obviously was underqualified and not paired
(41:00):
to be a head coach at his alma mater a UCLA,
and it's all blown up. The good news is the
buyout wasn't big. They can go and try and swing
for a bigger coach. My feeling is from talking to folks,
is that they'll go after someone with some head coaching experience,
and there's several out west that are very good, that
are a group of six type coaches that I think
would be willing to take that job. So there's not
(41:21):
really a shortage on candidates. I just don't think you're
going to see them be able to drag a big
name coach that maybe some fans will want, because you know,
the fan support and the financial support's just not there.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
One other job, the job is not open. It's napier
at Florida. Let's say it doesn't last in Florida, which
a couple more losses. Maybe that's the case, And I've
seen a lot of people say Lane Kiffin will not
take the job now where they thought he would for
a long time. If you were like ranking the possibilities,
who do you think up first of that Florida job
if it opens.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
If the athletic director, Scott Strickland's involved, I don't think
he would go after Lane Kiffin. If he is the
one leading the search, I don't believe he would go
after him.
Speaker 8 (41:59):
If other people are.
Speaker 4 (42:00):
Making the calling the shots there, I think they would
because I think there's a legitimate push there amongst some
of the.
Speaker 8 (42:05):
Boosters they would want Lane kiffen. You know one name.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
Other name that comes to mind is Jetfish at Washington.
That was a job that I think he would jump
at no matter where he was. I wonder how he
feels today about it. You know, that was more or
less kind of the feeling I was getting from talking
to folks around him last fall. But there wouldn't be
a short Dr Cans. I'm sure you would hear John
Gruden's name come up, because he's already there in Florida.
(42:33):
He you know, I think a lot of people up
there would like to see that. I just don't think
John Gruden's going to get a quote unquote big job
right out the gate. Do you want a coach who
has a lot of offensive firepower, because, let's face it,
the last few coaches that's always kind of what they've
(42:53):
gone after since, like the terrible Will Muschamp stuff.
Speaker 8 (42:59):
But you know, it's very hard.
Speaker 4 (43:00):
It's an interesting situation there because I think it's very
hard to like sell a defensive minded coach to be
the head coach there. But there are plenty of really
great defensive coaches that would be great head coaches in
the SEC. But that's the job that win, and if
it opens, which I'm I'm pretty sure it will open,
that'll be the marquee job on the board, and probably
(43:23):
will be when we come into December because we're gonna
see probably a record breaking coaching carousel cycle here, Bobby.
Among Power Conference teams, there's gonna be a lot of openings,
and you know, the SEC didn't have any openings last
year at all. It's only like the second or third
time this century that's happened. And you might see as
many as half a dozen coaches get canned in the
(43:44):
SEC this year.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
I think there's probably gonna be an Arkansas opening.
Speaker 8 (43:48):
It would be trending that way.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Yes, it's Notre Dame game is Notre Dame game is
much more winnable now, which makes it even harder if
they don't win it. So you're I agree with you, fully,
it is more winnable that they're owing too. But if
they don't, if we don't, we I know, everybody relax.
I feel like I'm on the team, give me a break.
But if we don't win that, that's even worse. If
(44:12):
we lose to Memphis, it's over.
Speaker 8 (44:15):
Yeah, you got to win that game.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
Yeah, absolutely, I will say that. I mean you've been
watching them. Obviously, that offense can stack up against anybody.
I think, Yeah, Barbartrulla is awesome, he's got it rolling.
It's just they went into this season knowing that the
linebacker situation and defensive line was not going to be
great this year, and that, of course is going to
(44:38):
affect everything even behind you with the pass defense. And
there's just really no way to fix that unless you
go get players somehow out of free agency, which is
not possible in college football in the middle of the season.
So they are what they are now, this is what
you're going to see the rest of you. They're just
going to have to get into shooting contests and outscore everybody.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Are you having any palot cleansing day where you're not
watching any football at all? Like, what does your wife
want to do? What are you watching now that's not football?
