What's up? They came in here like a tornado. Give
me my money, Give me my money.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
You did.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
You're a good actor.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Of course I am. But all this time I've been acting.
All this time, everything.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I believe that I've been acting.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
I'm an actor.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
All right? All right, Well, anyway, we got a good show.
It is a wealth Wednesday, and I thought this would
be would be amazing.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
We had Michelle Anthony on here.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
She's been talking about government contracts, something you should maybe
get into because people get like millions and millions of
dollars with these contracts, federal contracts. But she's the founder
and CEO of Anthony and Associates, Inc. And we have
the founder and CEO of speaker Way to Cash, Ashley Kirk.
Were joining us, and we're gonna do a live mentoring
session so that she can help Ashley scale her business
(01:06):
and get to the next level. All right, So you know,
I'm actually going to do some things too and documented
so people can see how it works to get these
government contracts.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, yeah, because.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
They contract for everything.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
All right, Well, anyway, let's start the show off with
some love with some positivity. Let's shine a light eight
hundred two nine fifty one fifty Call us up. Let
us know who you want to spread some love to,
who you want to shine a light on? Oh we
love starting this off with some neo misindependent. It's way up.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Shine turn your lights on, y'all spreading love to those
who are doing greatness.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Light on, shine a light on.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
It's time to shine a light on.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
All right, it's way up. I'm Angela, yee my guy
Meino's here and let's shine a light. And today you know,
it's a wealth Wednesday. And I already told you. Michelle Anthony,
who is the founder and CEO of Anthony and Associates,
is going to be joining us. So I want to
shine a light on her and all the work.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
That she does.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
She's a trailblazer and clean energy. She's known as the
Queen of Grapheme. She's also a US Army veteran and
she started her first black own court reporting firm in
Virginia in nineteen ninety four. She couldn't get a job
in that field because of discrimination.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
And she has won millions.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
When I say millions, I mean hundreds of millions of
dollars and government contracts, and she is now paying that
information forward to I want to make sure that we
shine a light on her and all the work that
she's doing, and you know what we're doing that specially
because it is a Black Business Month. At the end
of the month, you guys will be able to call
in and ask her questions about these government contracts and
(02:41):
how you can also scale your business too.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
So I think that's important.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Even if you're a speaker, like we have Ashley Kirkwood
coming in and she does this speak your Way to
Cash and she does Black women sell Live. She can
help you get government contracts when it comes to training
and coaching employees and all of that, because they have
contracts for everything, right, So I want to shine a
light on her today because this is so important when
we talk about getting rich, generational wealth and making sure
(03:08):
that we can scale our businesses so important.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
On a Wealth Wednesday, Now, who do you want to
shine a light on?
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Heylen da

How would alexanded the third he did in a fantastic
job hosting the judo camp again for our eighth year,

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Well that was shine a light eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty if you couldn't get through and
still want to shine a light and this was nice. Okay,
get your man and engagement ring will tell you who
did that in the club.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Is way up, they say in the rooms from industry shade.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
To all of the gossip out angels feeling that et.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
All right, his way up. I'm here. My guy made
a good morning. All right, let's get into this et.
Gilbert the rains his fiance. He has now proposed to
him with an engagement ring. So you know, he asked
her to marry him last month at the Eiffel Tower,
(04:29):
gave her a ring, and she revealed all of this
on Instagram, if you guys remember when that happened, you know,
And then she decided while she was hanging out with
some friends in the club on Monday to also propose
to him with a sign.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
They brought out a sign that said men wear engagement
rings too. Mellie Monico is her name now? He posted
on ig Monica Surprisingly with an engagement ring got me
feeling like a baddie. City boys, they're giving us engagement rings.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Now, okay, yeah, I like that.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
I know it's actually very nice.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I mean, yeah, that's probably gonna get something like that.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
You think so you think you deserved that?
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
What would you want your ring to look like?
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Just diamond up?
Speaker 4 (05:09):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
You've been a baddie for a long time.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Play with me, playing with me, give me my ring.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
All right? Now. I saw they were talking about this
yesterday on All hip Hop dot Com and they wrote
out the lyrics to what Price had to say to
Lauren Hill after she announced the cancelation of their tour
in the United States. The Fujis are still going on
tour overseas. I'm at a check called bar Mitzvah. And
(05:41):
here's what he had to say about Lauren Hill, or
should I say miss Hill on that track?
