Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's a podcast called twenty five wist fucking ball and
they whistle. So yeah, it's too bad. But what did
you expects?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
A podcast called twenty five Whistles twenty wine We're back
and I'm sad. Yeah, sorry, dude, I know twenty by
whistles blah blah blah were blow the whistle look presented
by DraftKings sports book and official sports betting partner.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Of the NFL.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Download the DraftKings app and use the code Bobby sports
to get in on the action. Uh, it's Arkansas loss
and it sucks. It sucks and it sucks.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Kevin.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yeah, Patriots got whooped and it sucks. It sucks really bad.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Who do they get whooped by?
Speaker 3 (00:47):
I don't know. The Austin Longhorns.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Heyy and the Cowboys are back. Baby, we're back.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
They're bad. You're back. We're back.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
The Patriots are really bad.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
You're almost back. Well, I did have a theory.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
It was close back than I can remember you being
in like ten years. Yeah, man, fifteen years.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
I mean after four weeks sure, yeah yeah, even where
it digs out. Yeah, I think what is Bland? The
guy that got two picks yesterday? I think he is
his replacement. So if he's got two picks and he's
Dig's replacement, I think we're gonna be over.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Well that's not exactly how it works, doesn't know, but
I do like that he had some encouraging numbers and plays.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
I think he got bullied last week, so I think
it's a huge improvement that it.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Helps when our number one wide receiver is who.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Juju, I thought you were gonna say, hurt as Canna
say who? You have a receiver series? We don't have
one right right?
Speaker 5 (01:39):
Right?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Our tight end?
Speaker 1 (01:40):
You have two tight ends?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, and those are number one guys.
Speaker 6 (01:44):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Henry made a one head of catch.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah, it was nice.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
It's not I mean moving to his left one handed falling.
It was awesome. Yeah, that's about the only highlight.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah, we got nothing on offense.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
That's bad.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
I really did feel for Belichick a little bit because
I mean, obviously he's a masterminds and genius at the game,
but he's just got nothing to work with.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
And I feel bad for him.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But that's also on him because he's a GM.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
That's true. Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Lincoln Riley at USC where people are like and they
can't stop anybody, but all they all they have if
they get somebody to run the defense. Well wells also
the head coach who could change the culture and bring
in a defensive coordinator who so yes, like I feel bad, Flake.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
They only the score a bunch of pots. They can't stop. No, no, no, no. Uh.
The Arkansas game was troubling. It just was we lost.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
He's gonna probably be an All American freshman are tied
end He had a dude, a couple of touchdowns one
hundred yards last week and first series falls on his shoulder.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Have they raced his collar road?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah? They were like, could be out six to eight weeks,
but I don't think he comes back at all. That sucks,
which sucks, and he is in our episode of Too
Much Access with Arkansas.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
But that was bad.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
When we picked off a ball halftime, ran it back
for a touchdown immediately, and Kevin's.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Like, we got and we're going to do it. Oh Kevin,
don't do that. I know, don't do that.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
No no, no, no no, I said, great start.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
I can't say that either.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Why oh yeah from sore losers because lunchboxes out sick.
Raymond goes here with us again, Jay, Yeah, you don't
you kind of don't do that.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
The game's over. I've learned that you just don't text
bones at all.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Yeah, in Arkansas, after five minutes from by, I was like, yeah,
I ain't get a text back.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Unless they win. I can get a text back too.
I don't want to hear that some sucks. I want
to hear somethings awesome. I just I don't hear anything
after the game, Oh that sucked, or what a great win.
That's fine, but during it because if it goes wrong
like it did, I'm gonna blame you for jinxing it.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
But he doesn't believe in the jinks. So that's weird too.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I don't believe in the jinks.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
I deserve it.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
So but it was tough.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
And now everybody's calling for our coach's head. Oh come on,
Eddie's got on his glove today.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
It's right South Carolina game cocks. I thought they were
going to make that a better game too.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
I can reach you my bets in a second. But
let me say this about Sam Pittman at Arkansas because
now they're like, get a.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
New coach, get a new coach.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
It's a weird place to be and it's happened to
me the last few times, kind of knowing the coach,
because you kind of know him and you root for him,
and I think Sam Patman is a good coach.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I think it's going to be a difficult year, just
in general.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
We play Ole Miss next and we're all taking eleven
point dog at ole Miss. Oh Miss just beat LSU.
They both scored seven hundred points. It was a crazy,
crazy day. So I think we can win the game,
but I always think that. But I think if he
doesn't win this game and then we have to play Alabama,
it's a five game losing streak.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
It's just it's gonna get pretty toxic. And I hate that.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Did you see the TikTok of a fan looking over
the shoulder of another fan watching him text.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
I thought it was set up, though for could have been.
I thought it was set up where they were like
get yeah the pit. Yeahah, I thought it was set up.
I do not think we need to make a coaching change.
I don't think we need to start over right now.
I like, I still believe, maybe not this year is
gonna be the year that I thought it was. But
just for the record, I still believe, and it was
(05:15):
the backup quarterback too. Would you guys gotten beat by
even more? We got beat by him last year because
he was he beat us last year starting. His dad
is Brad Johnson. He's about the best backup he could
possibly have, you know, jo Brad Johnson, not Chad got
And he was sitting in the stands with Jason Witten.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Yeah wait, wait, gotta bring crap up. Well, is he
was he a left year? Was it a different year
he was a lefty?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Max Johnson, right, yeah, it is, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 7 (05:38):
I thought I read something that they said the backup
is pretty dang good.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
So what did you think about Kj's game? I mean
seven times seven eight times stupid?
Speaker 7 (05:46):
The crazy thing about kJ Jefferson, he was top twenty Heisman.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, before the season. Our offensive line has just been terrible.
So I'm moving off that because I'm done with it.
Real quick though, Cam Little though not real quick. Cam
Little's a b a dude, Yeah, And like really I
text him after the game and I was like, dude,
he had like three fifty yarders.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I know, at least two fifty plus yarders.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
You know.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
My favorite part after the second fifty yarder, his offensive
Lineman was getting in like a scruffle with somebody on
the team and he's like getting in the middle. He's
grabbing him.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
And he's like, come on, man, hey, it's not a
big guy.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
But he's like, come on, let me ask you guys,
and Ray, I'd like your opinions.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yes, I just looked up Kim Little the Kicker. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he was on our episode.
Speaker 7 (06:26):
Too, Ray, So but nobody see you were laughing at I.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Was about to say, they're so inside. He's the Arkansas Kicker.
So here's the deal.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
You had to google it.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Do you think that I should put out the ark
and Saw too much access today?
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Because I can. Luke is hurt.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I could put it out in honor of Luke, who
got hurt from his collar bone. I don't want to
put it out after a loss, but I can. We've
been sitting on it for a while, kind of running
out of games, but it's so tallable. Listen, we're gonna
win again because we're playing it. It may be three
or four weeks though. What do you think should I
put it out that Arkansas went out today?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Are people just gonna be so? Is it gonna be
so toxic?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Because it could get worse. Like you were saying. No,
you were saying you could go on a five.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Kansastry, could you could?
Speaker 5 (07:19):
So?
Speaker 1 (07:20):
Okay, Well, before.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
You know, it would get twenty twenty four. It's like, okay,
let's put it out.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
No, okay, and you have stuck to this rule of
like don't put it out of the team's loss. I'm like, bas,
you can't do that, Like, but I could because I
could put Kansas State out today, which they were on
a buy so it's okay.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, they didn't lose. Which, by the way, this is
gonna air tomorrow. So whatever we decides already up, I
could put Kansas State out.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Oh oh great, hey, whatever you want.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Man, No no, no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
No no.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
I'm saying, whatever we decide, here's what I'm gonna do.
So people listening, whatever we land on is what I
did Western Kentucky want I believe yep, we have that one.
I just want to put un we in Western Kentucky
back to back.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Okay, yep. So, and Kansas is in the hopper.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Kansas State is there. It's like eighty five percent down.
But I could have it done a couple hours. Read
would be here Butody he's having a root canal and
he was like, hey, man, I'm a finished roucnal, come
right to work.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I was like, no, you go home. And then he's
going to finish the root canow and finish the edit too.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Yeah, that's crazy. I've also editing one, but I've hired
his roommate to help them. His roommates also video audio video.
So what do you what do you think? Let's see
ray our show that we do. I was like, I
don't want to put it out for a loss. But
then one of the guys we featured, Bocus collar Bone
is out for the year, heard that. Yeah, so what
would you do if you were us? I say, you
(08:29):
wait until Bam a week again.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
That could be that'll be this way, and that'll be
if we lose to Old Miss. Correct.
Speaker 7 (08:36):
I mean I think you may beat old Miss. Old
Miss is coming off that flying game against LSU. I
haven't been very impressed with Dart and Old Miss. Give
me Bam a week.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
You guys release it, okay, I mean it's not a
bad little so you go hold it a week.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
I say you put it out there because why again,
because you got old Miss? And sorry, Ray, I know
you said that, but they just put up sixty on
LSU and then you got Bama right, So, like I said,
it could get uglier before it gets better.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Eddie, put it out, put it out. I think it's
a great episode and I want people to see it.