Speaker 4 (45:05):
I'll watch, Like, for example, Tuesday nights, I'll watch Alien
Earth at night I'll watch that, and then on Thursday nights,
I'll watch Peacemaker.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Oh it's awesome, right kind of, it's so good.
Speaker 8 (45:17):
It's my favorite show.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Yeah, it's so good. John Seen is really good.
Speaker 8 (45:21):
Scene is a great actor in it. He's perfect for
that role.
Speaker 4 (45:24):
And I just love I mean, James Gunn is a director,
and how quirky he is in the writing, and everything's
funny and everything's just got it's kind of light I mean,
it's very dark show at times, but it's still lighthearted.
It's very hard to strike that balance. He does a
great job with it.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
When I watch that show. And this season, there's a
part of the storyline is there's a like a different reality.
There's like an alternate universe. And when Sina is putting
on those shirts of him in the other universe, I'm like,
these douchebaggy shirts, you know that are all glow. But
his arms are so big and a long sleeved shirt
they look like cartoon arms. And secondly, I'm like, do
they have to special make those kind of shirts because
(46:00):
he is so large? Oh?
Speaker 8 (46:03):
I bet they do. Oh absolutely.
Speaker 4 (46:05):
I mean I don't know how he fits into anything,
but because those arms, they're the side a little legit
like the size of tree trucks, like I mean, and
even his legs, I mean you see his legs, his
thighs or monstrous.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (46:20):
Oh yeah, they're definitely tailoring his close for him every day.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
Are you watching Task at all on HBO?
Speaker 4 (46:25):
Max?
Speaker 8 (46:26):
No, I never even heard of that.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
It's only two episodes in. It's Mark Ruffalo. He's an FBI.
Speaker 8 (46:31):
Agent and oh I've seen the previews it's awesome. It's yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
The episodes are like an hour fifteen. It is one
of the best new shows that I've seen in a
couple of years. And we're big on My wife and
I are big on finding one show that we are very
deliberated by because at times my schedule can be a
bit odd at finding one show to let that be
our folk rum to where we get together and watch
it and you know, just spend make sure to spend
time together. This show is so good, Like you guys
(46:56):
should check it out. If you're under that, yeah.
Speaker 8 (46:58):
I'll have I'll check that out. I love Mark Ruffalo,
He's great and everything pretty much.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
What are you doing this weekend? You going anywhere.
Speaker 4 (47:04):
Auburn or I'm going on two games Tulsa Oklahoma State
because if Oklahoma State loses that we could be in
some interesting territory. That's Friday night and then Saturday nine
would drive down the road to Auburn ou in Norman.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
The only thing that makes me think that Auburn has
a shot is, oh, you has been giving up a
stinker about once a year, like a real stinker, And
I think that's a good story. Like Jackson Rnold coming
home but he's a sophomore, right, Am I crazy? He
was a freshman last year? Right? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (47:35):
Freshman last year. Yeah, he's still in the fire.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
So it's like for a five star kid, like he's
not done, like he's just started. It's, you know, the
expectation to be a five star and go and start
at one of these not just P four program, but
a massive four program with a ton of pressure. Like
it's almost undoable to meet the expectations as a five
star freshman. Am I wrong?
Speaker 4 (47:57):
No, You're not wrong, especially because o U's line last
year was bad, mostly because of all the injuries they
had and no quarterback was successful there last season. They
kept rotating guys to see they could figure something out.
You know, Brent Vinables even said so to me a
week ago when I was asking about Jackson Arnold. He says,
it's not all on the quarterback, that's the other guys
around him. And they had a lot of injuries last season.
(48:19):
That's why they went so hard in the portal. This year,
they got a lot of really great players, including John Mattier,
and that can change things. And much like Auburn, I
think they changed things quite a bit by getting a
guy like Eric Singleton, who was the best receiver I
thought in the portal from Georgia Tech. And you get
Jackson Arnold, who's a kept more of a calming presence
there but also has higher upside. But the question is
(48:41):
is he going to continue to develop in that offense.