Speaker 7 (05:46):
Don't blame her, she made the mess.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Another pens what I told that's just the line. Don't
blame her.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Not another penny is still on tour.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
But so what was canceled, Just it's the United States
leg of the tour, because remember she said it was
a difficult decision. The shows in the UK and Europe
are moving forward as planned. But she did say she
had an injury last year that necessitated the rescheduling of
some of her shows. And you know she had damaged
vocal cords. So some media outlets, Pension for sensationalism and
(06:19):
clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has effected
ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour, wrote,
nobody will remember clickbait beefs, your salary, how many Gucci
bags you own, bogus excuses. People will remember how you
made them feel, if you kept your word, if they
could count on you, if.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
You come on time talking Yes, wow.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Wow is right. And you know it's interesting because they
are still supposed to be performing together. And it was
already hard enough for the Fujis to come back together
to go on tour in the first place.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Remember how long it's been to stay together.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
It was like a government.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah, there was some information that came out, now we
bring it in. It did make a lot of people
remember that and bring that up too.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I'm trying to remember what it was like.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
He was like, we shall see what happens. But I
tell you who was getting along. Megan thee Stallion and Glorilla.
They were on the Close Friends Only podcasts. That full
interview was gonna debut on Thursday, and here's some of
what we had a chance to see about. What is
Gloriala Like behind the scenes, do.
Speaker 8 (07:24):
You feel like there's a difference between Glow and Gloria.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Like, it's not a difference at all.
Speaker 8 (07:30):
I mean, like I feel like how you raping what
you wrap about? That's your real life. Yes, Like I
don't just like this turn all the time. Yes, Like
I literally don't like what I wrap. Literally mean like
I don't got to know. Oh okay, I'm gonna hang
Glooriala up and go be glow and go be a
good Gear're like, no, I'm just needing.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I like glorial So we love both of the accents too,
you know. It's cute and they did say they have
a bond. Meg the Stallion said on social media, I
love to buy me and Glorilla have built in these
past few weeks. You are my sister for life, you
and Colin never getting rid of me. I'm Here's what
Glorola had to say about her first time meeting Beyonce too.
Speaker 8 (08:06):
I folks kre I middle twice and every time like
I feel like I leave my bidy and go to heaven.
Like you cannot talk ill about Beyond in front of
me because might not make it out.
Speaker 6 (08:15):
I don't play about her.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
They both let them send Beyonce. All right, Well that
is your Yet when we come back, we have about
last night. That's where we discussed what we did last night.
I know you're getting ready for Mano Days, right, so
we'll talk about it. In the meantime, let's listen to
some Janey I go and bube out the worst n.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
SO about last night.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
I went down.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
I'm here, Mayno's here?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (08:42):
What day is today?
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Wednesday?
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Today's Wednesday? Friday?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
What did you do last night?
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Everything? All things Maino Days.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
People were hitting me up about Mayo senators, politicians. I
want to take part in Maino Day.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
It's a family friendly, community friendly event. Everybody's invited.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
I'm going to give you a proclamation.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
I like that.
Speaker 9 (09:02):
You know.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
We're gonna welcome you back to Brooklyn.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Stop playing, men, stop playing.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
I'm gonna tell you what I did last night.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
I was actually I got the screeners for the new
season of bel Air. Oh you went to No, I
didn't go to it. I have the screeners to watch
at home. So when does the new season starts this week? Actually?
I think three, so I got the first three episodes.
It does feel like it's been a long time since
the show has been on. I had to like flash
(09:33):
back to the first season. But yes, I'm getting ready
for the new season of Bellier. There's a lot going
on on there, and I know it's going to be
some good topics for the show. So I don't want
to give any spoilers away because I can't. But we
are going to have Jabari Banks on the show to
talk about the new season. You know, he plays Will
Smith's character on the show, and that's something that I
(09:54):
really like. One thing about being up here on way
Up with angela Ye's and I'm always trying to make
sure that I'm up to date on everything this is happening.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
I was so late on Love Island. You would be
great on Nashell Main.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
No, it's Love Island now, Dan, I need you to
hop onto Mike for a second, because Dan watches Love Island.
I'm confused because he was telling me you could watch
it on Hulu, Peacock orund Naked and Afraid.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
That's show you would be on that.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Okay you're afraid.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
No, No, it's free, nicked in Free, No afraid, My
mind's the Remax.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
But anyway, Yeah, so he was telling me that it's
different on Peacock than it is on Hulu.
Speaker 10 (10:36):
So certain streaming services have certain seasons. So like, you know,
Love Island UK is on Netflix, Love Island US is
like split. But the Love Island US that like everyone
was talking about was on Peacock and you were watching
the wrong one.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
But see, I googled it and for Love Islands. Because
I'm only on the first.
Speaker 10 (10:57):
Season, you don't need to see the other each season.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
It's like its own thing, you know.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
It's just's like Love is Blind, right, I get it.
But what I'm saying is it felt like it was
the same across all of the platforms I was. I
saw the same characters for season one. I'm confused. But
people get to people get to vote in real time.
So I guess that's why it's different. You get voted
off the island. But when I tell you that show
is evil, this is interesting.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Well it's an evil show.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
All right. Well, speaking of evil, and sometimes secrets are good,
sometimes they're evil.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Sometimes evil is good, evil is good. What do you
get at the evil good?