So I'm like, put it out right now.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
That's my vote, Okay, and cam Little had a great.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Game, Mike and cam Little's a badass my and Mike's
the producer of the Executi producer of that show.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I'm also with Eddie.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I think you put it out right, Okay.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Then I'll put it out. I'll put it up today.
Ray I felt that though, I like where your mine was. Hey,
is your running back hurt or Yeah? He missed the
first rocket, Yeah, he missed two of the last three games.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Phone.
Speaker 7 (09:31):
I was just trying to figure out why this team
isn't doing as good as they were supposed to do.
I actually thought they're gonna be pretty good this year.
Rockett Sanders got hurt in the first game, miss two games.
I love kJ Jeffers me too, and he could come
back next year, but I don't know that he will. Man,
but he Rockett Sanders Heisman guy early, but hurt whatever,
and I feel like he was one hundred percent yesterday
(09:51):
moving off the Arkansas game.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Okay, but I'll put it out today.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Uh, I got a few things i'd like to Are
you do betting my betting stats? Oh yeah, Well I
like to say this because Kevin came in and was like, yo, bro,
you are right.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yeah, it's concerned.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
You need to look over your boil.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Mondays or Monday is the big recovery day.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Is usually with people, Hey, you want ray on your sidebones,
you want ray on your side.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
This weekend, I made a total of thirty eight bets. Okay,
but this is what's happening. I'm doing end games. Is
that Saturday and Sunday is at Friday to Monday?
Speaker 6 (10:26):
No, it's Monday.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah, it's Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Doing like he's doing nine of the day pretty much.
It sounds like a lot of chasing, no chasing, a
lot of live Like I'm in a good spot, I'm
gonna keep running too. I do both.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yeah, so if I'm in a good place, I'm like,
oh I can keep let me just keep hitting this
because I like where the spread's going.
Speaker 7 (10:46):
But that being said, that's interesting You'll bet it and
then bet the same game again because you just like
because because if the odds have gotten better from what
I originally was on, I feel good about it.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
I jump on.
Speaker 8 (10:58):
You've never done that, ray Im No, not now Now
that I do thirty dollars a week in yea, I
would say that most seventy sixty percent of my bets
are in game, yes, almost half.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Yes, So it's not that I'm just making a bunch
of bets and sitting and watching.
Speaker 7 (11:14):
There is something to an end game bet where you
see the flow of the game. I mean, you turn
on that Cowboys Patriots game. You know they're about to
get smacked right in the face.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Oh Titans game. I mean the Bengals didn't have a
chance in that game.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Crazy, So Eric Henry Run was running through people crazy. Yeah, okay, great,
here we go. Uh.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
And I lost most of my money on the Arkansas game.
I'm gonna be honest.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
See, that's the thing. You got to stay away from
your team. I don't though, Oh yeah, don don't better
your team. No, I always do, and I I And
the reason I lost. I would say the big loss
was Arkansas, right because I just kept Yeah, there was like,
I just like boom fifty. I like spread spreads better,
spreads better. Yeah, because they got points and then they
were there. It's fourteen and a half and I needed
them to stop on the goal.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
It was stupid. I hate it, all of it. But
here we go.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
NCAA bet total bets twenty nine bet on NC double
A football three three hundred and ney five dollars winnings
winnings meeting. Yeah, not that I won total money back
two eight hundred and forty three.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
That's a loss. So come on, NFL, Come on NFL
for a total of.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
I think I'm like negative five hundred or something, five
to fifty two five and NCUBLEA for the year.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
No, that was just this weekend.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Stupid. What am I for the year? N C double.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
A that I would have to check?
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Okay, in NFL, I only had nine bets. I was
in Arkansas, so I couldn't bet over there.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Oh yeah, yeah, did they started eight thirty eight? I
bet there.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
I bet the I did bet the Jacksonville minus thirty
game and hit it, so.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
I did first touchdown score. I was like, well that
was stupid. Now I just got to watch this stupid
game in London with no bet on it.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Did you watch the toy story version?
Speaker 6 (12:56):
I did?
Speaker 7 (12:57):
Graphics absolutely terrible if you play PlayStation, yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Like mob I liked it though. I thought it was good.
Speaker 7 (13:03):
But they wouldn't even tackle the guys. The guy it
was a glitch so the guys would still stand up.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
It was so stupid. Oh really, it wouldn't tack. I
mean would sometimes. Yeah, they was so mad at the animation.
Speaker 7 (13:12):
It was DESPN plus because you had. I canceled it
after that because he kept glitching. I would like go
to it and it would A game will resume and
I'm like, what the game's on right now?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
I got a first touchdown score? No, sometimes they're they're
on commercial. I want to see commercials too. I want
to see it all.
Speaker 5 (13:29):
All right.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
I thought it was pretty cool because it was so
instant totally it was.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
It wasn't me, it was.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Instantaneous with what was happening. NFL Bets again, I was
an Arkansas. I can't bet in Arkansas. So I made
up a few uh before I left. So I didn't
do a lot of end games, which is what I
like to do. So here you go. NFL Bets nine
Wagered six twenty five, winning six sixty four.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Okay, a little bit.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
I've hit every week on NFL, which is crazy. I
don't expect to so total on the year. Bets one
hundred and three wager twelve four undre and ninety four dollars.
I meant negative sixty eight dollars for the year. The
Arkansas game kicking right the balls? I mean, what am
I overall in college?
Speaker 3 (14:12):
I got it's gonna take.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Okay, don't worry about it. For as much as you bet, though,
it's I'll take that. Except for the Arkansas kicking the balls.
And I was just I was up.
Speaker 7 (14:20):
I mean, I've been doing pretty good. This is when
your team wins and you bet against them.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Really, that's why you don't bet.
Speaker 7 (14:25):
I never bet against my team, and I did that
with the balls in South Carolina and it just looked
like crap. And I went to bed and basic goes,
did you bet against the balls last night?
Speaker 1 (14:32):
I was like, yeah, I never bet it.
Speaker 7 (14:37):
I can't know your team wins and then you still
feel like, yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Like you lose regardless.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
So it happened to me again. Twelve game parlay. I
hit all of them except one eleven it's important to
tell us where was it at in it It was
NFL and the game was a noon game. It was
Pittsburgh Houston.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
How many into the parlay though, how many of you
had you hit?
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Well?
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Probably at that point I think three games had already
hit and that four.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Were they offering you a cash out?
Speaker 5 (15:06):
No?
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Not, because it was all it was all the noon
games got it.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
So no, no cash out.
Speaker 7 (15:11):
Sorry buddy, But dude, that you know what that means
though it's still lost, that's what that means.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Yeah, that's not the way I was.
Speaker 5 (15:16):
Looking at all.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
It means that there was one dollar to win.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Like I think it was mostly winners money lines, so
it was like seven hundred bucks. That's awesome, But uh,
this means, guys, this is two weeks in a row.
This means that I am bound to hit. That's not
what it means.
Speaker 6 (15:29):
Idi.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
It has nothing to do with the relationship of you
in versus the next week. Are you sure I'm positive.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
I've gotten two weeks in a row where I'm one
away from winning the big Dog.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
I mean twelve teams. Dude, You're never going to hit that.
I was one away. It was in Houston and Pittsburgh.
Speaker 7 (15:41):
Drop it into the sixes and sevens and you'll be
cleaning up.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yeah, no you won't. That's it doesn't work like that either.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
I almost hit seven. I got six.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I'm going to roll through some games and then if
you watched it and you have something you want to
say about it, let me know. Okay, I'll do college first.
Georgia and Auburn. I did watch a lot of this game,
and Auburn almost won this freaking game. Yeah, and if
it weren't for a touchdown from Rock Bowers late, it
had gone to overtime.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
He's so good.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I lost some money on that game because that Georgia
in the line, he's their target. Yeah, he is the
dude there. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Look, Arburn looked good. Georgia didn't look great. I don't
know which one. Yeah, yeah, there's always that confu. It's
like when Notre Dame in Ohio State play, Who's are
they greater?
Speaker 6 (16:23):
They middle?
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Oh they're But I thought it was a really good
showing for Horbarn.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
It's it's hard to take a loss and be like,
hey nice, But I thought that's pretty good for Hugh
Freeze Michigan and Nebraska. I watched like five minutes of it,
right you're in Michigan. It was I mean, it was like, okay,
let me see your balls, boom, kick you in him,
goodbye out. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (16:39):
I looked at it and it was a blow out
the whole game, and I was like, why did I
not freaking bet that. I believe it was two touchdowns.
It's just stupid that I didn't bet that one. Because
five to seven they killed them. Kansas lost of Texas
forty to fourteen. It was in Austin.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
The game was closer for longer, or at least it
was close ish close at half thirteen to seven.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Yeah, for longer than I thought it was going to be.
And I consider jumping on it, but I didn't.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
I just can't.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
Well.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Found out before the game the quarterback died.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Yeah what happened?