I think he will because the offensive line at Auburn's
pretty darn good. But I think this will be a
competitive game. I think it could be similar to the Michigan.
Speaker 8 (48:53):
Game for Auburn, like for OU.
Speaker 4 (48:56):
I think OU can maybe end up winning this by ten,
fourteen points, but Auburn will probably always be within striking
distance and have the potential to get back into it.
Speaker 1 (49:05):

haven't seen it. I'm guess seeing it's ten and a half, Kevin,
do you know it? I do, it's twelve and a half.
Speaker 3 (51:01):
Twelve and a half.
Speaker 1 (51:02):
It's such an easy bills pick that it makes me
not want to pick the bills man. But yep, like it.
It just screams free money, so you know it's not.
But then since I know it's not, does that mean
it is? Oh?
Speaker 3 (51:14):
No, No, Yeah, we're gonna go to Vegas. You're gonna
bet any these games a bagas when?
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Do you know?
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Not NFL? I won't bet a NFL. You know I'm
gonna gause you can't cash them in? Yes, Separate Thursday night.

unless you want to place that bet for me, I
could if.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
You want, okay, for three hundred bucks, you're into your
soul bet.
Speaker 3 (51:33):
Oh my god, that's my soul on the bills.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
But if the bet wins, then you can buy it back.
So you keep your soul and you have one hundred bucks. No,
I'll just I'll just vendo you money. Uh yeah, possibly. Oh,
I have a contract for the soul here. I'm want
to keep with me.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Who drew that up?
Speaker 1 (51:51):
Mike? Did dang? Mike?
Speaker 3 (51:52):
You a lawyer on the side.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
The agreement is in it on this day, Seller aka Eddie,
the undersigned individual buyer aka Bobby Sale of Soul. Eddie
hereby agrees to sell, transfer, and convey his eternal, non tangible,
metaphysical soul to Bobby in exchange for some of three
hundred dollars. I don't like this, it's just the verbiage, sounds,
use of soul. Bobby made his discretion use Eddie's soul
for bragging rights, comedy segments, or simply as a conversation piece. Okay,
(52:18):
now it doesn't sound so evil, but it says I
may not resell your soul to demons or spirits without
your written consent.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
That's a good little Your lawyer, your soul lawyer did
a good job. Hey, it's pretty good. Oh, I keep
this with me in case you want to sign it.
Steelers of Patriots, that's fun game. Mm hmm, well yeah,
we need Patriots. We need Patriots selfishly. But yeah, that
they're the favorite point a half. Packers of Browns and
Cleveland Packers should run with that one. Colts of Titans, Hey,
(52:46):
how about that? That's a game though the Titans might
actually win because they shouldn't in the NFL. Is so
much like that. But I really think the Colts, like
this is a great game three for them after winning
two games, if they can win another three and third
three and oh, it's hard to not make the Yeah,
I know the playoffs are you know, it's seventeen game season.
You go three and oh still fourteen games, but that's
that is a great start. Who would have thought with
(53:08):
Daniel Jones? Yeah, so let's see what happens. Cults are
three and a half point favorites. You wouldink they'd be
more of a favorite, though, maybe that's the NFL going
not so fast. My friend, Bengals at Vikings, Vikings to
and a half point favorite in the Battle of the Backups, Oh.
Speaker 5 (53:22):
We got yeah, Angles, come.
Speaker 1 (53:24):
Home, Browning, let's go baby battle. And you know the
Vikings cut him, did they? Oh so this is retaliation?
Well you already had the retaliation game.
Speaker 5 (53:31):
Yeah, yes, it's like seven years ago.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (53:34):
Yeah, Well let's do part two.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Rams at Eagles, that's fine, Yes, Eagles three and a
half point favorite.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
Oh for you mean for the nfcast, Yeah, just ncent boys.