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Anyway?
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a
number if there's any secret that you want to tell us.
It could be a good secret, it could be an
evil secret. It could be something that you just have
never told anybody, but you want to share anonymously with
us today with no judgment. You can call us eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 3 (11:54):

Speaker 2 (11:57):

to tell them how they are.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Definitely you can make that deal. We can make the deal.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Let's make it. You're very judgmentalt, you're very judgmental.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
I've never judged anybody, all right, eight.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty call us up.
You heard it first Mano is not gonna judge you.
He's gonna let you get your whole secret out, no
matter how foul it is. Eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. Tell us a secret. This is a judgment.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Freeze On, tell us a secret.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
That was the perfect song to go into this.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
You know, I got a man I don't give all right,
well anyway eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.
It is way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here. Mayno's here? Yes,
mayn what I need you to relax?
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Okay, Well I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
All right.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
So we have people calling up anonymously, no judgment.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
I would never even like, like, come on, who am
I to judge anybody?
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah? Who are you to judge? Eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty anonymous caller, what's your secret?
Speaker 11 (12:55):
I have judged multiple times with my son.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
With yourself's best friend.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
But what yeah, yo, bro, listen the shower, little friend,
because they've been fleeing forever.
Speaker 7 (13:06):
Think like he was like twelve.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
How old is your son's best friend?
Speaker 7 (13:11):
He was nineteen?
Speaker 11 (13:12):
Time I think about tell.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
You know so, and your son's best friend was a boy.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Yeah, young man, But why would you do that?
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Did you feel weird because you knew him when he
was twelve years old?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
He's been watching him since that long?
Speaker 11 (13:24):
Yeah, but he kind of came on to me.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
But it happened a few times.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Had you luckily had you steppen men before that? Or
was that your first time?
Speaker 11 (13:35):
Absolutely? Okay, I've been for years.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
How did you guys end things?
Speaker 12 (13:43):
You know?
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Why would you Why would you call the radio?
Speaker 7 (13:47):
Though?
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Like this though, like like I don't understand, like why
would you call the radio on the radio? Why would
you call?
Speaker 2 (13:56):
This is crazy? Don't matter.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
You want to be hanging out with make is anything else?
Speaker 5 (14:05):
You will do bast off.
Speaker 11 (14:06):
On the radio?
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Okay, anything else.
Speaker 11 (14:09):
I will try to be and talking about them off
and make you a job.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Well, I think you definitely had gotten a backstage pass. Hey,
anonymous color, how are you?
Speaker 7 (14:18):
Hey? How you doing?
Speaker 3 (14:19):
You want to tell me a mano a secret? You
got your bedroom voice on, you.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
Said, But uh, okay, my secret is the first time
that I had suck.
Speaker 13 (14:34):
I told her that, Oh I ain't no verdon.
Speaker 11 (14:37):
I ain't no version.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Guys do that, okay?
Speaker 7 (14:40):
Lor No, I was averse. I ain't never did it?
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Did you? Was it over?
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Was it over quick?
Speaker 5 (14:46):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (14:46):
No, it wasn't that quick. You know.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
It's harder to tell though with guys when they're a version,
because with women.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
How experienced was she?
Speaker 11 (14:58):
She was experienced.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Most guys when y'all have virgins, you lie. But how
did you know what you were doing?
Speaker 1 (15:03):
He didn't.
Speaker 7 (15:05):
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
That laugh is graz That lafe is diabolic?
Speaker 7 (15:13):
Over real, this CD it is. I couldn't believe I
was in it, Like.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Oh my god, how old were you?
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Man?
Speaker 7 (15:23):
I was eighteen?
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Okay, I didn't waited eighteen, No, because the eighteen in
the streets is like thirty.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
No, it's fine. I'm glad he waited until was it
your girlfriend somebody you really cared about? Or was it
just okay?
Speaker 1 (15:40):
See you know what, you're still together?
Speaker 7 (15:44):
No years like two thousand and four.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
And once he did it, he ain't stopped and looked
back since. All right, thank you for calling. We love
your life. We love your life, all right? Mano? Why
is he a bozo because of his love?
Speaker 5 (16:04):
You?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Stop being mean? You're being a Maino.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Day is coming up?
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Maino day is coming up?
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Triggered?
Speaker 2 (16:12):
No, man, no, you mad about that first call anyway,
that was tell us a secret eight hundred nine fifty
one fifty.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
You could leave a message so Mano can't judge you.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
And when we come.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Back, we have your yea tea. And let's talk about Kailanie.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Oh my goodness, there's so much flying around on social
media about Kaylanie.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
She's innocent.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Okay, we'll talk about it. It's well show.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
She's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.