Speaker 7 (17:06):
They just said, oh, during warm ups he's not playing. Awesome,
Oh he didn't really die. No, I didn't play.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
I was about to say, guys, I don't know anything
about somebody dies, so hey in Texas has another good
running back man. But listen to this though about Texan,
they are what four and oh or five, and I
think they've played against four backup quarterbacks really except for Alabama.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
I think they've played all backup quarterbacks. Well, Alabama doesn't
know who their quarterback is, so.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Iowa State, No, I don't know the Platts, Oh Platts say.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
I think every quarterback they've played was a backup quarterback
except for that one.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
I know at least three of them have been.
Speaker 7 (17:40):
Not like started the whole game, but at some point
they got put in, yeah, or the whole game. Yeah,
because in Baylor they played two different quarterbacks. Okay, so
you're right on that. Probably a backup type thing that
Baylor you see.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Oh my gosh. I lost on that one too.
Speaker 7 (17:52):
It was the craziest comeback, craziest come back, unbelievable, craziest
come back ever.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Uh, Penn State, Northwestern watching none of that, don't know anybody.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
No, it was close at halftime too. I think it
was thirteen or ten, ten or something.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Oh, I saw Northwest was even up early early tide. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yah.
I didn't watch any of it. Washington beats Arizona. It
was a lot closer than I thought it would be.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
I didn't watch any of it though, just highlights. I
don't count highlights. I didn't watch it.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
I watched a lot of the USC Colorado game. That
was great, great game, and I did I bet on
Colorado to cover and I thought it was dead money
about halftime.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
But Colorado, man, they just kept firing.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Have they kept it right at the twenty one for you?
Oh forever.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
I was like, Oh, we're close, We're close. USC can't
stop anybody. Nope, they could score, but that's what's gonna
keep them from in the National Championship. Ye is, they
can't stop anybody. But it's the same thing Lincoln Ridley
did at Oklahoma. Can't stop anybody.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
So score forty eight, that's okay, and just help you out. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
When they play Oregon Washington.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
There's it's just gonna it's one hundred, one hundred. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I thought that should Sanders looked really good for the
first time I watched him and thought, oh, some of
the people right, he is really really good.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
He completes a lot of his passes.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
I remember who he's like tenth grade, like I met
him with Dion Really yeah, yeah, crazy.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
You see him as a grown man.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah, that's weird. Crazy, Yeah, it's weird to say that,
really weird. Oregon crushed Stanford. Don't know to watch any
of it.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
That was close to At the beginning.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Notre Dame Duke was a good game. Oh, great game.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
That was another one with Ohio State and Notre Dame
kind of thing. I was like, I can't tell.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Well, Duke's not a bad football team, and then just
playing and in Duke, it just makes it a lot different.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
And also Duke football and they have been better, but
they're still not somebody that you have the understanding there's
consistently gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Yeah, so I agree. I don't think Notre Dame.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Is that good.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Yeah, I don't know if their defense is that good
and their offense isn't that good or.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
The Duke corback got hurts into the game. Oh the
last last, I like the last.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Yeah, I thought Duke was gonna win it.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
That sucked.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
I watched Oregon State in Utah and I just felt
terrible because that's when I was wrong on this. I
bet this one wrong. You talk to do nothing offensively.
They had a third quarterback in at the end of
the game that he couldn't throw.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
It was just bad.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, Utah State looked good and then I mean without
Cam Rising I don't.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Know when is Cam Rising coming back? Make a call, right?
Speaker 7 (20:14):
I mean, that team is amazing. Remember them against USC.
That quarterback is really good. They've sucked all year because
he hasn't played.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Their quarterback situation was so bad at the the game
that you talk, even the announcers were like, let's just
hope this game in soon.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Yeah, that game was they said that. Yeah, they felt
that they felt bad for him.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
NFL wise, I think I watched most of these and
it's awesome that Sunday ticket is on YouTube. It's amazing,
the greatest thing ever. It's it's yeah, it's really changing.
Forty nine Ers and Cardinals. The game was closer. The
game was closer than it should have been. Yeah, and
until the end it really wasn't over. But the Cardinals
are fighting every week and I hate it. They they
need to quit. Sound like their owners.
Speaker 7 (20:53):
Yeah, yeah, I watched some expert and he said, of
all the NFL teams, the Cardinals play the hardest. Whatever
that means. Take that with you when you bet them.
But they didn't cover. McCaffrey scored four times.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Did deebo go leave the game early because he had
almost no stats and I didn't see him in the
game a lot, and he was hurt coming into the game,
but he did play, so I was flipping around. I
thought they m to be over, so I didn't. I
watch like sixty percent of it. Deebo did nothing. He
had to have been hurt. No catches in three runs.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
I'm watching ray recap Sunday on Monday is the best
he was.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
He didn't watch anything like what happened on his phone today.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
He uh was questionable going into the game, so it
was hurt going in, but did play.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
But there you go.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
He only had three rushes. Jaguars beat the Falcons, which
the Jacks had it early. They had it so much
early they went for a fourth down just like dicking
around in the first half. Yeah, and didn't get it,
and the allowed the Falcons to score and it got
a little itchy for a second, but then the Jags
just pulled it out. But the Jacks stay in London.
Now Buffalo comes out there.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Yeah, so they have two weeks in London. That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
They play in London or Germany.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Europe. I don't know if it's London again, but it's Europe.
I know it was London. I think I thought it was,
but I'm not going to fight for that.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Maybe it is, yeah, but I mean Trevorlock's play fine.
I had a couple of yards, a couple of touchdowns.
I would love for the Jags to win some games.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
No, thank you.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Did you see Ritter that Collins? Yeah, Hollands didn't dap him. Yeah,
and he like stood up me on his face.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Yeah, that's kind of weird.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
Weird.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
The Bills and Dolphins. The Bills put forty eight on
the Dolphins.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Stuff on Diggs had a day.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
I mean, Josh Allen just looked crazy good and you
know that's okay. The Dolphins, that's fine, right, Yeah, it
doesn't mean anything.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
No, it really doesn't. He means Buffalo's good again. It
means yeah, it means that. I mean Buffalo's good again.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Yeah, until like three weeks and we said, what's going
on with Josh Allen again?
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah, I mean it's just the NFL.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
The game that was the craziest to me, speaking of
just NFL, was the freaking Broncos and Bear And no,
the Bears are like twenty eight seven or whatever it was.
I flipped over went a different game twenty fourteen twenty
one right twenty field go thirty They and fields played
his brains out.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Did you see the fourth down? That the fourth and one,
fourth and one shotgun on like the eighteen or something
like that.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Arkansas did that craft two from shotgun trying to get
a one yard one They couldn't get on fourth and
one because they were Okay, let's get in punt formation
and go for it with one yard.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
To go, go back ten yards. Oh my god, is
that what you talking about?
Speaker 3 (23:32):
No, no, it was. It was like three or four
minutes left and then they called time out. They tried
to get him jump off side, called time out, thought
they were going to kick a field goal, went for it, didn't.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Get it, but then they go for it from shotgun.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Broncos got it. I can't. Yeah, it might have been
because I think it was a zone readon now that
you say that.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Actually, anyway, that game was stupid. I thought the are
the Bears both but Arkansas Moore? But I bet the
Bears and took the points. I thought the Bears would
play better. You bet the toilet Bowl?
Speaker 1 (23:56):
I did? Was it on the quad? And there was
one quad?
Speaker 5 (24:00):
To me?
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I didn't watch quad. I fingered it really interesting. I
fingered it out. I love the Quad like fingers.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
Especially when like you're playing Fantasy and three of your
players are in one quad and like this is fantastic.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
I love the Quad. But will you admit though, I mean,
you can't watch four games at once.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
It's I do. Yeah, I watched the Quad. I must
watch the zone Gennleal.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
Well, let me ask you that, like, what what do
you listen to when you're watching the quad?
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Whichever game my money's on, where the most impact that
could happen.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Right then interesting takes your interest?
Speaker 5 (24:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (24:29):
I always pick a quad with red zone and I
leave the audio on red Zone and then watch kind
of the other the other games.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
If I pull the quad up, I'm gonna finger one.
I'm pretty soon I'm just knna stick with that one.
Speaker 7 (24:40):
Or you got the quad up in my wife? So
you want to play cards, I'm like, yeah, I'll play cards. Well,
I'm not even watching the quad, so I didn't even
watch the quad and I'm paying for the quad. Yeah,
but yeah, I'll play cards, no problem.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Ravens whooped up on the Browns, but Sean Watson didn't.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Play Yeah, last minute decision. That line moved four points
when he when they announced that.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
I thought it would move a little more than that too.
I thought it'd be a touchdown move. But it is
a bad, bad situation. Ravens whooped him.
Speaker 6 (25:06):
They needed to win.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Titans crush the Bengals. Bengals look terrible. But is Joe
Burrow just hurt? He's not himself?
Speaker 7 (25:10):
Is he?