Give the Cowboys a chance.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
Jets at Bucks, Bucks are a touchdown favorite. In Tampa,
Raiders at Commanders. I'm sorry, is Justin Fields? No, he's out,
he's out. I think Tyrod Taylor's quarterback. Yeah, who just exists.
He's been playing since the Jadavian on he's sort of
playing that.
Speaker 3 (54:01):
Yeah, but you know he's not one of those backups
though that has been a backup forever and has never
played like he's played.
Speaker 1 (54:06):
He's played a lot.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
Who's that guy that I saw him in Vegas one time?
Chase Chase McDaniel. McDaniel, Chase McDaniel.
Speaker 3 (54:14):
He's a backup right for the Bears, but he's a
backup for a lot of teams.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
Chase Daniels, Chase Daniel Daniels. I'm like, why are you
guys putting a mook on it? I didn't think I
knew who it was. Mel McDaniel, Mike Mike McDaniel, Chase, Chase,
Daniel Meil McDaniel. Is get out the fiddling and you
get out the boat, right, yes? Or Louisiana Saturday night.
He's got her blue jeans all yeah? Yeah, Raiders commanders,
(54:38):
I don't care. Falcons and Panthers, Big Panthers. Guy, Wait,
what's going on with them? Possibly out out? I think
he's out of wa Jane Daniels, Daniels, a lot of Daniels, McDaniels,
Jaden McDaniels too much. I don't know that he's out
for sure. Maybe a game time decision. But last I read,
obviously he was heard. That will affect things. Jack what
(54:58):
up day to day? Him and Leonora Seller is going
to figure it out together. Yeah. Jags at Texans, Texas
at Jags, who cares? Broncos at Chargers? That's fun? Saints
at Seahawks, who cares? Cowboys at Bears?
Speaker 3 (55:11):
Hey, Hey, everyone cares.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
The Bears are a point and a half favorite. No
they're not. No, they're not. The Cowboys are a point
and a half favorite. That cannot be right. The Bears
are minus The Bears are minus one and a half.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
No, I have the Cowboys one and a half unless
it must have it must have shifted.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
Dang, that's disrespectful. Chiefs minus five and a half at
the Giants. The Chiefs have to win this game. Yes
they do. No, I mean they really for their sake, yes,
but for their sake they have to win. Yes, and
Lions and Ravens a good Monday night game. That's a
good one. So that's what's up. Yeah, thanks to Brandon. Ope,
everybody has a great weekend, a lot of football watching.
(55:49):
Arkansas plays Memphis. We should win.
Speaker 3 (55:52):
Where are you going to watch that on hotel room? Yeah,
if you want to hit a bar something.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
I never in my life have we done that. Never once,
I do not. You know, I never want to go
watch you game. Never, never watch an Arkansas game anywhere.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
You know what looks cool is when they reserve a
table at the sports book.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
Yeah that's pretty cool. You want to do that? No,
just for you and me? No, if we lose to Memphis,
disaster and buildings will fall. Well, what do you mean
that you you will fire people if we lose to Memphis,
I'll fire people. What's that spread? I'm gonna guess about seven.
(56:32):
I don't see it here. I know you're pulling it
up when I'm searching that. He's getting the old DraftKings
thumb on and there's a lot of games.
Speaker 5 (56:38):
Just go to your search type and error seven and
a half.
Speaker 1 (56:41):
Yeah, okay, they should cover that. We have a really
good offense. But oh man, uh and I'll keep a
contract with me any case you want to sign.
Speaker 3 (56:47):
It if you're taking it to Vegas with you, Yeah, okay,
let's you want to sign.
Speaker 1 (56:50):
Before we go.
Speaker 5 (56:50):
Nope, just get them drunk and I'll sign it for
three dollars.
Speaker 3 (56:55):
Yeah, I'm not gonna think that's a weird.
Speaker 1 (56:56):
Always like you want another beer? All right, you guys,