Let's get it, angelus feeling that.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yea te Come and get the tea, Come and get
the tea, as in the nineteen forty t all right,
Mano's here and and it's.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Time for yeat.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
All right, Kaylani, her ex is accusing her of making
false rape allegations.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
They're having this custody battle and it's been.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Crazy innocent to see. Now. I hate to see this
because there is a child involved, and so that's really
hard when people are going on social media and firing
at each other. So he put out some text messages
receipts with Kaylanie, and he says that she is the
abusive one after she filed a temporary restraining order against him.
(17:17):
He said, Kaylanie busted through her own door and is
framing her abuse as mine.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
I have more. This is why I keep a paper trail.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Sad that she's resorting to lying, and he posts messages
where he's telling her, I begged you to leave me alone.
I begged you that I didn't want to speak. I
ran from your room into the back house. You follow
me and barge to the door. I asked you repeatedly
that I did not want to talk to you. You
said you have to speak to your co parent. I
ran into the bathroom. I said, no, I don't. And
these are all messages that he's sending to her. He said,
(17:44):
I've decided I'm never speaking to you privately ever again,
and then he said to people while he was posting this,
he posted, I cut off contact with her last month
because of her abuse and how she alleged abuse when
she is scared, all right, and so.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
This is good.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
He also talked about her cheating on her last girlfriend, Kiera.
He says she allows the person she was cheating with
raped her. Kiera later found out that wasn't true. She
alleges rape and abuse when she has nothing else to
cling to. Everything else I'll address later, but I want
all false accusations of abuse to rest. That is not
normal to scream abuse when you don't know what to do.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Yeah, well we don't know what what heaven right.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
No, we don't know. This is his size, So this
is him going to social media. He said he's been
lied on and manipulated for years straight and is finally
coming to an end. And I'm glad it's out in
the open for everyone to see. Peace by piece, what
it looks like.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
He's given punk what he's given.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
First of all, you love Kaylani.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
That's why I didn't say that, never said that.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
As an artist, as an artist saying but given like soft.
You know, he had previously accused her of being a
member of a cult and then later on walked back
that clean and well, you know what I think too.
I think a lot of times people in relationships do
(19:05):
a lot of things to each other. Everybody has a
paper till of things that they can post. Based on
what you post, you might think a certain thing. But
that's why I always tell people don't text anything that
anybody can use against you, because if this ends up
going to court and now you've said crazy things. I
know people who have said things like you know, I'm
gonna kill both of us and stuff like that, and
(19:28):
you cannot do stuff like that and text things like that.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
We haven't seen a text message like that from Hano.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
No, we haven't seen that. So she has not yet
responded to any of this.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
So we're just seen what this boy said.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
He this man has said. We just see what he
has said.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
You know, well, we're gonna respect both sides right now,
but until kill Annie has her piece to say what
she has to say. Okay, well we can report on
is what's out there, I mean, all right now. Colin
Kaepernick is still training and still pushing for another NFL shot.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
He said he's got to get.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
One of these team owners to open up, and so
he hasn't played in seven years in the NFL, but
he's still trying to play. He told Sky Sports that
he's still getting ready just in case he gets that call.
We have that here.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Listen to this.
Speaker 14 (20:12):
We're still training, still pushing, so hopefully we uh, we
just gotta get one of these team owners to open up.
I mean, it's something I've trained my whole life for,
so being able to step back on the field, I
think that would be a major moment, major accomplishment for me. Also,
I guess something that I could bring a lot to
a team and help them win a championship.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
At this point, why why even still try to get
on the team.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
WHI is what he did his whole life, so right, but.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Still they're not rocking with him?
Speaker 2 (20:38):
All right, Well that is your Yet when we come back,
we have under the radar. These are the stories that
are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying under the radar.
Imagine you get charge four hundred and fifty dollars to
attend somebody's wedding.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
We'll tell you that story. It went viral. In the meantime,
what's love, it's patching the shatty, Its.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Way up watching the news that relates to you. These
stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
All right, his way up at Angela, Ye matos on
the toilet.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
But I'm sure he'll be back shortly, God willing his
feet don't fall asleep. But in the meantime, let's get
into these under the radar stories. All right, now, is
it okay to charge four hundred and fifty dollars.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
For a wedding?
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Well, this guy went on TikTok and here's what he
had to say.
Speaker 15 (21:22):
So, me and my fiance, we are getting married, right,
and to be a part of our wedding, you had
to pay four hundred and fifty dollars for a ticket,
and that's for each guest. Tell me why everybody that
we invited has the cloned the invitation. We already have
spent one hundred, maybe almost close to two hundred thousand
dollars on a wedding. Y'all spend more money, more money
on stupid stuff, but you can't come out to support
(21:44):
your family and your friends at a wedding.