Speaker 2 (25:11):
I mean, he just doesn't look right. Is he way
rich or still hurt? You know he did get I
don't believe in the hole. You make a bunch of money,
you relax, You don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Interesting.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
He did hurt his calf again, the same one he hurt,
and he pulled up him camp, so I would assume
something's up.
Speaker 7 (25:29):
Yeah, just no sustained drives, dude. It was like they
played gross football for having two star receivers.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Did you watch the whole thing?
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:36):
And then the Titans defense got after him, right.
Speaker 7 (25:39):
The Titans, first of all, just had sustained drives. Derrick
Henry did whatever he wanted to wild.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Derreck Henry had some highlights of him just running through guys, bouncing,
guys just bouncing off of him, like Derrick Henry of old.
How do you feel about Tannehill. I only watched part
of that game because it got out of hand. Do
you feel like Tannehill is well.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
You're always gonna get an interception with him? Is he improving? Yeah? Yeah,
I would say, I mean, or is.
Speaker 7 (26:01):
He already had a ceiling and anybody else just tested? Well,
let's see how how much do we trust our quarterback.
We gave it to Dereck Henry and said, hey, throw
the ball, wildcat into the end zone.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
You do this?
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Why have a quarterback? The Rams and the Colts, that
game was pretty wild. Yeah, over time, there's another Toilet
Bowl game. But Colts should have won the game. Richardon
played good. Yeah, but he's a stud, doesn't really have
the weapons, and I don't know. The Rams still score
a bunch of points. Nobody expected them to win. Nukah
(26:33):
or Luca Okay, Yeah, that overtime touchdown, Yeah, that was awesome. Yeah,
and then the Buccaneers went again. They beat the Saints.
Look at that the boy Baker doing it. It's the
Saints first loss, I believe right, No, I think they're
two and two?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Are they and two?
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Bucks are three and one. Let's go.
Speaker 7 (26:50):
I told you guys, because why why did you tell
us Baker Baker.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
He's a big Baker fan, big Baker guy. I believe
in him. I believe it called bigger. I mean he'd
does to throw the ball up and Mike Evans just
catches it.
Speaker 7 (27:02):
No, no, not yesterday, Mike Kevins had three catches for
forty yards.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Absolutely. Oh he got hurt.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
I got hurt.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
That explains it.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Yeah, that's why there was no fight screen him in.
Speaker 6 (27:13):
You had a lot of I.
Speaker 7 (27:15):
Made a blockbuster trade, got Mike Mike Evans and traded
away DeAndre Swift DeAndre Swift and it'll be fine because
it was also the Pooka not Pooka to to two
is in on the trade. He sucked and is not
gonna do anymore once Cooper's bad. I don't think Cooper's
(27:35):
Cooper and Nuka. It's all like you could have Pooka
to to and number Cooper. But I don't know even
if Cooper comes back, and it's not gonna be soon.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
I believe it's two or three weeks. That stuff, the hamstring.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Stuff is not you know they're gonna ease that.
Speaker 7 (27:50):
They have to well they said on the screen it
said he gets to practice and that opens up the
three week window.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
What Oh, that's not what they said.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
That's what it's said on the bottom line. Promise that
Eagles won barely. Yeah, oh man, what a game.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Still undefeated them in the forty nine Ers. Ye, what
a game. I was pulling for the Commanders. Oh, I
was too, for sure.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Hey, I listen, say what you want.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
I think the Commanders have a good quarterback.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Yeah, dude, that was awesome. I think I think he
was looking pretty solid.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
Isn't he similar though, to who they had in the
last couple of years, like the backup guy that just
plays his butt off Heinikey.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Yeah, yeah, Heineke's.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
A little more of a gun slinger as in no
regard Chunk Brett. But I agree, I do see it.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
So they just play like, I don't know, you just
want to play for him.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Vikings Panthers, nobody cares boarding game. Texans whooped the Steelers.
I means is pretty freaking good, dude. I mean, he's
gonna win Rookie of the Year over Bijon. God dang
third neck and neck right now. He charges beat the Raiders.
They almost blew it at the end, which was stupid.
The Cowboys beat the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
That's kind of the recap of the week. Let's go
now and do the tittle tattle, name ever the tittle tattle.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Do you think LSU fans are upset with Brian Kelly
already after two losses.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
I think they thought they're gonna win the national championship.
But I think they thought that every year period in
the history of the world, they ran off at oseron
after he won a championship. No, it's too early. I
think if they lose a third game, they start to
get irritated more. This is his second year. If they
(29:40):
go to a big Bowl game, that's a win. Would
it have been extra sugar on top sprinkles? If they
go to the playoff, yes, finish top ten, that's a
win for LSU this year. If you were to win
the championship, that's awesome. Maybe next year your expecttions are
a little higher. But this is only the second year.
It's a long a second, but they are. LSU fans
(30:02):
have unrealistic expectations because they've been they've been allowed to
have them. Alabama fans have unrealistic expectations because they've been
allowed to have them. They've been conditioned to go, we
win all the time, so you just feel like you're
supposed to win all the time, even though you're not
supposed to win all the time, even if you win.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
All the time.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
So I get it. And LSU's gonna play Missouri. They'll
wop Missouri. I know Missouri is undefeat the Missouri hasn't
played anybody. I mean, they beat Kansas State on the field,
goalt the end. That's the only game really that they
I feel like they've played halfway decent.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Auburn. I mean, Auburn's fine.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
They played Georgia, but then they haven't really beat anybody.
But they didn't beat Georgia, but they did play them good.
Do you get moral credit for that? And then they're
gonna play Army. They'll they'll run them out. But the
SEC's weird. Man, if they were to lose one of
the two games, I'm not even saying they're they should
win both of those games. But if they were to
lose one of the two, I wouldn't be that surprised.
(30:55):
But I'm gonna say LSU fans, chill out. You lose
two games the whole year, that's a really good year.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Hey, explain the bowl goal for me, Like, so, if
you don't go to the National Championship, your goal is
to just make a bowl game.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Not that bowl game because anybody that's five hundred or
better or sometimes worse that there are not enough teams,
right makes a bowl. But there are New Year's Day
Bowls and Beyond and those that's kind of the big bulls.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
Got it?
Speaker 1 (31:16):
If not the pable, No.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
You don't want to play December twenty six, that's what
you want to play New Year's Day or Beyond, got it?
Speaker 1 (31:25):
And some of those more prestigious bowls.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
So yeah, I did, because I've heard coaches say that,
and I'm like, but coach, like, there are a lot
of bulls the toilet flush Bowl.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Well, they're not saying it any Yeah, Okay, I hear yet.
But even we talked to Sam Pittman, who's the Arkansas coach,
which we'll play a little later on. He was like,
Florida Bowl is our goal. That's that's what that's the goal.
And that's a New Year's Bowl.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, it's all. It's not the National Championship Bowl.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
But he said I think if no, I think his
answer was, it's not a successful season unless we're in
that that wasn't the goal, but it's like, that's that's
where we should be, got it. So yeah, just it's
a tier there of bowls. All right, next question, all.
Speaker 3 (31:59):
Right, what do you thing is going to happen?
Speaker 1 (32:00):
First?
Speaker 3 (32:01):
The Kelsey and t Swift breakup where an NFL coach
gets fired.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Maybe the greatest question in the history of twenty five whistles. Yeah, yeah,
I agree, So let's talk about Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
I feel like if they just stop dating right now,
they both look pretty dumb because they're both kind of
allowing it all to happen. They're both not dating, but
they're both in on whatever this is. If they are,
or even if it's straight, they're both in on it.
They're on their screw and they're talking about it and
she's showing up to games. So I feel like if
they just came out in a week and said we're
not dating anymore, that'd be a bit quick. Even if
(32:32):
they weren't dating anymore, you still give it some time
to simmer down. So I'm gonna say, man, ebra Flus
or McDaniels both could go any moment that.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
The Bear's losing that game. Yeah, it was wild.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Justin Fields finally plays the game of his life, got
like two hundred and eighty yards and a half.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
They lose, they lose.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
So I mean, how crazy would it be if the
Bears got the first and second picks next year and
they got Caleb Williams and Lincoln Riley comes and coaches
the Bearers?
Speaker 1 (33:02):
O that coul happen? Yeah, I mean they obviously they
picked Harrison too. Yeah, but I'd be crazy.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I'm gonna go ebra flu to McDaniels. I don't know
if if that the super Chargers almost blew that game,
Staley's he won, so you went, you win a game
in the NFL, good for you. You don't really look
at But he's just done so many dumb things. But
I'm gonna go eber Flus or McDaniels probably gets fired
before they break up, really, I think so.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
And it's just funding for me to say, no, I
see what you're saying now after thinking about it. Yeah,
there's too much money involved in the Kelsey Taylor things.
So yeah, I'd say that lasts longer than the coaches.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
I just think that lasts another three to four weeks
and I don't think both the coaches last three to
four weeks.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
I mean, the NFL can't how much money for the
Travis Kelsey Taylor Swift thing.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
I don't. I don't know they paid anything.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
A lot?
Speaker 1 (33:48):
Yes, all right? What else?
Speaker 3 (33:49):
Which Ricky QB performance as surprise you more? The success
of c J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson were struggles of
Bryce Young.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Bryce Young was going to struggle. He doesn't have an
offensive line, has no weapons, and he's little. Bryce Young
doesn't have a number one receiver. He doesn't have a
number one receiver. He doesn't have me to protect him.
So I'm not that surprised. It is not a good
team that should happen. The only reason it's amplified is
because CG.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
Strut's killing it. He's playing on a Houston team. What
are they doing that.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
They do have a they do have a running back,
Damian Pierce is really good. Their offensive line is pretty
it's pretty okay, it's definitely better than the Panthers offensive line.
Anthony Richardson's just dynamic as crap. It's not even They've
wont a bunch of games. What are the Colts two
and two? So you know, it's not what's when he
(34:41):
missed one game, one and a half games. Basically, what
are the Texans two and two crazy? The Texans with
two and two unbelievable. I'm still gonna say the success
of c J. Stroud to me is the most surprising,
just because I believed every supposed expert that was like,
he's an Ohio State bucket quarterback, he looks awesome. And
when I really don't know, I just listen to people
(35:01):
that I trust, and all the people that I trust
told me c J.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Strout was gonna be a bum and that Bryce Young was.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
I still believe in Bryce Young, I do, and I
don't think the height things much of a factor.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
We have other quarterbacks that were named Russell, named Drew
m m hm, So I get that. But you got
to have a good O line or else. That's all dies.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Oh, so I'm gonna go see J. Stroud to me
is the most surprising of all of it.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
Okay, last one here at one and three and the
offense really struggling. Do you think the Bengals regret bringing
back Joe Burrow to start the season.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
Probably now.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
I think if you're able to go back and do hindsight,
maybe you let him get fully healthy because he probably
wasn't one hundred percent. He's probably healthy enough that you
want to start him if it's a playoff game or
a game that really mattered. But I think now, because oh,
it's been bad to the Bengals and it's not like
he's gotten any better because he's been playing. You know,
you get your time during the week, but then it's
(35:56):
right back you're vulnerable again. So probably if you're gonna
lose games, which they have, you'd rather lose them with
your quarterbay getting healthier than having them play. So hindsight, yes,
but I'm not gonna hate him out have started him too.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
I hear a lot of announcers saying like, oh, the
calf injury is one thing, but there's got to be
something else going on, Like what could possibly be going
on more than that, like personally what he.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Got engaged right or that was the big rumor too,
And also but the thing he made all he signed
a contract for all the money, so there's a lot.
I don't know what they're insinuating. Just feel like, what
are you talking about? Yeah, I don't think that that's
Everyone's like you get paid all of a sudden, you
don't want to play.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
That's not hard too, right, Bo's gonna eye the Tiger.
He's hurt.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
The Bengals I think will be fine. They'll end up
going to the Bahama Bowl. Leddy like, yeah, watch it.
He'll be like, let's go, all right. That's tittle tattle,
the tittle tattle, all right.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (36:58):

Another parlay loss. I didn't want to go over the
loss last week, but I'm the Utah game, you know,
wasn't my best work.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
I thought they'd score a little more than that. Though
they'd be a little better than that.
Speaker 7 (37:16):
But it's not fair, I believe probably when you said
the line we thought the quarterback was playing that he
didn't play.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
I thought it would at least be open because he
was going through warm ups last week.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
So whatever, we'll get him this week.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
I'm gonna play this interview with Eddie and I and
coach Sam Pittman of the Arkansas Razorbacks. It is not
a great time right now to be a Razor, but
there have been much worse times. And there's adversity and
you just look at versity in the face, spit in it,
and you win the next ball game. Yeah, but it's
(38:10):
a little toxic right now online.
Speaker 5 (38:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Yeah, we should have be BYU. That game was set
up for us to win. We should have bet LSU.
We had first and goal on the one and somebody
jumped off a false start. It's been a bad stitch,
to be honest with you. But I'm big Pittman guy,
love him. I think we're gonna turn this thing around.
We got four I think top seventy five recruits coming in.
We play on the team like. So that being said,
(38:37):
I am still a big believer. I love coach Pittman,
and here he is. This is us with coach Sam Pittman.
Speaker 6 (38:42):
Coach, how are you no?
Speaker 5 (38:43):
Good man? It's good to see you.
Speaker 6 (38:44):
Good to see you too. It's my setup question before
I go right to it. How's it going?
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Yeh?
Speaker 5 (38:49):
Is it true?
Speaker 2 (38:51):
It's when we talk to you here now it's about
to be week two, second non conference game in a row.
Speaker 6 (38:58):
Is there like a game a is we showed.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
This much of our playbook and if we're good with it,
then we can go to the Is there like a
limit that you kind of have to hit before you
graduate to the next level early in the season.
Speaker 5 (39:12):
Not really this year. I mean, because Dan's new and
te wheels new. We basically just went into game planning
like we normally would, running plays that we felt like
we'ld have success, ones that we could do, you know,
more importantly than even the success of them that we
could do correct didn't have a lot of mistakes and things.
(39:34):
So now, I mean, you're obviously going to put a
few more plays in as the season progresses. You obviously
want to save something a little bit for the SEC games.
But we have to win as we continue to grow
and get better, So not a whole lot of holding back.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
Do you have one crazy trick play that you've always
wanted to do but it's never been the exact right
moment for it, But you're just like, if it's ever
presented perfectly, we're going to run the backwards under scooter volley.
Speaker 5 (40:01):
There's been many games that you're going just give us it,
give us it, and then you might even call it
and the look's not there, and then everybody's bombed out,
you know, and and but uh, yeah, I mean, I
don't know if we've ever want ran one. You know,
we've run double passes and things of that nature. But
they better work. Man. If they don't work, you catch
(40:21):
so much. Heck, you know if they don't work. But uh,
it's all about timing too, you knowing those things, and
we've we tried a few in the last three years
just then quite work like we wanted them to.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
How much freedom does a kicker or a punter have,
either on kickoff or they're punting, to actually make that
decision if they see there's not a guy guarding the gun, Like,
how can they actually call, Hey, I'm gonna snap it,
I'm gonna throw it now.
Speaker 5 (40:50):
Now we will have we will have fake punts on
the front end of it and then we'll call it off,
or we'll have on side kicks or you know, something
something in the middle or something like that that we'll
call it off. But no, they I mean, they're both
pretty good athletes. But we haven't we haven't got to
there yet.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
But what if one say, Camu calls one and it
worked better and it right and it works.
Speaker 6 (41:15):
And you what, you didn't call it, nobody knew it.
But he's like, all right, I feel it. He calls
it on the line and it works. Are you upset
at him if it works?
Speaker 5 (41:25):
Yes? But but but in the media will probably take
credit for it, like, yeah, it was a great call
and Scott made it, no, or I made it, you know.
But now, oh, if it worked, you know, and it
helped us win, you know it, we'd forgive him.
Speaker 6 (41:43):
You still have a little talk absolutely.
Speaker 4 (41:45):
Coach locker room speeches. Do you go in there like
knowing what you're gonna say or is it just top
of the dome?
Speaker 6 (41:52):
Like how do you do that?
Speaker 4 (41:52):
Because I feel like the first one big pregame you
kind of have the week to think about what you're
gonna tell your boys, But do you kind of just
go on the.
Speaker 5 (42:00):
Fly before the game. It's usually something that you've tried
to put in their heads all week. But I go,
I have like BBC or SAT or whatever it may be,
in that order of how I'm going to say my
three things that I'm going to say, and I usually
(42:21):
get that locked in whenever we get through with the hogwalk.
We get through the hogwalk and I go, Okay, how
do I want to I kind of know what I
want to say, but then I put it in order,
and then then just the S stands for whatever. And
you know, last week started for playing smart, you know,
first game and all those type things. So I do
(42:43):
have something going into the motion you have to put in.
So it's hard. A lot of times when I first
got here, it was just whatever I'm going to say,
you know, but that's more of a motivational deal at
that and then at half it's kind of like, all right,
we're talking right now, right, here's what we have to do.
You know, don't panic. The world's not coming to an
(43:05):
end or we're way ahead. Let's go out and play.
You're playing against yourself, not necessarily the scoreboard, things of
that nature.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
Do you ever feel though that maybe you've actually repeated
yourself if you're like doing a motivation because you can
only use one every four years, like safely maybe five
COVID six, You know, you only is that one motivational
nugget specifically, you.
Speaker 5 (43:26):
Know, when I was at Northern Illinois, Joe Novak did
the greatest thing I'd ever seen in pregame. And he
had these two police officers standing over there and he
asked them, I forget the school we were playing, the
university we were playing. He said, Hey, is all their
fans in here as a team in here? He's asking
(43:46):
these police officer and he brought out the biggest chain
and he goes, go lock the gates. We're gonna lock
him in here and we'll let him out when we're
through with them. And I thought that was the greatest
thing ever. Well, two years ago, we're playing Texas and
I just kept talking to the team, We're gonna lock
the gates on them. We're gonna get them in here.