Speaker 12 (21:46):
Now.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
The reason that he's saying, oh, here's mano, the guy
that is charging his guests four hundred and fifty dollars,
He said, everybody declined the invitation because of that. And
he said, y'all spend money on Beyonce tickets, Chris Brown,
meet and greet, all of those things. But he said,
why do you have an issue with pain to come
to my wedding? And so I want to know what
your thoughts are that to four hundred and fifty dollars
(22:08):
somebody's getting married. They already spent almost two hundred thousand
dollars on this wedding, and now people don't want to go.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Nobody wants to go to his wedding because.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
He's charging four hundred and fifty dollars.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Does that mean his family and friends? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (22:20):
Does that mean you don't get a gift?
Speaker 2 (22:21):
That is the gift?
Speaker 1 (22:22):
What they charge at what's her name? Wedding? What's her name?
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Don't do it?
Speaker 2 (22:26):
May No, I'm asking you a question.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
You're a charge for that one.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Anyway, let's move on. So a lot of people this
actually ended up going viral. But imagine that nine hundred
dollars for a couple to attend a wedding, Just steep.
How much do you give somebody at a wedding? Dan,
you're getting married, what do you expect financially? Like as
far as gifts, because you know you give money, nobody
knows how much to give.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
I feel it's pain here.
Speaker 10 (22:49):
Weddings are definitely like his number, one hundred to two
hundred thousand dollars. That's absolutely what weddings go for. Honestly,
I just hope that everyone's coming minimum just gives us
enough for their plate. And there's usually anywhere between depending
on the venue, anywhere between like one fifty and two
fifty a plate.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 10 (23:10):
And then you bank on you know, the rich uncles
and the rich friends to kind of come through.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
And are you doing a registerry or only money you went?
Speaker 1 (23:16):
No, just money, it's not an offset the money that
they paid because then you know, some registries you'll put
like you know, spatulism and stuff like that on there.
Speaker 10 (23:24):
And we don't want people to get away.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Right, get too spatulates right crazy, because that's what I
would do. Yeah, probably I'll give money. I actually am
very generous when I go to weddings and give money.
But you know what's tough when you have to travel
for a wedding. You have to get a room and
you have to get a gift. That's a lot.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
So is the wedding like that, like they have to
go somewhere.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
I'm sure people say certain people always do have to travel.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
So how much Jennifer and I'm charging.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Jennifer Williams in Paris? They're not charging us, but it
is expensive. I mean I bought my flight books, my room.
It's in Paris, so it is going to be pricey.
Speaker 10 (23:56):
Destination weddings. You're not supposed to give gifts gift, yes,
the gift is that.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
You right, I'm right good to know.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Anyway that is you're under the radar. You know, we
got the way it makes at the top of the hour.
And it's also a Wealth Wednesday. You see, we're talking
about money and Michelle Anthony is going to be joining
us today alongside Ashley Kirk where we're gonna have a
live uh, a live session for you guys today. Michelle
Anthony is uh, she gives out. She helps people get
government contracts, so she's actually gonna be helping Ashley scale
(24:28):
her business. She's the founder and CEO of Anthony and Associates.
Ashley has her own company, Speak Your Way to Cash,
but she wants to figure out how to get these
million dollar government contracts. And we're gonna let you guys
sit in on a session. It's way up.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
She's like the talk like they, Jean like they and
jeez man, she's spilling it all. This is yek way up.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Somebody cut main nose. Never mind, he's here, all right,
It's way up. It's time all right now. Netflix has
renewed The je Gentlemen for a second season. That's My Show,
and they've also renewed Super soll.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
For both of those of my shows.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Excited. I haven't watched The Gentleman yet.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
It's really good.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Want a farm or something like that.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
I have something to do with it. It's you know,
there was a Gentleman movie. So are you familiar with
god Richie's films like uh right, Snatch, uh smoking exactly?
You know all those all those movies. So yeah, and
the Gentleman movie.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Actually, I come from Bessy May No days coming up
on Friday, all right, So anyway, and then Supercell is
being renewed. I'm excited for that. I actually really enjoyed
watching that. It's that was really good.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Are sweating my sweating? I'm just hand.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
I'm focused, all right, all right, and much love to
our girls. Scarlet by the way, Scarlet, you know she
recently was on Live and her boyfriend at that time
was with him was not very positive. Here was the
original conversation that a lot of people wighed in on
and went viral. You think I'm a pretty baby?
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Beautiful sometimes? I mean sometimes sometimes?
Speaker 2 (26:15):
No, not no, damn my goodness, damn. Listen. I just
want to say, if your man love you, it don't
matter if you don't have makeup on. If you bond it, girl,
he's still gonna be like you are beautiful because he
loves every little piece of you.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
He loves you when you don't got it like that.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
He loves you when he Why would he do that?
I don't know, but it was embarrassing for her, and
she went on social media and posted herself and said
that she has broken up with him and has gotten
her confidence back, so shut out. Good for her to Scarlet.
I think Scarlet is beautiful inside and out.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
That's right, Shout out the scarlet all right.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Now.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
You know, I love a horror movie, and I want.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
To play a priest in the horror movie at some point.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
Let's put it out there. Put that in what you
doing exorcism?
Speaker 1 (27:00):
That's what I'm saying. I want to be the priest
that comes in and performs the exorcism in a horror movie.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Usually sometimes think about it.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
I can play it, I don't want to. I'm I'm.
Speaker 9 (27:15):
All right.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Well, Brandy is starring in a movie.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
It's called The front Room, and that trailer is out
right now. I'm excited for this. It's going to be
in theaters on September sixth. Everything is a mess work
house still isn't right? What are we gonna do?
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Norman?
Speaker 7 (27:36):
Who's this?
Speaker 9 (27:41):
Must normans?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
He wants to mommy, Norman Norman bates. She said, Norman, listen,
I don't know if it's no do you know Norman
the base motel, the cycle, right, So this is like
an extension of that.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Just make things up, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
She's said Norman, and he said I am his mother
like Norman like it.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
And involves a mother in law from hell. That is
what we know about us so far.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
This is this is psycho part what.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Seven does stomach exactly. We have a responsibility here.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Beyonce's gotten seventeen nominations for the People's Choice Country Awards.
Nice so shout out to seventeen awards, and you can
actually vote for her online vote PCCA dot com and Kwando.
Rondo has pleaded guilty in his federal case and he
did want to apologize to all of his loved ones.
He entered his plea during a court hearing yesterday, after
previously having come to a plea agreement for a lesser
(28:37):
charge back in June. He was initially facing up to
twenty years in prison. That is after being arrested along
with eighteen other men last June on charges of weapon possession,
drug conspiracy, and participating in gang activity. So now he's
only facing up to five years in prison for pleading guilty.
So he'll be sentenced on December twelfth. Yes, Miam, all right,
(28:58):
that's Kwando Rondo when we come back. We have asked
Yee eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifties and
I'm gonna call this up.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Any question you have.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
I'm here with the award winning advice giving with Mano
and he is on one.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
It's way up, whether.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
It's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
You should you should know. This is ask ye what's up?
His way up? But Angela, Yee, I'm here, my guy,
Meno's here. No, man Yeah, you're not doing nothing right.
You went to the bathroom four times and that's Alie.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
It's like I've been drinking coffee.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
It's like, all right, all right. Well, anyway, we have
asked Yee and you're the award winning advice giver.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
So we got NiCoT on the line. What's up, Nicole? Hi,
what's your question?
Speaker 13 (29:37):
So I went on a date with a guy a
few days ago, a guy to really really like, but
for whatever reason, he didn't text me back for like
three four days, And I asked my friends, like, you know,
like what's up with that? But would I be wrong
if I ghosted him?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Well?
Speaker 3 (29:52):
How can you ghost?
Speaker 1 (29:53):
I don't know, Like he goes, he.
Speaker 16 (29:55):
Goes to me.
Speaker 13 (29:56):
But would I be wrong if I, like, if I
wanted to text him back, like I just don't end up?
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Well, he already ghosted you though, that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Wait, you said he didn't text you back, So did
you text him already and he ignored it?
Speaker 6 (30:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yeah, you got ghosted baby.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
So you said the date went well? Is there a
reason that he would think it didn't.
Speaker 13 (30:15):
No, that's the funny part.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
I'm just so confused, right, you know sometimes, how did
you meet him?
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Was it on a dating app?
Speaker 13 (30:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:23):
He's probably dating multiple people.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Here's the thing. He was just trying girls out. So
here's the thing, like everybody don't want us, baby.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Oh my gosh, just did you did you do anything
with him? Did y'all sleep together?
Speaker 1 (30:34):
No?
Speaker 13 (30:34):
We didn't. It was just like a first day. It
was okay, pretty casual. But I thought it went pretty well.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
No kissing or anything.
Speaker 13 (30:41):
Be kiss but that was pretty much.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
That's I mean, that's disappointing when you go out with
somebody and finally and you like them and then they don't.
It happens, though, What did you say when you texted
him that he didn't respond to.
Speaker 13 (30:54):
I just said, hey, you know, like just to catch
up and stuff, like to see if he was doing already,
because it's.
Speaker 8 (30:59):
Been like.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
He said, and he said nothing anything. Yeah, I'm guessing
he said nothing.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
I would say this nothing.
Speaker 8 (31:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
If he was interested, he would have texted you already.
It's not protocol to just not hit somebody back. You
got ghosted, and it may not be you. It may
be that he has other things going on and maybe
that he just was you know, who knows.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Maybe he just not that into you.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Right when you guys left the date, was it like, okay,
did you make plans or had you discussed like we'll
do something again later?