We're gonna lock them in here, and we'll let them
(44:08):
out when we get done. I just kept talking about it. Thursday,
I talked about it. We're gonna lock them in here,
you know. And well, so I called Joe and I said, coach,
you don't mind if I use this lock the gate,
they'll do you. And he said, oh no, I stole
it from Bill Mallory when we coach together in Indiana.
And so I'm getting ready to hang up, and he goes,
(44:29):
but Sam, it's undefeated, so if you're going to use it,
you better win. I'll never forget that. And I'm like, oh,
my lord, and I thought, well, we got a good
chance to win. So we used it. The team went
off and it was a lot of fun and we won.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
And that game I waited in traffic. My wife is here,
two weird in traffic for three hours. Yeah, because we
to me, I hate Texas and I hate them because
they're legit and when you grow up in Arkansas, they're
the big brother. And you know, I caught the back
end of the Southwest Conference days, but I I hate
Texas respectfully. So when they came to town, I lived
in Ostober twelve years. So when they came to town,
(45:08):
I mean I was foaming at the mouth for that.
And so you wouldn't let me in the game. So
I set up on the suite and we could have
left because it's kind of hard to get out of here,
and I was like, no, I want to stay on.
We get everybody storm on the field. I was freaking
loving it, and then we're like, okay, let's get out here.
We sat in traffic for three hours. They almost wouldn't
let us flex we flew home privately, and so they
(45:31):
almost they almost duft the plane down because it took
us three hours to get there.
Speaker 6 (45:33):
They're like, we can't take you home. Oh, it's a
real sad story. Guess please feel somethry for me.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Everyone sorry for you now.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
But also the Texas team was on the on the
They had chartered like a Southwest Fighter Delta flight behind us,
and they were getting on the plane behind us, were
waving out to the window. It's pretty awesome that Texas
game had.
Speaker 5 (45:49):
To feel special, Yeah, I did, you know, it kind
of validated. You know, we had beaten Ole Miss in
Mississippi State and Tennessee the year before, and then coming in.
I forget first game was Rice. I think we didn't play,
you know, especially well. I think we won big at
the end, but we didn't play well. And Texas was
Week two and our offensive line, our offense played extremely well,
(46:13):
defense played well, and the atmosphere was what college football
is supposed to be. And it was Yeah. I mean
I think that validated a little bit of our program.
I think maybe even validated me somewhat.
Speaker 6 (46:29):
Yeah, I wasn't sold until the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
So can you feel because you try to be as
much of the people as any coach that I know,
But can you feel the teams that we just that
the fans just absolutely want to beat more than the
other teams.
Speaker 5 (46:45):
You can feel it? Yeah, I mean you really can
You feel it in the hogwalk? You can. You can
feel it pre game. The more people in the stands
pre game, the more excited excited the fans are. I mean,
I know, tailgating is a big deal. The hell when
I retire, I'm going to be out there too, you know.
But you can feel all you sure can. The kids can,
(47:07):
uh the size of the hogwalk, you can feel that too,
and so and a lot of times you're really humbling
because you go out there and there yell them you
know my name or whatever, like I'm going to play
I'm not playing, you know, but very humbling too.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
At the same time, do you ever go to the
grocery store alone? Uh no, because you don't like the
grocery shop, or because you can't.
Speaker 5 (47:32):
Well, I like to eat, I don't necessarily like the
grocery shop, but no I can't. I mean I can go,
I go wherever I want to, but uh, it's not
easy to get out, you know what I mean. It's
a lot of a lot of folks.
Speaker 6 (47:47):
I mean, this is a state, this is a town
that we love. It's what we have.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Yeah, because you know, because we don't have a lot
as far as we don't have a population to have
any professional team, like we have the Razor and you know,
you had the keys to our house that we love.
Speaker 6 (48:03):
And you know, you're you're the guy.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
And I can't imagine how popular and how famous you
are to people walking around because you're the guy that
we all look to to get us, you know, nine
ten eleven wins.
Speaker 5 (48:13):
Well, I understand that too, I do. And none of
it's a burden, No, no, no, I'd rather be doing
what I'm doing than anything else in the world, and
very honored to be looked at that way. But it is,
you know, I can remember Bobby when Hunter came to
the house and one of the last questions he asked
me was can you handle being the head coach at
(48:36):
Arkansas with the public? And I was like, I don't
know what you mean, you know, and I didn't you know,
And of course the answer was, oh, hell yeah, I
can do you know, you know whatever. But you can't
be prepared for being the head coach at Arkansas until
you're doing it, because it is. It's a different deal
and I enjoy every bit of there, and not all
(48:59):
of it, you know, me most of it. But that
was a question he asked because he understood more than
I did.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
This job is obviously football, but it's so much public
relations as well. And so with you being the CEO
of this company, in the face of this company that
is Arkansas Football, there are a lot of things that
people probably don't realize you have to do.
Speaker 6 (49:19):
And it's it's politics in a way.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
And I consider running for the governor of Arkansas for
a bit, but then they were like, oh you do
is get on the phone ask peple for money the
whole time. That's all like, you do what you do,
but really it's a lot of funding things and so
that's got to be a big part about what you
do as well, right, is making sure that people in
full disclosure, I'm a donor of the program, but making
sure people feel involved and feel like there's some optimism
(49:42):
about the program.
Speaker 5 (49:43):
Yeah, I think it's about access, you know, or am
I willing to go do this, this and this and
show gratitude and things for people who are donors. You know,
there's a lot that goes on on each and every day,
a lot like today. There's been so many different things
(50:04):
that go on. Some of it has to do internally,
some of it has to do with nil, some of
it has to do with what's going on on the portal,
all those type things. There's always something. I'm not really
good at much, but I am a good problem solver
because nothing really takes me up here and nothing really
takes me down here. But I do want to solve
(50:24):
it as fast as I can. But as far as
the donors, we've got plenty of wealthy people in the state,
but they're not going to give It's just like a teacher,
she's not going to want you to give you a
good grade if she doesn't know who you are. And
it's the same thing with donors. They want to know
(50:44):
who you are. They see who you are on TV,
but they want to sit down and have a conversation
with you. And if we're asking them to give money,
I need to do that. Coach.
Speaker 4 (50:53):
I know Bobby has your phone number, and be honest here,
how often does he text you?
Speaker 5 (50:58):
No?
Speaker 1 (50:58):
Hold on, I'm not asking you, I'm asking coach.
Speaker 6 (51:00):
I said once I want a water burger. It's like,
let me alone.
Speaker 4 (51:01):
Other than that, Coach, does he ever text you before
a game and say, Coach, I think we should do this?
Speaker 5 (51:06):
No?
Speaker 6 (51:07):
Not, he did though a call.
Speaker 5 (51:10):
You don't care if I said what one? I did
get a call? Uh. And I happened to be on
the lake just to go by and hey, look at
this place, and I did. I was more happy to
do it, and went by. I took a few pictures, uh,
from the.
Speaker 6 (51:25):
Lake side music.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
It was like foreigner, you can tell foreigner on the
barge and.
Speaker 5 (51:31):
And he was like yeah, but he did because I
aint it looked like a nice place but still hadn't sold.
Speaker 6 (51:37):
So I don't ever want to abuse that.
Speaker 5 (51:39):
Oh no, you you absolutely do not.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
I feel guilty asking for like a T shirt, that's right,
But this program, this, this organization, this program the school
to me and my my wife would say the same thing,
like I've been able to do some cool stuff like
I've written best sellers, I sell out theaters, I do whatever.
I have a big radio show, but all that goes
secondary when Arkans place football and that crazy every single thing.
Speaker 5 (52:03):
I think there's a lot of successful people that feel
the same way. You know, it's weird. I mean, it's wild,
but it's a passion for the Hogs. That's how you
grew up. It's how I grew up.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
And it was the really only consistent thing. I moved
around a bunch like mom or live with Grandma or
got you know, shipped around a little bit, but the
only thing that was consistent was Saturday Arkansas was going
to play on like JP Sports or you know wherever
it was. And I think that is And also when
you come from a place that doesn't have a lot,
what you do have is so important. Amen, And that's
(52:34):
this whole that's that's the whole deal here. And so
you know, you feel like you're one of us. But really,
what people don't know if you have a British accent
and you're actually from London, and you really that's the
thing about your coach, you.
Speaker 6 (52:44):
Really pull it off.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Well. You know, I'm a small town kid from Oklahoma,
and and when I came over here my junior year,
I wanted Lou Holtz was a coach. I wanted to
be a hog so bad. And I had my my
aunt and uncle lived in Don't Dover, Arkansas, and they
were big hog fans. And I do anything the hogs
(53:08):
offered me. Of course, they were smart and they didn't.
I wasn't either, but I was hoping, you know, and
I wouldn't offered me now. And but I fell in
love with the hogs and that was it. And then
I'll be honest with you, coming back here as an
old line coach was a dream, you know, I think
it was a dream more. You know, how you do
(53:28):
some things and it's for your parents, you know, some
of it's a little bit more for you and getting
back home, but it's for the enlightenment and the gratitude
appreciation for what your parents did. And here we're doing
something that was a little bit about it then. And
then come back as a head coach was that was unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
When you got the job, did you feel like you
were in the mix early.