Speaker 13 (31:31):
No, Like, I mean, at least for me, I just
assumed that, like we would probably go out on another
date or like text each other back later tonight.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
This is okay, though, Just cut your losses, because if
he if he wanted to make the time he would have.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
And I love the fact that you seem like you
have a good sense of humor about it. Yeah, okay,
but I also don't believe in playing games. So if
he does end up hitting you back, and just be
like I thought you weren't interested, I hit you up,
you didn't hit me back. And you have to also
teach people how to treat you early on. So if
he does hit you back, I wouldn't ghost him. I
would just be honest and be like, look, I thought
we had a good date, and just be direct, you know,
(32:05):
and take it from there. But in the meantime, he
hasn't responded. You reached out, he didn't respond.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Keep it moving, definitely, okay.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
All right, well, thank you Nicole, and I wish you
luck on your dating journey.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
Have a good time with you.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Yeah, it's all right. Maybe sometimes they just don't all
want us.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
You should see how many people don't have mano back.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
It's fine.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Yeah, if you believe that.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Thank you Nicole for thank you all right. Well that
was ask ye. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one
fifty is a number, and it's a wealth Wednesday. So
when we come back, we'll be talking government contracts all right.
Michelle Anthony, she's the founder and CEO of Anthony and Associates,
and she's going to be live mentoring a founder and
CEO of Speak Your Way to Cash, Ashley Kirkwood. This
(32:50):
is valuable information if you want to make millions of
dollars with government contracts.
Speaker 12 (32:54):
It's way up kind a dream of wealthy and I
don't mind sharing my wealth dog financially, mentally and physically.
Speaker 4 (33:02):
This is Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
What's up? His way up with Angela yee? I'm Angela
Ye on our Wealth Wednesday. You know we love Wealth
Wednesday and my partner is Stacy Tisdale is here.
Speaker 17 (33:12):
Happy Wealth Wednesday, everybody, and we are so excited to
continue to bringing it to you for black small business
ones with two amazing ladies. One of them you met already,
Michelle Anthony, And we've been hearing so much from all
of you about how you want to learn about government
contracts that we asked and she said yes. Michelle is
going to be our guest co host for the remainder
(33:33):
of the month. Thank you so much for doing that.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
When you say you asked, is I asked too? Because
I want to learn more about government contracts as well
and how I can make my way to that one
hundred million billion dollar status.
Speaker 17 (33:46):
So what we've been really focusing on is getting everybody
out of the small business hustle mentality that so many
of us are in, and thinking about scaling and creating industries.
And that's why we're bringing you these role models. We
already introduce you to Michelle and I don't like to
choosing the term, but it's like I met her many
me when I met Ashley Kirkwood.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
Your business is number.
Speaker 17 (34:09):
Three sixty on in five thousand, So start by telling
everybody about your business.
Speaker 6 (34:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (34:14):
So I run a company called Speak your Way to Cash.
We specialize we're a sales training organization and we really
have a unique niche to help experts to land corporate contracts.
Speaker 6 (34:23):
So most of our clients are similar to me.
Speaker 16 (34:25):
We're making good money in corporate but did not like
being the only one, okay.
Speaker 6 (34:30):
And that was my story.
Speaker 16 (34:31):
So I left a three hundred thousand dollars corporate law
job I was partner track at a large law firm
to start my own business. And so now we teach
entrepreneurs how to sell to corporations by pitching directly to them.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
I always think it's such a big deal when somebody
leaves behind a successful position, as you both have done,
to start your own thing. And so I commend you both,
you know, for being in that position, because that's really
betting on yourself, and a lot of times that's a
hard thing for people to do. Right now, it's both Wednesday.
I'm here with Stacy Tisda and we are talking to
founder and CEO of Anthony and Associates, Michelle Anthony, along
(35:06):
with her mentee Ashley Kirkwood, who is the founder and
CEO of Speak your Way to Cash.
Speaker 17 (35:10):
But you told me you're like, I want to hit
the one hundred million dollar mark, and you think government
contracts can help you do that.
Speaker 6 (35:16):
I do.
Speaker 16 (35:16):
I think you know one of the things that I
know what I know and I know what I don't know.
I know how we would reach that mark if we
keep doing what we're doing the volume that we would
have to do. But I also understand the largest buyer
in the world is the federal government.
Speaker 17 (35:28):
Michelle, you are so successful, if you have multimillion dollar businesses,
why is this important to you? You said you want
to step back and really carve out this time and
give back.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Why is that so important to you?
Speaker 9 (35:40):
It's important to me because the further you go up
this ladder, the fewer people you see that look like you.
And when you understand that, if you're able to transfer
knowledge not money, because if I give you money and
you don't understand how to manage it and use it,
you will squander it. But if I give you knowledge
(36:03):
and then at money, then I see a path of success.