Speaker 5 (53:51):
Oh, no, Thursday, about Thursday. Now we're getting ready to
play the SEC Champions Georgia. We get ready to play LSU.
And I had spoke with Hunter that week on a Monday,
and I felt like it was kind of a courtesy
type deal, you know, because the kids had wanted, you know,
(54:14):
him to talk to me.
Speaker 6 (54:15):
You're old guys here when you were.
Speaker 5 (54:16):
Yeah, and so went about our business, and you know,
I had an agent and she said, we're not going
to do anything to after the game. I said, that's
I don't want to do anything to after the game.
And then after the game, I look at my phone.
It's crickets, you know, I'm going, oh yeah. And then
I was thankful that I had the job I had,
(54:36):
you know. And and then Sunday, at about ten am
Eastern time, Jamie called me and she was bawling, you know,
and I say, I thought something had happened to her
parents or something like that, Arkansas. I was going to
call you, you know, and they did well. Back in
the day, I didn't have two phones.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
I wonder which number I have any another was that's
a good question. Now I probably got the crappy number.
Speaker 5 (55:01):
No, I think you got the batphone.
Speaker 2 (55:02):
You'll be funny if we If I called him, he
had them both out and we saw. We made them
declare which phone was real, and then we saw which
one ring. I think you got my okay, but they
called They called her she had the phone.
Speaker 5 (55:11):
Well what happened? I didn't have two phones. But I
didn't want to interview with Arkansas on George's phone, so
I took Jamie's phone to uh whenever I interviewed. And
then they called that phone number and Jamie, you know,
Jamie had it at home and she said, here's the number,
call you know, and I did. And they just said, hey,
(55:32):
give us an hour and if we take bring the
plane to Athens, we're going to hire you as the
next head coach, you know. And so I said, ring
the plane, I said, well come.
Speaker 2 (55:44):
On, that's like the pope watching the smoke. Yeah, like
you just watching for the plane of flying.
Speaker 5 (55:47):
I said, well, well come on, come on now, and
they said, well, crazy business, you know. We'll let you
know in an hour. So I want to talk to
Kirby about it, you know. And and then a boy
hour and fifteen minutes later they called they were coming
to Athens and then could you believe it? No? And
then so I'm driving home and I'm I don't know,
(56:09):
I'm maybe ten minutes out, and the chancellor calls and
then I'm going, man, this is like real. And he's
talking about academics and I'm like, yes, absolutely, you know,
I don't care if they even practice, you know. And
so I hung up the phone. I think, well, then
I need a haircut. So I go to Supercuts. I'm
(56:29):
nineteenth in line. The thing said the ticket. The thing
says fifty nine minutes. Well, that plane's going to be
there in n ieron ten. And I'm going, well, am
I gonna? I saw, I'm gonna get the haircut. So
I got my haircut. I got home and I took
a quick shower, put a tight suit on because that's
all I own because I keep thinking I'm gonna lose weight,
(56:51):
but I don't and so but so I put my
tight suit on and then here they come in and
they we talked for a little bit, and about three
or four people with cameras they started walking in. I'm going, man,
I think I think I got a chance. And they
started a video and stuff and then we came back
and on the way back they said, hey, you've got
(57:12):
a team meeting at such and such. Well, I hadn't
prepared for nothing. I was in there grading tape on
the LSU Georgia game, you know that morning. I hadn't
prepared for anything. So I just dritted a few notes.
Speaker 6 (57:23):
I all, haven't that fast?
Speaker 5 (57:24):
That fast? You still get your hair cut at supercuts.
I think either supercuts or pro cuts. I don't know,
but it's they come to you now. But I've got
a young lady that I call and she gets me
in before no longer have to wait in that line. No,
I like her. I mean, I'm old, who cares what
my hair looks like?
Speaker 6 (57:44):
So talk about hiring now?
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Because offensive cornerator of this year been here before, and
so you make that call to him.
Speaker 6 (57:52):
He was a Maryland I believe, and like now that
you know what.
Speaker 2 (57:56):
It's like to be hired for a huge, high profile situation,
does that make you? Does that do you treat people
differently as now an executive as well executive anacon?
Speaker 5 (58:06):
I hope I treat them like I would anybody. The
expectations of what their them doing their job is high,
you know, when when KB was going to go to
you know, was talking about Mississippi State. I had called
Dan and said, hey, if KB leaves, would you being
interested and he said absolutely so. Uh, whenever Kendall decided
(58:30):
to go to TCU, that was quick and fast. Now
T Wills was a little bit longer, you know, because
they interviewed more people, uh for that job. Actually, I
was in Maryland and everybody was saying I was there
to get their defensive coordinator, when I was just up
there to see John, you know, our defensive end. And
(58:51):
so I was supposed to meet t Will in Orlando
and I said, hey, can you drive to Tampa so
because they're back in the plane and he said yes. Well,
so then I interviewed t Will. I knew right when
we got done, that's who I wanted to hire. Flew
from there to Miami to pick up Morgan Turner, our
(59:14):
tight end coach. He was recruiting for Stanford, and I said,
just buy any kind of clothes. Just I'm not letting
you on the plane if you have Stanford gear on.
And we picked him up and we came home. So
that was that was a heck of a day. When
we when we hired Travis Williams, but I did not
hire him at that point because I didn't want to
(59:36):
disrespect UCF because it was close to signing day. And
then Gus called me and said, I'm gonna lose my
my secondary coach. Are you gonna hire t will I
said yes, but I'm trying to show respect and this,
and he said, well, go ahead and hire him because
if not, I'm going to lose my secondary coach, whom
(59:56):
he hired as Yeah, he promoted. So yeah, So it's
a crazy world coaching.
Speaker 6 (01:00:02):
It's just kind of hit the ground running here.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Since he lived here before, he did that element of
like finding a place to live, it's probably easier so
he can be normal quicker.
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
Yeah, he knew the whole place just like I did
when I came back, and it was a very easy transition. Actually,
he flew in and then went on the road when
he landed. As soon as he landed, he went into
a couple of schools right when he landed, so that
was easy. And then te well, you know, he was
at Auburn. He understands the recruiting of the SEC and
(01:00:31):
all that kind of stuff. He came in during the
Bowl prep during the Liberty Bowl prep, so his wasn't
so urgent. You know, we were in the recruiting season
definitely towards a little bit more urgency when Dan got here.
But they both done an outstanding job.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Is there a I don't want to say new, but
the significance has kind of been restated of having a
really good back up quarterback. Do you feel that way
after what happened last year with kJ get hurt?
Speaker 5 (01:01:04):
Yeah? Absolutely. I mean, you know, in life, you learned
a lot of lessons, and being the head coach, you
learned a lot of lessons. Some people think you're pretty
good at what you do, some people think you're horrible,
you know, all that kind of stuff. But as long
as you've as long as you're willing to learn all
the time and admit that there's I was a mistake
or whatever. And we just weren't quite ready there in
(01:01:27):
the backup quarterback situation. And so you know, we went
out got Chriswell, who I think is going to be
a really good player for us years to come, and
and we went out got him and got him in
the game the other day and he went to for
t Yeah, he's got a.
Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
Gun spins it as they say, all right, final three questions, Eddie,
go ahead.
Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
Yeah, coach.
Speaker 4 (01:01:47):
The players keep you young, you know, they kind of
come to your office and teach you the new lingo
and new words.
Speaker 5 (01:01:52):
Do you say stuff like lit and no, I haven't
lit up yet. But but Telly, what keeps me young?
We were actually talking about it out there during flex
and I said, you know, I'm sixty one. I don't
feel I feel young, but I know a lot of
sixty one year olds that are sixty one, you know,
(01:02:14):
if that makes sense when we were talking about it
out there. But the music, like whatever music they're playing,
if I like the song, then I tell Dalton or
equipment guy, I say, give it to him, and then
I'll put it on my Hot Springs yacht club, you know. Deal.
But the music kind of keeps me young too. So
there are some there is some music that they, you know,
(01:02:37):
the young kids listen to that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
I like, what's one artist that you got kind of
turned to recently?
Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
What's the guy? The last one I put on there
was I can't what's the guy's name? Something fifty? It was,
I can't. Yeah, a new guy. I've never heard him before.
But what happens is if you do that d version.
A lot of times it's just a beat. You knows
(01:03:04):
a lot of yeah we do, we don't. We don't
have the F bomb and all that stuff. But nowhere
in this building, you know, unless somebody says it, not
on lyrics and all that kind of stuff. So, you know,
I'm on Hot Springs Yacht Club. I'm gonna crank it.
I got a nice stereo, you know, on my boat,
and so I don't want, you know, all that stuff
(01:03:25):
on there. You know. So a lot of times though,
it's just the beat, you know, because it's nothing else.
Speaker 6 (01:03:31):
It's all instrumental.
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
It's my whole is just an instrumental. It's a great meat.
Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
I had two questions left your opinion, what's the greatest
football movie of all time?
Speaker 6 (01:03:44):
Mm hmmm mmm, what are the best three?
Speaker 5 (01:03:48):
Well? Do you count Forrest Gump as as a football
not football? Right?
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
A lot of football there?
Speaker 5 (01:03:56):
He played football football. I mean, what was the one
where Adam Sandler was in that water Boys? Pretty good?
I thought, Uh, no one said that yet obviously, uh
help me, Kyle, along with your ard.
Speaker 6 (01:04:18):
He just said a movie and that the old version
coach of the new one.
Speaker 5 (01:04:21):
Hold On, hold on, I'm talking about our guy, Brandon
Burlsworth Greater. That's a good football movie. That but that
that's a yeah movie. And then the last one, I
wist say unnecessary roughness.
Speaker 6 (01:04:39):
Yeah, that's a good one.
Speaker 5 (01:04:40):
That's a good one. It was a good one. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:04:41):
Kathy Island was the kicker.
Speaker 5 (01:04:42):
Yeah, she was the girl kicker. Yeah. I thought it
was a good one.
Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
Yeah, because when I was a kid, everybody liked Kathy Island.
Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
What school was that, Texas does a green.
Speaker 5 (01:04:52):
Nor Green? I don't know you count me on that one,
but I do like Bobby Bouchet, you know, hilarious.
Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
So all right, final question, what is a success for
you this year, with this season, with this team. Non
cliche answer, Florida Bowl or better.
Speaker 5 (01:05:12):
We want to get We want to be in the
top twenty consistently, and the Florida Bowl were better. And
if we can do that, then to me, we've we've
had the lowest amount of success. In other words, we
can not have to, you know, go incognito in town
(01:05:35):
or in the state. But I said to Florida bows,
some Florida Bow is the floor, it's the marker. And
then whatever whatever else.
Speaker 6 (01:05:45):
That's an honest answer.
Speaker 5 (01:05:45):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
I'm glad it wasn't well. I feel like if the
players just come to me and say we had a
good day, that was a win. Those answers we don't like.
Speaker 5 (01:05:52):
No. Well, when we went out to out Back Bowl,
we finished twentieth in the country one nine games, and
to me, that's that should be, you know, somewhere around
the floor of what we get done.
Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
So well, we love you, coach.
Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
We're pig and when we go places, they're like, you're
gonna come watch a game. I told Beamer at South Colines, like,
you should come out be on the sideline, and everybody's story.
Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Everybody was in the room.
Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
I said, do you think you have a free Saturday?
I'm gonna come here and not go to a Mitch
Arkansas play. And he goes, that's a good point.
Speaker 6 (01:06:26):
And that was it. And now that's how that conversation ended.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
So we're super pumped about this year, super pomped to
have you.
Speaker 6 (01:06:31):
We appreciate the time.
Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
All right, Thanks coach, Thanks.
Speaker 1 (01:06:38):

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
A few things I want to mention First of all,
the clip of my homes running that like I don't know,
it looks like a third and twenty five or whatever
it was, and there's just bladant holding holding that can't
say the defensive place.
Speaker 1 (01:07:40):
I mean it's so bladant.
Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
Yeah, and people are like, okay, they're protecting my homes.
They wanted the Chiefs to win. And to that, I say, probably, oh,
oh yeah, you think so. I was more of the
Oh it is so blatant.
Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
I absolutely agree with that blade, but I'm more of
the there's holding every single place.
Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
I agree, but it's like you can hold on the inside.
This was holding is.
Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
Out in the open, I mean wide open, and they
had broken down.
Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
Superstars get superstar treatment. I believe that is the case
or the script man script. I don't believe in a script.
Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
I cannot lose with t Swift in the house, then.
Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
I don't believe in a script. But the Bears are
probably going to release Chase Claypool. Oh no, they say
he's like a child.
Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
Yeah, really, he's an odd dude.
Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
Dude, yeah, a great man that was like a what
a few three years ago.
Speaker 2 (01:08:26):
They've asked for a fifth round pick, but nobody's wanted
to trade that for him, and so they're like, all right,
well he's been catered to his whole career. He's a child,
and no one wants to deal with it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
Who said that? A source close to the situation. He's okay,
So he's doing He's whipping people with the towel in
the locker room. That's what he's doing. I thought he
was panting people.
Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
The Glazer was current odds for NFL coaches to be
fired number five, Robert salaf and the Jets ten to one.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
No way, you can't. You can't.
Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
He bought himself another year.
Speaker 5 (01:08:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:08:59):
I think he hurt Rogers, Oh yeah, on purpose. And
now Rogers said he's coming back this year.
Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Okay, he's only yes, I agree, and he's only even
considering it if like eight things go right, and one
of them is if the Jets win enough games to
be in.
Speaker 4 (01:09:15):
It much fun though, to be able to say whatever
you want and you know it's gonna be printed, it's
awesome and people are gonna talk about it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
It'd be awesome.
Speaker 6 (01:09:22):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Brandon st Elliot four, Ron Rivera at three. Although I
don't feel like Ron Rivera is gonna get fired, it's not. Yeah,
I feel like Staley before him. Maddieberflus at two and
Josh McDaniel's at one. He's two to one odds to
be fired. How about you read that about yourself and
Jonathan Taylor to return to practice this week.
Speaker 1 (01:09:38):
I don't know what with who? Who's he with the Colts?
And they never got rid of him, never got rid
of him. He's been on the on the pup on
the pup. What is the pup? It's where you can't play.
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
It was physically unable to perform, so it should be
putt physically unable to but you physically could have performed, right,
he just yeah, nobody really knows, but yeah, his ankle
quote unquote right, yeah, sure, okay, yeah, all right, well
that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
And what's i R in your reserve? Got it STD?
That's sexual transmitted disease?
Speaker 3 (01:10:13):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
Is that one of the ones you could get in
the list for m h Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
Look, we still have to cover our locks last week
real quick.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
I don't want to.
Speaker 6 (01:10:21):
Oh yeah, I'm glad you're minded me.
Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
Go ahead? All right?
Speaker 6 (01:10:25):
Read over there.
Speaker 3 (01:10:26):
You have the Colts minus two and you lost Buddy.
Speaker 6 (01:10:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
Sorry, I had Georgia minus fourteen and a half.
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
I lost Buddy Bobby Arkansas plus six and.
Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
A half shut out.
Speaker 9 (01:10:35):
Sorry, Ray, who's not sitting with us right now, but
he had Kansas plus sixteen and a half that lost
to the only winner this week, Cowboys minus seven eddies
about cowboys.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
We all know ten bus not me. Put it in
the put it in the big in the piggy bank.
I got a jar. No, you do have a jar.
Speaker 3 (01:10:55):
I gotta come in.
Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
Yeah, okay, he's not spending money in anything I know,
but we will. Yeah, there is a new too Much
Access University of Parkansas.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Go check it out.
Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
We get Bill gold lessons from Cam little we that
you know was tidying and broke his collarbone.
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
Blucaz who was killing it.
Speaker 4 (01:11:10):
He is with us.
Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
Uh so check that out. Just go to too Much
Access dot com and that's it. I have to go
to the butthole doctor right now. That's no good. I
don't want to go. You have to sit in those stirrups,
like I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
My doctor texts me because I've been taking this medicine,
like rubbing it on my butt and he's like, how's
it been going?
Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
But it's I've had a like had a ibs re
bad in a strength.
Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
So then it's like hemorrhoid and it's like bleeding and stuff,
and I'm like, it's not going great. He goes, you
need to come in, and I'm like when he goes,
he's probably coming today. And I was like, I'm my
literal message. I'm sorry I fick my buttole today. You
said that to him, Yeah, that's nice to be. No
he need respond. He's like, yeah, I know, because I
would have. I would have shaved it stopped. I would
(01:11:55):
have thought, what are you talking about. I would have
taken the back because I'm at work and I'm going
from work.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
He doesn't care. He's not you don't have to groom
for the dot.
Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
I would because it's no, it's just disgusting. I hate
the people have to look at my butthole. Sucks, but
it hurts killing. It's kill me for like two months.
What well, you asked the doctor if he appreciates it.
I shave my butt when I got to call an
oscopy an endoscopy because we're trying to see if anything
(01:12:25):
was wrong with man sides and it wasn't, and I
was all messed up when I came out of it,
and I was like, I shaved my butthole I said
that to the nurse.
Speaker 3 (01:12:31):
Oh my god, do you ever wonder how doctors could
just be doctors like that?
Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
That's just wild, and I would think that they just
get used to it. But then even then, I know
it's still gross. You're still a human.
Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
You know they're judging.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
And then male guynecologists, you know, they're a little weird.
Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
The only thing I can do like gynecologists, proactologists, that
kind of thing that especially male. Female, I get sure,
but male it's like, well, there's only you can't get
in this class. There's only three seats left in GUYO
one O two, so you can go. Okay, And so
that's how they end up there.
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
Fine, I'll do it.
Speaker 6 (01:13:03):
I'll do proctology.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
God dang man, I just want to get into something.
So that's it. We'll check you guys.