Speaker 17 (36:09):
Rachelle, give our audience a sense of what government contracts
did for your business and how you know them so well.
Speaker 9 (36:15):
There is a major education that's going to be involved.
But once you learn government contracting, there's no business on
this earth you can't do. That's the beauty that I've learned.
That's why you can hear me say I have an
energy company, I do technology, and I don't have a
technology background, but because I've mastered government contracting and business
at that level, whatever you talk to me about, whatever
(36:36):
business you bring to me, once I hear the model
and I understand it, I can take it all.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Right.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
Well, it is a wealth Wednesday. I'm here with Stacy Tisdale.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
We have more and when we come back with Michelle
Anthony and her mentee Ashley Kirkwad. We're going to be
doing a live mentoring session about government contracts, the.
Speaker 12 (36:51):
Dream of wealthy and I don't mind sharing my wealth
dogs getting you straight financially, mentally and physically.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
This is Wealth Wednesday on Where up with Angelaye?
Speaker 2 (37:01):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (37:01):
Its way up at Angela?
Speaker 8 (37:02):
Yee?
Speaker 2 (37:02):
I'm here.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Stacy Tisdill is here.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
So Wealth Wednesday and we have the founder and CEO
of Anthony and Associates, Michelle Anthony, alongside her mentee Ashley Kirkwood,
who is a founder and CEO of Speak Your Way
to Cash in a live mentoring session.
Speaker 17 (37:17):
Why did you want Michelle to be your coach and
what do you want to ask her about?
Speaker 6 (37:21):
Yes, so let's start from the beginning.
Speaker 16 (37:22):
Okay, because I've looked into this, but let's assume I
haven't looked into it at all. Right, what are the
first three things that you need to have in place
or whatever number you think makes sense in order to
get started selling to the government. There's definitely some pre work.
So is it registering on sam dot gov? Where should
people start If they're like, Okay, I want to do this,
what's the first step.
Speaker 9 (37:40):
Well, you can't register on sam dot gov until you
actually form a corporation, and you have to know what
you want to do, because when you go on to
sam dot gov or even when you form that entity,
the government is going to want to know what's called
your next code. In ai CS, that's the North American
Industry Classification System and classifies all types of businesses. So
(38:03):
whatever it is you think you can offer, there are
so many and once you choose those things and you
go through that process, then they're going to go through
this whole process where they're going to verify everything, make
sure everything's legit, and eventually they're going to give you
something called a cage code, and that is a code
that will follow your business the rest of the entity's existence,
and every time you win a contract, your cage code
(38:24):
is entered on there.
Speaker 17 (38:25):
This sounds really intimidating.
Speaker 9 (38:27):
Yeah, I guess for me, it's not, because I'm very competitive,
that's all it is.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
It is not going to be easy, but what it
is is life changing.
Speaker 17 (38:34):
And think about the time people spend hustling, entrepreneurs really hustling, hustling, hustling,
putting that time and energy into getting a government contract
for your business.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
It's worth it. It is.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Government contracts aren't going anywhere.
Speaker 9 (38:46):
They're not if some people that have been in place
for decades and they're not going anywhere because the government
contracts have created dynasties for people.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Right now, it's about Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
I'm here with Stacy Tisda and we are talking to
founder and CEO of Anthony and Associates, Michelle Anthony, along
with her mentee Ashley Kirkwood, who is the founder and
CEO of Speak Your Way to Cash. Michelle, if people
are dealing with you after this and coming to you
for a mentorship, will you be able to help figuring
out that process?
Speaker 6 (39:16):
I will help to a degree.
Speaker 9 (39:18):
You know, I'm only able to do so much right,
but I have a team and I have other people
that it's because of them I'm successful. So what we
want to do is create some training modules and sessions
that people can go back to and they can listen to,
and then I'll give them time to ask me questions.
Speaker 17 (39:35):
And that's why we're honored to help you build this.
And you can hashtag ask Michelle. You can send questions
to Wealth Wednesdays follow her on Instagram at Michelle Vegan's
Anthony and.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
Ashley, I can have you leave without telling us about
Black Women Sell Live, just so people who are listening
get to know about that. We are helping black women
learn to sell in the private contracting space.
Speaker 16 (39:56):
We teach direct outreach. You don't need a large Instagram following,
You don't have to be an influencer for it. You
don't need startup capital, you need a laptop. You need
the ability to have sales conversations, tell people how they
can do business with you, what you're going to give
to them, and then close the sale. So we're gonna
teach you write audience, write fit, and how to sell
and close the deal. And that's what we're doing in
October and Atlanta, Georgia at Black Women's Cell Lives and
(40:18):
how can people find out about it? They can go
to Black Women Sell event dot com.
Speaker 17 (40:22):
You two are perfect. Our whole goal this month is
to get people to stop thinking small.
Speaker 10 (40:27):
